Hi All ,
I brought HTC Desive v mobile on 26-Sep-2012 at 21,300 and from the day 1 i am facing Signal issue after so many follow ups they have formatted my device and said to replaced the board, but still now they did't replaced the board.
And also who will responsible for depreciation on cost, who will be responsible for 40% amount.

    I had purchased one HTC mobile (HTC Desire C) on September 2012. After 5 months headset had some problem and I handover the same to HTC Cochin service center for replacement.
    They transferred the headset to Bangalore office for replacement and said the new headset will come through courier to my address.
    But I haven't receive the headset till today(March 28).I called up HTC technical support center ([protected])
    and they said my headset was already transferred and was received by someone.
    I was able to prove that they transferred it to wrong address.
    Instead of Cochin they transferred it to Hyderabad.
    And now when I contact them the response I am receiving it 'You will receive the head set soon'.

    This is being going on for a while now. I would request you to please look into this issue and help me in finding a resolution for this.

      i have bought a phone htc desire 8s from dehli @ Rs 19000 on 5th of january.
      From very next week it giving so much trouble.I complaint so many times to customer care centre regarding hanging and other problems.I have shown it to their customer care centre,chandigarh.
      But they did't give me proper solution.I want to exchange my phone.please help me.I shall be thankful to you

        the company is not attending my cmplaint of my phone as i still have the warranty of 8 months ... from last two months it is happening and service center are also not answering on it and not attending properly and missbehaving..

          My htc explorer was having problem of WiFi and some more inbuilt software, as my mobile was in a warranty I handed my set to wintech service (belgaum) which deals for mobile repairs . They tried to make me crazy my saying it mobile work is in a progress. After ten days I come to know that my mobile has not repaired. This happens with every customer . I have regret a lot without my phone for 10 days and even now. Please take a necessary action against them.

            I HAVE PURCHASE NEW HTC WINDOWS 8S MOBILE PHONE WORTH RUPEES 20000/- ON 05/01/2013 FROM TOP TEN GALLERY LOCATED AT VIRAR WEST. I HAVE BEEN FACING THE DOWNLODING PROBLEM FROM THE START & ALSO THE PHONE IS HANGING EVERY TIME. THE DEALER FROM VIRAR TOLD ME THAT HE HAS TO FORMAT THE MOBILE SO IT WILL FUNCTION PROPERLY. SO I HAVE DONE ACCORDINGLY BUT I GOT THE SAME PROBLEM SEVERAL TIME & THE MOBILE HAS BEEB FORMAT THRICE.                     I purchased a HTC desire x on 1st jan 2013 in sangeetha jayanagar 9th block.the phone was faulty which they knew while selling it to me but still sold it to me.with the wrong bill.they have billed 8 gb memory card where as they have given me 4 gb memory card .when i asked them they stared with all sorts of stories and all.so i just left .after using it for 2 days i came to know about the problem and went back & they refused to change the phone.so i had to get a certificate which took me 2 more days.and somehow they exchanged the phone.then they refused to give me the bill for the new phone.i had to go to there store for about 7 times to get the bill with the same memory card mistake again.according to me they are suppose to give me 8gb card where in they are cheating the customers with the 4 gb card. the people who work there are very RUDE to the customers.
                    please help me with this problem.

                      I purchased a htc sensation device on 23 march,2012 . After 1 month it was not working properly. The problem was phone got over heat up and automatically got switched off.
                      So i visited htc service center for repair in April,2012 .But the problem was not resolved.Again i visited service center for same issue in september,2012 and november, 2012.They replaced mother board of device but even then problem still persist.Now finally my device got dead.
                      I again visit the service center and device is with service center . But this time i dont want any repair .I ask htc to replace my handset or return money.But they are not ready.
                      My device is in warranty period.Out of 8 months my device was in service center for almost 4 months.

                      I already given 3 chances for repair but this time i want replacement or money back considering the service provided by htc service center.Please consider the above seriously.

                        Hi ,I own HTC sensation XE bought it 6 months back ,one surprising morning after charging over night it refused to start up.I visited the Pune PC support service centre .I had submitted the phone in a good physical condition ,Now the mobile handsets are not being repaired in Pune .They are sent to Mumbai service centre .After almost a week I called up the HTC service centre in Pune and to my surprise they said I had to shell out 13k for the repairs for a 6months old phone .It seems HTC is cheating on the customer while refusing to service the IN warranty phones .
                        I was being told by service centre for some of the physical damage to the circuits in the phone .I had submitted the phone in good physical conditions and it was scratch less.Basically the complaint was with Software and since they were not able to solve it they blame it to faulty hardware . It seems HTC is doing fraud with INDIA customers ,since their service centre are not even managed by them selves but some third party Technicians .
                        Its really pathetic with HTC ,since such an expensive phone almots 30k and poor service quality at least they should have set up their own service centres in INDIA .
                        I would recommend every one not to buy HTC phones in INDIA since it would be waste of money when you have to get it service ,in return the HTC call centre asks to pay the reparing charges to get the phone in working again .

                          As i have given my hTC mobile(Purchased on 11 oct'2011 with 1 year
                          warranty) to service center, Redington India Ltd, Gurgaon on 01
                          Oct'2012 under warranty Ticket no. 12INA[protected]. The problem was
                          regarding touch panel not working initially when unlock the mobile.
                          Till one month i did not get positive response from service center,
                          gurgaon.

                          In month of November'2012 after talking to you , hTC service center,
                          gurgaon demand for the repairing charges.

                          After giving complaint through customer care (Ticket no.
                          12INA[protected], 12INA[protected] and hTC mobile online feedback) I was
                          told to resolve the issue with service center, gurgaon with the excuse
                          of physical damage.

                          In December, when i went to Gurgaon service center , they told me that my
                          mobile is not considered under warranty and now it will be repaired
                          with repairing charges. They do not have any explaination for not
                          considering warranty.

                          Already three months gone. Kindly resolve the issue.

                            I had purchased HTC One V (IMEI [protected]) on 29th April 2012. The handset is having problems since last two months and I have taken several rounds to your Service Centre at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I am told that some components & motherboard were replaced and factory-reset was done. But the problem is not yet resolved and the Network goes off at frequent intervals.

                            I handed over the Handset to the Vashi Service Centre once again on 23/11/2012 (Ticket No.12INA[protected] and Job No.BOM[protected].

                            The handset is still having problem of Network failure and Call Drops very frequently.I have handed over the handset to the Service Centre, Vashi on 24/12/2012 once again ((Ticket No.12INA[protected] and Job No.BOM[protected].

                            Please ensure that the Handset is repaired and is in good working condition. If the repair is not possible, please arrange to replace the handset or refund the cost of the handset.

                            I have the same problem with my HTC One-V. Given to the service centre at Dadar West 2 times. Second time it got improve a lot but still it drops the network and everytime need to restart it to get the network.. It really frustrating.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              My name is Arpit Mehra using a HTC Desire V with IMEI NO [protected]. I am an ex employee of 3 global services in Mumbai India where I also use to promote HTC mobiles when any new handset was launched. Since then I am very passionate about the handsets made by HTC and use to sell a lot of HTC handsets to customers. So I decided to buy this handset and bought it on 30th January 2013 from mobile store here in Kolkata India.I was so happy with the functions of this handset but got surprised to see that the touch screen of this handset stopped working within 6 months of the purchase date. As it was under warranty, I got it repaired under docket no Q8S[protected] but got the handset back after 1 month. As I am a working personnel and using two mobiles, this handset was only used for internet and the use was very minimal and I used it very delicately and carefully when I was free. I got an extended 1 year warranty from the mobile store when it was bought
                              as I paid some extra money to get the warranty at the time of purchase. I was shocked to see that after the 1st year warranty in the 1st month itself, the handset became dead automatically, I got it repaired once again from the mobile store this time and got the handset back in 30 days again. After this once again the same problem occurred within 15 days and I gave the handset back to the mobile store for repair. I was very irritated with this as I just loved the handset and was sad to see the durability of this mobile. These people gave me the handset after 1 month stating that it had liquid damage. I was shocked to hear this as I know it was not the case as if it had been then they should have told me this at the first time when I gave them the handset for repair. I use this handset very carefully and can guarantee you that I am not at fault because the handset was not used after the first repair from mobile store. Now I feel I am cheated as I think
                              this handset was faulty at the first when I bought it as it went for repair 3 times in 1yr 3 months of very minimal usage. I request you to look into this matter as it seems nobody is even caring to help me out. I am still optimistic that someone is there to give an ear to this problem. Please revert back.

                              I bought HTC Desire816; IMEI NO. [protected] on 7 September 2014. It has not only broken my trust but is now slowly making me frustrated. First of all the mobile started giving problem within 2 months of purchase and now after I have given the same for repairs at above-mentioned service centre on 8th Nov. under Service report No. Q7S[protected], I am not getting any satisfactory response despite number of telephonic follow-ups. It is ridiculous. How and why you expect a customer to keep patience inordinately? Please look into and resolve the problem without any further delay. Thanks.

                              I have purchased HTC desire 816G its IME no. is [protected] purchased on 14/12/2014. I am facing problem with this device because its SIM slot ejecting both the SIM.

                                I am feeling as if htc guys are only good at fooling their customers. They are just making mockery of their brand name in india. Believe me i am feeling as if i did a big mistake by purchasing htc and switching over from my Nokia and samsung phones. This is what all i had to face due to these guys pathetic service and fake promises,here it goes.....
                                Its only 2 months that i have bought a htc phone and all of sudden its display stopped working its was all blank.Hence, on 12-Nov-12 i got it submitted to thane HTC service centre at eternity mall, wherein i was assured that i will get my handset in 7-8 working days. After a week when i called service centre guy, he said the cell phone is still at head office and he should have it back in 2-3days. Again i called back after 2days, then he said cell phone is back but without repair as its liquid damage and not covered in warranty. I told him that there was no liquid damage at all, he requested me to call the htc call centre, which i did. I raised it with call centre informing that there was no liquid damage and wont pay a single penny as it not at all my fault coz i dont remember a single drop of water getting into the cell phone. they assured me that it will be escalated and someone will contact me back in 48hrs from escalations team. Ajay called me from escalation team and after long conversation he understood what i was trying to say, hence he accepted it and got all the charges waived and said the required repair or replacement of display will be done free of cost which was under reference no.c[protected] on 24-nov. He also got in touch with the service centre guy at thane on monday 26-Nov-12 asking him to resend the cel phone for repair as free of cost has been approved. The service centre guy dispatched it for repair confirming that cell phone will be back in 7-8 working days which is turn around time for htc. After this i nicely filled in survey for these guys singing praises for them as i was unaware whats in store for me.
                                After this i chased with service centre on 5-Dec-12 as it was more than 8 days now, the service centre guys told me cell phone is still at repait centre and its not been dispatched by them so contact Call centre. I called up call centre got fake assurance it will be raised and cell phone will be with me in 2-3days, so i called service centre on 7-Dec-12 but again same story cell phone was not yet dispatched by repair centre, he assured me he will chase it.
                                I called call centre on monday 10-Dec-12 as i didnt have my cell phone yet at service centre and logged official complaint(LOGGED UNDER REFERENCE NO.12inc[protected], i was assured someone will contact me in 24-48 hours and no got back. I gave them 2 more days and contacted them back on 13-Dec to know what action was taken on official complaint that was raised on 10-Dec-12, the girl informed me that she will escalate it to her managers to get an update and will surely call me back by 6pm in evening but no one called back (again a fake promise). Finally i called them on 14-Dec spoke with their supervisor irfan to get an update on complaint that was raised on 10-Dec and asked him why so many fake promises were given to me, he assured me that he will look into this and call me back by 1pm in afternoon (LOGGED UNDER REFERENCE NO.12inc[protected] .Again there was no call whole day, i am really amazed at the consistency of pathetic service being provided by htc guys. i HAD AGAIN CALLED HTC TODAY AND ALL I GOT WAS ASSURANCE BUT NO ACTION..... CAN SOMEONE PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL AND FINDOUT WHERE MY CELL PHONE IS????? APART FROM JUST GIVING FAKE ASSURANCES AND MAKING FALSE PROMISES WHICH.. U GUYS CANT KEEP UP..... I WANT THIS ISSUE TO BE RESOLVED ASAP, IT BEEN MORE THAN A MONTH NOW!!!!!

                                  It is a horrible experience placing an order with sulekha.com and request all people reading this message to never place an order with them.

                                  I placed my order no. 254555 for HTC Desire V, the expected time of shipping was mentioned latest by 12.12.12, but when i tried the link sent to me for tracking the order it never showed the status and when i tried calling there helpline nearly more than 10 times lead me to no way as most of the times i was not able to reach that no. and moreover all there executives are always busy from 8 am to 8 pm

                                  When i called up 60004050, they said please call on toll free no., again i explained them i m not able to reach and after calling from other line they trusted me and transferred the call to concerned department, where an executive tells me its not been shipped out yet it will take another couple of days due to SOME SUPPLIER ISSUE,when you guys cannot run an online shopping site due to your suppliers, its an utter shame for an organisation and after shipping out it will take 3-4 days to get delivered, i want to ask is the stock coming from where!!!!

                                  The executive told we aonly tell shipping date not the expected time of delivery.

                                  And there is no response from customer care as well

                                    I have prchased my HTC Desire 'V' two months back and sudenly it stopped to support sim cards and showing Limited seervices or wrong MMI number from last 10 days.After having visiting customer support gurgaon sec-14 the manager replied i have to leave the phone min for 15 days and after that he will be sure that wether the mobile will be ok or not.
                                    He said he will send the defective mobile to HTC Service centre Saket because they can't repair it in their own centre.

                                    He also refused to give me any mobile in replacement of my mobile if i will submit the cell for repairing.Plz help me i will not purchase HTC mobile in future.
                                    I m so fedup from HTC products and services.
                                    HTC products not good and if the services will also be poor people will not buy any products of HTC.


                                    HTC customer care deptt...plz take care and support the customers immediately
                                    Its been 15 days that I bought HTC desire V and facing lot of problems. Initially callibration got died and whenever any app is opened i see red border line on screen. So went to service centre and they said its a software problem and updated software. After a day went, new problems started coming in - Battery was getting over heat just for about 10 minutes of charging and it has become really hard to even hold the cell.

                                    Again visited customer care. This time these guys says "You should have bought the cell within 14 days of buying, then we could have replaced"... This is something no one told me, not even the retailer. And I actually visited the service center on 15th day. Should i say its my bad.

                                    Now the real scene comes - These guys says they will replace motherboard, but not the cell. And they don't provide any warranty on replaced mother board. Moreover they will take 10 to 15 days of time to replace mother board.
                                    Seriously, now I need to use a repaired cell which is not sure when will it go down after buying it with 17K just within 2 weeks of time And i have to be without phone until they repair for another 2 weeks :(

                                    Are you hearing customers complaints? We really need someone to look into this and sort it out asap. Customers are losing hope on your reliability

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      HTC ONE X, with IMEI Code No. [protected] was purchased online from eBay and the vendor was MAYA TECH WORLD, E-21/004 Creek View, YOGI Nagar, Eksar Road, Borivali West, Mumbai-400091 on 20th Sept, 2012 which was delivered to us by courier in approximately 5 days.

                                      Within 1 week of receiving phone, it started to give trouble. Since then, due to the following problems we have given the handset for repair to your service center for the 3rd time, at REDINGTON INDIA LTD, SCO 5, FIRST FLOOR, SECTOR 20 D, CHANDIGARH -160020. In approx 2 months of purchasing the phone, it has been with the service centre for over 1.5 months. As per the service center, the phone has been sent to Gurgaon centre for servicing each time.

                                      Details of the 3 service requests:
                                      • 1st time: Network Service Failure – sim card was being detected but the phone could not connect to a network so no calls were possible.
                                      • 2nd time:
                                      o a. Microphone problem – voice going through the mic was not clear and was of low volume hence difficult to understand on the other side.
                                      o b. Proximity Sensor not working properly – it would keep on going on and off intermittently during calls
                                      • 3rd time: Microphone problem (as described above) was not fixed at all

                                      Chronological order of the events:
                                      • 3rd October, 2012 – Network connection lost
                                      • 4th October, 2012 – Tried restarting and waited for the phone to work. None of the solutions given on reliable websites helped so we decide to take it to the service centre
                                      • 6th October, 2012 – At service centre, we come to know that 3rd October was the last day of 14 day replacement warranty so the phone would need to be submitted for fixing

                                      • 15th/16th October, 2012 – Collected the handset from service centre after 1st service
                                      • 10th November, 2012 – Usage becomes extremely difficult with a bad micro-phone
                                      • 24th November, 2012 – Went to collect the handset from service centre after 2nd service, but realized that the microphone is still not working normally. Deposited it again and even the service centre representative at REDINGTON, Chandigarh, Mr. Amar raised a replacement request for phone on our behalf (eMail sent on 4th December, 2012).

                                      Even a cellphone worth 1000 rupees has a better quality. So after spending 33000/- Rupees on this handset and not being able to use it due to so many problems, we feel cheated. We didn’t even get an opportunity to check it completely and see if all the other functions are working properly or not, because most of the time the cell-phone had been out on a vacation at a service centre.

                                      For your reference, we are quoting hereby the ticket nos. of earlier communications:

                                      6th October, 2012 – 12INA[protected], Job No. IXC[protected]
                                      10th November, 2012 – 12INA[protected], Job No. IXC[protected]
                                      24th November, 2012 – 12INA[protected], Job No. IXC[protected]

                                      At present with the little time that we (a working couple) got to spend with our new phone, the problem of microphone has been persistent. Without a properly working mic the phone is of no use when the other person is not able to listen to the our voice clearly. Hence making the phone useless.

                                      Since all this is too much of a hassle to take for a cellphone after spending so much money, we would request you to replace the handset with a new handset in a working condition or refund. We have the original bill and snapshots of service centre receipts.

                                        My handset details are as below

                                        Few weeks before my mobile used to get hanged frequently and for this I called your call center from where I was directed to format my phone. I did that but still the problem persisted. After that I was advised to visit your customer service center to format my phone again and even after visiting the service center and formatting the phone I was facing the same problem. Then I submitted the phone at your service center for complete check up of the phone. At this moment my phone used work perfectly only exception was it used to get hanged. After 1-4 days I received a call from your service center that there is some problem of mother board and it will cost me 10500/- rupees. I did not wished to repair and I called the phone back.

                                        When I receive the phone I was horrified to note the following problem with the phone
                                        1) The display color was not proper (there was a greenish tinge and I could see some green layers on the screen)
                                        2) The touch screen is not working properly. When I dial any button the screen goes off.
                                        3) The lock unlock button is not working properly
                                        4) The fitting of the phone is not proper. I could see the red led inside the phone which I was not able to see earlier.

                                        The service center details are as below

                                        After calling the call center even they are not able to take any action and resolve the problem and they are asking me to contact the service center again.
                                        Again I contacted the service center person and he says that he cannot do anything. He is not willing to send the phone back for rectification. He is not even providing me the service center manager’s number or any other details.
