My husband and I bought an AC from Hitachi less than a year ago and already the compressor is out and we've had nothing but problems with trying to get it fixed. First, the technician was awful and just briefly looked at it and said there was nothing wrong with it, yet it was blowing only barely cool air. Then there was the customer service people on the phone. My husband has been calling them for days and still no one is here to fix this unit. They originally say that someone will come and fix it within 24-48 hours, which is false. We're on day 5 and no one has come and the call center refused to allow my husband to talk to a supervisor or they gave him the number of someone that doesn't bother to answer their phone. We called again and FINALLY got through to a supervisor, but we haven't seen a technician yet. Just bad business in general, we'll never, ever buy from Hitachi again.

    I bought hitachi kashikoi 300i 1.5 tonne ac on 5th may with installation request no. [protected].The several follow ups & requests installation technicians arrived on 13th but without proper safety tools to work on height and after possible arrangements the quality of piping & insulation was found very- exceptionally poor. I sent poor piping pictures to Mr Deepak of hitachi via whatsapp. When asked for better insulation, charge was demanded, which i subsequently paid. At time of expansion valve opening, something went wrong & could only taken care next day.The installation with new changed valve & gas filling was done on 14th may .The ac went down on 17th may again. I tried to contact the hitachi person Mr Deepak & mr Dilip & even other technician via call & message for service but they did not respond. Finally I logged another request .[protected] on 19th may. Even rigorous follow up with customer care which said service in 48 hrs did not help till 27th.On 25th, 26th, 27th I tried contact Mr Deepak, Mr, dillip, Mr kirtti. may many more. No one gives any response no info about when & what action. Finally on 27th I was told that the problem with outdoor unit is not to be serviced, rather replacement is to be done. Now, Mr dillip said outdoor unit replacement, mr deepak said indoor-outdoor whole unit to be replaced. I mailed the bill of purchase to them immediately. No official response has come till now. I have mailed to concerned higher officers Mr Vishal Marar & Mr Sandeep Gupta but in vain. Only auto generated mail responses come saying sorry for inconvenience. Hitachi might be having many customer and loosing me won't effect it anything but I have only ONE AC and it needs to work immediately.The list of contact details whom I have pleaded for service are as follows:- Via Email-Mr Vishal Marar & Mr Sandeep Gupta & customer care email address Mr Deepak- [protected] Mr dillip-[protected], [protected] Mr Kirtti- [protected] Technician numbers- [protected], [protected], [protected], Other contacts-[protected], [protected] Customer care number[protected] The inconvenience caused is not for-granted. I also want to know what action has the management taken so that this does not get repeated to anyone else.

    I think this is a routine in Hitachi of not responding to customer request nor updating the status of the complaint.
    They do not have enough stock of spare parts in stock and the customer has to wait as per the will of the Hitachi Company. Responding for purchasing the product. Complaint raise don 11 Sep 16 (ref no [protected]).

      Hi, I purchased a New Hitachi window AC 1.5 ton on 5 April 2015 and from the date of purchasing the AC is not working . I called in Hitachi customer care on 13 April 2015 and I had registered my complaint (complaint no. was [protected]) . On 17 April the technicians visited at my home and they found that the room temperature censor is not working. they said to me they will replace it within 2-3 working days . But no one is came at home after Sunday then on 22 April Friday I called again in Hitachi customer care and asked the status of my registered compliant they said it is still open yet I requested them to take it on priority basis as i was facing the problem from 1st day . He said to me that he had sent a priority mail from their side and the technicians will visit at my home with in 48 hours . Next day on Saturday I called to Hitachi Service center and I told them the whole story then again he said that he will also to take it on priority basis (just for formality). He (the service center guy) was aware regarding the problem which I was facing but after that he sent the technicians at my home and they didn't carry the part which should be changed. Again When I was called him and told that Why u have been sent these guys without the replacing part then he replied to me that sorry Sir, Actually we are new and we learning how to do work. I mean what the hell is that he only sent those guys just for the formality. Finally on 25 April 2015 Monday the complaint (which I had raised) has been automatically closed without any resolution. And Till today it has been not resolved. I have called up so many times in their customer care but I m not getting service from their side I have such a bad experience with Hitachi . I heard lot of thing about this brand in AC . But now I think this is biggest mistake of my life that i Purchased Hitachi AC. Please help me out, and please take any kind of action from your side If you can.

        i purchased an A.C.of 1.5 tonne on 2nd may 2015 from patra electronic cuttack but it took three days for installation.The installation became defective and it took two days for making it operative.Now the vertical deflector of indoor unit is detached due to wrong installation. complaint was made to service centre at bhubaneswar over phone no.[protected] and [protected] two daysago but none of them receiving the call nor taking any step to make the ac operative. at present, the state of odisha is passing through a heat wave whereas the service centre at bhubaneswar is making the costumers of HITACHI frustrated which ZERO COSTUMER SERVICE. if this type of service continue from HITACHI company the costumer will certainly never prefer your brand. i hope the company will take notice of my complain. considering the pervasive situation of my and will help this costumer by providing speedy service. sincerly, dhaneswar mallick [protected]

          Have bought Hitachi split ac 5 days back.and it started dripping water inside the room an hour after its installation and the remote is not working as well.when called the customer care centre, they said the mechanic will visit today/ tomorrow. but no one come within these 5 days. i have called up many times but i get the false promise only .didn't expected such a service.pathetic experience.won't buy any other product from your company if this problem doesn't get solved on urgent basis. my complaint no is [protected]

            My name is Ritesh Ahuja and I lodged a complaint on the[protected], for no ice formation in my fridge, after which I called and followed up 7 more times for the complaint not being attended, I was assured that it would be done-up within 48 hours, today makes ten days and still the complaint has not been attended. This is the worst face of service, visible by a company like Hitachi, very sad.

(model # RMU023ENDZ1), with two indoor units and an outdoor unit, was getting tripped as soon as we turn the a.c. on. So we raised a service request with your team, and had them check on this. Initially, your team performed some checks and confirmed the issue to be with the compressor coil, so they informed us that they would be taking the Outdoor unit to your service center and have it repaired. It was promised to be delivered within a time span of max 5 days. Now that it has been more than 7 days since the unit was taken to your center, and moreover since your service engineers are much occupied to not even attend our calls as well, Im dropping this mail with a hope that atleast you might extend your help on this. The contact number given to us was :[protected], which only goes ringing and all thanks to your dedicated service, there was not response inspite of trying the call numerous time. I had the servicing and Gas changed on 20th May my reference number for the same i [protected], the ac is still not working properly we had made a call yesterday and again today to the vendor, but no response from him. The number was shared by the hitachi customer care servise. Request you to please look into the same. i dont understand what the issue is there with the services by your company.                       -I purchased the window AC of Hitachi last year in april and in this may 10 my AC stop working like no cooling because compressor dead. i make an complaint in hitachi on 12 may but still thr problem is same . every time called i got the same answer it will done today or tomorrow . but today and tomorrow never comes . yesterday i also talked in customer care on[protected] but still nothing happened . you can also call or talk to them just say [protected] rest they will provide all the details . they first answer you havent get any call from our technician . ok i will make a reminder tomorrow you havent any need to call from last 12 days i talk so many people like jagdish ashish manoj so many but issue is still the same . please help me oe guide what i ahve to do thanks and regards amit kumar [protected]

Ser No :[protected] Model no RV660PND3KX Hitachi Customer care:[protected].- Email: [protected]@hitachi-hli.com Purchased from Vijay Sales- Linking road, Khar West- Mumbai 400054.- Vijay sales customer care[protected] Complain: We have had frequent non cooling of the refrigerator compartments. We have made 3 complains to Hitachi customer care and they have attended on all occasions. A spare part below the freezer compartment has been renewed (after a long waiting period of more than a month). The complain numbers are [protected]/19th may 2015 [protected]/28th feb 2015 [protected]/12th feb 2015 From the first technician attendance, we observed heavy ice formation in the two fans in the freezer compartment. The icing blocks the blades and arrests its motion thereby blocking any transfer of cool air to the lower compartments. This problem of the fans getting iced up continues today in spite of the part renewal, as stated below. The part was renewed on 10th April 2015 after a long wait for which, due to a defective cooling, we have had to defrost the fridge every 10/15 days. The last attendance by Hitachi was on 21st May for icing on the freezer door. The technician attended and put some packing on the rubber seal, as he said sealing was not proper. We have to constantly defrost the fridge every 10 to 15 days to enable the ice to melt at the fan area. We cannot do this all the time. ### We now want a complete renewal of the product supplied, ie a replacement refrigerator . as evidence shows that this malfunction will continue post warranty period. ### Again, today we have had to defrost the unit due to a sound emitting from the freezer compartment, which by experience, now, we know it is due to icing on the fan blades of the two fans in the compartment rear. ### I request assistance in taking this matter up with the consumer courts if Hitachi does not come up with a fair solution. I am mailing this very text to Hitachi customer care as well as to their Management.

                          Hi, We have purchased windows 1.5 ton Hitachi - The so called "brand" for Air Conditioner. I must say forget the Air conditioner cooling - it doesn't even serve the purpose of an air cooler. The cooling is SUPER DISGUSTING. I have been trying to reach their customer care for long but NO RESPONSE ! Ridiculously sad, expensive and good for nothing ! We need our full money back - Voltas is way better.. with a value for money ! DO NOT EVER go for Hitachi ! Sapra's

                              DO NOT BUY HITACHI WINDOW AC. THE DAY I BOUGHT THE 1.5 TON QUADRICOOL MODEL, IT STARTED TO GIVE PROBLEMS. NO COOLING, COMPRESSOR WONT START. SERVICE ENGINEER SAID THE COMPRESSOR CEASED. THEY CLEARED THE CEASE AFTER GIVING A SHORT CIRCUIT TO COMPRESSOR. EVER SINCE THE AC IS CONSUMING 14-15 AMPS OF CURRENT WHEN NORMAL IS 11 AMPS. TWO TIME THE REAR MOTOR HAS FAILED AND I HAD TO REPLACE WITH NEW ONE AT INR 3000. NOW AGAIN AC IS NOT COOLING. THEY SAY ITS GAS LEAKAGE WHICH WILL COST INR 6000. EVEN WHEN THE AC USED TO RUN, THERE WAS VERY MINIMAL COOLING AFTER HOURS OF OPERATION.

                                    I had purchased Hitachi Window AC 5 star rating on 2012. They claim it has imported kit fitted. In last month April end 2015 suddenly AC makes noise. I call Hitachi engineer . after check AC, Hitachi engineer told that its DC motor fitted and my warranty expired and now fully motor will replaced with the cost 6300/- . What a Poor quality of motor which had defects within 4 year and can't be repair. ALL customer inform that DON'T BUY HITACHI PRDOCT. Anil

                                      Hello Team, I have bought Hitachi Ac Model No. RAU018ITEA from reliance digital in jan 2015.Top filter is damaged and I want to purchase the same.But when I called Hitachi customer care than it was told to me that reliance digital will provide. But reliance digital can not have the same.Also how as a consumer I can expect spare part from reliance. As a consumer I am ready to pay for it than what issue Hitachi facing to provide the same to consumer.as its 3 months i am following up with Hitachi, I expect an answer fromHitachi on this within one week otherwise the complete product is useless to me withought filter.I donot expect that as the brand name of Hitachi donot offer spare parts as otherwise it should be told to consumer in advance as its simply breaching trust of the consumer and unfair to consumer especially when the product is under warranty period.

                                        we had purchased a hitachi air conditioner in july 2014. lately in april, there was problem with the cooling so, before may 3, I had called the helpline [protected], I received excuses regarding how their server was down and they cannot file the service request. they asked me to call again in two hours, I wouldn't know what company does this, hold up the customer's request because their server was down. I requested them to atleast note down the details reagrding the service i was asking for, but when i called again it was evident that no such details were noted down. i filled in the request again and i was told that I will be receiving a call from them in 48 hours. I didnt get any call or message regarding that for more than 3 days. Since then i have been emailing them but they haven't replied to my emails. on May 15, their service man visited and said that gas of ac is low, it has to be refilled so he asked for the bill reciept. we were told that gas cannot be filled today so we will receive a call from hitachi regarding it on 16 or 17 at the most. since 15th of May, we havent received any such call. we are tired of calling their helpline again and again. there is no reply to the emails sent. This matter has been delayed since may 3 and we would like to lodge a complaint against Hitachi company for delay in service and ignorance towards a consumer's request of service. And this is not the first time, when I had requested service of ac in march, that time too I faced similar problem of hitachi company not replying back and thus delaying the service for 2 weeks. we would like the company's failure in providing services twice in a row to notice.
