Dear Sir,

My bike is having frequent misfire problem and I have complained in the BHANU Automobile showroom(hyderabad) but the problem is not rectified in the last two services.
I bought my bike in sep2007 from bhanu automobiles(hyderabad). I feel asahmed o[censored]sing this bike due to misfire which happens frequently. Please do the needful to resolve this misfire issue.

    I am Anagha. I have problem in my Activa. I purchase this new vehicle last month only Around 15 days before from Pashankar Auto J.M. Road, Pune. My vehicle is new and i know that morning we have to start the vehicle with the help of KICK. And earlier i used activa only so i know that early morning we have to start the vehicle with the help of KICK. but this new vehicle can not start with the help of STARTER button in the remaining whole day.

    When i ask the person who working there he told me we have to charge the battery. How can u release the vehicle without check the vehicle? I need the vechicle that's why i purchase because daily i have to cross the distance around 20 KM from my home to office and last week suddenly the vehicle stop on the highway and not started. If i invest 5/- Rs then i expect na ki i get the reward of whole 5/-Rs. at right time.

    What can i do just help me because i am from middle class family, because i have to cross the highway, i purchase the vehicle and if new vehicle stopp any time at any place thn what can i do?

    Earlier i used activa only in Ahmedabad around 3 years. That's blindly i purchase activa only. I hope a line in reply is expectable from you.

      Subject: - Not getting of HONDA ACTIVA DELUXE MODEL (white) after 5 months of
      booking.
      Dear Sir,
      I have booked Honda activa on 2nd September 2009 at your dealer TAJSHREE AUTOWHEELS PVT. LTD. , Deonagar, Nagpur .I am a state government employee and I have taken a loan of Rs.45,000/- from my department & hence now, I have to submit the papers of purchase of vehicle to my department.
      In these 150 days of period, I have asked the said dealer many times about the delivery of Activa but he said that there was 3 month’s strike in the company. Some time he told that company is not sending the deluxe model in white colour. But at the time of booking he told that we will get the WHITE DELUXE MODEL OF ACTIVA within 90 days, and then also I did not get the delivery of activa till date (i.e. after 150 days). Hence I want to know the delivery status of Activa Deluxe White model. Expecting a satisfactory response from your world class company “HONDA”.
      It is requested to kindly send a WHITE DELUXE MODEL OF ACTIVA to your dealer TAJSHREE AUTOWHEELS PVT.LTD. , DEONAGAR, NAGPUR or give delivery of the same model to me from your another dealer (i.e. SUDARSHAN) of NAGPUR.

      hi i have been booked activa before 4 month they give me the date june 12 to be delivered but they say that you will get after 1 month then they say that we will give to july 1st or 2nd week after then i call on 2nd week they tell me now you will get at 3rd or 4th week then just now i call to them so they are telling that you will gwt on august 1st week some people who have book after me they got there activa and they are taking for me time and giving the proper answer to me pls do as possible soon

      Honda Activa — Non delivery of Activa after 13 months also

      we had booked activa withe Om sai Honda in Malad, Mumbai. We were given 11 monthes waiting period initially. When we made thee final payment, we were told theat thee bike will be delivered withein 1 monthe. But now more thean 3 monthes and have not got thee bike, nor theere is proper response given by thee Dealer. I have already given 53385/- payment on 4the October and hv not received thee delivered. There has been a lot of mental harassment from theis dealer and also theey have taken our money. PLs suggest wat to do in theis. Your help is needed

        Dear Sir,

        I AM SAMEER.K.H, A CUSTOMER OF HONDA MOTORCYCLE DEALER, M/s. ARYABHANGY MOTORS, AMC XVII / 506 (4/5), NH BYEPASS, ALWAYE - 683101.

        I BOUGHT A NEW BIKE HONDA SHINE(REG NO:KL-42-B-8706) FROM THE DEALER (N.PARAVUR DEALER) ON 16/03/2009.I HAVE CONTINUED THE REGULAR SERVICES AND CHECKUPS FROM THE DEALER. AFTER A FEW MONTHS ONESIDE OF BACK TYRE BEGAN TO DEPLETE. NOTICING THIS COMPLAINT, I HAVE INFORMED THE DEALER'S SERVICES DEPARTMENT(NORTH PARAVUR ). I GOT THE REPLY THAT, IT WILL BE OK IN SOMEDAYS.WHEN THE DEPLETION CONTINUED, I HAVE AGAIN APPROACHED THE SERVICE ENGINEER, THEN HE GIVE A REPLY THAT ITS THE COMPLAINT OF MRF TYRE, AND I HAVE TO GO TO THE MRF TYRE SHOWROOM AT ERNAKULAM AND THEY WILL REPLACE THE TYRE. I HAVE APPROACHED THE MRF TYRE SHOWROOM, THEY PROVIDED ME A REPORT(COPY ATTACHED) THAT THE COMPLAINT IS NOT BECAUSE OF THE TYRE, BUT ITS OF THE BIKE'S SHOCKABSORBER.

        AFTER GIVING THE REPORT TO SERVICE DEPARTMENT(ALUVA), THEY HAVE REPLACED THE SHOCKABSORBER. BUT THEY ARE NOT READY TO REPLACE THE TYRE.IN THIS BAD CONDITION IT'S SO TOUGH TO RIDE MY BIKE.

        I HUMBLY REQUEST YOU TO DO THE NEEDFUL AT YOUR END FOR THE TYRE REPLACEMENT.

        AWAITING A QUICK & FAVOURABLE REPLY FROM YOUR SIDE. DEPENDING ON YOUR REPLY, I HAVE TO DECIDE WHETHER TO GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT OR NOT.

          I have send the following complaint to www.consumercomplaints.in and the
          following is the complete matter of my complaint for your reference and
          suitable action :-

          About a week ago, I had given my Honda Activa scooter MH 12 EV 5915 for a
          paid service to B U Bhandari Auto Ltd. at their Viman Nagar Signal Junction
          branch at Pune. I had listed about 6 to 7 complaints and was assured by
          their authorized person who booked my scooter that it will be taken care of.
          I even asked him if they would open the drum of the hind wheel and check if
          the liners had become hard since the vehicle was not stopping as it should
          when braked. He said "Of course, it is included in the paid service and we
          shall pour some petrol on the liners to make them soft." I even told him
          about the misfiring and excess petrol consumption and the lock of the dickey
          seat not opening among other complaints. I asked him to lubricate the
          handle lock and the side stand and the kick start, as they were running a
          bit rough. He spoke very diligently and assured me of good service. I
          signed that the service was done satisfactorily and I was happy - NOW THIS
          WAS DONE EVEN BEFORE ANY WORK HAD BEEN PERFORMED ON THE SCOOTER. I WAS MADE
          TO SIGN ON GIVING THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICING - ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. When I
          contested that how can I be satisfied when the vehilce has not even been
          touched by him or his mechanics for any repairs, he answered that this was
          the mode of functioning of all their service outlets in Pune and if I had
          any objection to it, I may take the vehicle elsewhere for getting it
          serviced. NOW IS THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION - IF IT IS - INDIA
          HAS REALLY PROGRESSED BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS. I was getting late for my office
          and kept quiet and just gave in and signed on the service job card as he
          wanted me to do. I asked him for the charges and he informed me that for
          servicing their establishment charges Rs. 200/= and for spares extra as per

          Hi,

          I have my activa handle problem since 2 month due to which i am not able to drive it. I showed to Activa service center which is in Khargharghar Navi Mumbai, its address is : NITAL AUTOMOBILES, Shop No. 6/7, Plot 22, Sector 22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Ph. No:[protected]/27742770.he told me that there is not parts available and will come within 4 days.. the same thing he keep telling since 2 month. I don't know that why Honda Activa selling bike if they doent have parts and if they can't solve the customer issue. My bike is standing at my parking since 2 month and i spent so much money in rickshaw for travel. I become frustrate from honda activa.The govt needs to take serious action against him so that we no other person would suffer like i am suffering.

            sir,
            I brought my honda shine bike one year back. My fuel tank cap was rusted inside. I gave the bike for service on 30/1/2010. Age of my bike at that time was 1 year 2 days. The deler says the warandy is for one year. My argument is it is not rustedin 2 days. I feel that the manufatures gave some defective part to me. I requested to change the cap in warandy

              recently I have purchased a Honda Shine 125 bike from dealer named "SHyam Honda" Indore. Headlight fering made of fiber which is screwed, is broken out because of mere speed breaker's up-down impact. service manager did not take responsibility of damage. my bike is only 2 month older.
              please do the needful and replace my parts because it was due to weak material.

                I myself has faced the misbehavioural problem at the service station, no one was ready to listen unless we shouted, , even after 8 days they could not complete the small job of changing the front panel of the scooter at GLOBUS HONDA SERVICE STATION, G.T. Karnal Road, Delhi on[protected] evening time. please do something or one day Honda will left by the customers...
                They are unethical and are not upto there word...they bluntly refise to what they had promised or said...Kindly look into this matter seriously...Its a Humble request.

                  i purcahsed a unicorn on oct.2009. within 500 km riding i got severe backpain and informed the dealer about this problm. they adjusted the shock up & the prblm still continue. after that i reduced the air pressure in the rear wheel to 20 psi. & the pain is reduced. now my doubt is, is it advicible to ride the vehicle in the 20 psi.
                  or the company may take the responsibility to rectify the prblm.

                  Honda Unicorn — shock Up complaint

                  its my 2nd email complaint.I BOUGHT MY UNICORN BIKE ON 10TH NOV 2009.On the same day itself i found rust on the front shock absorber.i went to service station&servicemen said that its an unusual complaint its need to be painted.Thus i need to keep the bike for i day there.Then on nov 15th i notice some noise from back shock absorber,again i went to service station&servicemen said that there is a problem of lubrication &its better to rectify on the 1st service.Then i mail my 1st complaint to honda.After two days i got a call from honda servicestation thrissur&tell me to bring my bike to thrissur,which is 40 km away from my home.Due to some reasons i cant bring bike to there for some days.Atlast on[protected] i bring my bike to thrissur around 10o clock morning.on 18th they call me&said that they can only rectify the problem if they get one writtern sanction from one of the honda copmpany person coming to there on 20th,its required to keep my bike there untill 20th or i can take the bike and again bring to thrissur on 20th, if i have emergency.it was so shocking that they do not bother about my time.Now my qn is genuine,for what i bought a bike,to use or to kept it on service station?remember i bought a brand new bike&the complaint i register is just the manufacturing defect,i dont have much time to spent for it.I just loss my belief in honda.this bike is not a gift given by honda to me.I need a faster response on this issue.remember still my bike is at thrissur service station.

                  hi, my name is chetan .I have purchased Honda unicorn bike from javeri honda (fort) in February 2009 since then im experience a lot of problem in my bike
                  1) average problem(22km/litre)

                  well soon after the 1st servicing my bike average start declining well though i had did servicing form javeri.
                  when i brought my bike from service center there was a petrol leakage from my bike and many more prblm started arising resulting in very poor performance of my bike .

                    Dear Sir,

                    I bought a Unicorn (Black) in the month of Aug 2009 from JSP Honda showroom, which is in AnnaNagar Chennai. After First service dated 22/08/2009 (Job Card No: 112384) the total electrical system was not working. I approached the service dealer (JSP – Annanagar, Chennai), he told that the electrical fuse malfunction and replaced with new one.

                    Within next 300 Kms of riding I faced the problem of malfunction in the rpm meter & speedometer (Odometer reading: 1450 Km). They replaced with newest under warranty.

                    Again after one month I encountered a problem of total electrical system failure just before my second service. I filed a complaint during the second service dated 2/11/2009 (Job Card No: 117800).

                    After the second service also I faced the similar problem. I filed a complaint during my third service dated 30/12/2009 (Job Card No: 122043). They told that they have checked the total electrical wirings and suspect in the brake switch. They disconnect the electrical connection for both the brake switch connection (Connection to Brake Tail lamb) and asked to drive the vehicle for three days. After three days they had connected the rear brake light switch and asked to drive for 2 days. No problems were faced during that time. After that they connected both brake switch connection and asked to drive. Within two days the same problem occurred (Total electrical System failure). I filed a complaint regarding this dated 03/02/2010 (Work Order No: 124975). Then they told that this is because of problem in the front brake switch and replaced with newer one. The same day I encountered the same problem. Now I filed a complaint dated 04/02/2010 (Job Card No: 125073).

                    The same story keeps on going. I don’t know what service they are doing. I really disappointed over this. Please advice on this and resolve the problem.

I had one problem that is my headlight focus is not straight slightly tilt left side. i complained two times also during servicing but they are not rectified my problem. second thing they was not gave my RC book

                        I have purchased a Honda Stunner on 24th Aug 2009 from Bangalore(Dhruvdesh Honda).
                        On 20th Jan 2010 I had done my 3rd servicing at Dhruvdesh Honda.
                        I had complained about the abnormal engine sound above 50 Km/Hr. Which is not been rectified during the servicing.

                        The services provided by the service staff are unsatisfactory.
                        following problems have been faced by me:-
                        1. observed abnormal engine sound at a particular speed ranges, above 50 Km/Hr.
                        2. this abnormal sound does not appers in other speed ranges
                        3. fuel economy is very low than prescribed by the dealer, it is just 48-50 Km/Ltr
                        4. heavy vibration on higher speeds above 50 Km/Hr.

                          Dear Sir,
                          I purchased Hero Honda Glamour FI from Varenyam Motors, Bhopal on 07 Dec 2009. They while giving the bike took the money for Insurance of the Vehicle & gave me a Cover Note of The Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd Insurance assusring me that I'l be receinving the Policy Papers within a month. The Cover Note has an expiry period of 15 days. The police has once caught me on the lines of not possessing the Insurance policy even after a month of vehicle purchase.
                          The officials out there at Varenyam Motors, Bhopal arent responding positively at my request and even after repeated cals, they havent followed up my case of non delivery of the Insurance Policy.

                          i will be highly obliged if you can please help me out in this respect.

                            dear sir
                            it is my painful duty to bring into your kind notice that i bought a honda activa on 30th of january. The payment that i made was on the basis of the ex-showroom amount Rs.37868 as calculated by the staff thereon. After 2 days when i checked the amount on the reciept provided it was Rs.36868 resulted in the excess payement of Rs.1000. On visiting the showroom (HORIZON HONDA, Main road Ranchi) the staffs there rejected...

                            hello sir...i m using honda unicorn for past six months....i have rode almost 10000 kms....ter s a problem in my bike back wheel.....the wheel is wearing whenever i ride.....when i deal this problem with the dealer lakshmi honda,Madurai they said that its not the problem of the bike......so i just consult the MRF tyre company...they said that its not the problem of tyre.....its really hectic to understand the reason behind it....the service of Lakshmi honda is really very very very worst....i have given four times service over there...they r nt delivering it with in three days...they r very much delaying in delivery..... after servicing also the problem is nt recovered......wen i gave it again for service for the same problem they r nt concerned with tat....again and again the same problem persists....there s also not even a single spare parts available ter.....i m having evidence for watever i said......please take steps regarding this...its really a big black mark for the honda company in customer side.....hope u take necessary steps as early as possible.....hope u ll reply

                              I purchased a honda stunner bike on 21/6/2009 from honda showroom at raja garden naming capital scooters. sir from the very first day of purchase i am facing the problem of voice from the chain set of my bike also i have complaint every time at the service station and also at the dealers (capital scooters) about the chain set problem but every time they say after service that it will not make noice but till date it is making noise . i had given my bike for service on 28/1/2010 with the same complaint of voice from chain set but it has not been repaired till date . sir your suggestion is required. my contact no. is [protected]

                                About a week ago, I had given my Honda Activa scooter MH 12 EV 5915 for a paid service to B U Bhandari Auto Ltd. at their Viman Nagar Signal Junction branch at Pune. I had listed about 6 to 7 complaints and was assured by their authorized person who booked my scooter that it will be taken care of. I even asked him if they would open the drum of the hind wheel and check if the liners had become hard since the vehicle was not stopping as it should when braked. He said "Of course, it is included in the paid service and we shall pour some petrol on the liners to make them soft." I even told him about the misfiring and excess petrol consumption and the lock of the dickey seat not opening among other complaints. I asked him to lubricate the handle lock and the side stand and the kick start, as they were running a bit rough. He spoke very diligently and assured me of good service. I signed that the service was done satisfactorily and I was happy - NOW THIS WAS DONE EVEN BEFORE ANY WORK HAD BEEN PERFORMED ON THE SCOOTER. I WAS MADE TO SIGN ON GIVING THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICING - ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. When I contested that how can I be satisfied when the vehilce has not even been touched by him or his mechanics for any repairs, he answered that this was the mode of functioning of all their service outlets in Pune and if I had any objection to it, I may take the vehicle elsewhere for getting it serviced. NOW IS THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION - IF IT IS - INDIA HAS REALLY PROGRESSED BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS. I was getting late for my office and kept quiet and just gave in and signed on the service job card as he wanted me to do. I asked him for the charges and he informed me that for servicing their establishment charges Rs. 200/= and for spares extra as per costs. I asked him that if any spares need to be replaced, will he inform me. He took my mobile no. on the job card and told me that it would be done.

                                I have now driven the vehicle for about 4 to 5 days and found that the misfiring is still continuing, the rear brake is still not working to satisfaction, the dickey seat and handle locks still do not function smoothly, the kick start lever is still very very hard to turn on its side before kicking for starting, and the fuel average has gone further down than what it was when I had given the vehicle for servicing. I approached him on Thursday to report about these points and told him to reduce the idling too as the vehicle when stopped near a signal, raced a bit too much. He reluctantly told me to meet one Mr. Mirajkar, whom I presumed to be the head of the service department there. Mr. Mirajkar gave me about a minute to tell him all of the above and he indirectly softly shouted at his mechanic to attend to the idling. The mechanic made a face and got some meter and non-interestingly banging around, opened the bonet of the scooter and showed me the idling meter reading saying it was normal. I told him to reduce it. He reported this to Mr. Mirajkar, who was sitting close by - who sarcastically told him to reduce it till I was satisfied. He did it while murmuring to himself - to which I felt very insulted. He told me that the fuel consumption had gone up and the average come down as the fuel tap had become direct - now what he meant by it, I could not understand. I asked Mr. Mirajkar that since my vehicle was still in warranty, should it not be replaced free of charge. He told me no and that I would have to pay for it. I then asked him if they had opened the brake drum since it was not functioning properly for braking. He said that we do not include it in the servicing and that I would have to pay Rs. 60/- extra for it if I wanted to get it done. I told him what the person who had booked my scooter for servicing had told me - that it was included in the service. He disagred. I asked him then what did they charge Rs. 200/= for - was it only for washing the vehicle. He said they did many a task on it. I told him I found none of my complaints had been attended to. He plainly told me to complaint to the company HQ at Gurgaon. I told him that I was not a person who feels afraid to complaint and if he thought that his rough talk and high handed attitude would frighten me from exercising my right, he was wrong. I would surely do it since I am an educated man and know how to deal in such situations. I even told him that I would knock the doors of the consumer court and write letters to Times of India for all that had transpired between us. He retorted "GO AHEAD, NO ONE IS STOPPING YOU".

                                It is for t his reason that I am now sending this complaint to you and would request that I see the light of justice. Please advise me what should be the first step that I should do - should I go to the Police and complaint or is there something else that would get results faster? PLEASE DO ADVISE ON TOP PRIORITY.

                                I booked my Honda Activa on 02.02.2010. At that time i pay the owner Rs. 1, 000/-

                                After 2 months i was went to check the status of my Activa, that fellow told me that please pay the full payment around of Rs. 47, 000/-.

                                First of all they don't inform us that please come & pay the balance amount. They don't have curtersy to tell each and every person who booked the vehicle that please pay the balance figure.

                                Last month on 1st week of April we pay the full amount. Till date they don't tell us the confirm date of delivery also...

                                No doubt i used activa in the past also. And activa is the best model...usme koi shak nahi hai...

                                But Atleast after full payment please vehicle give in time. i am from middle class family ...i have to change 3 buses from my home to reach office in a single time. I take a loan The installment deduction procedure is started...Atleast please think on point of view one middle class person.

                                Lower class get the benefits from Government, High class already used luxrious items...bich me fas jate hai hum jaise middle class family log...

                                    I have purchased the Hero Honda Passion Pro on 11.11.09 at Nagappa Motors, Chennai from the day of purchase i reported that wheel vobling, they said it will get adjusted in the 1st service. After 1st service ie., 12.12.2009 still it is vobling inspite of four times replacing the tyre by the service center. Once against I complaint of Vobling. Now I have given my vehicle to the service center on 21.1.09 for the same complaint but till now they have not rectified and return my vehicle. What I come to know is of technical default by the Manufacturer itself. So I request that New Vehicle may be replaced.

Showroom person told me to that we will give you bike within 15 days. but at the end of 31st may he said bike has come please make the payment. as per his words i made payment on that same day. but today 11 june still i didnt get my bike. whenever i call that sales person, he tel different story. this showroom people giving false hope and wrong commitments to customers. evryday he tel today evening bike will come we will give you tomorrow.                                       I've very bad experience with Honda Two Wheelers India Ltd. I have booked a bike on 9-3-10, and still I haven't got my bike. This is really painful and bad service.

This not a good response. make your delivers fast as much you can. your customer support is very bad, make it good. I thought honda is really good in customer support but now i'm really fed up with that.

                                      Honda people are not delivering the bike on time. I booked the bike on 19 jan 2010 and i have not yet received till date (June 2010). I got a call to pay the 70K amount in May 2010 and I paid the entire amount. Honda people promised me give by bike 20th June 2010 but I have not yet received.
                                      This is bad and Honda Company giving chance to their competitor to grow and win the confidence of Honda customer. Sometime I thinking why I have booked the Honda brand (its elephant teeth)

                                      I am a victim of the same Honda showroom. I've been desperately trying to get a Honda activa which was supposed to be delivered some 3 weeks back. Every time I call they come up with some new excuse. and further delay the delivery by 4-7 days. I'm not sure when and even If I will get the delivery of my scooter. I've already paid the complete amount to them on some 20 days back. I would suggest you to be prepared for this if you are going to buy something from there.
