HITACHI has been my favorite for years but now i feel like being cheated, the management people at hitachi think of them-self like next to GOD which is very egoistic and enough shameful. i have a 1.5 ton window a.c, it is not working since last 20 days. i had given complain on hitachi helpline no mentioned on my a.c. i havn't got any help yet except the complaint no i.e.[protected]. I have the voice recording the person argued with me, denied to register my complain and after much argument he registered my complain promising me to solve the problem in 48 hours but it has been 13 days but still no turn up

Hitachi — No Help

I Use Hitachi AC (atom + 1) Mumbai. The AC is not giving enough cooling, so i called the the guy whom I got this AC from. His engineers say that there is a gas leak. They repaired it twice. But again this problem occured. I want action against Powan Systems The Dealer of Hitachi.

Hitachi — no hearing of complaints in 3 month of purchase

i purchased 23 ac in last 3 months from hitachi co. but no complaints attend in time that is with in 15 dayys to 75 days. i hate that co

HITACHI,SPLIT ac — not working SINCE LAST 20 DAYS

PURCHASED HITAICHI AC on 27/06/12 at the cost of 43,000 +4000 installation. But it has stopped working. No one has turned up despite complaint made on 17/06/12. complaint no [protected]
Don't buy Hitachi Sugam brand. It gives continous problems (gas leakage) even within one year.

    I made a complaint for my Window AC on 5 August and since then it is lying in the service center. How will I get my AC back? Almost 15 days have passed and no response has been received.Help me to get my AC back. This is the 6th time I am struggling to get my AC repaired from HITACHI. Even for one season it didn't work properly. Since 5 August '13 AC is in the service center and we are not getting it back. I was told cooling pipe is to be replaced.Someone says its coming from Thailand and other says its on its way from Gujarat.I dont think neither of the place is so far that it takes 15 days to reach Delhi.let me know how can i get my machine back as early as possible?.....................POOR MACHINES AND VERY POOR SERVICE....................DARE NOT TO BUY HITACHI.

      Our split AIRCON has been leaking since June 2013. The company has NOT resolved it , even though it was in warranty. Additionally , their technician Mr Dalip who visited damaged another addiional AIRCON while trying to check something. The supervisor Mr Kuldeep at Gurgaon or Anil Nagar do not respond to our messages. We have been writing and calling to follow up to their Gurgaon, Delhi and Ahemdabad centres. Mr Dharam at Delhi office offered assurance but nothing was done. The problem continues to re occur. Mr Binay fom Ahemdabad sent an email confirming the company would replace damaged unit ,but nothing has happened.
      Each visit ( atleast 10 ) they assure us that they will replace the unit if problem re occurs but again nothing happens. We have been unable to use the unit. Have spent time , money , energies following up with all , at their office without any luck.
      Each time I am told this is last check before it is replaced. How can 10 visits not be enough to understand a problem , obviously they DO NOT CARE . There is a list of log numbers going to earliest date, . latest is [protected]
      The AIRCON continues to drip. Requires urgent replacement .
      The AC is not working since June and still the company has not resolved it, despite it being under warranty. Additionally their staff has damaged the other unit and not attended to that replacement either. Shocking behaviour from an International Brand.

        we have hitachi split ac 1.5 ton . we have never
        got any service of machine as promised by dealer at time of
        purchasing. however on 29 june 2013 it stopped working altogether, so
        we made a request no - [protected] , for immediate attention . Even
        calls after calls, no one respond or bother about our need for
        repair and service of machine . so now what should i do ?

          Hi,

          I bought a 5 star Hitachi 1.5 Ton split AC 3 years ago. At the same time I also bought a Whirlpool 1.5 Ton AC.

          I did not invested any single amount on my another AC after installation as it is running very good till now but i have wasted so much money on my Hitachi AC.

          For hitachi AC, My switch plug always got shocked after few days even though I have stabilizers, MCB etc installed in my house.
          I have invested 3000 Rs for gas refilling few days ago as Hitachi AC stopped working. Now, from past 5 days, my AC is not able to start and till now they did not resolved it. They are going to charge me again a big amount.

          Seriously very poor AC and very Poor service.

          Hitachi - Airconditioner — Very Very BAD service

          Our Complain is for Hitachi AC purchased from Reliance Digital. Their service is very very bad and pathetic. Their new products does not work - one should never buy Hotachi and never from Reliance.
          We are very dis satisfied.

          Hitachi Split and Window ACs — Service

          Last year on or about 20th August 2009, I purchased two air-conditioners; one window and the other split. Since, it was almost end of summer, there was no need for service. This year i.e. 2010, I requested for service over the telephone and dry service was provided to both the air-conditioners and the same are working fine. Thanks.

          Now, I was hopeing that, if not three, at least one more service i.e. wet service will be provided before end of year; which did not happen. It also went out of my mind to remind you.

          I sincerely feel, the Company sholuld have, of its own, come forward to service the machines. I, therefore, request M/s Hitachi to come forward for the due free service under intimation to me on e.mail [protected]@hotmail.com or[protected].

          Incidentally, please let me know the maintenance contract rates.

          Fully agree. I bought two Hitachi Kaze split airconditioners to replace LG, from Vijay Sales at Infinity Mall, Lokhandwala, Mumbai. They were fitted on April 5, 2011. Firstly the workmanship was very shoddy. And while fitting one of the aircons, the so called technicians broke the front panel of the indoor unit. Before releasing the installation payment I spoke to Vijay Sales and they asked me to release the payment and said that technicians from Hitachi would come the next day to inspect and replace if required, the damaged components. The complaint number at Vijay Sales is: 1104-D020659

          It is now May 1, 2011 and the problem isnt fixed. I have made a dozen calls but it seems they are not bothered since the sale is done.

          I would never recommend a Hitachi product to anyone ever. Products with the same specs are 2/3 of the cost with excellent service.

            Rusting on Fridge

            I have Purchased a Hitachi Fridge worth of Rs.40,000 in year 2010 and
            Within 2 years started rusting all over the external surface of the fridge.
            Paint is coming out from many places. When I reported the problem to Hitachi service centers, they told me that it can happen and you have to pay and replace the fridge. Also they told me that its manufactured in Korea...

            Now motor has broken diwn
            Hitachidoes not listen to cutomers voice after the waranty period
            We buy hitachi after paying 20% higher than the peers for the sake of service
            I reqest the cutomers not tobuy the hitachi products in india
            They are the cheaters

              I purchased a Hitachi window AC on 29-06-12. On 22-06-13 one service engineer came for servicing and at that time he did not inform that gas of compressor is leaking. After some days when we observed that there is low cooling, service engineer again came on 04-07-13 and told that gas of compressor has leaked and we will have to pay charges of around 2700/- as the warranty has expired on 29-06-13. Though compressor is still under warranty and on 22-06-13, service engineer also did not inform about gas leakage. I had written mails on customer care also but no response.

                I had purchased a 0.9 tone split AC from Hitachi about 2 years back and couple of months back we had booked a standard service from the company. During the procedure their engineer accidentally broke the swing panel of the AC. Initially we didn't notice the issue and once we got to know about it we contacted the Hitachi Customer Care Service to lodge a complaint regarding the matter, their customer service representative told us that since a lot of time had lapsed in filing a complain they could not do much about it, we told them that we would be willing to pay for the cost of repair and they had arranged for the same but no one turned up to look into the matter.

                On June 6 2013, I lodged another complaint with Hitachi regarding the same (Request no. [protected]), an engineer came on 7th July and he had a look at our AC and told us that another engineer would visit us in a day or two in order to replace the part, which NEVER happened. I called their customer service again on 11th July and they assured me that I would receive a call within a day for sure, which needless to say never happened. I wrote to their customer service on 13th July mentioning their appalling customer service and they confirmed that they would look into the matter.

                After waiting for 3 days I again called their customer service and the call was attended by their customer care executive called "Mayur" who was totally arrogant, acted over-smart and rude throughout the conversation, he hung up the phone on my face saying I would get a call by today. This is what Hitachi customer service has come down to, not only their after sale service has deteriorated but they have employed all uneducated, incompetent and rude staff who can choose to deal with their consumers anyway they want to.

                  I purchased on 3/9/11, a 1.5 T window ac. On 15/9/12, just 12 days after
                  expiry of 1 year warranty, the PCB broke down and had to be replaced at
                  appx. cost of Rs. 3000/-. On 5/7/13, barely 10 months after getting it
                  replaced, it has again broken down for which I have already registered
                  a complaint.(request number [protected])

                  I was already VERY DISAPPOINTED with HITACHI product since most A/c do not need any such parts replacement even after 5-10 years of running. However in response to my complaint , representative of Area Service Center visited my as below:

                  1) I got a call from one Mr. Amit regarding this. I mentioned the problem to him that last time we got PCB replaced on 15/9/12 from Tirupati Services,NIT Fbad.,to whom our complaint was forwarded by Hitachi Customer Care

                  2) He mentioned that Tirupati Services are fraud and I should contact the GGN office going forward which he was representing

                  3) He visited my home on 8/7/13 and without even opening the A/c said that motor was to be replaced and appx. cost was Rs. 5000/- with 1 month warranty. When I got the same checked by local technician they mentioned that PCB was faulty and not the motor.

                  4) When I told him that after buying HITACHI product , why do I have to shell out huge amount every year, he mentioned that he can get this covered under AMC, but he'll charge Appx. Rs. 2000/- extra over & beyond the AMC charge of appx. Rs. 1750/-

                  Looking at above scenario, PLEASE ADVISE WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING BEFORE I LODGE A CONSUMER CELL COMPLAINT AGAINST HITACHI FOR ASKING FOR BRIBE TO FIX MY A/C

                  Hitachi Window ACs — Both Hitachi ACs broke down within 3 months of purchase

                  It’s a sad and frustrating experience to me and my family when both the Hitachi 1.5 ton ACs broke down with three months of the purchase date. The first AC was taken to the service center and I had to pay Rs. 1800 for the gas refilling inspite of being within the warranty period. I was told that somebody has used drill machine on the AC while installation. I fail to understand that why should I be charged for a fault due to poor installation.
                  Within few days the second AC broke down and now I am being told that the gas has leaked out and the machine has to be taken to the service center. Is this a common problem with Hitachi ACs? Did I make a wrong choice of trusting the most reliable and largest manufacturers of ACs?
                  I want a replacement for both the ACs failing which I will lodge a complaint in the consumer court. The two ACs that I bought were from Razzle Dazzle, Delhi model number RAV418ERD and serial number s 110A39908/110A37386 purchase on 26 March 2011.

                    I have purchased hitachi split ac on dated 28/04/2013 from malhotra electronics jacobpura gurgaon. But it is not working and totally dead since 6/7/2013. I have booked a complaint to hitachi cc on the same day. But there is not results at all. I called several times in a day to repair it, but they are failed to repair my ac till today.

                    Kindly look into the matter and solve it a.S.A.P and oblige.

                    Sir, I have purchased Hitachi split ac from malhotra electronics jacobpura gurgaon. But it is not working properly since the date of purchase and totally defective piece, which Hitachi engineers could not repair. So much water is coming out inside the room and their engineers were failed to resolved this problem. I am calling them and paying on each and every time but Hitachi engineers are unable to resolve the problem. Their engineer broken my room wall and spoiled full wall. They refused to repair it and could not resolve the problem till today. I explained to Hitachi customer care executives several times by phone, but they could not help me to resolve the problem. Hitachi has given so much financial, emotional, physical and mental stress. Now I want to replace my split ac and get a new split ac from Hitachi soon.                     HITACHI SPLIT AC — ONGOING ISSUES WITH HITACHI

                    HI,

                    I bought a Hitachi Spit AC (Iota 1.5 T - 19HND) on 23 Aug'08 from Chroma. Since the day of installation there has not been a month the service engineer has not visited us. Firstly the 2 circuits in this AC were changed 4-5 times. Eventually when we approached the Service Head - Harpreet Singh; he took us on conference with the owner of the service station & finally got a major part changed. Now this season as soon as we switched on the AC; water started dripping from the AC inside our room. Again a formal complaint was lodged & an engineer visited us after 2 days & placed some foam on the top of the AC stating that the fan was sucking in the water & the issue would be resolved now. However as usual the water started dripping inside our room after exactly 2 days of this visit. We lodged a complaint again & an engineer visited us & per him the resolution provided to us was not correct & the problem is with the installation of AC & there would someone visiting us to reintall the AC.
                    The matter was escalated again to Harpreet Singh & I am sending him emails for the last 3 days with no response.
                    My suggestion to anyone who reads this note is "GO FOR ANY BRAND EXCEPT HITACHI" "BAD PRODUCT; WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE & WORST GRIEVANCE MANAGEMENT"

                    HITACHI HOME & LIFE SOLUTIONS — Extraction of money from the consumer by Hitachi Workshop

                    My Window Air Conditioner of Hitachi Model No.RAA18CP6 stops cooling so I registered with the customer care No.[protected] on 17/05/2010 with the customer name RICHA JAIN and complaint No.[protected]. An executive visited my home and told us that there is a problem in the cooling coil of the Air Conditioner and needs to be repaired. The workshop people coming from A-261, Phase-I, Industrial Area, Okhla, New Delhi-110020 having Phone No. 32458098 picked the Air Conditioner from our home for repair. On our follow up they informed us that there is an estimated expense of Rs.4500.00 for replacement of cooling coil and filing of gas again on which we agree to pay. On our continuous calls they delivered our Air Conditioner with Job Card No.HCS/Okhla/146 after putting on testing for 3 days only on 14/06/2010 ( almost after one month) with an assurance that every thing is perfectly all right and charged us Rs.4842.00 vide receipt No. DEL-1 1046 dated 14/06/10. After 3rd day the Air Conditioner again stops cooling on which we directly approached the workshop as it is in warranty. The same executive again visited and informed us that there is no gas in the Air Conditioner due to leakage and it will be re-filled by the work shop without charging any amount as the Air Conditioner is in warranty for gas or leakage for 6 months. On our request he checked the machine and the compressor and informed us that all are fine. On our complaint, the workshop again picked our Air Conditioner on 26/06/2010 with a promise to install the same on the very same day in the evening. When we didn’t receive our Air Conditioner back till 28/06/10, we again called to the work shop on which they informed us that there is an extra expense of around Rs.8500.00 as the compressor of the Air Conditioner got damaged. As our Air Conditioner is in the workshop, we don’t know the truth as to how our compressor got damaged when the Air Conditioner remain on testing for 3 days in the work shop before it was delivered to us and their own executive checked in front o[censored]s the compressor before it was again picked by the workshop. This is a total extraction of money from the customer by HITACHI HOME & LIFE SOLUTIONS which needs urgent attention from higher level executives of Hitachi to stop the bad practice of work shop of Hitachi.This type of malpractice of work shop giving bad name to the Hitachi.I aim is to got my AC repaired with proper investigation and stops the extraction of money by work shop.

                      I have purchased Hitachi window 1.5 ton summercool model Ac on 12 march 2012...but 10 days back its DC motor stopped working..Mr kshitij [protected]from hitachi service center told me that your will be replaced and the cost will be 5200 + 600..since my ac was not in warranty so i told them to replace it...but 1 day after Mr Dharmender([protected]) told me that the cost will be 7000 plus...they are just try to blackmarket that spare because of shortage...i m very disappointed with hitachi..i have never expected that...till now i m facing incovenience..please take some strict action aginst them..they are just harrasing us because of monoply in that spare..

                        We have taken AMC of Hitachi Split 1.5 ton AC after Inspection of AC by the Hitachi Engineer in the month of March 2013. On 25th of June 2013 we have lodge a complaint at Hitachi Customer care service about cooling problem in AC vide complaint No. [protected]. After 2 days Hitachi Engineer has come and checks the AC. He says there is a problem of Gas leakage. We have to refill a gas in your AC. After 2 days another Engineer has come for Gas Refilling, but he says there is a problem in Cooling Coil of your AC and it has to be replaced.

                        How can be 2 statements are there. One Engineer says the problem of Non-Cooling is gas leakage after checking and another Engineer says Cooling coil is not working without checking the Ac. Both the Engineer has not given any Service report or any other paper regarding complaint. After that no one has come for attending the complaint.

                        Either Hitachi Engineer wants to make money or Hitachi Authorized dealer. But we are suffering a lot for this.

                        I would not recommend to anyone for purchasing Hitachi AC.

                          With extreme anguish and exasperation, I have to say that the after sale service of Hitachi air conditioners is deplorable. Due to the condenser problem, the service center guys took the AC to never return!!
                          Its been more than a month now and no one seems to budge. We tried calling in several times but were met with a new deadline each time. They say that some particular part has to be brought in from Gujarat and that distance is too far to traverse.
                          But now enough is enough. I guess its a pretty good modus operandi of Hitachi; first you guys fool the people into buying into product but when it comes to the after sale service, the consumers have to bear the brunt.

                          Hitachi earlier stood out as a brand which not only used to promise but actually stood upto the consumers' expectations but now it is all turning out to be a mere gimmick.

                          I don't know whether my issue will be resolved or not but nevertheless following is the address of the service center:

                              This Air conditioner was purchased on 23/06/12 at a cost of Rs.34500/- from hari plaza, kshitiz plaza basement sec:4, Vaishali Ghazi a bad 201010. At the time of installation it had short shipment.
                              The dealer started misbehaving saying it is company fault and company responsibility.
                              Air conditioner was found to provide low cooling.
                              Demo engr. In its report also observed it. Since then I have been lodging complaints ,mechanics visit but company does not take action on their reports. SMS from call centre says your complaint has been closed, file new complaint. Since then several complaint numbers have issued, but no action has been taken on the machine. I have photo copies of all complaint forms where in mechanics have suggested senior visit required, senior observing call baak. And my request to provide replacement A/c before taking the defective to their w/shop.
                              I feel the company should change its name to ' Hitachi home & life hurdles (India ) ltd.

                                Refrigerator — not functioning

                                I have purchased a refrigerator on 11/9/2009. godrej make model gde-19da slno.583082. from our local dealer Machine House,Digboi. The same is not functioning properly. I have infomed the Machine House last month, they have come and do some repairing after few days. again the same is not functioning now. I have requested them to replace the refrigerator becuase this may be the manufactruing fault.                                   I bought Hitachi iClean 1.5 Ton a/c 6 months back and it's the worst a/c i come across, I made 3 complaints so for to Hitachi Customer Care, after so many calls they also came and temporarily solved the issue, still it conti...I told them to replace the A/c so for no one has turned and its in warranty for your info, my suggestion here for people his never ever buy Hitachi products...

                                    I logged a complaint for the service of my AC on 20 may as it was still under warrentyand it was conveyed
                                    To me that this will be done with in two days ( as they have a TAT) of two days. Today is 10 June and the
                                    Two days haven't completed. I called and emailed on customer care so many times and the response
                                    Sir this will be done as soon as possible but as soon as possible hasn't come yet. Never experienced this type of service from such a reputed company.

                                    The warranty will be over in next two days and I have to go for paid service now.

                                    Please help and suggest

                                      My window A C was faulty on 01 June 2013 and i lodge the complaint on same day. The complaint no. is [protected] dt. 01.6.2013 . i lodge reminder daily on [protected] but after 8 days no body attended the complaint . Due to this I & my family facing a lot of problem of HOT WEATHER in day & night .i buy a cooler due to the condition of weather. Now from today my phone call not attended by customer care executive. I think, I am wrong to buy a Hitachi product. If my complaint is not attended then I think for Consumer Court.

                                      we had launched the complaint to hitachi call centre for last 1 mont & for service also.but they are not attending.it is the worst company for services in all companies

                                      Hitachi — non attendance to complaint for last 3 months

                                      No response to the following mail sent on 12/2/2011

                                      Hitachi Field call engineer visited our home for the complaint lodged by us on window A/C catching fire at night when in operation. His visit report is attached herewith.

                                      We were given complaint no[protected] dated 28/11/2010 and again one more complaint no[protected] dt 7/12/2010 when we were checking on the status of our complaint.

                                      Till date we do not have any feedback from your esteemed international company.

                                      I hope your service book highlights with red colour any complaint remaining unresolved for more than 7 days.

                                      Awaiting your immediate resolution of the complaint.
