On 24 April 2012 I bought HTC one v ,
And from the very first day its been working extremely slow , it was my first hand experiencw with a smart phone and an HTC phone so I presumed that's how it works !
But a month later when I found my friends mobile working damn fast I walked to the trader from which I bought this mobile , he did a factory reset and it became fast , later after 2 weeks the same problem was faced , I again went there and he updated the system software and gave me and it worked well for the next few weeks later the same problem was faced he then referred me to the service centre of the HTC , they kept ny mobile and after 3 days , gave me saying it'll work now we have done t he software update , I told them that the same has been done and I face the same problem in a few week again , so on my request they sent my phone to Mumbai , and it came back in a week or so , it worked properly for like 20 days and I've started facing the same problem !!

It just happens again and again
And I strongly want the forum to take action against it

And compensate for the loss of my time , my resources , and the loss it has done to me in terms of academic and business , as I had no source to reach to my mails , and was without mobile for many a days !!

    I have submitted HTC Wildfire S mobile Handset at HTC Care Service Center,Ccom Services,F-11,Eternity Mall,Teen Haath Naka,Thane-West,Maharashtra-400601 on 25th August,2012.After techincal issue verification and estmation from Service Center,Though I confirmed that I dont want to undergo repair and to return respective handset but I havnt recived my phone and HTC Service Center and Ccom
    services are unable to find/track my mobile status.

      HTC Global Services is a fraudulent company that exploits and extorts money from their employees. These people trick you into signing bunch of documents without telling what they are for and later use it against you. These people make employees sign bonds even though it is illegal and use it for extortion during the relieving process.

      These people claim that they are CMM level 5 company even though they are not. They make numerous promises and won't fulfill any of them. These people are full of guile and disguise.

      My advice for the people who want to join HTC is, please don't do it. It's not worth it, take my word for it.

      The condition for HTC are as below.
      1) you will have training for the period of 15 months in which u will work for 7 hrs in voice or non voice process and two hours of training. with stifund of rs 6000 to 8000 (don't exactly remember)
      2) After 15 months you will be put to a test if you qualify, then you will be put in to project with 2 years bond. in which you will be paid 15000 for first year and based on your performance you will be getting salary on the following year.
      3) so 15 months training with stifund and two years bond i[censored] get selected in projects total of 3.3 years bond.
      So its up to you to decide.

      what i would conclude is that there are many companies who try to exploit fresher more worse than this. I have attended many interview where they would ask us to pay amount or have to work for least 3 months without salary and so on conditions.
      HTC compared to these companies is far better, they give an orientation before you attend interview in which most fraud companies fails to give, i.e they make you come till ifnal round and then tell you all sorts of conditions. So HTC compared to others is not so worse. But deifnitely the company has taken the advantage of the market situation and try to exploit fresher a little ie for the first 1.3 years by paying an inadequate salary.

        sir i krishna bought htc one x for Rs.36750.date of purchase was april 6 2012.since then i m facing battery problem as well internal problem.sir i had reported to htc consumer centre and asked them for return of my money or exchange of my phone.the people working at htc consumer care at borivali mumbai have been ignoring me.sir i would request u to ban this company product.

          complaint regarding mobile service
          Dear sir.,

          I have been lodged a complaint in mobile service centre named Redingtion india limited sigra varanasi . I have recorded my complaint on 20/07/2012 vide their bill no 7152 in the name of resham vastralaya . BUT TILL DATE MY COMPLAINT HAS NOT BEEN ATTENDED AND I AM NOT RECEIVING ANY SATISFACTORY ANSWER. Please see that I get my mobile at the earliest. I had called them today but they still want 10 days time .

          Kindly look into matter and pls take a necessary action.

            This complain is regarding to below mentioned mobile details:

            Case History: I bought theis mobile on 9the Apr.2012, after a monthe I faced thee problem of display malfunctioning (spots on thee screen) so I have given thee set to M/s.Salora International Limited (HTC service centre) for repair, theey told theat set can't be repaired so theey provided new handset (IMEI of previous mobile :[protected]).

            Then again I faced thee thee same problem in new handset so I submitted it to M/s.S K Enterprises (HTC service centre) withe Job no."DEL[protected]", after repair i received thee handset and I denied to accept it as theere thee brightness of thee set compared is very low.

            S K enterprise has convinced me to get it repaired again so theey took thee mobile again for repair withe thee Job no."DEL[protected]". And when I called thee service center for collecting thee handset, I found thee same problem (Dull brightness) again so I refused to accept thee set again.

            And theen made a complain to HTC call centre ([protected]) withe ticket no."121INC[protected]" theat I need refund or upgrade of thee mobile as I don't want to use theis model again in life, Mr.Ravi has told me theat he has escalated thee case and I would be receiving thee call withein 48 hrs, however I did not received thee call withein 48 hrs, I received thee call on 4the from HTC stating theat my handset can be repaired only it can't be refunded or upgraded but I asked for thee mail stating thee reason for not refunding or upgrading, thee employee on thee phone told me theat he will send thee mail right now, however I have not received a single mail from HTC.

            Now I am very frustrated and upset withe HTC services, theis is thee first time I was using thee handset of HTC but withe theis kind of experience it will be thee last one .

              I have complained 4 times in HTC portal, but i did not get luck to solve my issue & the reason behind this is the Worst service center & customer care of HTC. These are my 4 complain numbers (from last 1 month) : 12INCW34ENA000369 12INCW33ENA001058 12INCW33ENA000733 12INCW31ENA000814 IMEI No : [protected] I have submitted my mobile (Wildfire S) on 3rd of aug 2012 at Relington, jaipur (rajasthan). They told me that within a week they would give me the Quotation regarding my damaged screen. Till 3rd of Sept 2012 (1 month after submission) i did not get any quotation from there side. I called them many times (more than 100 times), but they do not receive calls. I went there twice but did not get any response from there side. I took the help of customer care many times, but they told me that they did not have any updates regarding my issue. I Called customer care 3-4 times and found that there is no updates regarding my cell phone in there database. I went to Relington, Jaipur service center but they told that HTC did not send any update. On 4th Sept, 2012, i called service center and they recieved the call, i gave him my IMEI number and then he said that the device is at our end and HTC send it back to them because ddevice is not under warranty. I told them that i knw my device is not under warranty & i was waiting for the quotation. Then i told him what is reason behing sending it back to you without diagnose?? then he said that there is some liquid issue on the device. Then i told him that there is damaged touch issue not the liquid issue, the device was working fine but the touch was not working. Then after sometime he changed his answer & said they send the device because the repairing cost is very high. I said to him that how much repairing cost is?? i said him that you should told me before getting it back to you. Then he said that its HTC responsibility to call you for the quotation, i said him that i got the call 2 week ago from HTC customer care & Customer care said that you people(Relington) would give me quotation that day. (They both contradict at each other statement, i was totally fed up of these games) Then i called him after sometime then he said that you can collect your phone in the condition as it was and if you want to repair it, then it will take 4200 rs. and you need to wait for 10 more day. I am fed up od this coz customer care told me that there is no update or entry regarding this mobile & Relington, jaipur said that they send it to Gurgaon & get it back. They changed there statements three times about the device.

                HTC P3350 — Non Replacement

                I had purchased a mobile handset of HTC - P3350 in May 2008, and just after one and a half month the handset developed some faults i.e. restarting again and again. It was submitted to your service center immediately, but after spending 3 months and hundreds of rounds at your center and everyday exchange of dialogue I was given the DOA and was asked to get the mobile handset exchanged from the supplier.

                The supplier at the city level has denied to change the set as it was not purchase from him and now after a month and so it was sent to the dealer Rudraksh Enterprises in Jaipur (Rajasthan) with the help of the shop owner from where the handset was purchased.

                After calling at your service center several times and contacting the concerned person in Jaipur no satisfactory answer is given. Nor the mobile has been replaced nor any decision has been taken. Now more than a month has passed and still no progress in the case, I am fedup with the company and its big name.

                HTC P3350 — defective mobile phone automatically going on silent mode

                Htc p 3350 Imei no. [protected] Refer to my above phone details. I purchased this phone on 15/10/2008 and since then I am facing a problem. The phone is going automatically onto the silent mode after every 5 to 6 hours, on switching it off and on it comes back to normal. I have done the following options ; 1.clear storage without any gain. 2.visited your noida service center on 24/10/2008 they rebooted the windows, took my 4 hours but again after5 hours had to face the same problem. 3. Then again visited your okhla service center on 24/11/2008 and they gave me back the phone after 20 days on 13/12/2008 but again after 20 days the problem has come back. Now what I need to do? I think its ridiculous on an eminent company like htc to sell such defected phones and then give such kind of a service to its customers. Does your company know what customer satisfaction is?                 HTC P3350 — BATTERY NOT BEING SUPPLIED AFTER REPEATED REQUEST

                I am using this phone just for the last one year. The Battery got sopilt after a years use and since the last 3 months am trying to arrange a replacable battery pack for my phone ( HTC P3350 / Battery pack ARTE160). The company is not at all suplying the battery after repeated requests and the service centre at Kolkata, Cell - O- Service had been asking me to call every day since the lst 3 months. Even after atleast 100 calls to them they keep asking me to call tomorrow everyday. I had also complained against this service centre and the non availability of the battery in the toll free number and emailed HTC. But no one is even bothered to help me.
                This board is probably my last resort and kindly tell me how can I take up the issue with the HTC people before trying out consumer court.

                  I brought my cell on 1st nov 11. I had some VIBRATIONAL problems with my phone HTC Wildfire S,i submitted it to the service centre on 23rd june 12.
                  from then on yesterdayi got my cell back on 1st september after facing so many problems with the service. first time they returned my cell in 15 days without correcting the problem and along with that they killed the SENSOR of my phone,same day i resubmitted it to them. den they returned it after 15 days this time both problems were there,along with that phone was going dead after every call. i resubmitted. then i complained properly to them to properly return my phone in working condition. den the called me after 4 days and said to collect the phone from the centre,when i went,my phone was not at the collecting centre and when i confirmed they said sorry and asked for 15 days correct it....i came back. this time they returned the cell in 30 days and yet the phone is not working...i m very upset. these people dont understand the trouble i face. my house is 40-45kms away from service centre. now they are saying sir resubmit the cell and we will work on it. out of 12 months of warrenty,my cell was at the service centre for more than 2 months. this is insane. Help Me.

                    This is the whole scenario included in this mail.

                    Hello,

                    I, Vikram Dharankar, purchased your handset hTC Incredible S (IMEI - [protected]) which is still in warranty. After 4 month o[censored]sing device, it started giving problems then I submitted to service center where motherboard got changed, within 2 months again motherboard changed by you for another problem. Changing motherboard again and again is not good sign for reputed company like you. After 2 months it again started giving problem, I asked you to either refund my whole amount of money or replace my device with new and that too with extended warranty cause I already lost my 1 month warranty when device was with your service center only. You agreed to replace my device and then I submitted my device to SAP Mobiles Dadar (w) which is your authorized service center.

                    As I entered to submit my device for replacement, no service center executive is interested to solve any problem, everybody is busy doing time pass like they are in college campus. But still I submitted device there, saying that I already had talk with hTC escalation executive Mr. Martin and he agreed to replace my device within 15 days then too after submitting device on 2nd August 2012, I got my device REPAIRED on 13th august which is supposed to be REPLACED with new device. I again called in customer care ([protected]) and again filed case for the same. I submitted device on same day but I got JOB SHEET on 20th august. Then I got call from Mr. Sushil (another hTC escalation executive) he promised me that I will receive my device before 30th August for sure. But It doesn’t happened, on 29th I received sms from service center (sent by very rude executive after trying to call him many times to know the process), that I can collect my device which is repaired by hTC, I still don’t know how already repaired device could again repaired and sent by you.

                    Meanwhile I called you every alternate day; every time your executives reopened my case and arranged my call with escalation dept saying that I will get call from you in next 24-48 Hrs. which is not yet happened except one call of Mr. Sushil who promised me to give my device before 30th August 2012. I found that you are not able to solve my problem properly and now I am fade up of your fake promises.

                    Now it’s been long time that I haven’t received my device. You can check each and every call history in which I got many promises by you peoples but not yet I am not yet satisfied with result. Now I came to the conclusion that keep the device with you and refund my whole amount of money which I spent on defective production of yours.

                        My mobile HTC Wildfire have screen touch and scroll key problem and i gave my mobile to htc service center vadodara(Redington India Limited). HTC service center send my mobile to mumbai main service center for internal hardware repairing purpose. After 10 days i get call from service center and he told me cost of mother board Rs.7700 pay for repairing. So i told him my mobile is on warranty so how i pay for that. So finally mobile is not repair after 25 days.

                        I complaint book here only for justice.

                        HTC Wildfire — Problems In HTC Wildfire

                        HTC Wildfire has lot of problems
                        1. REDEye Problem in every pic with flash.
                        2. Bad Battery Backup.
                        3. Does not support all types of video format and the mobile gets hanged.
                        4. Mobile will restart automatically

                          In the month June 2012 I have submitted my HTC Hand set in Borivali service centre to repair the Touch Screen Not working Properly, They take 15days to give me back.

                          Second time same problem held in the month of July 2012, I requested service centre in Borivali and re-submitted again they have 15 days and the problem not resolved.

                          Now 3rd time I have submitted Aug 2012 in Thane Branch Service Center and 2 weeks has over still my cell has not given to repair in HTC Service due to my earlier submission has not closed frm borivali branch...

                          Just I am getting calls from there complaint service.

                          I have requested to provide new hand set otherwise give me 3 month extra warranty.

                          Has also I hv told them my warranty is going due by August 2012 month after that If same problem held they will charge me to repair.

                          Can some1 support me, to get new hand set or extent 3 month warranty period with proper repair.

                            HI,
                            This is regarding a complaint with my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio. I brought this set on 9/12/2011. It's still having 4 months Warranty, A week back Its display (brightness) went abnormal. when I took it to the service center , they told me that its a Liquid Damage and wont be covered under warranty & the screen needs to be repaired. The estimated repairing cost was 8000 INR .
                            They kept the phone for about 4 days and then then the told me that My motherboard has corrupted and other two components.
                            They told me that repairing the phone would cost me as follows-

                            1. 4.3 inch qHD S-LCD Screen- 8000 INR
                            2. Motherboard - 12000 INR
                            3. Other Component- 2000 INR
                            With these two add-on my total repairing cost went to 24000 INR.
                            I can't understand if my phone was working fine with just some mere brightness issue, then how can its repairing cost me 24000 bucks when the cost of a New HTC Sensation XE with beats audio is 32000 INR.

                            Kindly, do the needful and help me out with this problem.

                                I got this product (HTC One V) with yellow pathes in April 2012. I have been given 3 replacements with the same issue and I denied. Finally, I asked for a refund which got approved a month back. I was promised to give refund by 12th August 2012 however it been over 2 months now I Have not got my refund and not having phone. HTC is not responding on my emails and call. They never respond back, it seems that the company doesn’t have a sense of responsibility to address the customer’s requirements and once the product is sold, they seem to care the least...


                                This is regarding my Case no’s # 12USCW27ENA000667, 12USCW26ENA000627, 12INCW23ENA000388, 12USCW23ENA000820, C[protected] wherein, I was approved a refund in lieu of my faulty device (HTC One V).
                                As per your Company’s guidelines I was told by (Vishal, Martin & Yogita) the entire process takes up to a maximum 25-30 days to get the refund.

                                Synopsis of the Issue:-

                                16th June 2012 – Complaint filed about faulty device and Submitted at Salora International, Kalkaji, New Delhi.

                                27th June 2012 – Received the repaired device having same fault. I refused to Collect.

                                13th July 2012 – Received a New phone as a replacement having same fault again. I refused to Collect. Asked for a refund.

                                13th July 2012 – Refund Approved per Vishal from Escalation team (I’m Having Call Recording).

                                14th July 2012 – Vishal asked to submit the remaining accessories with the Service Centre which got submitted the same day (I’m Having Call Recording).

                                17th July 2012 – Received a Call from Vishal saying the device is received and I should wait for 21 days for the refund (I’m Having Call Recording).

                                19th July 2012- Martin called up and informed the refund process would take up to a maximum 30 days from the Date of Approval (I’m Having Call Recording).

                                4th Aug 2012 – Received a Call from Yogita saying the refund would be provided by the deadline of 30 days as promised (I’m Having Call Recording).

                                13th Aug 2012 - I called up your Customer Support for follow up and I was promised a Call back from your Executive by Yogita, after an hour however, no call received (I’m having Call Recording).



                                Now, It has been over a month and I’m still counting. I’m extremely annoyed with your Support and have lost my patience.

                                I’m all set and having sufficient DOCUMENTATION and CALL RECORDING around this issue that easily enables me to lodge a Complaint against your Company in COSUMER FORUM.

                                I have given enough reminders and taken ample follow ups with your Support team, however, there is no go. Please treat this email as my GENTLE and FINAL reminder to your Company.

                                I’m leaving the decision to expedite the refund on you thereafter, I will be taking this matter to the Court on 18th Aug 2012 for further hearing.


                                Note* - The overall issue has stressed me mentally and affected me Professionally (Due to non-availability of a Smart Phone) as I have been missing my Office communication.

                                  This is to bring to your kind notice that I have given my HTC DESIRE phone for service at your service centre “Active Telecom, Shop No.- G6,G7, Vardhman North Ex Plaza, Plot No.H-4, Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, Delhi-110034 “ , Dated 6th July 2012 (of which I have attach the HTC CARE SERVICE REPORT issued to me at the time of submitting the phone) because there was the problem of low incoming voice and hands free jack was not working properly.
                                  I submitted the phone on the commitment that they will return the phone back to me in maximum 10 to 15 days. Already 15days was more than the sufficient time required. Since they did not give me any spare phone for that time I had to go through many difficulties but still I gave them just relying on the commitment made by them, that phone will be back to me in max to max 15days. They said me that I will receive the call from the service centre in 2 days to tell the cost. On 14th July they called me and told that the amount of `1397-00 (including tax and service charge) will be incurred, as three parts will be changed. The confirmation was given on the spot without any delay from my side and then they assure me to return the phone to me on 20th July.
                                  I am very disappointed with the service you give to your customers. It’s more than a month and I haven’t received my phone back. Moreover none of your service/ technical person from the service centre bothered to call me to inform the status of the phone and the clear reason that why there is a delay in giving back the phone. I had been continuously calling at the no. given on your site, i.e. [protected] they said that two parts have been changed and one part is still in progress and i will get back my phone before or till 23rd July (as shown by their computer records), then on that date they said it’s showing that you will get back your phone on 27th July, then on that day after calling I was amazed that it was further shift to 5th August, they said the phone was “Ok” and was under testing. On calling on that day they further shift it till 11thAugust. Today when I called they said it would take a week as it had not come from the head office. I’m really very disappointed with your this kind of service. There is no coordination between the service centre and the head office and on one is there who can give a satisfactory reason for such a serious delay. Continuously delaying its very problematic to me as I am a college student and without this I suffer with many problems.
                                  I frequently visit to the service centre and call them daily so that I can get a clear reply to such a delay, but the service persons failed to give any justified answer. Not having the phone had caused me losses and a heavy expense, so kindly gives me compensation along with my phone in proper working condition. If till Tuesday i.e. 14th August you are not capable of returning the phone back then give me a new phone or pay for it, I will buy a new phone myself.
                                  Before I take some serious step, do inform me regarding the above on my e-mail id (pulkit.[protected]@gmail.com) and also do call on this no. [protected] and inform me, as soon as possible.


                                  No further vague excuses will be accepted. If you don’t have any powers to do so then please do forward this mail to the authentic officer. It was really the worst experience of buying an HTC phone which cannot satisfy its customers after sales services.

                                  HTC Desire — Failure of phone after 1 week

                                  Hi,

                                  My name is Anup T Paul. I bought an HTC Desire on 24th Dec, 2010.
                                  On 31st Dec, 2010, the phone stopped working in middle o[censored]sing an application downloaded from the android market. I tried all the possible methods given in troubleshooting guide, but the phone shows no signs of life even when plugged to a charger.
                                  I work at infosys and this has affected my work because of the difficulty in contacting me using the mobile.
                                  What actions can I take and what are the steps I can do here?

                                  HTC Desire — Lost of Mobile Phone

                                  with request, I lost my Mobil phone HTC Desire S510, IMEI No.: [protected] at Malviya Nagar Market, New Delhi on 28th August'12 I went to police station but they refuse to file FIR but put a stump on my application through which I was able to get my duplicate sim card but regarding phone they ask me to consult my phone provider. Kindly look into the matter and plz help me.

                                    I Placed an order 1 month back for HTC Explorer mobile handset at Kaunsa Site. But the order status has changed to 'To Be refunded' after 10 days. I dont know why they want to refund the amount instead of delivering the product. Even my amount is not refunded till date. I tried calling numbers provided in kaunsa site and tried raising complaints in the site also. But no one responded from either sources. I dont know what to do with Kaunsa people. Please help me in this regards.

                                    i bought a new htc explorer set from krishna telecom govind nagar kanpur (U.P., INDIA)....but the shopkeeper didnt give me oreginal handfree...he said that there is no handfree with this mobile..i need your help...

                                      Sir,

                                      I am facing the display problem with my HTC Incredible handset which I took to HTC service centre in Bunglow Road, Kamla Nagar, Delhi. My phone is under warranty but I was being told that I have to pay for the display component as the LCD side frame is dislocated.

                                      I just want to genuinely ask them does it make sense to pay for the display when just the side frame is dislocated which has nothing to do with the display technically. When you are using a phone for 8-10 months then some kind of minor wear and tear happens (in this case this frame dislocation is a part of wear & tear).

                                      I even told the service centre person to change the display only & keep the same old side frame but I was again told that this side frame is a part of the main display only and cannot be fitted alone.

                                      I can never believe that a reputed company like HTC will find reasons to not fulfill the warranty claims. Just think from my perspective that why should I suffer only because of a 100 rupee component (the side frame which is dislocated in this case).

                                      I request for the issue resolvement in this case.

                                        I am one of your customer, who is being trouble because he owns one HTC handset, and unfortunately faced trouble in the same and have gone to your service center( which are outsourced to the most unprofessional/ non customer friendly company).

                                        To give you a background, I own a Wildfire S and its LCD have broken due to mishandling, and on July 7, 2012 i went to your service Center "Redington India, M-47,Sector 14, OLD DLF Colony, Gurgaon" for repair, and they charged Rs 255/- for doing nothing, said, that you would be informed by next Monday i.e. July 9, with the estimate. but till two weeks nobody bothered to inform any thing on the status.then i posted my issue on the FB page and after two days I received a call from Mumbai customer care, stating that your total estimate is approx 7000, I asked for the bifurcation of the expenses. The representative said he would get back to me, but nobody called till I posted my grievances on Facebook again. The post resulted bit expensive to me and the estimate raised by 3000 and now the final estimate becomes 10000 approx.. I am really surprised that for a 12000 handset you guys charge 10000 for repairing. And then I didn’t say anything and bang the phone.

                                        Then I decided to go to your service center and enquire about the handset, with a surprise again I was receiving my handset unrepaired, but arguing with the executive she took back the handset and promised me to get back to me with best possible estimate with all the bifurcation by Tuesday. And along with that I received a call from your Mumbai customer care department that we would share the final estimate to you on Monday. Now with regular calls to the service center till date I am been said that, we had not got any estimate from HTC, so we are unable to quote you.
