Engine malfunctioning light on dash board reamins even after engine is on and disappears after one day or two day or three days. Honda service station people say they are unable to understand this and helpless. Please advise what is possible legal action. For same problem vehicle has been with dealer for three times.
Vehicle is under warranty bought in the month of Novemeber 2009. Honda City MT Ivtec.

Honda — MALFUNCTIONING OF VEHICLE

SIR i had purchased honda activa from universal auto products lal darwaja ahmedabad on13 nov 2008 this vehicle was taken to orange auto ltd tara towers surya nagar toli choki hyderabad for paid service with main complaint of overheating and emitting heat i paid rs 2410 for repair problem still persists vehicle is under WARRANTY invoice no 101w07805 date 29 sept 10 job card no 10jco7966 of 26 sept 10..i am a serving army officer posted at hyderabad request confirm they are authorised service centre and even after paying so much vehicle is with same problem even after 3 days with them for repairs kindly help and intervene to solve this manufacturing defect they repaired KIT CLUTCH ,,ROLLERCOMP WEIGH ,,,GEAR COMP KICK DR does honda activa develop these problems after 1 and a half years of purchase waiting for a suitable response SIR my no [protected] regards and thanks colonel singhal
Re: Manufacturing defects in Honda Aviator STD Vehicle No. DL-13-SH-3015 A/C Anil Kumar Kukreti. With reference to the above, I would like to inform you despite my repeated requests through Mail dtd. 09/12/2010 and 29/01/2011 on the above case wherein I have expressed my grievances that the battery provided by your organization is not working properly. I have visited your workshop Race Honda, Patparganj Indl area on 09/10/2010 and 30/12/2010 for two services and particularly apprised of the fact that the condition of the said vehicle to ply on the road is not road worthy due some snag cropping into its manufacturing. In the IInd service i.e on 29/01/2010 workshop manager has advised to replace the battery from their exide vendor. I visited the exide battery vendor on the location in person on 30/12/2010 and replaced the same vide their Inv [protected]. Thereafter again visited to your race honda workshop Patparganj and checked the vehicle to them. It has been noticed by me after 15 days of the service that It is showing the same condition prior to the service. When Some of your representative has called me in reply to mail 29/01/2011 that the battery will be only be replaced through the exide vendor and hence I again visited to your exide battery vendor on 19/02/2011 and the battery is replaced by them vide Inv no[protected]. But it is still showing the same problem. I think there is some technical fault in your sold vehicle. The vehicle is run only 750 Kms so far. The problem remain unsolved.
I Once again request to kindly look into the matter at the earliest and failing which I have no other option but to surrender the vehicle at your Dealer Race Honda, Jagatpuri Delhi-110051 by whom I have purchased the vehicle vide Inv NO. 10IN02156 dtd 09/09/2010 vide their gate pass No. 5115 dully given ENG/CHASIS No. as JF21E911343/ME4JF213JA8101429.
If I do not response from your end within 3 days I have no other option but to surrender the vehicle at your workshop and is constrained to move the consumer court at this peculiar situation.

Honda — malfunctioning

Dear Sir,
I have booked an Honda Activa in the month of April 2010 with financial assistance of HDFC bank.Also I have depositedRs.20,842 as downpayment to the Kothari Wheels,pune a dealer at pune.. I was asked to enquire aqbout delivery after three months. In the month of April I got a call from dealer to collect the vehicle.As I reached the dealer dayafter I was asked to come after a week. And finally I took delivery of my vehicle on 11.07/2010. I rode the vehicle for a week and I found that it is not running properly and bending on right side causing disbalance . I took the vehicle to dealer and on some formal repairing it was given to me assuring there will be no further complaint in future.After a week I received my Insurance policy. It was totally bogus as the Engine Number and Chassis No. was totally different from the cover note. Next week I met with an accident just because of the disbalncing of the vehicle. One mere funny thing i noticed that the vehicle delivered to me , on the panel Mr.Sengupta was wriiten with wax pencil I pointed out it to the dealer.because i doubt that before me sengupta came to take the delivery and on test ride he might found some mistakes and on obliging th dealer he has taken ho sakta hai mera naam likhawala scooter vo le gaya aur mujhe ye thama diya .

    Dear Manager,
    We have purchased one Hero honda Passion plus from Kaleswar Motors, Berhampur, Ganjam. The motor cycle is belongs to the organization which is handed over to me. We are using that motor cycle in Puri of Orissa. The motor cycle is purchased from Berhampur bearing registration no. OR07-T 5307 i.e. the Puri show room is not taking care of free service with a "statement that you have purchased from Berhampur i.e we cannot take free service here" by the show room staffs. As per the facilities we have serviced the motor cycle at Golden Triangle Hero honda show room, VIP Road, Puri. Followings are the concern area of our complaint.
    1. The Behaviour of the Herohonda showroom is not at all satisfactory rather than they are misbehave to the customers.
    2. At the time of servicing they are not following their instruction given by the company like after water servicing they are not putting the air servicing.
    3. Now the engine oil licking from the motor bike after 15 days of servicing.

    This sort of behaviour by the show room is not all accepted. It creats a bad reputation of your company like Hero honda. Hope you understand the situation and act accordingly.

    i have passion plus, last service was done on 25/10/09

    i have complain about oil leakedge , after 15 days of service completed same problem obseve.
    last 4 service regularly done at GAUTAM BIKES, chandkheda ghandhinager

    before 25/10/09 servece bile was given without cleaning by saying that the machine was not working.

    my bike accidented on 19th may 2011, iam camed hero honda showroom for insurence clime on 20th may 2011 that showroom owner insurence agent called on 27th may 2011. insurence climed quatation rs.9017/- vehicle is completed on date 3rd june 2011. in show room no insurence formes. insurence clime not submitted hero honda showroom owner.

      My car was giving noise from engine. Dealer says it is because car was driven in rain on flooded roads. There is no visible mark of water entering enigine from anywhere and even interiors of car are not having any sign that it was driven through deep waters. Insurance company says it is not because of water entering engine. Car is under warranty. Both are denying and not agreeable to each other. Pls guide me how to proceed.

      I have given my car at Ring Road Honda for Servicing. In both sevicing my leather seat cover of Rs 25000/- was destroyed in first it was replaced but in second servicing now they are asking charge from me i.e there no mistake of mine i have to pay why. kindly do needful for me.

        Hi,

        I FAZAL SHAIKH have Booked an Honda Unicorn Bike on Jan 16, 2010 under Receipt No 14172 Booking No - M-12789 advance Amount Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand Rupees)from Om Sai Service Mahim Branch. At the time of booking i got a commitment that i will be getting delivery within 2 and half months. that means March ending But its already 2 months passed. I did not got any calls from the dealer till date, When i gave a call to showroom they put me on hold for 20 to 25 minutes.I spoked with Mr. Rohit Gawad your customer care, he told me that i will be getting delivery after 4 months from the date of Booking. That means in the months of May.
        I am very upset with your sales person that why they are giving wrong commitment to the customers at the time of Booking & Service which you are provided is very Bad.
        Please help me in this matter & let me know till when i will be getting Delivery of my Bike.Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        hi i booked for a new honda unicorn but it will take more than 3 months to delivering.Why ? it will take more time.may be ur holding the bike for the publicity.rest of the companies are delivering the bike maximum 2weeks.pls do the needfull things

At the time of booking i got a commitment that i will be getting delivery within 5 and 6 months. that means April ending But its already 1 months passed. I did not got any calls from the dealer till date, When i gave a call to showroom they put me on hold for 20 to 25 minutes.I spoked with your customer care, he told me that i will be getting delivery after 6 months from the date of Booking. That means in the months of May.

          Hi,
          I want to buy Honda Activa & i have checked with Palace & Hertiage Honda in Mysore,as per them booking stopped due to non supply of Vehicle from Honda Gurgaon Company & we have to wait for 4 months.

          I have checked with Haiku Honda Bangalore,as per them their is no supply problem,problem is with Heavy Booking.

          My question with Honda,why the customer has to get false information from Honda Showroom.This leads to loose the customer & changing the mind of the customer to buy other Vehicle.

          Kindly i my humble request to Honda to instruct their all respective showrooms in india to give correct information to customer to maintain good relationship.

          Yes this issue is in Navi Mumbai also. Some people are getting in black by paying 7000 Rs. extra. I don't know how they get immediately after paying extra amount?
          Same Case in Mumbai and other nearby areas. i am staying at dombivli and looking for honda activa. all the dealers and sub dealers are asking additonal 10k for its immediate delivery or i have to wait for atleadt for 8months. is there really a heavy booking for honda activa? or dealers are making money due to its popularity. i have decided to drop the idea of Honda activa and move for Suzuku or Mahendra two wheelers.

          Yes we are also facing this issue. In Sept 14th 2011 we have booked the Honda Activa with Rs. 1000/- in advance. But even now they are not having a courtesy to call the customer. and we went to the show room, and they are asking the full payment now. Now we did full payment before 10 days. But even they are not ready to give the vehicle. One side we are started to pay the interest on that. I think Company is not bother at all for this issue. As I seen in web there are so many customers are facing this issue.. I want to know whether company does not have the manpower to look after the customers grievance or company is thinking their monopoly. :

            i am existing customer of hero honda from last 22 years. Last month i have booked a hero honda hunk in red colour. Dealer Siddhivinayak Motors Miraj Dist - Sangli Maharashtra has told me that "You have got your Hunk Within in 1 Month". But after completing a one month till now i dosent get that Hunk. I Thought that its time now to change my favourite company Hero Honda with other one which gives me better service.

              I have purchased Honda Shine bike from your authorised dealer Palace JohnsHonda Thrissur on[protected].
              Whereas my vehicle throat oil through silencer.
              .I left my vehicle for servicing and told the dealer about all these problems it has defend to their ears and they are unable to solve my problem as vehicle is under warranty,I kindly request you to change my defective vehicle with a new one or else repay my hard earned money Rs 55940.00 back. Or else I will be forced to go to the consumer court.

                I'm Mr. R. Jahannath varshan from Vellore. I have purchased my Honda Unicorn from an authorised showroom in Chennai(KUN MOTORS, ADAYAR).Now i have to forward a complaint against the service of one of your authorized service centre in Vellore, Proper address- VELLORE MOTORS, No-14, 14th East cross Road, Gandhi Nagar, Vellore -632 006.
                Here is my complaint following,
                On 06-03-10 i gave my bike to the above mentioned service centre for first "FREE" service. They have changed only the engine oil. I thought since it is the first service they changed only the engine oil. They didn’t do anything further even the waterwash for the bike. They charged Rs. 170/- for the engine oil and service charge as Rs. 50/-. Will it cost Rs.50/- for a labour just to change the engine oil. Then what is the use of free services offered by you(HONDA). And I'm not satisfied with the irresponsible response from the service provider. When I enquired him he said we'll charge do whatever you want complaint anywhere we wont bother. Every service center is doing like this you wont get any service from HONDA without paying money. Is is true?. I'm sure if this problem exists then definitely it will be a hurdle for HONDA to develop customer relationship. This is not only my problem but it is everyone's problem with that service center.

                Money is not a big problem for us, but we are relying on HONDA since it is an reputable company and we have faith in it. If this problem exists I don’t know what will be the outcome among customers. They didn't serviced my bike properly and their misbehaviour to customers provoked me a lot. That's why i here by to post a complaint against the inconvenience from your service providers. And if you continue with the same responses your valuable customer's didn't stay with you. So i need your valuable reply and suggestion. And also hope you will inform the respective Dealer showroom about my complaint.

                my name is prashant from thane. i was purchase honda unicorn byke in 29th march 2010. company ne mujhe 4 servicing free di thi, maine har vakt gadi ka chota problam ho ya bada apke thane sai point automobiles service center main jake kam karvaya hai, jaise ki, back light signal louse hona ya chain loase hona kyonki byke hamne 85 % loan leke kharidi thi, bahar vahi kam bahot kam paise main bhi hota tha, but hame apke service center main jana secure samja.2011 main apke center main free servicing ke call ate the. maine washing ya engine oil change har kam sahi vakt pai kiya hai. phir 1 sal ke bad, gadi ki puri cabals kharab ho gayi maine pura kam service center main karvaya, phir chain sokcet & bearing kharab ho jana uska kam bhi apke yaha pe karvaya, phir front ka left shokopser ka oil seal kharab ho gaya.jaldi hi maine wo kam bhi karvaya. tabhi engine main thoda awaj aa raha tha, to maine servicing center main subaha gadi chodi, sham ko aya to gadi ok hai aisa bola, maine trayl li par vaisa hi awaj aa raha tha, tab muzhe bola gaya ki yeh engine ka kam hai, maine engine warrenty pucchi, to muzhe kaha gaya ki apke gadi ki servicing reguler nahi hoti, aur bad main kaha gaya ki apke engine ki warrenty khatam ho gayi hai. i am very very unsatisfied for u r honda service. so plz check my total record. & give me rep on.[protected]@rediffmail.com, [protected]@gmail.com.

                  I have booked HUNK (Color=Candy blazing red) before 3 months in Rajdeep auto mobiles at Ahmedabad but still i can't get delivery of bike as when i had booked my bike they told me you have to wait for 1 months but now evenif after 3 months they tell me we don't know when company will give us delivery. even i can't know the actual problem they not answered me properly n told me red color is available and i also send mail to company but they also not replied me.in this case what i have to do???

                  I have booked HUNK (Color=Candy blazing red) with customer ID 4720057. booking amount cash of Rs5000/- reciept number[protected] and then gave rest of the amount payment by cheque of Rs 58899( Ch # 174665) Reciept Number[protected] on 17th Feb 2010. Dealer name Singh motors, bund Garden Road, Pune. When i gave the initial 5k cash I was assured that I will get bike in 4 days as the bike is ready in stock. later even after the full payment on 17th Feb till now I m been ignored and delivery status is always tossed on saying will get in 8 days then 10 days . now as on 9th March they are saying it will take more 20 days. This is rediculos service even after I have paid full amount.I was expecting the bike on 2 good auspious occasions but they failed to deliver. Now after disapointment I am writing to your site. Please do the needful. Now I need the bike on 16th of March - Gudi Padwa else will cancel the booking and will never think of honda again and also will spread ur attitude n type of service given. Service on delivery SUCKS!!!. Hats down to big Hero Honda company. Expecting some response asap.

                  Hero Honda — Not getting delivery

                  I have booked cbz extreme of HERO HONDA on 3rd oct 2010. I m not getting the waiting list. The sales executive of SEHGAL AUTO, CHINCHWAD gives bikes immediately over extra money (ghoos).
                  on 4th Feb 2011 i made full payments of hero honda CD Deluxe bike to vision motor NSS road, Ghatkopar (w) Mumbai 400 084 but yet not receive the delivery of bike. the always says that the company has no production of this bike kindly let me know when i get my bike (CD deluxe self start ) my e-mail address is [protected]@yahoo.in
                  i'm SWEEDAL from udupi, karnataka. i have booked pleasure on 14th of feb & sales executive of jaydev motors udupi comitted to give my bike by one month but still i didnt get my plesure... i had booked my bike in my dad's name. i was very exicted & very much interested only in buying herohonda pleasure, i had asked suggestions with my cousins & friends for buying herohonda pleasure they said i'll not get a good service from udupi delears but as i had more interest in herohonda pleasure & i wanted to by only herohonda pleasure i booked it but they r delaying to give my pleasure...

                    I have booked an Honda Activa with an authorised distributor in Bhiwandi (Sai Point) on 27th of October 2009.
                    They promised me to deliver the said scooter within four months of booking. Today on 7th Manch, 2010, after frecquent enqrires about my booking, this peoplee say that Honda co. has a different kind of policies and you will have to wait for a month or more for the vehical. I am sure this guys are doing black market of the said vehical. Because this vehiccals are available with local dealers by paying an on amount on the spot. I request to look in the matter and suggest me what should I do to obtain an vehical.
                    it is very regret to say that .

                    But until today i didn't get any reply from yHONDA Dealer HI-TECH HONDA ( Mehsana (GUJARAT)

                      Dear sir,

                      I was a proud owner of "Honda SHINE"(Model Code:CBF125Q/Sold on:[protected]/Key no: 8230/) till that fate ful day when i discovered that my petrol tank was getting "rust".

                      The next day itself i got my shine at the nearest service Centre (Dealer code: KL03 0002/Dealer NAME::EVM),i lodged my complaint and they acknowledged.
                      THEY SAID THEY WANTED TO PUT FORWARD THE COMPLAINT TO THERE HEAD OFFICE AND IN SUPPORT FOR THAT THEY NEED A PIC OF MY SHINE(the petrol tank), and told me to show patience for another one week.

                      After a week when i showed up at the service center the officials at the center told me that all that they can do is to REPAINT THE PETROL TANK coz thats the suggestion/reply which they have received from there head office..
                      i am afraid this is not the permanent solution of my complaint.
                      i need a solution to my problem which is long lasting., not to forget THAT MY SHINE IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD.
                      If my problem is not looked after properly and timely, i would be compelled to move legally.

                        I purchase a Hero Honda Passion plus on 06 oct 09 from Taran Angad Traders PVT LTD Gwalior. That time apart from the bill, they levied other on road charges which included a sum of Rs. 450 for teflone coating. They said that the bike is already coated with teflone coating and another teflone coating will be given after six months and they are talking the money for the next coating in advance. The bill they made for all the charges including this one was also marked as an out pass and took it back on delivery. Today (06 Mar 10), I revisited the show room and asked for the teflone coating. The answer was that, the company has stopped the contract for giving teflone coating because of some chemical reaction on its paint. When I asked to return half of the money, the answer was we will not return it as the money was for one time coating and the other one was just a free offer. I feels it is a cheating from the dealers side.
                        These dealers are always like that. The blame should go to Hero Honda only because when it gave dealership to such people, it should be responsible for all circumstance. It is not that once after gaining good will we can do what ever it can, Only because of poor service, it is loosing its customers or else why will Honda and other companies can sale their automobiles equally compared with Hero honda.

                          I have purchased new Hero Honda Passion Pro make 2010. I got delivery on 19th of Feb 2010 and on 05th March 2010 my bike Engine got jam I have just runned bike for about 430 kms. What is the suggestion should I ask company to replace bike completely or just I get it repaired from company workshop.
                          Please suggest.

                            I hove got done repairing of my Honda Activa through Platinum Honda at Ind Area Ph 2, Chandigarh on 19.02.10. on the next day I notice leakage in Oil Chamber on reporting thic complaiint to the Platinum Honda they refuse to comply with it despite of launching complaint in writing no body is bothering to address the complaint. This kind of attitued is really rustic. Secondly I tried to launch the same Complaint with Honda Scooters India Limited but I could not find out their address in the website.
                            Please let me know where to launch my complaint to get my logical solution.

                              Dear Gentleman,
                              I took my Honda Activa on[protected] from Indusind bank two wheeler loan for an tenure of 2 years at Fortune Honda, Sainikpuri branch and i completed my payment. Inbetween i was transfered to some other location and i am unable to come and collect the NOC. Several times i tried to contact them but there is no reply from them. As if in future also i may not be able to go there. What i request you that can you send me NOC through courier to my presently living address or is it possible to collect at local INDUSIND Office. Please reply at the earliest.

                                The vibration is horrible & pickup is poorer than a 100cc engine. Also it's hard to push the vehicale beyond 70km speed for urgent use atleast. Reason a 125cc engine with only 4 step speed(gear) would cause problem. What happen to Honda engineers as of sudden to fit a speed limiter in a Jet engine.

                                Honda bikes released in the yaer[protected] has more vibrations .It is common with both shine and unicorn.
                                Also honda is not ready to accept that bikes are deffective and not ready to take it back.
                                Anyone who takes a ride willl understand it has more vibration .Even while going in 4th gear, I feel like
                                its going in 2nd or 3rd gear.

                                    I have purchsed Honda Shine on jauary 2010 and i had given the first and second service at Fortune Honda @ R.K.Puram Sainikpuri.before giving the service i had informed the problem which iam facing, that problem had solved after servicing but they were created another problem in my vehicle (Handle problem). I had visited thrice to that service centre but still the are not able to solve the problem. i has showned the same problem with the other mechanic shop they said that the problem is exist.I really not satisfied with there service centre.

                                      I have being using Hero Honda's Passion plus for about an year but im not at all satisfied with its performance ever,even on continues sevicing the problem remain their.I Have spent lot of my money on it,im really depressed from this product,so kindly sort out my problem as early as possible.

                                        Sir,
                                        1 I have purchased a honda shine from Arora moters , Jodhpur. But I whenever i went to them for any sevice/compaint about bike they said for no time or thei is rush so they are unable to provide service.
                                        2 My bike's mileage has been gone bbelow 45 Km/L. Till second service the bke was giving mileage of 60km/L but before three month it started decreas in mileage it is constant till today. it seems that the milease still going down.
                                        You r requsted to guide me for neccesary step should be taken & instruct the Arora moters to carry out service work

                                        honda/honda shine — Poor Millage

                                        I bought honda shine from paharia commercial, patna on 4th July 2007. I am facing millage problem till from that day. I also complaint in every servicing time to the dealer and also complaint on honda site. after the complaint someone call me from calcutta and said to talk with patna's service engginier. I tried sevral time but i cann't contect with him because he not respond my call and when i went to service centre i got him in leave. Honda's service engg never call to me after all that exercise. When I bought the motorcycle it was giving 42-45 km/lt now it's comes on 32-35 km/lt and also send black fuel from silenssor, but Honda's mechanic tell me after seeing the spark plug that your millage is better. What I do? Any Help Pl
