I had purchased HTC One X on April 14 and after a month the system crashed. We submitted to HTC Service centre immediately on May 26.

It is June 18 and we do not have any update on the status of the mobile repair. We were told that we would be getting the handset on June 16. And when I call up the service centre they are still saying parts are pending. I am not sure how long we will have to wait for the costliest HTC mobile sitting idle in the factory. The company is not ready to replace the mobile and this has been pending for about a month now with the same update "Pending for parts" The customer service is totally irresponsible in answering. It gives the need to go to consumer court to sue for a defective product and a hopeless service.

    this is guhan.
    i bought HTC WILDFIRE S mobile on july 2011.

    In May 2012, touch panel was not working properly.
    So i gave my handset to service in nungambakkam service center by may end.

    After 10 days gap, they returned my mobile handset.
    It was working fine on that day only.

    But again now i'm facing the same issue.

    Very very poor service by HTC..

    When i asked them, there's no proper response from them.
    worst service provided by HTC.

    kindly help me to solve my issue.
    where to give my mobile for service?
    whom should i contact to resolve my issue?

    i have given a mobile to htc services center for htc_HD2 mobile it was submited on 19 july and from that i am not geting any proper response from them i dont knw where to complaint and how to tackle with them i have not seen this type of service from any of the mobile company so pls help me out...

      I bought HTC one V on 22/5/2012 with IMEI [protected] . Within two days phone rebooted by its own and got heated while charging. So , on 26 /5/2012 I visited the service centre with the same problem .on 5/06/2012 same problem of heating up of the phone increases and again I visited the service centre and requested for the DOA . THE. HTC executive at the service centre took the phone and handed over the receipt with the ticket number 12INA[protected] and Job number DEL[protected] and on the same day I registered the complaint with the HTC support centre and I am in regular interaction with them and till 13/05/2012 which is a week . Your hHTC centre told that the acceleration of this matter has already been done and they had not received the confirmation of the .DOA from the higher authority . I took the phone back on 14/5/2012 with the same condition as it was on 6 /5/2012 . The same problem of heating of the phone is still occurring . I am really fed up with HTC product and the services provided by you all.
      Now what assistance shall I get from HTC .

      Kindly do something in this matter

      I completely agree and same even more problem with HTC One V device facing I am.
      I brought HTC-One V 2 Months Before, It stop Charging, and stop working. Then i notice one thing it is made in CHINA, i never notice this before.
      When i visit the HTC -Service Center, there are about 50 peoples line up with the same HTC One V & One X customer in the same Service center.
      All of them are just 1 or 2 Months old mobiles, All of them have same problem. HTC it self selling such a bad product.

      MOST IMPORTANT WARNING
      Google is hiding this kind of post and threads, Since Android is Google product. To promote their products in the market they are supporting HTC and other devices also. Check Android based reviews in, MSN / YAHOO other Neutral Search engine. I have Failed to do this, I don't want you peoples lose your valuable, Hard earned MONEY.

      -Please Do Not buy HTC-China Product..( or up-to you. after purchase you will realise this. I have used HTC before. The old HTC phones are still excellent functioning)

      Then i wrote mail to HTC..The reply below. Also there is my response to the same mail. ..:-) Read this with care..

      "As we understand from your email that, the service-center has recommended you to visit our 'Pune' service-center due to device purchased from 'Singapore'.

      We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
      In this regard, we would like to intimate you that the HTC devices are country specific devices. The device which is not shipped for 'India' will be consider under 'Global Warranty Support (GWS). So any repair and services on your device will be considered under the Global Warranty Support (GWS) policy and the required service is provided by our TVSE service-center. Please refer to the direct web link for the nearest TVSE service center your location: http://www.htc.com/in/help/service-center

      Please note the terms and condition for availing GWS repairs in India are as follows:
      1.You will have to pay the GWS handling charges o[censored]SD $35.
      2: The device should not be an operator locked device.
      3.You need to have a valid proof of purchase and device should have been purchased within 12 months.

      If any of the above conditions is not fulfilled, it will consider under Out of Warranty.
      Note: Please note that for getting Out Of Warranty services for your device, you will have to pay the GWS repair charges of 35$ USD along with the spare part charges if any spare parts are being replaced during repairing of the device

      My response to HTC-Again

      I spoke to the customer care information, I am aware about all the above information; I am ready to pay this $35 USD, apart from this, I have many other points mentioned in my first mail,

      Why HTC went to the pour quality products, Hope, you are not interested in this quality issue, or you are afraid to elevate this issue in the higher level, I heard the public voice about HTC-Products in the Mumbai service center. That’s only thing I want to inform you. I used HTC before, I been to the HTC-service center before. I never had seen such a huge crowd in HTC service center before. I never heard such a BAD WORDS from customers. I had using other products like ASUS mobile, MOTOROLA;


      I have already elevated this issue to HTC-Taiwan level, No worry you are getting paid, till the HTC exists.

      I never Knock HTC-India or Taiwan again. Also I am going to forward the same mail copy to HTC-Taiwan.

      I don’t use this mobile in further, I will buy other product. Also, I will post this mail in Non-Google Based search engine and Forum. The Google might hide this kind of news, since you are using Google product.
      I am also fed up and disappointed with the HTC service and product. Do not trust on HTC and request to Consumer Form please take strong action.

          Dear Sir/ Madam,
          I am writing to inform you about the faulty mobile phone that I have purchased.
          On the 13th of November,2011, I bought a brand new HTC ChaCha A810e mobile (IMEI number[protected]). However, upon one month o[censored]sing it, problems started to appear. The touch panel of the mobile started functioning abnormally. I was very surprised to discover such problems in quite an expensive model.
          Naturally I returned the mobile phone in your HTC Service Centre (District Centre Janakpuri West, New Delhi) to get it repaired/replaced with a new one. The Sale of Goods Act 1979 makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. The staff told me that they will call me at my mobile number within one week as soon as the phone is repaired/replaced. I did not received any call from the service centre and no information was given to me about my phone whenever i tried to contact the service centre. Nearly one month passed and I got a new phone replaced on 5th of April, 2012 (IMEI number[protected]) by the service centre somehow. Also, I had earlier purchased the phone in white color and afterward they replaced me the same model in black color without even asking me. After using the new phone, I experienced many problem with phone's network and screen. The main problems are discussed as follows:
          (1) no network while being in the best network range.
          (2) "NO SIM CARD INSERTED" warning displayed while the SIM card is in the phone.
          (3) getting no display screen after receiving a call, while the phone is still switched on (problem with the proximity sensor)
          In respect to this, I tried speaking with the customer care many times and initially they provided with a temporary solution for restoring factory settings which did not worked. They insisted me on going through the service centre repair/replacement procedure again. The nearby htc service centre in District Centre Janakpuri West, New Delhi got shut down, so I had to go to a service centre in Noida to get it done. The staff at the service centre told me to submit the phone for one more week so that they can forward the handset to the company to make the repairs. After ten days I got my phone back from the service centre (Satyam Communications, Noida Sector 18). Upon using the phone for a couple of days, the same problem with the proximity sensor appeared again and I felt cheated by the company. The attempts to resolve the problem have not been satisfactory and they claim that there is nothing more they can do to help me. I am very upset for the poor service.
          I insisted on getting a DOA (Dead On Arrival) letter so that I can get my phone replaced on my own from the store that I bought earlier, or a refund of my full payment if the former is not possible, but they said it is against the policy. Also they hardly pick up the call whenever someone tries to call the htc customer care. I have attached a copy of HTC Repair Report and the original bill of the mobile phone.

          HTC CHA CHA — Poor service

          my mobile has not working your service centre SALORA INTERNATIONAL LTD CHANDIGARH has guided to me for replace volume fpc cable after 20 days.i have received mobile but lots of other problem create in mobile i.e. screen lock is not proper working,battery back is very short.if disconnect phone call display light is not working.
          Please do the needful on urgent basis.

            i got a htc wildfire phone with imei no;[protected],,
            i bought on 15th march..it came in with a faulty ear phone jack..so i gave to service centre on 8th may and got it back after 20days with yet another problem...i ve been tryingto get to customer care authorities but they are least bothered
            please help,,,,the service being offered by htc service center india is so lousy and irrespononsible

              I like to inform that i purchased HTC Explorer-A130e for worth Rs. 9300/- on 13th May 2012 from shop Planet-M. Headset's IMEI Number is [protected] and S/N number is HT1ADVN05092.
              At the time of purchase, Retailer said that he had not it's earphone because of out of stock.
              And told me to get HTC-Earphone with in 2-3 days.

              Now retailer says that HTC-Earphone had not received by him from his Head-department and said to me to take unbranded earphone otherwise wait for earphone but i was disagree with him.
              I didn't take that unbranded-earphone and decided to wait.
              But i have not got till now.

                Part I:
                I have purchased HTC Smart handset on 10/02/1011 from New Impression Store in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Within few months it started giving problems like very slow response, auto restart, hanging etc. I contacted HTC service center in Raghuleela Mall, Vashi and problem solved. Again after month same problems started coming, again visited service center they solved the problem by doing some stuff.
                Again 2-3 months later same problems started, I demanded a replacement of handset as it was not stable at any point. On assurance of Mr. Abhinay, I visited to HTC Service center in Dadar as guided by Mr Abhinay of HTC. I deposited handset on 06/10/11 and collected on 10/10/11 with main board changed. Mr. Abhinay assured me of no problems in future and extended warranty period by 6 months as I faced frequent problems after buying handset. (Mistake happened from me as I didn’t take mail confirmation for same as I thought it might be policy by HTC).
                On 7th March 2012, Handset again got switch off and not restating now. I have called HTC Service center on 12th March 2012 for handset problems and demanded replacement as it was total waste of money for me. They assured me somebody from HTC will call back me, which never happen. I again called in afternoon and again on 13th March 2012. I called 4 times explaining same issues to different representatives in 2 days. One of the representatives told that, it’s now out of warranty and I need to bear the charges. Is it justifiable that I need to pay for the original product defects from HTC ?? It is not a single evidence which is showing the damage in product. Do HTC want to give such kind of support to its customer ?? Last time Mr. Chirag told that I will receive call in 48 Hrs. lets see….
                It is really a painful thing for me as I bought HTC and suffering from it. Will HTC see this pain of suffering from problem, bad response from representatives, and longer wait for service. Will I get replacement???....

                Frustration Part II:
                After Handset Replacement: Above was my thought before my handset replacement. …after many follow-ups i got replacement for defective handset.
                On 21st Feb 2012 I was given a replacement handset along with 3 months extended warranty. Now just within one month it has started giving problems like auto switch off in calls, Low response and also screen is like yellowish. After followup with HTC CC ( Customer Care) they again asked me to visit Service centre which I did ( against wish). Center guys did software reinstallation part and gave me handset back. It worked fine for next 20 days around and again calls hanging started. ( phone ringing continuously till we switch off it , not able to pick calls also….Again I contacted CC telling this problem and asked for upgraded handset as its giving problem again. But MR Ajay of CC told me finally that Upgraded version is not available and I again need to visit service center for motherboard replacement. …..So I have now decided that I won’t visit to service center to again go through same things again and again….I gave up on HTC……I will purchase another handset…Might be Micromax, Spice or LAVA but not HTC….:)

                This is like cheating with customer……GOD SAVE HTC

                I was just checking HTC website and was not surprise at all looking at their un audited annual result which are as below…
                “HTC corporation (TWSE: 2498), a global leader in mobile innovation and design, today announces unaudited consolidated revenues for February 2012 totaled NT$20,294 million, down 36.79% year-on-year, while total unaudited consolidated revenues from January to February 2012 were NT$36,910 million, down 45.01% YoY”

                If HTC gave such products and service then surely HTC is going to make losses….

                HTC Smart — Mobile not functioning properly

                HTC Smart originally purchased on 15/05/10 from Silicon Telepoint, CR Avenue, Kol

                I started facing problem such as poor battery, SD card not readable at most of times.

                Mobile replaced on 07/06/10 by Vendor but vendor issued me Invocie with 15/05/10 as date.

                Again in new replaced mobile follwing problems are faced:

                a) SD card not readable at most of times.

                b) Photo taken from camera could not be open.

                Frrom last 1 month i am not been able to use my mobile. I want my money refunded.

                HTC Smart — Not working properly

                Hi this mahesh from hyderabad, A.P.(INDIA), I have buyed new HTC Smart mobile after 72 hours got problem with Audio out put I got a call from my friend but its just coming vibrate after that i insert that the ear phone jack, audio out is good but after 1 hour i got problem with internet explore in the mobile and its shown me that ERROR message i think in my life taken Worst decision, and i am requesting u all of you plz don't buy the HTC Mobile in India its bad services given to all of who facing the problem facing like me it s my opinion

                HTC Smart — improper working

                i have purchased this phone htc smart in oct 10 and three months after that it started giving me problems!!! to hell with htc... never go for it!!

                HTC — Bad Service On Warranty Product

                I have a HTC Wildfire S mobile handset. It gave some problems & I took that to the authorized service centre of HTC which is called Apex Solutions, Jalpai More, on the ground floor o[censored]CO Bank building. The took the phone & returned it to me after 3 weeks. They told me that they sent that to Kolkata. But they didn't gave me any legal document. Not even a job sheet. And the problem of the phone is as same as before. They are doing nothing without talking.

                HTC — Battery & Mobile problem

                HTC Desire 620G, Battery over heating & mobile charge is not staying.

                My mic is not working

                My HTC desire eye's Mic is not working while I am using it ear peace on call and its doesn't have the complaint on loudspeaker please resolve the problem as soon as earliest

                      I got a bug in HCT Wildfire S.
                      I have Nokia 2600 Classic. When i was a transfer my contacts Nokia to HTC by Bluetooth and when i select transferred contact to set my HTC contact book it was transfer fine But when i transferred multiple contacts one by one and after than when i select contact to set into my HTC Contact list Than those time all the contact is converted into last contact details.

                        I have purchased hTc desire S nine months ago from hTc authorized store, this handset has the problem of overheating, it's temperature going up to 46 c i.e very much than the abiant temperature. This handset given three times to service center., but the problem remains unresolved. The people from customer care are hepatic n very cool they don't have authority to make proper decision. And hTc don't have there own service centers they are given it to TVS group. so my suggestion think twice before baying hTc handsets.

                        HTC Desire S — piece of rubbish

                        I purchased a HTC Desire s for more then what the average Philippino person would earn in 6 months. Since i have had nothing but trouble with it. The phone was purchased in Manila and i have since moved to Davao city. Last Night the phone just stopped working. I took it to a number of HTC Dealers who told me i have to take it back to where i brought it from. Surely there must be someone in Davao who will handle this warranty claim on the piece of rubbish. E=Why the hell do they keep breaking down, and why is there no where around who will fix them.. This phone is nothing but a head ache.

                        HTC Desire S — Its Rubbish

                        I turn my phone on, the screen lights up white with the HTC logo, then goes black. I have had nothing but trouble with this dam phone since i brought it. No one in Davao wants to handle the warranty claim and im now stuck with a piece of rubbish that wont work.. Who in Davao city in Philippines is supposed to handle warranty claims?? and why doest this stupid phone keep breaking down?

                          I had purchased HTC Desire HD on 27th December 2010 from flipkart.com via order no OD[protected] .



                          Within 7 months of its usage, it developed a snag wherin the touch went completely dead. The same was repaired from HTC's service center in July 2011 (receipt attached).



                          Now, again the phone has developed a snag, wherein the entire phone has gone dead. I am surprised, that how can a high end phone bought for INR 27,500 can develop a snag within one year of its usage.



                          I have used a HTC mobile previosuly also, which lasted for good 3 years. Based on previous expereince o[censored]sing HTC mobile, I chose HTC Desire HD over iPhone.



                          I expect better products and service from a company like yours.



                          I request you to please repair the phone free of cost, as the product itself is faulty from the beginning.

                            Complaining here is of no use i[censored]r mobile is lost then nobody is gonna search it..
                            But i[censored]r mobile is stolen u can complaint FIR to nearby police station.U should come with ur original bill and box and can force policeman to get ur mobile traced.Becoz lost is due to ur negligence so they dont take effort for ur negligence.

                                Hi,

                                I have purchased HTC Chacha at Pune 2 months back. Since the time I got this HTC, daily I have battery problems. Battery gets heated every time I use it and when I charge. Battery backup only 12 hours. This product is under warranty and I want to replace with new HTC or the battery. I have send many emails to HTC but no one has responded.
                                Very worst customer service from HTC.

                                HTC — Battery Problem

                                I have purchased HTC Touch Diamond CDMA phone worth Rs.30, 000. From day one it has been a pain, first there was a mic problem after 3 visits and innumerous call those guys replaced my handset. In the new handset the battery was barely giving me a talk time of 1.5 hrs. I lodged a compaliant and never got any reply from HTC, one fine day they called me and asked me to take the handset to their Borivali service centre, Taipain Electronics. They took my phone, sat on it for a whole week just to let me know that there was no problem in the battery. After my constant visits, they were ready to replace the battery. But alas the new battery is all the more worst.

                                The costliest phone with this kind of a battery life and to make matters worst the customer care department has no knowledge what so ever about the products. It seems they have recruited a bunch of fools. Now the service centre guys seem to be ignoring my phone, they have started giving me lame excuses. I seriously need a solution for this.

                                HTC — Battery not working

                                I purchased the mobile on Feb15, 2009 from The Mobile Store, Patel Nagar, New Delhi. the battery backup is of only 1.5 hrs but the same has been written as 5 hrs in the manual. i visited the HTC service centre @ gurgaon, they replaced the battery, still the same problem is there.
                                my htc p3400 always be restarted after 2 or 3 minute use or when use internet

                                  I have purchased a new "HTC Diamond Varizon" - SIM less / CDMA mobile through "www.dealandyou.com", from Party "Infinity Global Inc", Hyderabad, A.P. on March 7th, 2012, which date i oredered. I received the mobile in good condition on 21st March 2012. As per Dealandyou website executives the mobile phone compatible or works with Reliance CDMA network. But I can't able to activate the same CDMA network on that mobile phone till date. I also try with concerned the Reliance officials, but they said we need RFS code to activate CDMA. But Dealandyou exicutives saying there is no RFS code available for the mobile, when i contact with them. I was so much irritated with this mobile purchase.


                                  So, please take my complaint with kind cooperation from your end.

                                    I bought a htc G1 3G android cellphone for Rs. 7198 (Order No. 3581839) from Naaptol.com after I saw their ad in NET to my mail ID. I also checked their sales page on the site and decided to buy it since I thought it was a good deal. However, to my utter astonishment, I found that the phone that was shipped to me with defect one i.e. GPRS connections not accepting, SMS is not going, clarity of the mobile is very bad, battery is discharging within 35 mts. I decided to ship it back.

                                      Refund and cancellation

                                      1. The amount will not be transferred to the respected retailer until the user receives the product he orders and changes his status to 'Delivered' on naaptol.com. If the delivery fails within the specified deadline, the order will be cancelled and the amount will be refunded to the user.

                                      2. If the user places the order and due to some reason (unexpected lack of inventory or any other reason) the retailer is not able to ship the product, the order will be cancelled and the amount will be refunded.

                                      3. If the seller reports order as shipped and delivered from their side and the user does not raise an alert within 2 days the money would be transferred to the seller.
