We have purchased Hitachi AC almost 2 years now and facing a tripping problem since last one year. Hitachi service provider do not provide a correct solution due to which the problem remains same even after paying for the service charges. Request Hitachi team to please keep a hold on your service providers as they are hampering your good will in the market. Still we are facing the problem and as understood now that it's a pcb problem so request to provide service support for the same.

    We have bought Hitachi 565 L 3 Star Frost Free Double Door
    Refrigerator(RVG 610 PND3 GGR, Grey, Inverter
    Compressor) | B00NLBR20Q ( B00NLBR20Q )
    HSN:8418 on 29/10/2019 .

    On 8th Jan 2020, there was some power problem in our street and voltage fluctuation happened . Due to this, complete power supply system has gone bad . The feature of this FRidge is supposed to have in built stabilizer and they have clearly given instructions not to use additional stabilizer.

    Now, when the Fridge power got disconnected, when we approached Hitachi service center, they are telling, they cannot repair the board . They will only replace it with a new board which would cost 12000 RS .

    This is absolutely not acceptable

      I bought a Hitachi Refrigerator on 11/01/2020 the details are as follows:

      Refrigerator Model: R-SG38FPND-GBK (3 Door 404L)

      In October 2020, I found that the refrigerator had stopped cooling. I had raised a complained and the Technician visited us twice and replaced the fan. But within 1 day it stopped cooling again.

      I raised another complaint and the technician came again and fixed the fan and told me that it was not fixed properly the first time.

      However, Today (12/12/2020) it stopped working again and it is showing me the same problem that I found in October 2020.

      I do not understand how a reputed brand like Hitachi can be so defective that it has not even worked properly even for 10 months. My warranty will get over in 1 month and I am not ready to bear the expenses of repairing a defective refrigerator after the warranty period.

      I request you to replace the refrigerator if this problem is not reparable.

        I lodged another complaint on Sep 14th for a door stopper spare part and havent received a response till date. I have had series of issues since the time I bought this expensive 525 litre fride and ever since all I've faced are issues. Its been a horrifying experience with still no sign of hope.

          I am writing to you after a month of horrid experience. I am genuinely frustratedwith the behaviour and team's response toward resolving this. And there seemsno end to it as there seems to be no willingness to resolve this either.

          I have been a proud owner of Hitachi Refrigerator since 2013 (Model No.: R-SG3TBPND, Triple door – 390litres). Just recently, the fridge stopped working. Wecontacted our local fridge repair person who checked the PCB circuit andmentioned that the circuit is working fine and might be an issue with thecompressor.

          At this point, we contacted the Hitachi service centre. We got a call from Mohammad Salim fromNoble Aircon. After a few days, the executive finally came over on 26thSeptember, 2020 to check the refrigerator. He took the PCB with him and said hewill check it in case there is any fault with it. He also checked thecompressor and said that the compressor seems to be faulty and he will replaceit with a new one since this is under warranty. He took a pic of the purchase bill.He took INR 500/- as his service charge. Service request [protected]

          He mentioned that he will check thePCB and call back the next day.

          Ofcourse as expected he never called back. After umpteen calls to him, he finally respondedsaying that the compressor is coming from the company and will be replaced. Healso mentioned that there is an issue with the PCB and to fix it will take INR8000/- and to fill the gas in the compressor another INR 3000/-. He said thiswill be done in a week’s time.

          Firstly, it was surprising that the PCB was found to be faulty by him when it didn’t seemto be. This just seemed to be a tactic to make additional money as it waschecked earlier and seemed to be working fine. However, I agreed to go aheadwith it since he mentioned that this will be all, and the refrigerator willstart working like a new one and will work fine for another 10 years.

          After a week when I called him, he did not pick up my calls nor did he ever call back. When he did pick up after a couple of days, he told me the PCB is fixed but the compressor has not come from the company as yet. It should come in next coupleof days and then he will come and replace it.

          When I called him after couple of days to check on the status. Mr. Mohammad Salim mentioned that the part has not come as yet. He asked me to call up his manager Mr. Ayazto find the status of the same. I called Mr. Ayaz who said he will check on iton Monday, October 5, 2020 by 11am and he will revert with the status. Ofcoursethere was no revert from him and when I followed up with him, he kept asking meto call back as he was yet to check on it. Last week, when I called him, hethen handed over the phone to someone else – another Mohammad Saleem whoclaimed he is from back office and will look into the complaint.

          First he said, he knew about the issue and that the technician mentioned that PCB was faultyand compressor had to be replaced. And the charges were INR 11, 000/-. Itold him I had agreed on it. When I asked him on the status of the compressor, he mentioned that he will check on it as its not come from the company as yet.I called him again the next day and he said he will check on the system and updateme. When I followed up with him again, he asked me to send me the purchase copyof the refrigerator. This clearlyshows that nothing had been done even after more than 3 weeks. The compressorhad not been ordered at all.

          When I confronted him, the same guy who knew about this issue and the charges were INR 11, 000/-and the compressor had to be replaced under warranty, NOW seemed to know nothing about the issue. He told me that he was new and had just joined in September. All this is nothing but a BIG LIE.

          I really fail to understand the checks and systems in place before appointing suchcrooks for after sales service. They only give the brand such a bad name. I am surely not recommending to anyone I know. Not even my enemies. Such a greatbrand but if something goes wrong with the product, then you must deal withbunch of cheats who are only there to fleece money and not even give service. Well, itjust does not end here. Unfortunately. For me. It wasonly yesterday (October 15, 2020) that they hopefully ordered for the compressor.I hope. I do not trust their word. But this is what was communicated to me bythe same guy from Noble Aircon’s back office. Today, anotherguy came to check the refrigerator. Once again. What is there to check anymore.It needs to be fixed. But this new guy Prasanna said he needs to check and givea report. I let him in. He took some pics and did some testing. He hadsomething more to add. He said that the pipe has a dent and this too needs tobe replaced. He said he will inform the back office for some more additional charges. I DO NOTunderstand as to what the earlier guy servicing executive did. He had checked thesame things. Took INR 500/- as visiting charges. And now another guy comes inand adds few more issues to it???

          I am sure another guy will come in a few days and instead of fixing things will add to my misery. Is thissome kind of joke or just harass the customer to the extent that he does notwant to fix the refrigerator at all?

          Why does it take that long to resolve a simple complaint. Why do I always have to followup on your inefficiency? Why is there no transparency in telling me and workingtowards resolving this? Or simply give me my money back! That's the least youcan do.

          In anycase, you guys have won. Because I DO NOT want to fix it at all.

          All I want nowis my PCB (the circuit) to be returned back to me along with the compressor andthe visiting charges. I DO NOTexpect anything more. Because it is a SIN to expect anything anymore. But wantto highlight the SAD state of Affairs and how the after sales service and yourappointed Authorised Service Provider are nothing but inefficient and are FULLOF LIES.

          Please STOP taking on such people on board and spoil an International Japanese brand. I dug up a little deeper to find that this modus operandi is usual forthem and this is how they carry their everyday business. I am not the only one dealing with it.           I really hope that you understand what one has togo through when the refrigerator does not work for over a month. The milk, vegetables, fruits gets spoiled every single day. And every single thing thatyou keep in it is already soiled. And the worst is you are still trying to findsomeone to fix it.

          This is my last attempt to resolve this. Just refund my money for the fridge.

            My fridge compartment is not cooling, and i have escalated a complaint for the repair. This same breakdown has happened second time . Services for this company is the least concern (the dont give a damn about customer suffering due to their lax attitude). The most annoying thing about a hitachi product is you have to call the ground level staff thrice(or more) to get them to check your appliance. Tis more annoying to pay for such services when the fix a issue and it happens again and again.What this company dosent realise is that just making an online complaint registering webpage wont solve their product breakdowns(i doubt if they keep track of same breakdowns happening again and again, to improve their products). Even more their technicians keep giving excuses about unavailability of parts, but in reality they want to let complains pile up, just so that they dont have to make too many trips at different place(and can do all work at once) nad tis laxness makes the consumer suffer for months without a usable product. More so i[censored] call them at their contacts nobody give u a response and the phone cuts automatically(dont know if its a technical glitch, but should not be there). And now all you can do is cpmplain on such forums to get a basic set of parts for your device and hope that they listen (i had to do the same thing the first time ). My suggestion to new buyers is they go for some other brand and because this company only has nice ads no performance to show for it .Below are my complaint date and the whole chronology of service nightmare for which you have to pay(i think i[censored] like horror just buy a hitachi appliance you can have it for free almost every year)

              I complainted for Air condition repair to Hitachi india, they placed my request which is [protected] engineer visited and taken charges of Rs 500 from me and asked me to wait for 7 days for part replacement then after 7 days my complaint has been cancelled said due to non contactable to CUSTOMERs asked them again and once again placed an request which is [protected] engineer called me and asked if he is taken money in first visit then this request is also been cancelled, i again placed an request which is [protected] till now no response is camel am mentally ### by calling them again and again placing complaints but they are not helping me

                Dear Sir,
                I would like to apprise that I purchased an 450 ltr refrigerator from Hitachi in..August 2017

                Found some issue of non-funcationality in last week of May 2020, made complain and got connected nearby workshop of Johnson Control - Hitachi at Namner, Agra, UP owned by Sh. Fateh Ali. There was not respond for initial 2-3 weeks.
                Then after delayed response, refrigerator was taken to that nearby workshop.
                Now, even after being it under warranty, they have send an estimate of Rs 34000 for its maintenance which is quite surprising when overall cost of product stands nearly Rs 45000. When I tried to explain warranty clause etc, they were ultra rude in their behaviour including workshop owner Fateh Ali.
                Such a low quality equipment with very bad experience with your service people- never expected from company like Hitachi.
                Request your intervention and get my refrigerator rectified at earliest.

                I hope, my voice as a valued customer to be taken seriously and heard.

                    Primarily i will say that hitachi fridge is the worst possible product and one should not purchase it.

                    I had purchased hitachi 2 door 660 ltrs. Refrigerator on 29/10/14 for rs.70, 000/- and only after hardly five years fridge started giving trouble like layer of ice on vegetable, door alignment problems etc. Therefore, called hitachi call centres and after calling many times the engineer visited our residence and said there is a inbuilt problems of door on this model and the door is required to be replaced and gave me a quotation of around rs.26, 000/-. It was a real set back for me.in the meantime one small piece from door came out of its own. Then again i approached the hitachi call centre and the engineer told me that this piece came due to keeping water bottles on the door space of the fridge. When i asked the engineer the the santity of giving space for water bottles on the door of the fridge then the engineer told that this is manufacturing defect in this model and the door is required to be replaced. When i asked about the durability of the new door the engineer refused to give any guarantee thereof. I was much disappointed on this.in fact i had purchased this fridge looking to the good performance of hitach ac purchased by me but i was very much disappointed about the performance of hitachi fridge. Then i contacted local technician but he told that he will not be in a position to neither repair the door nor replace the door.
                    We have used other brands of fridge but never experienced such problems in any fridge.in my view this is the worst product available in the market. I would like to mention that people purchase such a costly item with the hope that the product will not give any problem after the purchase. I am sorry to state that the cost of the product was not worth for the purchase amount of the fridge. I will advise that the people should not go for hitachi fridge in their life time.
                    In the end i will request hitachi co. To improve the quality of their aforesaid product so that frequent problems may not arise despite giving heavy amount for purchase of the product.

                      Hi mr rajesh nagari
                      We are having trouble with our split ac for last 2 weeks and it’s not working. Multiple technicians visited and ordered aorta and even then we have the problem as no body could solve this yet.
                      We have been calling contact center and technicians but either no busy picks the call or they have no update.
                      Did the escalation formally via app as well but no response from 2 levels of management after escalation.
                      This is the first time we have had such a bad experience and i am restoring to this platform as we don’t know how else to get this moving.

                        I have complained about cooling issue of the my refrigerator on 08.09.2020and my complain no is [protected].

                        Technician has come after 5 days and not solved any complain and said everything is ok and took charge of rs. 500/- then again called upon to look after the same complain then he said some parts to be ordered. Till date complain is not solved and now he is not receiving calls also.

                        Worst ever services in the world

                          Respected sir,

                          This is in regards to the hitachi a/c purchased 14 months back from kashika trading shakti nagar delhi. We found 5 days back our ac was not cooling and we registered a complaint
                          At hitachi customer care. Their technician visited and found that the motor was not working properly and asked us to pay 3000 for motor replacement.
                          The reason behind putting our hard earned money for this expensive ac was that it will be a good quality product. We have purchased samsung, voltas and lg air conditioners before but we started facing issues after 4-5 years that too were related to gas leakage. We did not expect such quality from such a renowned brand that within use of 6-7 months the motor needs replacement. We belong from a middle class family and use ac for hardly 3-4 hrs per day this states that ac was not used excessively. It is very surprising that such good brands don't use good quality parts in their products which last long. I am extremely dissatisfied and regret buying hitachi product.
                          They are not replacing the part.

                          Please suggest how should i proceed further.

                            I had logged a breakdown request # [protected] on 24 may 2020. Till date there is no resolution received either from the customer care or the service center.
                            Whenever i call service center they tell me that they have not received the replacement of faulty part and don't have any idea by when it will be fixed.
                            Already wrote to multiple times.
                            I have already written mails multiple times to [protected]@jci-hitachi.com but no response received till now.
                            Please look into the matter as it's already more than three months
                            I was not expecting such a bad response to breakdown complaint from hitachi.

                              Most unprofessional and idiotic workshop technicians of hitachi.
                              I want to talk to any of the very senior and serious official of hitachi.
                              Your customer care team and all the workshop technicians are just taking the call casually and unable to understand the problem.
                              I have been calling hitachi since long
                              My window ac has cooling issue. I called up ahitachi technician in july for the same, he convinced us for mac, without even informaing that the amc will start only after 45 days.
                              We again called up the customer care fer 45 days of amc, for which thrice our call get cancelled, giving fake reasons (No one even bothered to call us), finally after so much of calling and wasting time, two people came on 5th september, and did servicing of our ac (4th time since june 2020). And assured us that there will be no problem. But the cololing problem remained the same. We kept on calling them but no answer and then again a call was logged, which again got cancelled with fake reason.
                              Then on 9th september another technician came and told us that the coil is having problem, we will do it at your premises and rectify the issue, again when i called up today they are unprofessionally saying that they will take the ac to workshoop only.
                              I am not in favour of that as they themself said at my place that the ac will be repaired at home only.

                              No on is listening at all please help me.

                                  For the new hitachi airconditioner, the company is providing 3 free services in first year for free. But the service agents are not coming for free service and marking the request as completed. So first year free service is not being provided by hitachi.

                                  I do not recommend to buy hitachi due to poor service.

                                    I have complained many times in hitachi care but there is no solution for the problem . There is no satisfactory cooling hitachi ac, i want my refund or my ac repair .

                                      Purchased A/c on 15th august and received other A/c on 27th august which was wrong model then got the right one on 29th and they did not fit it properly there is water leakage and they are not providing warranty.

                                        I have purchased hitachi 1.2 ton ac from rathna fan house, chennai last year. The warranty period expired in aug 2020 and one more free service is yet to be availed. Due to covid lock down, i hesitated to book free service and also i have not received any reminder for booking.

                                        When i called consumer care for free service they told that i cannot avail this post warranty period.

                                        When cost for free service is collected upfront as part of the product cost, is it not the duty of the company to reminder the consumer and alert of expiring.

                                        Purchase date : 17th aug 2019.
