The affected batteries were shipped with specific HP, Compaq, HP ProBook, HP ENVY, Compaq Presario, and HP Pavilion Notebook Computers sold worldwide from March 2013 through October 2016, and/or were sold as accessories or spares, or provided as replacements through Support.


HP customers affected by this program will be eligible to receive a free replacement battery for each verified, recalled battery.

    I bought hp pavilion with extended warranty this year when my laptop stop working and I get it checked from service center they said warranty void due to rusting on HDMI port due to spillage which is illogical
    When I check my motherboard I found that there is rusting on every usb port from inside which is not due to spillage . I have video proof of my motherboard which is recorded by me in service center
    So now I just want my warranty claim.
    I am writing this because I want written before filling case in consumer court.

    We purchased hp Pavillion model No. i5 AU620TX, 15.6 Inch, Sr. No. 5CD638888JS Product No. Z4Q39PA#ACJ, Natural Silver colour laptop on 16.01.2017 from e-Zone, Chembur. We found following error during use.
    1) When device connected to audio jack. The loptop shows that the device is still not connected.
    We purchased hp Pavillion model No. i5 AU620TX, 15.6 Inch, Sr. No. 5CD638888JS Product No. Z4Q39PA#ACJ, Natural Silver colour laptop on 16.01.2017 from e-Zone, Chembur. We found following error during use.
    1) When device connected to audio jack. The loptop shows that the device is still not connected.
    AMD RADEON GRAPHICS NOT supporting for windows 7 or windows 10 operating system. please resolve the problem as soon as possible. when we install the amd graphics it will show the error message and then restart it automaticallt several times.continously.

      I bought my laptop from 'virendra jain laptop &mobile gallery, rajeev plaza GF shop no.11 jayendraganj lashkar gwalior" .After buying this laptop [hp ay089tu]..when i came at home i saw some scrathes on the front side ...i ingored it.because when i buying this the representative told me that while making ready for use it would get rush thats why..but when, on the daytime in the sunlight i saw it has a too much scrathes and rough surface ..anyone who saw this tell me that this laptop is already used ..not only that it has scraches on its edges.i checked the warranty status...and that is also 6 months eairliar. i atteched some photos also, i paid for a brand new laptop so i want a brand new laptop..not a used one . thankyou

      I purchased printer on 16/01/2017from Kochi.. After refilling catridge when I put catridge printer shows "no ink" indication. Twice I refilled and replaced the same indication shows. Print which came out without printing.
      I Recently bought a new laptop HP Pavilion 14-AL010TX W6T24PA 14 Inch Laptop (Core i7 6th Gen/12GB/128GB+1TB/Wind 10/4GB Graphics with these specs
      But the system is hanging always and not getting performance like a basic And not responding some times and display is not working properly

        Dear sir,
        I beg to say that i have been frustrated with the hp product whose product number is m2w73pa#acj serial number is 5cd5267fkt which i have been purchased on august 06, 2015 after that i had got a lots of problem with the products such as display usb port etc (Case id:- [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]). Now i am recently suffering battery problem. From the starting of the product purchased i never used it peacefully, it always do slow processing according to the i5 product, i have been frustrated with the product which is the worst product of the hp.
        As i recently consulted your costumer carewith the battery problem they replied that my products warranty had been expired and need to be replaced with new one whose price is near about rs 8500 which i can’t afford.

          My complain number [protected], i spoke with mr. Saket shaha, and
          Mr. Satarth parkash. Its been 2 weeks no one has call back.

          I am writing to issue a complaint regarding a recent product purchase.
          Dec. 2016. I purchase a hp deskjet 5820 printer.

          Since day one this product is not working properly. I make so many calls
          On toll free number finally i got a complain number the printer becomes
          Very hot in few seconds. After long chase on complain a service center
          Person came 1 week a go and declar that both the heads must replace.

          I got a service call report form with me. It says that both the heads
          Must be replace. The hp call me other day and want to replace the heads
          Which i dont like to replace since i paid full as a brand new printer i
          Want a replace printer.

          This printer is not working since i opened it. Its not even 1 month
          Ince i notice this after many calls i have decided that if hp dose not
          Replace with new printer i will take this matter to indian consumer
          Court.

            Dear Sir,
            I bought Hp pavilion 306 laptop on 11th April, 2016. I don’t have good knowledge about technical terms. After a few day of purchase, the laptop used to turn off without any reason. I called the hp support who guided me to go through different processes like system check etc. but it did not work. Then an engineer named Mr. Naveen visited it and open the hardware of the laptop. I asked the reason but he could not give any satisfactory result. but he could no restore the laptop and the problem persisted. Then a senior engineer attended the case. I complained him why the hardware was opened. Immediately, t he called Mr. Naveen asked the reason. They told me that he was looking for some technical snag. Any how they fixed the problem by downloading some BIOS FILE. I was satisfied with the solution and the laptop worked well for some days. Once again when I did system recovery, the same problem reoccurred and again the went through the same process. They had to upload the BIOS FILE and it again worked well. The assured me that the problem will take reoccurred in future. But since then everytime I do the system recovery the problem exists again. this time when I told the help center that I need a complaint number in order to sue them in the National Consumer Cell, they denied to give me any complaint number until I allow him to repair the laptop. I cooperated them in all my possible capacity but now I am forced to complain in consumer cell.
            You can access to all the telephonic conversation history between me and engineers and help centers.
            I need a permanent solution to this problems. I know that the service center is just trying to buy more some in order to consumer the warranty period.

                Hii I'm Abin. Recently i changed the touch screen of my laptop through ADP because of a small damage. But after that am facing a lot of problems in my display.such as, when i open a white tab the colour of white indicates pale red colour.And a small black mark also in the down left corner of the screen. I filed another case through HP ONLINE CASE BOOKING NUMBER.But they closed that case telling it will not cover under warranty and ADP. The thing is, they did not even check the laptop.They asked me some snapshot of that issue and i mailed.(Even that issue is not properly visible in that snaps)then they closed that case by mentioning "This issue will not cover under warranty and ADP" I don't understand, Cracks and damages will cover under warranty and ADP but not this kinda issue. If this damage has happened from my side, Ok i can manage. But this issue was happened after installing the new touch screen only. And HP did not even try to check that exact issue. More over they are eager to close my case. I thought HP service was good but i was wrong. Worst service ever.

                    The HP laptop Pav x360 Convert 13-u132TU was purchased on 1 January 2017. Within a span of 10 days, the laptop started creating problems by taking at least 3 minutes to wake up from sleep/hibernation. To wake up from sleep mode, the laptop's lid is lifted but nothing appears except for a black screen for about 1.5 minutes. Then the lid has to be put down again and then opened again and this process repeated another time to finally get the laptop to come on. Same is the case with hibernation This laptop, being 7th gen, i5 processor takes 5 minutes to process information in it (EVEN THOUGH THERE ISNT ANY INFO IN IT BECAUSE IT IS A BRAND NEW LAPTOP) while my old HP laptop, which is i5 too with so many of my files in it takes less than 40 seconds to come on. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. this a NEW piece and it has created so many problems in just 10 days. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE COMPANY CANNOT REPLACE THE PIECECase ID is [protected]. KINDLY REVIEW THE CASE NOW!!! my college has started and i am facing inconvenience just because my damn laptop doesnt come on. I miss out on taking the lecture notes .

                      Hello. I recently bought a laptop from an authorised hp dealer. This machine featured integrated full version of ms office. It has been 5 days and i have been unable to activate the same. I bought this machine for official purposes and hence, it is imperative that my ms office becomes functional as soon as possible. I launched a complaint with hp support and after 4 days of regular correspondence, they withdrew and asked me to mail microsoft instead. It was assured to me on the first day that hp will resolve the issue along with microsoft. The details of my complaint are:

                        Online Order placed with advance payment on Jan 04 2017 for same day delivery. Order ID 829869. Item not delivered till this time, i.e. Jan 10, 2017 10 am. Airway bill given by HP is wrong as per Blue Dart. Contacts to HP customer toll free number several times has not resulted in no response. Four e-mails sent to HP estore India remain unresponded. Really disappointed the way a reputed multi-national company like HP handles customer service.

                              I have recently purchased a laptop hp 14-AMO20TU on 20/11/2016 price Rs 34790. The laptop is making annoying crackling noise which l communicated to the dealer however he at first said it is normal and when I personally contacted him he said it can't be solved and asked me to contact HP authorities. I put a complaint with company who advised me to go for hard disk test which I did but the problem didn't resolve which I communicated to them. Now I am being asked to install SSD drive on my laptop which is quite rediculous as it seems to be a manufacturing defect which they should either resolve or replace with a non defective laptop. I am a middle class person and can't afford to keep a defective product so it's humbly requested to help me as they are unnecessarily giving non viable suggestions which amounts to harassment.

                                Dear sir / mam,

                                I poonam singh, had purchased an hp laptop (Model hp spectre 13v 122tu, s/n: cnd63518qk) on 10th nov 2016 thru geonet it mall situated at kharghar navi mumbai. Self paid a premium amount of inr 1.40 lakhs for the same. On advise of the sales person mr harish (Mob no: [protected]) self bought an extended warranty program for the laptop for a sum of inr 23, 404/-

                                But to my dismay i have still not received any extended warranty confirmation from any of the hp official and its almost close to 2 months now. The extended warranty job was done by iqor global services india pvt limited and contact person who was attending to my calls and had done the invoicing is mr imran saifi (Mob no: [protected]).

                                Self has made numerous calls to both of them and the only reply they give me is that it will be issued shortly. Iam just thinking if this is the service given to someone who buys the most premium of the product from hp then what would be the level of service for lower cost products from hp?
                                Pls look into the matter with serious concern as i have invested in a very premium laptop but am not able to avail benifits even after paying thru my nose.

                                Pls find attached invoice for the extended warranty.

                                  My laptop touch has broken but it cover under ADP. So last December i filed a complaint and one agent who came from HP service centre Bangalore .and while repairing time the power cable and the newly installed touch has broken.Again they took 2 weeks for repairing that. but the problem is my laptop display still red in colour. It is not like my old display.How many days it will run neatly i don't know.Worst service i ever seen.Lot of struggle i faced.

                                    Dear sir,
                                    My printer 5525 is out of warranty. A few days ago, it suddenly stopped printing. I carried the printer to your authorised service centre, opposite manipal hospital in kodihalli. After examining the printer, the service man told me that it required some parts which hp had stopped supling and the printer is an obsolete one. When i checked online site of hp, i find that 5525 is not mentioned in the retired list. If that be so, do you have the part a new print head to replace
                                    In 5525 so that i need not go for another one.
                                    Further if you do not the spare, that i am left with only to go for a new one.
                                    I would appreciate, if you suggest a colour printer which can print, scan copy and photo with usb and wifi. Also it should print from mobile phones, ipad etc.
                                    Also scan to email and auto dplex printing and scanning

                                      Sir,
                                      I bought a HP laptop on 1st Jan 2016 due to some problem they changed my laptop's motherboard in Oct 2016 under warranty but they put a duplicate and old motherboard. Now it was creating some problem after some days of replacement. Now I want to return this laptop.
                                      I complained to HP about my problem they got the problem but here came new problem that the Serial number of my laptop was miss - matched as HP assistance was detecting some other Serial number and on laptop was something else.
                                      They asked me whether anyone came to me to update some software after changing the motherboard. It must be done by any HP engineer after changing the motherboard but they did not do which was a kind of fraud.
                                      The replaced motherboard is old too. When I was talking to HP help and support the technical team about what is the major role of serial number in a product. We can check whether the product is under warranty or not. Again HP assistance was show that product is out of warranty.

                                        The sales person misled me first on the price and next on the service. Very bad experience and low csat. Pls take action against the hp center located at chenoy trade centre secundrabad phone number [protected].
                                        The person talk lacked integrity and main aim is to sell by hook or crook. No facts communicated and jack up the price with stupid conditions.
