heres a complaint for you i bought a compaq on 8/14/06.
windows xp desk top....

problem one started soon as i pluged my computer up.sound probelms. the sound would go beeeeeeeeeeeeeep really loud thats all you would hear then itd go dead. restarted computer.didnt help.turned ocmputer off didnt help.turned it off a second time.sound was restored..

and as ive learned thats how it works .the osund messes up goes beeeeeeeeeeeep then dead...have to turn computer off two times to get sound back..

computer came with computer mouse, and mouse ball, but no back on the computer mouse...

key board went dead in 2 weeks

....its now october 12th 2007. the optical driver seems to have went dead now..it no longer can read dvds or cds. in otehr words cant play cd,dvd,computer disc game,cant burn cd or dvd..its just dead...

I paid 700 dollars for this office max compaq piece of .

      FRAUD BY HEWLETT-PACKERD SERVICE CENTER(MAHA ELECTRONICS jayanagar 3rd block),
      i gave my dv2701tx for repair at hp authorized service center(MAHA ELECTRONICS jayanagar 3rd block), m using dis laptop from past 3 years.. n approxi 5 t0 6 times sys board is replaced by same service center...last two months back again same, sys board problem m facing.. so i gave my lappy to service center..its under d warrenty, n my laptop sys board is replaced twice. in dat they replaced dead sys board.. n mentioned fake sys board serial no on service report sheet.. n send me d cautation of 23000/. rupees..AS I AM STUDENT I CANT AFFOERD DIS AMOUNT.. i want to approach consumer court to fill dis complaint.., SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE..

          Hewlett Packard — Hewlett Packard mobile draw lottery

          I got an SMS on my Idea mobile phone saying I had won 400, 000 GBP in the Hewlett Packard mobile draw. I sent them my details by email. Now they are demanding 39, 999 INR to be first paid as service and delivery charges to their diplomat sent to India. They also gave an address in Wrights Lane, Kensington, London and two phone numbers of Mr Martins Evans starting with +44-703 and the diplomat Mr Harry Marshal's Phone number [protected]. They claim he arrived in India by Emirates on July 6th. Is all this a scam? If it is fake, will it affect me if they somehow use my personal details?

            With reference to the above complaint numbers, my monitor was replaced once and repaired many times. Every time the new parts were not satisfactory and proven to be faulty. The issue has been prolonged for about two months now. The monitor had no issue since begining as it was sparingly used. Now that the monitor was used for needed amount of periods, it started showing problems. Every replaced part was then found faulty and moreover unsatisfactory.


            The powerboards have been replaced 4-5 times after which TFT screen was replaced due to a lamp issue. The replaced new TFT screen had patches and showed vertical line defect after prolonged use. With the further request by the service center, another monitor was then sent which was also found with patches and vertical line problem again.

            A solution provided by the service team is a new monitor S2021A. This monitor is not acceptable to me since it is compaq, aesthetically and comparatively does not match same standards. If a new monitor is being availed please provide some options so that requirements are met.

            Every time a refurbished part was replaced. All the parts were not in acceptable working condition. No further refurbished parts will be accepted. If no new parts are available for this monitor then please provide an acceptable solution.

            Your solutions are leaving the customer in misery and no choice.

            Such incidences are also not favourable for any future purchases from the company.

            Please provide a proper solution.

            Note :- When the monitor was being repaired for the first time in may, it had seal in the chasis, but there was no seal behind the TFT panel (this was also indicated to the service person ). ALong with that there were overlapsing serial no. stickers. This certainly proves that when the monitor was purchased new it was already installed with a non - new part(TFT screen). This has already put a bad impression on the company.

            HP After sales . — Horrible after sales service

            I am using HP’s Pavillion 5000 notebook from the past two years. Since the battery was not providing a good backup, I decided to replace the old battery.
            I approached one of HP’s authorized service centres at Ernakulam in Kerala. The name and address of the centre are as follows:

            When I bought the laptop, I asked them to provide the warranty card of the newly replaced battery. Since I am working in Calicut, they told me that it would be couriered to me shortly.
            A week has gone and I have received only the retail invoice of the material purchased from their shop. When contacted, they refused to provide me the warranty card of the battery purchased from their centre. Instead, they used contemptuous words against me and asked me not to disturb them for the warranty card.

            Invoice Date: 25/09/08
            Order date: 20/09/08
            Price mentioned : Rs5982/only

            Customer getting a bad service as well as being abused by the company to whom the customer is giving business is a shame on a company like HP.
            So, I request you to kindly send to me the said papers.
            If the warranty papers of the battery are not sent to me in a week’s time, then I will not hesitate to move to court against HP and its service centre.A wrist watch bought for a mere Rs700 will have its warranty papers along with it .

            HP Compaq — Horrible after sales service.

            My Compaq Presario V3749AU was given to the HP service centre in Pune (Simtech Computronics (P) Ltd. ) on 18/12/2008. The problem being that on switching the power button on, there was no display or any activity from the hard disk. Even after repeatedly contacting the service centre, there has not been any specific answer from their side. And its a month now. And whenever I have called, all I was told is that they had ordered the part and received the wrong part. This has happened twice. On once occasion I was told the part has been dispatched from Delhi and they are waiting to receive it. there is a shortage of spares. On once occasion they said there is a shortage of spares all over the country which was supposed to be solved be last week end (10/01/2009). But yet there was no response till today when I called them again. Even now I hav not been given any specific information as to till when the laptop will be repaired.
            I bought a compaq presario computer from Ankamaly within one year, I got about ten times. Every time they come and repair. Now it is totally dead yet wihin the warranty period. Whenever I contact the customer care people, they do not respond. The addresses given are not working. Now if they do this within the warranty period, what about after the warranty expires?

            I am mostly a happy go lucky honest person and I believe when I ask for help I will get it. Not with HP outsourced customer service. I had my adapter/power chord go out 6 months ago, it was replaced at that time under warranty. I have been told that they should last 2 years. I felt that due to them sending me a faulty adapter/power chord 6 months ago they should replace it for free even though my warranty has run out.

            Seven transfers later, repeating my name, spelling it, SN number, case number address, phone number each time I received no help. I was stonewalled. I asked to speak to a manager and I was transferred. I asked to speak to an American and I was transferred. I know that the people who work for HP customer service do not get paid enough to deal with my anger, but I was not being helped in the least just transferred. Each time I would ask for their name, the spelling, who is their manager that I can actually get help from and they would tell me in broken English they are not allowed to disclose this kind of information. I was on the phone for 1 hour and 15 minutes with no resolve. I surrendered. I knew I was not going to be helped so why waste my emotional energy and time on trying. The outsourcing of America has got to stop. We deserve the kind of customer service where we feel someone truly wants to help us.

            I am buying a MAC next time.

              I had purchased one HP Deskjet 1050 Printer Three in one) from "Futurz", Shop No.2&3, Mohan Tower, Wazirpur, New Delhi-110052 on 24.06.2011 amounting to Rs.4,000/-. The shopkeeper did not give me a demo of the printer at his shop neither he showed me the printer. He neither sent a representative for installing the printer at my home. When I brought the printer to my home and contacted my AMC provider, he informed that he is presently out of town and will come back only on 29.06.2011. I tried to contact HP Customer Care for sending a representative for installing the printer but I could not get through. When my AMC provider visited my home on 30.06.2011 he informed me that the printer is not a fresh one but is a used one. While opening the package he found that even original HP tapes have not been used but duplicate tape has been used to seal the printer package. The printer was found to be full of dust and even the cover of the photocopier was found broken. When we tried to take some print out the paper started getting stuck in the printer. It was noticed that a portion of the printer is also broken and fevicol has been used to rectify the damage by the shopkeeper. When I tried to contact the shopkeeper from where I purchased the printer, he not only misbehaved with me, he declined to replace the printer and also refused to rectify the defects. My bill (Invoice) No. is FU-WR/232/09-10 dated 24.06.2011. The TIN No. of the shop keeper is [protected] and Telephone No. of the shopkeeper is[protected].
              Since HP is one of the best company in the global market, the reputation of the organization is being tampered by such shopkeepers. In view of this it is requested that appropriate steps may be taken not only against the shopkeeper but also to replaced my Printer with a new one. Moving the consumer Court will though be a option left with me but it will only tarnish the excellent image of the HP organization as I feel it is the handiwork of the mischievous shopkeeper and the company.

                i had purchased a hp pavilion dv6000 series laptop in 2009 . warranty over.but now i have a very serious problem with that .the display of my laptop not working a black screen only.all the lights working but screen completely black.when i connect my laptop with some another external display .display is working.when i try to search solution of this problem on net.i found many o[censored]ser of this series affecting with same problem............this is my first experience with hp it is very bad......i really want to say no to hp.......................i want that hp solve my problem at free of cost and ensure me that the problem not repeat in future .....please help me out if i will pay a lot for this problem its very expensive laptop for me........................and no buddy believe on hp services

                if failure of product after 2 year of purchase .so hp company not reliable so think before to purchase.many of customers of hp affected with same problem
                to solve this problem temporarily, when you switch to power on keep pressing F8 then it will work if not try again same method until it works. Sometime need 2 to 5 time . This idea did work on my laptop and you can try ...I am[protected]

                      This complaints is regarding Hp LCD screen HP2010F which had been purchased on the month of april 2011, after a month two black dotts & some line appear on my screen.i had compalint it to the customer care through seller.i also attached the pictures of the lcd screen.then i got a call from customer care they saw those pictures of screen via email.Then they told me that they cannot do anything with this type of problem.They told me this is the problem with the panel & they cannot do anything with that.This is not there problem. i have again complaint it to the customer care i got a case id # CA1093638 has been resolved.But how could it be possible.Please help me & find the solution of this problem...my email id is [protected]@yahoo.com & my mob.# is [protected][punjab].PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION CONTACT ME ON MY EMAIL & PHONE#

                        i bought my hp pavalion dm4 laptop on 22 of february.a/c to hp my gift (wireless mouse,stereo head phone,4gb pen drive) should have been reached to me by 10th of april.but it didnt.i had sent them more than 20 emails regarding this.first they made exuses of non availability of gift items in their inventory.but for last few days they have stopped responding to my mail.so if you please can help me in getting my gift,that would be very kind of you.otherwise i would not suggest anyone in my surroundings to buy any product of HP. the company of HP status does not suit such type of behaviour with their customers. gift id no.

                        i sent a birthday gift to my very close friend on 20th-oct 2008 monday...through EMS speed post...but its not delivered yet...its almost 5 days since i sent that item.
                        this is 1st time i used Your EMS service and this delay made me switch on to other services thogh i wanted to use government services only. i feel very sorry for your service.

                            Sub – Complaint regarding non availability of printer’s spare parts.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I, Manu Arora, a resident of Haridwar want to bring an issue to your notice regarding the inconvenience I had been facing for the last 6 months due to the non-availability of the print heads for a HP printer I possess.
                            Sir, I bought a HP printer (Model:HP Officejet Pro L7380) on 28th july 2007 from Target Marketing, Haridwar in good condition. The printer ran well for a period of 2.5 years but 6 months earlier some problem aroused in its print heads and they got damaged. I made a complaint to the company service centre through Mr. Ajay, Proprietor, Target Marketing but after lot of conversation through mails and telephones, they told us that the print heads are not available anywhere.
                            Sir, I am an interior designer and a building contractor by profession and hence have a lot of printing work in my office. Due to the unavailability of the print heads I am facing a lot of inconvenience and my business is suffering in turn. I request you to kindly see to the issue and help me out as I am helpless after a lot o[censored]seless communication with your service centre and dealer. Please let me know if there is any possibility of any replacement is the print heads will not be available in future also. Waiting for your positive and early response.

                                This is to inform you that i purchased a HP Designjet 5100 Printer on dated 10 Sep 2010 under this the plotter were installed at this date with all the materials by Neer Trade Links ( Supplier of Hp) but suddenly on date 20.5.2011 the head of Plotter not working fine so i went to the service center and contact with the Manager but refuse to change he told me that its out of warranty but as communicated to me the plotter is in complete cover under 1 year warranty and now its give me the rejection sheet the case id is ININDARC[protected].

                                  they also saying about delet of wi-fi software from the software,for this filling they recommend ne to self pay ,

                                  why i will pay for this mischief,it is not my fault it is the fault of service center not my, i have lost of time and cost to request for shotout this proble but they are not considering in this case,

                                  i want to complain against that service center and want that HP take strict action against them and their service center.

                                  and i also want recommendation in this case of you all.

                                  please suggest me what can i do for this mischief ?how can i punish them for this act?

                                      As a part of the procedure i sent following 3 items through speed post:

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        My HP pavilion laptop DV4-1502TU happened to broke down last month while preparing a presentation, following which I submitted my Laptop at the shop from which I bought the system. They sent the laptop to the nearest HP service centre located in Dibrugarh district of Assam for the problem detection. After repeated correspondence, they, after around a week, told me that the motherboard has gone out of order. They told me that they will replace the motherboard and check whether it will function once again as it was before, but, to my surprise, so far one month has passed and three motherboards has been changed and still now the problem has remained the same. After repeated correspondence no proper response has been received from the personnels at the service centre and they are delaying the process to my total agony and frustration. My experience so far with the HP service centre has been of total frustration. They are of no good, if you ask for my opinion. I would suggest the prospective buyers to confirm the service support before buying a laptop from HP. God knows, whether anybody will listen to my woes or not, but anybody who would search or google for any information regarding HP should have a prior information, what they are going to face after they buy HP products. I am not at all satisfied with the service I received from the HP service centre. Concerned authorities should look into the matter so that aggrieved customers like me don't have to suffer in the future.
