I bought HTC one X plus from Dubai last year, recently It got bumped and screen shattered. I gave this phone to Bangalore's HTC authorized service center in Rajaji Nagar. They asked me to deposit non refundable amount of 1850INR, They claim that they will send quotation from HTC main service center, Later after 4 days I had to call them for the Quotation. I received the mail with whopping amount of 27000INR to replace HTC one X plus screen. JOB ID 14INA[protected]. In that there are total 21 item needs to replace including battery, bezel screen and motherboard. I used the phone around a week and found there are no issues with mother board. After I called service center for 2 to 3 times and each time had a conversation around 1 hour. HTC is not authorized to do partial replacement for any device it seems. When I checked with my friends who almost uses HTC smartphone for more than 5 Years also have same kind of story or over quoting price when it comes for servicing Please help to get the exact policy of HTC and whether I can just make replacement except for Motherboard in my case.     I went to change my charger which is under warranty period, But the manager of that outlet said that this charger is duplicate. Thought I changed my charger 3 months before this incident from there only, he refused to change it and gave that reason about duplication. This was also happened with my friend with the display of his phone that was inserted duplicate by them as he gave them to change it.

      As i am a user of HTC desire VC from last 10 months, i am facing many problem in my mobile ie 1) Mobile switch off outomaticaly and a message come send errer report and it's happened 2-3 times daily. 2) Mobile is Over Heating while charging or using Internet. It's very risky even when there is a call. 3) Mobile screen was damaged and replaced earlier.         i faced problems from service of htc since one n half month .. first of all u should b know that what d exact meaning of "REPLACEMENT" if replacement is approved so y u sent those device as it is or by repairing.. i had seen very worst service frm customer care those satisfaction or promises but still no one overcome it n still those satisfaction givinig going on... i dont no how i interfere with u ..service center says that those problems not under them then why they opening those service center for giving worst service... since those period i had seen ticket no. creating problem, warranty crashed problem...n many more just like camera issue auto restart... ..its humble request to htc dat kindly plzzzz solve my problems regarding my device...

          I bought my HTC One m7 in June last year. The phone worked perfectly for 11 months but last month the camera started having pink screen issue due to over heating. I gave it to the service center they fixed the problem and returned my phone but one week later I was playing FIFA14 in my phone and suddenly the screen cracked in my hand due to heating of the phone and the service center executives are asking me to pay Rs12000 and saying that they don't cover physical damage and I can bet my life that it didn't fall it just suddenly cracked in my hand due overheating

            one year and one month before i got windows 8x phone in qatar now the warentty period fineshed before one month charger and phone also complaint .i give the service center in eranakulam on kerala then he told me mother board is complaint .what an htc waranty period is finished the phone aslo finished next time i dont belive htc and i told every friends dont take htc

              I have purchased HTC desire 600 6 months back and since starting device was not working properly has hanging problem, regular vibration. Due to which i have reached your AGRA service centre and deposited device for repairing dtd 13/05/2014, executive at your service centre told me that i will get repaired device in 7 days but i have
              not received device even not getting proper answer from your service centre and your Toll free no. I am experiencing worst service from htc. Kindly resolve my problem otherwise i will bound to file court case.

                Hello Team, I am using HTC-V phone from last July. After 3 months only the phone started restating itself and after restart it use to give a message "Your phone is restarted just now to update the send to HTC, please send click on send." I have sent mail multiple times but did not get a single response from HTC team. I am really very very upset from HTC team for not responding to my concern.                     I bought, HTC desire 310 dual sim on 30 march 2014 bearing IMEI no. [protected]. The problems found with the mobile set are as follows:- Complaint on dated 1st April 2014 over phone and 3rd April in Kolkata HTC 1. Head phone not working ; reference no. 14IND[protected] 2. Heating of set at top left side corner since first power on. Reply from HTC- it happens in all set. 3. No multitasking and home screen appears on its own, while playing games and browsing. RAM was reset by customer centre executive. 4. Not able to copy anything on external SD card. Reply from HTC- download any file manager app. None was resolved till date. Complaint on dated 6th May 2014 over Phone. 5. Proximity sensor not working properly. Screen light keeps on -off while talking 6. Phone memory is available (approx 800 MB), still not able to download/update and getting the message " insufficient storage space" . 7. Twice received the message " Battery is overheated, remove the battery" while navigation. Solution provided by HTC- reset the phone-------I was not able to backup the data, as phone is not responding to backup options. Some common problems/observation as follows for which HTC can further advise. 8. Touch screen is too sensitive and sensible to flip cover also, I need to manually press the power button every time to lock the screen. 9. After exiting from any application/browsing, grey screen with whitish curve on top of screen is observed until swiping the screen to home screen. It is not back to home screen automatically. 10. Auto brightness function is not working. With these discomforts of smartphone HTC Desire 310, I am comfortable in using this as normal phone for the amount paid (Rs. 12500). Hence request HTC to provide the solutions for above problems and make this phone value worth. Regards

                      HTC customer service centres are robbing me of my money!!! I've already spent too much on the repairs! Please help me out! I had bought an HTC One X+ last May (Huge mistake). The camera lens is not protected. Hence it gets too many scratches. The pictures in the phone are extremely blurred. When I asked for a replacement they said that the particular part was not under warranty and if I need to get it fixed I would need to give Rs.2500. I refused. But then, the screen broke and I had to give it for repair. I was charged Rs.8000. Now, I received a call from the service center telling me that my phone's motherboard has been damaged. Apparently, it has some "liquid" in it and would need to pay Rs.1600 to get the motherboard replaced! They say it is not under warranty. Now, my warranty is about to get expired next week. I need to know what is the earliest solution I can get to resolve this issue and get the motherboard replaced without having to pay an extra Rs.16000. I'm sure it must be under warranty and those people are just trying to extract more money from me!

                      I had the same experience 2wice. They just wanted to rob people. Today is the second and Last incidence. I have HTC Desire X. It has a this sheet that covers the connecting part of the body and the display. It is like a border of the display. That was not glued properly and it started withering away. I took it to service center to fix this issue.
                      Their response was shocking:
                      1. They don't sell that separately.
                      2. If I had to buy I need to change the display also and they charge 4500/- or nothing.

                      This is attrocious. HTC should do something about it.

                              Some visit to customer care centre were not recorded due to minor repair like software issue.
                              Within 11 months of purchasing there are so many issue in this hand set. I am working in private company and without mobile I cannot do my office work being a salesman.
                              Every time, customer care centre employee are saying that now handset is ok and it will work properly but after some, I am facing same issue.
                              Can company help/guide me in this regard on urgent basis?

                                I gave my desire x mobile at sri vinayaka electronics, 5-3-877/1, db.manohar estate, chirag ali lane, abids, hyderabad.(Tel[protected]. on[protected]. They said that it will take nearly 10-15 days to deliver the mobile in good condition. Now till date 26 days have been passed away and the mobile is still at the service center. When we contacted on even in person and on telephone just they go on saying so many meaning less reasons and more over the staff and the proprietor of the service center is very rude in response and not at all giving any response and very ir responsible to the customers. They not at all giving any respect and value to reply us.and some times even they are not replying to our calls.I am very pity to say that for a prestegious world wide brand like htc mobile, it is very shame full to have such a manners less staff at service centers. Sir, you should train your staff at service centers in a way how to respect and deal with the customers. The owner has hurted me a lot with his meaning less replies and manners less behaviour against me. So I request you to please look in to the matter and solve my problem soon.

                                Hi,
                                I have given my phone( IMEI no-[protected] htc desire 816)for service to the service center on 25th of july 2015 as the problem was it was not  dectecting the sim slot one and i was promised 5 days delivery, when i went to the service center 30th and waited for 2hours they told me to come again on 2nd then again when i call them on [protected] and [protected] the numbers given in the service report are never recived.I had to travel again to the service center leaveing my work and wait for another hour they told to come on 4th of july and now again i have been asked to come on 9th of july.Please take some necessary action towards this service center, they are not keeping up their word and the customers are being troubled hear, i have been missing on work and wasting a lot of time in your service center.

                                Please i request you to take some action i need my phone i dont have a spare phone iam useing my moms second sim slot .

                                  I brought HTC desire V handset in dec 2012. It has restarting problem right from first month. I visited services center 2-3 times, they just do formatting or software up gradation but problem remains same. Then I took wrote mail to HTC India stating to return defective piece and give me another one. They replied me saying that give this mobile to services center for last time and it will be solved. I trusted them and gave it for repairing. They changed motherboard and problem didn't occurred for 2-3 months. It started again, since rebooting was not so frequent initially, also i was quite busy with my work schedule i didn't visited service center. Now from last one month it is not at all turning on. I visited services center they are asking me huge amount to change motherboard. I got 12 months warranty and in just 15 month phone is useless with 5 times visit to service center. It is totally new from look but useless. This is worst brand i have ever seen, moreover so less support. They don't care of customer satisfaction. Thats why it is now sinking boat in mobile market. Friends, because of me 4-5 of my friends also brought HTC all are facing some or other problem.

                                    I was more than overwhelmed when I purchased my HTC DESIRE U (Dual Sim) somewhere by the end of October, 2013. If I have a bit of knowledge in calculation, it hasn't been a bit more than half a year and I had been forced to update the freaking software numerous times. When I had purchased this damn thing the IMEI number was [protected] and Serial Number was HT37HPG00110. I was facing crappy issues like automated reboots, continuous hang, calls used to get connected to the last dialed number automatically since day one. You can understand what a pain that would be. Now, for the bitter part of my story, I contacted the so called Support and they guided me through to the Service Center where some seriously talented guys (pun intended) screwed up and squeezed the remaining life of my handset. Those sick and weird technicians made me upgrade/update my software almost 8 times but that too wasn't fruitful. After they had squeezed up everything they asked me to change the Motherboard which I did and received the new IMEI number : [protected]. This forced drastic change didn't change anything and the problem still persists. I feel that it was the baddest day of my life when I purchased this phone and I am still repenting on my decision. I am still facing the problems with this and support is still asking me to go ahead and update the software. I don't want to go through these troubles any more. All I am requesting, rather say demanding is a replacement of my handset or pay me back the amount that I wasted by purchasing this handset.

                                      Myself Sachin Sasidharan from Trivandrum. I had been using a HTC One V since the last one and half years and couple of months back the phone fell off my hand accidentally and broke its touch panel. It was working without any hiccups though. Last month I handed it over to HTC's authorised service center Ascent Technologies, Mettukada, Trivandrum to get the touch panel replaced. I was told they need around 10 days to get it fixed. I am not one among those picky customers and I didn't keep bugging them about it, believing they will let me know once it's fixed. Last week I happened to give them a call just to check in and I was assured a return in a weeks’ time. That didn't happen either. So today I decided to call them and enquire but even after repeated attempts there was no answer to the phone calls so I decided to show up. I was made to wait for like twenty minutes to be informed that they will have it ready by the end of day today. I returned in the evening and was made to wait another fifteen minutes to be informed that there were some alignment issues with the touch panel they just fixed. So I will have to wait until Monday. That was more than enough for me to get out my frustration right there. I was about to do that when the lady told me that their phone is not working and all this was not intentional. I know it wasn't, if anything it was, it was their utter inefficiency to get across the simple message that my phone wouldn't be ready until Monday. I called them again on Monday and was told that I will have to wait until Tuesday evening. And till now I haven’t received any updates whatsoever. And my question is what is your criterion of choosing a particular person to authorise them with the repair and service of your gadgets. And how in heavens did these guys make the cut to be the authorised service centre of HTC phones in Trivandrum? All I can say is, these guys are nothing but a bunch of incompetent, inefficient and irresponsible individuals who doesn't care about their customers' time or concerns. I used to be a huge fan of your phones, I still am, but what this kind of service centres does is put your brand value in dire jeopardy. Next time I buy a phone I am going to make sure I buy something that has a responsible and dependable repair service team. And I am going to make sure it's not a HTC. Regards Sachin Sasidharan

                                        I am using HTC Desire 501 cell phone. Now its getting heat any time either I am using or not.Its charger also get heat in few minutes. The vibration option which generally available in every cell phone for consumer benefit. Consumer can use this option or not. But in this cell phone after disabling the vibration option from every where, it is not getting disable and on message notification it is getting vibrate. For these issue I visited to HTC collection center at Laxmi Nagar- New Delhi. The executive directly denied that vibration problem could not be resolved and for another problem he said that there is problem with charger also but he can not submit cell phone with the charger in one time. Only 1 thing can be repaired in one time. After 1 thing get repaired then I can submit another item. If I deposit my cell phone and it take 5-7 working days to get repaired then I have to submit charger and again it will take 5-7 working days. It means the problem which could solve in first 5-7 days would take 15-20 days. For this I have to visit service center 4-6 time. Which is not acceptable by the customer. Because of this I have to waste money, time, etc.. If customer pay high amount to but cell phone the he expect that good service he can avail if any problem arise. I observed in the market that HTC company has stop its desire 501 model production and had recall the stock because of technical issue in it. But what about those customers those are using this cell phone. Is there any solution for them from company side.

                                        After the ticket no 14INCW16ENA000375 the mother board was replaced by the company. But my problem did not resolve and again visited to service centre and also contacted on their mail id. He again submitted my cell phone and new ticket was created i.e. 14INA[protected] on dated 22/4/2014. I received my cell on 24/4/2014 by replacing mother board again. It mean its mother board has been changed 2 times. But problem is not being resolved. In this first 3 months mother board has been replaced 2 times. I am not able to understand how many times i need to submit my cell to resolve the issue. I am getting revert from the company after 2 days and they are not replying on chain mail. Every time they send new mail with mail id [protected]@htc.com.
