I have purchased 1 ton Hitachi Window AC( Serial No. 080C02041) from Golden Refrigeration Co. dated 09.04.2008 by Invoice No.-32(Challan No. 827).The compressor of my AC is not working since May'2013.I have lodged numerous complaint against this in Golden Refrigeration Co. and in Hitachi Customer Care.My first complaint was made on 08.05.2013 via Docket No.-D080506.But there was no response to my complaint.Infact after calling again to see the status of my complaint the response which I got was more humilating.They said said they dont have time to resolve my AC problem.Since then I am only getting several docket numbers but no resolution to my complaint.The last complaint which I made was on 21.05.2014 in both Hitachi Customer Care (Docket No.-[protected]) and Golden Refrigeration Co. (Docket No.[protected].I again got the same reply that they dont have time to resolve my problem and I have to wait for the infinite period as my AC is not in AMC. Further the challan No. printed on my Invoice is 827 and material was supplied by Challan No 819 which is even more shocking. I want an immidiate action regarding this matter as this type of service from a AC company is not at all bearable. Further, I am providing you all neccesary details below along with the photocopy of my AC bill. :- Purchased from - Golden Refrigeration Co.     I have Hitachi Refrigerator with model no.R-Z470END9KX... I have registered for the complaint(no.[protected]) on Saturday 31st May 2014 and the person ([protected]) 'krishan pal' come on[protected]first call on 2-6-2014 given excuse we can't come after 6). I have problem with the service and the way of service they are giving. Unprofessional!!! 1) In the service center, no one is there to give service before 9 and after 6...what the hell is this. What the office people will do if no one is there at home to attend service person. 2) The complaint found in my refrigerator is with 'air ventilation'. Which the person got to know after first glance. He still has not opened the body. Because the problem was not exist. So he may not needed. But after saying many times by my husband he opened. But nothing is there to be checked. After that he asked for visiting charge which they have set [B][U]500[/U][/B] . And we have to give. But if nothing has been done. Just for his viewing they have charged this much. Why the customer care never give such support online/telephonic. They should listen for the problem first and before sending service person they should rectify on their behalf or give assistance telephonic. Few things can be managed after sharing few knowledge. But if you want to rip off consumers then there is no point. At last I just want to say a middle class family could not afford nonnegotiable visiting charges. It should be avoided if no service needed against product. Many company does such things they won't take money if the problem not exist but with Hitachi as the name high takes too much of money from consumer. Please do something for our rights.       I lodged a service complain for my refrigerator on 24th May, 14 vide request no [protected]. It was out of warranty service means paid service . the complain not yet attended till writing of this report. Today is the 7th day. T heir service personnels are hard to contact. no one picks up your phone. You can be successful after many attempts. Their corporate office is no good . I could not contact any body on the phone nos given on their site. this is their corporate office. I feel the company carries a big Japanese name but in India their services and customer care are awefully hopeless. Quality of products and services are not upto the mark of the name of the Company. I think Hitachi is cheating Indian Public . I was going through this complain portal. I think the parent company is also not seeing the message how their customers are dissatisfied lot in INDIA. This message may be forwarded to the parent company in Japan.

      We have not even received a Courtesy call from any of your employee saying that they are not being able to come or they will come on this Or that date...


      WE WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND HITACHI TO ANYONE OR WOULD NEVER EVER PLAN TO BUY A NEW HITACHI... WE HAVE NEVER FACES SUCH A HARASSMENT FROM ANY COMPANY FOR A SERVICE... BECAUSE OF YOU ALL WE HAD TO MISS OUR OFFICE ALSO AS EVERYDAY WE WERE BEING INFORMED BY YOUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE THAT THE TECHNICIAN WILL COME TOMORROW... AND EVERTING WAS A LIE...


      HITACHI IS A BIG CHEATER & FRAUD ... WHO JUST KNOWS HOW TO LIE TO CUSTOMERS AND FOOL THEM AND TO HARASS THE CLIENTS...

        I, Saswata Samanta, resident of 50/3/2 Thakur Ramkrishna Lane, Howrah - 711104, brought one Hitachi Split AC from Great Eastern Kolkata against Invoice Number : DH/SA/1415/00166 on 05-APR-2014.

        The specification of the machine is as below.

        I-Clean model : RAC 514 ITDA / 1.2 Ton.
        M/C Serial No : SE-[protected]/130C16339 (As written by the Installer in the warranty book)

        The AC was installed on 09-APR-2014, while I was not present at home and my wife attended. The behaviour of the persons were very rough and were in absolute hurry. In the evening, I noticed that the parallel swing flap is not moving and it is dismounted from one side. I lodge a complaint immediately and the customer care said that within 24 hours the mechanic will come and the problem will be resolved.

        After three days one knavish person came, tried to mount that flap with a tricky and rough way within the small gap between vertical and parallel flaps. I requested him to open the total front cabinet of the AC before he tried so that the things become easier.
        But the person did not listen, broke another parts of AC in front portion, with his arm pressure broke the curtain channel of my room, ultimately failed to do the actual work that is mount the parallel flap. He ultimately suggested me to use some feviquick like gum to join the broken parts of AC with my own.

        I again informed the total matter to the customer care and they informed me that within very few days one better mechanic will come and the broken parts will be replaced.

        But, still today no action is taken from their side and my brand new machine is in same broken condition. I want those broken parts to be replaced immediately. Please assist me.

        Still the problem is in same condition. No person from Hitachi customer care responded. The machine parts are running with the broken parts. Just 6 months warranty I have. After that they will try to process the situation other way around. Kindly do the needful.

          Hi This is A Hitachi Split AC customer from Chennai. I had renewed a PMC on 26th july 2013, Bill number 18698. There has not been a Single phone call from their side or a visit to my home ever since the payment was made. The pathetic part is a NIL response after myself having called them 3 or 4 times .. I wish my complaint is taken seriously and I would need a countermeasure of service done to the Split AC immediately and also I would want the PMC to be re dated to one more year from the day they do this service.

            I have lodged request for my Air Condition on 20.05.20104 and I was said that the technician will call u up but I didn't received any call so across I again requested on 22.05.2014 again the customer care executive said the same memorised words but to no avail I again called up but to my surprise to date no calls have been received by me. So it seems to me that the Hitachi people are not service oriented as this is not the first time as such recently i purchased Samsung AC and i m getting wonderful service also i suggested my freinds & relatives not to buy your product instead go for LG or Samsung.               My split a/c is not working since 18.05.2014. The matter was complained on 18.05.2014 and the complain docket no.is [protected]. But till date there is no response for repairing though I repeatedly enquired (negotiated 4 times) till now.                 Hi, We bought this AC from the Great Eastern Showroom, Midnapore Branch and the model # is RAE318KSDCH/2013. The AC which we bought was delivered on Dec 2013 and since then it has not worked even for a single day. We have tried a lot to get it fixed with your help but nobody responded. Even after the complaint request was registered nobody bothered to respond to the query. We have called the customer care million time to get an update on the request and to get a technician to be sent to fix the issue. But we have always got the same reply as “we have put a reminder to the request and the technician will call as soon as possible”, and the technician never contacted us. Only once, a guy came from Kolkata and told that the Compressor is Bad and he never came back to fix it. I request you to please look into this with priority and fix it urgently as its more than 6 months now. We are really very unsatisfied with the this kind response from such a reputed brand. Our assumption of HITACHI being a respected brand has really got destroyed. We expected an efficient response from such a brand.                   I got my Hitachi split AC biannual maintenance done in Aug last yr by the authorized Hitachi maintenance personnel after which the AC was packed for next season use. This season from the very beginning the AC was not cooling properly and when I called up the repairing guys, they told me the wire of external unit got snapped by the motor blade as it was hanging loose leading to the motor burning up costing me around 4000 bucks for a relatively new AC bought just 2 yrs back. When I contacted the customer care they told me since the AC was out of warranty period I will have to bear the cost of repair even when the fault was totally theirs as it was their chap who opened the external unit of my AC last year for maintenance purpose. I feel cheated...

                    We live in Ashiana Village, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan and when tried to log a complaint for our 1.5ton hitachi AC not working issue, we lost our lives. Firstly none of the nos. or email addresses seem working. NONE OF THEM. Finally when we got through the line after many days[protected],[protected].. spoke to an illiterate for almost 40 mins just to log a simple complaint.. she was very sleepy/arrogant/lethargic/ignorant..and the call was attended after one week and the person who came charged us and took a spare part away.. DISAPPEARED..when i called back the customer service.. again no response.. WE ARE COMPELTELY HARRASED BY HITACHI AND SUFFERING THIS HOT SUMMER WITHOUT AC USE. LOST MONEY TOO..WE NEED SOME RESPONSIBLE ACT HERE

                      Hitachi has the worst after sale service, i have registered complaint a week ago and my complaint number is [protected] for normal service and inspite of several calls and mails i havn't heard from Hitachi and the best part is no body is ready to take the responsibility in there call centre and can't commit on timelines. i'm scared if there normal service is so pathetic then how will they deliver in case of major fault.. Once again pathetic after sale services.

                      Very poor after sale service from Hitachi. Once their warranty expires they didn't pay any attention to the consumer complaints. Their authorised service centre GOLDEN REFRIGERTION also didn't pay any attention. Will not buy any further AC from Hitachi.

                        Dear Sir/Madam, I am the owner of a Hitachi split air conditioner, model no: i-clean 1.2 TR. This is under comprehensive service contract no.1253 dtd.[protected]valid till[protected]. Overall from the inception of this contract, the service and the service response time has been dismal. My AC has been functioning erratically since[protected]. Their customer care number is always non-responsive. Hence their website was used to make a complaint on 20/04/14 and then again on 22/04/14 at 1550hrs without any response from their end. On 23/04/14 again we managed to contact customer care over phone and lodged the same complaint vide request no: [protected]. Till date there has been no call-backs or any attempts to service the same. You may please note that even the regular service schedules have not been maintained by them.                           A window AC was purchased by us on 13.04.13 . This unit has troubled up us with noise and cooling from day one. Service has been less than satisfactory. After their free service in feb the AC has been troubling with a lot if vibration and noise. We have paid Rs 1000 for 2 visits but the problem is unresolved and their response is very weak. Please help us get a new machine. We paid Rs 36, 000 for this unit and it has caused us so much inconvenience. Considering it is made by Hitachi. Email to the company are not responded to. I am attaching one such mail that had been sent last year but was never responded to by anyone.

                            I bought a Cassette Ac on the 7th of Feb from a dealer ASIA SALES AGENCIES. Old # 809/New # 128 Anna Salai. Opp L.I.C Bldng Chennai 600002. The product is HITACHI SPL. 2.0 Ton Cassette Ac. It was fixed a couple days after that by the Hitachi team. The ac and compressor was working fine the first day and it stopped working the next day. I had given many complaints and after 5 to 6 repeated complaints they showed up and tried to fix the problem and fixed it by making me buy a new Stabalizer for which I had to spend 4500 besides the 86750 for the AC. It worked for a day and stopped. I had not switched on the ac again for a month as that room was getting rennovated. And for the last 3 weeks im facing the same problem all over again. Despite so many complaints they r refusing to replace it as Its my loss coz I would have to break the false sealing. Mr. Aiyappan from Hitachi [protected] contacted me and said that he would change the board. He brought the board and cdnt fix it again coz the fuse went out apparently from the ac. Y on earth did they sell me a defective piece in the first place and now im sitting here wasting months and months for the stupid response team from Hitachi. By far the worst customer service ever. The worst product ever. I need a replacement at any cost since the dumb team cant solve an issue. Or else I need to forward this case to the Consumer Court. Fix the bloody problem.

                              Dear, I have purchased 3 Hitachi AC's last week with 100 % payment through Sargam Electronic Noida. I was shocked to hear when I enquired about the 1.5 Ton AC to be delivered to me, the response was "From SARGAM ELECTRONICS- Why are you wasting yours & Our time, we'll let you know when it will be delivered, don't call us". First advise to all Buyers- SARGAM ELECTRONICS; pls. don't buy unless you don't care for your hard earned Money. Multiple reasons 1. You will never get them on phone- have to try at least 10-15 time to get thru, lucky enough GOD helped you. 2. Each and every person will say different policies.. 3. They don't take any ownership on part of OEM the product they SELL. The Other part, its been a week and I'm continuously trying to get the HITACHI CUSTOMER SERVICE to get Installation of these AC's. My best jackpot after 4 days I was able to connect and response was We have send the request to service team, you have to wait. Not sure why I decided to go with HITACHI instead of LG ... suggest all viewers to think before buying such products which are marketed as best brand but doesn't have service commitment..                                 During one year free service an authorised service center ( himani enterprises bharatpur rajasthan phone no.[protected], [protected] ) employee serviced my ace cut out split 1.5 ton a.c. on 14th apr 2014. in the service he broke auto swing flappers. he took them with him to replace by new one. but till now the service center neither repaire nor replace them. I lodge a complaint no. [protected] on company's customer care. but all in vain. many time i call and emailed to hitachi but they did not response properly .from-Abhinav singh choudhary mob.                                   I have purchased the a.C. Of hitachi in feb-14

                                  The compressor of ac did not working and doesnt colling the room and the compressor taking hit in mean time.

                                  I have filled the complain to local office of ahmedabad on 28/04/2014, a junior engineer came but he cant solved the problem and say i sent the seniour engineer but still today no one engineer came to check my a.C.

                                  The company doesnt full fill my expectation.

                                    I have complain last year to hitachi that your brand new ac releasing a kind of bad smell last year when i have purchased this ac. That time your exceutive gives an excuse that this brand new ac after working few days it will disappear. We are not able to sleep at night and we shut down the ac. But unfortunately we have not complain again. And because we are not big user of ac so we had adjust ourself without ac. But this year as temperature up we start using ac . And that bad smell comes again. We complain again but your excutive said yes bad smell is coming out but this a liquid which we put in ac to prequre and safe from rats . Its a position for rat. The earlier executive forgot to clean this. I will do it for you. I will provide you wet cleaning this will resolve your issue. On the same night the smell comes again. And after again two days i am still not able to sleep and shut the ac off. Many time i on the exaust fan and then sleep. I am and was afraid of a posinious gas. Which can kill us during sleep or i many times check my wife that she is fine or gone in deep sleep. She and i both " khasi" many times during night. I think you should take strong action against this. Rather i am planning to do fir against you. Its seems like a manucatureing deffect in this. I also want to warn you that in future if we have or caught cancer then i will never let you go. Will take you to the court as well. Your team is taking lightly to our complains. I would like to check what is this smell . Replace this unit and check what is being released from your ac from last one year. Not sble to use video. And none of pic or video catch the smell.                                     I also feel the same foul smell from indoor unit . When i called for service .hitachi personel asked us to use room spray if smells. Asked them to have a look at my ac several times .. No proper service ..poor quality engineers .still smell didnot go off.

                                    Gonna take my coplaint with higher authority .soundar [protected], chennai.

                                      I have not come across a company whose Customer Complaint Number cannot be contacted for 5 days. I have been trying the[protected] continuously since Monday and after 5 days of calling, I was ultimately able to connect at 8 pm today. I made 5 calls today and the IVRS never connects to anyone. Ultimately I have left a message. I have submitted written service requests also but no one has responded to them for last 2 days.

                                      If anyone is even thinking of buying Hitachi, do not buy the product as the customer service completely SUCKS. In the last 11 months there has been no service done by Hitachi.

                                        Dear Hitachi Team, I am writing this with great discomfort that a company like Hitachi and gone down to its lowest level in terms of AC. I am facing repeated problems in your AC and been chasing Customer Care Dept. but there is no response, no one pocks the call. Last week only the AC has been repaired after my continuous follow-up with ur CC. It took them 10 days to make a visit and the AC was repaired last week. Again the same problem has occurred and again I am chasing your Customer Care Dept but no one is picking up calls. Kindly advise me the way forward, else I will have no option other than to move to Consumer Court. An Unsatisfied Customer [protected]
