MY MAIN DEMAND IS THEY SHOULD REPLACE MY LAPTOP COZ IT IS GIVING ME PROBLEM 20 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE..AND SINCE 5 MTHS ITS BEEN IN SERVICE CENTRE FOR 3 MTHS..nd with me for only 2 mths and dat 2 not in proper working condition.

    I'm now experiencing the similar problem as that of Mr.prabhat. I couldn't even install OS because of auto shut down. Bt engineers in Maha electronics, coimbatore are asking me to replace the motherboard without giving proper reason.
    I don't think they diagnosed the problem. HP shud defntly seriously luk at their service centres. Poor technical expertise.

    Asked to replace Mother Board and more and quoted Rs 15, 883

    HP Service center namely Maha Electronic in Jaya Nagar put its effort to snatch my hard earned money by quoting Rs.15, 883 for my notebook which display was not working. Luckily, I took back my laptop by paying Rs 300 and got it repaired just in 1, 150. Maha Electronic center is nothing but Maha Chore.
    at any case don't goto the maha electronics in pondicherry- real irrirating
    my laptop hp pavillion dv5 1002au is not booting .. when ask hp service centre coimbatore (maha electronics )they ask me to replace the motherboard without even looking at the laptop ...hp should take atleast some care to its customers ...at any case don't goto the maha electronics in coimbatore- real irrirating service personals

        issue reported: 1) Non-working of Graphics-Automatic Switch ON

        2) Blank Background appearing at the time of Changing of Graphics from Intel Graphic mode

        to ATI Graphic Mode and 3) intermittently dull display.

            Hi,

            I purchased an HP laptop (dv 2500 series) in May 2008. In September 2009, the graphics card got spoilt and I had to spend Rs. 6000 getting it fixed. Later, in February 2010, the entire mother board stopped working, and I had to spend another 12000 rupees to replace it. Maha Electronics - the HP authorized service center in Chennai said that the mother board had three months warranty.

            In April 2010, the display again stopped working. When I asked Maha electronics, they said its a problem with the display and will cost 12-15 thousand rupees to fix. I then asked my office engineer to take a look at the problem, and he said its a graphics card issue which should be covered under the mother board warranty.

            Then I called Maha electronics and again explained the problem. This time they promised to get my laptop picked up from my house (which is 40 km away from the service center) . However, no one picked it up. Later I myself visited Maha electronics at Peters road. The engineer looked at the problem and confirmed that it is because of the graphics card and that it will be covered under warranty.
            However, within a day, they call me back and say its a LCD problem because water was present in the screen. 10 minutes later, another engineer from Maha electronics calls me and says the problem is due to the cable connecting the LCD and the laptop!!!!

            How is it possible that the engineers from the authorized service centers have different explanations of the problem every 10 mins??? I feel cheated and mentally harassed because of all this. Now they say I will have to again spend 13-14 thousand rupees to fix my laptop!!!! How can I trust them to give me the right information? I feel they are trying to squeeze as much money from me as possible!

            I paid Rs 40,000 for the laptop. As of March 2010, I have spent Rs. 18000 to get various problems repaired. If I spend another 14,000 to get this new problem fixed, my total expenditure on repairs will be Rs. 32,000 which is 80% of the cost of the laptop!!!

            I feel thoroughly cheated and regret having bought an HP laptop. The HP complaint number[protected] also has no response.

            I request one and all to refrain from buying an HP laptop! They advertise well, and their products look good. But they cheat you and make you spend over and over again on their so called service. There is NO option to buy additional warranty even if you are willing to pay for it. This shows that their strategy is to ensure that the customer keeps paying for spare parts. Never experienced such unprofessional behaviour from a global firm.

            i am also facing a similar problem with my dv 2550ee when i visited Maha in Cochin they just said you need to replace entire motherboard i was not willing to spend that much huge amount, someday later chip level servicing teams from another place approached me telling they could fix it for less than 10000 rs but now i feel that if the ill fated gpu gs 8400 is replaced again or repaired, the same symptoms will start again so the ultimate question is can we replace it with another issue less version of gpu. other wise this 49000 rs cost stuff is waste of money. i hereby pledge that i will never elver buy any product of Nvidia or hp, they doesn't have any corporate value . if any US citizens were raising this issue they will instantly give compensation. it is solely because of being a third world citizen and having the lack of legal protections, here customers are treated as cheap

              HP/Compaq 610 — Replace HP/Compaq 610

              Hi,

              I found HP Service is very POOR!

              I am located in Ahmedabad-Gujarat using the New HP/Compaq 610.

              Can anyone please help with an e-mail address to write to HP about it's services by the Service Station people?

                  We have a HP1022 laser Printer. It is not printing Continuously on one system that having Windows XP OS and Pentium4 2.60Ghz 1GB RAM and using USB1.2 extension card to the printer. A month ago, it worked very well and gave good number of prints. But now it is not giving.
                  But at the same time, printing any number prints to another system, with Windows XP OS and Pentium4 1.60Ghz 256MB RAM and using USB1.2 extension card to the printer.
                  whenever tried to print, using MSword or MSExcel but failed to print continuously. after printing 1 or 2 pages an error is occurring showing a balloon on the screen. And a small message prints on the media. The words are not remember. And, the printer window shows huge files in the a lot of size more than actual size of the file. For Ex: 40Kb word file is shown as 135KB, 86kb excel file is shown as 2.5MB
                  However, it is very troublesome to print more than 2 pages. If every time, switching off and on the printer enables to print another 3rd page.
                  How to get rid of the problem?

                    This is regarding the pathetic after sale services for the following Pavilion Notebook

                    Service center RT Outsourcing, Sec 14, Gurgaon, Haryana

                    Further, I purchased HP care pack part no U4817E with serial no G05UIN648B05 for extension of my warranty to 3 yr from Axis Computech and peripherals, G-28, Second Flr, Lajpat Nagar II, New Delhi - 110024 with invoice no 2008-09/04/15 for Rs 6,000/-

                    After a year o[censored]se, my laptop was not detecting the DVD Drive, so I submitted the laptop to HP authorized service center, RT Outsourcing, Sec 14, Gurgaon for repairing. They replaced the DVD drive and return my laptop after 3-4 days. Also they replaced my Bluetooth module as it was also not functioning and did some tweak around as my USB port was not properly working. After 2-3 days, again my laptop was not showing the DVD drive. I visited the same service center and I was in anger that time as just 2 days back I received the laptop after repairing for the same problem. Center in charge Mr Ajay Pandita, got my laptop checked on priority and on founding that problem is there, replaced my DVD drive immediately. On asking about the problem he assured me that this problem will not come in future as this time they have replaced a different brand DVD Drive (some Matisha Brand). After 2-3 months, same problem occurred and I visited the same service center regarding this. Also by that time, laptop screen had started developing bright dots on screen so I asked center in charge Mr Ajay Pandita to replace the screen. First he tried to convenience me that these are minor dots and can come after a year o[censored]se and assured me that he will replace the screen if these dots increase in size after few months o[censored]se. For DVD drive, they told me to submit the laptop for thorough checking and it might take 1 week or so as they don't have parts ready in stock if some parts come out faulty on checking. He also indicated that they might need to reinstall OS after formatting my system and advised to take the backup of data. As there was lots of data on system that time and I was using it for some urgent work, I decided to visit later. After few months o[censored]se, I decided to submit my laptop to RT outsourcing for repairing as it developed few other problems also by that time.

                    Finally I submitted my laptop on 22 Aug 2009 for repairing with the following defects for repairing and from there started my painful numerous visits/calls to HP

                    Date Ticket no Problems
                    22 Aug [protected] 1. Cracking noise from speakers
                    [protected] 2. Few more bright dots on TFT/Screen
                    3. DVD Drive was not working from last few months
                    4. Hanging during operation

                    As the part of process, they informed me after 2-3 days thru call that parts needed have been ordered and they will update me about the status on next call.

                    After few days, they confirmed that they have replaced my speakers and drive and another part ie TFT panel is yet to arrive and they will inform me on call. After waiting for few days, calling many times on service center, they asked me to collect the laptop and use it as they are also not sure how much time this will take. For system hanging problem, they restored my system to factory defaults. I collected the laptop and started using it. After a week I got a call from center to submit the laptop for TFT panel replacement. I submitted the laptop and when I went to collect it after 2-3 days, I found they replaced it with a panel with no mic and web cam. After lots of argument they finally admitted that my original TFT had inbuilt mic and webcam. Center in charge Ajay Pandita advised me to submit the laptop and assured me that he will get it delivered on my address after proper replacement. From this point, I visited service center around 12-13 times for following this. They replaced my TFT 5-6 times, every time with wrong ones .. one time they replaced with some Non-Brighta view screen, one time with scratched one, one time with screen with patches, one time with some used TFT. During this period of 45 days, I used my laptop for 7-8 days and again got replaced my DVD drive for the same not detection problem. Finally they gave me a replacement screen which is not at par with the original one but better than the previous ones. I was so frustrated with this back and forth that I decided to go with the one which was available that time. Finally before delivery they decided to kept my system for thorough checking for 2-3 days.

                    After 1-2 days they called me for recovery disks as during the restoring process, my laptop got stuck and they needed recovery disk to reinstall OS. I gave recovery disk available with me. After 2 days, I got call from service center saying that those recovery disks are corrupt. They forced me to either purchase a new OS for Rs 4,000/- or take away the laptop is that condition and write to help desk for new set of recovery disk. Again on arguing on this several days, they finally agreed to arrange a recovery disk for me. They took their time and called me after few days that they have arranged a new disk and I can come to collect my laptop tomorrow. Next day when I reached there to collect laptop , a surprised came across me. The new set of recovery disk is giving blue screen dumps on installation. So they apologized me for this and promised to give me a standby system to work on till the time my laptop comes in working condition. As promised, they gave me standby laptop. After number of follows up visits/call, they informed me that my laptop’s mother board is faulty and need to be replaced. They ordered the motherboard and asked me to wait for another few days. After a week, they called me that my laptop is working fine and its under testing. I went to collect my laptop after 3-4 days and found few window’s applications was not working. They admitted it and asked me to come back after their call. They called me after few days to come and collect the laptop. During this period, I called Mr Raina, one level up escalation point for this and he assured that my laptop will be delivered soon and he will look after my case personally.

                    Finally I got my back on 20th Dec 2009 ie after 4 months from date of first delivery for service and after expiration on extended warranty.

                    After a week, I again visited the same service center to get my DVD replaced as the DVD drive’s cover was not closing properly so they replaced it with another one immediately. I thought my painful days were over but this was not the case. Again in January 2010, I visited the same service center for same old DVD drive problem and multiple while patches on TFT screen. Just in months time, lots of white patches appeared on TFT screen. Center in-charge Mr Ajay Pandita, initially refused to listen to me on the plea that my laptop is out of warranty but finally after lots of arguments and seeing the genuineness of case, replaced my DVD drive immediately and assured me that he will take my TFT case forward for approval and till the time I can keep using it.

                    Again in Feb 2010, suddenly display of my laptop turned blank while working. I took my laptop to nearest service center and found that display (NVIDIA) on motherboard gone faulty causing display failure. Computer vendor informed me that HP has recalled lots of laptops globally with NVIDIA chips for the same failure. I researched on internet and found that HP has in fact recalled lots of products with NVIDIA chips and motherboards from vendors in India also. So I decided to contact same service center for this. By the time, center in-charge Mr Ajay Pandita was shifted to some another location of RT Outsourcing. I contacted new center in-charge Mr V Sundar regarding this problem. He simply refused to listen to me by saying that my laptop is out of warranty and he cannot do anything. I tried a lot to convince him that same center has replaced my mother board 2 months back and chances are that they might have replaced it with the defective one. He checked his system and refused that there is no entry in the system for this replacement. He checked my laptop for service tags and confirmed that in none of the tickets mentioned on laptop’s back, system board replacement is covered. Also he said that there is no connection of OS installation failure with motherboard. I was shocked to listen to this. I called Mr Satya, the service engineer who was handling my case to verify about my mother board replacement. He started talking here and there about mother board but didn’t accept the replacement. Left with no choice, I called Mr Ajay Pandita from there and tried to make him recall about the replacement. After trying for around 1 hour with number of calls to Mr Ajay, Mr Neeraj & discussion with Satya, Mr V Sundar agreed that there is a ticket under which my laptop mother board was replaced and neither this id was mentioned on laptop’s back nor linked to other parts replacements. He took my laptop and assured to take this forward for approval. Finally I got a call from center after 3 days, confirming mother board replacement acceptance and asked me to collect the laptop after 2 days. As asked, I went to service center to collect the laptop and found laptop working and in good condition. I asked Mr Sundar about the status of TFT patches case (for white patches). He said there is no such log in system and these white patches are not covered under warranty and are customer induced damages. Again, I explained him that these dots are present since installation of this TFT and Mr Ajay assured me that he is taking this case forward for approval. On this, Mr V Sundar assured me that he will discuss case in some meeting and update me on this. I collected my laptop on 25th Feb from center with TFT issue pending. Again I visited center after few days and Mr V Sundar confirmed that as this case has been rejected and TFT cannot be replaced.

                    I was so much frustrated with these visits/calls that I no more wanted to follow on this TFT issue and started using it as such, as my personal work affected a lots on account non functioning of laptop during the last 5 months.

                    But again on 28nd March 2010, while working, when I was required to copy some files from CD, I noticed that my laptop was not detecting my DVD drive. I tried a lot myself to fix this issue like restoring my system to old configuration but all in vain. Infact BIOS is also not detecting DVD drive. The same DVD drive detection problem is back. This time I lost patience but do not want to visit same service centers.

                    In a nut shell, during the warranty period I got my DVD drive replaced around 10 times for the same problem of non detection of drive even in BIOS, so it seems like
                    1. There is some serious issue with the laptop since purchase and HP is not addressing it
                    2. No quality control as to replacement of products (replacing old, defective parts – case of defective TFTs, faulty mother board with major product recall which even a small town vendor is aware of)
                    3. Incompatible staff/not aware of various product models (case of replacement of TFT without web cam/Mic, not able to differentiate between brigthaview, non brightaview screens)
                    4. Lack of audit trails/quality control checks at service center (replacement of mother board – major component of laptop without service tags/links to machine)
                    5. Procrastinating attitude of staff/center in charges – (case of deferment of replacement of defective product till last of warranty like in case replacement of TFT)
                    6. Not well equipped - Service center are not equipped with proper set of basic resources like take case of arranging OEM OS.. they took 1 month just to arrange a media for OEM OS.

                    Apart from bunking my office number of times just to visit service center as timings of service center and my office working hours (9:00 am to 5:30 pm) are same , spent thousands of rupees on cyber cafés just to complete my personal work, lost lots of data during transferring of files from this machine to that machine, required to purchased portable HDD of Rs 4,700/- to keep data safe, and as I’m Chartered Accountant by profession and is using laptop for personal part time practice work, lost around Rs 50,000/- of professional fees which I would have earned during my peak season of earning ie from Sep to Nov.

                    After numerous of visits/calls to service center in last 6 months, my laptop is still in the same state
                    1) Not able to detect the DVD Drive
                    2) White patches on TFT panel (Worst than my original one.. I’m regretting for asking service center to change it)

                    HP — new laptop only 4 months old with defected webcam

                    the new HP pavillion laptop purchased on 28/02/2010 delivered int he 1st wk of march puchased from Cyborg Nepansea Road for the purpose of my MBA .The webcam was never used until and unless when I was carrying out the downloading for the VCF lectures on 17th July learnt that it had a defected webcam hence took it immediatly to Cyborg World and the person Mr Sanjay then took it to the service centre and promised me that it would be delivered on wednesday only when I called him on wednesday he informed me that the LCD needed to be changed and I would definitely get it on Saturday but he did not call instead I had a call from Sneha the HP person from the service centre telling me that the part was not available when I asked her that they should give me a new piece altogether as the webcam was never used when she informed me that if anything would happen in 15 / 20 days they would replace the piece for now only the LCD would be changed and promised me that it would reach me the following wednesday only after I called Cyborg did Sanjay inform me that the part order was place and I will get the laptop only on SATURDAY .

                    I am very upset with HP as they should give me a new piece altogether and not replace the part only how do we know that the webcam has crashed without using it before selling a particular piecce they should check all parts and when the laptop is under warranty any hardware that crashes on its own is not a customer fault the whole piece to be exchanged with a fresh piece the way it happens abroad. It is very disappointing really.

                    Hope HP looks into this matter on an urgent basis as their agents sell the product and if any thing happens they dont give an update to the customer infact we have to call and ask for an update very poor service I must say .
                    lets see what HP will do with this one ????????????/

                      My name is Twinkle and i got an HP laptop from Voice Commune run by Mr.Biplap Chanda in Dimapur, Nagaland.I purchased the laptop on 16th june 2009 and the very next day came to know that the left button on the touch pad isnt working.i called up Mr.Biplap and he send an engineer of his to my place to rectify the problem.He said it needs to be sent to the hp service centre in guwahati.He returns me back my laptop in December 2009 after much telephonic fights and arguements.Mean while he gives me a Lenovo laptop which was no good either as it got crashed every now and then.Even after he returned my Laptop in December its screen started flickering and now the entire display is off. When i called him up for further enquiry he behaved in a very shrewd manner and used words that one should never use to a customer. Moreover he demands that the warranty period of the laptop is over and further charges will be extracted for the service.

                      I dont think such a consigner is good for business and i have hardly used the laptop after purchase. This is a serious request towards the hp management to look into.Please do the needful ASAP.

                        This complaint is with regards to my faulty Compaq Laptop (CQ40) and the pathetic service I have received from HP Call/Service centre.
                        I bought a Compaq Presario Laptop from EZONE, Mumbai on 18th March Model No.********40T8.
                        My Laptop has a display problem, as some lines have appeared on the display monitor on the lower bottom of the screen. I have been facing this issue since January 10.
                        I contacted the customer service centre over the phone vide mobile phone in the month of January 10 explaining two problems & also gave him my model number of the Laptop.
                        1. The Display Issue
                        2. Windows stops functioning whenever I try to run a movie
                        Kindly note that I didn’t receive any customer complaint number at this call, also I was unaware that a complaint number was to be issued.
                        The HP agent suggested that for the second problem that I reload the windows from my recovery disc and for the first problem visit a service centre.
                        He gave me addresses of 4 centres.
                        1. Jaynagar 3rd Block
                        2. Koramangala- behind HDFC bank
                        3. Indiranagar above More Super Market
                        4. Maha Electronics - Indiranagar
                        As I had just shifted to Bangalore at that point and I found it extremely difficult to locate the HP Service centres.
                        I visited the Jaynagar Branch, where the waiting time was very long, so I had to leave before my turn came.
                        I visited the Koramangala Centre, where they said that they do not repair Compaq Presario laptops but only normal HP laptops.
                        Finally I managed to locate a Indiranagar Branch above More super-market, where they informed me that my warranty period had expired, I requested them to consider my case explaining the difficulties I went through locating centres. They asked me to visit MAHA electronics.

                        At MAHA Electronics despite explaining the situation they refused to consider my case as the warranty had expired & connected me to a lady called Swati of some Technical Support. She obviously refused to help & consider my case.
                        Here to my utter surprise I came to know that none of my complaints were logged & that even my call of today afternoon at around 3.00pm was also not logged in your records. What was even more surprising was, even my visit to the HP Sakinaka Service Centre in Mumbai regarding a Windows Software Problem which I faced two months after I purchased the Laptop is also not in the records.
                        Since the agent didn’t give a complaint number for my call in January so conveniently the Technical support said that I didn’t call & even if I did then I didn’t give my Laptop details.

                        My experiences with HP Compaq product & its services has been despicable and considering the circumstances through which I have been put through I have no intention of repairing this Laptop which is little over a year old. I sincerely expected a lot more of Hp/ Compaq, but I have been sorely disappointed.

                        Compaq — Poor Product and Service

                        I had purchased a Compaq Presario Notebook (CQ40-425TU). Just one month after the purchase, the screen of the laptop started giving problems. As the laptop was within the guarantee period, I took my laptop to an HP Service Center at Kolkata. They said that when they might take around 10 days for repairing my laptop.

                        After 15 days when I gave them a call, they said that the company had not yet confirmed whether or not my laptop was within the guarantee period, so they have not received the spare part yet. They kept saying this for the next 15 days. After 30 days, they finally said that the spare part will be arriving shortly. On the 35th day, they called and asked me to collect my laptop. But when I went there to collect it, they said the laptop is 'almost ready' and would take 10 more minutes. And they finally returned my laptop after I waited there for around 1 hour.

                        I am extremely disappointed by the products and services of HP. I would advise everyone never to buy an HP product.

                        HP — faulty product delivered

                        I purchased HP pavillion dv6 laptop on march5, 2011. the laptop has so many issues. It freezes at every single click, it's processing is so damn slow. when i called customer care, they asked to follow their stupid troubleshooting steps which is so time consuming and refused to send technician for the same. then, the laptop came up with motherboard issue for which the technician came and replaced the motherboard in 20 days of my purchase of the laptop. the technician also mentioned that the operating system and the touchpad drivers are not installed properly in the laptop due to which it freezes and i need to get them reinstalled. he refused to do it himself as he was in hurry and asked to come back and got y previous complaint locked himself without resolving it. when i called customer care again, they said that i need to file a complaint again to get a technician. when i try to delete a folder, it gives an error that the folder cannot be deleted due to I/O device error and hangs my system after which the only option left with me is to hard reset the unit. i am so fed up o[censored]sing this laptop. i wish i old have purchased a second hand laptop instead of wasting rs40000 in purchasing this one as this laptop is even worst than a second hand laptop. HP sucks! i wish i can get my laptop replaced.

                          First of all, I really don't know for self, whether detailing my problems in this site would help or not, if it does, its worth mentioning all the more.

                          I had purchased a HP laptop from Juhu Croma last year along with 2 years extended warranty. In the month of January, thats post the first yr manufacturers warranty period, my Laptop suddenly stopped functioning. I called up the toll free for the first torture.. who gave me some number and address which does not exist anymore. trying again, a new number and address was confidently given, for a change this was replied but said this is only for TATA docomo services and not laptops.

                          Through my friends I found on my own rather relying on Croma Toll free. I visited the service centre, which is outsourced to some RT Outsourcing ltd. Technical person name Joshua attended me and said he will need to check and need one day to revert. Even after trying my best to convince him to try starting now and check.. he said it will long time I'll check and tell tomorrow. This day was 16th January 2010.

                          I recived a call after a week saying the Laptop seems non repairable at their end and needs to be sent to Level 3 and thats in Bangalore. I really dont know what they did as I had the least of information on my product. Every time I would call up, they would reply saying they are yet to recive any update from Bangalore, they would check and let me know, which never happened till the time I would call.

                          After 3 months of torture, one day I called and there was no reply on joshua's mobile and neither the landline, fearing I took permission from my office and landed in RT outsorcing, it was ridiculous as everyone including Joshua were in the centre and were not replying. Status of the product was still teh same. I too the Bangalore number and called from there itself. They gave a weeka TAT.

                          Later that week I received a call from the service centre saying the Laptop has cm and they asked me to collect. after reaching, it was horrible to know that the Laptop is still in same non starting condition and too add to the frustration they have misplaced my Power Adapter also.

                          That same day I had lodged a feedback/complaing on Croma's website. Everyday I get a call to check whether me complaint is resolved or not... without knowing that they are further harrassing by not giving my Laptop Back.

                          Its 4th month running. I have been transfered to Hyderabad from Mumbai with all my family members in Mumbai. I got my Laptop for chatting and emailing them which is not happening. This is waste of time and mental torture.

                          Never buy any HP product ,worst worst service,If there is any small problem you need pay full amount for that.

                          HP Laptop — worst customer service

                          Hi my name is Pushpa Sahani. I bought HP laptop model no. pavilion dv6 now I am getting problem with speakers and it’s been just 1 month i bought this laptop. I tried to watch one movie after downloading but during watching the movie voice started breaking up, i thought there is a problem in movie which i downloaded but it happened with another video and now there is no voice at all but i can hear voice from my headset. I called customer service regarding this complaint but Hp customer service its worst customer service i have ever seen. they asked me so many question to which i gave answers also and at the end they asked me that which media player are u using, I told them that i am using VLC but after hearing this thing they were too rude on the call and informed me that it’s not going to cover under warranty because HP laptop is not supporting VLC. I told them that there is nowhere i can find this information in the manual and CROMA STORE also did not informed me about this thing so now i do not have any options rather than expending some more money so please do needful for me.

                            Hp india is really cheating with its fraud promotion.After sending Rs 9000 and all other documents i did not get any LCD TV for over four months and now they have sent me videocon VHL22SMH model LCD TV with a MRP sticker of Rs 11000 and which was available in srinagar for less than Rs 10000.Imagine this fradulent claim of a gift with an HP laptop when you get something for over Rs[protected]+1200 entry tax )after over four months and so much pleading which is available in the market for less than that.it is really disgusting.

                              I bought a MFP1319F printer in December 2008, and my warranty was to expire on 29th December 2009, so accordingly i had applied for a renewal of warranty vide reference number [protected] on the 24th of December. Four months have passed and nothing has been done about it. I keep on calling the customer care and they keep on telling, "we would contact you." Today on 21st April 2010 i receive a call from one of HP representatives and i am informed that since my printer is out of warranty today so i cannot be granted extended warranty that is supposed to be given to a printer in warranty. This means for the fault of HP i have to suffer. If HP did not extend my warranty i have to bear the loss of that. if this is the way a company like HP treats its customers then i must say its pretty disappointing and right now i feel cheated and would never go for HP which is only looking to sell products and is so poor at customer services. I am sure this is the last time i purchased a HP product and would never suggest anyone to purchase one.

                                I purchased a laptop HP pavilion DV-6 2113AX form baroda, Gujrat, India. From CROMA electronics. Within one month I faced battery charging problem, though my total usage is not even one month as per hours. I showed it in baroda ITEC authorized hp service center but they could not identify the problem, so again 15 days passed. After this I showed it in Ankleshwar Simtech comptutronics pvt ltd. authorized service center. They identified the problem and are saying to replace the mother board and battery; but they are still not sure about persisting problem. Now if they are going to replace the afore mentioned items, about 75% of constituents in the laptop are going to be changed in a short period of time. Hence I request for a replacement of the laptop.

                                As a customer, facing a problem in such a short duration, it doesn't give me confidence on the products of HP. As I preffered to take HP laptop instead of other brands, now I can not recomend my freinds and relatives to rely on HP products if sufficient and satisfactory support is not received from your side.

                                Even i bought the same model from STAPLES, Bangalore. Within 7 days I also faced the problem with battery charging and the total backup is less than 1 hours. But at the time of purchase i was told that it will give 3 hours and 30 minutes of backup.
                                And while charging most of the time it shows plugged in, not charging. I went to the service center and told them the issue. They said it's not an issue but a feature. But I couldn't find this written anywhere. I don't know if this is a feature then why it is not mentioned anywhere.

                                  I faced two problems:
                                  1. While my lap in warrenty period ,i changed 4 batteries bcoz of not charging properly and back up problem
                                  2.now my 4th battery also lately charging and strucking in between while charging , i ask to hp service thy replyed me we r helpless(main thing is my lap is getting charge only in hp service not at any another place even my home ) so if this issue is not get clear definitly i'll go to consumer court ..i

                                    When problem happen in my printer i call customer care ([protected]), they informed me that your pack in not activated please send a mail to [email]peace.of.[protected]@hp.com[/email] alone with details on dated 12.04.2010. i sent at [email]peace.of.[protected]@hp.com[/email]. after two day i didn't get any response form hp. thus i called again then customer care said that please send a reminder for the same and wait for (24 to 48 hrs.), I sent dated 14.04.10.
                                    After two days same i didn't get any response for the hp, I again call at customer care (same no.) the person was said please send your details to mail ID- [email]esc.[protected]@hp.com[/email] and wait for (24 to 48 Hrs), I sent at dated 16.04.10.
                                    After two days on 20.04.10 when call at customer care the person was said me you are going wrong way please send a copy of invoice and offer latter (which was sent by [email]in.[protected]@hporiginalrewards.com[/email]) to email Id- consumersupport.india.com and Fax to [protected].
                                    when i try to send fax on given number it was Fax sending failed.
                                    try to sent mail on consumersupport.india.com mail was failed.
                                    called again after long discussion call transfer to head of the caller
                                    she said my you send you all details to [email]esc.[protected]@hp.com[/email] and consumersupport.india.com.
                                    when i said i have did it. she said that i did not not find any mail from your side. may be you are not able to send or sent mail and fax.
                                    and provide my the service [B]tik no-[protected][/B]

                                    Now what i do.

                                      Hello,

                                      My laptop was in guarantee period and i dont know why should pay for it. When i visited the Service center, they open the laptop and told me that i dont need to pay anything as it was in guarantee period then after few days they came up to me saying that there was some water in it.When they open the laptop in front me there was no water at all. How can i believe them that they were right? they had sent me quote amount is more than the price of new one. . i come to you as they harassed me and they are cheating me. i did not about consumer court site before so i could not come to you. Please help to repair my notebook.

                                        I PURCHASED A LAPTOP COMPAQ PRESARIO Notebook.
                                        DURING Jan 2009 AND I WAS ENTITLED FOR A FREE GIFT OFFER. AS REQD. I SENT A DD FOR RS.1299/-as transportation charge( from delhi ) .WITH ALL THE REQD.DOCUMENTS.there is delay of more than 1year.and .. stillill gift is not received .
