I am Jitander Singh and have purchased a Hitachi airconditioner on 19th April 2009 through Sham Lal Krishan Lal, 1/206/28, Sadar Bazar, Delhi Cantt an authorised vendor for Canteen Store Depot (army canteen).

illiterate technician

RIght from day 2, it started giving noise. ven after multiple visits from technicians, they were unable to figure out the problem. After a year it was found that the blade of the fan was broken.

Do we pay such a high proce for such service??

The funny part is that after few calls they would even stop listening to you.

GOD save us from these unprofessionally managed companies.

Instalation technicians are fradulent

Hi all,

I would like to bring to your notice a recent event in which a hitachi india technician tried to cheat me by quoting outrageous amounts for additional items which were required for the installation of my hitachi split a/c.

I bought a Hitachi Quadra cool Window AC from Viveks and co on February 2008. It was delivered on second day and installed. But from the day one of the installation the AC was making a grinding noise . The AC was suppose to be silent one. But the noise was initialling like whistling. Then it aggravated. Manufacturing defect

I bought this model after comparing its technical specification as claimed by Hitachi and Hitachi's brand image with other manufacturers from its dealer M/s Shyam Enterprises, Bhilai(Durg) on 30th Jan 09. No aftersales service

hitachi has the worst aftersales service in Delhi.
after months I am still waiting that someone would show up!!
there refrigerators are not fit for indian summers ....

After Sales Service

Too bad isn't the word!! They have taken 3 weeks only to respond to our complaint and the damn attitude!!! Avoid Hitachi products if you can....

Home town is not taking the responsibility of the fault

WARRANTY COMPLAINT

I purchased HITACHI AC ..it worked fine for 1 months after that it DIED...no COOLING...nothing..I complaint in HITACHI customer care..No response..area service manager is not responding..its really hard to live in INDA (Faridabad, HARYANA) in this time..temp goes to 45, 46...nobody is taking care of anyhting..area manager said they dont have any stock.they keep on delaying...now they said it will take 15 dayz to get the new one..coz STOCK...

Substandard quality of product

Bought very expensive 1 ton Quadricool twin Motor top of the line window Air Conditioner 2.5 yrs back. The A.C technician while installing informed me aboout substandard Printed circuit board (PCB) used by Hitachi, but I did not believe him since Hitachi is a reputed Japanese company. Unfortunately after the initial one year the PCB has burnt out twice (just after warranty period).

The authorised repairing agency in Mumbai...

No customer service

The AC does not work...The AC guys check and say AC is working and it is a stablizer fault and the stablizer guys say it is the AC Fault...it goes round in circles...when we pay so much for installation and then for the machines as well I HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR SERVICE

I NEED THEM TO APOLOGIZE TAKE THE MACHINES BACK AND RETURN MY MONEY. I AM A WORKING WOMEN AND IT IS A MENTAL HARRESMENT...

FRIDGE COMPLAINT

1.I purchased a fridge, model R-Z440AND6K on 31 Dec 06 from KD Electronics Noida.
2. The fridge did not work properly from DAY 1. During the winters (first two months) it was cooling slightly and as soon as summers started, the cooling became totally ineffective.
3. Despite repeated complaints and check ups by the HITACHI Service centre representatives, the complaint has not been addressed.

compressor not working

i purchased a hitachi 1.5 ton split a/c and within 10 days it stopped working and a service engineer of your company got the compressor changed after 15 days of begging him. but the a/c didnt work at all so engineer said that there is some voltage problem so i called an electrician and he checked the line thoroughly but didnt find any fault with line ans well as stablizer, infact i have been using general a/c on same point for over10 years...

Ductable air conditioner.

An air conditioner of 11TR ductable has been installaed in the month of March 2006, after 2 years and 3months the coil of the machine has gone bad. This pauses a question mark on the quality of HITACHI airconditioners. Hope that this can be taken as a benchmark while considering the Hitachi. Even local make airconditioners performs in a better way....
