Company is not repairing air conditioner. Its in warranty, still after complaining on daily basis no one is taking it seriously and just making fool of mine

    I purchased a window ac 30 days back.
    My decision was wrong to take hitachi even voltas or ogeneral much better in everything.
    Engineer was untrained in hitachi even they do not know how to rectify the complaints.
    I already a registered a complaint many times.
    Sometimes screw was missing.
    Sometimes some sounds came from back engineer was told that kbhi kbhi aati ha yeh awaaz.
    Sometimes compressor do this kind of things. Compressor is not working properly after trip in night compressor will take 1 hour to start.

    In this air conditioner compressor is not working properly from date of purchase till now..
    Plz replace this ac with new ac.

    I don't why the happened with hitachi?

      Hi team,

      I have been chasing hitachi from last 02 months but my issue is not yet resolved.

      I have requested them to visit my place and check the condition of my air conditioner.

      Its been 02 months now since i am escalating the issue with them, there is no engineer visited my place who can identify the problem of cooling, tripping and low air flow.

      They just charge the gas and finish their job and after 02 - 03 hours the condition of air conditioner is same, no cooling & ac trip after every 05 minutes.

      Hitachi team is closing the case immediately, as they do not want to resolve the customer's issue and just want to close the complaint so that they will get next case.

      I am of fed up of being asking their service team to clean the inner and outer unit properly but they never listen to us.

        I have been a loyal customer of Hitachi since 2007.

        Keeping in view reliability of Hitachi products, I purchased Split ACs of DC Invertor Mode for my new home at Jammu in[protected]. First Split AC purchased from M/s Globus Power Systems, Jammu, was installed in April 2018. This DC Invertor Mode AC has been getting repeatedly defective since the 1st year under Warranty (its PCB had gone defective during warranty and was replaced in early 2019. The AC gets its power from a high performance Voltage Stabiliser installed by your dealer, M/s Globus. During balance part of 2019, this AC was sparingly used since both my children work outside J&K.

        This year AC season at Jammu has started in month of May due to some climatic change/Corona effect and my children are at home using the AC only at night. On 6th June 2020, again the earlier replaced PCB has gone defective and on lodging the complaint dealer rep is asking for replacement subject to payment, which is unreasonable and not acceptable and till date AC remains unserviceable. Company dealer and Incharge Service Center Jammu fail to appreciate customer's perspective and allay grievance.

        I consider this repeated PCB failure as a manufacturing defect and would request the esteemed OEM, Hitachi to get it replaced free of cost. Also, the AC assembly may please be re-examined to locate the manufacturing defect which is leading to such repeated failures of PCB, even when protected by a so called high performance Voltage stabiliser installed by your dealer.

        I request the Company principals take immediate corrective action to resolve this complaint at the company's cost considering the repeat PCB failure as Warranty liability and oblige, so that customers' loyalty and your product reputation do not take a hit, construing as a New policy of victimising customers by high cost service by using sub-standard components getting repeat failure - akin to Chinese products (?). Hope Hitachi lives upto its past reputation like other Japanese Companies, and oblige.
        I have emailed my grievance to Customercare as well as Hitachi MD, Sh. Rajiv and also local dealer.

          The technician working under Mr Azad is local of Nawalgarh that is within 5 km periphery. Inspite of multiple calls MR AZAD did not send the technician but allocated him jobs distant from Nawalgarh. I said to Mr Azad that I will complain regarding this to higher authorities, He said it does not matter to him. Kindly look into the number of calls done by me. screenshot attached.
          Today morning he threatened me on phone that you do whatever you can not cancel my service franchisee.
          I said that this type of poor service will automatically cancel your service franchisee.

              Dear hitachi,

              I have purchased the hitachi split ac 1.5 ton on 27th december 2015, have start getting the problem in the ac from 2019, have register the multiple complaints after that but every time service engineer visited and tell me the new problem occurred, since last year initially service engineer said there is a problem in the outdoor unit (Compressor), so will replace the part, post replacement its still not working then they have ask me to replace the indoor unit as there some leakage in it and same doesn't cover under warranty hence i need to purchase the same, which i did and again spend around 10 thousand considering at least its now it will work because both outdoor and indoor unit replace, but it again doesn't work and i have been talking multiple follow up till then, hitachi team cancel the complaint without even any consent or resolution, again this time i have raised multiple complaint and follow up and after repeated calls and follow up service engineer visited, have narrete the complete issue to him on which he said we don't about your previous issue or complaint because we have taken hitachi service from this year only in chandigarh, they checked the issue and said there is a problem with capacitor and for that i have to pay 1000 for the part and 2700 for gas refilling again have agreed to pay, so afterwards they came to replace but told another 1 more issue that condenser coil outdoor unit has leakage for repair it will cost around 7-8 thousand, on that i said thank you very much for your kind services, will put this hitachi ac in garbage and it's better i should buy new one because after escalating the issue to the top of the level

              But seems like top of the head of the service department is also very busy and doesn't have time to look and try to resolve the issue and local service team is extremely rude and impolite and also threatening that do what ever or complaint anywhere, we have already told our company about the same.

              I must say what a confidence of your service team that put efforts to pre notify the company that customer will complaint but doesn't put any efforts to resolve the issue.

              Will never buy any product of hitachi and try to ensure no body else also in my near and dear ones.

              Hitachi are you really taking these complaints seriously or you are just replying only for the sake of doing it.

              However, you still did not answer all my questions which have raised in the initial email

              Or i guess you have probably don't want to get into the details, so let me again reiatrate for your better understanding

              1. Firstly, i have raised this complaint last year and complaint no.[protected] and this complaint was raised on 11th July 2019, on that complaint unit was replaced but issue still doesn't resolved, therefore have raised another complaint on 5th Nov 2019 with complaint no.[protected] and again same canceled without any resolution- could you please help me understand the reason why these complaints were not resolved or you guys are waiting for the warranty to be expired and we can charge from customer????

              2. Secondly, i[censored]nit change last year only then how come it's possible it was working and issue remain same this means you guys again installed the faulty unit only.

              3. Third, outdoor unit warranty is for 5 years minimum and have purchased this AC on 27th Dec'2015(i guess you have not check your records).

              Let me know, if you guys need any artifact for the same(have all the records available, if you guys can't find it)

              And have given enough explanation to you guys and i would really recommend to please check the case history before even making call or reply over email

              Lastly, i have already put your ac in the garbage box because of your great services, now i don't need any service assistance from any of your engineer.

              but i am getting the case register in the consumer court for the harrasment Hitachi done from last 2 years.

                I bought a hitachi 1.5 ton inverter ac on 24th may'20 from entertainment paradise.. First struggled a lot for the installation, after so many follow ups installation has done after a week from the purchase date.
                Due to my wife health issue, i hvnt used ac for next two days from the date of installation.
                After two when i was on the ac, i am surprised that the ac is not cooling. I lodge a complaint for the same to higher authorities of hitachi mr. Rajiv and rajesh nagri but there was no serious action taken by them.
                After multiple follow ups, their technician came and confirmed that gas is not available.
                It was seriously very surprise for me that at that time.
                After fixing the gas issue, some irritating noise came from indoor unit, which is still coming.. Sometimes i feel l bought a cooler on my hard earned money instead of ac because it's noise very badly.
                Then again i have logged multiple complaint for the same.
                For which their service technician come and check and fix the sound by stating now it will not come sound.
                After an hour or two again that comes even more than before.
                Then finally said they will replace the indoor unit but i don't know how much they will take and who is the responsible for this.

                Note: i have mailed multiple times but not received proper revert from them

                I have been harrased a lot and in this covid 19
                Situation multiple technician came for the inspection and the fix the issue.

                Who is going to bear this pain...
                When i will get the resolution
                What is the guarantee that due to this indoor unit, outdoor will not effect on this

                  This is the complaints of my hitachi window ac which i purchased from dhruv electronics ludhiana financed through bajaj on date 02june 2020. I am surprised by this dealer that even no single free service of ac is provided to me by the dealer. When i contacted hitachi company for service they are charging me for service as the product has not been entered in their record by the dealer. The dealer is also not helping me. I request you kindly look into the matter and necessary action should be taken against dealer.

                    I had already mailed to hitachi official email thrice but their is no reply from the company side it's now 1 month still pcb has not been changed. I also loose warranty now, i don't know what kind of service they are providing and why this pcb is made so stupidly that costumer face so much problem, also the company is not looking through that.
                    Please rectify this problem asap and also don't ask me to mail you because i had already done that.

                      My hitachi inverter ac 1.5 ton suddenly stopped working. I have raised the complaint on 28 june 2020 and till now the issue has not been resolved. Firstly, i struggled with the technician to visit my premises to identify the problem. After 2 days of continuous calling, technician visited my premises and said pcb is faulty and he has order for new pcb as we have taken the extended warranty for pcb from hitachi. From 30 june till now, pcb has not replaced and no body is informing us about the progress on the pcb replacement. Please let me know with exact timelines when will this be replaced as m suffering a lot during this to and fro movement of my request.

                      Very pathetic service, please resolve this asap as nobody is responding even after escalating through emails and calls.

                        I have purchased 1.5 ton split inverter a. C last year (2019) and just after an year it stopped working. Technician visited and said that outdoor unit pcb is at fault and charging around 9500/- for it. I am just shocked after hearing the repair charge. I am not aware of the exact cost, but if i need to spend this much amount just after using an year then this is highly disappointing. Not recommended to purchase hitachi product.

                          I had purchased a window ac as on 22 may 2019 from vijay sales, pitampura, delhi.
                          I have been trying to get the service of my ac under warranty since last 3 months, but i am not able to get the same from hitachi. I tried to contact through phone but answering machine did not register my complaint. Then i filed an online service request form from their website. That also goes unnoticed. Finally i got their customer care number from vijay sales and registered my complaint. When i did not get a reply for several days, i once again called the number. But to my surprise i was told that the number is for registering complaint of dealers only. I was given another number for consumer complaints. But the answering machine did not allow me to register my complaint. Now i once again called vijay sales and asked them to register my complaint on their behalf. The complaint finally got registered. But now i got a call this morning that the service shall be done but on pay to basis. I have been trying to contact the company through different ways but could not get in touch. As there was lock-down for 2-3 months, i can understand that all services were on hold. But, now the things start moving. So hitachi should provide free service taking 2-3 months non-service period into consideration.

                            I have bought a hitachi 1.5 ton split ac. It got some pcb problem. I have lodged a complaint with the service centre 3.5 months back. 3 different technicians have visited in total 7 times completely misjudging the problem and providing no solution. Completely fed up with the follow ups.. But all in vain.
                            Their after sale service is very bad. All i get calls saying they are looking into the matter and update me. However no action has been taken yet.
                            Just to add..ac is not even a year old

                              Hitachi. Is looting me. I bought hitachi inverter split ac 1.5 ton last year in may. After 13 months o[censored]se it stopped working. When i called hitachi technician he is saying that outer unit pcb is damaged because of voltaz fluctuation and cost of repair is 10 thousand rupees. There is microtek stablizer also installed. Warrenty was 12 months and it stopped after 13 months. So in just 1 year it is costing10 thousand repair charges that's is around 30% of the cost of ac. This is disgusting and loot. Bad quality product and i am being cheated. How can fluctuation happean when stablizer is installed. I stay in society and power is already stablized. Never faced issues with power earlier.

                                  Purchased hitachi merai 3100x inverter ac last year, & since then it was not providing effective cooling. Registered complain to hitachi service support, their technician visited & shared that there is no issue.

                                  This year problem of no cooling intensified & i have again reported the same to hitachi through service request no. [protected]. Many time their technician visited (Hitachi does not have their technician, they have given their service contract to local vendors who provides service in behalf of hitachi), and they were unable to find the root cause. They do not even had a know how to check the different components of ac.

                                  Each time they have said that different parts of a. C. Is under break-down.

                                  They also brought the part (Pcb & blower motor) for replacement, but these parts were not sealed & not identified that they belong to hitachi.
                                  I have checked with hitachi service center (Toll-free no.) & i was informed that from the local vendor (With service contract) has not given any order of replacement parts & it was also not updated that there is a need to change the parts (Though the complaint was older than a month).

                                  I have also escalated my concern to manager, service hitachi, but no proper action has been taken.

                                  I require a complete replacement of my ac and also the compensation.

                                  Your local team has already visited (4 times) butwere unable to find the root cause of problem.
                                  Please send someone from Hitachi ( service engineer/ trainer), who has good knowledge of troubleshooting. And he may be able to check the fault in PCB and in indoor DC motor unit.

                                    My registered number is not working.
                                    Few days back i called hitachi and told them this thing so they changed the number.in their records they have even not entered my right address but the strange thing is ac came at right address and installation b oh y also came at right address but when i called for service thay are telling me that the address you are telling is not that same wow. Also he said what your installation is not done through hitachi service but i installed my ac only by contacting hitachi. That installation boy only gave me one number [protected] saying that if you face any problem then you can contact on this number. After some days of installation i found that water is leaking from compressor so i contacted the same number that installation boy gave me and hitachi employee only picked it up that time and i told the problem and their service boy came to fix it. See now also they have come to right address but in their records address which which was present was wrong how strange it is.
                                    My ac warranty ended on 20.05.2020 which means in lockdown. So when lockdown opened i contacted hitachi customer service now what they are saying your ac is out of warranty you have pay for ac service. From two service i haven't got any one. When last year summer came to end i contacted the same number given by i installation boy. So that time what hitachi employees were doing is everything time i call them and what they tell to me mam a message you will receive you can contact to that number. This happened many times. So after some days i just left calling thinking that.in next coming summer i will call for service but this time in summer it was lockdown going on. Is that my mistake that lockdown was going on. I want one service.

                                      I have purchased hitachi 1.5 ton 4 star inverter ac whose details given below & ac is under warranty.
                                      Model no : - rsn 417 hcea
                                      Indore unit no : - se190d92917
                                      Outdoor unit no. :- 190d51793
                                      Coolant r410

                                      My ac is not cooling the room so on date 24 may 2020 i have filled a online complaint for “ no cooling issue “ against complaint no [protected] but not fully resolved & closed in your system.
                                      Again i have filled a new complaint no [protected] again force close in systems without any resolution.
                                      Again new complaint no [protected]

                                      My room size where ac is installed is 90-100 square feet & ac is feeding the power with stabilizer in input voltage range 230 v +/- 10% of 1 phase 50 hz, whereas this ac is also able to cool 180-200 square feet room.

                                      Service engineer came on 25 may 20 to check "no cooling issue" of my ac. He checked and said that this issue is due to leakage of refrigerant gas however he could not identify the leakage point at that time.

                                      I suggested him to perform nitrogen test on my ac but he denied to perform the same on site (At my home) & asked me to send the ac to the service center.

                                      Next day i have taken my ac to the service center and left it there. After 2 days service engineer called me & said that no leakage was found in your ac & give my ac to take back to my home.

                                      Same day service engineer came & filled the refrigerant gas r410 but pressure of gas was low & current taken by compressor is not rated current which is 7.1 amp. & cooling is not coming at the desired temperature 16 degree when checked by service engineer by temperature meter at ambient temperature 35 degree centigrade.

                                      Again after 2 days service engineer came to top up the gas refrigerant but unable to resolve the issue of cooling when set temperature is at 16 degree the service engineer temperature meter is showing 20 degree centigrade inside the indoor unit (Emitted air temp.) at ambient temp 33 degree centigrade. & compressor draw 3.5 ampere to 4.5 ampere current where as full capacity loading current of ac is 7.1 ampere.

                                      Again on 10th june 2020 hitachi service engineer came & top up the refrigerant gas r410 now compressor is drawing full capacity current 7-8 ampere but my indoor ac unit unable to cool or emits air temperature less then 21 degree centigrade. & room temperature never goes below 29 degree centigrade resulting continuous running of compressor.

                                      When i checked this temperature test with another 3 star 1.5 ton hitachi ac at set temperature of 16 degree (Lowest) of indoor unit emits inside temperature of air is reaching 6 to 7 degree centigrade.

                                      Hence it is concluded that hitachi supplied defective / faulty unit of ac or its model rsn417hcea is defective which is never meet the desired temperature parameter & never chilling the room temperature below 28 degree centigrade.

                                      If you want to cool the room at 16 deg c then the indoor unit emits the air temperature should be less than 8- 10 deg centigrade for some time then only it will meet the room temperature at 16 degree centigrade.

                                      Hence you are requested to replace the faulty unit of my ac with new fresh unit of same model as my ac already under warranty & as already i have faced a lot of delay.
