This is Niranjan Bansal from Bhopal. I bought a brand new Hitachi split AC from Home shop 18 and it reached my address on time. However post installation, it was termed as Dead on arrival by technician. I called hitachi and reported the incident. calling and following up daily for two weeks, nothing was done.

We have made a Preventive Service Contract for our Hitachi Air Condition with 'Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd. The contact period is between 22.09.11 to 22.09.12.

But even after multiple reminders for maintenance work, service personnel's are not turning up and even they are not properly responding to our calls.

I have registered complaint with Hitachi Service Centre under complaint number [protected] dated 23rd May 2012. inspite of calling everyday no one attend the complaint till today 5th June 2012. Its over 7 days since I have complaint about my Hitachi A/Cs low cooling. But forget addressing the same, no technician has even bothered to call. on top of inefficient service they have utter disdain about their customer;s problems. Infact they possibly drive sadistic pleasures out of it. I purchased one 1.5 ton split air conditioner direct from Hitachi on March 24, 2012, from the day of installment it is giving loud sound which is not bearable, two time service engineer came, they could not repair / correct.
I think its manufacturing defect, need an expert to repair or machine is to be repaired immediately, its summer time, we are facing difficult time, we cannot tolerate sound.
