    Printer not switching ON. On contacting to authorized service center INGROW, Wilson Garden, Bangalore. Phone 30283092/93/94. asked to bring the printer to the service center. After taking to the service center, they are telling we don't have service engineer, so, you look for someone elsewhere. Purchased the printer on 19 May 2010. bill no:0905. Sl.no: CN01GB54BQ. Printer is within warranty period. Now I am facing this sort of worst behavior by the HEWLETT PACKARD. Kindly let me know whom to approach to sort out this problem.

      Dear sir,
      I purchased a printer on 19 may 2010 vide invoice no;0905 and Sl.no. CN01GB54BQ. Now it is not getting ON. Inspite of trying to contact every effort is going in vain. Finally I got phone number of INGROW Wilson Garden Bangalore. Asked me to bring the printer to the service center. After taking to service center refused to service and asking me to go to some local repairer. Now my question:
      1. What is the meaning of Warranty,?
      2. If you cannot service why you are selling the product?
      3. How much time will it take to respond to the complaint?
      4. Eqpt is barely used for not even 20 days and it shows how poorer is the quality of your product.
      5. Are you selling your product to test my patience and waste my time and money?

      You please return back my money and also tell me where to return your product.
      Strange! I am getting the reply that complaint is not registered even after contacting your on line service and also to [protected].

        I had purchased HP- Pavilion A6740IN PC desktop on 11/04/09 from Sarin Enterprises, capri trade centre, connaught place Chakrata Road, Dehradun (Uttarakhand) India and has sent a D.D (DD no. 593506 Dt.[protected]in favour of your company of Rs 1499/- and copy of bill &original bar code. Till date i had not received my(received UPS only but Printer i have not received yet) gift. when i am going to get it? what is the current status? I posted my query on redemptuion site but there is no reply.
        It is unfortunate to hear about this kind of irregularity from a world renound company HP

          This is a complaint against Ashtech Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Ahmedabad for
          Model no. VX817EA/ HP mini 210-1000sa
          serial no. CNF003909B
          support india no. [protected]

          This HP netbook was purchased from amazon uk on 6 April 2010. In 10 days it started giving problems and the OS got corrupted. The recovery option did not work. On reaching India recovery dvd's were ordered through customer care India. The netbook was then given to your authorised service centre Ashtech Infotech on 17 May 2010. They kept the netbook for 15 odd days and I received the netbook today on 4 June 2010. For this long delay they gave excuses of RAM part not available for this foreign piece. Then they said supplementary disc is required (which was confirmed on 18 may itself that for this netbook it is not required through customer care india) On not being able to install win 7 starter on this model, I requested them to install win xp on 3 june so atleast the netbook becomes usable. Now on 4 June when I am handed the netbook, it is not longer a fresh piece. there are small scratches all over( as if the netbook was not handled carefully) But mostly the speaker is now totally destroyed. It is giving a distorted noise. Taking back the netbook to ashtech the same day on 4 June, and talking with Mr. Jaimin ( supposedly their main service manager) he says that i have installed some program with a virus and so the speakers are now destroyed. Having an argument with him on this stupid judgement and not having any confidence with Ashtech people I consulted Mr. Jasmin Joshi (Regional Manager Gujarat) I took this netbook to Simtech Computronics Ahmedabad. They revealed through contacting Hp customer care that no part has been replaced on this particular piece. Please have a look on the receipt that i have received from ashtech. ( mischieviously the dates have not been changed and no one signed from Ashtech) Also attached is simtech computronics report.

          I strongly Advise HP India to discontinue its service dealership with Ashtech Infotech and look seriously in this matter.
          Also look into the mischief going on at Ashtech Infotech specially the rude/mischievious guys like Jaimin at Ashtech.

          I would like to know how a reputed PC company like HP deals with such new pieces which have been fiddled with through your own authorised service centres and : your replacement procedure.

          Realising that Ashtech deals with other pc companies as well I am forwarding this mail to others to be wary of Ashtech Infotech.

            2. When I went to have a change in my motherboard they told me that warranty is over & I have to pay the bill for it. After that I used my personal customer care number from my stolen handset ([protected]). Bandits didn’t feel shy. Check hand. Then gave me 50% customer care.
            3. Sunday offline?
            4. No marketing strategy.

              i have purchased a laptop COMPAQ CQ60 104-TU from Next electronics (Vikas puri New Delhi outlet) bearing s/n 2CE8350LZN as on 29th of june 2009 as per as the warranty it is been provided by the manufacturer for one year. on the 27th of may i found that my ac adapter is not working so i contacted the hp customer support on 28th regarding the same problem they said that my laptop is not under warranty as per as their records but they asked me to go to the service center at kirti nagar and show the bill and they will resolve my problem. so i did the same on the same day but when i reached the service centre the lady sitting on the help desk said that they need customer purchase bill(bill provided by me by the dealer) and also the dealers purchase bill(provided by compaq to next) and they said that we are not able to provide you this demand in written. so on the same day i contacted next and they said that they are not able to provide the bill on the same day so i must wait for 2-3 days but i have not recived the same as on 03rd of june 2010 only 26 days of my warranty is been left tell me what to do hp is not doing anything next is only giving me dates.....

              HP Compaq Presario Laptop — HP promotions is a cheating only

              i purchase a laptop in sept 2007. i was sent all required document and DD to the HP redumption cell, Solution Integrated marketing services, DELHI
              I am not getting any gift from hp redemption cell till now is it already two months is gone , i am not leave that solution Integrated marketing services, i have all documets. i will compalint to the consumer forum soon
              I have bought a new compaq pressario laptop.there is an offer for the product i bought, but i do not know how to redeem it, will you please help me to redeem the gift offer.

              I am not agree with this complaints, in past i purchased one laptop and One printer for these as promotional offer i got Wifi Audio device and HP Toner. But only the thing is we have to apply carefully while redumption process, ie. registring the promotional product, Drawing a DD and posting without missing BAR code lable on the carton of the purchased product, original purchase bill with perfect mailling address. But only the problem is the promotional product will reach us after 8 to 10 weeks after registration. Meenwhile we have to communicate by mail.

              HP Compaq Presario Laptop — HP Sell faulty Laptop Compaq Presario

              Respected Sir,
              I have purchase a compaq presario cq45 laptop last year Nov. 2008. After the purchased these faulty laptops I have repeatedly face the problem with this laptop. Too many times I registered online complaint regarding its fault and always they send me the RT Outsourcing (Autorisezed Service Provider of HP). I am working as a IT- Head in Excel Car Pvt. Ltd. And I have ability to find the problem but they unable to understand the exact fault. Each time they received the laptop and format the Harddisk and replace some parts and return back to me after 2 or 3 week. Is it impossible to me each time go to the service center and submitt laptop for repair and receive after 2 or 3 week and test again.
              I requested to you kindly help me regarding this faulty laptop. From last years lot of my time and work is suffered due to the service of this faulty laptop. And the executive who have receive the laptop think about us a first time user and make excuse and blame us for the laptop mis handing. And delivered laptop with another fault place a black scratch in my laptop top pannel.
              Now please let me know that who is able to resolve my issues regarding this faulty laptop. I need to replacement of the laptop with immediately. Details of the laptop given below:

              HP Compaq Presario — laptop not working

              i have a hp compaq v3000 laptop with amd processor.in the first year only it had a motherboard replacement.and only a month after the warranty ended its problem again began with no display.the service center people are again asking for a motherboard replacement and are asking for a huge sum for that..just tell how many times am i going to spend money on it...i have just decided to never buy or let anyone buy a laptop of this brand..the situation is totally disgusting

              Compaq Presario — Laptop not working

              My Laptop model No. Presario V 3000. Serial No - 2CE7174FJF, Product No. - RY301PA#ACJ.
              The same problem has occurred many times and I have got it repaired without paying any charges from the HP service center in Mumbai and Pune. As per the HP service center My laptop has a manufacturing defect. I brought my Laptop 3 yrs back and from then i have been facing this problem on my laptop. Its been a nightmare since I have brought this Laptop and I have faced a lot of problem due to loss of important data.


              Now i have shifted to Kolkata and when I went to HP service center in Kolkata they started asking money for repair..Rs.12,000. I believe HP is a big company and would look into my matter and offer a good solution.


              If possible I am ready to shell out some extra money to get my laptop replaced.

                Hi,

                I had submitted my laptop HP dv2550 em, post consulting with HP support through a chat session with laptop overheating issues. The outcome was that the fan might not be working. Since the laptop was out of warranty (chat session saved on laptop HDD), I went to a HP authorized support center by the name of Elite Business Machine, Sector-64, Noida, UP on 30th May 2010.

                I showed the problem of overheating and then windows getting hung and then shutting down.

                The person on duty told me that they shall take the laptop for servicing and the problem with the fan not wroking shall get resolved. But yesterday 1st June 2010, when I went to collect my laptop, It did not even boot up correctly. On showing the same to a person named Nitin, he told me that I have a motherboard problem related to Nvidia graphics chip.

                On explaining to him that when I submitted the laptop it was booting up perfectly and I could still work for some time on it before it overheated, this guy gave me an explanation that my motherboard was already out of order and the problem might have deteriorated at the time of servicing and they are not going to repair the destruction done by them.

                This does not reflect professional behaviour on the part of the service center involving the name of HP.

                Request you to take this matter with the concerned person at the earliest and get my laptop repaired as this has started to become a scary affair.

                    Compaq Desktop — PROBLEM IN CPU

                    I,mr Asish Roy,had bought a compaq computer on 04/06/2009 and its model number is SG37301L INA9170FX4. But this computer is giving problem within a couple of weeks after it had been bought.                       Hopeless Service, Service centre People are absolutely not interested. Even the region head of Pune is also very rude and in-cooperative. Defective piece sold by HP .. Already went to repair centre more than 4 times. The LCD, motherboard, DVD rom had to be replaced and now they said its the LCD that has an issue and later claim that its a motherboard issue... not sure why wasnt the issue diagnosed in the first place.. were these ppl sleeping ????


                      Despite of continous follow ups, the Vintech Service centre Pune has failed to give me any updates as promised.
                      I am mentally harrassed with the continous calls to follow up with the status and the product itself. This is not the first time such a thing has happened.
                      The System Board had to be replaces within 8 months of buying the laptop. Later I got the LCD replaced due to issues, then the DVD.
                      Now its again the LCD that has completely gone blank... After having kept the laptop with your service centre for 10 days, I get to know that the System Board needs to be replaced again. Not sure how many more things would have to be replaces in the coming days before the warranty expires !!

                      I have many important documents on my laptop and my daily job is getting terribly affected because of this laptop. After the warranty expires, with the kind of service and price tags associated with HP Repairs, im sure no way would I do that. Rather ill dump it into the garbage bin and buy a Dell or something else thats bound to perform better and have better service as well (HP Service centre team in Pune both Vintech & Simtech say that they cant have a pickup for places that are above 18 kms from the radius of service centre. Not sure how you operate in places like Mumbai & Delhi !!). Atleast i wouldnt have to visit the service centre so many times in case of others. This HP one is a completely defective piece worth 70 grands.

                      DONT BUY HP.. THEY ARE CHEATS..... BETTER GO FOR SOME GOOD COMPANY WITH BETTER SERVICE ..........

                        This is a Central Govt. Organization. M/s HP have provided HP Officejet Pro k5400 all over india. But the printer provided to this office has never worked. The serial no. of the product is MY879680C9 and Product No. is C8185A. Every time the complaint was lodged telephonically the customer service asked to do few steps and after that they said that it is the problem of linux and it is not under them. The printer is not even printing the test page. But the reply is same as above after so many reminders. It is strange to see such callous attitude of the company. Instead of visit of an engineer to this office they are lingering the problem and not providing any help or support.

                            I'm using Compaq presario v3000, im facing a problem of overheating whenever i connected to internet. I have taking my laptop to service centre amny times, how they repair i don't know whenever i bought back it use to be ok, but using for some days the same problem use to start again. Thinking that it might have cause due to dust also i have cleaned my laptop but the problem does not resolve, and i cannot carry my cooling pad also everywhere. I don't know what to do......                               With due respect we want to inform you that we have purchased a Printer Model No. HP PHOTOSMART C4788 on dated 15/05/2010 from M/s. IMB Computers, 18, Shiva ji Park, Opp. Partap Bagh, Jalandhar under his Retail Invoice No. 224 Dt. 15/05/2010. We are currently using Mac Operating system on our apple make laptop, after that we have install the Drivers/Software of Printer from the CD as per instruction manual and also changes the necessary settings of printer/laptop accordingly but our printer does not give us the desire output from the first copy of print. The problem is we want to use the same printer through our Wi-Fi Network we have create the network connection settings on our laptop and discover the printer on Wi-Fi Network after completed the settings when we are giving the print command the printer does not start printing on the command. It can start printing after 2 to 3 Hours interval or it will take much more time to start printing.

                              We have contact your HP Customer Care online troubleshooting expert they have try their level best to solve the same problem but they fails then they have registered the same fault complaint under complaint number [protected] dt. 15/05/2010. After that our local service center contact us on dated 17/05/2010 but due to his busy schedule he visit us on dated 18/05/2010 at 04:00 pm. He checked the printer at his level best but could not find the solution for the same and he carry our printer to service center for repair.

                              We are Regular customer of HP. We are already using 4 Hp Laptops, 5 Hp Printers, 3 Hp Desktop Computers in our Export unit in Jalandhar. So that we have very good faith on HP Products but due to the problem we are facing we request you to please replace the same printer or return our Billed Amount for Rs. 7150.00 (Seven Thousand One Hundred and Fifty only.) at the earliest.

                                      HP Pavilion Laptop — Unreasonable Time for Replacement

                                      I took my HP Pavilion Laptop model No. Dv2700 Series, S/N : 2CE80814D5 to the HP Authorised Service Center, Ashtech Infotech Pvt. Ltd (Tel :[protected] at Mahalaxmi, Mumbai on July 2, 2009 for changing my Battery Pack as the same was detected as faulty by the HP Battery Check. The said laptop was under warranty as I had purchased it from Laptop Shop, Koramangala, Bangalore (An authorized HP reseller) on July 5, 2008.

                                      Initially, the Service center refused to lodge my complaint as they claimed the warranty period was expired, however, upon presenting the original invoice, they said that they would sent the matter to HP for warranty verification and if verified that it is under warranty, they would replace the battery. This procedure of "verification" took about a week, which is hard to explain. Nevertheless, HP later reverted back to Ashtech saying the Laptop is under Warranty and the battery needs to be replaced.

                                      However, till date, they have not provided the service center with a replacement battery claiming that they don't have it in stock. Despite several reminders and phone-calls, the battery has not arrived yet. Finally, one Mr. Manish Kishnani of HP (Tel :[protected] said on 21.07.2009 that the Battery has been dispatched from Bangalore and he would provide the replacement battery as soon as it arrives in Bangalore. A week later, I find that they Battery has still not arrived and Mr. Manish and people at HP are unresponsive.

                                      I am a student in Bangalore, and my college has commenced already. I missed a whole precious week of classes because of the assurance given by HP that my battery pack would arrive latest by 23.07.09. In any case, a month's time is too long by any reasonable standards for replacing an ordinarily available part such as a battery pack. This kind of harassment and duress dished out by a Company that calls itself a premium brand is highly reprehensible. I am still awaiting for my laptop battery. I am afraid I'll have to go back to college without a fully functional laptop which will greatly affect my productivity there.

                                      Kindly assist me in this regard, so that I will have my laptop battery ready atleast by the time when I next come down to Mumbai for a short time i.e. between 13th to 16th August 2009.

                                      HP Pavilion Laptop — Incorrect Warranty Period

                                      I bought a laptop from HP showroom, in Forum Mall, Bangalore on 31-Jan-2009, having proper bill and all the details.

                                      I claimed a problem of battery not charging due to motherboard issue (as HP service center told) on 20-Oct-2009, they said my machine is out of warrranty since the machine was manufactured on 15-Oct-2009.

                                      They said they cannot go with the bill, but only with thier details.

                                      Q, if i buy a machine after 1 year of manufature, is it out of warranty on the day i bought itself?

                                      i purchased a laptop from dubai(HP Pavilion dv6). just after using it for 4 days i turned off the laptop and when i tried to restart the same it switched on for 2 secods and then went off. i called hp customer care they stated that this model has not been launched in india and they cannot replace the spare parts , they asked me to contact the parent country.

                                        i, sri surajit dhar, residing at 54 muralidhar pally, sodepur, kolkata-700110, faced problems in my hp printer from dt 8/01/11 & lodged complain to their toll free no. but no response has yet been received from their end. my complain no was 35754. details of my printer which was purchased on 21/01/10 from lalani group( lalani infotech ltd, 1a, khetra das lane/25, ganesh chandra avenue, kol-700 012) are as follows...
