dear sir

i just want to inform all users and Hp India high authorities that when we want to replace faulty HP toner then replacement department ask for the formalities and when we fulfill all the formalities then they said that the toner is not in their stock and collect after 7 to 10 days. please note what i want to say that replacement department has the setting with some people who replace the refilled toners.They replaced him the sealed toner immediately and when we asked him the sealed toner then they say that it is not the rules of HP india. i have the proof. i know the name of guys in Hp india who is doing these type of business last so many years and i also have the name of bossiness man who is doing this. if Hp india want to talk with me pls mail me.

    I purchased a HP laser jet p1007 from the calicut. it worked ok till the first refill. When it was refilled. The printed matters became fade and after some time there was nothing in the page. So i was fed up with this. So take care before purchasing the same. My mobil [protected]
    Yes I do have the same problem till first refill its okay, but after the 2nd refill when i take out some print outs i saw the letter looks little faded and so on.And after taking out some print outs around 50-60 it is totally faded, I thought i have refilled some days back and I have not even used the printer at all only went to take out fpr my project around 9o printouts and so on.Its not even more than 200 printouts.
    we have purchased hp laserjet p1007 last month, this printer is not working properly, specifically the paper is not pick up frequently but running the printer. please explain me how to find out this problem.

        Dear,
        All

        I am Syed Omer Quadri from Signspace, Hyderabad. Running a small scale business of Printing, on 18 of august 2009 I purchased a HP Designjet 5100
        5 feet Printer from the HP Authorised Agent in Hyderabad for Rs. 5,40,800 only/-
        Initally the Machine worked very fine but last month i faced some problem with the Printer heads, when i called up the agent he given me the service centre address which is located at Paradise, Hyderabad. I went to the Service Centre and given details about the printer heads, one of the H.P Employee named Abhisheik took the heads and Checked in Some Machine & informed that all the three Heads are under warranty and will be replaced with in Max of 4 Days after that the Drama Started when i called up after 4 days first of all no body bother to pickup the phone after repeated calling some one lifted the phone and informed Abhisheik is not available i said ok, no problem i asked can you give me the Status of the three heads as an unauthorised person he informed i don't know anything. After 3 or 4 days I got Abhisheik on line when i asked the status he said sir i have already sended your Printer heads to Delhi for replacement as auditing is going on their is some delay but he assured me i dont have to worry 100% the heads will be replaced although their is a big business loss i said ok i will wait. every time when ever i called up i have received some or other rubbish excuses after more then one month when i called for followup Abhisheik responded me that the heads has been rejected i asked why, he is unable to give me any proper explination then i said as heads are under warranty i don't need any rubbish explination i want the replacement, then he gave me an email id of some Pradeep Yadav (pradeep.[protected]@hp.com) & said he is incarge of Delhi Service Centre, when i asked the contact no of Mr.Yadav he refused to give, when i Mailed to the concerned person on 5th march, no responce. Then again i called up Absheik & informed him i have not received any responce again he gave me another email id & said this is escallation team email id(indiaarc.[protected]@hp.com) i have escalated the same matter again till date no responce.

        I want the help of Media to expose the Poor and unauthorised service by one of largest leading company in the world.

          My computer monitor is not working properly. whenever i make my pc on, it shows green light indicting it is on properly but soon after a few seconds before the login window is opened, it again off.
          I have called the consumer complaint office but they didn't give any satisfactorily answer to me. i have called so many times to them but they provide so seek to what i said. plaese sort out my problem otherwise i will have to move to the consumer court.

            I have brought a Brand New HP F4288, in November 2009, it has been hardly 2 months. It has started damaging my cartridges because of defective printer supplied by HP and thier dealter network. I have showed four damaged catridges to the service center. Even after showing proof, HP and thier service center has is unwilling to accept the proof. Nominated Service center of HP talks very rudely to customer, not willing to test the problem, and gives silly excuses such as direction of the printer not correct, paper you can only use HP. HP service center is also unwilling to show thier test front of customer. HP goes so far that they ask Catridges from Customer to test thier faulty printer. HP goes to that extent that it askes customer to due a Test strategy such keep track no of printouts from last damaged catridge to the new one. More they blame thier catridges are faulty and then ask customer to contact other department. Since the catridges are physical damaged by printer, HP say physical damage catridge are not covered. There is no replacement provided by HP and unwilling to provide warranty though printer is faulty. Customer is made football between Customer Care HP and Service Center. Each one is blaming each other for not taking responsibility. This is worse service I have received from HP. I have already spent Rs850 per black catridges, which is almost 3400Rs same cost at which I bought the printer. This is HP cheat's customers. I Suggest all customer to never buy HP products. There are better companies like Canon or Epson, which are better in service and product quality. I have had fantastics experience with DELL, Once I have explained the problem, they immediately replace the parts if proof shown. HP is has the poorest Service Network and a bad Customer Care center. The Customer Care center just acts as a receiptionist.

                While living in Qatar we bought a new HP printer/scanner/copier. Then we moved to the UK. Surprise. The ink cartridges that are sold in the UK do not work in the printer. The PC simply displays the message “The ink cartridge is not compatible with the printer”.

                Don’t even try and figure out from the owner’s manual why the cartridges suddenly turned “incompatible”. It is not there. After many phone calls and e-mails I found out that HP regionalizes its printers and ink cartridges. You have to buy ink cartridges in the same region as where the printer was purchased. The cartridges are exactly the same. But the serial numbers are different and the little computer chip in the cartridge convinces the PC that the cartridge is not compatible.

                Has any sales person told you that the HP printer that you are about to buy will explode in your face if you dare to take it over the border? Have you seen this message printed on any HP packaging or promotional items. No. Not even in the current TV commercial in the UK where HP brags about how economical its printers are is it mentioned that you can only “print where bought”. Can you imagine this? The camera that you bought to take your Red Sea vacation pictures does not work with batteries or memory cards that you buy in Egypt.

                HP eventually agreed to re-regionalize the printer so that I can use it in the UK. But only if I buy a £15.00 service voucher. That is almost what a new printer costs! I bought a Canon yesterday for £22.00.

                I will obviously never again buy an HP product. Their policies are wicked and their customer service sucks. You cannot post just any complaint on their web site. Oh no. They give you a list of things to complain about.. And if you phone the help line, and manage to get through, you talk to a bloke in Cape Town (no joke) who can hardly speak English.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I have HP Pavallion laptop DV4 1133TX. Laptop was submitted to M/s Simtech Conputronics Pvt. Ltd, Authorized Service centre of HP on 14/11/09 for replacement of Heat Sink part in Laptop. My laptop was under waranty and was to be repaired free of cost. I got my laptop back on 27/11/09. No one could think that Authorized service center may play with your trust. They have taken away my 1 GB RAM Module while handing over the laptop to me. As I am not a computer savy I didn'd came to know about the lost RAM. It was after one week that I came to know from my brother that 1 GB RAM is missing. I rushed to M/s Simtech Conputronics Pvt. Ltd, to check whether 1GB RAM was not working or what. They told that 1 GB RAM module is missing. I had continuous talk with Mr. Jashmin Joshi of HP and Mr. Mohan of M/s Simtech Conputronics Pvt. Ltd. The problem couldnot be resolved by them and they suggested my to buy another 1 GB Module at discounted rate of Rs. 3000 which is additional cost for me. Kindly help me to get my 1 GB RAM module back at the earliest

                    I bought a [HP v3424au] laptop 2 years back at 35,000 rs.just recently laptop display crashed. so I went for a hp care for inspection.they told me that it is motherboard problem ,so I have to pay 10,000 rs for new motherboard[my laptop is out of warrnaty period].

                    => Then I have a detailed conversation with HP customer care [no 30306363]..they told me some shocking facts..

                    1.HP executive told me that there is motherboard quality issue in some batches of HP laptops..they got many motherboard failures reports of the same type.HP ppl admitted that there is serious motherboard quality issue in some of the batches of laptops.
                    2.now they r asking me to pay 10,000 rs more for new motherboard ..that too they will only give 90 days warranty .

                    wow. first provide faulty motherboard than ask me to pay 10,000 more..

                    3.look what bizarre thing..HP has supplied me defective motherboard laptop[ HP also admitting it].
                    and asking me to pay 10,000 for new one[ saying that ur laptop is out of warranty]..

                    => Guyz with HP laptop advised to go for the motherboard inspection as early as possible..and replace them within the warranty period..

                    I have hp/compaq v3000amd proc. laptop but last few days back its powering on but no display
                    please tell me solution of mother board repairing in chip lavel

                    I HAD PURCHASED HP COMPAQ 3424 AU LAPTOP IN 2007, THE SOUL PURPOSE OF BUYING THE COMBINATION FOR AMD AND NVIDIA FOR FOR GOOD GRAPHICS, I HAD EVEN INSTALLED EXTRA RAM FOR THE SAME SO I GET A GOOD PERFORMANCE.

                    THAT WAS THE DAY I CURSE MYSELF FOR AND BELIEVE ME I AM REGRETTING FOR THE DECISION MADE, INITIALLY FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS THE LAPTOP WAS WORKING FINE WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. THAN ONE FINE DAY SUDDENLY THE DISPLAY WAS CONKED OFF, TOOK IT TO SERVICE CENTRE IN PUNE THEY TOLD THE MOTHER BOARD IS CONKED OFF AND THE MOTHER BOARD WAS REPLACED THEN AFTER I AM FACING THIS ISSUES CONTINOUSLY FOR LAST 2 YEARS.

                    THE HP CENTER IN PUNE REPLACED 3 MOTHER BOARDS SINCE THE DAY I PURCHASED, THOUGH IT WAS A 1+1 EXTENDED WARRANTY OFFERED BY HP, BUT I FEEL HP SHOULD HAVE CALLED ALL THESE V3424AU MODELS BACK AS SOON AS THEY KNEW IT WAS A FAULTY LAPTOP INSTEAD OF PLAYING WITH THE CONSUMER MONEY AND KEEPING THEM BLIND.

                    THE HP CENTER SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THIS MODEL WITH SOME GOOD MODEL AS AFTER ALL ANY MIDDLE CLASS PERSON CANT BUY LAPTOPS EVERY YEAR AS LAPTOPS COST ARE MUCH HIGHER THAN NORMAL DESKTOPS.

                    SPOKE TO THE CALL CENTER THEY SAY AS ITS OUT OF WARRANTY, AND THE MOTHER BOARD WAS REPLACED LAST YEAR IN JUNE, SO EVEN ONE YEAR IS NOT OVER BUT WARRANTY IS NO MORE APPLICABLE.



                    I FEEL I AM CHEATED BY HP COMPAQ AS THEY KNEW THIS PIECE IS NOT DESIGNED FOR OUR CLIMATE THEN WHY WAS THIS INTRODUCED AS LAPTOPS ARE MEANT TO BE LAST LONGER.

                    MY SINCERE ADVICE WOULD BE TO PUT SOME EXTRA MONEY AND GO FOR SOME OTHER BRANDS AS HP IS NOT AT ALL RELIABLE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LAPTOP TO WORK FOR SOME LONG TIME LIKE 5 YEARS OR SO THEN SINCERELY DONT GO FOR HP COMPAQ BRANDS. THEY SUCK BIG TIME AND ARE PATHETIC.

                    JUST WONDERING WHY DOES A GIANT COMPANY LIKE HP COMPAQ INTRODUCE SUCH PATHETIC LAPTOPS IN THE MARKET WHICH ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR INDIAN CLIMATE.
                    I Presario v3424au and have the same problem its only 2.5 yrs and my mother board has gone too. I am not ready for a full replacement. My question is will a board level repair will work for this kind of problem. If any one of you have done something in Bangalore Please tell me the name and contact of the shop.                     compaq laptop V3424AU — laptop is not working

                    i bought V3424AU laptop 2.5 yr back costing 33,000 rs. 6 months it work normally as vista is slow but it was still working and after six month it started giving problem. dealer said that this series is failure and ater a year crossed it is out of warranty and then also it is making problem one day its showing no display then again i send it to dealer . they said mother board is not working. i asked them to send this it to company but they said this series is failure but they changed mother board and charged 6000rs.and after that i took connection of broadband and antivirus all that,the very next day again it stop working.
                    please i want company to see over this matter.its very bad that customer suffer for the trust given by company and i am hoping for some positive result.

                      My laptop's dispaly has gone. As per the manual available online, it is an BRIGHT VIEW LED display. I had taken it to the service center in my city. I was told there is a physical damage and crack in the LCD and liquid has spread.My issue is if my laptop has LED display as per HP's online manual, how can my laptop have LCD display.If I am not wrong LED is Light Emitting Diode and doesnot have any liquid.Your specification should be more clear and not creating ambiquity/ misguiding the customer.Also, without dropping and putting pressure on the laptop, how can the liquid spill and LED crack if at all it has happened. I was told by one of HP's customer care executives that this also happens due to temparature change and if that is the reason, should it now be covered under warranty and not considered as a CID because a customer doesnot control the temperature.

                      Had it fallen, there should have been scratches which is not there on the screen and only a black spot is visible even when I turnoff the laptop..I have heard lot of complaints about HP's display going off after it happened with my laptop, else I would have not bought such an expensive laptop and pay for the repair myself after the product being in warranty.WIth such a huge brand name of HP, I never expected this kind of after sales service.

                      I am hoping to get some relief from HP's end and my expectations are not shattered. PFA the snapshots of the laptop screen. I request the HP support team to revert asap to aid me in taking necessary actions quickly.

                        We bought a HP Printer F4288 (All in one) on 25th June 2009 from a reputed dealer in Chennai. We printed around 10 copies. Then the ink exhausted. Similar printer cartridge of Cannon worked for more than a year for hundreds of pages. HP displays that their introductory cartridge will come for only a few copies, when we use the printer. They have not mentioned the minimum number of copies. This results in the loss for the consumer, money and time. Had they informed this before we buy, we would not have bought this useless HP printer cartridge related printer. We are fools to buy this HP printer. This new HP printer, we may have to throw into a dustbin to save our valuable time. If HP knows the rights of consumers' rights let them replace the cartridges which will come for a minimum number of copies. Further paper movement is also jerky. Cartridge manufacturers must be mandated to display on their product the minimum number of assured copies. Buyers, please, beware of these facts.

                          HP pavilion dv 1175 nr, motherboard beeped, keyboard failed, hp notebook is the worse of laptop, l never thought l will be having this much problem with this,the notebook is just 1 yr and 4mnth, but 6 months of disappointment and pain, l spend $1000.00 at bestbuy, for this trash, no money to fix it and to top it firewall blocking kodak printer and itune stop starting, customer service asking for money to fix there fail product and not having a second thought. what a mess. l tell every one l know not to invest their hard earn money into hp.

                            I have purchased a box packed CP1215 HP Color LASER JET printer from ARIHANT INFO-TECH dated 13th of FEB, 2010.

                            After I put it in power at my home in the same day - i found it is a faulty printer and gives me a message - Catridge shipping locks not removed.

                            I call directly HP customer care ( via toll free no.), they bored me for 1 hr. and take my complain against tech fault giving me a case no. ( It is too late - case no. 2869965 Product Sr. No. CNBJ8DX0BV)

                            In the very next of that horrible day... A person from Redington (India) Ltd. (P-89, CIT Road. Entally, Puddapukur, Kolkata - 700014) came to my home and after the check up - he said me to send it again to reseller before he gave me Service call report and asked me to vivist their office of the above said address in order to complete the paper work for official replacement of the product. Why replacement and why not repairing? He said within 14 days no repair of the HP product is done rather it is got replaced.

                            Alas...who knows that it will take me in serious trouble of still not getting my replaced printer.

                            Every weak I go and ask for my replaced printer to my seller ARIHANT INFO-TECH and they told noting they can do as company do not provide the replaced printer .

                            they have already sent that faulty CP1215 as soon as they obtained it from me dated 16th of FEB, 2010. against giving me a replacement CHALLAN.



                            Now my question is what to do?

                            The printer frequently shows paper jam after printing 1 or 2 sheets. Sometimes it prints smoothly. It is under warrenty.
                            I from my dignity ...feel that it is to inform all of the viewers of this topic rather real problem...that today mar. 05, 2010 I have got my printer replaced back from my Retailer...they have told the cause of delay as the company( HP ltd) has short of the stock of this product I purchased HP CP1215 Color Laser jet Printer.
                            now I have no other complain towards both the HP Ltd. and my retailer i.e. I am withdrawing the complaint.

THE PRINTER IS PURCHASED FROM CROMA DISTRIBUTOR OF HP WITH EXTENDED WARRANTY OF ONE YEAR.THE CROMA IS NOT PROVIDING THE SERVICES AS AGRRED IN EXTENDED WARRANTY. FOR THE LAST THREE MONTH THEIR SERVICE CENTER ARE SENDING OUR PRINTER FROM THANE TO VIKHROLI .AND NOTHING IS DONE SO FAR. NO ACTION IS TAKEN BY HP AND DISTRIBUTOR CROMA.WE FACED LOT OF PROBLEM DUE TO NONAVAILABILTY OF PRINTER. THE PRINTER COST IS RS 21395.00. BILL NO[protected] DT 15.06.2008. CROMA MULUND.                                 compaq presario desktop SG-3770 — PRINTER NOT RECEIVED

                                I purchased compaq deskto SG-3770 on 3-apr-2009 from your dealer (San Computech Pvt Ltd).but i have not received all in one printer yet. This printer is free with desktop. I send cheque of 1000rupees which is geeting clear in may month.Once you call me on 16 may and said that you have sending within 1 month.

                                  My point is don't sit and relax, fight for your right and you will get what you deserve.

                                        Hi,

                                        I hava three year old HP nx6100 laptop.

                                        This was given to us in our colleage (around 400+ pieces were given to the students in the same year).

                                        Almost all the friends I am in touch with (above 50+) this laptop is having a same kind of problem. The laptop freezes to work. What you have to do is either press areas near the touch pad or keep a book under it or elevate it with some support from downside to make it work. Also in WinXP the USB drive gives a lot of power surge message.

                                        I have also googled online looking for the solution to this problem and in HP's forum saw many such complaints worldwide for the same make of laptop. All the solutions was the replacement of the faulty motherboard.

                                        What I want to highlight through this forum is that if so many laptop's of the same model are facing the same problem it's definately not a consumer usage issue, whereas its a major manufacturing defect and HP should ideally recall all this models and replace the consumer with a fresh working models without defects.

                                        hp compaq nx6110 laptop — Not working

                                        I had purchased nx6110 hp compaq laptop in 2006. Now it is not working. After swith on within second, screen shows the programm get stopped and by pressing the back side of the bottom i.e. nearby battery region again programm get running. Then after running some time, again screen shows programm get stopped and this is in regular way. Once I visit to service centre bareilly, their they are telling this is software/hardware problem. For that they are charging approx 20, 000=00 thousand only or with some offer approx 10, 000=00 thousand only. This is not looking genuine because now a day within this range a new computer may be purchased. Than suggest me what I can do.

                                        My Laptop is also dead. Faced the same problem. HP should replace it with a new one.
                                        I also faced the same problem. And more over the service center people here in Pune are worst. They dont know how to handle the customer. They only want to make money.

                                        My friend Abhishek was lucky that his laptop faced the problem just before a week prior to end of warrenty and got the mother board replaced but his laptop is now again facing the same problem and he is griblling on HP.

                                        No matter how good u take care of this model, its going to give you the same fault and die. Lucky few whose laptop's still working (touch wood)
                                        I also faced same problem in my laptop. Now my laptop is just in use to keep in mueseum.

                                        Hp should replace this model with new one.

                                        I too have faced the same problem and my laptop is really been put in my showcase.

                                        Even the service center at pune when reported the same problem from many o[censored]s feel that its not a manufacturing issue and its done by us and they blame us.

                                        I can understand their can be one or two instances where due to misuse the laptop has got the problem, but how come all of them have the same problem and show the similar symptoms before going dead.

                                        I strongly believe that HP should replace our laptop and Indian consumer court should take this a serious matter as countable number of customers have suffered from this.

                                        I demand replacement...
                                        One of my friend from MIT faced the same poblem and at last had to dump the laptop...

                                        Its complete waste of the value which he has paid.

                                        This is a cheating for the consumer and HP should pay the penalty for the same.

                                        If they are having a major problem with the product, they should do a recall like nokia did for its batteries.

                                        Why the consumer should pay the price for HP's mistakes...??

                                        HP Compaq nx6110 — Laptop Freezing

                                        I completely agree with this comment, HP has taken the consumers for a ride with model "NX 6110", after approx two years of purchase, I have got the same problem of Laptop freezing and only on keeping some weight next to the touch pad, i am able to restart the computer on a trial and error basis. This is a designing mistake which was overlooked on the part of HP.

                                        In case if HP is listening, please advice on what to do to all your loyal customers.

                                        When I send the laptop for service, I was advised to replace the mother board, but on seeing so many people having repeat problems even after replaing the mother board, I think this is more of a design problem on the part of HP.
