Hi, Just bought an Hitachi Ace Inverter AC (1.5 Ton) from SA Conditioning, Bopal, Ahmedabad. There should be a plastic or metal grill/mess to cover the outdoor unit compressor coils/fins, but that was not provided in the box. I have never seen any outdoor unit without this plastic or metal grill/mess. When I was trying to call Hitachi customer care number mentioned on their website nobody was responding on both numbers. I am having the worst experience on day one of my purchase as nobody is bothered to even receive my calls. Why you have mentioned numbers when no one has got time to at least receive a call...!!! Call us at:[protected]*,[protected] Some how I managed below mentioned details:- Head Office & Works Hitachi Complex, Karan Nagar Kadi Dist. Mehsana - 382727 Gujarat India Tel No. +[protected] When called on head office number even nobody replied on that number. Then again tried calling[protected], finally my call was received by someone "Sangeep Sen". I told him about my problem & he simply said I won't be able to take your complaint as system is down...!!! After a discussion of about 5 to 7 minutes I demanded Sangeep Sen to transfer my call to his senior or team leader. To my surprise he straight refused saying that no senior is available on this I lost my patience & yelled at him & threatened him that I will put all this on mail. Only after that he transferred my call to his team leader, now I was talking to Mr. Janardan. He apologised onbehalf of Sangeep Sen & again told me the same thing that he cannot register my complaint as system is down. I am not able to understand if a customer is buying such a costly product worth almost 53k to 54k, is this the kind of service one should expect from a brand like Hitachi...??? My point is why do you have call centers if most of the time your systems are DOWN??? Can't you have a standby Internet link for your call centers??? Why do a customer needs to suffer so much after spending money??? Again I yelled at Janardan & asked him why can't he register my complaint & why he is not having a provision of standby link. And I insisted that he should take my complaint now, only then he reacted & took my complaint. My complaint number is mentioned for your reference:- [protected] I had a nightmare when I switched ON my AC at night, my indoor unit of AC was having heavy water leakage. I am seriously not able to understand what's all going on!!! The person who came for installation has not done his job properly & so I have suffered entire night. Why can't you have properly trained & efficient technicians, who can complete their job properly??? I have sent a mail to Hitachi customer care last night, but nobody replied on that as well. Might be because Hitachi as a company is not really cares about its customers!!! Or due to MNC culture 5 working days, so on weekends customers are left suffering!!! Hitachi please change this customer unfriendly attitude...!!! I did lot of online surfing before buying this AC, I came across few very bad & negative feedback about Hitachi of a website "mouthshut.com" but still I thought that I will give it a try. Sorry to say but now I'm regretting my decision. Awaiting for quick action/response on this complaint mail.     I have a Hitachi Refrigerator since 2008. Few months back, the compressor gave away. After tremendous follow up, the compressor was replaced after 35 days of complaint. Since a week, as it appears, the new compressor has again failed. I am really amazed at the performance of Hitachi customer support group. I am based in Mathura, (UP). I am hopeful that Hitachi will at least respond to this complaint.

      Hi am using the 500GB harddisk form the Hitachi S/N 71GGLB8C my disk didnt read and i couldnot retriive my valuable information from this. so i would like to request you suggest me the ways how could i resolve this problem. The device when connected in compter shows the device connected in the USB Port but it doesnot load in the my computer. Pls provide me the assistance to get those datas from the device. Pls waiting for your response soon

        My 1st complaint for my ac which after doing is leaking and not working on complaint to dubeyji of trucul has not responded for last one week. My 2nd complaint for other ac has not been attended since 29 th of August .the information regarding completion of complaint has been sent by SMS when actually nobody attended.on repeated calls to call centre of hitachi sicnr last many days nobody has neither called or attended the complaint. Pl look into the matter on urgent basis since your service centre is not up to the mark and spoiling hitachis reputation I wish hitachi had proper service centres!!!

          I am having one 1.5 Ton split AC of Hitachi. On 01.09.14 I gave complaint to their customer care number ([protected]) regarding water seepage from the indoor unit of the AC (complaint no. [protected]). Next week nobody turned up. I again talked to their customer care number on 08.09.14. They told that they will take care. Nothing happened. On 10.09.14 I talked again to the customer care number. Same reply. Then I took the phone no. of Vizag Service Center from them for direct interaction. The agency is Hema Aircon Systems & Service (phone no. [protected]). When I contacted them, they denied receiving the complaint from the service center. On my insistence they checked their record and found it. I was told that the mechanic will be coming shortly. Yesterday and today I am waiting for the mechanic, but nobody has turned up. Even they are not lifting my phone. I donot know how I can solve my problem. If this is the service condition, I cannot buy Hitachi AC afterwards.

            I made a AC service request ([protected]) on 22.08.14, which remain unattended till 05.09.14 on sending an email the same day I received a call from there authorised dealer in Vadodara Rg's that the request will get attended by 06.09.14 following which I received a message from Hitachi that the service request is closed, however no service was provided on 06.09.14 and on showing displeasure I was told by dealer arrogantly that have your service attended by Hitachi only, I made a second service request ([protected]) same day and again I received a message on 09.09.14 that the service request is closed and the fact remain is it is still unattended, today I have made a third service request ([protected]) in the morning and I am still to receive a call. My name is Varun Agarwal, 24 year of age boy, who just started his small business in Bulandshahar city (State – Uttar Pradesh). Through media ads, I come to know about the brand of Hitachi, a Japanese company. We, Indian, have the perception that Japanese make best electronic goods in the world. With this perception, I bought one (1nos.) Hitachi AC 2ton split (RAU 223 HUD, SE-140C32314) vide Invoice No. 654 dated 09 May 2014 (copy attached) from the authorized vendor“Goyal Refrigeration Pvt. Ltd.”, (CIN: U51395UP1995PTC019095) address – opposite Nagar Palika, Bulandshahar, Telephone No. –[protected], Mobile – [protected]. Installation was done by Hitachi team within 7 days after the purchase. After installation, AC worked fine only for 20 days and since then it started creating problem and stopped the cooling. I made approx. 7 complaints to Hitachi Customer Service center but still the problem is unresolved. Service person visited my place more than 5 times but he was not able to fix the problem. Just for reference, followings are complaint numbers – 1.[protected] -12 JUNE 2.[protected] -14 JUNE 3. [protected] - 6 JULY 4. [protected] -10 JULY 5. [protected] - 1 AUGUST After spending a good amount of Rs. 57, 000/- approx (AC, Stabilizer and installation), during the whole summer, I was literally fighting with the summer heat. Due to non-working AC, my business also affected very badly. Nothing worse could happen to me. It is a nightmare for a person who just started his business. I am forced to bring these facts to the notice of Managing Director of Hitachi India as I have the feeling (after making regress follow-ups with service center) that only the TOP management personnel will listen to the customer problem. I wish to add that I am aware with the Code of Conduct of Hitachi Global which states – 1.1 Provision of Safe High-Quality Products and Services (1) We will satisfy customer needs and specifications. We will not only obey quality, safety and environmental laws and standards, but also set our own voluntary standards when necessary to ensure the quality of our products and services. We will strive to guarantee safety and realize the goal of zero product defects so that customers can use our products and services with a sense of security. (2) We will respond quickly and sincerely to defects and customer complaints, and strive to determine the causes and implement thorough measures to prevent recurrence. (3) We will construct and administer appropriate quality management systems. Sir, I, Varun Agarwal, would like to ask a simple question – Did I make a wrong choice of buying a Hitachi Product? Was my decision was wrong? I believed on the Brand “Hitachi”, a Company with the capital of 458, 790 million yen with 320, 725 consolidated no. of employee which talks to follows such high code of conduct and professional ethics under the guidance of Mr. Toshiaki Higashihara (Representative Executive Officer and President & COO). Sir, I have suffered a lot, three months has been passed since I am in follow up with Hitachi Service Center. My true feed back to you is that in my small life, I have not seen such bad services from any company. This is my first complaint in writing to the company. I will not talk about my rights available under “Honorable Consumer Court” and under “Competition Commission of India” as still I have last hope from you. I urge you to kindly advise the resolution of my problem. The last question, please think, will the resolution now, would be able to bring the 3 months business season period which has gone and the business opportunity which I have lost?                 I had purchased Hitachi refrigerator with unit serial number [protected]. Registered mobile number being [protected]. My first complain was registered around June second week for the problem. Unskilled technicians from the Chennai branch had visited us and taken the fridge for one week to their workshop telling gas leakage. I got the fridge and the problem still continued, so raised repeated complains and sent mails to the customer care department. Till date the problem is not solved. Every time a technician comes and says this spare is to be replaced and charges the bill on me. The following are the list of bills: 7th June 2014 - Bill No. 25731 10th Juny 2014 - Bill No. 26495 and 26496 30th July 2014 - Bill No. 27116 13th Aug 2014 - Bill No. 27677 In spite of repeated complains till date the problem is not solved. They have been changing the spares on trial and error basis and charging the amount on me. I have already paid almost 5-6K regarding this issue. Request you to kindly get the complain resolved.

                  Hi, I bought a brand new Hitachi Refrigerator on the 9th of May 2014 (Model: SG37BPND GS). This hitachi product is registered under the name of Mr. Navneet Gupta (Contact No. [protected]). I have filed repeated complaints to the hitachi customer care. Over a span of 5 months. I have repeatedly had several "senior" technician come and "fix" the issue which resulted in no improvement of the refrigerator's cooling. The produce we store keeps getting spoilt and the company does not acknowledge our claim for a replacement on the item. I come here in great dispair as I was expecting a much better service from the product as well as the company itself.                     Filed a complaint for non cooling of my concealed split ac 2 ton. From hitachi no body responded but I got a call from mr Dubey who was from trucul inc d48 sec 10 noida that he is from hitachi and he has been given the job .so he started the work .he said that the cooling coil needs to be changed asked for Rs 7500 for the same then probably he repaired the old coil and fixed it. By this time I realised that I am being cheated by this company. He made me talk to mr Manish from hitachi pl check anybody working by this name. So final thing is that I have been cheated in the name of hitachi.. Kindly some action needs to be taken at your end so that the service centre people do not make extra money in the name of hitachi. I believe the cooiling coil does not cost more than 5000. Here I am overcharged in the name of hitachi . Can you pl send me a photo of new coil so that I can compare to how much extent I have been cheated!!!

                      Hitachi is one the over charged company for service there person don't have sense to talk with customer and Hitachi want to become milliner in one day they don't want o keep customer retionship.one one of the worst company in service over charged product and services...dont buy it better to go for some other A/C those who have good service support and good manners with customers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

                        Dear All, I purchased a brand new hitachi window airconditioner yesterday i.e. on 24th August 2014 and upon installation it was found that it had a manufacturing defect of its motor getting switched off after 10 minutes of working automatically. I had lodged a complaint to the hitachi customer care yesterday itself and am yet to get a revert on the same. The unit was 1.5 Ton Window ac Kaze plus purchased from Krishna nagar showroom.                           Hi had bought a hitachi split air conditioner in april 2014 and it worked fine for 3 months . I had complained hitachi for cooling problem in my air conditioner on 24th july . A technician came and told me that there was a problem in the motor and it needs to be replaced. He didnt commit about the time needed for replacement.
                          I wrote several mails to hitachi about my ac and they just replied " your problem will be solved shortly ".
                          Till date i have no update on my problem .

                          I had to get a new a/c installed because of this problem.
                          The hitachi a/c is lying unrepaired till today.

                          Hitachi has very low quality products.

                            Dear Team I request you to please register my complaint regarding my Hitachi Window Airconditioner, purchased in Feb 2014. Since the AC was started in April 2014, there is a problem in the Airconditioner, always there is a cracking sound in it. The complaint was done and the Engineer came and said that the Thermacol is Loose and i have applied the Tape. Again after a day the noise started coming I again registered my complaint and then the Engineer came and said that the fan was loose & I have tighten the same. After a day again the noise again started coming and till that time when yesterday the noise worsen, today i registered my complaint again with No. [protected].                               We have bought Hitachi Split AC on june 2014. Within a 2 month we are facing the issue of water leakage and ac is not working at all. Dealer telling that its now company responsibility and hitachi customer care is not responding well. After logging complaint their is no technician come till now.                                 We have bought Hitachi Split AC on oct.2012.Last 9 Months Water leakage and Ice dropping in the ac unit occured.After water wash of that unit problem started.After a repeated follow up with service centres, They diagonise that Gas was empty and the cost has to beared by us.Since their improper diagonise of the unit the problem was happened.We are verymuch frustrated and depressed.

                                  my hitachi ac remote was not functioning i registered a complaint with the hitachi the complaint no is [protected].after a week a service technician came he reset the remote and it started working..then the technician said the gas is less.i am a marine engnr n i hav knowledge abt refrigration system. isaid just looking at the fins hw cud u say lik that. u reduce the temp in remote n showe me.then he did something n fuse got blown n he said nw u hav to change the pcb.i said u countinously pressed the instant start button after tht only the fuse blown.he said he will come 2mrow n see he never came.i called service center n hitachi many time n found no response.ma no.[protected]

                                    What I have faced is a clear indication of companies trying to save money by hiring stupid people as technicians who have no knowledge of work assigned to them. I bought a 1.5 ton window AC of Hitachi make in the month of February 2012. The same was installed by technicians sent by hitachi (Monu +91 [protected]). He did not remove the stopper from the outlet meant to drain water that accumulates on the AC floor. Post that twice the same was serviced by Hitachi Technicians on different times who still did not remove the stopper. In the end what happens, with just 1 big rain the entire floor of AC was flooded thereby water seeping in on the circuit and the DC fan and thereby both shorted out. And since the AC was out of warranty Hitachi was charging a whopping 500/- just to visit. Local mechanics repaired the same in 10 days (difficult to find parts and repairing the complicated circuits ). Set back of 6000/- to my wallet. High time the government brings about some rules to control such stupid companies from coming to India. PLEASE NEVER BUY A HITACHI.

                                      Hello This is regarding request number [protected] I raised on 21st July 2014.The problem is gas leakage due to which cooling is not proper and there is some problem in display settings due to which my iclean is also not working. I have a split ac 1.5 ton and the model is iclean one. Now I would like to bring your attention to few things, I bought this split ac last year probably in october- november and hardly used it for a month. Then in 2014 summers came and we started using the spilt ac and realised that there was a gas leakage since last summer and the same was rectified in May 2014.I have raised so many complaints with this split ac be it gas leakage or display issue or some internal part technical problem or due to cooling issue.You can check your database and see how many complaints I have registered for one split .Now again I have a gas leakage in my split ac and its been lingered on from 2 days.This is second time the person has got the wrong gas since the last request raised.Its really frustrating to register complaints again and again. We spent 50k on this ac and right now we getting prompt services in warranty and once the warranty finishes i doubt i would get such prompt services.I want my split ac to be replaced with a new model and with an extended warranty for an year.Failure in any such action will result in a complaint in consumer court.                                         comp. no [protected] dated 12.07.14 has not been resolved yet<22.07.14> despite of many calls. it shoes very bad service of hitachi and i will spread it by social network that not to buy any hitachi product. i purchased an ace inverter ac few days ago and its cooling is not proper fron very first day. kindly resolve my problum either i will throw it away.

                                        It is very bad experience in Hitachi, pls resolve my problm ASAP
                                        N hire some good technicians so that they atleast understand d problm in product.
                                        N even they are not answering a single call n not even tell when they will resolve the problm..
