I had purchased Hitachi Window AC 5 star rating on 2012. They claim it has imported kit fitted. In last month April end 2015 suddenly AC makes noise. I call Hitachi engineer . after check AC, Hitachi engineer told that its DC motor fitted and my warranty expired and now fully motor will replaced with the cost 6300/- . What a Poor quality of motor which had defects within 4 year and can't be repair. ALL customer inform that DON'T BUY HITACHI PRDOCT. Anil

    Hello Team, I have bought Hitachi Ac Model No. RAU018ITEA from reliance digital in jan 2015.Top filter is damaged and I want to purchase the same.But when I called Hitachi customer care than it was told to me that reliance digital will provide. But reliance digital can not have the same.Also how as a consumer I can expect spare part from reliance. As a consumer I am ready to pay for it than what issue Hitachi facing to provide the same to consumer.as its 3 months i am following up with Hitachi, I expect an answer fromHitachi on this within one week otherwise the complete product is useless to me withought filter.I donot expect that as the brand name of Hitachi donot offer spare parts as otherwise it should be told to consumer in advance as its simply breaching trust of the consumer and unfair to consumer especially when the product is under warranty period.

      we had purchased a hitachi air conditioner in july 2014. lately in april, there was problem with the cooling so, before may 3, I had called the helpline [protected], I received excuses regarding how their server was down and they cannot file the service request. they asked me to call again in two hours, I wouldn't know what company does this, hold up the customer's request because their server was down. I requested them to atleast note down the details reagrding the service i was asking for, but when i called again it was evident that no such details were noted down. i filled in the request again and i was told that I will be receiving a call from them in 48 hours. I didnt get any call or message regarding that for more than 3 days. Since then i have been emailing them but they haven't replied to my emails. on May 15, their service man visited and said that gas of ac is low, it has to be refilled so he asked for the bill reciept. we were told that gas cannot be filled today so we will receive a call from hitachi regarding it on 16 or 17 at the most. since 15th of May, we havent received any such call. we are tired of calling their helpline again and again. there is no reply to the emails sent. This matter has been delayed since may 3 and we would like to lodge a complaint against Hitachi company for delay in service and ignorance towards a consumer's request of service. And this is not the first time, when I had requested service of ac in march, that time too I faced similar problem of hitachi company not replying back and thus delaying the service for 2 weeks. we would like the company's failure in providing services twice in a row to notice.

        Respected Sir, I am an unfortunate customer of HITACHI & RA SALES (Vadodara), I had ordered a FOUR DOOR REFRIGERATOR model # R-W660PND3 GBW-BIG ENFRCH from R.A. SALES (Vadodara) on the 30th March 2015 costing around Rs. 94500/-, but received the Refrigerator after a delay of 23 days, the product was opened in the presence of a Hitachi Executive who came for DEMO and we found a BIG DENT near the compressor which could cause problem in the future, when I complained to R.A. SALES (Vadodara), they told me to inform the Hitachi Executive to write in the Field Call Report that a Damaged Piece was received, The RA SALES (Vadodara) executive (Mr. Dharmesh Nair) simply dumped the responsibility on Hitachi. Then I mailed to the Hitachi Customer Care and raised a service request on 27th April 2015 for the replacement of the Fridge. SERVICE REQUEST # [protected]. Till date the fridge has not been replaced, my fridge is lying in the corner and I am not able to utilize it. The Hitachi customer care is saying that they will replace it in a week, every week they are saying the same. its been around 2 months since I made payment and I am not able to use the Refrigerator, if I had placed the Rs. 94500/- in a bank for 2 months, I would have got a good amount of interest. Here I am at a loss of time and money and still not able to use the product. I would like to advise all the people not to buy any HITACHI products, and if they want to buy, please do not buy from RA Sales Vadodara. They did not even take a follow up of wether the fridge is replaced or not. HITACHI and RA Sales both have a very lousy Service record. They are all interested in selling the product, not in giving service. I am writing this to warn the people about HITACHI and RA Sales Vadodara. AMBRISH SADHU [protected]

          To Hitachi, I bought Hitachi Air Conditioner 1.5 ton 3 star Kaze Plus from Sanat Electronics that is Sangeet electronics in Borivali West, Mumbai. India on Saturday 9th May 2015 at 8.45pm. Then the dealer delivered me Ac on Sunday 10th May 2015 at 8.00pm at my home and then told me that Hitachi person will come from Hitachi Service center for installation next day. Which he was suppose to come on 11th May 2015. I also got request no. [protected] on my mobile on 11th May 2015. But no one came. Then again I contacted Sanat Electronics in Borivali West. They told that person will come next day on 12th May 2015. Again I got other request no. [protected] on 12th May 2015. But still I am waiting for that person to do installation. And now I got fedup and on 13th May 2015 I called Hitachi Service Center no.[protected]. They said me that our person will call me and come today, but still no one came at my home. What a worst service from Hitachi its unbelievable. They are not coming for just an installation then god knows how they will give me service in my warraty period. Then on 14th May 2015, person came at 1.30pm at my home. I was not at my home, my mom was available and she doesnt know anything about technology. They attached the ac and went away. Then in the evening when i came back home I came to know that my ac is starting directly on trip switch. It should start by pressing the remote ON button. That guys plugged ac adapter to my ac direct line. So again I am calling them from 16th May 2015 for this problem. Today is 19th May 2015, but I am getting no response from anyone not from the dealer and not from hitachi, just saying that person will come today since 16th May 2015. So I posted a complaint on facebook so that some higher authority person can read my post and do something for me. Hitachi service person is from some Aircon company.               After installation of new Hitaichi 1.5 ton split ac, model-1.5 ton split ac RAC318HUD the machine gives extra sound(noisy). I have already registered complaint on dt 24th april 2015 vide complaint no-[protected] of your service center.unfortunately till date none has attended from company side.

                your air conditioner installer named kashif from sector 14 gurgoan office came to install my ac. 1.5 week back he didnt install my ac properly and took 1700 rs for which didnt get any bill he gave me his number and called him many time from which he use to lie to me he is thug and lier and because of your employee i have to suffer i hae to sleep in hot weather in this summers being your loyal custome.. i m hoping a strict action against him or else i have to take a strict legal action against your comapny yours sincerly mahendri

                  i have a hitachi 42" lcd which requires a service when i called up helpline they were not just only rude but even denied to provide me the exact customer care number. They even insulted me and told me that do whatever you want. In this regard i would like to draw your attention towards the negligible and arrogant behaviour of the service provider. They did this with me and maybe many others are also dealing with the same problem. Sir i want you to take strict action against such a company who are not just only rude but are not worthy as a company.Sir, I want to register a case of Defamation against the comapny.                       Hi. I bought Hitachi AC and have registered for Service for the same. Its almost been 3 days there is no executive or the technician as I was facing problem with the AC. This is not the first time. Last time as well i had to complain at 4 times only then executive came. Also there is some fault with the AC but no one has come to address the issue. Pathetic service and poor product quality. Not at all satisfied with Hitachi. If company cares about their customers I dont think I would be writing this mail and asking them to come and fix my AC.

                        I am an owner of so called HITACHI A/C which i bought on may 2014 from Sargam Electronics.I got three free services from the company out of which i was served with the only ONE.I called the CC a number of times & been given the reference no for next two services but there is no workout on those ref no's.even for which i complained them too but even after my so many reminder calls my A/c is still pending for its servicing... My basic question is THAT IF COMPANY IS NOT LIABLE FOR MEETING SUCH HIGH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION THEN THEY SHOULD TEACH THEIR CC EXECUTIVES ALSO THE SAME THING. THERE ARE TWO REFERENCE NO [protected], ON THIS REF NO THERE IS NO CALL RECEIVED BY US & EVEN AFTER GIVING THE COMPLAINT WE RECEIVED ANOTHER REF NO WHICH IS [protected], & TO MY SHOCK I GOT THE SMS THAT IN COMPANY RECORDS MY COMPLAINT HAS BEEN RESOLVED WITHOUT DOING ANY WORK...' WOW...WHAT A BRAND HITACHI IS NOW I AM SUFFERING WITH THE GREAT BRAND POWER. WHOSOEVER TAKING THE COMPLAINTS CAN PLEASE TELL ME THAT WHAT SHUD I DO??????????? I NEED AN URGENT REVERT OTHERWISE FOR ME HITACHI LOST ITS DIGNITY ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION LEVEL.

                          Purchased a hitachi fridge in 2015. It was expensive compared to other brands. But i thought its a better product. And hitachi proved me wrong. Their service is icing on the cake. No other brand can beat them in bad service. The fridge stopped working in less then a year. A on calling customer care they bluntly for 2 days didnt take the request as their systems were not working. Finally wrote a mail then the complain got registered. Kept following up and writing mails but the call got attended after 6 days of registering it. That too due to continuous followups. Their technicians dont even bother to call before coming. Then after that everyday i have been given new stories as to why the faulty part is not replaced yet. I also wrote to the service head and executive directors but i think its a company policy to punish the fools who purchase their product. Anyway no one bothered to respond back.                             i have a hitachi 1.5 ton w/d ac, fev days ago my ac goes to dead..i give the complain to coustumer care. my ac in warranty ., technician has come to the same complain day .., and i paid rs 500 for the visit charge ., he said me your ac compreasure is dead., normal time 3 day i visit again and change your compresure ., now goes to 7 days for the copmlain day nobudy come here and no call ., i complain again but nobudy want to here my problem .., , is that a very bad service of hatachi company ., , i newer bought again hitachi product .., it is very bad experience, , .

                              Refer service req. no. [protected] (dt. 5.04.15), [protected](dt. 19.04.15), [protected] (dt. 1.05.15), and numerous reminders thereafter regarding breakdown of my AC. I am getting repeated mails that the problem has been addressed but in reality THE ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED YET. I can attach pics of the pcb your technicians had removed in their first and only visit, which they said needed to be changed. How can the AC possibly work with its pcb removed ??? Send some other technician to verify this issue as third party. I have made a dozen of calls to the service station at Asansol (West Bengal) for following up your technicians who seem to have gone on a deep slumber. Its really frustrating to wait for weeks for a simple replacement issue especially in this hot & humid place. Very poor after sales service from your support staff.

                                I called up service center for service engineer for removing ac but due to data lekage some one else posing as hitachi person came and did the job... when i asked for bill for the service charge i was advised it will come from service center... after following up with customer care and hitachi local center they accepted that it was data lekage and someone else came... but till date no word of action, appology and even bill for the service.. and now they won't even reply or look into the matter... a police case seems to be the last option for cheating posing threat to customer. ive email records... of

                                  We had ordered Hitachi 1 Ton 3 star Kaze Plus R ac through snapdeal. It was delivered on Apr 30. ( Customer name - Mrs. Chitralekha Ghos, 3/2A Garcha 1st lane. Flat no. 1 A, Ballygunge, Kolkata 700019) We had requested for installation of this ac thru the call center[protected] who intimated us that the charges would be Rs 550. Team from local Hitachi outlet at Kolkata came to install the ac on 05th May.. With regard to this my complaints are as under:- a. They refused to install a stabiliser saying that it was not required at all. Furthermore they advised the consumer to sell off the brand new stabiliser. b. They fitted the ac and asked for Rs 1950 as against Rs 550 mentioned by Hitachi Call Center. . Subsequently, I called up the Hitachi local centre at Kolkata ([protected]) who told me that it was a carpenter who had been sent to fit the ac and that's why he did not know how to install the stabiliser.He also said that if excess has been charged, it would be returned to the customer upon inspection.He said the technician team would go and give the demo and install the stabilizer also that day. ( which subsequently they did) (It must be noted that I had ordered the ac for my mother who resides alone in kolkata. (80 yr old lady). Now, firstly, it is highly preposterous that an excess of Rs.1400/- would be charged to install a window ac when the space for the same was already there. ( An Godrej AC 1 ton was already fitted in that space and later shifted as we wanted to fit the Hitachi ac there. And there is no difference in size between the they said two) Secondly, the "top " if reqd costs addl Rs. 100 as said by the people who has come to install. Even if they used some wood to close the gaps, its is just not believable that the ply and the wood cost Rs. 1300 /-deducting the cost of window ac installation of Rs. 550 and Rs. 100 for a top. In fact the space was already covered with ply which was used by them for fitment of Hitachi ac. When I spoke over the phone with the guys who installed it, they refused to give me any no. of their service center and ultimately when they gave, it was a landline no. which was out of order. They insisted on collecting the money of Rs. 1950/- from my mother and said since they have completed the work, she has to pay up. She being old and alone was unnecessarily harassed and paid up subsequently. My argument is 1. Why should the customer care say installation for window ac is Rs. 550? They should put in a clause of - "subject to space and materials used " ...and not mislead customers. 2. If addl materials were indeed reqd.they should have first informed the customer after inspecting the space that this much of addl amount would be charged and then if the customer gives the go-ahead, they should have further proceeded with the work and NOT AFTER installation and harass an old lady to pay up. I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behaviour with the Hitachi team and I would request you to look into this matter and resolve it at the earliest and return the excess amt charged to the customer. Furthermore, would take it up with e consumer forum if no action is taken to resolve this in 5 working days. It is a matter of cheating and harassment of an old lady and need to be resolved asap. Subsequently, I called up the Hitachi local centre at Kolkata ([protected]) who told me that it was a carpenter who had been sent to fit the ac and that's why he did not know how to install the stabiliser.He also said that if excess has been charged, it would be returned to the customer upon inspection.He said the technician team would go and give the demo and install the stabilizer also that day. ( which subsequently they did) (It must be noted that I had ordered the ac for my mother who resides alone in kolkata. (80 yr old lady). Now, firstly, it is highly preposterous that an excess of Rs.1400/- would be charged to install a window ac when the space for the same was already there. ( An Godrej AC 1 ton was already fitted in that space and later shifted as we wanted to fit the Hitachi ac there. And there is no difference in size between the they said two) Secondly, the "top " if reqd costs addl Rs. 100 as said by the people who has come to install. Even if they used some wood to close the gaps, its is just not believable that the ply and the wood cost Rs. 1300 /-deducting the cost of window ac installation of Rs. 550 and Rs. 100 for a top. When I spoke over the phone with the guys who installed it, they refused to give me any no. of their service center and ultimately when they gave, it was a landline no. which was out of order. They insisted on collecting the money of Rs. 1950/- from my mother and said since they have completed the work, she has to pay up. She being old and alone was unnecessarily harassed and paid up subsequently. My argument is 1. Why should the customer care say installation for window ac is Rs. 550? They should put in a clause of - "subject to space and materials used " ...and not mislead customers. 2. If addl materials were indeed reqd.they should have first informed the customer after inspecting the space that this much of addl amount would be charged and then if the customer gives the go-ahead, they should have further proceeded with the work and NOT AFTER installation and harass an old lady to pay up. I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behaviour with the Hitachi team and I would request you to look into this matter and resolve it at the earliest and return the excess amt charged to the customer. Furthermore, would take it up with e consumer forum if no action is taken to resolve this in 5 working days. It is a matter of cheating and harassment of an old lady and need to be resolved asap.                                         We had booked a 1.5 ton split ac on the 6th of April 2015. Full payment was made to Hitachi (Sony Mony Electronics, Borivali, Mumbai). The product delivered was faulty. However, Hitachi has noted the complaint only on 20th. This is full two weeks after having made the payment. Now the whole of April is come to an end and there is no sight of any delivery. How does Hitachi plan to address this issue? And what compensation can they provide? This is simply unacceptable. Moreover Hitachi service centre people at Goregaon do not even respond on the number provided ([protected]/[protected]).
