Team Honda India, I would like to bring to your notice a serious case of rash driving by one of Honda's drivers in a white Honda Amaze demo car with registration MH04 GU3201. This case of rash driving occured on 13th April around 7.30-8pm on Eastern Express Highway, Mumbai. On multiple instances the driver of the above vehicle, endangered the lives of motorcyclists, including myself and other fellow car drivers by over speeding, extreme lane-cutting and rash driving. Finally, at the Godrej signal at Vikhroli he had to be stopped and enlightned that his rash driving may cause serious injury or result in someones accidental death. However, his response was extremely rude and he threatened that do whatever you want to do and that no action can be taken against him. In that brief conversation he also mentioned that the car belonged to Hallmark Honda, Thane. Hence, a complaint regarding this will soon be filed in nearest police station.

    Dear Sir/Madam I have recently bought Honda city (I-DTEC) on 9th Jan 2015. Please note the below circumstances which I have faced buying Honda City from Elite Honda dealership at Rajmundry. • Mistakes/Carelessness towards customer by Elite Honda Rajmundry 1. Driver has met with an accident damaging the rear bumper and rear brake light was broken on the left hand side of the car before delivery. Evidence of pictures available on request. 2. T/R documents were generated as AP31 registration (Vizag) 3. Address details provided was Kurmannapalem which falls into Gajuwaka registration and T/R was to be generated under AP231. 4. Sanyasi Rao who is a sales rep for vizag on behalf of Elite Honda met the broker at RTO office in Gajuwaka and was clearly explained about the procedure to complete all the formalities to transfer the registration details from city office to Gajuwaka RTO office to complete my registration process. 5. Not one person has taken responsibility to help me with the above process. I am currently running around RTA office for the past 20 days to solve the issue. 6. I have paid fines twice for not carrying my documentation with me as they were handed to the broker at Gajuwaka by Mr. Sanyasi rao garu. 7. I have clearly mentioned that chasi paint was done two days back and not to use high pressure during car wash(1000kms service). They have still neglected my request and damaged the chasi paint. Photos will be sent on request. • Suggestions to improve or resolve my problem 1. Kindly get someone to follow it up immediately. 2. Payment of rupees 1000.00 in the form of DD and 2500.00 processing fees to the broker to transfer the registration process to Gajuwaka. 3. Desired number series has passed away and now I have to go for the worst. Finally I would like to say that the feedback what I received from friends and family is Sundaram Honda is much service oriented and provide prompt response to their customers. Being a renowned company with good reputation worldwide, I did not expect this from HONDA Company. Your quick response will be much appreciated. Regards K.       I want to draw your kind attention on the subject cited above that i have purchased honda city car from lally motors, ludhiana (punjab) on 06/02/2014 bearing engine no N15A11107475, chassi no MAKGM85CAEN002513.As my car has ran just 18000km some unpredictable noise started coming from the front tyres, the same has been asked to the service engineer of the abovesaid dealer to resolve it at the time of 3rd service, but they didn't paid any heed to the problem and told us to take the car. On next day i have to go for some imprtant peice of work suddenly a huge noise started coming when i applied brakes so, i have to take the car to the workshop near by as a result i have to got brake pads changed which was not geniune. As my car is under warranty and it had ran very few kilometres which doesn't reqiure brake pads to be changed.So, i request you to kindly look into the matter and replace my brake pads with geninue one as i am not laible to pay any cost. i will be very thankful to you.waiting for your reply at [protected]@gmail.com

        I have purchased CB Unicorn on 18/3/2013 from the day 1 I purchased this bike i am facing a lot of problem with heavy chain noise, every time i leave my bike for service i am telling them but no solution till now. Second problem is Gear shifting issue, when we are in top gear if we suddenly stops we cannot change to lower gears it is very difficult to change, Third problem is bike is shaking like anything in even if I am in normal speed that is 40Km/hr no control i told this problem many times to service guys but till now i am facing this issue, because of this I lost my control once and meet with an accident I am really dissatisfied with this bike I suggest all my friends not to buy this bike.

          Myself Anu Arora has Honda Accord from last 3 years. I bought this from Abhikaran Honda Bhopal. I am from UK and use car during my holidays in India. Everytime i send car to Honda Bhopal for service, it is a stress. But this time it has gone well beyond limits. I had insurance claim and my car was with Honda for over a month. On number of occassions i was given a date for delivery of vehicle and everytime for one reason or another it was delayed knowing i am travelling back to UK for long. After number of chasing phone calls, on my day of departure, Honda agreed to give the car back. I was put on spot with a hefty bill of Rs 67000.00 to pay before picking up car. During all the chases, there was no estimate provided or any information given before hand around the cost. I was told Honda will settle with Insurance company. Because i wanted to leave car in my garage before leaving, it was agreed that i pay 67000.00 cash and Honda will work with Insurance company for claim into my account. It has been 6 weeks of chasing and there is no money in my bank account. I understand that there can be delays but this delay is very long. What is frustrating is Honda Bhopal has now stopped picking up phone calls and disconnecting phone as soon as they see it is me. I am not even aware of the status of claim i.e. if surevyor took the pictures or insurance company has all the paper work or the delay is from insurance company or Honda. I have never given status or detail information. I have tried contacting Mr Brijesh Pandey / Mrs Shweta Agarwal ( Senior Customer Relation Manager). Both of them have stopped responding. My main purpose of lodging complaint is to get assistance from Consumer Board to assist in getting this resolved.             With reference to the above this is to inform you that on Saturday 21st March, 2015 at night about 9 p.m., while returning to my house, I noticed an oil leakage at the bottom of my Car. On Sunday Eastern Honda was closed for the day. So, I contacted them on Monday 23. 03.2015 in the morning and told their service head about this oil leakage problem & servicing also for my Car .They sent their authorised person Sujit (cell no. [protected]) to collect my Car. I again explained Sujit about the oil leakage in the Car .The person collected my Car in running condition . After passing about 40 mins, the person Sujit called me over my cell and informed me about the fact that the car has broken down in the middle of the road and I advised him to contact his office & personally I contacted the Dealer’s office to inform them the position. In the evening, I contacted the dealer for the position again. They advised me to visit their workshop, accordingly and hence I visited them on 24. 03. 2015.They took my signature on the insurance claim form. I also told them that I had handed over the Car in a running condition to Sujit but Eastern Motors told me that the engine has been seized & there is this whole lot of expenses attached to repair this off. I wasn’t even consoled properly regarding the insurance claim for the damage. The reply was “Let’s see what can be done” It’s been 15 days since the time I am chasing them but in spite of doing whatever possible from my end, I am unable to get through a solution to this. There is no proper follow up for the Car. The Dealer is also telling me (surprisingly) that due to the big expenses involved, the Insurance Co. is also taking time to accept the claim. (Which frankly should not be a concern to me) When I had got a Honda car, I had never expected I would be seeing such a callous and a nonchalant behaviour for an incident like this, with no fault of mine.I always trusted the brand and the service but this is a huge deviation from my expectations. Writing this to you as I am totally flabbergasted and don’t know how to approach this problem to get to the desired solution .Seek your help, advise and generosity to get to the shore .Please help me out with this.

                Hi, I am Chaaya Tiwari, I have Honda Brio (MH 12, FX 8062) which is purchased in May 2012. In Last month I had given car for servicing at Deccan Honda showroom at Pune Satara Road, Pune. For last 2 servicing I am complaining about Shock Absorbers are not working properly. I am getting reply that it is problem of tyre. But when I said tyres are not got such bad they are looking fine, they are saying that Tyres fitted in Honda brio are of not of good quality & they gets hard after use of 40, 000 KM. In any case if Honda is aware that tyre quality used is not good then why Honda is using such tyres. I am great Fan of Honda Cars, I have Honda City as well so I do not expect such kind quality problems at least in Honda Cars. In my family we also have Maruti Swift with running over 70000 Km & do not experience any problem in shock absorbers. I think Honda is big brand & they should resolve my problems. Also I would like to know how much the condition of tyres really impacts Shock Absorbers? I am not getting good response from the showroom. Kindly let me know what should be done further?                     We have purchased HONDA AMAZE in 2013 and we gave the complaint reg the CLUTCH from the first service it self ( you can check the complaint with service records), but the same was not rectified and yesterday while my car suddenly broke down and the problem came to known as clutch and flywheel failure and the estimation given to me is nearly Rs 25, 000:00.Now its only app 42, 000 KM reading. We believe in HONDA reputation and selected the same but because of the failure of the parts and the same were not rectified in time by concern people, and their negligence to day it cost me lot. I saw these 4 main bolts for tightening my seat were completely out or detached before i went to the service station for my first service still i tight them with my hands before i went to service station. ( 1st problem ) At the service station, Honda activa 125 CC spare parts are out of stock ( 2nd problem ) This is how a well known honda manages its stock on my first surprise while dealing with honda. Even if i go to a small shops nearby for any accessory related to honda, they have everything in stock since they have trained staff and everything is well managed before any emergency occurs.                         Hi, I have recently purchased a Top-end Honda City Diesel variant on 8th of March from Joy Honda. This has been the most irritating and tedious task of ever buying a car for me. First of all, when I got the car booked, I clearly told that I am getting the same model from some other agency in our state (Haryana) at a lesser price and I would like to book the same from there as I was even getting the same day delivery, but I was told by Mr. Hardeep (MD at Joy Honda) that they will manage the rates and work out the same prices once they get the car and I waited for 10 days for the car to come. I do not have any proof of that but I accepted the same on good faith. At the time of delivery they clearly told that there will be no discount on the model as it is already on waiting. Still, I shelled out Rs. 8, 000/- extra as I have already paid a booking amount and did not wanted any trouble. It was a case of total miscommitement and manipulation. Then again even after making the complete payment, I was not provided the Bill of the same, with an assurance that the same will be delivered at my doorstep in a day as I had made half of the payment by cheque (self cheque of same date, which was en-cashed after 15mins of providing me the delivery of car). I have been following up for the same after 2-3days but various idiotic reasons like spark plug damaged, internet not working, etc. were given to me. I tried following up on the board line no. of the agency as it is not always possible to go again and again but was told that a concerned person will give me a call back which I never got. I even asked for the concerned person’s no. But was told that call back would be arranged but still nothing happened. I had to physically go every time to follow up for the same. After all the hassles the finally provided me the Invoice on 1st of April dated 27th March (probably because they had some incentive scheme tie-up or discount tie with Honda Cars for the financial closing). After all said and done, I have now insurance date and temp. No. Receipt that is dated 8th March, Invoice that is of 27th March and still no Form 20, so I cannot get my car registered because their licence got expired and cannot provide me the same even for another week or something. Now, I would like to know that are we living in stone-age that for 3 days our spark plug cannot be repaired or internet doesn’t work? Is Honda as a brand has no control over its agencies that agencies are following malpractices and harassing customers by billing the cars only when they get additional benefit and is it morally, ethically and professionally right to harass customers for personal benefits. Is Honda is so mismanaged that they have no idea about when their licenses are getting expired or they do not have intentions or money to get the licences renewed. If this is the case how can I trust I have made a right decision to even get my car insured from Honda (which is at a premium as compared to other insurers in the scene) that you will remember to renew mine. I have faced such torturous experience mostly because Honda is not professional and totally money minded which hardly cares what happens to a customer after he has made the payment that I would not like to deal with Honda again. To top it all, now when I have told the Honda representatives in the agency that I will put up a written complaint about the procedure and mal practices they follow to earn extra money, they are putting it all on the sales person. They made the sales person call me that he will be paying the penalties for late registration and it was entirely his mistake that he could not get the invoice in time and it could cost him his job if I complaint. I would ask any sane person, is it possible that you have excess cash of around Rs. 12 lacs and a car short in the stock and nobody knows except the sales man. Is it the duty of sales man to generate the invoice or the accounts/billing department? Is it not emotional blackmailing? I was of perception that Honda is a globally renowned name and must have clear policies and would be professionally managed, but I can see it is as greedy and misleading as it can be. Now, as a customer I have gone through mental harassment of again and again inquiring about the invoice and Form 20, paid extra amount than I actually intended to buy the car for, had to put up extra pain of physically going every time to the agency, had to actually put my official work at the back seat and still I will have to face registration penalties, go through all the hassles in government departments for the same, only because I wanted to have an better experience of buying a Honda car instead of Maruti or Hyundai. I just wanted to bring to your notice the kind of experience you are providing to customers before going to the consumer court so that you should have an idea and if interested, try to improve, only if interested.                           Our family have booked a complaint regarding the delay in the delivery of all new Honda city v model petrol variant. The booking was done on my mother's name, Mrs annamma mathew and was done on October 9 2014 . inspite of the delay and the price hike from January 2015 we were still interested to buy the car . we were promised verbally that our car will be delivered within 4 months at the maximum. But it has been nearly 6 months and not yet delivered. till this date they have not even provided with a date of allocation. And now the dealership is providing with a disturbing information that there will be another price hike from this financial year. Its unfortunate to say that their delay is going to cost us more.                             I have booked a Honda Amaze on 30th Jan 2015 by the name of Dipin Sachdeva (Invoice # 1/[protected]). Its been over 2 months and the dealer is not giving the car with the reason that it is not been given by the Honda company. I have booked a white colour base petrol model. Gagan Chug was the name of the person who assisted in booking the car. Every time we call at the dealership Ankur Walia answers the call, neither does he answers the query or gives a satisfactory answer to why the car delivery is being delayed further.

                              Sir, i have purchased Honda Dio on 10/12/2014 from EVM automobiles, Vyttila. You guys have promised that the customers will get 60 kmpl mileage. Thats the main factor which attracted me to buy this vehicle. But my Vehicles' mileage is very low. I complaint it to EVM automobiles, after first service. They refused to give an exact reply. They said that Dio will give upto 50kmpl, not 60kmpl (as promised in advts). But I am getting only 27 kmpl mileage. So what should i do now ? My friends are saying that, I should have opted for Yamaha Ray or something, as their mileage promises are comparitively low, but not fake. Whats the possible way to overcome this ? My parents demanded me to ask for a Cash Back from Dio Dealers... or is there any option for Vechicle Replacement ? Hope you will reply me to keep your good name intact... thanking you...                                 The clutch of my Honda Car DL10CH1010 was worn out just after running of 4999 kms. I bought this car from Ring Road, Honda on 18.10.2014 . As per mail dt 22.03.2015 received from Ms Shalu Kapoor Manager service, I have to bear a total cost Rs.22000/- for the replacement of clutch plate, pressure plate, release bearing and fly wheel since it is a matter of wear and tear and does not come in the service of warranty.

                                Sir I fully agree that failure of clutch is a matter of wear and tear but in this case it is not a matter of wear and tear but it is absolutely a matter of manufacturing defect and big question mark on your quality control. Facts of the case are given below:-

                                I am practicing Chartered Accountant and self driving the cars since 1990. I am a loyal customer of Honda City and it is my 3rd vehicle for the last 5 years. In the FY year 2014-15 I purchased one Honda city (Diesel top model, Regn No DL4CNC9696, engine no NI5A[protected] on 02.05.2014 and this Amaze diesel (Reg No DL10CH1010 and Engine No NISAII406182 ) on 18.10.2014.


                                My Honda city run only 4200 kms in one year and the amaze driven by me 4999 kms in 05 months. As mentioned above both the cars are self driven by me and not even 10 kms I allowed to drive my both cars neither to any of my family member nor any friend. Moreover vehicles are get regularly serviced from the Ring Road Honda service centre..


                                In my life I am having the total driven experience of 20 years and run the vehicle more than 07 lacs kms. In the mail received from the Ring Road Honda on 22.03.2015 of Ms Shalu kapoor, Manager Service it is alleged that the dismantling of clutch is due to overridden so I have to bear the cost of repair etc of Rs.22000/- . I am not at all satisfied with the reasons as given by the service engineers of ring Road Honda that wear and tear depends on its usage and driving conditions as the usage is only 4999 kms and driving conditions were always satisfactory. Pls consider my driving experience my profession, clutch position of my other car i.e. Honda city and service history etc and allow repair and maintenance without cost.

                                Further I am not getting any satisfactory response from the service advisors and customer service people working in the Ring Road Honda. I have also lodged the complaints to one to one service of the on the following dates:

                                1. 19.03.2015
                                2. 20.03.2015
                                3. 23.03.2015
                                4. 30.03.2015

                                But no satisfactory response received. I requested officer to appoint one senior officer from the quality control department and one customer relation but no result so far.

                                At last considering my above facts pls depute a team of quality control to investigate the matter how the clutch has worn out in just 4999 kms where a person is driving himself and having more than 20 years experience of more than 700000 kms and also depute senior officer from customer relations department for the inconvenience caused to me due to poor services provided by the Ring road Honda and your department.

                                  Registered car No. HR 26BG 3224 Lack of information, undue delays in delivering the car back, no support from customer care, high headedness of the managerial staff My Honda Jazz car got hit on Wednesday 18th March. we called the insurance provider and the Honda service centre (Pearl Honda). the insurance person told us to send the car for evaluation to the service centre. Pearl honda confirmed that they will pick up the car at 09:00 hrs on friday 20th March so that the insurer can do the needful. after doing many reminder calls the person reached our residence at 1500 hrs to pick the car. we get a call next morning from pearl honda that the insurance formalities cant be done until Monday. as saturday and sunday is holiday. On Tuesday they said that we forgot to take the claim form. then they send someone to collect the claim form on Wednesday 25th March. After that they said we will be able to give the car only on 1st April as they did not had the required spare parts and the same were ordered on friday. we tried calling up Ms. Pooja at their customer care department asking her for explainations.. but no use.. we asked her to make us speak to their head Mr. Anil Kherbandha but he also deliberatly did not call back even after leaving many messages with the customer care and with the service incharge. One small job at pearl honda is taking about 15 days due to sheer negligience by the customer care and body shop department at pearl honda. our various requests to give us a spare vehicle till the time the vehicle is with the dealer was not even heard.

                                    No response all the week and no proper information and no good answers to the customers from cheap Zero Customer care. Its simply wasting money by calling customer care.Its simply wasting valuable time and money. Coming to franchises in Bangalore they are super in all ends no good relation with customers exept the BTM showroom all are bloody -----. You can fill the blanks on your own words. Because that kind of worst response from them. Even it is making me to just go with another company Bike instead of this bloody Honda. If they dont want business and loos the customers like this then good to continue teh same response.

                                      I am surprise to share my experience with one of the Honda dealers in Jaipur. Yesterday I had put in a test drive request on line and got a call today from Dealer- Pink City Honda. I requested them for a test drive of Automatic variant of Honda City, which was up front refused by Receptionist and when I asked the reason, call was transferred to an executive by name of Shravan, who clearly refused that in Honda, we do not have a policy to offer test drive of Automatic variant and neither same is available on our dealership. Its actually surprising that in today competitive world, how can a dealer of a renowned Brand- HONDA, can behave and respond to a customer in this manner. How it is possible that a dealer of Honda is not having an automatic variant and can refuse for a test drive? This clearly reflects un professionalism and is spoiling the Brand and Company name of Honda in the market by such a rude and pathetic behaviour of Dealer. I sincerely appreciate the Brand and thus made up my mind to buy a Honda city Automatic version, however post this experience with dealer, need to re think on my decision now.
