Regarding complaint for misbehaviour by g. M sales (Mr. Robin) of m/s shivaang hyundai-bhukrawali road, aligarh-u. P-202001
Dear sir;
I am writing this letter to you under great mental depression which was caused because of misbehaviour of hyundai staff during purchase of my new car - i-20-sports – malbm51blkm722165, dated:[protected] at hyundai dealer - m/s shivaang hyundai - village bhukrawali, g. T road-aligarh-202001 (U. P) via invoice no. H[protected]
On the day of delivery i insist to sales person assigned to me to at least have one meeting with their gm so that i can talk about any negotiation if possible (Which almost every customer do at the time of final payment).
As right now i am not able to walk without support (I am using elbow crunch stick to walk because of knee surgery) i request my sales person to call him in reception area for my ease if possible. After few minutes he came to me ask me to come in his cabin.
The moment we start conversation at of sudden i saw change in his attitude and i feel he is simply waiting for my rtgs confirmation and he knows that once he got money the whole game is in his hands.
The main reason behind his anger is that i had not purchased insurance policy from their agency and get it done from outside.
He started shouting me about his company sop’s and even threat me that if i had purchased policy from outside they will not provide me benefits of hyundai warranty on parts, on which i asked him about how it matters on warranty (Because practically there is no relation between warranty and insurance provider), but things starts going more worse from this when he even raised question mark on discount given to me on corporate behalf.
He starts accusing me for working in small company and told me that i am not eligible for this discount however in your case i am giving this from his pocket.
This type of rough attitude is quite unacceptable in service industry.
I have no hesitate in saying that if this is hyundai service culture then this leads company to downfall.
My sincere question is that i had declared my company name to them near about den days before and also tell them that i am getting this corporate discount from nrl hyundai (Dealership at agra-u. P), then why are they making issue of such things at the time of delivery when my whole family were present their for joyful moment.
That should be checked earlier by them and if am not eligible as per their criteria then they should tell me before so that i can go to another dealer who i ready to provide me the same.
Making issue of such thing at the time of vehicle delivery is so annoying and pathetic.
After getting insulted by him i came out from his cabin and even from reception area and waits for delivery of my car on the agency gate office as i did not want to be more upset from his rude attitude, but again he came out from his showroom to entrance gate and start arguing with me again by saying he is gm of ford also (As shivaang ford is also is of same owner) and tackle people like me on daily basis and again humiliated me in front of my family members.
Upon his instructions my car delivery was rescheduled to last despite of my medical condition which doesn’t allow me to stay their long.
As the time is about 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm, everyone in showroom was in great hurry to move out and no one even find important to at least describe basic features, facilities, functioning demo, maintenance etc. To me and all this was done on the guidelines of showroom g. M (Mr. Robin)
In this letter i would like to clear you that the sales persons assigned to me-mr. Faisal naeem was a very polite, helpful & gentle person and i have no issues with him but all this was done on the instructions of gm (Mr. Robin)
Before delivery they force me to sign feedback form in which they insist me to give high score to them.
The whole joy of buying new car was turned into a bad experience as i was humiliated in front of my family members, relatives.
I also tried to log complaint on feedback call received from hyundai on 3rd august-19 but again the concern person told me to first give feedback then only they will provide complaint number to me and once my feedback survey got complete he told me that he will call back to me as my voice was not clear to him and he never turns up.
By this letter i have some question in my mind and like to have your insights on same:
1. Is this is a right customer dealing practice which is followed by your dealers..??
2. Don’t you have any grievance redressal systems for customers? As many time i asked this to them but they don’t reply.
3. After this whole incident i was in low mental state because i had never face such humiliation in my entire life and if had taken some hard step then who will be responsible after me for bread of my family??
4. Purchase of insurance policy is a total discretion of customer and according to latest irda guidelines car dealer/ company cannot force/compel to buy policy from their house or deny to provide all warranty & insurance related facilities to the customers, then why this unethical practice is followed in your company and why should i not complain to irda regarding this..??
I had also share my concern to my legal advisor and we had decided to book you under section 498 of ipc for mental harassment & humiliation.
Moreover i am also seeking damage in form of monetary compensation of rupees five lacs from your side for defamation by hyundai employee (Mr. Robin) under section 499 & section 500 of ipc.
You are requested to kindly reply for my letter within 7 days from receiving my mail to you or else i will understand that you have nothing to say in this context and also agree for all above statements so that i will start legal proceedings.
