I PURCHASED 1.5 TON AC FROM GEM HOUSE JALANDHAR ON 05/08/11.
WANTED ONE SERVICE BEFORE EXPIRY OF WARRANTY AS AUTO SWING WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY SINCE I BROUGHT THE MACHINE.
I HAD TO CALL AT LEAST 10-15 TIMES FOR SERVICE & WHEN THE PERSON FINALLY TURNED UP AFTER LINGERING ON FOR AT LEAST 7 DAYS, HE SAYS THAT THE MACHINE IS NOW OUT OF WARRANTY. THOUGH THE COMPLAINT WAS REGISTERED ON 1/2ND AUG 12.

    I am having troubles with HITACHI 1.2 Ton Split AC from the authorized dealer. AC is barely 8 months old and it has already started giving troubles like gas leakage, no cooling. The 1st complaint logged on July 17, 2012 and it took them 9 days to come home and see the AC. After the technician came he said the coil has leakage and they the machine to service center in Goregaon, Mumbai. Also, its been more than 15 days they haven't solved the problem and returned. Even after multiple follow-ups no body gives a certain answer.All they say is they don't have the availability of the coil.. All they do is pass the buck to each other.       Myself Shivani Malhotra, I have bought Hitachi A.C. I-clean model on 7th-june-2012 from Bahadar Chand & Co. Hall Gate, Amritsar. Just two months are gone and From the very first day we are facing so many problems like leakage problem, cooling problem and noise problem too. Every time I registered complaint to customer care and 2-3 times their technician came to our house and said the problem is not recognizing and they said we will send some senior technician about this. But nobody came then and now when I talked to some senior official in the customer care , they are saying that according to their record, Bahadar Chand & Sons. had not done the installation from Hitachi service , although they have completed the installation from some third party. So , hitachi customer care are out of this now by saying all the above matter. And then I visited Bahadar Chand & Sons. around 8-10 times but they are also not doing anything. Again and again they are just giving me different different numbers to call and those numbers are not working .

      My request is that please take some strict action against Bahadar chand & Sons. We have spent Rs. 45,000 on it. Please asap take some strict action and do the justice.

        I am writing theis in much despair about a Hitachi window AC(1.5 ton) i purchased on 8the June 2012 from ACE TECHNOMARK
        details of thee purchase below
        Dealer Name: ACE Techno mark, shop no 230, The Great India Mall, sector - 38A, Noida-201304
        Purchase Date: 8the June

        Price: Rs33000/-


        AC was installed in my home on thee same day, by a carpenter from thee dealer. I noticed theat thee swing was not working and was told by thee carpenter theat a technician would come to my home in couple of days for demo and i can bring theis to his notice. As he was not a technician.
        i waited for 3 days for a technician to turn up for a DEMO, but nobody showed up, so i called thee HITACHI customer care and logged two complaints on 13the June.

        1. [protected] - for Auto swing no working and motor check
        2. [protected] - for New machine demo.

        On 16the June a technician came to my home for bothe thee complaints, He declared theat thee swing motors are not working and would need to be repaired. To which i objected and asked theen to replace thee AC Grill, as theis was defective Unit installed in my home.
        After waiting for couple of more day i called up Hitachi customer care again on 21 June(SR [protected] ) and asked theem about thee status of my complaint and i was informed theat a new technician would visit to take a look at thee problem.


        On 29the June (SR [protected] )a technician form Hitachi brought a New AC grill and installed thee same, but thee problem remained and thee swing was not working, i was theen told by thee technician theat thee Swing motors are OK and theat thee AC's PCB needs to be repaired.
        I again objected to thee repairs and did not want a defective unit to be installed at my place and theen repaired, and demanded a AC replacement.

        Thus my problems started, since theen i have been calling Hitachi customer Care twice every week and every time i call theen i have to narrate theem thee same story and theey open a new complaint, and close thee last complaint.

        I have escalated theis to HITACHI via theere SR system couple of times.

        Last complaint theat was opened withe theem was on 20the July, and i was promised theat a technician would visit my home and theen a decision of replacement would be taken, but when i called theem today on 27the July theey informed me to my shock theat thee complaint is closed witheout any action.


        Please Help me!!

        Below is thee Case History since theen

        20the July – [protected] – Auto swing not working (2 reminders)

        28the July – [protected] – Machine not working – Swing not working.(3Reminder)
        Technician visited and asked for Inv.

        3rd Aug – Reminded again ttalkedto Mr. Hardik( promised theat thee tech will call in 30 mins, Noboday )

        6Th Aug – Reminded again – Ttalkedto Mr. Arpit. Informed me about warranty information /inv copy pending at me, Invoice copy was mailed to technician on 30the July to email [protected]@gmail.com.


        I request you to please help me here and get my AC replaced withe a good fully working UNIT. Your speedy response on theis will be highly appriaicated

        Hitachi is harassing me from last two monthe despite my repeated efforts to get theis defective AC replaced. I have already written email to Mr. Deepak mishra and Hitachi Customer Care withe all details but have not received any response from theem till date.

        I have called thee Hitachi customer care now for more theat 100 times but look like theey are just making a joke out thee customer care theing, every time i call theem theey just open a new ticket and send a technician to my house, and when i demand a replacement thee ticket is closed.

          sir, i have bought hitachi ac (split) in the mid of 2010 from arvind electronics prem nagar ambala city.....the ac is not working properly...i have lodged the complaint about ac to the owner of arvind electronics but he has not taken any action about it....i had also lodged this complaint to hitachi customer care..they said they will take action in 48 hours but still the problem is same...they have not come yet....the free services of ac is pending they even did'nt come for doing service......please take an appropriate action as soon as possible..........thankssss

            I have 3 door Hitachi Refrigerator Model No;RS-31MVMD purchased in 2007. I had no issues with the fridge until last month. We shifted from Bangalore to Gurgaon.On June 28th 2012 the upper compartment of the fridge stopped cooling.I called the Hitachi Helpline on[protected] and registered a complaint. I had to follow up with around 10 call to have a engineer to come over. I received a message from the call centre stating that a engineer would call before visit. This message was from the number [protected]. I got a call from a person called Ashish from the number [protected] saying that he would come over. He looked at the fridge and said that the sensors and the PCB had to be replaced which would cost Rs.8400/- He was with the Hitachi uniform. They took the PCB and returned in 2 hours and fixed back the fridge and it was working. He gave me a receipt which was from BHAWNA SERVICE CENTER-Shop nNo 490,Main Market,Madangiri,Khanpur,Delhi.Ph Nos:[protected]/[protected]/[protected]@YAHOO.COM.
            The receipt read with one year warranty.

            I had the same issue again on the 18th July 2012 the upper compartment has stopped cooling. I tried calling all the above mentioned numbers but they were all switched off. I called the hElpline again on[protected] and was informed that my complaint was not registred.They registered a new one under [protected]. I called them again after 2 days and the response i got was they cannot do anything as the window for the complaint to be attanded was 48 hours and they still has 1 day to go. The whole circus started from here on as they had not sent an engineer till July 28th 2012. I spoke to several people and was not provided an escaltion number. I had a call today from an engineer who came over and looked at the old receipt and paperwork and to MY HORROR informed me that i was duped and they had no authorised service center by name Bhawna Service Center and i was also informed that the PCB was not changed . The option given was to change the PCB as the existing one had no memory card or to install a UPS.

            Hitachi is supposed to be the most reupted company but i would geniunely dvise customers not to go for the products but instead opt for an Indian which is way better in performance and technology.

              i purchased a split ac from authorized dealer of hitach. its a just 2 months old ac and it has stop cooling from 1 week, i raised a complaint but no boday came from company, again registered a complaint after 5 days but still that problem has not resolved.
              my first complaint no is [protected] and second complaint no is [protected],
              either they have to change this ac or they have to resolve the problem.

                We bought a Hitachi 2tonnes window ac through your dealer M/S Ankur Electronic sector18 Noida 201301 on 4th July 2012. This was installed by the dealer itself. It started giving problems on July 18 after and was making terrible noises. We called the customer care and sent out a mail to customer care on July 20. After 4 days the technician visited and told there was a piece of wood stuck in the AC. After he left the AC again started making noises and we again called the customer care. When the technician arrived we asked to get the AC replaced. He stated this is in hand s of a senior person. He gave a landline number through which we could not get through. He then slipped away and told his senior (Vinod Kumar) that we misbehaved with him. This is totally false and malicious information.

                We have not heard anything back from any Hitachi’s resource since then. We will like to get the AC replaced as our confidence is shattered and there is no guarantee that the piece of wood did not internally damage any other component as even after removing it it did make some noise.

                  I bought a brand new AC Twin motor from Rhythm House, Sec 18 , Noida on 14th April 2012 and did not use it .
                  I was given a demo at my house and I together with the engineer detected that that AC is not working properly.

                  I mentioned the same in the form given to me by the engineer 1 week before. 3 supervisor viisted the home, see the problem and say that You will get replacement but , no action has been taken by the company till date

                  Hitachi — new ac not working

                  i have bought in March 2011 split AC 1.2 tone above mentioned model from HITACHI autherised showroom and they have installed the ac (installation done by hitachi Home &life solution India) patparganj Delhi
                  since the whether in delhi March and April was good there was no requirment of AC so i have started using last week.
                  The Ac was not at all coolling the room so i made complaint on 31 st April complaint number [protected].
                  After repeated follow Technician came on 4th May checked and said the capacitor problem so he came next day and replaced in 5th may. no effect of cooling complaint was made again He came and checked again on 6th may he said there is requirement of Gas filling.
                  Again repeated follow up 7th May the gas was filled by the technician .on that night I could not able to sleep again the ac was not cooling.
                  . I last the Hope in HITACHI. I was having Good image on HITACHI. That is why I paid more for the AC. Now the service centre is not picking up the call and u the helpline number35324848 server is down and they are not able to register my complaint.
                  after repeated followup technician came on 8th may said the outder unit is to be replaced .
                  today is 11 th may no body attended even afterrepeated follow up . NEVER PURCHASE HITACHI. Thats my humble request to everyone otherwise if your AC gets any problem, you will go through a horror time for sure.
                  Very Very BAD AFTER SALES SERVICE.

                    I have purchased a Hitachi summer cool AC no. rav18 erd1.5ton from Shree-Vaibhav electronics Sahibabad on 4-3-2012 and within a month it stopped chill cooling.The technicians representing M/s On Spot Cooling firm - the authorized service center of Hitachi came and repaired the ac at my place. However again within one month of repair the cooling went off and after inspecting it the technician said that gas is just 40% filled, that is why it is not cooling. They took away my ac to their place and brought it back after 5 days saying its power center-PCB- too was not working and they have repaired it . Even after this, the repaired ac did not cooled to chill. It was just cooling and on 3rd july,2012 it again went off and did not start. On 4-7-2012 I lodged complaint in Hitachi customer care phone no and requested to let the ac be replaced as it is a defective piece.The executive agreed in principal and referred the case to On- Spot-Cooling for submission of their report.The technicians of the company came three times for inspection they took photocopy of the cash-memo and took a form filled by me for replacement. The last was a Mr. Mohsin who visited on[protected] and who assured me that replacement will be done within two days. In between I reminded customer care executives almost every day and they also told me that replacement report is already in receipt from On-Spot-Cooling and replacement will be shortly done after decision of the top level officers of Hitachi.Getting no response regarding replacement since 16-7-12, I on advice of customer care executives, sent email to customer care id on 20-7-12 but they replied via auto genre-ted email that delay is regretted and my compliant is being sent to service center for compliance. To this I again contacted Mr. Mohsin who said they have already sent the report along-with advice for replacement of AC and now they have nothing to do or say or act. In this biting heat of peak summer it is already 18 days since my complaint lodged and their seemed to be no solution from the part of Hitachi.There is no officer by name or designation, authorized by Hitachi to hear the woes of customers and take positive decision in person.I have been left with no alternative than to go to Consumer Forum for justice. But I will never buy any product of Hitachi nor will recommend. I will also inform the Indian head of Hitachi as well also write to the board of directors of Hitachi at Japan.

                      Purchased Hitachi Window AC from Smile Stores Kanpur model 5 star summer
                      s.no. 110D40128 in the name of V.K.Goyal, 2A/208, Azad Nagar, Kanpur.
                      Complaining since last four months to retailer, complaint has been attended
                      by local service center S.G.Marketing twice, only washing is done the problem
                      remains same and report submitted by him is OK.
                      When we have written to Hitachi Co. then again they have diverted me to local
                      Service Centre.
                      When we repeatedly written to company, some Mohit Gupta called me from the co.
                      and told us that it will be done within 24 hours.
                      Now 8 days past and my problem is not solved.

                      No use, I am facing the same issue with no resolution, TWO technicians visited my place but could not fix the issue nor agreed for replacement of the defective piece of A/C unit, Hitachi does not admit the problem, suggest you approach the consumer court...and sue them

                        This is a complaint against worst service of Hitachi..i regret of my decision of buying a Hitachi AC..
                        Last year i bought 1.5 tonne AC of Hitachi and because of some minor problem, i called service boy from hitachi for repair..though he rectified that error but in the process he broke the auto-swing flap, which he promised to rectify/ replace within a week. however no one turned up..
                        This summer again we made several complaints to hitachi service centre but the problem persists..once a service boy came at home and without even rectifying the problem demanded money as a visit charge which was refused to be paid...
                        after that several calls have been made to hitachi service centre but the problem remain unattended..
                        this poor service at the end of a company is unwanting and has gone beyond the tolerable limit..
                        It is strongly recommended that nobody should buy any product from this company..

                          PURCHASED HITACHI SPLIT AC ON 29TH FEB 2012 FROM ASHA AND COMPANY CIVIL LINES ALLAHABAD. AC WORKING PREFECTLY TILL FIRST FREE SERVICE DONE BY HITACHI TECHNICIAN ON 11TH JUNE 2012. NEXT DAY PCB PROBLEM STARTED. SENSOR NOT WORKING. REMOTE IN PERFECT WORKING CONDITION YET IT WAS TAKEN AWAY BY HITACHI TECHNICIAN ON PRETEXT OF REPAIR AND NEVER RETURNED. PCB DISPLAY CHANGED SEVERAL TIMES OVER A PERIOD OF SEVERAL WEEKS AND FINALLY ON 7TH JULY 2012 TECHNICIAN TOLD SENSOR NOT WORKING WAS DUE TO CFL LIGHTING IN ROOM. THEN DC MOTOR OF AC STOPPED WORKING. RED LIGHT BLINKING 9 TIMES. TECHINICAN SAYS SPARE PARTS HAVE TO BE ORDERED FROM LUCKNOW. FOR THE PAST ELEVEN DAYS SPLIT AC LYING DEFUNCT AND NON FUNCTIONAL. HAVE MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS VIA PHONE TO LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE AND VIA EMAILS TO HITACHI CUSTOMER CARE ([protected]@hitachi-hli.com) BUT NO RESPONSE HAS BEEN RECEIVED.

                          PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP TO HIGHLIGHT THIS MATTER AND IF THERE IS ANY WAY TO BRING IT TO ATTN OF HEAD OFFICE / GENERAL MANAGER HITACHI IN AHMEDABAD OFFICE.

                          SUB STANDARD AND REALLY POOR SERVICING BY LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE ALSO ..NO RESPONSE FROM THEM .. THEY EVEN TOOK AWAY BRAND NEW REMOTE AND NEVER RETURNED SINCE. AND NOW AC LYING DEFUCNT.

                          I have bought one split ac 1.5 ton from kenstar Jamshedpur in Oct'06.
                          This has started giving problem now.
                          I contacted the service center ( phone no. [protected] cell:[protected](Mr. Shahzad)).
                          They responded very lately. they have filled the gas charged me Rs 1500.
                          Again gas leaked.they took my outdoor to their serviceestation, repaired and fitted...again leakage observed...Then they took my indoor to their service station..filled the gas again...charged me Rs 300.again...again ice is forming at outdoor joints...
                          Then they checked the pipe connection and they repaired the pipe telling that the leakage is from pipe, It took again 15 days.
                          After all, my a.c is not working and I am totally fedup with this kind of service ...
                          This is the kind of knowledge and skill that the Kenstrar persons are having and they are claimimng to be a world class company...I doubt...
                          This way whole summer passed now waiting for monsoon...
                          This way i am still with my problem...my ac is not working...they are telling that they will send their technician...all ...

                          This is the kind of service I am getting...
                          Literally I will never suggest any of my friend to buy any Kenstar product .Also I have changed my attidute to buy any kenstar product.

                          As we are already convenience our problem to one of your Customer care in Ahamdabad and she ensure our compliance will be rectify the last E-Mail which we have sanded and we found we have been sold the damage product because we shift in this office at the month of September and that time we did not used the all the A/C but 2 A/C which we have used both has been refilled 2 time because of leakage of gas and there was some internal wring was also damage where Mr Khana from (S. E. AIRCON PVT.) if this thing will continue we will send you complain and may we change the unit but unfortunately they do not have time to rectify what is actual problem right now the temperature is 44 degree out of 5 unit 1 unit is properly cooling rest them is not working and yesterday we have convenience Please send someone to check and he ensure today morning we will send someone to check but unfortunately till the time we hope this time we will received the reply from you side otherwise we know our option thanks.

                          HITACHI SPLIT A/C SERVICE COMPLIANT - VERY MUCH DISAPPOINT WITH THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR AND UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER.




                          Our AC is not working for the last 1 month. we have raised a request number [protected] and
                          the mechanic visited our place last week and went back without rectifying the problem. He
                          checked and informed the gas is exhausted due to the cable was cut. the service engineer
                          also seen and agreed the reason for the cable cut was due to the poor installation and the cable was
                          clamped on the wall very tightly and tied up with the thread and nailed at the time of installation done in hurry burry.

                          I had paid for this poor installtion Rs.1250/-. This mechanic said it will be charged for rs.2750/- for refilling and cabling. i said it is happened due to the poor installation by your insallation engineer and how can I bear the cost. He agreed and informed he will inform to his office and will take necessary action.


                          I got shocked now my last call was closed without resolving the problem. even your service
                          people didn't call me back as they promised.i took some photographs of cables laid by your
                          people and wanted to share.



                          I called up and raised a new ticket today [protected]



                          I uploaded here photographs of how the cables are clamped tightly on the wall which caused the problem now for your reference. I trust and expect the company will take necessary action on this regard.

                            I purchased a Hitachi 1.5T AC from Croma Store MegaMall Gurgaon (Price 34090/-)
                            It was promised to be delivered and installed on 13th July 2012.
                            It was delivered on the promised date but the installation was not done.
                            On the second day 14/7/2012 when the installation was done, it was found by the Company represetative that the Compressor and the Air Swings are not working.
                            He immediately lodged a complaint and it was promised that it would be attended within 48 hrs. It is the 4th day from the installation day and no one has still bothered to visit and rectify the problem.
                            There has not been a single call also to understand the problem or give a date. My family including a 1 year old kid have to sleep in the heat and humidity as I had disposed off my earlier AC at the time of this new AC installation.

                              I bought and got installed a new Hitachi WINDOW AC - 2.0TR CLASS HITACHI SUMMER QC- RAV322ESD Window A/C from Hitachi Authorized Dealer – “SUPER Electronics, Super Electronics Private Limited Wz-44/2b,Krishanapuri Outer Ring Road,Vikas Puri,Opp Pasty Palace New Delhi - 110018 ( Ph[protected]
                              The A/C was bought on 04 jULY 2012, and was noisy from Day 1 . I filed a complaint on 6th July, after which Hitachi engineer visited after 3 days , did some adjustment, and claim complaint was resolved. A/c Started making the same noise immediately after he left , again filed a complaint on 10rd July 2012 with Hitachi, Same engineer visited again, and this time noticed nothing, He informed me that he will get it replaced next day. I also contacted “Super Electronics” , who claimed installation is perfect from their side, and they have no responsibility. It’s the company that is at fault.

                              What is my fault in all this - I bought a TOP company A/C from its authorized dealer, and its not working since day 1 ( ~ 4th July, and I am complaining regularly since then, there is still no resolution.. I am absolutely harassed by your company officials and your dealer.. Please let me know if there is some one who can help ( without redirecting me to next person), or is consumer court the only alternative.

                                I had purchased 5 ton air condition two years ago direct from hitachi company. We have been shifted in home now. My product is out of warranty. I had registered my complaint on customer care on july3rd 2012 and continously calling them since then.                                   I have complained of no colling of my refrigerator on 23 june to hittachi customer care and after regular calls there enginier visited on 30 june and said that compressor has to be replaced he even took visiting charges from us even though our problem was not solved.since then no one is answreing about our complaint and the customer care persons are also behaving very roudly.. Today is 15. July its almost 22 days of my complaint and it has not been attended yet

                                    We bought our 2 ton Hitachi Window Ac from Pankaj Electronics Massod pur Vasant Kunj New Delhi on 18/ 3/ 12 . Its defective since we bought after many complaints & there visits they replaced the AC 2/ 6/ 12 but the new machine also had the same problem & they tried to repair it but worked for 2 days only & of no use the problem still exists . The knocking sound & as well the thermostat not working . There services are very poor & it seems the company is not bothered about the complaints we never expected this from a company like Hitachi .

                                    it frequenty trips though i have attached stablizer 130-290 and 32 ampere mcb with it
                                    no reply and action taken by deale
                                    please look into the matter
                                    absolutely agreed. I'm facing same problem with Hitachi support after sales service is useless . I'm filing consumer court action soon.

The piece which was delivered was damaged. I have logged the complaint so many times in Customer Care department but no response. I ave called in Service Center also but yet no response.                                         I bought and got installed a new Hitachi Kaze 3Star Window A/C from Hitachi Authorized Dealer – “New Pankaj Electronics, Shop No.6, B-6, DDA Shopping Complex Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Delhi – 110091 ( Ph[protected]”
                                        The A/C was bought on 13May 2012, and was noisy from Day1 . I filed a complaint on 1st june, after which Hitachi engineer visited, did some fan adjustment, and claim complaint was resolved. A/c Started making the same noise immediately after he left. I went out-station for 2 weeks, and after returning, again filed a complaint on 3rd July 2012 with Hitachi, Same engineer (Javed – Ph-[protected]) visited again, and this time noticed that fan was defective (broken casing), He informed me that he will get it replaced next day. After no response for 2 days, I contacted him again, he asked me to contact his senior Nadeem ( Ph – [protected]), I called Nadeem and he said that this was a defective plastic piece and so won’t be covered in warranty, I should contact his senior Mohit ( ph – [protected]) . I informed my problem to Mohit that my A/C is defective since day1, and I was being bullied and made to run from one person to another.. He too was of no help, he gave me his senior’s Number – Mr Shiv Kumar – [protected]) . This number was always unreachable. I also contacted “New Pankaj Electronics” , who claimed installation is perfect from their side, and they have no responsibility. It’s the company that is at fault.

                                        What is my fault in all this - I bought a TOP company A/C from its authorized dealer, and its not working since day 1 ( ~ 15th May, and I am complaining regularly since then, and after 1.5 months, there is still no resolution.. I am absolutely harassed by your company officials and your dealer..
