I bought grand i10 the mailage of the car as told by sales person was 17-18kmpl on highway and 15-16kmpl in city. I am only getting 10-11kmpl in city i complained every time when i service my car at hyundai service station but they told me in clear words that sales person dont know the true milage only we know it
Which means i am cheated by hyundai

    Hi

    On 2nd february i gave my car for service at sharayu hyundai with music system issue. Music system is intermittently getting switched off. Car is just 4& half year old. I insisted them to repair the system. Yesterday they gave my music system back and said even after repair they can not guarantee that it will work. Now music system is entirely dead. Service centre should have returned system in as is condition. I have been asked to replace entire music system. This raises doubt on quality of products used in hyundai car. I am totally disappointed with this. Hyundai should provide solution to this. I had written two emails to [protected]@hmil.net but there is no response.

      Dear mr. Seon seob kim,

      It distresses me to have to write a letter like this to you, but you have a right and a responsibility to hear directly from your customers and to know what is going well, and what isn’t, in your company and in your geo. Let me get directly to the point – i’m extremely unhappy with hyundai india and its management. It is my experience that hyundai has demonstrated clearly that it is in the business of making false promises and duping customers.

      My ordeal started on october 31st 2017 when i bought the next gen verna. Immediately after taking delivery of the car and driving it for the first time i realized that the navigation sd card wouldn’t insert and stay put, the solution for which to replace the complete media and navigation system. For at least 4 months i was driving the “next gen” verna without the navigation system.

      But i came to realize that the navigation system was the least of my problems when it became apparent that the abs+ebd system on my new car failed to function properly (Pedal kickback, shuddering, vibrations) at speed breakers and small slopes. Talk about a terrifying defect!. I used to be scared about this until one day when i was parking the car at my office i entered the slope and the brake pedal kicked my foot and got stuck in top position and wouldn’t press despite multiple tries, so had to finally pull the hand brakes. Ended up denting the car when it hit the wall.

      I had filed my initial complaint with hyundai on january 24th 2019 – after a visit to the service station and a visit from mr manoj pandey – [protected], area manager (Which cost me time, money and fuel) hyundai failed to not only correct the issues, but completely failed in determining what was even causing them. It is clear to me that hyundai has no idea as what is in the car and hyundai doesn’t know how to fix it. But the workshop certified that we haven’t made any repairs, the brakes are fine and the car is roadworthy.

      Mr manoj’s visit was nothing less than an attempt to humiliate me and show off as if he is the one who designed the car and is lined up to take your job next. The fact although is that even his concepts weren’t clear and was talking rubbish about how turning the steering at higher speeds could cause the brakes to become hard.

      I have never met or spoken to an obnoxious egoistic executive of a multinational corporation like mr manoj. I am not an automobile engineer because i wanted to pursue something much harder than that but that doesn’t mean your staff has a right to torment me acting like a know it all and thrashing his decision that “there is nothing wrong with brakes” on me.
      He came pre-scripted because regardless of what i had said he gave the same rubbish like a puppet. His knowledge was really poor and could not answer even the simplest of questions. When asked to follow this up to your management he wouldn’t reply and never wrote back regarding the next steps regarding my complaint. When i confronted him regarding the same over call, he beautifully answered that we are competent and the car is competent and that i don’t have proof of the incident.

      I’ve sent several emails to your service and management feedback desk pointing out the issues and talking about my ordeal. However they either end up with the regional office or get no response. It is absolutely shocking to me, how little the management of hyundai evidently cares about the customers who have invested in hyundai’s product and who have as a result, entrusted their lives and the lives of their families and friends to the company. That doesn’t include of course any other innocent pedestrians or other motorists who may be injured or killed as a result of a mechanical defect or failure in a hyundai automobile.

      Finally, after zero response, a month of torment and danger from this dysfunctional automobile, i am forced to write to you and shall be writing on other forums to inform others. If this doesn’t get me a proper solution, i shall be forced to take legal action against hyundai. Hyundai has failed to understand customer experience and if some area manager is going to ask me for proof of incident that will not only be acceptable but also force me to take the matter public via media, social media, and my professional network on a global scale.

      In summary, this is what i have learned, and am subsequently going to take up with the mainstream media in india, south korea, and other countries, and what i am building a social media & petition campaign around which will other hyundai drivers who have had similar experience together:
      1. Hyundai has no concern for the safety of their customers or the traveling public in general, who maybe killed or injured by a defective hyundai vehicle
      2. Hyundai has one mission and one mission only. Make money, regardless of the human cost
      3. Hyundai, despite their reputation, has acted extremely unprofessionally and irresponsibly, despite knowing of many critical defects which puts customers and their loved ones’ lives at risk
      4. Failing to respond to repeated requests for action from a concerned customer indicates that hyundai has a callous disregard for both the welfare of its customers and the message the public will hear about the company’s grossly negligent approach to safety and customer welfare.

      Clearly, hyundai is reluctant to honor their promises as they know it would mean the recall of huge number potentially unsafe vehicles.

      Hyundai and mr. Kim – if you have even an ounce of respect and honor, you’ll get to the bottom of this professionally, fix the brakes, repair the damages and have your unprofessional staff apologize in writing. I refuse to put my family’s life and the lives of others at risk by using a vehicle that clearly can kill or injure occupants or others as a result of well-documented (Links below and screenshots attached) and repeated defects.

        Sir, i own a creata (Sxo) which was been purchased 6 months back. I was been informed about the misplacement of the h-band of my car. As soon as i was been informed about it i sent the product back to the showroom but now its been 4-5 months and i haven't got my cars h-band. I keep going to the showroom every 3-4 days once but the authorities don't respond properly they keep making excuses. Kindly make a note of it and take action.
        Poor service in Oxina motors-Tiruchirapally.No proper response from service team but only focussed on getting signature from customers in satisfactory letter.Worst attitude!!!No follow up from Hyundai even after several mails have been sent for delay in getting my car service done.Feedback call is done twice even after my worst experience.Worst!!!

          I booked the 1st oct 2018 on grand i10 morani motors tonk road jaipur
          Due to non-white colour after booking, grand i10 was given by
          Hindustan motors by sales executive vikas varma, but when i was asked
          To return the booking amount, i was told that 7 days will be refunded
          But for 3 months until the booking amount refund was not refunded,
          Then in january, i cut 2000 rupees out of 11000 and handed back 9000
          Checks for the when i asked the reason for cutting 2000, i was told
          That the booking cancelling charge has been deducted. I have told
          Them that i have done some conferencing in the booking. I have been
          Told by the executive vikas verma that i will get back in but he did
          Not even return. Your company is a bad seller by morani motors.
          Booking was cancelled by you, not by me.

          I am very frustrated to write again that the matter still drag on and has not been handled professionally at all.

          We are still waiting for the refund of the booking amount. The entire story is already mentioned below. Almost every 5 days or so we follow up with the dealer and get a disappointing. I really did not foresee such hassles with your brand. I need my refund - entire amount without any hassles or delay. I also need a clear date on when can I expect it.

          Please revert urgently and promptly as soon as possible.

            I received a call from dpm hyundai dehradun haridwar bypass for service of my car.. From campny one drive came to pick my car from my house and after that when i went to see my car in workshop the service done by them was not good and they have made the bill of 24000 and last service was of 18000 every this the service price has been going up and they also add some items in bill which was not done in service they use to cheat us which is not gud and i have also complained tw the service manager but i don’t get any response from them after they the told me that car will b derliver you at your house by 7:30 and when the drive came to deliver my car the front glass whindshild was broken now they are say it was from befor i told them to check there camera of workshop but they are not listening... I request you to help me out

              I have been an owner of a Hyundai i20 1.2L ASTA with sunroof since 23.01.2014. Regn. No. TN 09 BV 4907. I have been very happy with the Hyundai cars being an owner of a Santro before too.
              The hand brake light has been lighting up on the dashboard some 4/5 months back. The problem was attended to by a simple top up of oil (by the authorised service center). But the problem has cropped up again. On taking it to the service station... I have been informed that the car has a leaking ABS unit.
              I am shocked that something like this has happened with such a critical component.
              The service advisor tells me that it is most unusual and even the part is not normally available. As it involves such a critical component, I have asked for it to be changed immediately for which I was asked to pay an advance of 25000. (I have promptly done so as safety of me and my family is paramount) I have been informed today (after 2 days) that it will take some more time for the part to arrive.
              I would like to take it up with the senior level regarding this fault. A defective ABS brake unit is unacceptable. This is my 5th car and the first time a problem like this has cropped up. I think Hyundai must accept that the original part is faulty and replace the part. I would like to take this up at all forums as some components in a car are expected to perform perfectly and not throw shocks like this.
              I would like a revert at the earliest as I am scared to trust my Car now. Please note that when I bought the car, I bought the top end version as I wanted ABS and the max possible air bags as safety is very important for me. After paying a premium for what I thought was the safest option, I feel it is unfair that my car has a defective ABS unit. I would expect Hyundai to replace the part and refund my amount. I agreed to pay the advance as the service center would not even order the spare without a 25000Rs. advance. As mentioned...the brake unit is not something I can compromise on... so I paid immediately. However, I do not want it to look like I am accepting it.

                  I'm talking about Shivam Hyundai Ajmer...
                  I was working with them from 14feb 2013 - 4march 2018... I informed Mr. Utkarsh Goyal about job left on date 24 feb 2018... On that time he did not tell me anything nd deposit 8000/- salary in my account ******589 as on date 1 feb this is a lumsome amount of salary & told that balanced salary will transfer after holi... But till now after many reminder by [protected] calls and whats app msgs they didn't gave any reply...when i called with new mob. Number they attend my call but when i m asking about my salary & incentive they deny for it...
                  They even signed some Blank vouchers from us in December that I attached to the mail.

                    I wanted to purchase Hyundai i20 Magna and I was informed by Mahadev Motors(RAJKOT, GUJARAT) which acts as DSA of Shreem Hyundai that the car is readily available at Shreem Hyundai. Hence I had given booking amount of Rs. 10000/- to Shreem Hyundai(Mahalaxmi) The booking amount for i20 Magna was given through net banking on the name of Shreem Motors Pvt. Ltd.
                    Later I was informed that the car is not available by the DSA and so I cancelled the booking of the car. Now the Shreem Hyundai sales and accounts people(Vanita, Amol, Arti, Santosh) are not giving me satisfactory answer and neither they return my money. I have sent mail to different departments so many times but they don't have any professionalism to even respond to any of them.

                    Kindly do the needful and guide me.

                      As i mentioned in my previous email i am not getting my car rc of hyundai creta which i was buy on 05/11/2018 from shine hyundai by name of madhukar agarwal till today their no response from the shine hyundai. General manager don't have the manners how to talk with customer.

                      I have attached form 20 of rto which they paste other person passport photograph instead of madhukar agarwal. The photos i have shared with the dealership but they make me fault.

                        1) car was serviced comprehensibly on[protected] and the problem of doors getting unlocked itself with flickering of head and tail lights was informed. Bill paid for rs. 7202/- (Attached).
                        2) observed same problem of doors getting unlocked itself with flickering of head and tail lights. Made personal investment of rs. 3000/- for external tyre lock and handle lock equipment to safe guard the vehicle.
                        3) informed service center about the same and car was delivered to service center.
                        4) car was given back informing to check again and revert back.
                        5) observed third time same problem of doors getting unlocked itself with flickering of head and tail lights.
                        6) informed service center about the same and service center informed that latching assembly front door to be replaced. Part was ordered and replaced on[protected].
                        7) car was given back but fourth time observed the same problem of doors getting unlocked itself with flickering of head and tail lights. Expenses on spare and workmanship rs. 2456/- paid bill attached.
                        8) service center informed that now module turn signal and junction box is to be replaced and the same were ordered.
                        9) car was kept in service center from[protected] to[protected] for further study and part replacement.
                        10) part replaced on[protected] and vehicle was given back by informing that the problem is fully solved. Expenses uncured rs. 14144/- bill attached.
                        11) again fifth time the same problem is observed of doors getting unlocked itself with flickering of head and tail lights. Informed to the service center.
                        * from the above incidences it appears that there is no competent staff is available, trial & err method is used to resolve the problem. Total expense of rs. 16660/- was done on baseless conclusions and hidden expense of rs. 3000/ of fuel and 1500 of driver charges was also uncured during this period.
                        Request to resolve the problem and arrange reimbursement of rs. 21160/- to me.

                          I am not sure any action hyundai will take against his car dealer advaith hyundai branch bellandur bangalore or not for using slang words to customer by his employee rahul shetty the customer.

                          The story is like this as yesterday i visited hyundai balandur bangalore branch for my car servicing as i reached before given time and waited in customer lounge area as the weather is hit i asked for to on the ac no one bother about the things after asking several time they turned the mater to i am asking the car before time and mr. Rahul shetty started using slang words (#) and all. And they didnt allow me to give the fill the feedback form too about this.

                          Can anybody help me i feel very bad about the behaviour of this person, since from past 5 years i used to take service for my car from the same branch never feel so ashamed mr. Rahul shetty did like this.

                          Request to please take some action against the person.

I was quoted by the same insurance company with the same plan in 12000 less amount when i was doing it by self.                               Last dec’18 i purchased new santro car in salem showroom. (09/12/2018)

                              Since from day one itself my audio system not working properly.

                              Sometime it’s on & sometimes it’s not on. For your better understanding attached the videos.

                              I informed to salem sales & service team. They are still researching in this issue not giving solution or not solved.

                              I already informed to change / replace the audio. But they are still doing rnd with my car (In salem / namakkal golden showroom).

                              Still problem not solved.

                              I believe you take immediate action on emergency basic. Let me know any additional required. And if any doubt revert back to me.

                                I have sent my car number od33d 1030 to utkal hyundai bhubaneswar for battery related issue.2 times i sent to showroom for the same battery issue but no solution came out. The mechanic r not diagonise the excat issue for battery discahrge. 15 days my car kept in observation but after that the battery discharge problem. Request to resolve the issue permanently show that i will ride d car comfortably.in every 6 days the battery discarge.

                                  Hi,

                                  I was to buy a elite i20 and had submitted the whole amount to the dealer (Srishti hyundai, rohtak) i. E. 811500 and i was taking a test drive and as there was not much petrol in the vehicle the sales guy who was sitting along with me to get the petrol filled up but when the petrol was being filled one of the bus that was also taking up fuel from the same petrol pump took a wrong turn and hit the vehicle. Even though it was not my mistake at all it was full mistake of the bus driver. The dealer is asking me to compensate 20000 for a very small dent now and it is now harassing me to take up the accidented vehicle. He doesn't even have the new vehicle now and is saying me to wait for 20 days for the vehicle and on forcing him now he is saying that you need to pay 20000 as it was not a test vehicle which does not have insurance and it was his mistake to give a non registered non insured vehicle.

                                      My hyundai eon car was on accidental on asm hyundai service center, gwalior before 20 days, now i got confirmation call yesterday on 30th jan'18 that take my car back as its service work is completed. I took my car back but on road when i saw a sensor heating signal of my car it was on last red light, my car was also making some noise from the engine, i switch off my car instantly as the engine was in the highest level of heat when i touch my car bonnet it was very hot, when i called on asm hyundai service center, after 2 hours mechanic cames on that place and when he opens a bonnet, he found that the service center forget to fill coolant and also water, after that he filled bottles of water in my car and told to bring my car back next day, how can be they so much irresponsible.. It can be any danger i was inside my car, burning smell was also coming, i instantly came out from my car, now, i want justice and the service center should charge with heavy penalty. I don't trust on engine of my car, i want my car engine replace.
                                      Plz. Solve my issue.

                                        Hello sir,
                                        I am dr dnyaneshwar rohe from beed, maharashtra, india.
                                        I met with an accident on 9th jan this month and submitted my car at your showroom deep hyundai here at beed on same day. I also provided all necessary documents required.
                                        Today i made visit there and was informed that work of repair will start after a week from todays date, and may require upto one month.
                                        Initially i was being told that within 15 days time they will provide me my car.
                                        Now they are telling some whole different things.
                                        Sir, may i know what is the reason for all this delay?
                                        Please help me getting my car back in time as soon as possible.
