I write this to inform that ever since installation on 16/4/2012 this unit has never worked satisfactorily and went out of service on several occassions.As suggested the unit has also been supported with dedicated stabilizer.
Atleast on 4 /5 occassions during this 11 month period the unit remained out of order for several days.
I am a senior citizen suffering from heart ailments and other problems and in the summer ahead I must have an AC ambiance at noon in particular.In fact ever since installation the usage was never high. It was rarely since October to January. The unit was serviced on 21st March2013 and this evening ( 23rd March 2013) the unit went out of order.
Thus I have a strong reason to believe that the unit has inherent manufacturing defect resulting in such frequent break downs.
I would now therefore request you to replace the unit immediately and I believe that your internationally famed company would like to put a old man like me in difficulty after spending good amount in this AC machine.
Please send your representative immediately to my residence and take immediate action so that I do not suffer health problems. Please ensure replacement of the unit to avoid recurring failure of this existing unit urgently.

    I bought one Hitachi AC last year on 5th May, 2012. Surprisingly, the AC stopped cooling in the month of October 2012. Immediately I called to customer care and they said that I would get a call from their representative within 48 hours.

    I Never thought that 48 hours means it may take more than 4 months to receive a call from their representative. Now, it's March 19th, 2013 and still I am waiting for their call. Actually last year I called them many times and then lost the hope. I did not do anything since winter was near and need of AC was less that time.

    I called to customer care support on 14th March and they said again 48 hours. It's really crazy that still they are not doing anything. Whenever I call, they say sorry and promise to fix the issue within 48 hours. But nothing is happening.

    It was not even one year completed and AC stopped working. I decided to purchase Hitachi AC and after reviewing some reviews online. I believe, all those are fake reviews and company paid someone to publish all those.

    So, based on my experience I can suggest you => DO NOT EVER BUY HITACHI AC. Go for either LG or Samsung. At least they provide customer support and don't do anything stupid thing like Hitachi.

    I don't think this complain will do anything good for me. HITACHI doesn't care about it's customer, they just know to rip off customer. Once you pay them, they will send you a faulty system and won't ever listen to your problem. I am posting this so that other people can stay away from their scam.

      I purchased a disc grinder of Hitachi make with serial no. V5XI1596, on[protected], from their authorised dealer SHACO Sales and service situated at 45, Jawahar Marg, badshah chamber, nr. premsukh talkies, Indore-7 Ph:[protected]. Mob: [protected]

      dated 15/09/2012.
      amount- Rs. 6510/-( Six thousand five hundred ten only )
      Along with the machine , a warranty card was also given to us with period of six months from date of purchase.
      From the very first day, this machine was generating a noise which was reported to the dealer but they refused to repair it stating it as a normal sound, After working a while, this machine stopped working on 08/03/2013.( under warranty period )
      When reported to shaco sales and service, they asked us to change armature of the machine as it was burnt up, when we tried to claim the warranty provided with the machine it was refused by the dealer and further an estimate of Rs. 2500/- was given to us verbally for original armature while of Rs. 1400/- for duplicate armature.

      Therefore, it is requested from our side, to look forward in this matter and do the needfull.

        I have purchased your company's Split Air Conditioner on 22-Apr-2011. After 10 months means in Feb-2012 i m not getting cooling so i call to my dealear and his technician come to my home and check it. He told that due to not proper installation and not rapping tape on gas pipe, your units gas leakage. At that time, he feel up some gas and say now its ok. In feb-2012, i am in warranty period but at that time work not done properly, so at present (feb-2013) i am facing same problem of feb-2012. As per my knowledge, this gas is harmful for environment and its effect ozone layer.what can i can do? and what type of help should i get from your side? i purchased HITACHI A.C.because of reputed company in the market. so kindly do needful for me.

          I SUMEET VERMA holder of Hitachi refrigerator wanted to state that my refrigerator has been not working from 23/01/2013. I have complaint on this matter on 24/Jan/2013.your employees gave me wrong information about my refrigerator. they told me that my transformer which is connected to it is at fault. they also said that the transformer gave the more voltage to the fridge than it is required.
          I have given my transformer to an electrician but it is all right. The problem is in refrigerator.I have called to your customer care but they had not given any reply for this problem.the P.C.B. is unavailable this time and my fridge is frosting. moreover it is in warranty period.
          Sir/Madam please look upon this matter my most of the food has been spoiled.please this is my request to you.

          Hi- this is regarding my Hitachi 3 door refrigerator which I bought for my house is not working from more than a five days now. The registered compliant number is [protected] dated 14/5/2015. The defect is that the refrigerator portion of fridge is not cooling at all, however, the freezer is working fine. The customer care executive came last friday and after inspection he mentioned there is one part faulty which needs to be replaced. He did mention that the part will be available in a day and then he will replace it. He never revered back - it has been four days. I also called customer care phone and asked about the status of my complaint but in vein.

          I am wondering that the warranty will get over in few days and i will be penalized for negligent action of the Company. I also suspect there is a major defect which Hitachi is hiding from me to avoid the replacement of defective ref.

            Sir/Madam I purchased 32" HITACHI LED TV from EZONE through online on 5th Sep 2012 and got received 17th Sept 2012 at my Delhi Address. But for wall mount installation I requested to Ezone customer care on[protected], [protected] and Ms.Sunita from futurebazar and told that Hitachi executive will attend soon. But no one came after so many followup no one came than I got Hitachi executive no Ms.Minakhsi [protected] and they were telling as purchase period overed 1 month so it will charge Rs 1000/- for installation or contact ezone as you have purchased from Ezone. after so many followup with ezone Ms.Sunita for same but installed.I decided to install my self found the wall mount accessories not fixing with LED TV which came along With Tv. When same thing inform to Hitachi executive Ms.Minakhshi she told it is not concern with us as you purchased from Ezone. Than I contacted to Ezone Ms.Sunita. She tol she will get back to me but not yet. When I contacted yesterday she is now ignoring. My purchased job no and related information mentioned below.Please Help me as Neither Hitachi nor Ezone providing solution for same.

              We have an HITACHI Air Conditioner 1.5 TR, Model - RAU318KSD which we purchased from KOHINOOR, Kandivali, Mumbai on 1-May-12, vide Invoice No. KAN/601105, dt. 2-5-12.
              Got a call from HITACHI Service technician, Sanjay Dhodi[protected] on 10-Dec-12, Monday at about 12.10 PM willing to visit our home for routine service. Requested him to visit on next Saturday, for which he said to log a call on Helpline no. on the day before.
              Accordingly, I registered a service request # [protected] on 14-Dec-12 (Friday), specifically requesting for a visit on 15th, Saturday. 2 service personnel visited on 15th, and found out that no cooling was taking place by the AC. Then they found that there is no gas left inside the tubings, to such an extent that even checking the leak thru’ soap solution was not possible. They checked up the AC Installation report and found out that one technician named Sajid had done the faulty installation on 10-May-12. Then they left assuring that some other technician would visit on next Monday, 17th to do the refilling.
              No one turned up till 20th, i.e. Thursday. When I called up the HITACHI Dial-a-care, I came to know that the earlier service call was already closed. Ms Neeta who attended the call, advised me to log a fresh service request for next Saturday, i.e. 22nd, vide no. [protected]. I specifically requested her to note that I wanted the service positively on 22nd.
              On 22nd Dec’12, Saturday morning, I again called up the Customer Care No., and requested to ensure service on that day itself, and accordingly I stayed home all throughout, but no one from HITACHI turned up, nor even bothered to inform so over phone. I tried to contact even the Service Centre No.[protected] / 70, at least 4-5 times, but either these were coming engaged, or as no reply.
              On 25th Dec’12 being a holiday, I dialed the Customer Care again, when the customer executive apologized, and assured that he is logging a escalation request for ensuring prompt service.
              26th & 27th Dec, no one contacted from HITACHI. On 28th, Thursday, one technician[protected] called up my mobile no. around 2.10 PM and informed that he would visit within a hour.
              He reported around 3.30 PM and asked my wife for papers on the AC. She showed him the duly signed Warranty Certificate, clearly indicating the date of sale. However, he insisted on having a photocopy of the Invoice, which my wife could not locate it immediately. I was at office when the technician spoke to me on my mobile, and asked for the bill copy, telling further that the earlier technician must have informed me on this during his last visit. I said no and informed him that Warranty Status of the machine could also be confirmed by him from HITACHI service centre, and therefore requested him to complete the long pending service first, and collect the invoice copy on next day, if it was so necessary. However, he said that it was their rule and that he required to collect the invoice Xerox copy, before rendering service !!! Finally, he left the place without doing anything.
              What a superb service HITACHI is rendering !! Instead of rectifying an installation defect as promptly as possible, it made the customer to log another complaint after 6 days for the same service, and then again make the customer wait for 8 more days to come back, and asking for a Xerox copy of the invoice, before even attempt to repair the same !!
              Request authorities concerned in HITACHI to reward the concerned technicians and Service Manager magnanimously, so that they can make HITACHI a truly trusted name in the field !!
              No wonder, why people still prefer the good old VOLTAS.

                I HAVE PURCHASED HITACHI REFRIGERATOR IN DUBAI UAE IN THE MONTH OF NOV 2009AND THEN BROUGHT IT TO INDIA IN DELHI . THE REFRIGERATOR WAS FUNCTIONING WELL FOR ONE YEAR BUT SUDDENLY IT DEVELOPED SNAG AND STOPPED FUNCTIONING AND WE LODGED COMPLAINT TO HITACHI INDIA AT THEIR SERVICE CENTRE AT KIRTI NAGER,DELHI.THE COMPLAINT NUMBER WAS [protected].THEY VISITED OUR PLACE AND TOLD US THAT HEATING ROD NEEDS REPLACEMENT AND THE SAME WAS REPLACED WITH THE APPLICABLE CHARGES OF THE HEATING ROD AND THEIR CHARGES.THEY REFUSED OUR INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY AND TOLD US THAT EVERY THING IS CHARGEABLE.AFTER REPLACEMENT OF THE ROD THE REFRIGERATOR DID NOT WORK.THERE WAS NO COOLING. THE REFRIGERATOR GOT HEATED TOO MUCH. AGAIN THE COMPLIANT WAS LOGED VIDE NO [protected]. THE MECHANIC VISITED AND INFORMED THAT THE PCB SEEMS TO BE FAULTY AND TAKEN THE SAME FOR REPAIR. AFTER FOLLOW UP THE SERVICE CENTRE SITUATED AT KIRTI NAGAR NEW DELHI INFORMED THAT PCB CANNOT BE REPAIRED NOR DO WE HAVE THE SAME AS THE REFRIGERATOR WAS PURCHASED ABROAD AND THE MODEL IS NOT YEY LAUNCHED YET IN INDIA. THE MODEL NO IS RW660FUK6X(A)GBK. THE FACT IS THAT THE ENGINEERS AND MECHANIC STATIONED AT INDIA ARE NOT ABLE TO FIND OUT THE FAULT NOR THEY ARE COMPETANT.WE HAVE ALSO TOLD THE COMPANY TO ARRANGE FOR THE FAULTY PART FROM ANYWHERE IN INDIA OR ABROAD ON CHARGEABLE BASIS BUT THEY ARE THE MUTE SPECTATORS.IF THEY HAVE PINPOINTED THE FAULT, CAN THEY NOT ARRANGE THE PART. IS THIS THE SERVICES WE ARE GETTING FROM THE PEOPLE OF THIS INTERNATIONAL BRAND. IS THERE ANY BODY TO HELP US.

                  I HAVE BEEN CHEATED FROM YASH CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT(CUST. CODE : 21488). I ORDERED A NEW TATA HITACHI MODEL EX200 ON 1.10.12 FINANCED BY MAGMA FINCORP LTD., BUT YASH CONSTRUCTION DILIEVERED ME A SECOND HAND, ACCIDENTAL MACHINE THAT WAS FIRST BILLED ON 31.8.2012 TO BISEN ENTERPRISES, WAIDHEN, SINGRAULI, M.P.. AND ONE MONTH LATER IT WAS SEND TO ME AFTER PAINTING AND REPAIRING, CABIN AND ALL.
                  DEAR SIR THIS EX200 IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND SUFFERING FROM FREQUENT BREAKDOWNS. I AM NOT ABLE TO OPERATE THIS SECOND HAND, ACCIDENTAL MACHINE IN FREQUENT BREAKDOWNS AND HEAVY MONTHLY EMI. SIR YASH CONSTRUCTION HAS CHEATED ME IN MANY WAYS SO PLEASE TAKE STRONG ACTION AGAINST HIM AND REPLACE THIS MACHINE AND SEND ME NEW ONE SO THAT I MAY PAY MY EMI's PROPERLY.                     Hi There,

                    I bought a HITACHI refrigerator 7 months back. At the time of delivery, there were some scratches on the door handle and also both the stands(front legs) were broken. As suggested by delivery guy. I called cutomer care at[protected] and filed a complaint for the same (Complaint number is [protected]). Their service man visited to my place many times and took the damaged part and asked to sign the job sheet and assured that it will be fixed in another 2 days. After that nobody came. I followed up with the customer care but no result. Everytime they assured me to fix the damaged part in one or two days but it never happened. Its over 7 months and I am still following up.

                    Kindly suggest.

                      1. I have purchased Hitachi Refrigerator(double door) from the dealer (Sachdeva Electrical, Saharanpur) on 1st July,2012

                      2.It wasn't functioning properly from the 1st day of purchase. Cooling wasn't happening at all.

                      3. I complained it to the dealer, he committed to send the technician next 48 hr.

                      4. He sent a fake technician(which was not from the Hitachi team) and that person did some settings changes in the fridge saying that it'll now work properly. But even that also didn't work.

                      5. I logged many complaints on the customer care, hitachi. They also assured to send the technician within 48 hours, but after 40 days one technician came that too after writing so many mails to hitachi team and calling them again and again. He said that a part of the fridge was broken. He said, he'll come and replace the part. We gave the feedback as worst one on the documents and asked for the fridge replacement.

                      6. After that no customer case support executive came and the issue is still there in the fridge. The cooling doesn't happen in the lower area of the fridge. I wrote so many mails and logged so many complaints, but even then there is no response from the hitachi team.

                      7. Even the dealer is also not supporting us to get rid off this issue. It seems like we have been fooled by the dealer as well as by a so called bran "HITACHI", which seems to be like fake company and supply wrong products.

                      8. People purchase the thing for there luxury & comfort, but after purchasing the Hitachi it seems that it is totally a discomfort. We are thoroughly disappointed by the breakdown of the refrigerator with the first day of the purchase.

                      7.Extremely poor response from your after sales & service organization.

                      8. Now after tolerating all this discomfort, you have two options:
                      a) either change my fridge immediately or
                      b) refund my money

                      Hitachi — poor service - no technician sent after 48 hours

                      I had made the aforementioned complaint on 02.07.2012 as my AC
                      suddenly stopped functioning. Despite numerous reminders my complaint
                      has not ben attended by any service personnel as yet. On 02.07.2012,
                      when the comlpaint was lodged, it was informd that the staff would
                      reach within 24 - 48 hours of complaint and they gave me the phone
                      number of the service centre to follow up. When I called up the
                      service centre, they refused to provide any technician to help on the
                      ground that all of them were on holiday. After much persuasion, they
                      had pity on my begging [after all that is what a customer beccomes
                      when it comes ot seeking customer support after buying a product from
                      a big company] and saud that he would try to send someone the next
                      day, .i.e. 03.07. Hoping that my plea would show some result, I was
                      left disappointed when on 03.07.2012 also no technician turned up. I
                      called the service centre and was informed that it would take another
                      48 hours. I was shocked. I had asked for a Hitachi techinician because
                      I was not sure of getting the AC repaired from non-hitachi technician
                      as then the Company would not honour the guarantee. However, such an
                      abnormal delay has left me with no choice.

                        I have purchased one 300ltrs Hitachi refrigerator on 28.05.2010. Day before yesterday it got some problem and stopped working. Made complain on the same day to customer service at Bhubaneswar but,till date noone came to rectify the problem whereas I have been informed that someone will come within 48hrs but all are fake.
                        Dont trust on Hitachi services or products.

                          Pathetic After Sales Service
                          Ma'am - No offense but please consider this as an Registered letter and forward this to the MD and the President of Hitachi India/Japan (if required).

                          With all due respect, Hitachi dealer,customer care,after sales service and technical/service engineer(s) are all fake and nothing else but bunch of liars, whose job is to lie over the phone and play with the customer emotions.

                          Actually Government should take strict actions against these outsiders, who come in our country and sell their products without any direct control over the after sales service.They just forget everything after getting their profits.

                          Not asking for more but my earnest request is to take the AC back and return all my money,so that I can buy a home product from an Indian company, which should have atleast a physical address and people who would honour their committments.

                          You don't need a Anna Hazarae or do you ??

I am a citizen of a democratic country and I am aware of my rights.I don't need your product/services.All I need is; Hitachi to pay back for all the discomfort,inconvenience and harrassment caused to customer(so called customers for Hitachi) who is sitting helplessly and watching his sick family member, who needed this AC more than anyone else, for whom the cool and fresh air is a necessity rather than a levish living style or a status symbol.

                          Please understand that you are dealing with HUMANS and not ANIMALS. And by the way just an fyi - for Animals too our Govt. (Govt. of India) have some law in place and I am sure you know that.
                          i fully agree with the above compliant who had suffered enough in the hands of Hitachi even my complaint no 91002287 Delhi has the same pathitic story
                          these people should be kicked out of our country.
                          these are the numbers who have made false promises to customer (ME[protected], [protected],[protected],[protected] and [protected] these people should be put behind Bars for playing with the money and sentiments of the customer.
                          i have purchased four Hitachi window AC for my house and around 50 split ac for my company and another 75 AC's under pipe line
                          i feel like throwing these AC's on the road take photographs and tell the world about these people who are given high perks to run the company.
                          shame on the chairman of Hitachi you should be tried in Indian courts for duping people of their needs.

                            I have purchased the Hitachi Twin Motor Air condition in the month of May'12 from the Vijay Sales Corporation and since then i am facing the major problem in term of cooling and functionality..

                            We keep our A/C in 16 Degree temperature for the whole night and the room size is 12*12.

                            We have raised so many complaints to Hitachi center and no accurate response has been given by them..

                            Hitachi executives visited and provided the below mention Comments..

                            Room Size is big and because of that AC is not doing cooling, Air condition is working fine there is some issue with leaking of cooling from the room itself ..etc etc..

                            As of now .. There is no corrected solution provide by them..

                            We are facing another problem of auto net cleaner display which is not working.. Response to that by Hitachi executives..

                            1. Display is not working fine in this model esp.. Cleaner icon
                            2. There is no need of icon .. Clean it on every 10-15 days etc..

                            On personal request by Vijay Sales executive. Display has been changed and now it completely stopped working..

                            As of now.. My complaint is logged with Hitachi customer care center and no idea whether it is in open condition or closed/resolved by the executives..

                            I have never seen such a pathetic service from the companies and would not to buy Hitachi products.. it’s pathetic service center as well as products. It’s the costliest one as well.. There executives intention is not to do the work or to close the issue.. They don't want to resolve the issue.. They don't want to visit the customer location to check the product.

                            Hitachi Window Air Conditioner — FREQUENT PROBLEM IN MACHINE

                            I PURCHASED 1.5 TON 5 STAR WINDOW AC FROM TATA CROMA CENTRE, PACIFIC MALL, KAUSHAMBHI, GZB, ON 13.05.2011. THEY DELIVERED THE AC ON 14.05.2011. I HAD TO WAIT UNTILL 21.05.2011 FOR INSTALLATION. AFTER INSTALLATION ON 21.05.2011 , COMPANY TECHNICIAN TOLD THAT THERE IS NO GAS IN THE AC SO COOLING IS ZERO. THEN I HAD TO APPROACH DAILY FOR REPLACEMENT UNTILL 02.06.2011. AGAIN AFTER INSTALLATION I HAD TO APPROACH 3 TIMES TO THE COMPANY FOR PROBLEMS IN AC. SINCE LAST FOUR DAYS I AM NOT ABLE TO USE MY AC. IN LAST ONE MONTH I USED MY AC ONLY FOR 10 DAYS.
                            NOW IT SEEMS THERE IS A DEFECTIVE IN AC. NOW I AM AFFRAID THAT I WILL NOT USE MY AC THIS SUMMER.

                              Hitachi/Window AC 1.5 ton — Pathetic service from hitachi

                              Hi,
                              I bought a 1.5 ton window AC last year(its still under warranty period)
                              I had made a service request(req no [protected]) on 30 april 2011,which is still to be addressed.
                              Repeated calls/reminders to call centre are falling on deaf ears.
                              They had boasted a max turnaround time of 4 days but 16 days have elasped and counting.

                                We bought the Hitachi Split AC on Sept 04, 2011. On the first day of installation engineer broke the flap. Then we started facing the problem of water leakage from the AC. It is almost a year now the Hitachi technicians could not fix the problem of water leakage. We logged many complaints and from numerous visits from the technical team from Hitachi the problem still persist. Below is the details of calls logged with Hitachi Service-desk. On numerous occasions we have asked them not to close the call but they insisted that they can't leave the call till eternity. As a dissatisfied customer I have threatened them of escalating the issue to the higher management, but unfortunately the trick didn't worked for us.

                                Now since the warranty has expired the service desk have informed us that the visit from the engineer will be on chargeable basis.

                                It is my humble request as Hitachi customer that an expert to be sent to our place to fix the problem, and if needed replace the unit for no cost to us.

                                  I have bought Hitachi Split AC 1.5 (acecutout) within four months AC's motor was burnt and repaired by the company. But now there is another problem in its working the inner air vent(right to left) is not working and now I want the company to replace the not as I am not willing to get it repaired again and again in such a short duration under six months (buying till now).
                                  The stabilizer they are using is much worse than any local made stabilizer which fails to carry out its true function.

                                      I had purchased a Hitachi Split AC a year back in chennai, India . From then, for every 3-4 months I had raised a complaint about low cooling and the technician used to come and inform that the gas leakage is there and will fix it and go. Still the issue is open and now the one year free service is over, they again came and said the same gas leakage issue and will charge Rs.2800 for this.

                                      When I asked the technician about this, he is telling that this time we will fix it properly and the previous technicians who attended wouldn’t have fixed properly and he is not responsible for this.

                                      Would you please let me know whether Hitachi will own this issue and fix it once for all.

                                      I am really dissatisfied with the way the service is done here and the problem which is a day-one issue is not fixed for the past one year.

                                      My problem here is, there no one to escalate this in India since the customer care number doesn't provide any support. Also emailing to [protected]@hitachi-hli.com doesn't work.

                                      We look this case any Hitachi have provided us a faulty AC and have been prolonging the issue which was raised for the complete year, just to push intentionally the warranty period.

                                      Would someone responsible in the organization respond to this, as at this point there is no escalation point in india for this. And everything stops at customer care number were they only say Sorry.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I purchased an Air condition purchased from Croma Sector 26 , Chandigarh vide bill No. SLF 02A[protected] Dt.[protected], which I got installed at my residence House sector 8 , Panchkula.

                                        Sir, in the month of July the cooling got less and there was ice formation in it. I complaint to the Service centre and was given complaint No. [protected] dt.[protected].

                                        Sir, I regret to inform you that till[protected] date I have not received my Air-condition back. All my calls to Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Local Head Mobile No. [protected] and [protected] are not attend to. The service center incharge Sh. Amarinder Singh Mobile No. [protected] has told me that there is some major problem in the air-condition and it cannot be repaired and when I told them to replace irt with a new one they have started to make excuses. Also my complaint to Ahmedabad customer care office are not properly attended. All the season when the air condition is most needed has gone and my family had to face the heat and humidity and sleep without aircondition.

                                        Sir, request you to replace the air-condition with a new piece immediately or I shall be forced to take legal action against you.
