Sir/Madam, I had provided my HTC ONE X+, for a screen flickering issue on 25th March 2014, while the mobile was still under warranty. It has been three weeks now. I had been running every now and then to the HTC - TVS service center located at Basavangudi, Bangalore, during this three weeks. I had to resubmit my mobile again and again for the same issue. In three weeks, I had submitted my mobile four times with the same issue. Each time, they returned stating that the issue is fixed. Two times I was able to identify the issue while collecting it back from the service center itself and had immediately returned it back. When I contacted the HTC customer care, it is also not helping out in anyway, except for providing empty promises that it would be fixed if I submit my mobile again to the service center. This time again, after I got back my mobile I noticed the same issue. I am again being asked to resubmit the mobile. This doesn't seem to end. In this three weeks, my mobiles housing case and mother board has been replaced. My mobiles warranty period also got expired on 11th April 2014. When I contacted the customer care for replacement of my mobile, I am being denied even that stating that they wont replace the mobile until they replace minimum three hardware parts. If the service center has not been able to fix my mobile after so many days, I do not understand what they expect the customer to do. I have been completely taken for granted by the HTC Service Department and feels like HTC has decided to not respond to any of my mails or concerns raised in their online forums. I had also dropped a detailed mail of everything that I had to go through with their service center and customer care starting from 25th March 2014 to till date, to [protected]@htc.com. Still expecting a reply from them in this regard. Please note that, even after repeated requests to the customer care representatives I was not given contact of any of their superiors, so that I can interact and escalate. Hence raising this here. I also have a video of my mobile screen flickering issue, which I am unable to attach here. I can send it to the concerned if required. Mobile IMEI Num: [protected]. HTC Complaint/Ticket Numbers: 14INA[protected] & 14INA[protected] & 14INCW16ENA000093 & 14INCW16ENA000188 I had made to run more than enough and I want either a replacement to my faulty phone or full pay back of Rs.30000, which I had spent to get this faulty mobile. Hi Goutham,

I am also waiting for the same from 20th April. The most annoying factor is that, they are not accepting to even upgrade the handset, when I am ready to pay the extra money. Really pathetic. In short they will force us back to take the outdated model, no matter what.


For sure my problem is not yet resolved.

    I PURCHASED htc sv mobile on 31/12/2012 in delhi. the phone didnot last its warranty period and got defective during warranty period twice ( one time totally dead) . however it was repaired twice under warranty period and they assured me it will funtion properly, but again 2 months after completion of warranty it again became dead. I told them it is a defective set but they refused to replace it or repair it in warranty. phone was submittted to service centre on 20/3/2014 vide ticket no-14ina[protected]. they even charged me Rs561 but demanded extra 6000 rupees for repair. Ithis is the quality of HTC phones that they donot last their warranty and the service is so poor that the donot repair their defective sets. I am planning to move consumer court for the losses i incured in my buisness due to their defective phone and compensation. I will suggest all to avoid purchasing HTC phones because of their poor quality and poor service. vikas anand [protected] [protected]

      I Bought a HTC Desire X Dual Sim T239 phone on 19.Mar.14 and faced a problem in the handset on 29.Mar.14 as the phone got switched off automatically then I took out the battery and placed it again and then it got switched on..The same problem continued and the set finally got Off then I Complaint and the company replaced the handset on 1.Apr.14 and then started using it from 2.Apr.14 but again facing problem with the handset as sound profile chages automatically and unable to connect via wifi. Now I am feeling cheated as Faced problem again and gain My phone was switched off for entire day I bought Screen guard for the phone which are waste Downloaded some applications which has costed me Contacts and date saved gone and now need to collect the same again

        I bought HTC one on 12 August 2013 from E-Zone. In March I got message for new version of Android (Kitkat). I downloaded the software and after few days my phone got Stuck (completely Hung). I called HTC customer care and the guy on the call really help me to restore the factory setting however the phone was not allowing me to do so hence I approached to Thane Service Centre on 1 April 2014. This guy directly started blaming me that it is completely my fault and they will charge me for it. I said I just followed what customer care guy told me to do. He was still asking me that the device is tampered by me and ask me that HTC is not responsible. The device didn't even had a single scratch till date. I am really disappointed with the service from Service centre. Please suggest me how to proceed further.

          I had purchased and HTC One X+ in August, 2013. The performance was well and fine till the last month. Since the last month I have been observing that the battery back up is very poor. Even in idle mode battery keeps draining and many times my phone gets switched off even when kept idle. Now what happens is when the battery becomes around 30% phone gets switched off. This definitely shouldnot happen. It hasnt been even a year since I have bought this phone and I am totally unhappy with this poor performance of this set. Sometimes it gets switched off even when the battery is almost 50%. I was so happy to use this phone during the initail months, but this kind of performance make me feel that the phone is not worth the money I paid for it. Kindly help me out regarding the same. I need a battery replacement at the least because my phone is not longer a reliable one. Nobody knows when does it get switched off. Please consider my request on priority.             I have purchased HTC handset on T 326 E Desire SV 1.4 HTC on 8th April 2013 ( Bill number SI/ADY/41 in Sangeetha thiruvanmiyur Chennai Tamilnadu) . Bill copy attached for your reference. Frequently facing auto power off problem and was complaint with sangeetha dealer, they redirected to HTC service center (Bill copy attached) (Shipping number Q2S[protected] and RMA Number RINQ2S[protected]. I have complaint Power ON/OFF automatically, Screen rotating automatically and on receiving call auto power off, issue got resolved on first service (18/Nov/2013) and after few month same issue got popped up . Second time when I went to service center response was pathetic, after long fighting they asked us to leave the mobile in their service center(TVS electronic limited Anna salai chennai - 600006 Nungambakkam service executive - Mr. Jairaj) for checking. If a customer spending 21, 500/- and getting this kind of service shows the quality of service. what a poor quality of repair same problem for the second time in a year.Request your support if you can get faulty handset replaced/repaired at earliest as.               I have purchased subjected HTC handset on 16/08/2012 from one of the esteemed retailers in Kanpur (U.P) . Bill copy attache.on 11/3/14, handset was facing problem of display malfunctioning.For same problem handset was repaired under warranty in Apr'2013. Again for the same problem and handset was repaired from your authorized service centre in kanpur ( Redington) on 9th Dec'2013 (job no:- knu[protected]. Bill copy attache. Post service repair 3 months warranty was provided and as soon as warranty expired (9/3/14) same problem AGAIN.When we approached current authorized service centre (Superphone point, balaji complex, the mall, Kanpur)they confirmed that they have nothing to do with this problem occurred earlier and previous repair at redington. they took copy of bill and service receipt and confirmed to revert back. The service reciept had a date 12/12/13(Containing 3 months warranty)but the current service center confirmed that the job was closed on 09/12/13 at Delhi, thus your warranty period is over and you have to pay for the same problem repaired three months before... what a poor quality of repair same problem for the third time in a year.Request your support if you can get faulty handset replaced/repaired at earliest as.                 I bought HTC one 801e for rs41000 last year in Chennai univercell mobile branch past two months I faced overheating and battery level drain problems after two services the problem not solved last time they entioned in delivery copy main board with new imei number, but problem not solved.there is no service center in my town all times I need to go Chennai only.
                My native is vellore 150km s far from Chennai.
                Yeserday 10.3.2014 I got the mobile from HTC service
                centre with replaced main board and new imei.
                Sir kindly give solution for this problem.

They have guided us to update software online (from the instrument itself) and we did it ourselves accordingly. After the complaint the SMS started working. It has stopped working yesterday so we again talked to your customer service centre yesterday. As advised by your customer service centre (Ms Cloria), today, we visited your authorised service centre in Anand, Gujarat (Shri Manish, Pooja Communication, B/105 Shree Ram Archade, Near Gopal Crossing, Sashtri Bagh Road, Station Road, Anand 388001, Gujarat. Total cost of the mobile is Rs. 42990/- and we have purchased the same from M/s. Generation M from Anand City (District Anand, State Gujarat). The newly purchased mobile number's IMEI 1 number is [protected], IMEI 2 number is [protected] and MEID number is A1000037A65821. We are not able to get any SMS to newly purchased instrument since last 3 days. Our Managing Director is using this instrument and it causes many problems to him as well as sender.                       I bought HTC desire X in nov, 2012. In feb 2013 my phone was not at all booting up, I checked with HTC guys and they told that motherboard has some issue so we need to replace this. Again in year feb, 2014 I am facing the same problem that my phone is not at all booting up but this time they are asking for Rs 7556 to repair the phone. Now my concern is if every year the motherboard will comp up these kind of problem then the cost of this phone will go very high. I am not asking to fix it free of cost but give some discount on this as this is problem of HTC hardware.

                        Hi,

                        I purchased a HTC desire U phone worth 13, 500 rs on 22/09/2013 from Nellore big-c mobile store. As soon as 1 month was over I started facing phone is hanged daily above 5 time and automatically phone is re started issues with phone.

                        I submitted the phone to Nellore HTC service center. He was update the software but no resolve my problem, so I had to re submit my phone to again Nellore htc service center he was sent to Delhi service center.

                        This process took around 20 days of time and finally I got the cell in my hand.When I checked the cell the said issue was not solved.

                        When I called up the service center to ask why wasn't the cell checked before delivering to me they had no answer.

                        I re submitted the phone again to Nellore HTC service center, he was sent to Delhi service center. This process took around 20 days of time and finally I got the cell in my hand.When I checked the cell the said issue was not solved

                        This put me into thinking that this cell is a defective piece.So I called up HTC service center to give me a new replaced
                        cell.I had to call them up literally 10 times in 3 days just to tell them what blunder they had done to my cell.(As most of the time their line is busy/ your call gets disconnected and you talk to a new person everytime).

                        What a headache this call center is ... MY GOD.

                        I was given n number of reasons as in why can't I ask for a new cell(They just give warranty not guarranty).

                        I lodged 3 complaints in this regard but HTC has not contacted me back to resolve my issues.

                        Why should I stick to the faulty piece. I do have the right to ask for a new cell. If my complaint is not acted upon I will go to consumer forum and the media.

                          Dear Sir/Madam, i have purchased 1 htc desire v with imei no.([protected]) on 29/5/2013 from M/S National Radio Products 1/Biplabi Anukul Chandra Street Kolkata-700072. vide their cash memo no. 3573 . Since the day of purchase i have faced several problems with my mobile handset like lcd panel abnormality, the device hangs very frequently and freezes about 5 times a day, it shuts down suddenly even if the device is fully charged. i had visited the service centre TVS Electronics LTD. (100 Raja Basanta Roy Road Kolkata-700029), once wherein they sorted out the problem by making me wait a few hours. Thereafter again due to the above problems i deposited my handset on 16/10/2013 and received it after necessary rectification on 20/10/2013. in the service report it is mentioned "replace lcd w/Touch window & bezel" Due to the problems stated above, I had submitted my device again to the service centre after contacting the global htc contact helpdesk. The experience at the service centre was most undelightful. Furthermore on their saying I had submitted my handset for their servicing. Within a few days I received a call from them stating that it had been fixed and i received the handset on 29/1/2014. On the service copy it said that they had changed the entire mainboard/motherboard of the handset. The device was working fine for a few days after that but within a month it again started causing the same problem, in addition to corrupting the memory card inside the device. I am a student and have to attend tuition classes everyday at different locations hence, without a working mobile phone I am facing a lot of problems towards communicating at my residence. I would humbly request to kindly help me in arranging to replace the entire set immediately and save me from this daily hassle and harassment of visiting the service centre of htc every couple of months. I was told that the mother board is faulty, replacement will cost Rs. 17-18000, which is extremely high. 2. My phone is hardly 2 years old, the phone just stopped working. Just like that, sitting in my pocket. My friend had the exact same problem and he got the exact same response from the service center, he sold the phone for Rs.3000 which was bought for ~ Rs.35000 ~ 1 year back. 3. I have my phone lying dead with me, because I am not ready to spend another 18000 rupees on such a bad hardware. 4. For the entire term I used the product, I had really horrible experience with my bluetooth and wifi connectivity, I researched after I was told about the faulty motherboard and found this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688538, which tells that I always had a faulty motherboard ! 5. The service center returned my phone with broken body and told me that it was like that beforehand, which is not true. I called the customer care from there only and registered a complaint, I was told to collect the phone and go back and I was told that we will look into the issue and also why such a high price was quoted for the motherboard replacement. 6. I had to call back 3 times before I could get an update on my complaint number (14ina[protected], and after staying on long holds for multiple times, I am again put in conference to the same guy at service center and I am asked to talk to him. Who again repeats the story that the phone was broken when it was given to the service center. 7. I told the agent to transfer my call to the manager, which he didn't even after putting my call on hold multiple times. I have already tried my best and given up on HTC support. I am going to put a complaint in Consumer court, I am posting it here just to inform people about HTC's product quality and the after sales experience for one of their flagship phones. I called the customer care from there only and registered a complaint, I was told to collect the phone and go back and I was told that we will look into the issue and also why such a high price was quoted for the motherboard replacement. 6. I had to call back 3 times before I could get an update on my complaint number (14ina[protected], and after staying on long holds for multiple times, I am again conferenced to the same guy at service center and I am asked to talk to him. Who again repeats the story that the phone was broken when it was given to the service center. 7. I told the agent to transfer my call to the manager, which he didn't even after holding multiple times. I am not posting this here to get a resolution, I have already tried my best and given up on HTC support. I am going to put a complaint in Consumer court, I am posting it here just to inform people about HTC's product quality and the after sales experience for one of their flagship phones.                                   I Sunny Humbre had submitted my HTC Desire V serial no: HT28YPG01856 for repair on 7 feb 2014 at 4:18:22 pm to V care IT services & solutions Pvt Ltd, Vile Parle. Ticket no: 14INA[protected]. They told me that they will contact me in following 1 or 2 days and let me knw the proposed quotation amount and wether i should accpeted or reject it. But they didnt contact me hence i called the tollfree helpline[protected] on 11 feb 2014 when i was told that motherboard of the device has to be replaced for which quotation of Rs.6287 have been proposed for repair. I rejected that quotation as I cant pay this amount on the same call and send back my device unrepaired. On 13 feb 2014, i was told that due to some technical problem at HTC back office my motherboard was replaced and the device was repaired. I had already told that i wont be able to pay the amount so i forwarded this complaint but i havnt got any reply until present date. Hence i request you to free my charge of repair or offer a new device.

                                    HTC India Dear Sir or Madam, Subject : Faulty Handset & Mental Harassment This is Manish shrivastava from bhopal. I have bought HTC Desire V phone on 4th january 2013 amounting to Rs. 16100/ -from the day i bought after 2 months the problem is start Following are the problem with the phones: • Phone gets hang • Phone restart anytime • Apps not responding • Different Error messages for software as well as hardware related • Slowest phone • HTC and G sensors not working After all this issues I visited TVS service center Bhopal Madhya Pradesh several times. Every time I visit them they inform / tell to do the same procedure / process to me / every body like : • Take out your sim card / battery / memory card • Format the phone • Software upgrading needed Even after doing all these several times, my phone didn’t work properly as Rs. 16100/- phones should work. After wasting so much time & energy, they finally listened & took my matter in their hand after six to seven months of fight, the • Mother board Even after changing the spare parts mentioned above, the phone was same as before. Unfortunately the phone is still facing the same problems like before. Again after the problem was not resolved look into the matter very seriously other wise I shall take a legal / penal action against the company as I am being harassed since more than 12 months. This is to inform that I am very clear that I won’t accept HTC Desire V now it is out dated / a flop / fail model. Please do issue a credit note for my bill amount. Consider this communication a final notice from me otherwise I will issue a legal notice if matter is not resolved in a weeks time. Will wait for you quick positive reply.                                       Hi HTC, I have hand over my HTC Desire X mobile to Cochin service center TVS, They agreed to return that mobile after 7 days max. After 1 month when i called them, they said parts is not affable in Chennai, so need to bring from Twaivan and they don't know when they can deliver the mobile. My mobile complaint was touch screen not functioning properly. Why the company like HTC selling their mobile in India, with out proper service and parts. I planned to go for Consumer court, against all the HTC dealers in INDIA and HTC company. Mobile sellers are giving assurance that this brand getting proper service on time, if that promise failed, customer can go to court.                                         I had purchased my HTC Windows 8s phone from Sangeetha Electronics, Mangalore, City Centre Mall on March 2013 which I can never forget. From the time I purchased the phone I have had several issues. I had an Apple iphone 3s which was really much better but I sold it to buy this HTC phone for which I am regretting now. The first problem I had within 3 months of purchase was that it automatically switched on to Flight Mode once I swithed off the phone and switched it on again. And after that I tried to switch off the flight mode and it never swithed off no matter how many times I tried to do it. There is no authorised HTC service centre in Mangalore so one day when I went to Bangalore I went to to the HTC service centre which is in a place called Basavanagudi which I had a tough time finding. Somehow I got there and gave my phone for repair. They told me it will take a weeks time and they will call me once it is repaired. After a week no call at all. Then when I called they said again it will take a week. At the end it took a month for it to be repaired. I was soo happy once I got the phone and I wished to never come back again for any other problem. But unfortunately again after few months the phone started to hang. It used to switch off and switch on as it likes. Sometimes it does not even switch on and I had to keep pressing the display by which it used to switch on again. It started happening frequently. So one day I decided to go to Bangalore and repair the phone again. I gave the phone and it was repaired. They said the reset the system and now it will be fine and again it took them 1 week to do that. Then I came back to mangalore immidiately. Again after 2 days same problem. Then whatever I tried to do it did not switch on. Now I cant keep running to Bangalore all the time so I tried to find a service centre in mangalore which was also authorised for HTC its called Nagashree Communications near KSRTC bus stand. I gave the phone to them and they told that they need to send it to the HTC Service Centre in Bangalore since it cannot be repaired here and it will take a week. They sent it. Now after a week I received a mail from the service team with a quotation of 11, 500 which I can accept or reject accordingly. It was also mentioned that even though it is under warranty the customer had misused the phone so they cannot consider the warranty. Now what do I do? I rejected it. I just thought i had bought the phone 10 months ago for 19, 500 not the new phone has become around 14, 000, so how does it make sense spending 11, 500 to repair this old phone. Now I have decided one thing, that no matter what i will never buy any HTC product and I will tell all my friends and whoever I meet to never buy HTC cause I know how much I have suffered and I do not want anyone else to go though this. My sincere advice to all, please buy any other phone but not HTC. Its for your own good. Take Care. Bye.
