Hi !

Myself, Asit Parida, staying at Shalimar Garden, Sahibabad purchased one Hitachi 1.2 Ton Split AC from Navrang Electronics, Vikas Marg, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi on 29.03.2012(Thursday) and i requested them to intsall the AC on Sunday(1st April). All the items like Indoor Unit, Outdoor Unit, Installation Kit had dispacthed at my flat on the very next day. But till Sunday i did not open any item from its packing. The Hitachi authorised Installation Vendor person Mr Rajendra Yadav(# [protected]) of M/s S. N. Electrical, Vijay Chowk, Laxmi Nagar came to install the same and found that one Plastic part sensing to the remote and which is a part of the Indoor Unit is defective, which could not be installed at that time. He assured that this part will be replaced by Hitachi company at the time of demonstration to be provided by the Hitachi Authorised person. After continuously followup by me for the same to the Navrang Electronics, S. N. Electrical as well as Hitachi Customer Care, one person came on Sunday to give the demonstration, when we queried him about the defective part to be replaced, he refused that this is not the problem of Hitachi, the selling person(Navrang Electronics) has to do the replacement. then when we tried to ask Navrang electronics in front of the Demonstrator, Navrang refused to do the replacement stating that this is the problem of Hitachi and needs to be taken care by Hitachi.

At the end of the day, the defective part has still not replaced , and as a customer, i have to suffer.

Buying a Hitachi AC was a dream for me and now i feel that buying a Hitachi AC was a nightmare for me...

    to the Hitachi ac,i am buy Hitachi ac from Parker electronics on 8 may 2011 from firozabad.my ac is not working properly i m called technician on 27 march 2012 he said that cool coil is chocked then he said that bring this ac to Agra Hitachi service centre .i am going Agra with my ac and meet with premveer Singh a B.tech engineer he also said cool coil is chocked.he said ac coil will changed in 15 days and ac will replace in 6 months .

      Dear Sir/ Madam,


      Hitachi window AC Model No. RAV518ERD was purchased on Jan 25, 2012 & gifted to me. As I was travelling overseas, I could not get the AC installed at my home. When I contacted Hitachi customer care for installation, it was informed that free of cost installation is only provided within one month of purchase including demo or else it would be done on payable basis. Ideally it should not have been the case. If I am procuring a product after making complete payment, then it's installation, logistics, demo, etc.... are suppose to be done by the company.

      Thereafter I had to get the AC installation done on payable basis from outside. Never the less once I started using it, there was no cooling at all. All instructions were read from the manual & followed and I found that AC was not working properly & it worked like any ordinary fan. I had then registered a complaint at Hitachi helpline and one of the company staff visited on April 8, 2012 & certified that the compressor of the AC is not working at all since there is no gas in the compressor and it is a manufacturing defect and not due to mishandling. The company person also said that he would arrange someone from their warehouse to come and pick the faulty AC for repair and no replacement would be done. Person from Hitachi gave us the number as[protected] to contact in case I wish to get my AC repaired.

      On April 13, 2012 I received a call from [protected], stating that the person is calling from Hitachi & wanted to know when do we want to send our AC for repair. I categorically denied & said that I do not need repair & it needs to be changed i.e. replaced as I need a fresh unit. The Hitachi person clearly said NO about replacement.

      I had also contacted the retailer from where AC was purchased but it was of not any use.

      Is it fair on my part that I've got a faulty product of such a renowned company..........why can't it be replaced when your officials have confirmed that it is a manufacturing fault....I need a new unit.

        Sir, I have purchased Hitachi WINDOW AC 1.5 tonnes (MODEL-RAT318HRD) on 10th April, 2011 from CROMA Pacific Mall Plot No. 1, Dr. Burman Marg, Site IV Sahibabad Industrial Area. it worked properly only for some days. then there have frequent problem for poor cooling. i have filled so many complaints in the customer care.The technician does not know any reason or anything technically they simply clean and go.At last I have filled the complaints on 4-4-2012 The room doesn't get cooled, and the AC is not functioning COMPLAINTS NO[protected]. . I have to call customer care a lot number of times. After repeated complaints too no response from the officials.The technician was come and told the problem in gas leakage from compressor . compressor send to Fusion services at B-44 ground florr, sector - 64 noida but there is no response till now. I strongly recommend that the piece may be exchanged as soon as possible. Otherwise i may have to go to consumer forum and file a case regarding the defective piece being shipped to the customer.

          I regret to inform you that i am horribly fed up about the Hitachi Services.I am residing in Kolkata (Dumdum Zone), West bengal.
          I have a Split AC (1.5 ton) Ace Out in my home and it is under AMC coverage.Currently my AC is not working and water in pouring out if we switch on the AC.

          Despite of repeatable call since 4 -April -12 no one attended my service. I have also logged a Web complaint through "Web Call Registration" but still no one provided service till date.The customer care exec also doesn't give any satisfactory answer and repeatedly telling us that service will be provided within next 48 hrs,but service is still not provided till date

          Also there is no provision of complaint no/Docket no of the complaint.Customer care exec informed us there is no such provision.So i am unable to track or provide any ID/No in the next call or cannot track my status of my complaint.

          Hitachi, 1.5 ton Split AC — Not getting the after sale service

          This is to inform all the customers planning to buy AC that I have purchased a HITACHI 1.5 ton Split Air Conditioner from an authorized dealer of Hitachi in Kolkata, which I presume (now sure) the worst decision of my life. From the very next day of purchase the AC starts to give problems. I have given several intimations to the service centre of Hitachi at 188/1/1, Picnic Garden Road Kolkata West Bengal (Phone No. 033 –[protected]. The service centre persons have taken my mobile no. for 33 times (yes, I have counted!) to give me the necessary information very shortly, but till time they didn’t call me. Finally, on 9th June, 2009 a technician from the service center had visited my residence and it was then detected that the AC was not working due to the malfunction of motor, which is to be replaced by the Hitachi. Till time I didn’t get that so called replacement. Probably the service center persons have planned to solve the problem during the winter i.e. after scorching summer. My family members are suffering badly in this scorching summer. I had already taken two days leave from my Office for this purpose.

          SO NEVER BUY ANY HITACHI PRODUCT
          I completely agree with the comments. I will never buy any Hitachi product.
          I have also faced similar problems
          I agree with him.
          For your kind info...gone are the days HITACHi products have poor quality too.

          Its better go for other indian brand like voltas or carrier

          Hitachi — no service aftr sale

          i recently purchased above 25 airconditionr from hitachi. no hearing about service after 2 or 3 month purchasing. i m now totally puzzled saying my complaint in this said co. so i want reurn these ac, plz help me. thx

          Split AC 1.5 Ton — Bad / No Service

          I purchased 1.5 ton Split AC in May 2009 with the offer of 3 free service. During the first free service sometime in Sept. / Oct 09, I ldoged the complaint during the visit of service engineer regarding the cooling problem in the AC. During the vist of the engineer for the 3rd free service on 11th April 2010, I told the engineer about the cooling problem lodged during 1st free service. After checking, engineer told that there is a problem of gas leakage and he will send the engineer in evening by 7.00 PM. No one turned up. On 12th april 2010, I again contacted their call centre. In turn got the call from their service centre. I asked them to send the person on Sunday 18th April 2010. Again no one turned up. When on Sunday 18th April 2010, I contacted their call centre at arpund 3.00PM, I was told that my compliant number C[protected] which was lodged on 10th April 2010 for 3rd free service is closed that too without my consent. This clrearly shows the kind of service which LG provides to the customers. Their call centre do everything to harass the customers asking irrelevant questions.

            i have purchase hitachi window a.c.on 29th April ,2011 and it was working perfectely all over the season,but now when i have call on 29th ,March 2012 for free service the co. eng. has come for service on 2nd April,12 and before service it is also working perfectely. After the service auto swing of one side is not working and co.eng. said i will be replace tomarrow then when i call on next day his says give me copy of bill and i have give the copy of bill on 5th April ( personally ) after they recd.bill ,said you should regd your complaint again on customer care and i have again regd. my complaint on 6th April complaint no.[protected] dtd.06.04.12.pls.help me for short out the problem at the earliest.             Hitachi A.C. — follow me feature not working and machine stops in between while operation.

            the follow me feature of ac is not working.Also the unit stops within half an hour of operation.I did contact the dealer but i did not get any response.
            Kindly look into the matter.

              Hi,

              I purchased a Hitachi Window AC on 5the Apr 2012. And on pre sales inquiry i was assured theat it would take MAXIMUM 48 Hours for AC to be delivered and installed.
              It did not get installed after thee 48 Hrs and when i contacted to store theey redirected me to thee service center phone no and when contacted service centre theey started giving all false clause and are not ready to install thee AC in thee promised time.
              theis is quite frustrating and no body from thee reliance wants to take thee responsibility for theis and resolve thee issue.
              I would request to take thee immediate action on theis so theat theey do not make fool of customers. Its been so frustrating theat after paying all thee amount service is patheetic.

                Hello,

                We have purchased one 1.5 Ton Hitachi AC from Sargam Electronics (Model Town).

                Dealer (Sargam Electronics, Model Town), delivered us a faulty Hitachi AC (Faulty Display Panel with Incorrect Display).

                Dealer sent accross their fitting/installation representative at our home and after completing installation he tried to fool us.

                As per him "Hitachi AC do not have a display (Temperature Reading and other display)".

                On calling Hitachi Customer Care they told us to contact Dealer to change the Faulty AC.

                Now dealer is telling us that they will not exchange anything, also Manager is using such rude language with a customer.

                Please help us in dealing with such bad dealers so that they can not make a fool of their customers.


                Also this dealer had cheated us before as well. He charged us Rs. 1500 for a washing maching stand worth Rs. 1083/-.
                Also this dealer has delivered a used 360 Degree Whirlpool washing machine at our home, which he has exchanged when we told him that this is a used mahine.

                  I HAVE PURCHASED HITACHI AC. THERE WAS PROBLEM FROM 1ST DAY. ONCE THEY HAVE CHANGED THE OUTER UNIT. ONCE I HAVE TO REFIIL THE GAS. STILL THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. I HAVE FILED SO MANY COMPLAINTS IN THE CUSTOMER CARE. SINCE LAST 10 DAYS IAHVE CALLED TO THE CUSTMER CARE 35-40 TIMES STILL NO HAS CAME AND INSTEAD THEY ARE DEMANDING FOR ANOTHER 3500 RS.

                    We purchased Hitachi split ac (1.2 T) ,Model: RAU014EQD/2010 from ur authorized dealer STAR ENGINEERING,MIDC,Dombivli(E). It was installed on[protected].Within few months o[censored]se ,the cooling reduced remarkably.The complaint was attended by the dealer and gas was filled due to leakage.The same problem recurred in subsequent months & every time gas was refilled.                     It is to inform you that I had purchased an Hitachi Air conditioner from one of your dealers in Bhubaneswar namely Bluray Solutions.
                    The grill of this 1.5 ton ac was broken from the beginning and I am not getting any positive response to replace the same from the dealer as well as your service center.
                    The behavior of your attendants is very miserable. They keep on giving times but never turn up. Moreover after getting their pockets filled they just don’t care about the customers.
                    I would like to know the real time required to get this replaced . If it doesn’t happen in a fixed defined set of time I will be forced to go to the consumer court regarding this issue.

                    It would be good if I am provided with a solution as early as possible.

                      We bought an extremely expensive HITACHI refrigerator (model no. R-S37SVND 3 door 438 ltrs NEW) less than 2 years ago and one fine day it stopped cooling. The freezer was working fine but then even that stopped working shortly. We filed a complaint (countless number of times) and after 3 weeks someone finally showed up saying the gas leaked. We paid Rs 4000 for the gas but still the problem was not fixed. Numerous calls were made AGAIN to explain that the refrigerator was still of no use to us (considering the temperature was rising in Delhi everyday and life without a fridge is nearly impossible) they sent a technician who further told us that a part was required to fix the problem which was apparently not available. It has been over 3 weeks since the last technician visited us and yet every time we call for help, they say the part is not yet available. WHY DOES THE COMPANY SELL SUCH PRODUCTS FOR WHICH SPARE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE????? This has been the worst experience ever in buying any home appliance from HITACHI and we are the most DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS and will never ever buy another HITACHI product.

                          we have purchased 14 pcs of split AC of 1.5 ton class logicool and also 4 pcs of 3 tons micro cool cassette AC.
                          During installation of these ACs your Varanasi service center M/S urban marketing ,mahmoorganj,varanasi (incharge Mr K.P.Singh bearing mobile no.[protected]) is badly harassing us since last 1 year and never completing the installation work despite repeated his failure promises. we are very anoid with his such behaviour
                          . we have paid Rs.22500/- advance till today for his partial work. kindly look into the matter immediatly and give him instructions to complete the work immediately without any further delay so that our trust on your good company will become continue in future.

                            I have Purchased One Tata Hitachi EX 200 Lci Excavator from M/s Total Earth Movers on 2011 but from the day there are many problem in the machine. but major problem is the machine chain and flywheel not working normal i compliant many time to service engineer but they say we take dimension and forward to tata Hitachi company they reply for the same i follow many time but till problem not solve .
                            now after one year machine warranty expire the company sent one latter about problem that machine part is normal condition .
                            but till dated machine chain not working properly
                            so pl help me to solve my problem because i am in very depression because that part price is more than 500000/

                            I HAVE BEEN CHEATED FROM YASH CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT(CUST. CODE : 21488). I ORDERED A NEW TATA HITACHI MODEL EX200 ON 1.10.12 FINANCED BY MAGMA FINCORP LTD., BUT YASH CONSTRUCTION DILIEVERED ME A SECOND HAND, ACCIDENTAL MACHINE THAT WAS FIRST BILLED ON 31.8.2012 TO BISEN ENTERPRISES, WAIDHEN, SINGRAULI, M.P.. AND ONE MONTH LATER IT WAS SEND TO ME AFTER PAINTING AND REPAIRING, CABIN AND ALL.
                            DEAR SIR THIS EX200 IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND SUFFERING FROM FREQUENT BREAKDOWNS. I AM NOT ABLE TO OPERATE THIS SECOND HAND, ACCIDENTAL MACHINE IN FREQUENT BREAKDOWNS AND HEAVY MONTHLY EMI.                             SIR I HAD TAKEN MY M/c FROM KAILASH INFRATECH INDORE, my machine is not giving average of diesel. It is gone to 18lit per hour. My m/c is brand new. It hardly 240 hour runed. Please solve my problem otherwise i didnot get any thing from my machine. The working condition is loading of very soft and dry soil.

                            I have TATA Hitachi ex 20 and have regular complaints and the parts are not available. the response from company is very bad. some times even they don't have solution. now the TRACK is regularly coming out and complained many times and there is no response.

                              I Ravikanth Cherekar from Hyderabad.Last year i purchased two Hitachi AC. My complaint is after complaning many times to customer care for servicing which is free for in span of one year.After iam calling many times customer care they just logged the compalint but no response from them.just giving techincal people mobile number.When calling to them just they are saying we are sending tomorrow.But this tomorrow is never turn up tilldate.After i fed up iam giving this compaint.Even manager are very careless about seervice.

                              So i think Hitachi people will take care of this and solve my problem.

                                Hitachi Deskstar 500GB hard drive failure rate 100%. The hard drives in a rave system of four 500GB hard drives have all failed for the same reasons. The drive motors were frozen. This seams to be an engineering defect that is critical for long term storage. After contacting Hitachi on this matter, they did not seem willing to help. It would be my suggestion to look for another supplier of this hard drive to protect your data for long term use / storage.

                                the hard disk is not properly work
                                most of time hard disk will disconnected
                                when i try to format, at that time sound from hard disk like tik tik tik.....
                                so i want to send my hard disk to your service center for checking...

                                  We have ordered one of the Hitachi Dealer for supplying and installing AC unit and we have released paymen also as per PO, but more than 6 months now still the vendor not suuplied the same, we have asked them to return the amount he also given cheque for the same but it was bounced due to insufficient fund.

                                  Now he is delaying how we can move next step, consumer court or criminal court which is quick way to ger this payment.

                                    In March 2011, I purchased Hitachi's 3 Window ACs for home use. Two ACs were 1.5 Ton each and One AC was 2.0 Ton. These were the new model - 5 star rated and advertised as silent in operation. However, right when they were installed, I found the ACs too noisy. I made numerous complaints to Hitachi and despite 2-3 visits by their technician, they were not able to do anything. They continued to tell me that that level of noise is going to be there - so much so for their advertising it as silent ACs.

                                    Last month, two technicians again visited and found some problem with the 2.0 Ton AC and said some part required replacement. They assured that they would visit again in 2-3 days and replace the part which according to them was causing noise. In their service book, I made a remark that the part, as identified by them should be replaced as per their promise. It is over 1 month now and nobody has visited to replace the said part.

                                    I feel completely cheated having brought supposedly 'silent' ACs which make so much of noise. To add to insult I paid more of the 'silent' AC than ACs of other brands. The Customer Service Level is pathetic and exasperating. One expected greater level of service from Hitachi.

                                    I request you to take up my complaint with Hitachi and help resolve it. If they cannot reduce the noise level, they should be gracious enough to replace it. All the 3 ACs are in Warranty still.
