i bought a hitachi window a.c model no.RAW511KUD in april2014 and just after one month i am facing problems with it of excessive noise and no cooling i lodged the complaints twice with the company with my registration no.[protected] and[protected] on 8 june and 12june respectively, servicemen came and said that there is a problem with the compressor and all the gas got leaked, also that there was a copper wire attached to it which caused excessive noise, and that the unit is taking less amperes i.e 3.2 than the required 5ampere. just a one month ago a.c and how come its gas got leaked, i asked the company to get my unit changed as they were not able to assure me that if this unit got repaired it would work properly, but till now i got no response from them. they even closed down my request without my consent as i had refused to sign that my query has been solved.in this sizzling summer of delhi i am not even able to use my a.c such a bizzare.

    i am ankit garg from kaithal(Haryana). i had purchased new "hitachi ace invertor 2ton" from modern electronics kaithal haryana.from the first day of installation the machine is not working. i had complained three times on the hitachi customer care number. they said within 48 hours the complaint will be resolved and their engineers didnt even come till today after 12 days of complaining. Sir please look into the matter and relie[censored]s from suffering..and take every hard action against HITACHI india.my contact number is [protected].

    Sir i have purchased new hitchi ac 1.5 tonn ac kazi my ac not giving cooling properly it auto dis connect and stop after complaint 15 DAYS AFTER SERVICEman came and he said your ac has no problem he said to my mother but after seven days it problem same so i have totally frusted to call again and waiting again for 15 days so please help me .       The 73 Nos 1.5 TR Capacity Split AC units are purchased through DGS&D vide invoice number 8328 and 8329 Dated 19.07.2013. The Free Servicing of Split AC units and replacement of 10 Nos Faulty compressors are still to be replaced by company. The complaint is already registered through voice mail. So please doo needful so the services of Telephone Exchanges not affected Badly.

        I am pretty much frustrated with the after sales support of Hitachi. despite the repeated complaint's I am still struggling with the compressor problem of my AC. after calling up the customer care daily engineer visited after 7 days & was not able to resolve my compressor problem. My compliant numbers are [protected], [protected] can any one guide me how to move forward & share the escalation matrix or the forum where I can raise my concerns.           Respected sir/ma'am, I am Aditya Chanana, a student of class tenth. I am writing this email to you regarding the series of problems I am facing with my Hitachi air conditioner which was purchased on 10th April, 2012. The details of the air conditioner are as follows... Model No.: Hitachi Summer QC RAV518ESD (as on invoice) As soon as the air conditioner completed one year, it started to make high levels of noise, This noise has existed since the first service by Hitachi within the warranty period! The noise, with passage of time, aggravated, started becoming very loud and finally culminated into the "E9" error. When the engineer came to examine the AC, I was told that the DC motor needed replacement, which would cost me Rs. 7000, an amount a third of the actual cost of the AC! He also discovered that moisture had entered the cable that connected to the main control unit. When I complained about this to Hitachi, instead of replacing my defective AC, they instead tried to temporarily repair the motor to make the AC work, and stuck a cello-tape over the cable to prevent moisture from entering it. I was completely unsatisfied since the AC retained its high level of noise and now had reduced amount of cooling as well. I feel that I had received a third-class repair from such a reputed company. Now, this year, the cooling reduced even further and the noise increased ten-fold. Since I have an AMC with Hitachi, the engineer came and again tried to temporarily fix the problem by servicing the AC again which was done just last month, but the problem retained. He told me that it's due to the compressor and it is normal for it to exist, which was astonishing to hear. And now, yet again, the AC stopped working at all, and the display also didn't show anything. Once again I contacted Hitachi, and I was told that now the PCB and the display have been impaired, and will be needing replacement. One by one, each and every part of the AC is failing. Hitachi looks like its in no mood to permanently resolve the problem and wants to keep it lingering. Hitachi is a brand which is well-known and trusted over the world. I bought a Hitachi AC with this trust. Now, I doubt the quality and durability which Hitachi claims to instil in its products. I believe that customer satisfaction should be the first concern of Hitachi, products should have high quality and durability. If such high priced appliances wear out in a matter of one year, then how can one trust Hitachi? All the ACs in the market have an average life of at least 5-10 years and if this is the status of the AC in such a short time, then I am horrified by wondering what would happen in the following years. I feel being cheated by Hitachi, being sold a defective product. I am very upset by Hitachi. I have been a given a poor, third quality product that has such a short life. I feel that Hitachi is making a fool of its customers and ruining its image. In the future, I will never recommend anyone to buy a product from Hitachi. Being a part of the Gen Y, I believe that you should take the uttermost care so that Hitachi remains a name of quality among us.

          I bought 3 Hitachi RAV518ERD window airconditioners in Aug 2011.
          They were very sparingly used (only on summer nights)
          One of the units failed last month (E9 error) and I contacted Hitachi service.
          Their service engineer diagnosed the problem as DC motor failure.
          Estimated replacement and service charges - Rs 10, 500!!!

          If this is the cost of spare parts one must seriously think about buying a Hitachi product as the cost of ownership (in addition to the premium price you pay for their product) completely negates the higher power efficiency of their AC units.

          My advice to all potential buyers - Think twice before buying HITACHI products

            They might be saying that in India, Hitachi is now best selling ACs but my experience with them after sale service is extremely pathetic. I mean I am so much frustrated with their service that if I could get a chance I would give a very tight slap to Hitachi's Service center guys.

            If anyone is reading this comment, believe me, I am Hitachi's customer from past 3 years, but getting a service request completed and specifically getting an AMC request fulfilled form them is like pain in a**. I am following them since past 1 month but till date no one yet responsed to me except a reply that "We are looking into this".

            Please don't go to Hitachi as they might be selling very good AC but their is no point in purchasing them because they are not going to give you any after sale Service.

                i have purchased a Hitachi compa 1.5 ton 318hudd model split ac on 17 th may 2014.after installation ac is not run, then i call Hitachi service, but they come to my house 6-7 days letter and run the ac.after 10-12 days run the ac very good, but again stop.agin i call service they come again after 3 days letter, change the pcb.but now problem is this ac run for a hour and stop.then i again call to service, but they told me service engineer come after 3-4 days letter.but it is too let, .i have suffering this problem from very beganing on this product .so i request plz take a solid step to solve my problem...i feel very unhappy with this product...

                  This is one of the worst customer service I have seen in my life. I have made hundreds of calls to the customer care but every time they say that the technician will visit today and nothing happens. If you believe in word of mouth publicity I am sure the days are not far when no body will care to buy Hitachi and I will make sure that I am one of the contributors.

                    Its not even two years that we purchased two AC of 1.5 ton and 1 ton worth 55K. In this hot weather its not working . Its getting dripped, Complained has already been registered but nobody is paying attention to send representative .The company is only after making money, customer satisfaction is a 0 value or them. Company should deserve to stop as they are playing with customers and paying no attention. Product which has not even completed its one year is getting dripped. Hell this company and repending why didn't we go for OGeneral.

                      I had bought a Hitachi window air conditioner on 5th june 2014 from SUPERELECTRONICS PVT LTD (VIKASPURI) .

                      Since there was no call from the service team regarding the demonstration, so I called them up for the same.
                      The demo guy came on the third day, ie, 11th june 2014 at 5 pm .
                      The demo guy's NAME - ASHOK KUMAR, PH # [protected]
                      He was in a rush as soon as he entered and even while he was demonstrating .
                      When i asked him to repeat one thing(regarding the ac modes), he was very rude at it.
                      Asking about some technical thing, his answer was very much misleading on which I called up my dad who came in and confirmed it too . On getting his thing proved wrong, his behaviour started to turn offensive .
                      HE LEFT THE FRONT PANEL OPEN ALONG WITH THE FILTER AND RUSHED OUT OF HOUSE (since by then i had signed the form) . As i ran before him and asked about his contact details( and the details of his supervisor), his exact words were " MERE GHAR KA ADDRESS LE LO, JO KARNA HO KAR LO " (meaning - make note of my house's address and do whatever you can) which was some A block ganesh nagar .
                      And soon he rushed off on his Honda Eterno .
                      I have installed 2 other Hitachi's air conditioners at the same address in the past and my experience has been adequately satisfying .
                      But unfortunately, this time it was extremely bad, solely because of the behaviour of the service guy ( ASHOK KUMAR), which is not expected from such a reputed company .
                      The worst part of it is, the attitude of the employee, which showed that he has nobody to supervise him or correct him and he can do whatever he wants to, which is something not expected from hitachi ( and which needs to be corrected right away) .
                      I am very much shocked by this experience and expect Hitachi to take serious action against this right away in order to maintain its such a good reputation.

                        To whomsoever it may concern, This is regarding the incapable after services of Hitachi Air Conditioners. I had purchased an air-conditioner last year and it needed servicing. On calling hitachi i was told that since i had bought it from some dealer, they can't really help us and we will have to call the dealer. And the dealer is highly not interested in any of the consumer complaints. It is utterly and disgustingly disappointing to know that your company is nothing but a pile of garbage talkers who do not care even one bit about their customers who have spent money on buying your products. It’s been over a month that I am trying to get an AC fixed at my home and you guys are being completely impotent about solving it. If you cannot provide services then at least stop selling products instead of harassing people with your incapability and foolish customer care so-called helpline. This is the LAST WARNING to let you guys know that I have been harassed enough for trying to only get an AC fixed.                             I had a very pathetic customer care experience at Hitachi. I lodged a service request on 5th June [protected] for compressor problem and this was attended on 6th june. The technician ( Vikram [protected]) told me that for one month you can call him if the problem persist, however the problem was not resolved and when i called the technician he said that call the customer care??? .i again called customer care on 6th evening for resolution and was told that this would be resolved with no need for a new service request. On the contrary i received a message on 8th that the service request is closed???? i again called at customer care to tell that the issue is unresolved and they asked me to raise a new service????? I raised a new request with [protected]. Now the technician throw water on the compressor and tells us that it is due to heat outside and there is no solution to this problem???????? When i ask that i want to speak to customer service manager i get the following feedback: 1. The escalation desk work for 10-7 Pm only 2. The call cannot be transferred from the customer care. 3. Dial 4 after calling the customer care number (which is making fool of the customer as after dialing 4 you reach the complain status desk.) Why Hitachi does not want its customers to speak to customer care manager????? I feel sorry that i purchased a Hitachi product and will never recommend anyone for buying a Hitachi product, if this is the service level of Hitachi i dont think you really care about your customers.

                              i purchased hitachi sugoi 1.5 ton air conditioner from sargam electronics laxmi nagar delhi in first week of may 2014. on 05/06/2014 the ac stopped cooling. i lodged complaint on there call center no.[protected] same day and they promised engineer will come in 48hrs. but today 5 days past till no one showed up and call centre people saying sorry they will get the complaint attended asap. i purchased one of the most expensive air conditioner in market but with such a service i wont recommend anybody to go with HITACHI AC.

                                So many times i have filed a complaint to customer care but nothing has been done till yet. My window A.C-1.5TR HITACHI SUMMER TM - RAT518ESD is still having problem. Recently the fan motors and P.V.C have been changed but still I am facing the problem. I have come to know that this problem was faced by many costumers and the company had given them the motors free of cost to the consumers so why did they charge from me. After giving the money I am still facing the problem, I even phoned customer care so many times but they haven't done anything. If strict action is not taken then I will file a complaint against Hitachi to consumer forum.

                                  I have lodged a complaint against your AC on 8th June and today the pathetic people ( from no where they looked like technicians, eating Tobacco and misbehaving with us ) . Ac is not getting lower than 32 ( minimum to minimum it gets to 30 ) Not below that ! Also, I am intelligent enough to try everything possible after reading your user manual. I am posting my complaints all over the social media and also at the consumer forums. The service people that came where no technicians as they were continuously fighting by saying that the windows AC panel is showing 33 which means it is the roam temperature, we know that and we are also complaining about the same thing that it never reduces. Also, the water never drains out of the AC . There seems to be some sort of an issue for sure. If these kind of people will come than I am sure the issue would never be resolved.

                                    I have purchased 1 ton Hitachi Window AC( Serial No. 080C02041) from Golden Refrigeration Co. dated 09.04.2008 by Invoice No.-32(Challan No. 827).The compressor of my AC is not working since May'2013.I have lodged numerous complaint against this in Golden Refrigeration Co. and in Hitachi Customer Care.My first complaint was made on 08.05.2013 via Docket No.-D080506.But there was no response to my complaint.Infact after calling again to see the status of my complaint the response which I got was more humilating.They said said they dont have time to resolve my AC problem.Since then I am only getting several docket numbers but no resolution to my complaint.The last complaint which I made was on 21.05.2014 in both Hitachi Customer Care (Docket No.-[protected]) and Golden Refrigeration Co. (Docket No.[protected].I again got the same reply that they dont have time to resolve my problem and I have to wait for the infinite period as my AC is not in AMC. Further the challan No. printed on my Invoice is 827 and material was supplied by Challan No 819 which is even more shocking. I want an immidiate action regarding this matter as this type of service from a AC company is not at all bearable. Further, I am providing you all neccesary details below along with the photocopy of my AC bill. :- Purchased from - Golden Refrigeration Co.                                       I have Hitachi Refrigerator with model no.R-Z470END9KX... I have registered for the complaint(no.[protected]) on Saturday 31st May 2014 and the person ([protected]) 'krishan pal' come on[protected]first call on 2-6-2014 given excuse we can't come after 6). I have problem with the service and the way of service they are giving. Unprofessional!!! 1) In the service center, no one is there to give service before 9 and after 6...what the hell is this. What the office people will do if no one is there at home to attend service person. 2) The complaint found in my refrigerator is with 'air ventilation'. Which the person got to know after first glance. He still has not opened the body. Because the problem was not exist. So he may not needed. But after saying many times by my husband he opened. But nothing is there to be checked. After that he asked for visiting charge which they have set [B][U]500[/U][/B] . And we have to give. But if nothing has been done. Just for his viewing they have charged this much. Why the customer care never give such support online/telephonic. They should listen for the problem first and before sending service person they should rectify on their behalf or give assistance telephonic. Few things can be managed after sharing few knowledge. But if you want to rip off consumers then there is no point. At last I just want to say a middle class family could not afford nonnegotiable visiting charges. It should be avoided if no service needed against product. Many company does such things they won't take money if the problem not exist but with Hitachi as the name high takes too much of money from consumer. Please do something for our rights.                                         I lodged a service complain for my refrigerator on 24th May, 14 vide request no [protected]. It was out of warranty service means paid service . the complain not yet attended till writing of this report. Today is the 7th day. T heir service personnels are hard to contact. no one picks up your phone. You can be successful after many attempts. Their corporate office is no good . I could not contact any body on the phone nos given on their site. this is their corporate office. I feel the company carries a big Japanese name but in India their services and customer care are awefully hopeless. Quality of products and services are not upto the mark of the name of the Company. I think Hitachi is cheating Indian Public . I was going through this complain portal. I think the parent company is also not seeing the message how their customers are dissatisfied lot in INDIA. This message may be forwarded to the parent company in Japan.

WE HAVE NEVER FACES SUCH A HARASSMENT FROM ANY COMPANY FOR A SERVICE... BECAUSE OF YOU ALL WE HAD TO MISS OUR OFFICE ALSO AS EVERYDAY WE WERE BEING INFORMED BY YOUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE THAT THE TECHNICIAN WILL COME TOMORROW... AND EVERTING WAS A LIE...
