I have purchased “i10 Magna” car from Sanjay Hyundai, Pune. This car was delivered to me in the second week of January 2008. My car has developed two faults in less than three moths o[censored]se, when the car has not even run 3000 km. These are obviously design problems or serious quality issues in Hyundai i10 car.
1. On April 07, 2008 major accident was averted when my car suddenly stopped in the middle of the road, when I was negotiating a ‘U’ turn. I was later told by the mechanic, of Sanjay Hyundai that the left side axle had come off.
This is a serious problem which can cause injury to life and property of driver/passenger. I consider my self lucky that no fast moving vehicle banged into me when the car stopped suddenly in the middle of the road.
I fail to understand how a new car that has not even run 3000 kms can develop such a serious problem. This clearly shows that there is a design problem in the model i10 or quality problem with the particular vehicle supplied to me.
2. Another minor problem cropped up within one month of purchase of the car. Wiper motor of the vehicle suddenly started and stopped, on its own, without switching on the wiper. Wiper motor had been replaced to solve this problem.

Hyundai i10- Safdarjung Hyundai Service — Poor Service from Serrvice Center

I have puchrchaed Hyndai i10 car dated 24th Aprill 2008. This was my second car and earlier i was holding Maruti 800. I was told that i will be getting Rs 10000 bonus in place of selling my maruti and becoming a Hyndai customer. I have requested the amount to be adjusted in the deal price wherewas i was informed they follow the payment by cheque later which will come in 3 months. This is almost 6 months now i am follwing with the sales person and everytime give a commitment that the same will be given in 1 week. I really do not understand when they have to sell a car they are after the customer but once it is sold they do not give any importance and service is very poor after Sale.
Request somebody to help me out in this case.

Hyundai — Be careful while servicing

Hyundai Company is good company. But dealers are very bad, fraud, cheater of innocent people. Hyundai must secretly get a suggestion from every customer and take a strong action against dealer's and also Hyundai must sale the spare parts in the market through a distributor, retail outlet directly to the customer’s. There is a much number of fraud is happening in the service only. Then only Hyundai must alive in Indian market otherwise they will face disaster and washout from Indian automobile industry.

Customer should return back the replaced parts from service why means the staffs first give estimation to replace the good parts and they put a bill for that. Then they didn’t replace the parts but they get a parts from inside shop and sale outside. so be careful.

Hyundai — New i10 Stopped working on day 1

Dear Sir

I purchased a i 10 Astra Automatic from Shrenath Hyundai on 18th April 2009. Within two hours of delivery and a drive of 100 kms. the car stopped working. The Attitude of people, be at dealer end or hyundai customer care is not customer freindly. I am still waiting for some action on their part. I fail to understand how a car on day 1 malfuntions inspite of so called best of the QC process.

I fully agree with this. My car MH12EX6370 developed the same steering locking problem. The car stopped suddenly in the middle of the road. Fortunately the car was not running at more than 20 kmh This could have proved fatal if the car was running fast. There is serious design problem with i10 version. Would be car owners... my advice is stay away from Hyundai 'i' series of vehicles.
Yes, I do agree with the various complains. I have purchased i10 on last week of May08 from Superon Hyundai, Gurgaon and less than 11 month the cluch plate and pressure plate damaged. This is realy a problem poor quality and proper checking of different part of the car. The dealer is charging Rs.7700/- for that. I have lodged my complain No.[protected] to the cutomer careof Hyundai on 30th April-09 but no response received till date.
That happened to me too. Then i found a gun in the glove box. When i complained to the dealers i was filed for an FIR and the next thing i knew i was in jail. Now my wife hates me and my children are cocaine addicts. My three year old injects himself. We are broke and my wife sucks **** for a living. If you are interested you can 'pick her up' at _____ ______, India. Hyundai i10 ruined my life.
Moral of the story people! : Never look in the glove box of a hyundai i10...and watchout for AIDS.

i too have faced a serious prob regarding hyundai i10 power steering.
The power steering is giving problem suddnly and it has become heavier than a rock...
The Hyundai people says that i10 is facing this problem and they are receiving lots of complaints and now i have to get it replaced.
So, beware...be4 buying...go thru the reviews, , , its better to enquire with those who are driving hyundai i10 for more than an year..coz that's when the problems starts poping up.

My Hyundai is only 3 months old and I have already developed EPS problems! I took it back to the dealer for the first time a few days ago, who I thought fixed it, but the problem came back 2 days later.

i purchased my i 10 in december 2007 in chennai and has been running only chennai. Two weeks back we noticed uneven wear on the front-tyres. when checked up, tie-rod end assembly problem was identified and replaced. Then there was knocking sound, and this time identified as steering box problem. I was told that since water has entered the steering box, the parts have rusted and giving this proble. How come water enters into a steering box?

Cars are bound to run even during monsoon days and wet conditions.

My vehicle is stopped now and Steeringn box is yet to be replaced.

One of my collegues in my office has also bought i10 in 2008. While driving on high way few months back, his power steering got locked and was replaced by hyundai subsequently.

even i faced a problem with the eps. had it replaced. my car couldnt function for over a month as it ran even worse then a fiat. now anothe problem has cropped. my pollution check cant be done as they say that your rpm doesnt remain stable and hyundai refuses to acknowledge the proble. anybody else facing this problem in their car?

Just completed 3003 Km of run tomorrow. Yesterday 03 Nov I faced a very serious problem. I was stuck in the 5th (reverse) gear and it was not getting out of it. I was on the way at around 10 9:30 PM in night. When I try to call the emergency service they even not pick up the phone. I was helpless on the highway, I left the car at the near by petrol pump.

One person comes up 11 Am in morning next day. He was not able to sort the problem at all. He is trying to blame that I have not put the gear properly. Guys please have a look before buying these hundai products.

I was one among the few people to have booked the i10. The car has been giving problems right from the day of purchase.There is terrible rattling in the car and everytime i have to send it for a service which the techs say that the screws and bolts have to be tightened. its done only 16000 kms and feels like it has covered over a lac of kms.Hyundai people never follow up the problem and worse they will never get it repaired or replaced in the warranty period. Thats the trick the koreans play with we indians. We are all fools to purchase their products! Would recommend never to buy a Hyundai.

FX HUNDAI / i10 Car — worn out tyre

MRF TYRES (155/80R13 ZFC TL)
My Car runnin only 25000 KM and the tyres are completly wornout and not in useable conditions.

Yours Company Technical Service Engineer Mr. Suman Das, from Faridabad, has also inspect the said tyres and he is agree and declare the sum manufcaturing defect in the said tyre, and he assures me the said tyres has been chang by the company. But after one month the problum is still pending.
He say I have post your complaint in our Hed Office but no respons.

So kindly allowe the replacement the said tyres.

I have purchase i10 on 2nd Feb 2010 just by using right gear smooth gear shifting, correct speed no harsh breaking it is very fine and superb car I like it a lot.

I bought an i10,Registration no KL-13-T- 9709,on 29-10-09 from K T C Automobiles(p) Ltd,Kannur.Though I have submitted all documents required for claim settlement within 3 weeks , I have not received Rs 15000/-

Hyundai i10 — Sold used car as new

I purchased a hyndai i10 automatic car. They sold me a used car as new. When the problem started arising with in a week of buying i checked the car and found it was owned by some one else before. Neither the dealer nor the hyndai customer care is giving any positive response. Hope you can help.
I bought a Hyundai I10 in April 2009 and since I bought this car I'm having problems with it. I'm sick and tired of taking my car to the different branches to get it fixed. I bought a new car why do you have to pay alot of money to drive a faulty car. They couldn't wait to sell the car and now I have to sit with it. I phoned the saleslady with in a month's time when I heard a noice everytime I drive over a speedbump of ditch in the road. She told me to take the car in as soon as I get my number plates, that was still outstanding. A Month later and there were more problems and I had to take my car in again. Today my car is back again for repairs and this after they already replace the radio, adjust the brakes, replace the clutch and pressure plate and replace the heater box. How the hell is it possible that this car couldn't be replaced? Never ever in my whole life I will recommend anybody to buy a Hyundai it's the worst after service that you can get and when there's alot of problems like my one they doesn't want to replace the car at all they feel nothing for your inconvenience. The only words they use is bring it in then we can have a look and fix it. I feel this car was suppose to be replaced with all the faults and all the inconvenience that I had to go threw. Last night I was stuck in traffic to take the car into Hyundai and I feel they are suppose to collect and deliver the vehicle in a case like this. Good luck if you bought a Hyundai hopefully you don't have a lot of problems like I do!!!
I purchased an i10 in September last year, and I must be honest, I have never had a single problem with the vehicle.

I have travelled over 8000km already, and everything is still running exactly perfectly as the first day.

I am not sure whether the i10 models exported to South Africa are different from the ones you are buying, but to be honest this is the only time I have ever heard complaints about the car, and I am absolutely shocked at how many are on this website?!!!

I can understand why you guys are frustrated, but seriously maybe they are defective models or the ones produced in a specific time period encountered a manufacturing fault...

Admittedly, Hyundai should sort the problems for you guys immediately, but I would just like to let a potential reader know that not all of the i10's or Hyundai cars are bad, like some of the previous commentors have implied.

Be grateful you didnt end yp with a Toyota with a sticking accellerator! :P
what about i10 automatic model 2010 ?? many people told me automatic transmission is not good in 1000 CC car is this correct or shall i buy a manual one ??
I have been driving i10 Era for last 17 months (since Sep 2008) and have not faced any problem so far, touchwood! A very smooth and low maintenance car. I am surprised to see so many dis-satisfied customers!
i'm also a sufferer of non-receipt of exchange bonus as well as corporate discount even after a period of 09 months from purchase (July, 2009) of i-10 magna from goyal hyundai, jalandhar.
hey guys, i have i10 model 2008, i am facing the same problems of the EPS, even i removed the battery and plug out the control unit, but also nothing changed, i am still in the warranty but i hate that, anyway wish u all safe
I purchased the car in June 2008 and didn't face any problem with the car till date except with the EPS. After my car completed 21k km, on the main road of Hyderabad my EPS got hard rock. Immediately I rushed to Hyundai service center and got it replaced with a new one within a day's time. It was a surprise for me as I thought Hyundai vehicles will be better with zero complaints.

Of course, my car was with in first two years warranty time. I was charged mere 160 Rs for replacement. However, being afraid of problems in future, I got the car warranty extended for 5 years. I shelled out 10k for this. Hopefully, this should cover most of the problem areas in the car.
i Got i10 frm KUN HYUNDAI Chennai on July 2008. There was no complaints till 15000Kms aft that my car started to Vobling like anything the whole car was shaking while move i was not able to touch even 40KMPH ... When i went to Kun Service In Mount Road they said every thing is perfect & the problem is on road cond..
I was driving with the same for 8 months.. This time i tuk the servicr engineer in my car for a ride then he came to know abt the problem.. After checking he said that the (MRF TYRES) fixed in my car was defected.. When i asked for replace he said already your car has done 21000Kms its not able to replace it and u hav to pay for it. But u note down I got this complaint From 15000Kms. On their fault they are blaming on us..

hyundai motors dealer — dealer not providing extended warranty after collecting money

i had purchased a i10 car from one of the Hyundai motors dealer/ garve motors in pune in jan 2010 .i bought the car with the EXTENDED WARRANTY (three years term) from the dealer .At the time of delivery the salesguy promised that the extended warranty papers shall be posted at my residence within the next three months , i kept quiet , thinking this to be the normal procedure .On not recieving the warranty papers i kept calling the salesguy who started to avoid me . Finally on not getting the proper responce and waiting for more than six /seven months i called up the call centre of Hyundai, where i lodged my complaint twice , ref no[protected]-35128886 , wherein till date i am still hearing that the matter is under process.
What really baffles me is that M/s garve motors is a new dealer of Hyundai in pune , if this kind of after sales service one gets after spending lacs of ones hard earned money then i think when the bussiness cycle gets in reverse from the present it will be difficult for such MULTINATIONAL companies to survive and same for the dealer who is trying to make a fast buck . I MAY PREFER/ADVISE A TATA/MARUTI PRODUCT NEXT TIME

i have purchased a i10 sports in February 2009 and am a satisfied customer. however one thing I would like to add that I am not getting a proper average of the vehicle as per the claim of the company. I stay in Nasik and have purchased from panchvati hyundai. I have already made several complaints regarding average but the same could not be sort out. some body advice.
I have purchased my i10 in Dec-2008 and have done around 16, 000 kms. So far apart from the wiper motor replacement my car has been a pleasure to drive anyday. Gearbox is great. Good pickup much better than maruti 800 as against the other gentleman has pointed out. I drive with AC on all the time and have never faced pickup problem, you have to be in the right gear at the right speed thats it. My advice to future buyers is do not go by baised coments, please take a test drive and get an opinion from people whom you know who owns one of these cars. Also service is very good from trident in bangalore where i service it regularly.
I agree about very poor service by technicians hyundai hire very low level technicians they cant solve problem. i purchaged from bharat hyundai bikaner rajasthan i face same problem that ask up some people.

As I am using the vehicle i10 since last two year on 6th october 2010. We have send the vehicle for repair work . After visiting many time they have handed over the vehicle on 20th october to us . But as soon as we get out the showroom the car has stopped we immediatly contract to FX Hundai the have told us that due to weaking of battery the vehicle is not taking start . We bring new battery but vehicle never start . We have called two three person by pussing bring the vehicle back Fx Hundai showroom .They have told us to come tommrow .But since than we had visit many times but nor they have rectify the vehicle and not they have give us any satisfactury reply . We are facing many embrasing position . As we had already used two hundai vehicle (santro car in 2000, and viva car in 2006) .But never faced this problem type of service from hundai shoroom . So please look in to this matter and rectify our vehicle as soon as possible . As Iam already spend 20000 Rs amount taxi in this preiod . This is a very serious problem . So please see it very urgently . Because it spoil your reportation and decerease our faith on hundai vehicle .

i-10 sports — defective steering

i bought the i-10 sports car in the month of may-10 and right from the begning i am facing the problem with its stearing and every time the service centre of hyundai lagoon ,bhagalpur, is answering my question that why i am in trouble regarding the techenical defects within 4 months that.....its manufacturing defects? even i have not received my checque regarding the loyality bonus as 15 thousand , in lieu of selling maruti zen - number-BR-1Q-0009 to purchase hyundai-i-10

i have purchased a new car i10 sportz one month back and it occurred a serious problem where the clutch plate has burnt . Hyundai service is charging to replace a new one. how? It has just completed 1500 km
i got my i10 magna irde 2008 model from kaho hyundai, dimapur, nagaland. my is jst 2yrs old n ol of a suden my EPS went boom. now i bet its harder den tryin 2 steer a truck...i complaint n da response i recieved ws"its an electronic part so we cnt guarantee netin...da main company's in korea..v cnt repair since its very xpensive 2 bring da repairing machine from korea..so u hv 2 change da whole set including da ETAC"its gna cost me 30280 rupees...are dey sayin dey cnt guarantee consumer's safety ol da while providing a faulty a system..hyundai is taking da consumers for granted..plz stop buyin hyundai cars..sell ur car i[censored] hv 1..u r bound 2 face a prob or 2

The same thing happened to me with Garvey motors in Pune. The sales guy was Shambaji P (not sure of the spelling). The warranty info was never received. Then I chased them, they opened the file and showed that no warranty was purchased. The Shambhaji sales guy don't work there anymore. They cheated and stole about 10, 000 from me.

Be aware of GARVE MOTORS in Pune
Exactly same situation here. Garve motors in Pune is run by thieves who con people money. Especially the extended warranty crap.
i done 32, 000 km in my hyundai i10 sportz, till now i don"t have any problem. its a cute car.
Its been horrible experience with I10, I love to Drive it,
But the way the Hyundai after sales service is its very terrible & horrible,

My I10 is just 5 month old, 5000 km driven & Driven by only me ( single person ). 15 days ago service engineer of Sharayu Motors was driving my car with me ( test drive prior to 2nd free service ) on Thane-Belapur which is flooded with huge traffic of heavy vehicle & my cars tie rod end failed ( Broke in 2 piece ), I am fortunate to be alive to write this complain & also fortunately we were near the service station, so car was sent to service station.

The front right tyre was totally worn out, tie end rod failed, after further analysis the now Hyundai guys communicated me that shock ups are failed which needs to be replaced.

In the above case mentioned by R.Natarajan atleast they replaced tie rod & other thing under warranty in my case they are asking me to claim for insurance & reason given by them is i have bumped my car in some Pothole.

I don't understand why should i claim insurance.

Can any one help me to how to tackle.I am proceeding with the customer care but i don't feel its worth.

Hyundai i10 — millage

Recently we purchased an i10 car. The millage is very less 2 service is already over still we r getting 10. The price of the car is very high millage is very less. Now a days most of the customer looking for millage because of the fuel price inflation. When we purchased i10 car they offered millage 18. We have innova also that is getting 13 with ac, the advantage of that car is 10 peoples can travel.
I am getting a clakering noise from the engine at low RPMs. It's a hyundai i10 auto and has done about 2000km. The sound is as if you are driving on a very slow speed and have got 4th gear selected on a manual transmission car. anyone faced a similar problem.

My suggestion is that I10 is a very good car. BUT DON'T PURCHASE ANY CARS FROM TRIDENT HYUNDAI. The service is poor. They commit some thing & they will never stand on their commitment. They will be very good with any one till the time you book you car from them. Once booked, They will not even turn back at you & rather you should be at their back. Please... Please..Please.. don't buy troubles by purchasing from Trident Hyundai.

I had a major problem in my hyundai i10, 33000 kms passed my streering box has to be replaced as i was getting a noise in while the car reaches the 30 km speed on the pullup. It cost me around 7000 rs, This is because the car has a major design problem.

hi sir/madam my self Ram Babu Gupta. i have purchased i10 sports (mp07cc0233).i have complaine towards the service center of gwalior because their has a mechenic who changed the oil, body parts without any information & this is not including in bill.after asking who told you do this so he said that ok dont pay money for parts but you have to pay for oil changing money i will manage oil changing payment this on my be half next time (without any cost).so it will create a cheating, disloyalty towards company & service center also.please ensure me that they will give me proper servise.

I have done Ist service of car in due time. I complaint to company that my car not given godd average of fule. They call my cat to check,but I can't get. I call them again but I am not satisfy with reply of the company. My car central locking system is not working properly. I complaint they repair but not done well

Hyundai — dealer's seriousness

kundan hyundai showroom has taken rs 44000 thousand from us and still have not fix our cars problem.Today again my cars engine temperature got to high level and it stopped working .Now i have decided not to purchace any hyundai product and also tell my friends not to purchase.i will spoil the name of company.

Above all of this i faced a very major pblm..
one night suddenly my HYUNDAI I10 MAGNA catched fire near the back left indiator light..the whole bumber was burnt and a very serious problem of car burst is avoided as we noticed it on time..
Pick of the car is very very very bad, Hyundai has to do something on this front
I am using hyndai i10 Kappa (2010) model. When I first booked the car, the sales man show me a model which is readily available for registration. When I looked at the engine hood, it was so dusty. I suspected that it could be an used one. So I told him that I don't need this and expect a new piece. He agreed and said then it may take another 4 days to get another piece. But he did not do like that and delivered the same defective car. It used to raise (RPM) a lot when you press break. Beware of noting the chasis number...

Also I had steering noise which can be easily noted when you move your vechicle from the parking. I went to them and he told that entire assembly has to be replaced. But after arguments, they changed only the yoke plug and the problems seems to be fine now.

Beware of part replacements. If you are innocent they take good parts from your vehicle. Till my 30000 km service I did not have any gear problem. But as soon as I got back the vechile after that service, I started noticing that 2nd gear is not engaing properly. I feel that they have replaced from my car to the favouring customer.

When there is a problem, do not leave your vehicle for more time. Even for simple oil service they will ask time till the next day. That is basically to get good parts from your vehicle. Some times they even say if you need delivery today then we can't wash as we have more cars. I still accept and get my car immediately on the same day to avoid such issues.

    This is to bring a matter into your consideration that i have purchased a Hyndai Santro Car from Bharat Hyundai-Bikaner on 30th August2007 under exchange offer & corporate discount. I have been committed that you will get refund of Rs4000/- as Corporate Discount & Rs10000/- for exchange discount & same was committed by Mr. Rajendra Kumar Gupta, Owner, M/S Bharat Hyundai, Bikaner. Furthermore, he told me that I will get the refund of Corporate Discount when i will submit my Appointment Letter of Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd. I have submitted the same & got Rs4000/- in Feb-08. I was supposed to get Exchange Discount when i will submit the RC Copy of both my Old & New Car(As per terms & Conditions of Exchange Policy)( Old Vehicle No. GJ1-3784, New Vehicle No. RJ18-CA-1242). I have submitted the same in Dec-07, but still i havent got the refund.

    I have called so many times to Mr. R.K. Gupta owner of M/S Bharat Hyundai & in his office. But, there was no response from their side. I am not at all satisfied & annoyed with the behaviour & working style of the dealer & company as well. I hope i will get positive response atleast from your side. I urge you to give the solution for the same.

        Last month my santro xing met with an accident, as it was less than a year old and for mental satisfaction i chose to get it repair from the company though everone suggested they'l charge you unnecessarily, the left side rammed into the pavement due to which the axle n suspension broke and tyre almost went inside the body.
        after two days survey happened and they said axle, rim and suspension would be changed and tyre is ok.

        I left my car at the company(hans hyundai, moti nagar) for like 10-12days as i went of town, when i came back my car according to them was repaired i paid the bill n took it to one of my very old car mechanic to check if it was repaired properly, obviously any customer would like to cross check and i was shocked to see the tyre that they installed had a 4inch long cut inside, gap between left tyre n body was less than the gap between right side's tyre n body, so he checked n said that the impact was so bad that even chasis shrinked.
        The new rim that they installed was absoultely full of scratches and when i asked there agent he said company supplies in such condition we cant do any thing about it.
        This is the service hyundai promises.
        Worst thing to happen was
        when i took the car back to the service center and the engineers and the agent did nothing but tried to fool me, kept me waiting for 5hrs though the car was checked in half n hr and when the agent came out with the car from there garage, said very confidently, "Lijiye sir ho gayi apki gaddi repair" and imagine the gap was same they did nothing as they understood nothing as to what really happened and why the gap still exists, in there own words.
        now if its the chasis which is gone bad, then iam going to bear the expenses plus a new tyre as the insurance bill has already been passed.
        Its a suggestion to anyone who is reading this to better choose your old mechanics rather than companie's they'l only fool you and will charge you more.
        I regret buying a hyundai car and chosing hyundai to get my car repaired, i should have gave it to any other mechanic.

        Its been found that water enters inside the car during rainy days. The exact place is driver side between seat and pedals. Three times Popular hyundai cleared it by saying “its because of the leaf, dust and mud particles that is been wiped from the windscreen is deposited on the channel which is meant to flow the drain water”. But, after the three occasions, its found that the problem was not being solved. Now I took my vehicle to a local workshop and they found it after several experiments. It was a manufacturing defect.

          Sir,
          We hope you will read through this mail with extreme care as we are giving the details of the present scenario of the complaint about my car mp3 player
          I have purchased a santro xing(XOBS3) bearing reg no:- KL 39/4334 from POPULAR HYUNDAI at VYTILLA, COCHIN on 3/1/2007 under a package inclusive of a mp3 player.
          Recently I noticed that, while playing I found the songs are slipping. On 8/3/2008 I admitted the car for third free service in the above workshop. I complained this matter to the inspecting officer. They directed us to get repaired the set from outside. So we approached a mechanic outside. On removal of the set from the car he told me that “You Are Cheated “ and the set is a fake one of pioneer and hence it cannot be repaired as parts are not available
          So today(11/3/2008) I approached the popular Hyundai authorities at vytilla to know wheather it the set can be replaced or not .But I felt that they are avoiding me .
          At the time of purchase I was told by the sales executive that this is a pioneer set (and exactly looked like an original one). I was shocked when the mechanic reported me that this is not an original set. As the offer was made by prestigious and renowned Hyundai motor company, I never believed that I will be supplied with a low quality, low priced product in the name of a free offer.
          So I request you sir to replace the above substandard mp3 player at an earliest date . Awaitnig your reply

            Dear Sir,

            This is to bring into your kind attention that I purchased a new Santro Xing from Dass Garage – Abu Lane – Meerut on 26/10/2007.

            Since delivery of the vehicle I am facing problem in gear shifting and pickup of the car.

            Many a times the gears are not placed in a proper position during gear (especially reverse gear & first gear) which results in huge noise from the gear box.

            I contacted Dass Garage for the same and they simply greased the mechanical parts that were of no use (pickup problem still existed in the car) and when contacted them on phone they simply asked me to get my car checked else where as they do not have trained employees for that.

            As this is a mode of transportation for me and my family on high ways such type of mal functioning can result in some severe calamity to me & my family.

            You are requested to kindly help in getting these problems fixed.

              I have purchased a car, Santro GLS from Trident Hyundai, Shimoga in the month of October-2007. They have promised me through email that they are going to give me special discount of Rs. 4000.00 meant for teachers. But till today even after repeated requests nothing has been materialised. I am thinking of filing a suit against them.The person who promised this never responded to my repeated emails and telephones.

                I bought a Hyundai Tucson in Mar 2006. Until Nov 2007, I was extremely happy with the vehicle.

                In Dec 2007, I noticed a significant loss of pickup. Around Christmas, I drove to Ooty and the car could not climb the mountain, even when I floored the accelerator!

                Repeated visits to the Trident Hyundai service station in Bangalore produced no results other than "everything is fine with your car sir"!

                In Jan, I started observing the engine was no longer quite and smooth and there was a distinct clatter during idling. I had the vehicle "serviced" by Trident Hyundai with no improvement. On the contrary, by Feb the clatter had become worse. Another visit to Trident Hyundai and the response was "all diesel engines will have clatter"!

                Now I am left out on a limb. Clearly the engine is deteriorating day by day. Instead of diagnosing the problem and fixing it, Hyundai service center just stands by, clueless. I have written a complaint letter to Hyundai, but their response is so sluggish, my engine will, in all probability, be dead by the time they react.

                I sincerely regret having purchased a "high end" vehicle from Hyundai, and more than regret the money I have thrown down the drain with this vehicle!

                bought my 2006 tucson brand new and babied it-driving only for special occasions. at 11, 000 mi and on vacation i had to purchase 2 new rear tires. my tires were COMPLETELY BALD! took it to the dealer in ohio. said it MAY need an alignment, and that the alignment MAY show if it has a defect in the frame causing such wear. Oh, the fla tire dealer did put the new ones on the front, and the original front ones on the back. by the time we drove to ohio---THEY now have terrible wear. the dealer refuses to pay for the alignment to see if it is the frame. so much for their 60, 000 5year wonderful warrenty.
                now i must ALSO pay for an alignment...to see if an ALABAMA younge un had a yahoo night before putting my car together wrong causing a problem.------THAT statement by my dealer!!!
                so now i am afraid to drive my car i was at one time, in love with.
                big business as usual.
                two relatives bought cars here thanks to me.
                they will not buy in the future! do not wonder where the jobs went America!

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                I have purchased a Hyundai Tucson, it is a 2006 Model and i am the Second owner . I have been Driving this Vehicle for about 18 months. I Drive and Service My car in CHENNAI>

                I have been Servicing my Car With the Following Service Center in Chennai:
                Kun Hyundai
                TAFE ACCESS Hyundai
                Hyundai Motor Plaza

                I have Repeatedly Given Complaints of a Sound arising from the front region of the car when the Steering is turned to and when the vehicle moves from stationary to movement.

                I have given with the same complaint all the above service centers, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND RECTIFY THE SAME,

                I drive my car with my wife and one 4 Year Old Child and one 3 month old infant.

                EVERY TIME THE CAR HAS GONE FOR THE SERVICE I HAVE BEEN BILLED FOR VARIOUS PARTS BUT NOT THE IDENTIFICATION OF THIS PROBLEM.

                the last service was done with hyundai motor plaza chennai, i have stated this complaint and i was told that it was rectified and billed for about Rs.25, 000 also, but the problem still persists.

                I have undergone this problem with every service center and i am left with mental turmoil and agony, Because of this issue i have not been able to drive the car long distance and also not even in the city with confidence.

                I need a solution here for this problem, I repent everyday for buying such a bad car, i have driven about 32000 km only and i have faced problems all along.
                Now that i am fed up with this nonsense o[censored]nder qualified service team with all dealers and Hyundai itself, My family is at risk if they travel in this vehicle.
                Is it that the service centers have been delaying in the repair so that the warranty period is over and then they can bill ENORMOUS AMOUNTS from a defect from the manufacturer..?

                THERE IS ALSO A REPEATED PROBLEM WITH THE SERVICE, MOST OF THE TIME THEY COME BACK WITH SAYING THAT PARTS NOT AVAILABLE THAT TOO FOR A BREAK PAD..? ISN'T THE SAFETY OF THE PASSENGER COMPROMISED..?

                THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON..? HAVE I NOT PAID A FORTUNE FOR THE SAFETY MEASURES IN THIS CAR..?

                THERE ARE MANY OTHER ISSUES WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED BY THE SERVICE COMPLAINTS, I DO NOT HAVE THE PATIENCE TO LIST OUT EVERYTHING WITHOUT AN ACTION BEING CONSIDERED HERE.

                CAR QUALITY AND SERVICE QUALITY IS POOR.


                I HAVE LOST MY PEACE OF MIND AND VALUABLE TIME BY BUYING THIS CAR.

                  I am Ajay kumar,owner of Hyudai Santro car# DL8CN-2142. On 12Jan 2008 I got serviced my car from "Nimbus Hyundai address:S-17 Site-4 Indusrtial area Sahibabad, Gzb.
                  Before service they checked all lights & indicators of my car & they all were working fine.After service I came to know that during service they have fused the backgear swith of my car due to that the back gear light continuously turn on.
                  Then I shared this issue with the people around & with the ManagerSupervisor but they did not listen to me & askedfor extra Rs-900 to get that switch changed but I shared with the manager that its done by your team so why should I pay for that & the manager behaved harshly with me.Then I filled the customer satisfaction form & also filed a request to the related issue.

                  Now its been a long time & no body is assisting me on this & I have not got any suvey call also.

                  I request you to assist me so that such people would learn a lesson oradvise me shall I contact to the higher authorities.

                    poor service and not giving proper response
                    Hi,

                    I have purchased a Hyundai Santro XO from Suhrit Motors, Yusuf Sarai with CNG fitted kit from the company. They agreed to take care of all registration and endoresement for CNG in RC and the same was charged during the initial payment made to Suhrit for the car. I purchased this car in August 2007 and till date waiting for my RC to be endoresed for CNG. I initially got my RC in the month of December 2007 without CNG endoresed in it and was told that the papers for CNG will be dispatched to me after CNG will be endoresed in my RC. I immediately put forward attention of required person who take care of registartion process that ENG endoresement is missing and the RC was returned to company at YUSUF SARAI, DELHI OFFICE at SUHRIT MOTORS for CNG endoresement in December itself. Now it is running April 2008 and enquiring and complaining to officials is of no use. I am still waiting for my RC from the company.

                    Is there any official HYUNDAI site where I can file complaint against this distributor or if someone can suggest me how to get my RC from him will be really helpful.

                    dear sir i am faching very poor service experience of hyundai. . i purchase i10 in oct 2008. last saturday my car was not run. ur service center incharge told me some problem in gaer box.but part of gaer box not avilable rite now. and he told me part was come to mumbai. and he asked me he plase the order monday and material despatch to thuesday and materia come to bhopal friday. my quetion is what is services & and why we purchase hyundai car. hyundai not given me timely serivces.if i waiting material for 5to6 days. i really feel every person adviced me buy maruti viehcl. every parts avilable every where. but we not get services for ur side. my quetion is any material come mumbai to bhopal 1 to 2 days. why u get a long time. and ur delar c . i . workshop incharge attitude is very bad.

                    Hyundai — Non Receipt of Registration and Insurance Policy

                    Dear Sir,

                    This is to inform you that I Vijay Kharbanda Purchased Hyundai I10 Magna (kapa) on 2nd Sep 2010 vide Engine No.436777 and Chsasis No.662263 from Chittor Hundai. I had made full payment of the car. All the receipt of the Payments are with me. My complaint is that two months are going to complete so far I have not received any registeration of my car and Insurance Policy. I have only insurance covernote which was valid for one month. I have made hundred of phone calls to Mr Rajender Sales Manager(Mob.No.[protected]) and Mr Gopal Sales Consltant (mob No.[protected]). I have to go to out of station but I could not go because of the above problems.

                    You are therefore requested to provide me the Registeration of the Car and Insurance Policy without waisting a time otherwise I will be going to the Consumer Court. Please do not understand this is warning but this is request because I Have been harassed like a any thing. I have visited four time to Chittor Hundai. I am working in Neemuch (M.P) and Chittor Cars is 58 Kms from my duty station one side.

                      My self is Parvinder Singh ( Ambala Road Saharanpur) that I am loyal customer of Hundai since 1998 with the purchase of Sentro, I have a great satisfaction with the customer care of your esteemed organization from impress of this when I wish to upgrade myself I once again show confidence on your product and your customer services and I purchased Hundai VERNA - CRDI on 18/10/2006 from your Commercial Hundai Showroom, Dehradun. However there are lot of option with me like Honda, Maruti and many more.

                      Really this is a beautiful and marvelous products and I am full satisfied with the VERNA.
                      But I am not at all satisfied with your dealer services and I have a big question on theirs technical capability and customer care, I have a instant with me on 17/12/2007
                      that I was coming back from Delhi on 17/12/2007 when I was on the way at Braut in the way my car suddenly stop it functioning and stop in the jungle at midnight, from my sources I tow my car from the place of breakdown to your authorized dealer workshop ( Commercial Hundai) they inspect the car and tell me that engine was seized I have big question to them how it happened but they not give any satisfactory answer to me & try to hides something that I don't know. But I have any option with me so agree to it's repair. They promise me that we will delivered your vehicle within 7 days and convenience me that I should also take a insurance claim for my car's which have some scratches on door. I agree for it and give a approval for start the work. But it seem shameful morethan 25 days they are not able to diagnose it's real problem and give me some nonsense excuses. I request for replacement vehicle but they deny it that they have no any re-placement vehicle with them.

                      At last they give me delivery of my car on 12/01/2008 with the full confidence and their satisfaction. On 12/01/2008 evening I went to my friend's house with my family ( wife, childrens & old parents) at 8.30pm I take leave for my friend's house and start journey to my destination. After 2 KMS a big fire seem on my car's engine compound & within second get full with smoke inside my car's cabin. Fortunately I was in large speed I tried to apply breaks but it's not working, I was afraid and fearful,
                      I manage to stop my car with the hand breaks I try to open the doors but due to centre loks system in my car it's unable to open also the power windows not came down with the blesses of God and charismatic kindness I dont know how doors was open. I let out me children's and parents from the car in this circumstances my parents and children get some injuries.

                      I tried to contact your authorizes dealer personal they come and take my car to their workshop I manage my friend's car and come back to my place. In the morning I contact the workshop persons and they say that a team come from Dehradun for this mishap and they repair it same day.

                      On there commitments I once again rely on them and allow to inspect my car. That team take my vehicle from Saharanpur to Dehradun at there workshop I speak to Gen.. Manager that's was happen. He have no any satisfactory answer for it. I once again request him for replacement vehicle but they deny it.

                      Sir, I think there is no any example of poor and casual approach of your dealer it's luckily God safe my family's life otherwise we all die in this accident.
                      I have many issues to rais.

                      A. Is commercial Hundai is authorized dealer workshop Saharanpur.
                      B. Is there manpower is technical skilled.
                      C. Is there is any customer in this dealership.
                      D. Is Hundai is giving dealership is such kind of casual of careless persons who play with customer's life.

                      I think that is only reason that Hundai is not come to no one position of C.S.I.& S.S.I. in the JD power survey and will not come until unless you not punish that kind of dealers and not doing well customer care I loose a confidence on your product and your customer cares. I have a no option to destroy this car OR burn it in the middle of city in the presence of honorable press persons for the popularity of your product. Believe me I can do many things and people suggest me for this but I am a educated person so I am not doing any foolishness and give a feedback kindly take this matter seriously and solve my problem within days after that I free to take my decisions. One more thing that your competitor provide me replacement vehicle whoever I have no any theirs product.

                      And I think so it's a only reason that Maruti Suzuki India is No 1 in al parameters. Once again I request kindly do needful to save Hundai reputation.

                      Forget about his English, just focus on what problems he has been into, just because of this Hyundai Dealer.

                      I’ve planned to buy a Hyundai Verna CRDi Sx ABS in Last week of April 2008 from M/s. Morani Hyundai, Jaipur (Rajasthan). I was served by an executive called Mr. Subhash Meena, who is indeed a very courteous, polite, understanding and responsive person, I finalized, booked & gave him a Cheque of Margin Money on 15/04/2008 and was cleared from my bank account on 17/04/2008.

                      The booking was done on commitment of his (Subhash Meena’s) immediate boss, so called Sales Manager (Team Manager), Mr. Amit Manu (Ex-Honda Employee) who is 100% un-professional, Un-reliable, and even un-faithful to his employer (Which I sensed after talking to him regarding the status of my car over telephone calls made to him) he assured & gave me a sure-shot commitment to that the car will be delivered positively by 22nd of April 2008 as they didn’t had that variant & color in stock and the logistics takes about 7-8 days to reach from Chennai (Hyundai Factory) to Jaipur.

                      On my phone call to him on 22nd April to know the whereabouts of my car, he said “All the cars are dispatched from Chennia Factory of Hyundai on 21st & will take another weeks time to reach Jaipur as our seth ji (Boss) was unable to send the advance payment DD to them (Hyundai Company) because of two reasons: i) Insufficient Funds ii) His main concentration & interest is in selling Honda Scooters (Honda-Pleasure)”. They are authorized dealers of Honda Pleasure Scooters also.

                      I told him “What the hell!!, You’re telling me this now??? You tell me the actual about the status of my car now” he said “I’m Sorry Sir, I’ll try to arrange your car from Kota, Bikaner, Ajmer or Alwar, just wait for my call I will revert back to you after an hour”, for which I’m still waiting.

                      I was desperately waiting for his call till 25th then finally called up Subhash Meena (his junior) to know the status of the car, he asked me that he will let me know after talking to his boss Amit Manu. He called up Amit Manu and was replied harshly that this is not office hours (9:10pm) and you sleep peacefully & let the customer [censored] himself, I’m on leave tomorrow and day after is Sunday, on Monday we will see what can be done. This was narrated to me as it is as the boy is innocent and does not understand politics.

                      We have 3 dealers of Hyundai now in Jaipur, but I seriously feel that Hyundai is not keeping up good track on the HR or recruitment of staff at dealer points. These people are all un trained, un professional and makes silly commitments and then vanish keeping the customer nowhere. The girls kept at the front desk of showroom are mostly belonging from sub-standard hindi medium based families and are more keen in talking to their boyfriends over the cell phones in the corners of the showroom keeping the customers waiting to respond for their queries.

                      I’m going to be a new customer of Hyundai; god knows when will I get the delivery of my car and what will happen with after sales service with these people.

                      i'm an owner of hyundai verna, i had bought this car on 31-05-07.from mrg auto ltd[ludhiana]. i'm not satisfied with car performance because i have to change my tyre between 20, 000 to 25, 000.And this is manufactring default and i, m facing it. I knw 4 to 5 peopel who are my coleags and facing same problem,
                      so please its an request to hyundai motors india to look at my problem. i had complained their several time. but their is no reaction from your side. And its not possibel for me to left my

                      Sir, I purchase Hundai Varna Vxi in August 2008, my complaint is about the tires.After 6000 KM my front tires get finished and small wire are showing. Please do something atleast the life of front tires should not be less than 15000Km. I want your service engineer should come to me and see the condition of the tyres and replace these tyres immidiatly and new tyres should be given to me on cost of the company
                      It's just not better to play blame game. Better is to find the solution.

                      We are sorry to say you about your dealer of Kota (RAJ) .They have not been bothering about our complaints which we have been suffering for few months. Our Hyundai Verna is not giving mileage, its clutch plate is also not working . But your dealer i.e, KAMAL AUTO CO., Kota (RAJ) are not satisfying us. There is no doubt that verna is so beautiful car and it is going very well in our nation. But dealer has to listen our complaints and should be fulfill our complaints. Everytime, they used to keep my car in their workshop for 2 - 3 weeks and afterwords, we take the car as it is. We are again sorry to say that your dealer is not bothering the customer complaints.

                      we have purchased verna a one and half year ago. there was no problem but recently we had a problem with the clutch pin. it was broken and we had replaced it but the new one also was in the same position of the old within one week. so there is a complaint from most of the customers that the small accesseries are not of good quality. so please do the needful

                      verna crdi sx — patheric dealer response

                      We have bought Verna Crdi sx VGt car no. MH 43 X 7882 from your dealer M/s Jaya bharat Hyundai after paying the up front money of Rs. 8, 74, 000/- on 27/07/2009 and were given the assurance of delivery with in 15 days but we got the delivery of the car on 21/08/2009 after constant follow up with the dealer.



                      We feel they have used our money . Please explain.

                      at the time of delivery Keyless was not working. And that was rectified after fight with the dealer.

                      I fail to understand why they verify the facts before giving such irresponsible answer.





                      I took the car to there own service center and there Mr. Chellappa ( service head) has seen the car and noted the things . but still the answer from there service head is for the problems are as under :



                      car key less : it is part of Hyundai . we don not check at our end.
                      Trip meter : he is not aware if sx has the compute meter as well as the tripA/tripB
                      Paint Variation/ White patch : this will go after few days.
                      surface roughness : this may be due to the plastic coating applied on the car.
                      We will carry out the surface roughness by buffing.

                      verna crdi — verna car is hell of problem

                      I purchased Verna crdi in 2006 from LUCKNOW DEALER. I was told by the sales man that it gives a averge of 24 km/lt. i have made severl complints to the dealer but i am surprised it gives only 13km/lt.as for as spares , every time sorry sir! NOT AVILABLE. Recent problem Battery not available ,not even in delhi.
                      if spares like Battery is not available, i think so company should close the model & take back the product from the market.
                      Please look into the matteras soon as possible. MY CAR IS LYING DUBBA DUMB SINCE 20 DAYS.

                      With ref. to the above subject we would kindly inform you that,

                      We had given our car for regular service Dated:16/06/2010 Timed:1:45pm.

                      On that day only the company personnel had informed us that it will take 2 More days to complete our request.

                      When we called on 18/06/2010 Time:5:00pm to collect the car they had informed us that it will take one more day so we said it's ok.

                      When we called on next day 19/06/2010 Time :5:15pm. they informed us that last night my Cars Key & Cars Kenwood Tape has been Theft from the service centers of the company.

                      So, we went to the company at 5:30pm on the same day and we had checked out our car that it was under broke down condition.

                      So, the Service Manager ( Mr. Gupta ) has informed us that let me take to the G.M (Mr. Pathak ) about this matter and call us back, But for 2 days he din't called back,

                      So. after 2 days we have called (Mr. Gupta ) about the same but he din't attend the call and so we personally went to the service center and talked with him but he din't respond for the same.

                      After that we even Called to the Director of Planet Hundai (Mr.Lucky) he also din't attended the call and din't respond for the same.

                      After that we had called to the HUNDAI CALLCENTER with the Complain No.:[protected] Dt: 24/06/2010 Time : 4:00 pm.

                      On the same day we had even Talked to Mr.JOHN (Regional HUNDAI SERVICE MANAGER) about this matter he informed us that we will get to the matted and solve the problem as early as possible.

                      But After that they had changed the cars whole LOCK KIT and the local Unnammed MP3 Player and brought the car at our premises Dt:26/06/2010 Time:8.00pm.

                      But we din't accept the delivery as the car's tape was not as per our requiriment and sent back the car on the same day.

                      As we din't accepet the delivery they requested a lot but we want only KENWOOD TAPE only as the same.

                      But still we din't received the delivery of car with the standard tape. So, we even called Mr. Lucky & Mr. John for the same but they din't come on line for attending our request.

                      So, Please do the need full procedure as early as possible, As we are in business line we are in requirement of Car for business trip. so do take care for the same as early as possible.

                      there is some problem with the turbo charger of verna after 35000 km almost all the verna belonging to my friend got defect in turbo charger
                      I have been affected by the Turbo-charger problem...and I was reading Sam_Esmayeel saying that all Verna's after 35, 000 kms have this problem. My car has done about 24, 000 Kms, but there needs to be a corrective action by the company if this is a commonly observed failure. And its a very expensive problem to have!! I have been offered a quote of Rs. 62, 000 to repair and delivery time of over 10 days by authorized Service Center of Hyundai - Manoj John
                      i have a hyundai verna 2009 model.i use it occasinally.once i had gone for a trip to a mountain range.while climbing up there was a burning smell from the tyre.we thought it would be a minor problem but after a little while ther was no pick-up and finally it stopped.we tried hard but the car never moved.we called up the service center, they came and checked.it was the problem with the clutch plate.it got burnt.why did this happen?i have drove even maruthi cars in these mountain ranges but never had such a problem.i spent one week extra and spent nearly 10000 rupees on the clutch plate.
                      It seems that the turbocharger problem is very common among Hyundai Vernas...and that too within 35, 000 kms itself...which is shocking!!

                      I have been a loyal customer of Hyundai for over 10 years with repeat purchases of Santros. Based on my experience with Santros...I went ahead and bought a Verna but it seems to have been a bad choice!

                      The bill for repair is extremely high and I am keen to know what recourse aggrieved customers have against the manufacturer for a severely deficient product quality.

                      All Toyota Diesel Vehicles run over lakh Km and never heard this complaint of turbo charger failure, Hyundai should take some corrective measure on this, if not it will definitely loose out its old customers. I am facing the same Turbo charger problem for 40000Km . This is estimated over 70K for repair in bangalore. I think hyundai should wake up now.

                        Hyundai service centre are cheating customers with unnecessary work (whether they actually do it is debatable). Be alert and refuse any repairs which you feel is not necessary. Today the Advaith H yun service centre at Banashankari, Bangalore wanted to charge me Rs.2500 for service and 1500 for decarb. I refused and told them to do the standard service for Rs.625 as per the labour chart. They kept pressurising me but I complained to their call centre and also their HO.

I was been agreed to take care of all registration and endoresement for CNG in RC and the same was charged during the initial payment made to Suhrit for the car.

Even after calling since months, the response remains the same "There are a few problems in registrations these days and I will be myslef calling you with your RC ready maximum by end of this week". I had never received any callback from any officail and now even if I call the respective person from my cell he ignore to take my call any more. Today itslef when I called him from my cell, he did not picked my call after so many tries but when I called him from some other cell he immediately responded back. I am still waiting for my RC from the company.

                        Pl. note that I am driving my car without any RC and i am unable to use my vehicle by Motor Act, due to not having the registration. I had even did not found anyone whenever I visited YUSUF SARAI or MAYA PURI showroom with or without information or prior appointments, nobody from management was available to attend me.

                        I become very surprise that being a nice dealer the customer satisfaction has got no value in your opinion.

                        Now suggest me to whom should I approach and by when my problem will be solved/taken care off.

                        they charge 1lac38k & delivered me my vehicle on sept 2009. i'll took my vehicle in night when i came to home than i saw
                        that my car tray is not in the car,

                        and my car seats are band, chasis is also band from bottom, & liquid is come near accelarator pendel, dashboard is not fitted

                          I had purchased a new Santro XING XL on 1st November, 2007. During the negotiations with the dealer – TAFE, Chennai, they had promised me that they would give me 2 years extended warranty. At the time of purchase, the sales person informed me that I would get the warranty by end of December and would ensure I get it.



                          Its January 16th now and till date I haven’t heard from them, when I called in to check, I get a reply that “We need to check”.



                          This is outrageous and against all corporate ethics and don’t least expect from Hyundai, I would request somebody from Hyundai to look into the matter seriously.

                            I Have urchase vehicle Santro Zing-XO saying that i will give you another two customer within a span of 25 days if you will give me proper services . i have kept my promise ---my freind Mr.Mitaram Patle and Mr.Jayant Vyas have also purchased the same vehicles.

                            Customer like me who have "n' numbers of followers had very bad experience -stated below

                            1) I have purchased Santro Xing Xo on 18 th october 2007. my vehicle registration number MH-31 CP 7933 Nagpur. at the time of booking your Cust,care executive promised me about exchange bonus and corporate discount amounting to Rs. 20000/-.Till the date i havent recieved any cheque from Hyundai after passing two months. i have already submitted all the papers for Exchange bonus and coprate discount.

                            2) Another thing your sales staff is hopeless, there at KETAN HYundai at Nagpur. They dont have a convincing ability.specially MR.Jefry.
                            They have delivered me a Silver color vehicle at last moment whereas i was pressing for Gold Earth.
                            At last moment Mr.Zefri told me ,Hyundai has already stopped the production of ZING XO. and we are having only 2 options.
                            Instead of convincing me Sales Manager -Mr.Jefry has given me two options Go for Silver or otherwise cancel your booking we dont need you.

                            3) After completeing 1400 KMS i have given my XO for free serving,at the time of delivery your service engineer at KEtan Hyundai Nagpur has told me "your vehiclewindshield broken glass. saying that it must be happened at your end. i want you ask one thing then while taking vehicle for servicing area why your engineer has not checked the vehicle first.


                            NOW I AM THINKING TO GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT FOR MY DEMANDS WHICH ARE NOT FULLFILLED AT YOUR END.

                            i am sick of dsc hyundai , these people cant do a proper clutch change also . after the first time they changed my clutch , it started to jerk in 1 st gear , then they took the car again to say that some other part the plywheel is not right , they changed that , the problem increased . i had already spent around 8000 rs and was out of my mind , again gone back to them , they took the car again and changed the clutch the second time , to my shock it still jerks and sometimes starts to jerk while overtaking and this gets very risky . i am really disappointed with dsc hyundai service at chennai . i really feel the hyundai company should do something , the customers are etting pained ,takin new models out in the market with no sense of handling the present customers will one day lead them to shame only . i hope the company loooks into my matter and hope to get some positive reply

                            I am sure now that Hyundai has truly gone down in terms of service level.

                            Despite your mail received almost 20 days back, I have not heard from anyone and no wonder the employees of the authorized dealers have also got the message that nothing will happen to them no matter in whichever way they handle the customers.

                            I have not got any resolution to my query and would like to have the email address of the Chairman of Hyundai Company so that I can write to him to make him aware as to how the company is being managed and how his efforts to grow the company are going down the drain.

                            I have bought my 3rd Santro in 6 years and each time I find the quality and customer service level falling.

                            This time I had bought a Santro from Jaybharat Automobiles Limited , Prabhadevi , Mumbai on the 30 August 2007and was very upset with the way commitments were made by the dealer and then post receiving the payment the way the Vice President Mr. Chandrabali C Prajapati handled the whole issue and treated the customers like a whole bunch of fools and his attitude towards the customers was so rude as if he is doing some obligation to the customers by delivering the car to them.

                            I have never come across any manager of this type in 20 years of my driving tenure.

                            He literally insulted us in the showroom and then laughed it off with his fellow colleagues as if he has achieved some thing great in life.

                            To add to the humiliation and wrong commitments that were made to us before getting the money, when today I tried calling your customer care helpline[protected] the call is getting dropped after every 1 minute of speaking time and this happened 6 times as if you want to discourage the customers from logging a complaint and adding to the woes of the already irate customer.

                            I am truly very upset this time and may be never look at going with Hyundai and neither recommend this brand to any one.

                            I agree with your grievance ..I also have a very very bad response from Ketan Hyundei Nagpur..They are simply maneersless.
                            I also have very bad response form the Kothati Hyundai, pune. Once the CAR got sold, they will go on toss. If you try to contact them they simply disconect the cell since they can see your number easily. If you called through other number they told me to contact office and dirvert the matter saying that I don't know about this u need to talk to office...

                            Finaly Idescided to not to recommend any frined to go for Hyundai.

                            Maruti is best in service after sale as well.

                            Hyundai Santro — Complaint: TN22AY7547 / Kun Kottivakkam

                            Hi,

                            It’s been a little over 3 years since I got my Hyundai Santro from your Anna Nagar Showroom. It’s the first car that I have owned and hence close to my heart. I have never missed a single service and have always given it to your Kun Service Centre at Kotivakkam.

                            After one such service, I started having serious problems in my car. The car was not stable and was shaking terribly when in movement. I called up the service centre who promptly took my car to check the cause of the problem. To my surprise, the service engineer calls up and tells me that they are unable to identify what is the cause of the problem. However, they suggested that when the wheels were changed, the car did not wobble. Though the wheels were in perfectly good condition I had to get them changed (3 of them for over INR 7200) since I needed my car back. They also wanted to charge me for the wheel alignment, though the car had been serviced just a week back and was sent back because of a complaint. After some persuasion, they just charged me for labor and cost of the tyres.

                            It’s just been a month, and I have started having the same problem again. I have absolutely no idea what I need to do now. The car seems to be absolutely unstable but am still using it. I am hesitant to give it back to the same service centre. In fact, I am seriously contemplating to exchange my car with another maker to avoid all the hassles I have had (and still having). I sincerely hope that getting my first car to be a Santro was a good decision, but am already having second thoughts now.

                            I am sure if I call up the Kotivakkam Kun Service Centre again, they would want me to leave the car for them to check. At the end of it all, empty my pockets with a big invoice, for the problem to re-surface in a while.

                            I hope someone acknowledges this issue and helps me understand the future course of action.

                              cranck shaft of my Santro Car Xing XG model purchased in Nov 2004 failed just within 3 years.
                              run nearly 31000 km only and just before the failure It was serviced for Mobile oil and oil filter replacement a couple of days back only
                              My avearge run per year is only 10,000 Km and I drive very carefully.I have regular check ups from Hyundai service station only.Now the repair cost is too heavy for me Rs 24k for which I requested a compensation to Hyundai through telephones and e-mails,but no positive response came from them.Could any body please suggest how to get a full /moderate compensation from Hyundai and let them believe that it is a manufacturing defect of cranck shafts manufactured during 2004 production beacuse I have read similar complaints of cranck shaft failure in Team BHP forum.The failure has completely shocked me and even after replacement of the cranckshaft I do not believe it would not happen again.

                                I bought 29 inch Hyundai TV. It is not getting switched on and the dealer has dispaaeared and I cannot even locate the service center's name and telephone, as the telephone number mentioned in the service manual is not responding. This is totally in contrast with the car service!I am living in west bengal. please give me a service centre or showroom's address and phone no. in kolkata.

                                    I have been always getting my car serviced through authorised Hyundai service centre, Rama hyundai, Vasant kunj, Delhi. When i had originally purchased the car i got avg 14.5 KMPL which was OK. About a year back after servicing i had running problem. I had to take my car twice to Rama Hyundai after which the problem was corrected by i continue to get low mileage approx 10/11 Kmpl. I got last servicing done through another Hyundai service...

                                    Sir,

                                    I purchased my santro Xing from M/s Orion Automobiles Gurgaon on 22nd March 2006. After my three free services are finished I agin visited the service centre of Orion Automobiles on 30th September 2007 after receiving a letter from Mr. Tejender singh (GM Orion). Mr. Rajkumar made the job card fro my car and withour informing the necessity of Total Body Cleaning. He told me that apart from The filter, Plugs, Engine oils, Coolant, Total Body cleaning has also to be done and for that he had charged Rs.1200/- from me. The total Bill was Rs.4450/- for the service. Mr. Rajkumar told me to sit upstairs till the car service will be done. I was waiting upstairs and suddenly i remembered that one screw of the stearing was loose and had to be tightened up. For the same when I went downstairs the security gard Mr. Dubey came there and shouted at me very badly and insulted me. I was waiting again upstairs. When I saw that the service had been done and the vehicle is going for washing I went there. One person came there and said that some work is left and therefore it cannot be washed at that time.Then in front of me he took the oil used to do the de-carbonising from my car and kept the sealed pack bottle in the bottom of the machine used to do the de-carbonising. Instead he took some old (used) oil from the bottom of the machine around 50ml and done the de-carbonising for not more that 2-3 minutes.when I asked him what he is doing he very rudely told me " KHADA HOKE DEKHTA REH, TU CAR CHALATA HAI YA YEH TERI CAR HAI"

                                    I had few queries in this regard

                                    1. When a consumer is paying around Rs. 5000 for service can't he stand infront of his vehicle?
                                    2. Is the consumer going to the authorised service centre to get himself insulted?
                                    3. How and why the person doing the de-carbonising stolen the oil used for the same when I had paid for the oil. Can he keep the oil?
                                    4. This puts a doubt that during the service also the coolant, Engine oil, Break oil and other oils are also not changed and Still I had paid for the same.
                                    5. Is the authorised service centres free to take money from the customers in the name of Total Body Cleaning, Engine polish, Car polish Etc when these things are not at all necessary and in no way they are
                                    going to harm the performance of the vehicle
                                    6. Orion does not even have the air compressor used to check the air Pressure in the tyre. They dont even check the air in the tyre.
                                    7. there are around 50 items mentioned in the user booklet and the people doing the so called service doesnot check even 10 of them
                                    8. I complained about the same to rajkumar several time but of no use.
                                    9. After the car wash I objected several time to peole to clean the car and do the polish in the beading and the dash board but of no use and after several repeated requests when no action was taken i myself has
                                    to do the polish on the dash board and on the beadings of the vehicle.
                                    10. Mr. Rajkumar didn't gave me the customer feed back form at the time of billing and in front of me he filled the same and put it in the drop box. On the bill I mentioned that the service of my vehicle was very poor. Is Rajkumar authorised to fill the consumer feed back form on behalf of the consumer?


                                    I am sorry to say that this authorised service centre does not care about the vehicle, instead they are there just to make money by one or the other way. I feel that I had been cheated by orion and am taking legal advice for the same. I will get my vehicle checked by some authorised mechanic and will check that whether the TB cleaning had been done or not and whether all the oils for which I had paid had been changed or not? In case I found any carbon and any other cheating with me I will move to consumer court for the compensation. I tried to call Mr. Jatin Mobile no. [protected], but he also didn't picked the phone on 30th sept. Orion service centre is just another service centre to make money from the consumer who had purchased hyundai motors and these kind of acts of the authorised service centres forces customers to go to private shops to get there vehicle serviced satisfactorily. I really doubt on the authonticity of the services done at orion!

                                    I hope that an action will be taken against the concerned people ASAP

                                    Very rude behaviour from sharma hyundai, ahmedabad dealer workshop incharge and their staff. They always wants to cash on and for the same complaint in vehicle every now and then vehicles are called on at workshop...

                                    I completely agree to the status of the Hyundai service centre, atleast at Gurgaon. Orion Hyundai is a one big big cheat. The instance as outlined above is pretty normal and apart from that, I have new experiences everytime. The guys who interface to us public says often lures the customers in gettins the things done off the record. They would charge a fraction of the normal service centre price.
                                    It just seems one big nexus out there.

                                    I beleive that these things are not possible and they cannot flourish without the involvement of the higher authorities at Orion.

                                    Its pity on Hyundai that their reputation is being tarnished like that by the greed of the service centre owners.
                                    I had made my Mood to buy Santro...But Now after reading this complaints I will think on that...
                                    I am in total agreement with Mr. Naveen. I had similiar kinda of experience today. I had Santro since last 10 years, its for the first time I got such illmannered, disgusting service, ill behaved people. I am sure Orion is being owned by some big wig and as such Hyundai cant do much. But I am afraid now, if such trend continues, then how long the brand value will remain intact.
