Dear Sir,
I HAVE PURCHASED A HONDA BIKE MODEL SHINE FROM VINAY AUTO ON DATED[protected]. Regi. No MH 02 BS 7408, During running the bike, I felt that abnormal sound was coming from engine & bike vibrates abnormal, even rear suspention was also not good I compliant about this problem to venetine honda service centre at Borivali (E) on 1st service, he accepted and told me as its a new bike I have to wait puto 3rd service meanwhile engin will free after running few kms. But problem was still there even after 2nd & 3rd sevice I gone to service centre for 4th service and complaint the problem, the problem was still persisting. They checked and said its normal as its a 125 cc bike this is normal; they did not hear about the problem and tell me bike is ok. I think this is not the way to deal with customer. Please take this matter seriously and take necessary action because now I am loosing my patience other wise I will come through consumer court. I have spent 10 months for this matter. I am unhappy to purchase a Honda bike. Again I am requested to you please take this matter seriously and take necessary action.

Dear Sir,
I HAVE PURCHASED A HONDA BIKE MODEL SHINE FROM MODERN MOTOR ON DATED[protected]. Chassis No- ME4JC366F98276582 & ENGINE No- JC36E9423250. During running the bike, I was felt that abnormal sound was coming from engine. I have compliant about this problem to dealer and he accepted and told me it was due to misalignment of its tabbits. During first service they checked and replaced the clutch plate outer gear. But problem was still there. After almost 7 days, again I was gone to dealer workshop and complaint the problem was still persisting. They checked and accepted the problem and replaced again clutch plate outer gears (big and small both). At the same time the Rajasthan site in charge of Honda Mr. Amol Tiwari was also present there I was compliant him but he did not hear about the problem and tell me bike was ok and I don’t want to talk and altercation with you. I think this is not a way to deal with customer. Again three times I was complaint for same problem, they replaced some other part but problem is same. Please take of this matter seriously and take necessary action because now I have loose my patient other wise I will come through consumer court. I have spent one year for this matter. I am unhappy to purchase a Honda bike. Again I am requested to you please take this matter seriously and take necessary action.

    I am happy to inform you that I am one of the costumer and user of HONDA SHINE Motorcycle. I purchased Honda shine from PRATHUL HONDA,Rajbhavan Road,Hyderabad on 13/01/2010, Red colour.

    I have some problem about the Motorcycle. Drive chain and sprockets are not working properly. Within 750 KM of running drive chain stated to loose. Every service and other time I have noticed this problem to the service centre and they told me corrected. Within these 14months (10100.K.M running) I visited the workshop several time. Still the problem is continuing.
    So I humbly request you to take my grievance in the right manner and give me solutions for my problem

    honda 2wheelers — chain sprocket problem

    Dear sir,

    i mr.swapnil Nakhate,working with M/s-Hitachi home & life solution as a service engineer,i purchased my vehicle on 24/11/2010 with a dream in mind that with this new motorcycles i can work hard & bring my carrier into profits.sir before first servicing my bike is working very smooth & trouble free,but after servicing some hisling sound is observerd nr chain sprocket,since i am from technical background when obsereved after opening the chaincovers i am getting shock that grooves of chain & sprocket are mismatch ,after getting complaint to the nearest dealer they are not respond stating that after some run it will matched.since i was working with appliance company,i have alot of pressure to close customers calls in time,on 10/01/2011 i have to rush to my office on time ie.9.30 morning & i was on the road with a minimum speed of 30 kmph & suddenly my vehicle get stopped on the busy road & vehicle is getting skid with a truck behind me,i cannot understand for a movement .After showing to the road side repairer i got to know that chain lock is brake ,i have been told by the repairer to bring this lock,i have tried to the multiple of spares dealers were i am failed to bring the original lock.Then we tried to your local dealer from were we purchased the vehicle,it was told to us that very soon we will send our BDS vehicle the time was 11.30 am & the BDS vehicle reached there on 3.00pm with a unskilled technician trying to repaired & unfortunately failed stating that bring your vehicle at the service centre (SUDARSHAN MOTORS) were we have been intimated that the chain /sprocket /chain covers is not covered under warranty & ask to drop vehicle at sevice centre .sir from above all the sitaution were i was in fault & also request to take a neccesary action against the dealer & replaced the chain /sprocket in warranty.
    I am also using Honda shine byke from 2 years but my byke has long story of problem and defects from the day I purchased the byke.So I agree all the complaint coz I am facing the same.
    there is a major problem in the honda shine of chain sprocket i to facing the problem of chain. when the sound starts i went to the mechanic two to three times he used to tight the chain after he said thad u need to change the spocrket o[censored]r bike till now i have changed ffour times in five years. i am
    I too agree with honda shine problems.. very heretic problem of chain spocrket. I changed 4 time's in 6 years. Which we cant see in any other bykes.. Its not a mileage byke nor comfort byke!!! Also its a heavy maintenance byke...

    I think the above all forget abt indicator lights ha ha ha. how many time u purchase a new one it goes off..I almost changed around 14 finally left my byke with out it :-(
    i have bought honda shine black in dec2012 fist 1 year no problem very smooth drive afterthat once i make it repair once in 3 months then only i can drive smooth one after other problem lighting coil, brkae liner and clutch problem faced. now this morning while going office chain broken while drive. i would request honda is branded motorcyle for a long period. kindly engineers look into these all problems and rectify at yr end while manufacturing or assembling. i hope take this as a positive and improve the quality to shine forever.

    I am also facing the same problem in my honda shine. I had changed the chain sprocket for two times with in 24000km. This is very bad experience as compared to other brands.
    shine only with manufacturer n seller n spareparts n service people' faces...v who r on road with this stupid stuff always had/have nightmares. thank God, it is heavily raining here in Trichur/Kerala, so have rain coat n helmet to hide my face !!
    I purchase shine in 2012 same problem now it's a third time I change chain sprocket
    I run 35000 km
    I am also facing the same problem in my Honda shine. I got the chain sprocket with in 17000 km. This is very bad experience as compared to other brands.
    I drove around 16, 000 KMs and suddenly i am feeling a sound coming from my bike when i am driving. I shifted it to the mechanic then he told it is the sprocket problem. he told along with that break shoe also need to be changed. He totally has given me a bill of 2000rs.Just 2 months before that I changed the Air filter and service which costed me around 1000rs.Seriously this bike started giving problems after using one year under free services. the maintenance costs are escalating and I am investing thousands of more bucks on this bike.

      the honda companey sub dealer Mr.Bharath reddy did't give responce to us, he did't take interest who they bought under his dealer ship. He can't register my own bike, he lost my origenal documents. Iam suffering from traffic police they caught so many times and i paid fine. And gave complints so many time for him but he did't interest to register my bike.

      I have bought a unicorn on the Last March 31st, from the 1st day onwards it shows missing on every start. Every time the dealer says this will solve in the upcoming service, now all the free services are completed, but still the problem remains as it is. I believe this is the manufacturer fault, because this is not the complaint of my single vehicle, shows the same complaint for all vehicles that bought at the same date range. I have already registered a complaint for Honda, but didn't get any response from them. So I request you guys don't choose this bloody vehicle.

          Hi,

          I have a Honda Unicorn purchased in Apr 07 from Sterling Honda Pune Showroom. I feel the bike is mechanically best than any other in 150cc segment. Low engine noise,while the grip on road is good.

          Having said that there are also few dark spots, I mean we customers are really sick of the service that Honda is providing.
          Let me highlight this with my example (based on personal experieces). Firstly, whenever (including week days) the bike is given for servicing it takes at least 2 days for them to get it done. The only reason that the staff have is with them the heavy load of incoming vehicles. I would like to ask:
          Is there lack of mangagement by Honda/Service Center
          Is there lack of efficiency or
          Is there lack of resources
          The scenario depicts so...

          Secondly, I recently got my Unicorn repaired from B U Bhandari Honda, Viman Nagar. The date for the bike delivery was on the same day in evening.
          But to add more on this when I called to get the bike they said its still under process as the centre stand was not available and they were not able to service the bike without the stand.. I adjusted considering some genuine problems of the staff. The very next day I went there around 6 pm. The scene was just the same. Spare part was still not availbale to the staff. Even the staff complained that they weren't at all happy as Honda is not providing them the exact volume of spare parts, required and asked for. Finally the 2 wheeler was handed over to me. But when I tested my bike, the battery was down, the stand wasnt there, the vibration problem became from bad to worse after servicing and the bike balance was totally lost. The staff was harsh to admit about the inadequate service.
          The crux of the matter is In my entire life the condition of my bike neever got worse after recieving back from servicing.

          Its really high time for the concerned authorities to take appropriate actions to resolve customer grieves. I believe HONDA should take their words back regarding Customer Delight.

            I want to buy of Honda Shine Drum + Self Starter model, so I went to my local Honda dealer (Garai Honda, Krishnagar,NAdia,PIN- 741101, West Bengal) with money on[protected], they told me that this variant of Shine Price on road is Rs.56240/-,but today when I went to Dealer They told me that this price is now Rs. 56865/- and if I brought Shine I must Pay for one Helmet & Side Box that is extra cost Rs. 3500/- otherwise They didn't to sale me Honda Shine, this is company policy. Here my Question is Honda is so poor company to gather money by saleing Helmates & Side box or their Dealers are not faithfull to the company.
            I am waiting for company"s willness to save Indian Honda Lovers

              HONDA ACTIVA HAS BEEN DONG GOOD IN TERMS OF SALES AND NEW PRODUCTS in Bangalore City. I have not experienced any problem at MICRO Level ( i.e, at service center. My complaint is one which the Company has to strategically solve at middle or top management

              I observe the following in Bangalore City

              1) The servicing stations are limited in number. In my case the nearest service center is 8-9 kms

              2) There is a big que for servicing the vehicle. To solve the problem, the service stations have introduced advance booking. Now booking goes for 3-days to one week even for paid service and AMCs. Are we in INDIA OR USA?

              3) Open more servicing centers or officially authorise the auto dealers and publish the such list.

              3) I can get a new vehicle on the spot and I have to wait for four days to one week

              The way they service is very very bad, even for new vehicles they change spares, this is becoming common with this service center


              has the company instructed to do this so your sales & commission will increase instaed of giving service to the customer who has bought 2 wheeler.

                HI INDIAN CONSUMER COMPLAINTS FORUM,
                I had my pleasure 2 years ago. well its not that now its old so I should not warn potential buyers and so I have almost complaints that are endless about this cheap vehicle that a branded company is selling.
                1) To start with only after 1 day of purchase there was petrol leaking problem.
                2) After it got over autostart problem arised
                3) there were issues regarding the polishing from dealer NIKSIA-JUST FOR HER from whom I became the proud owner of this defective vehicle.
                4) Well I never went again to that shop for servicing or anything else since the people there are too senseless and arrogant to even deal with.
                5) I had been doing servicing from KUNDAN AUTOMOBILES BAVDAN. My problems did not stop there also Following are some-
                6) Seat cover (dikki) problem. Lock does not work.
                7) Handle lock problem continues even after getting repaired 6 times from KUNDAN.
                8) Indicator problem got solved when I visited KUNDAN 10 TH time ,Please note this.
                9) A very new type of problems that I had never seen. My vehicle used to start even without a a key.
                10) Also there was the Spark plug problem
                11) There are actually lots more but I cant be writing a essay

                I just want to know that are these problems common and faced by all people having pleasure or was I only the chosen 1.
                Please see if anything can be done in this case. Can I still get the reimbursements for the mental stress I have been driving or other.

                Dear Sirs,
                I have purchased a hero honda pleasure DRUM SELF (EURO III) SCOOTER on[protected] from M/s Kanha Motors Pvt. Ltd., 9-B/23, Sardar Patel Marg, Civil Lince, Allahabad. From the day of purchase it appeared that there is problem ( trouble ) of starting both by kick and self further i have learned and checked that the scooter is giving from 30 to 35 km. per liter.

                The first service of the scooter has been given by the above said firm on[protected] but the problems remained as such i.e. the starting trouble and milage problem has not been corrected by the service center of M/s Kanha Motors Pvt. Ltd., Allahabad. Once again i have given my scooter to the above said service center to remove and correct the problems I am facing in my scooter but nothing has been done. The service engineer has told me that the engine of this scooter is not up to mark and as such problems never be removed and use the scooter as its.

                Please take an immediate action to remove the problems of my scooter from your well trained company's engineer or instruct the dealer the change my scooter. It is further requested to solve the problem with a week.

                  I am one Consumer Who is Driving a Honda Scooter without a Brake.

                  I Purchased n Avaitor Disck Brake Version in 2008, I give it for Servicing to Balaji Honda, Washermapet.

                  In my Last Service i Had Requested the attender to change my Trye and requested for an MRF Zapper,
                  I was charged for MRF but the tyre i got is Ceat which is much cheaper than the one ordered,
                  Ongoing the Grivience,


                  I had an oil leakage problem in the Disk Brakes, I requested the Attender to change the pads and also the necessary steps to control the oil spil, theses people so irresponsible that they did not have the courtesy to inform the customer that the Job has not been done due non availibility of spare,
                  I am Running from Dealer to Dealer viz Didar, Kun ,and A second round to Balaji Honda, but there is no proper response about the spare, they Lift their Hands up " NO STOCK", .
                  Today 26/04/2011 I am running my vehicle without Front Brakes and will Held Honda Motorcycle and Scooter Company for an Accident which might occur.

                  Above all this Grievience i have paid 3000 Rupees for the Service to Balaji Honda, Do you Think it is worth.
                  I will would Never suggest any consumer to but a honda product , and of they do so donot service it in Balaji Honda.

                    I had purchased Honda "Aviator" from the dealer "Decent Honda" in Sirsa city in last week of November 2010. In February 2011 there was a mis-happening and the scooter got damaged very much. I had complained in Decent Honda first time on 28th Feb. 2011. At that time they didn't serviced it saying unavailability of scooter parts. Since then I had complained there many times but the result is same. I had also complained online at Honda website but no response. I am facing a lot of problems due to this. The dealer is not giving my complaint in the written so that I can take further action against them.
                    Please take this into your kind attention and help me out as soon as possible.

                        I have a complaint against the service of Hero Honda. I have given my bike for servicing & replacing the spares in ARC MOTORS ,OKHLA-II on 8th of April 2011.they told me collect your bike on 13th of April when I called they said spare parts are not available you contact on 15th of April after that they told me contact us 18th of April when I called on 18th they told me the same thing spares are not available contact us after two three days. I submit a query in hero Honda site ( query no. –[protected] then the workshop manager called me & commit I will give you your bike on 20th of April. When I called on 20th they told me spares are not available in hero Honda please contact after two three days. I have not a old bike its CBZ xtreme if they have CBZ spares are not available then why they will selling such type of model.Every time I have servicing my bike threw hero Honda service centre, Now this is the first time my bike engine giving some sound the people in service centre told me full engine opening is required & estimate around 14000, please suggest every time I have servicing my bike on time they suggest which part to be replaced I will replace immediate each part which they suggest , now how full engine opening is required. they said battery is faulty I said replaced it but for engine it’s not acceptable. Please take action 7 resolve my problem. The below mentioned people are involved in these all conversation with ARC motors.

                        I bought CBZ extreme in Feb2011, I met with an accident in March, Some Damage happend to my headlight and Windsheild and some other parts.

                        I gave the delear for [protected]@ Sai Suman Motors, Chandanagar Hyderabad, They made me to wait till May and making me to roam around them 6 to 7 times just for the spare parts. Still its not been resolved.

                        I just want to complain of Hero Honda Service station situatted at Bhopal named Varenyam Motors Bhopal[protected] / 4243636 has cheated me they had charged me around 1000/- for servising & the same day my byke has got faulty I just complaint to work shop they told me there is engine problem this will also repaired & same has chargable.
                        My concern is that if the I had give my byke for servicing & you charge rupee 1000/- & even after this has not solve & they told there will need to replace more parts also then why they had not tell on the same time when they deliver the byke.

                        I have all avidance & document proof.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I came with a complaint that my head light and self start is not working.I register this complaint in my honda service centre(Arya Bhangy Honda Aluva, Kochi,Kerala). They said this complaint caused due to low battery charge. They said need to replace battery.I asked that do i get any spare battery for my use in replacement period(2 weeks).They said that that is not possible.I can use my ride as usual with less performance in headlight.There will be no other issue in my usage.I said ok continue with procedure.These conversation is done with my service exe Mr.Sijo of Arya Bhanghy Honda.He said i can take my ride on that evening. Unfortunately I was late from my office they colsd the showroom.This was happened on the date 16-Apr-2011.I came the very next working day for pick my ride.After taking my gate pass as per their rule they used make me wait around 1 hour.At this time i complaint to senior exe Mr Ajith for the delay in delivery of my ride.He discussed the matter with the concern person and said will deliver it shortly.I heard that my ride cannot star without the help of a battery and same was not informed to me.I did'nt ask anything about that complaint and waited for their response.They gave back my ride with a spare battery fitted inside my ride. And did'nt tell any thing about the complaint with my ride. They also told me that all things will work as usual,other than the self star.They also informed me that the same will also work properly after a ride.I took back my ride with late to my office.I came back from my office take my ride to my home on that evening.I got highly irritated that i was not able to use even my horn and my indicators also along with the previous mentioned complaints.I was highly tempered and irrtated.I came back to service centre on next day(19-Apr-2011).I said dont need that battery said throw it off.I need my ride without any battery.They said will deliver it when the mechanic is ready.He disscused my matter with the mechanic and came back with a big rubbish that it will cause many complaints if I ride without any battery.I said i dont care i stand in my decision.They said it can only deliverd only in evening. I ageerd and went to my office.Evening they called me and said that my electic coil is complaint and it should be replaced and this was alredy known by them before.They used to hide it from me and avoid me by sending me with a new battery.If i didnt get any chance to hear that my ride will not start without help of a battery this complaint will be unknown to me like other customers .They used to skip from mentioning the complaint.Is that the proper way of customer service and care given for the customers.Today 22 Apr I am not even able to start my ride.It break down in middle of my journey.Now i am fed up with this service of this service centre and the huge delayed made by them for replacement of complaint parts.Should i keep my ride in my home in a show case for these period.May i notice you one more thing that i bought my Ride on 09 Dec-2010 and just did my second free service.If my feedback of this service centre is like this,then you can imagine the about other customers response. So sir please take relavant action against this complaint.This was a worst service do ever get in my life.Waiting for a positive response.

                              I HAD PURCHASED HONDA UNICORN FROM YOUR DEALER ROYAL MOTORS (BHIWANDI).WHEN I HAD TAKEN THE DELIVERY OF THE BIKE AFTER FEW DAYS THERE WERE LOT OF NOISE IN THE BIKE FROM SILENCER ,ENGIE AND I HAD ALREADY GIVEN MY BIKE AT YOUR MAHIM WORKSHOP BUT THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING.
                              I REQUESTED TWICE TO THEM,INFACT THEY DIDNT GAVE ME PROPER SERVICE.

                                i have problem in mileage at starting in got mileage around 53, but now a days i got only 33, and i have also engine valve problem in honda show room they are not response properly
                                I purchased unicorn bike on 11th March 2011 and right from the beginning I was doubtful of its mileage. Once I got it checked up at the authorised dealer, it came out to be 66 km/lt. But the vehicle never reached that target even after all free services. The average comes to near about 45-48 km/lt. Second problem is of the shock up. I always told them that there's some sound from the rear but they did not pay any attention and did some packing here and there. Now when I got my paid service done at another authorised dealer, and he told me that the stock up of the bike has lost its tension and thats why there's the sound.

                                Now if these authorised dealers donot attend to their customers complaints then how can one be assured of their best customer care.

                                  As I perches Honda Aviator scooter on 23/08/2010 with faith Honda is giving good one scooter but there is so many problems in the scooter after two servicing it is still pending & service center engg. are not able to rectify the problems………

                                  *To much vibration on front & back side
                                  *Running time body/scooter is going tilt
                                  *Balance not proper
                                  *Front wheel is big & back is small………I visited one ruler area 10 km from city during traveling front wheel get puncher & same repaired in that area unfortunately at the time of return back wheel is also get puncher after three KM & running with scooter I reached city & repaired puncher …….

                                  My simple question to HONDA I want to perches one extra wheel but I fail to understand what I perches Front wheel or back wheel…….this is the very pathetic situation………….Please advice

                                  *In first & second service I requested to service engg.for check all given my complaints specially for vibration but he told me there is no any solution for body vibration company HONDA also not having any solution for the same.

                                  Such type of service HONDA is providing to the customer is not up to the mark.

                                  My request you to please give me solution OR take back your product which is no a quality product.

                                      i have a honda twister. at the first time when i buy the vehicle(30/01/2011) it have the complaint of rear shock absorber. i report it to them. but they not responding correctly they are saying it is the complaint of seat. on this april i sured that it is the complaint of shock absorber, i went to the service centre and complaint it also they accepted it. now they are saying as we wants a approval from head office. what ican ido?
