I purchased HTC Desire V mobile from M/s Harbans Singh and Sons thru Invoice No. 35245, dated 10 Sep 2013 (Bill attached).
This set was giving some screen display fluctuation problem from almost day one, but after middle of March 2013, its screen got shrinked.
I contacted to HTC Service Center, i.e.: Shivam Communication for the same and I was informed that this has to be sent to HTC main service center at Gurgaon, India. I submitted my mobile to service center on 05 April 2013 (Service Report attached).
My colleague Mr. Rajnish Sharma (who have same type and model mobile phone) that he faced same type problem (display malfunctioning) with his mobile and HTC replaced his set with new one (IME No [protected]).
After many follow-up over mail, I got a call on 11 April, from service center that HTC denied to repair the set under warranty. I need my mobile back urgently, so I have no choice to get it repair from my pocket, so I given clearance to HTC service center (M/s Shivam Communication, Sec 11 Panchkula, Haryana) to repair the same.
Now on 25 April, when I got my mobile back, I paid 3990 INR for repairing but I noticed that my mobile was not getting ON, I dropped again my mobile to service center (on 25 April only). On 26 April 2013 morning, I came to know from service center my mobile’s battery is faulty and he is trying to get it replace from HTC (FOC basis).
On 26 April evening I came to know from service center that HTC denied to service center to replace the battery under warranty.
I talked to customer care for same on 26 April, but he give me again 48 working hours time. After 96 Hrs on 30 April 2013, that soon I will get battery from HTC under warranty. I talked to service center and communicate him that HTC given clearance for battery replacement, but he said that HTC is still denying him to replace battery.
When I got no development on mobile repair/ battery replacement till 08 May, I talked to Customer care (Mr. Momil) and get conference with Service center Ms/ Shivam Communication (Panchkula) and HTC Service Staff Mr. Vipul and came to know that on 27 April 2013, Battery replacement on FOC basis approved by Mr. Arun (HTC), but it couldn’t dispatched due some problem in their “Flexy In Server”. after a long discussion it is concluded that Battery will be dispatched directly on service center’s address (Shivam Communication, Panchkula).
I wrote many mail communication to HTC regard ing this matter, but no action linked / initiated against mail. Every time I got a written reply “Thank you for replying back to us. We regret this inconvenience. We request you to co-operate with us as we have forwarded the details to the concern team(or similar to this).” and every time I have to call your HTC Customer care and service center frequently.
Yesterday I got call from service center that they received battery from HTC, but after putting battery, mobile is giving again problem, as its screen display was flickering, which I was facing from day one, but HTC said at that time that "Your mobile is physically damage, so your display replacement will not be covered under warranty. Now it is cleared that this mobile set problem only, as one of another frien Mr. Hemant Sharma;s mobile is also under repair for this problem from last three week. Service center says that again they will send mobile to HTC Gurgaon for repair.
Today status : Service center is unable to send my mobile to HTC Gurgaon, as again there is some problem in their "Flexy in server". 45 Days passed.
Please help me, as due to this problem I feel that I was cheated by HTC and suffering mental harassment also.
I need following from HTC:-
1 A new handset of same model (not repaired one) with full warranty period.
2. Return of repair cost, which I paid for handset repair.
3. Compensation for mental harassment.

Htc — NO PROPER SERVICE
I had purchased HTC P3300 mobile phone in Bangalore on 01st Oct 2007. However, this year, I have had series of issues with the mobile. The last one was major, where I wasn’t able to switch on my cell phone. It had happened after I had put my phone to charge.I hail from Bangalore, Karnataka. On 23rd Sep 2008, I had handed over my HTC phone to the HTC service center. The person attending me is Jayesh (Sorry I don’t have his full name). It was told to me that they will get back to me on what was wrong with my cell phone. I received no call from Jayesh with regards to my problem in my cell phone. Instead I had to make a call to him and end my query. It was said my phone’s main board had a problem and had to be replace. However, this is where the problem started. I have made continues calls to HTC service center (I don’t even remember the count) to know when would I have my phone back, everything I get a excuse and a delay. The promises / commitment made by the person have not come true. Last I can say, I am fed up with HTC (which once upon a time I used to admire). I would never ever recommend any of my family, friends, colleagues or strangers to go with HTC, not because it not good. But there is no proper service given. I have been an HTC customer since DOPOD days.
I sincerely apologies if my mails comes cross as hard but I hope you now know what I am feeling. My phone number is switched off for 2 weeks now. I hate to attend my calls of (on) my land line. All, I request now is please get my phone repaired and back to me at the earliest.
