Hi,
First of all let me describe the complaint in detail from the day 1. I am very very dissatisfied with the services provided by HTC. This is the worst experience I have
ever come across my life till date.
On Dec 27 2012 I purchased this product from Reliance digital in Mangalore. During purchase we asked the representative ""if at all there is any issue with the handset,
would we be provided warranty for the repair of the part or the replacement. **WE WERE TOLD THAT THIS IS A REPLACEMENT WARRANTY**. We also confirmed from the counter
and the manager there if it is a replacement warranty or the repair warranty and we got the same answer. We then purchased the set
As I was out of town for 2 months, I didnt quite get an opportunity to use the set until Feb 27.
I started usiing the set on March and that point I realized that my set was overheating and would become red hot. I spoke to the representative on couple of occasions
on this and they(Shabana) said to go to Task Manager and kill all the apps always and also to download HTC Temperature check to check the temp
But this step barely helped and as the days progressed, I observed that the temp was getting wrse and then I did install Temperature check and I found that my mobile
would on consistent basis hit 48 degrees which is way above normal of 45 degrees.
In the Month of may, my mobile went down completely.
When I went to the Service center (Sree Sai cells in Indiranagar, Bangalore), when I asked them for the replacement they disagreed and said that they would provide
quality check and sent it to factory for the repair
This was the 2nd instance I went to the Service center. ( 1st was to show them the overheating condition for which they asked me to check with the Tech suport).
On the arrival of the set, they told me that the Mother Board was burnt and they replaced it.
On using the set again I found the same issue again, I found that my set was still overheating and I called several times on this case to HTC and spoke with Saurab
and the steps provided by them hardly worked and I was tired calling over and over again and my regular visit to Service center too so in this instance i kept quite
After couple months in the month of Aug my device went down again, and again I asked Service center for the replacement but they again disagreed.I was on 1 hour calls
with several agents during this time ( Maneesh, Vipin, Renuka) at differnet instances to get a replacement and finally I was told that Quality check will be done
on the device and if the issue reoccurs with the Hardware on this device, they will replace the unit and also on conversation with Vipin, I got an extended warranty
of 1 month. So Jan 27 2014. I approached the service center too and they asked me that if the device is going down so often you need to call up customer service and
ask for the replacement which I did but I got no positive response. On the arrival of the unit from the factory, it was again told to me that the device motherboard was
burnt again and they replaced the unit
And yet again in less than 1 month, yet another hardware issue with the set . This time it is the internal hardware issue with the camera. We did the basic
torubleshooting steps with the agent on the call and the camera did not run. When I contacted the Customer support again, they again denied providing replacement
Also, they denied connecting me to the Senior representatives on the floor even after I asked several times on this regard. They were blunt on the call and said
that the seniors would also say the same thing.
I still agreed to thus incidnet and asked them to connect me to the escalation team. I told them I would need a call back in 24 hours, however, they said that
as per their SLA they will get back to me in 24 hours. Its been 72 hours now and I am still facing the same issue. The escalation team is least bothered to call me
and time and again have not called me
I have ffew questions to ask here.
1. Who will provide my lost time with the technical support, I have been making of the time from the 1st day I contacted them. I have made a total of 16 calls
till date and the total amount I spent so far is 4 hours 35 minutes on the call.
2. I travelled to the Service center 4 times and the distance from my house is 14 kms. It takes 3 hours to travel to Service center to and fro.
This way I travelled 4 times making it total of 12 hours. Is this a small thing to go againa and again when I know that this set is a faulty one.
And yet again they asked to reach out to the service center again.
These are the list of ticket nos and the agents I spoke to till date and I havent seen anything changing.

As per the warranty card this is waht it says and the Service center or the tech support are not aware of the rules and regulations:
This warranty shall apply to the HTC product from the purchase date.
Throughout the warranty period, HTC or its authorized agent will at its descretion without charge and suject to Clause no 7, repair or replace the defective product.
Repair or replacement can involve the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned unit.
HTC will return the repaired product or replace with another functional equivalent product to the customer in good working condition
At this point I am in the helpless situation as I still havent received any call from the escaltion team and they are least bothered about it
Please assist.
If no action taken, I will be enforced to higher authority
