Hi,
I am escalating this because i bought an air con a year before and it started making sound after providing a service a month before.I complaint and requested a service on Satyrday my request number[protected], however no one has visisted yet, called on the number in Delhi spoke to Preeti she was really rude and today she is saying we cant do service as it doesnt come under our area and confirmed from the backend person.Havivg said that she hang up the phone and then called customer care spoke to Juhi she cant help.My question is is this the service you provide and trust my worst ever service i have got from any company.And also how come it is a issue when they have serviced before a month to the same address and now they are saying it doesnt come under us.

Hitachi — Refrigerator completely dead

Refrigerator is in complete dead position and after 48hrs of complain no response from co and all the goods in the refrigerator was destroyed and it has been only one month the refrigerator has been installed

I am using a 1.5 Ton Split Type Hitachin make AC in Bhagalpur, Bihar. It is not cooling at all and is showing a continuous RED indication. Please advise.

    2 Tn Split AC purchased from Raipur Electronics Kolkata in October 2015 & installed . After 2 or 3 months no cooling, complaint in customer care & their man detected gas leaked & repaired accordingly . Just after repairing a hissing sound heard & the man told it is gas passing sound, nothing to worry . But I was not happy with the sound & I again complaint, a man came & said the same . Now there is trickling of water from the indoor unit .
    Basically feeling very disappointed with this AC

      I have purchased a Hitachi 2 Door 451 Litre Refrigerator (Model No: Hitachi RV470PND3K-INX) on 17.08.2015. The purchase was made from Hitachi Dealer in Kolkata, Great Eastern. As per the Manufacturer's commitment the product is warranted for one years & service call shall be reverted within 48 Hours.However our Hitachi stopped cooling on 28.04.16 & immediately complaint was lodged with Hitachi with complaint ID [protected].

      To our utter surprise, they took 5 days to attend the call & when they came they didi not have correct parts. They went back with a commitment that they will be attending with the correct spare parts immediately. After lot of persuasion, they came again after more than week. To our utter frustration, now they are saying compressor is not working & need to be replaced.

      For last 16 days me & my family is battling with Hitachi Executives for solution but their response to this matter is absolutely shocking to us. Their Team Leader Mr. Amit Dey maintains a no regret approach and is least bothered about the problem we are facing.

      I really do not know that when the problem will be solved .The Refrigerator is still under warranty.

        Complain raised on 9/4/2016. It taken 1 month but the problem is not going to be short out.
        Customer care gives me time for 2days and supervisor gives me 2 days time all this guys are just delaying and harasing me.
        I have a patient in my house doctor prescribes ac for him thas why i have purchased 2nos. Ac of hitachi.

          I called for service on[protected] as the Front blade and Remote is not working. Till now I have called the Hitachi customer support many times but result is zero. Everytime I call they tell me the same thing that the technician will contact you within 48 working hours but haven't got any response at all. For any company, after sales service is very important but here the service lever from the Multinational Company Hitachi is very week. I hope that I'll get the service as early as possible. But don't know when?

            Sub: non attending of complaints
            Sir,
            I belongs to sullurpeta which is located in nellore (Dist) in andhra pradesh, and purchased your so called trusted company of hitachi split ac 1.5 ton last year which is installed around 29 jun 2015.
            Until 10 apr 16 the ac was working normally, but on 11 apr 16 my ac stopped working and its showing that filter led blinking. On 13 apr 16, i complained about the malfunctioning of ac which is under warranty through customer care number[protected] and following are the complained numbers:

            The customer care promised that service persons will attend my complaint within 48 hrs also informed us that the product is under warrant till 28 jun 2016. But after 48 hrs also no service persons attended. Again i complained the same matter and this time they have given a strong remainder and promised me that the service persons will attend as soon as possible. But unfortunately this time also not happened, the customer care persons continuously giving strong remainders but no joy… at last he has given me the nearby service center contact number - that’s vijayawada ([protected]) and requested to contact.
            On contacting vijayawada service center ([protected]) on 16 apr 15, he promised me to look after it. After some time he has given me nellore service center contact number mr. Nazir ([protected]). I contacted mr. Nazir and told the entire matter, he told that the above complaint were not given to them but still will send the service person. At last after several request he sent one person sk. Ashwak technician ([protected]) who is from hitachi company arrived at 16:00hr on 16 apr 16. He inspected the ac and told that sensor board found faulty and the same is to be replaced. As the ac is under warranty he told that to get a new sensor board from company it takes one week and for that time period he will temporarily change the sensor from purchasing it from local place in nellore on our charge and will change the board and make the ac functioning and after that when new sensor board comes from company he will replace it. For that he took rs.500/- for replacing sensor for that he has not given any bill as it’s our own cost. He took the board with him on the same day and promised to come back with repairing sensor on it as early as possible by sunday that on 17 apr 16. But he did not come on 17th.
            On 18 apr 16 i rang at 13:05 mr. Nazir nellore service in charge but he did not attended the call at all. When i called sk. Ashwak technicain he told us to call his boss mr. Nazir who is not attending the call at all. The same matter i told to vijayawada service center ([protected]) which they told that they will look into the matter.
            It became headache to me on the matter of your service sir. Again i called number of times to nellore mr. Nazir on 19 apr 16, but did not lift the phone and again called back vijayawada service center ([protected]). On the evening the same technician came to my home and fixed the repaired sensor board which was taken on 16 apr 16. Also he charged me rs.500/- again saying that its transport charge. Mr. Nazir told also confirmed from me about the transport charge, but did not given me any bill. As my ac is in warranty period he is supposed to change the sensor board which he promised before he took to repair it, but when i enquired about it, he simply told me to contact the company about it. Still again when i contacted customer care he told that the complaint was closed[protected]. I am surprised. Again i registered a new complaint regarding the changing the sensor board as it comes in warranty period on 02 may 16 and they promised that it will be done with in 48 hrs but still not done. Is this your service sir, charging without giving bills and giving false statements…sir i request you to look into the matter and should be solved properly under warranty without charge.
            Sir, if i feel the matter is not getting solved (Replacing with new sensor board) i may go to consumer court with the proof of saved phone audio and video files of repaired technician who charged me without bill receipt. Your services were forcing me to take these extreme further steps. Please look into the matter urgently.
            Sir, i trusted your company and the services that you provided are in worst conditions. You can look the service handling procedures and customer harassment in this peak summer touching temperature to 49°c. I have been mentally harassed on your services. Please i strongly request you to look after the matter and avoid me to put the case through consumer forum. I trusted your company and i surprised to see the things going like this.. Look into the matter on priority thanking you sir.

              I had a service request for window ac. For 2 days there was no acknowlwdgement from the company. Calling on centralized customer care multiple times also didn't resolve the matter. After getting local service centre contact from online portals, i contacted them but the request submitted on 28th april has not got completed until 7th may. I have an annual maintenance contract with hitachi and they are supposed to provide 3 services in in year, but rather than providing the services they have ignored and let the contract expire. This is not the first time such a unprofessional attitude has been shown by hitachi service. This shows even a reputed organisation like hitachi only believes in sale numbers without any concern for customer support.

                Good day,

                I had purchased a split ac of following details on 16th may 2015 :

                Model no: ras318hvd (Hitachi kaze neo split ac 1.5tr-3star)
                Machine serial no – 150d30977

                After 6/7 days of installation of ac it was found that water is dripping from the indoor unit. As per the technician it was due to chocking of drain and he cleaned the drain line and made something in the indoor unit and the water dripping amount reduced.

                Presently in this summer season in the month of march while starting the machine again this problem started aggravating, immediately the complain was communicated to the nearby local authorized service center ‘ace business associates’ on 2nd march 2016, after 7days the technician visited and do some checking but problem did not solve, again same thing was communicated to them and also complain was registered through hitachi online web service vide request no.-[protected]. Upon repeated reminding on 29/04/2016 the technician checked the machine again and could not solve the problem, so he took the indoor unit to their workshop:

                On 5th may service personnel / technician fitted the machine but it is found that the problem aggravated too much as the room is getting flooded, however they have confirmed that the indoor unit is having some internal fault and cannot be repaired.

                The service personnel requested us to write to the customer care about the problem and for replacement of the unit.
                This is having a very negative effect on the usage of the ac and it is flooding the room and the bad smell is also coming out from the unit.

                We had very high regards to hitachi products but unfortunately the whole experience has been devastating so far.
                We request you to do the needful to replace this unit at the earliest. Using this product presently is nothing more than a nightmare.

                Look forward to hearing from you for the replacement of the unit at the earliest.

                  I purchased one 3 door hitachi refrigerator vide invoice no. Bbs/sa/1516/09737 dated 20.03.2016 and it was installed by the company technicians. Just after 20 days of installation, i noticed some kind of burning smell from the power connecting plug/wire and i made complain for cheking. The company technician visited and advised me to change the burnt plug point and i did the same. Still i got the smell and made repeated complains in the web number. About more than a dozen mail complaints sent to the company were returned undelivered and failure.
                  My repeated complaints to the manager service, head service and to the executive director, vide complain no.[protected] could not be solved so far.
                  No response from any quarter is made after even 15 days.

                    Very bad experience with Hitachi Ac after sales service.
                    I had filled a complaint on 2nd week of april regarding my cooling problem.
                    But no one came upto 25 days.
                    The service engineer came after 25 days, he says that the gad has to be charged.
                    But at their service centre in patna they dont have R22 gas in stock. They respond it will come after a week.
                    After 10 days of 1st visit of engineer after so many phone calls made but no one picks the phone, personally i went to service centre to request to send person complete his work.
                    They came after 2 days & filled the gas, when i request them to service the ac machine, they replied to lodge another complaint for servicing. As it was not mentioned in ur sevice job card.
                    The day they filled the gas, after going of engineer, machine started making noise.
                    I called at their service centre, but no one picks the phone.
                    I request you to pls look into the matter & get it resolve at ur earliest.
                    BUT I WOULD REQUEST EVERYONE NOT TO BUY HITACHI PRODUCT ONLY DUE TO THEIR VERYYYY BAAADDD SERVICE, WHICH I AM FACING UPTODAY

                      I purchased hitachi zunoh 5200f 2t ac on 20th april. I was told by Hitachi dial a care that it would be installed within 2 working days. It was finally installed 1 week later by neocool system ( phone number[protected]. I asked them why the delay in installation as we were told it would take 2 working days and the neo cool technician told me we are lucky as other customers have been waiting for 1 month for installation.

                      After 3 days this ac stopped working and i placed complaint on the same day, 30th april. Despite followup calls to dial a care till date no one has attended the complaint.

                      I called dial a care again today, 5/5/2016 and was told it will take 5 more days as they have "heavy workload" in hyderabad.

                      If a customers brand new ac breaks down after being installed for 3 days in peak summer in Telengana, Hyderabad and suppose it happens repeatedly do the Hitachi, India people think the customer should suffer. Rather than giving excuses of heavy workload being summer isnt it their job to have more qualified technicians to attend to the grievances of their customers?

                      i stay in Hyderabad where people are dying as a result of heat stroke and installed this split ac for my children who are young and barents both of whom are over 70 years of age
                      .
                      After paying 57000 for this ac of a reputed japanese company I am shocked, extremely disappointed with Hitachi india, their technicians, neocool system, Hyderabad who never pick up the phone. They need to be more professional in their work ethics and attitude . Hitachi, India website provides the names of three management level persons and despite sending them my complaints this issue has not been rectified.

                      Hitachi India dial a care team is itself admitting its summer and they have heavy workload but that doesnt mean the customer who paid hundreds of thousand should suffer. If hitachi Hyderabad doesnt have technicians then that is their internal problem and rather than mentioning this fact once the customer has bought this product and doing the rounds of their customer care numer it should be on their website.

                      I urge Hitachi, India. Hyderabad to kindly attend to my complaint at the earliest.

                        I have purchased 2 units of Hitachi AC S1.2 Tons RAU514AWD from Kohinoor Televideo Pvt. Ltd. At Mulund Check Naka, Mulund West, on vide Invoice No. MUL/559727 Dtd.28/03/2016.

                        Both units installed on 30/03/2016. I am disappoint to inform you that, the product of your company is giving us problem. There is NO COOLING effect from the Air Conditioner.

                          I recently purchased an air conditioner from hitachi (Rau518hud)(Window ac 1.5 ton) from a store in new delhi. As big electronics products come packed, i came to know about its problem after its installation. Just a second after the agent turned it on, he himself said "i think it is not cooling !!" whoa!! What? I bought a new ac and now just seconds after turning it on, it is not cooling. Also the ac is too much noisy. I complained about it to the vendor, he said it is company's headache to take on this matter from now. I was really shocked. Only 3-4 hours after buying it, the vendor denied to replace it. I then contacted hitachi, they send their two technicians to work out the problem. They then said "there is no gas inside the compressor pump, how it will cool then?" !! They just said what is unexpectable. Hitachi manufactured and delivered this ac without checking whether it is working or not? How hitachi brags about its quality, but now what happened? At last after 3-4 days of headache the technicians fixed it but i'm still disappointed about their manufacturing quality. They should check their appliances before passing them out of their facility!!!

                          Their technicians are very good BTW. They sorted it out very nicely. No complaints about them. Hitachi is a good brand and they should try to make their products better.

                            I bought a hitachi airconditioner and for the installation i gave request on 21st april... Since then i am running pillar to post right from calling their call center to writing to their management all three levels given on their website but to no avail. My installation request no is [protected].On calling the dealer or the call center they just give three mobile numbers all of which are no reply. The call center manager says that he can do nothing more than sending the reminder. I am totally frustrated now as it is too hot and their call center has no idea of when it can get installed. I was a great fan of hitachi brand but this time experience has forced me to write this post. If anyone is aware of the mobile no or the email id of any of its senior employees please share it. I really want to return this product and want to take the case to consumer forum now. They are cheaters who only believe in selling the product and are not concerned about providing installation. I came to know from their call center that a number of people are facing the same problem in banglore.

                              Hitachi inverter ac (Rau318kwea) has been purchased on 16th april 2016 from tirupathi electronics(Parent is bajaj electronics), bhel, hyderabad, telangana. It was delivered on 17th april 2016. Upon multiple reminders, on 26th april 2016, installation was done and the technicain confirmed that there was a problem with indoor blower and raised a new request.

                              On 29th april 2016, another hitachi techinician visited and identified that there is a problem with pcb in the outdoor unit due to which ac is not working. He mentioned that the unit will be replaced within a week and we would get a confirmation call from their team. Even after 5 days, we haven't got any call from any of the service team. Upon calling customer care, they were just informing that there was a problem with hitachi franchise in hyderabad and it will take around 15 days for the resolution.

                              No one is bothered about the situation and we are not sure when would we get the solution to our problem.

                                My hitachi AC has cooling problem. So I first raised a service request on their website on 24th April, 2016. Nobody responded.

                                Next I raised a service request on their customer care no [protected] on 26th April, 2016.

                                Service request no: [protected].

                                I was assured a response in 48 hrs. But when I received no response, I sent a mail to [protected]@jci-hitachi.com on 29th April.

                                Even they assured a response in 24 hrs. Today is 3rd of May and I do not have AC at home. All assurances are useless. They have no system for taking care of customer. I regret buying AC from Hitachi. Will never ever buy from them.

                                  I have brought AC on 5 apr till from starting its making noise, after several complaint no body come to check. This was id [protected] two time engineer come, they say AC will replaced but no body come.
                                  And finally now its totally dead, not working at all.
                                  Customer care service always busy. Please help me.
                                  Its really unexpected from the brand like hitachi. I have invested so hard money now i have left with dead box.

                                    I, anwesha ghosh, am writing this letter on behalf of my father, debasis ghosh. My father bought a hitachi 1.2 ton air conditioner [model : 514 htn] from nibedita electronics at bhadreswar on the 30th of march, 2013. Everything was well and fine with the ac till last week. The yellow light of the ac stopped working. There was no problem with the electricity supply since the plug point light of the ac glowed a bright red. We called our family electrician, who, on examining the internal parts of the ac detected a fault in its circuit board. He got it repaired and reinserted it inside the ac. The ac worked for four- five days but we felt that the cooling was somehow less than what it used to be. The timer too, started working faultily. The timer stopped nearly two hours before the scheduled time. Yesternight, exactly at 3 am, the ac stopped working suddenly. None of the lights were working. Now, all the three lights [red, yellow, green] are continuously blinking together. The ac obviously is not working.
                                    You might blame us for not calling the customer care executives in the first place. You might blame us for not registering for the amc on a regular basis. But i would like to ask you some questions. Hitachi is considered to be in the world of air conditioners what apple is in the world of phones and laptops. Why then, is our ac not working properly? Is amc the key solution to everything? The people who are sent by the company do nothing more than cleaning the internal net of the ac with soap water. I shell out so many bucks for the amc and then no fault occurs in my ac means my loss. I await your reply.

                                      I have bought hitachi model no RAW318 KUD ON 19 th April 2016 at Vasant @co. the technician came for installation has broken the front panel due to his arrogant work. i have given compliant. none came for the solution. pl do the needful and change the panel. further the set gives very unbearable noise.

                                      Shall i return and get split Ac. pl answer.

                                        My 1.5 ton split hitachi a/c is not working since more than 2 weeks. A complaint has been logged with hitachi on 21st april. Ref no is [protected]. Since then i made at least 15 calls to hitachi customer care[protected] and kolkata service center numbers. However till date no one neither called me nor attended the issue. Absolutely disappointed to see such poor service quality of hitachi post sale. I now understand that i made a mistake by buying hitachi ac.

                                        People should stay away from buying hitachi ac as their after sales service is just pathetic
