I had submitted my laptop HP dv2550 em, post consulting with HP support through a chat session with laptop overheating issues. The outcome was that the fan might not be working. Since the laptop was out of warranty (chat session saved on laptop HDD), I went to a HP authorized support center by the name of Elite Business Machine, Sector-64, Noida, UP on 30th May 2010.

Since i have bought the desktop of the above mentioned model (from IT JUNCTIONS, BHUBANESWAR) it's always showing hardware problem.While working on the PC it automatically shuts down.It happens once or twice every month.Now a new problem has arised that while i switch on the computer after few minutes it shuts down automatically & gives beep sounds & then it automatically gets on.I am not even getting any service from the dealer...

Hopeless Service, Service centre People are absolutely not interested. Even the region head of Pune is also very rude and in-cooperative. Defective piece sold by HP .. Already went to repair centre more than 4 times. The LCD, motherboard, DVD rom had to be replaced and now they said its the LCD that has an issue and later claim that its a motherboard issue... not sure why wasnt the issue diagnosed in the first place.. were these ppl sleeping...

This is a Central Govt. Organization. M/s HP have provided HP Officejet Pro k5400 all over india. But the printer provided to this office has never worked. I'm now experiencing the similar problem as that of Mr.prabhat. I couldn't even install OS because of auto shut down. Bt engineers in Maha electronics, coimbatore are asking me to replace the motherboard without giving proper reason.
I don't think they diagnosed the problem. HP shud defntly seriously luk at their service centres. Poor technical expertise....
