We had bought a Hitachi AC split of 1.5 ton in the mnth of july 20009.within a few days of installing the Ac the remote of the Ac started malfunctioning.after repeated calls to its service centre, the service engineer came and repaired the problem.But again within 2 days the same problem occured. now since the last so many mnths despite our repeated calling the service centre people are turning a deaf ear to our request. and now from the last week they have also stopped picking calls at their office.Pls help as it is a brand new AC within the warranty period

    while installing the A/C
    the inner unit was not worked and they changed the another inner unit
    on the next day.And it was not properly communicated me from your
    office or customer care .

    after some time it was heavy noise from outer unit ,but it took ten days to rectify the
    problem for that i made three copmliant .

    I am purchasing hitachi brand with expensive price (other brands are
    available much cheaper ) for the quality and expecting
    with better service .

    but till today i have not received the reply for the replacement of my a/c

    Hitachi Split A / C — poor service

    no feedback from theirside about delivery and installation.............
    i m disappointed and even suggest not to buy from vijaysales.........
    no phones are working and no response from hours and hours..............
    even callcentres also takes mob no. but no feed back every now then they ask for cell no. but no response.....
    lots of hardships we are suffering and a type of mental torture......

    Purchased by me in may 2010.I haven't got any response from your side.I am

    totally dissatisfied from your side.I had all ready given every information regarding

    my complaint in my previous mails. my complaint number .[protected] i had

    contact to your customer care also but their no any response regarding my

    complaint your excutive told me every time we will resolve your problem but still not done.

      We had bought a HITACHI-1 ton window AC from vijay sales, Sion branch on 27th March 2009.

      After few weeks of purchase, it started giving some weird noise. We lodged the same complaint to the service centre in Prabhadevi (as told by sion branch, vijay sales) and their engineer visited us and identified that there was some problem with the swing operation and he tried rectifying it by several means. Every time we place this complaint with them, some engineer would come and do something and then that noise would be stopped for hardly a day and again it starts. We have put this complaint several times in last one year but none of their service centre guy is able to rectify this.

      We are worried now that possibly there is some defect in this particular piece and same has been told by one of local service centre engineer also. Our AC's warranty would expire by the end of this month and I am struggling hard to get the permanent solution done to this problem before this monthe end. I am trying to contact Vijay sales regarding this but everytime they ask me to contact local service centre. Very poor service, they provide. I am never gonna buy anything from them in future.

      Vijay Sales / Sion Branch - Mumbai — Poor service!

      I have lodge the complain regarding the Nokia BL-5C Battery on 17th August 2007, Still yet I have not received. How long should I still wait for the battery it is very risky to carry the mobile. My Battery Identification Number is[protected]N[protected]. Can I get The reply for this or lose hope in buying the nokia product.

        1. Hitachi A.C.---Double Price, Four times poor Service, Selling Sub-standard products in India---No botheration about its REPUTATION, The moment you pay price—No care about the product, installation, Cash memo, Guarantee Card---Why? No service will be provided hereafter.
        Comprssor Stops working and do not start automatically.
        Automatically switches to Off-mode.
        Electronic panel and REMOTE IS NOT WORKING.
        Kindly apply Quality norms. Why No Service Engineer for the demonstration of the product.
        Apathy towards customers.

        Sir,

        I purchased 1.5 ton Quadricool Twin Motor Air conditioned that we suppose and company declare as the top of the model available in the market. Kindly look in to the points mentioned below:-

        On 4th March 2010, I purchased the Hitachi Winow AC. 1-5T Class QD (TM) RAV018EQDZ1 H from M/S. Rai Enterprises, Authorised Stockists of Hitachi and Distributor for four Districts of Hitachi by paying Rs 25,900/= for machine vide Cah Memo No. 3076 dated 04/03/2010, whereas the other ACs are available in the market with half of the amount with installation from company. Your company takes double of the amount from the customer and kick him out and don’t provide any service in the name of guidance, NO DEMONSTRATION OF PRODUCT. The same machine is available in Rs 24,700/- at Reliance Digital Retail, First Floor, Plot No. 362-363, Lajpat Nagar, Opp Gymkhana Club, Model Town Road, Jalandhar, But regret to inform you that the single Air-conditioned is available with the multi-national company of Repute RELIANCE which has been placed on display. The said Reliance Store failed to deliver the packed piece of Air Conditioned so I have to shell out Rs 1200/- extra. Phagwara’s dealer M/s Johnson Electricals has only two ACs on display and on demand promise to prevail the AC at Rs 27,000/-.
        On 4th March 2010, I purchased AC from Rai Enterprises due to non availability of the product in the market due to the reputation of Hitachi Japan. The said dealer collected money. Not provided appropriate Cash Memo in my name---Written Cash Sales, not signed Guarantee Card and on my request said there is no such provision.
        On 4th March 2010, the dealer not provided the basic guidance, how to operate the AC and having no knowledge that who will install the AC. No guidance about the technician, No company’s provision to install AC though the company charge double the amount of AC available in the market. LG Air conditioner is available in the market with half of the price and the installation of the machine is being done by the company’s technician free of cost.
        The A.C. Technician who installed the machine at our house told that this product is substandard product, We have installed the Hitachi ACs at Maya Towers that also give trouble from the day of installation and the company’s after Sales Service is VERY VERY POOR.
        On installation the said machine Quadricool TM, Firstly the Remote provided with the machine does not work. Secondly the machine get tripped after the running of two-three minutes. The customer care executive says get the cooling level down from 25 to 18 then also it trips and don’t start afterwards.
        On starting the AC--- after starting the fan the machine don’t start compressor automatically. We have to go to Mode function to start the compressor. Which will trip after running 2-3 minutes.
        It seems Hitachi’s selection of dealers in India is improper. Oh God kindly provide justice to the customers.
        Hitachi is selling substandard products in India and has no botheration about its reputation.
        Kindly look in to the matter and resolve the problem at the earliest.

            Window XP don't install my hard disk
            i am inform this complaint to hitachi care but he say i can't help you
            Dear Hitachi Partner,

            Since long we have given the hard disk for replacement as documents attached we R not getting any replacement on time, it is about one month for 1st RMA & person to whom we R contacting on your given ctc No. says that it has been dispatched (shipped) & you will get within 3-4 days & for 2nd RMA still to wait for shipment, so it will be more then Moth to get back.

            Now for replacement If we need to wait for months time we R not at all interested to buy such product in wasting our time & same time investing our product for replacement.
            Kindly note this & do needful i[censored] feel necessary.

            No answer from them as well as from hitachi mail came on 9th that they have dispatch hard disk one hard disk, still we R waiting for that. We gave H/Ds on 15th Jan & 20th Jan (2 H/D) still not came.

              I own a Hitachi Refrigerator R-S31SVND. The fridge suddenly stopped cooling & I called up the customer care on 7th of October 2009 and registered a complaint[protected]. I was told an engineer would come to check the unit soon. After repeated calls daily to the Mathura Road office in Delhi and the toll free call centre no., an engineer (Mr. Joshi) finally checked the unit after 6 days on the 13th of October. He told me that the refrigerant (R600a) needs to be refilled. He promised that it would be done the same day. But it didn't happen. On 16th of October 2009 two untrained, novice technicians from a franchisee of Hitachi arrived with an open, semi-filled can of the refrigerant. I protested and told them that since the refrigerant is so costly, I need to see a new can brought here and opened up in front of me. They made me talk to their Boss (Mr. Ajay) who informed me that it was the one and only can available in Delhi. I called up Ms. Sonal at the Mathura Road office and she told me that it would take 5-6 days to procure a new can and we should make do with the one with the untrained technicians. Later, she again called me and told that in fact, the refrigerant has been transferred from a big cylinder to the small can and it was as good as new (which any sane person knows, is a blatant lie).

              It's been 20 days and I am still without a fridge. That too in the festive season.

              I bought a Hitachi at twice the price of a Samsung or an LG but am utterly appalled and disgusted by the way the company treats its customers. I did not opt for 'Japanese technology' to be mentally tortured and abused. There's still no hope of the unit being repaired any soon. I have pledged not to advice anyone for buying a Hitachi. I do not wish to spend a penny anymore & request to the company to take the unit back and refund my money.

              We bought 1.2 tn Ace Cut Our Split airconditioners ( 2 units ) during April 2009, vide Invoice no 9 dt 18th April 2009, which are installed at 243/241, Sobha Onyx, Near Agara Circle, Sarjapur Ring road, Bangalore. I'm wondering . Repeated Efforts for free Services / inspection ( Due within six months from date of purchase ) with franchisee M/s Concorde Aircoditioning System, Banglore & Hitachi Life Solutions through online cmplaints / mail follow up are failing miserably in getting appropriate response even after more than a year of purchase.

                My landlord purchased the hitachi double door refrigerator on 3rd august, after 2 days he found that the vegetable section is not getting the cooling, we called the hitachi customer care and filed a compliant, their service engineer visited, checked the product and said it's minor fault will be rectified in 3 days, but till now they have not come to rectify the problem. We have called number of times and everytime they say , it will be rectified in 3 days but all in vain.

                One of the customer care executive told me that techincal person are saying even they donot know whats the problem with the refrigerator. Oh God, u have made the product and u donot know whats the problem is.

                even the customer care people are not customer friendly. i donot know when they will solve this probelm.

                the service is very very bad from Hitachi, a bad company

                can anybody tell me what to do now

                  We have purchased a HITACHI Split Cutout 0.9 TON split AC on 15/09/2009 from ANANDAMALA Kolkata. Sales person in the store promised us that they will deliver and install the product on 16th.

                  After whole day no show of any representative from ANANDAMALA we started calling the Dealer.
                  After repetitive call they derived the product in our house after midnight , but they have not installed it. Delivery boys provided one number to contact for installation but nobody available on that number.

                  This complain is against the ANANDAMALA and their false promise. We have several dealers of Hitachi in Calcutta but we purchased from ANANDAMALA as they promised us installation in very next day, but they are irresponsible and careless.

                      Dear Sirs,

                      This refers to our purchase of Window aircondition from your authorised seller Kapila electronis P Ltd on dated 25 june 2009.the same was installed and lately from the last one week we have encountered the following problem
                      Aluminium foil to wrap up the coolent coil has started desaping metling or is giving up way and the entire coolent air coils likely to be exposed,or it could also be leaking which is slowly eroding the Aluminium foil..
                      The complaint was lodged at your distributor at Kapila Electronics on 25 Aug 2009 and your engineer/technician Mr Ranjit Singh of Sheetal Aircon with one of his assistant came on 26 Aug 2009 at 5 PM,has inspected the airconditioned said the matter to be reported to the company for repalcement of this Air condition which has shown manufacturing defect within 60 days of its operation.
                      I therefore,hold your organisation in esteem for your coustomer standards and spent to purchase the costlier brand due to its good will request you to please get this unit replaced by the new one earliest possible so that further detriotation of the machine does not take place and your word of five year guarnatee must hold true

                      As the machine installed at your place by Hitachi authorized service center & trained team. If any this type of coil problem was fade-out issue must be raise from your side at that time of installation.
                      Sir pls try to understand the fact that more than 600 WAC AC sold within 5 month at your west Delhi Area. Not a single complaint we received related to this issue.
                      As all the unit are manufacturing in same factory with same production line. It means all the unit having the same problem, which is not. Again their is no any fault related to manufacturing.

                      For your satisfaction If you want we welcome you to visit another customer place who purchased same AC model in same month (month of June ) from same dealer ( Kapila Ele )& installed by same service center ( Sheetal Aircon ).

                        We baught Hitachi 1.5 Ton Window AC from M/S Prakah Trading co. Shakti Nagar Delhi on 3rd June 2008

                        In the month May 2009 it started creating problem
                        There was complaint of no cooling & a compliant was made to helpline Please Refer to my complaint no[protected] dated 12th May 2009
                        Our AC was taken to service centre for Coil Replacement at :-

                        It's about 3 month only, the same problem arises .
                        We called up customer care and made complaint vide complaint no.[protected] dated 12th August 2009
                        One service enginer Mr Sikandar visited my place & informed me that the gas has been leaked & we will have to refill gas . You will have to pay Rs 2000/- for refilling gas + service charges
                        I asked for an explaination, why it has leaked n such a short time, he has no reasons

                        I took up the matter through WEB Site / sent an e.mail to Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd. My mail was forwarded on 13th August 2009 to Ms Sonal Verma

                        I personally sent an e.mail / called to her and explained my problems.
                        She replied that, she cannot confirm anything till the time she talk to her ASM, who was on leave at that time.

                        I wait for couple of days, sent an e.mail again / called her, she refused to accept her service centre fault & advised me to pay gas refilling + service charges to service centre, i agreed .
                        Now my disappointment / frustration level more increased, when service centre take 2 more days for attending this complaint. Again the service engineer visited, informed that, wewill have to replace coil also. Now you will have to pay 3500/- + 2000/- + service charges
                        I was shocked to know all about

                        I just want to know, why my coils ere not replaced under warranty & now why should i pay for the negligence of your service centre.

                        I have other AC in the sam premies / at of office One LG / wirlpool / One TOYO (Japan)
                        No other AC trobling as of Hitchi
                        My LG ac is working or the past 5 years, never been sent to service station . I have got only routine services only.

                        I spoke to Mr. Ali on mobile no. [protected],
                        "He informed that the sound complaint will be taken care by your area service centre "
                        We have received ac only for gas refilling, we have done our job

                        Your Trinagar service guys clearly told me that without changing coil there is no posibility that it stop leakage !!!
                        We will arrange pickup, the job will be done

                        Mam, what's going wrong with company like Hitachi, such a big company
                        This is a kind of service you are giving to your customers

                        I have returned back my AC to the sam workshop

                        This is final request i am making to all of you, please do needful on urgent basis
                        Get whatever needful to be done as per actual rquirement, not temperory job that i need to undergo unnecessory harrasement once again

                        I have the same type of experience with them. In my past, I was fond of Hitachi brand and I suggested this brand among my links. But, now I am determined not to buy anything branded Hitachi and will convey the same thing to others.

                        I have one 1.5 ton window AC and one Refrigerator 366 Ltrs. And I am not satisfied with the appliances and their after-sale-services.

                        There is only one solution for your problem that is to give them a lesson through the consumer court.

                        what is the model you bought from Hitachi ??
                        DO NOT BUY HITACHI WINDOW AC. THE DAY I BOUGHT THE 1.5 TON QUADRICOOL MODEL, IT STARTED TO GIVE PROBLEMS. NO COOLING, COMPRESSOR WONT START. SERVICE ENGINEER SAID THE COMPRESSOR CEASED. THEY CLEARED THE CEASE AFTER GIVING A SHORT CIRCUIT TO COMPRESSOR. EVER SINCE THE AC IS CONSUMING 14-15 AMPS OF CURRENT WHEN NORMAL IS 11 AMPS. TWO TIME THE REAR MOTOR HAS FAILED AND I HAD TO REPLACE WITH NEW ONE AT INR 3000. NOW AGAIN AC IS NOT COOLING. THEY SAY ITS GAS LEAKAGE WHICH WILL COST INR 6000.
                        EVEN WHEN THE AC USED TO RUN, THERE WAS VERY MINIMAL COOLING AFTER HOURS OF OPERATION.
                        I have had very bad experience with my HITACHI window AC and follow up services. As an IIT Delhi electrical engineer, and a Quality Assurance Officer with 42 years experience, in Quality Inspection and Testing, of a wide range of products, both in India and abroad, I will not (Yes NOT) recommend anyone to buy Hitachi make AC's sold in India.

                        (a) The Company does not care. It makes no difference to them, if as a Customer, you are dis-satisfied.
                        (b) Time taken to attend a complaint ...is never a priority
                        (c) The take-it or Leave - it approach is painful for customers, but who cares?
                        (d) Quality of service(s) offered is at best very POOR, measured even to Indian Standards. Hitachi does not comply to Indian or International Standards
                        (e) There is a lot to write, but in short, my professional advice to potential AC buying Customers is ... JUST KEEP OFF HITACHI. Local (unqualified, uncertified, untrained, electricians and dealers are having a great time, making money, on a poor quality shoddy product. The copper cooling tubes are not copper, the high pressure pipes do not support high pressure over time, leaks develop within months, not years, and gas escapes.

                        My Hitachi SummerCool is doing just fine, had right side flap's motor bursted twice with waranty period... after waranty too it busted but... managing... used almost 3 yrs rigoursly... Now its just not giving anything cool... suspecting a gase leak... would approach to tested local Office technician hope all would be gr8...

                        AC not functioning

                        Split AC 2.0 TR Hitachi is in dead condition.
                        Even after the use of only one and half year hitachi window AC on routine service i come to know AC gas is very low and it will cost 3600₹ to fill...�����
                        A good way to earn money...
                        This is the worst product and service of Big brand HITACHI...

                        they are cheat as well, couple of year back i done through paid service from Hitachi and there service boy had charged INR 750 as service charge and said i will get invoice on mail. but i was not received any invoice, got massage of free service, afterword, chased and went to all possible authority to get the invoice but it was worthless. moreover, in addition of poor service, they are costliest in all the way like ac service charges, visit charges, gas filling, etc. on the other side other brand like Voltas, carrier, Loyed do charge in between 250-350 for window ac but they start from 750 and simple visit charges 500+ tax.
                        i don't see any service commitment from hitachi...

                        Really surprised. I bought hitachi 1.5 ton AC 1.5 yrs back. As proper cooling is not happening, called hitachi service guys yesterday i.e. 21 April, 17 and got to know that there is leakage in coil.

                        I want to know here, under warranty period the same coil leakage problem arised and they hitachi service guy took AC to their workshop and get it repaired (welding). So why the coil was not replaced that time. Now the engineer telling an estimated expenditure of Rs 3250. (2750 for leakage correction and gas filling and 500 visiting charges.).

                        What is this and how can you behave like a low inferior profit oriented brand!!!

                        Also I was surprised to know when HITACHI AC engineer suggested that I should go for getting the coils painted which will avoid any leakages in coil and that would cost Rs 950 ( not done from hitachi side the engineers will do personally).

                        I sincerely request to look into this matter and get my AC rectified at the earliest at no cost burden.

                        Otherwise, Being in a professional life as a customer I'm sure I can convince at least 1000 families in 6 months time for not going to buy hitachi brand device based on my troubled experience.

                        Every year of service they ask rs 3000 for filling gas and their execution team give discount to service for getting service outside . For permanent reaching issue they want me to charge additional rs 5700 by replacing coil.

                          1.Hitachi has sold a product with defective parts as commited by hitachi service team.
                          2 Service team more than 10days to get my AC unit repaired & in the process damaged the fins of my Ac unit.
                          3.The performance of the units has deteriorated after the replacement of D pipe and there is no one from the service to take care of it.
                          the service team has been trying to cover up your faults & justifying me that every thing will go as per you policies & by giving a etented waranty of 6 months. I have my right to get proper justice from the higher authorities if you cant resove the issues.I 'll make sure that the example goes public so that no one in future buys these defective machines.

                            We are those unfortunate customers of Hitachi whose AC in this hot weather has not been serviced for more than a week. We called the helpline number [protected] on August 12, 2009 and got the complaint registered. A technician from Dutt Refrigerations, Uttam Nagar visited us only on Saturday despite several calls since the day complaint was registered and on Mr. Harpreet's request (Area Manager- Dwarka, New Delhi). He didn't have tools to fix it on his visit (Saturday) saying it’s a public holiday so office is closed and he doesn't have all the tools. On Sunday, an email was sent by them to lift our AC from our home but till today it is not being lifted. We have made a number of calls since Monday to Customer care, Dutt Referigeration, Mr. Harpreet, Mr. Bhatti (Sales Manager) and Junaid(he was supposed to lift our ac from our home). Earlier they would atleast talk to us but now there is no response. We keep on waiting the entire day as they keep on changing the schedule from morning to afternoon to evening to next day. It’s the height of our tolerance and patience.

                            We want to HITACHI to take their ac and pay back us its cost. We would be highly obliged. Because no monetory compensation could compensate our sweating out in such hot weather, discomfort, tension, agony and our valuable time wasted in constant followups.

                            Last time too when we got our AC re-installed/ serviced by the same service center, they kept us waiting for almost a fortnight. We had registered the compalint on April 17, 2009 and the technician(Rajesh) visited us first on April 26(after several calls/ requests) only to tell us that he didn't have the tools and he would come next day with another person and tools, only to return on April 30. He gave us his phone number to call up if we have any issues. The next day we called him to complain that there is a gas smell from AC and its not cooling properly. He told us to wait for 3-4 days the smell would subside and it would be fine as it's been serviced recently. We waited for two days more and again registered a complaint on May 05, 2009 and called him to come but no one visited us. The smell slowly subsided and we thought possibly he was right(Alas! We trusted him thinking he is qualified enough) but now the cooling isn't just as effective and in fact its not cooling at all and we again registered a complaint(only to keep waiting). Even after paying so much for the brand(going by the reputation) its PATHETIC after sales service.

                            Please take away the unit and pay back our money as soon as possible.

                              My sister purchased a 3-door refrigerator on 26 Dec 2006. The same broke down on 25 Jul 2009. Hitachi representative turned up to attend for the first time after 96 hours but could not fix the defect. Without being certain, he changed a PCB and charged Rs.4, 000-the fridge, however, did not work.He then put the blame on the internal wiring and suggested getting the same and the earthing checked by an electrician. So was done but nothing was found amiss after spending the service charges of the electrician. The same technician reluctantly turned up after a couple of days and changed the PCB with another one on two consecutive days but the fridge remained defiant.After unabashedly fiddling with refrigerator for two days the technician went off, not to come back again and to our relief. The service supervisor was contacted and he started making tall talks stating such problem was never encountered by them and they were seeking advice from Hyderabad. The fellow assured us that solution having been provided from Hyderabad they would come back to us within a day or two. From hereon, the spervisor preferred not to receive our calls over his mobile.The service provider, perhaps seeking some divine solutions, kept themselves aloof for several days.In Kolkata, at least, Hitatchi did not appear to have a competent person who would be able to solve the problem or at least patiently hear the problem. The dealer - Great Eastern Stores who sold the refrigerator at a cost of Rs.35, 000, approx shunned away by stating that guarantee period was over.After several days, reportedly, a more competent technician was sent but as fate would have it, there was no power during his one and a half hour's stay and he preferred to go away without bothering to come back again. On query only, we were told that he fell ill.What a pity, a self-professed world renowned company, selling home applinaces at the highest prices, was dependant on a single service technician and shirking supervisors.The fridge continued to remain out of service and on calling the service provider as well as Hitachi, the standard reply was the technician would go the next day which did not arrive.Today (17 aug 2009), morning, the technician was called again and he took several minutes to gauge what was the complaint about. Finally after 22 days, they have decided to lift the fridge for repairing an undisclosed destination tomorrow and that without any clue of the type of repairing required.When told to provide a stand-by fridge since they failed to rectify the same in so many days and had no clue as to the number of days still required, the reply was that the same was not the practice with Hitachi. The company, surprisingly, also does not have arrangement of AMC, as told by the attending technician.I want this to have a lrge publicity.

                              This is really pathetic state of MNC like Hitachi. They must have good technicians and heart to state the facts even if it causes some loss for just one fault location. I would like to express my interest in knowing what other buyers of this product want to say about it? I am myself planning to buy this fridge, but now getting scared of buying it because of such a bad quality of after sales service. We don't get money from trees, it is hard earned money.
                              I suggest you to go to consumer redressal forum. They will teach them a good lesson.
                              Good to see your complaint. I was planning to buy this brand and now decided against it.
                              i was seriously thinking of this fridge..thank god..i wont buy it now..let hitachi prove their worth..

                                    We have purchased two Dual flow window aircons - 1.5 tons and 1 ton in March 2008. In the first three months the 1.5 ton aircon stopped working and initially nobody attended to it from Hitachi then after the intervention of the dealer Sumaria from Mumbai ; we had the service engineers visit and informing us that the PCB has gone bad, this took one month to set right. The company refused to replace the product even though it was only a couple of months old. After another couple of months the swivel vent motor stopped working this was again a long wait to set right. Another couple of months and again it stopped working. This took again the dealer to get it the engineers over.
                                    Last week the 1 ton aircon stopped working this time it took four days for us to contact the National aircon service station which informed that we had to log in the complaint on the tollfree number. Having done that the Engineers have now informed that the 1 ton aircon also has a PCB problem and will have to be repaired ; it will not be replaced.
                                    I find it very exasperating that after paying a premium for the brand name the product itself fails within months of installation and not one but both the aircon stop working this is unacceptable from Hitachi.
                                    At present the 1 ton aircon is still under repairs .
                                    I am not sure if Hitachi products are right for Indian market

                                      Please find below my conversation with Hitachi. I am still waiting for the resolution :

                                      This is a very irresponsible statement to make. Concealed piping was done by third party & I am not talking about that.
                                      What I am talking about is the condition of insulation on the pipes which are open & were put by Shiva while connecting outer units with concealed pipes.

                                      BTW my concealed piping was done as per Diaken standards using best quality "Black color rubber insulation" & the insulation which is worn out is the one put by Shiva.
                                      Mr. Jasbir from Shiva made a statement " Hitachi supplies inferior quality insulation" & his technician has inspected the site & said the same thing.

                                      You should first investigate & use your our judgement, even your technician who visited the site acknowledged that it is Shiva's + Hitachi's fault.

                                      I request an immediate solution. I again request you to connect me to senior authority if it is beyond your authority.

                                      I would like to showcase to your senior management the kind of quality Hitachi supplies in India.

                                      As per my discussion had with you that Insulation over Piping is worn out .Piping with Insulation has been done by third party ( other then Shiva before buying the AC) as per inspection by engg. Insulation on piping is required we can fix the same but you have to pay charges for that.

                                      Please confirm for action so that work can be completed.

                                      I would like to bring to your notice the stress & mental trauma I am going through ever since I bought Hitachi A/c’s from Shiva Air conditioning.
                                      I bought 5 units of 1.5 T split Hitachi ACs from Shiva Air conditioning in March 2009 after Mr. Jasbir from Shiva managed to convince me that he can provide excellent support both in terms of Installation, commissioning & post sales support. Once I made 100 % payment for the A/c, the real horrific experience started. The installation was done by one man team who did not seem to be very professional. No procedures were followed during the installation as laid down by Hitachi and clearly indicated in service manuals. Since mine is a newly constructed site, the concealed piping was recently done. Shiva team did not bother to flush the pipes or check the electrical connections, instead simply installed the inner & outer units at their respective positions. After installation, he switched on the machines & showed me that inner units are throwing cool air. Despite my repeated requests, nobody from Shiva bothered to give me demo or do the commissioning. Just to
                                      highlight that you were also very well aware of the fact & you assured me of the proper installation & commissioning when you visited my site. But to my shear disappointment, I was not given the kind of service I was promised by so called professional company – Hitachi. After few days itself the insulation done on the visible copper pipes started getting worn out. I brought it to the attention of Mr. Jasbir’s from Shiva. He immediately ridiculed it saying that Hitachi supplies inferior quality insulations. I lodged a complaint at Hitachi Complaint Centre following which Hitachi engineer came for inspection. It was very well acknowledged by your engineer that Shiva has done a pathetic job.
                                      The experience I am having with Shiva & Hitachi has made me suffer both mentally & physically. This has impacted my health & my productivity at my office. Despite having invested more than 1, 60, 000 INR on Hitachi ACs, I am facing mental harassment & physical discomfort.
                                      Since I trusted Hitachi & invested in its product, I would like Hitachi to solve my problem - directly or through dealer. I request Hitachi to immediately get the installation corrected else I will be forced to make Indians aware of the reality of this Japanese brand which provides inferior product & service in our country.
                                      Please let me know if this needs to be brought to the attention of Hitachi’s Top Management & I will make sure my plight reaches the right ears.
                                      I hope my problem will get resolved soon without dragging me into “Company – Dealer” dispute.

                                        I contacted to Mr. Ravi Sharma (Sales Head, Chandigarh) for the query regarding HITACHI Window AC performance as well as Post sales support as compare to OGENERAL, CARRIER and VOLTAS. I was confused for it’s after sale support and performance. He assured me for the High performance (better than OGeneral) and brilliant post sales support. I had trust on him and ready to buy the AC unit, he referred me to Mr. Arun Jain (M/s.Cooling Centre, Rohtak) for the purchase of AC unit “HITACHI QUADRICOOL TM 1.5 Ton” Model No.RAV 019EOD. I purchased an AC unit SR. No.090D19261 from M/s. Cooling Centre, Sonipat Stand, Rohtak-124001(Haryana) for Rs.25800/- vide Cash Memo no.1753 dated 15.05.2009. Unfortunately, the unit has been found physically damaged in sealed box, 40% of its aluminium FINS already twisted. I informed to Mr. Ravi ji and dealer, dealer inspect the unit and agree to replace with new one. The AC unit has been replaced with already uncovered DEMO unit SR.No.090D19089 on dated 22.05.2009.

                                        Right from the beginning, on dated 27.05.2009 AC unit has been installed but it does not perform well. Its cooling was least effective as well as poor than an air cooler even after whole night continuous operation. I complained to Mr. Arun Jain (Dealer) on dated 28.05.2009, the service engineer named “Shri Parsad” has been inspect the machine and gave his first excuse that the unit has been installed at height of 6’2”.Due to this, Hitachi AC unit didn’t perform well while nothing like that with other reputed brands. Truth is something differ, the another AC unit of reputed brand has been installed temporarily at same location. It’s performed very well and chills the room at 23O C just within 2 hours and 10 min. while the ambient temperature was 34OC.But still they people not agree with me and said that “Hitachi Machine is differ from others” so Re-install the machine. Dealer assured me that if still it’ll not perform he’ll pay me.

                                        I co-operate with them and the unit has been re-installed at the height of 5 feet (Center of room) on dated 18.06.2009.I spent Rs.4000/- more for the specially made physical alteration and changes for the installation by carpenter.

                                        Finally, truth can never hide, AC unit perform as usual and till now the problem remain unsolved. It’s performing poor than Air Cooler but like an Air Cooler with additional features. But I never forgot that, I spent Rs.25800/- (for Costliest AC) + Rs.4000/- (for installation as per dealer) =Rs.29800/- for chill cooling effect and uniform cooling not for an Air cooler with remote etc.

                                        For the same, I contacted to Mr. Ravi Sharma (Sales, Chandigarh) but I m shocked from his unexpected reply, he replied that “Why you bother me? It’s not my duty to hear you. Contact to service centre”.

                                         Some of false commitment and fake information provided by the dealer and Mr. Ravi Sharma at the time of pre-sales enquiry are as following:-
                                        1. Hitachi AC cools faster than OGENERAL, VOLTAS, BLUE STAR and CARRIER.
                                        2. Faster and Maximum AIRFLOW.
                                        3. Chills the room in a very less time.
                                        4. No comparison with SAMSUNG, LG, GODREJ, WHIRLPOOL etc.
                                        5. Lowest electricity Consumption.
                                        6. No.1 in window AC’s.
                                        7. Best after sale support.

                                         Some of the excuses given by dealer:-
                                        1. Due to screeching summer it’s less effective. [While others AC is perfectly working]
                                        2. They agreed that its flow is slow that’s why it takes time to chill the room. [Double time than others]
                                        3. Due to double air flow design, this model has a problem, even they also discussed with company technicians. [Still they are selling and make customer fool]

                                        I tried to contact with Mr. Vinay Kapil (Service Head, Haryana region) but didn’t respond me properly and till now ignoring my phone calls. I contacted to Mr.Arun Jain (Dealer) on dated 17.07.2009 to show the expert report which has been inspect at my end. Even I want to know that, Still he is able to solve my problem or not? But Mr.Chandramanik (Partner, Dealer) replied in the presence of Mr.Arun Jain “if you need solution then go for Consumer Forum and complaint against HITACHI who is manufacturing the product, not us.” along with that he misbehaved with me and use abusive language as well as his son tried to beat me.

                                        Now, it’s the end of my patience, same time I contacted to Mr. Mittar Shah (Country Head, Hitachi) and reported him about the incident and he assured me for the resolution. On dated 17.07.2009, luckily I got a call from Mr. Vinay Kapil Ji and I shared my whole incident with him. He promised me to personally visit at Rohtak for the refund/replacement. Now, I m fad up because of irresponsible behavior and follow up with above mentioned guys. It seems as if I did some crime taking the Hitachi AC, its worst mistake of my life.

                                         Problems with my AC unit from the date of installation are as follows:-
                                        o Very Less Cooling.
                                        o Poor Airflow.
                                        o Takes more time to cool like air cooler.
                                        o Sometimes running (operating) whole night to reach the desired temperature but never reached after continuous operation.
                                        o Sometimes Compressor stops working or not able to start automatically.
                                        o Sometimes thermostat doesn’t cut even reached at (25oC) desired set temperature.
                                        o Consumes more electricity.(Approx 25% higher than others)
                                        o Automatically switches to OFF mode.
                                        o Filter Clean Warning Indicator while filter is cleaned.

                                        I request you to help me regarding refund my amount as early as possible. After that bad experience, nobody wants to continue with HITACHI. It had not only the manufacturing defect since beginning and act & conduct of Dealer and Company officials also remained rude and irresponsible in providing service the AC Unit to me which certainly proves the deficiency of service. I could not get any resolution for the purpose I purchased moreover I involved in contacting and has thus resulted in physical and mental agony to me.

                                        Most of the Indians are cheated by HITACHI due to weak INDIAN Govt. policies and time consuming legal support. These types of foreign companies are continues selling their poor quality products without any hesitation. Indian Govt. should banned these products and apply quality norms strictly as applicable in other countries.

                                        Hitachi Air Conditioner — Poor Product/Service

                                        I had bought a Hitachi Air Conditioner almost 5-6 years back thinking, it being a high priced, premium product would last longer and give me peace of mind. But on the contrary, it has proved to be just the opposite. It has lasted the shortest period of time and the service/support for this is pathetic. The AC had vibrartion problem for the last 3-4 years which the so called "Hitachi service experts" could not resolve. I have spent 30% of Product price for service, yet the product is a pain in the neck...

                                        I have decided never to buy a Hitachi product in India and would not recommend this to others. Please do not be fooled by the jazzy ads and end up paying hefty premium for this product and get the pain of your life...

                                        Hitachi Air-Conditioners — Poor post-sale support

                                        Wew bought a window AC two months back. It developed snag last week (Wednesday). Since then we have been trying to get the issue resolved but are not getting any professional help. Service Centres are of no help. I got a written confirmation yesterday ( July 5th) that the problem would be resolved same day, but the technician could not fix the problem.
