1. This is to bring to your notice that i purchased a hyundai i20 magna bsiv (Chassis no-malbb51bldm578406*f & engine no-g4ladm090494) through berkley hyundai panchkula vide invoice no-h2013p00538 dated 31 jul 2013.
2. I have been regularly getting my vehicle serviced (Both free and paid) as per the prescribed schedule from the authorized dealers (Berkley hyundai panchkula). It is a sparingly used vehicle which has run just 12000 kms in the last four (04) years.
3. The last scheduled service was carried out on 22 jul 2017 wherein the vehicle was found fit in all respect including its air conditioner. However, on 12 sep 2017, the air conditioner of the car stopped functioning abruptly. Consequently, the car was taken to the authorized service station (Berkley hyundai panchkula) on 13 sep 2017 where the air conditioning system was checked and it was found that the compressor had gone defective. It was suggested by the service centre that the compressor needed replacement. It was further mentioned that the cost of replacement (Rs.20, 000/- approx.) and labour charges are to be borne by the owner. Further, it was clarified by the insurance company that replacement of this major component is not covered under insurance.
4. I would like to reiterate that there has been no history of any major/ minor accident with regards to this vehicle. Therefore, since it is a premature failure of the compressor despite having followed all the laid down norms, it is apparent that it is a manufacturing defect. May i request your personal intervention into the matter and get the component replaced at the company cost.
All Hyundai cars has Air conditioner issues. It works best for max. 3 years, if you use car on daily basis.

    Which ac is not working because it is found damage from the company.
    My warranty & gaurantee period is also left.

      Dear sir,
      I bough one hyundai creta sx+ diesel 1.6 suv from popular hyundai, kochi. On 17.08.2017.
      I would like to highlight you that, i received car's stepney wheel is not as per other 4 wheels (Diamond cut alloy wheel)!!!
      Why you are not providing alloy wheel for stepney??
      Others all are providing (Ford. Toyota, honda, etc.. Etc..) stepney same as other wheels? Why you can't.
      Even in gulf, hyundai is providing alloy wheel for stepney too.
      Either you need to have clearly given in your manual or delayers should be explained since buying.. See attache key feature

      I already been complaint hyundai;s kochi office on 24 oct. 2017 and online consumer complaint on 07 sep. 2017, till now i didn't received any reply form any of them.. If you are not reply i would move to consumer court and forward legally...

        I have given my car for paid service at trident hyundai hosur road. I booked srervices via hyundai customer car portal 5 days before however no follow up was done and i got one mobile number and message them luckily, he was the sevice manager so he instantly asked driver for pickup at my home address.

        I told pickup driver about all the open issues, ignition problem, some irrritating noise ffrom back seat left portion. But no steering and suspension issue. They took my car for more than 30 hours. I was not at home hence my wife recieved the car and paid amount to them.

        Now the problem started

        I came to home at night and tried to take drive. Suddenly i was observing a rattling noise from left side of tyre and steering also bit tight. I drove more and confirmed this is coming form left and the noise problem which was given earlier still prevails and new problem occured in car.

        I thought i could be wrong. Next morning i asked my driver to drive and check. He also confirmed rattling noise coming from steering and suspension form left side.

        I observed brake problem which i briefed them at the time of servicing of my car still exists and they charged me 2000 rs for break pad.

        I raised a complaint on hyundai portal and next 5 min i got a call from dealer service manager, and he started argumentative and his attitude was very bad. Not at all customer oriented. He had a rough tone and high pitch and threatening not to go to hyundai directly and asked me to come service center with vehicle. After 2 days i took my car they told this problem persists and we informed you about this noise. However that rattling nose from suspension and steering was never coming earlier. They told me it will cost 15000 and they will change steering shaft and problem will be rectified.
        Why i have to bear this cost??

        I would advise everyone to have servicing in front of your eyes don't believe on hyundai dealer service centers

          I have purchased hyundai i10 asta (O) 1.2. Bsi bearing chasis no. Mala851clfm337071; engine no. G4lafm754346; having registration no. Kl7 ce 9074 as per invoice no. 1173 dated 21.11.2015 from m/s. Popular hyundai, vytilla, kochi-19. Since august 2017, the vehicle has run only 3130 kms and shown breakdown problems. The technicians informed as there was a complaint with the starting unit which have to be replaced and an amount of rs. 25, 000/- will incur. As the vehicle is in the warranty period and we informed the same to them, they have done some minor repair and made the vehicle running. On 19th september 2017, again the vehicle shown the same problem and the service centre had taken the vehicle spotting the same error and demanded to replace the starting unit. Again, they have suggested to repair the same while we have informed the period of warranty.
          This is to bring to your kind notice, the warranty period of my vehicle is going to expire, and the technicians if repair with minor corrections, which again after the completion of warranty period i am afraid, if such error again happens will costs me huge amount to repair. This is to inform you that, you have to give assurance from your side, as i had used the vehicle in lesser kilometers and in the beginning, itself such problems had occurred, you may extent the warranty, which can clear my worry on the unit repaired rather than replacing the unit.
          You are requested to do the needful, to make my vehicle’s issues to be cleared permanently or you may extent the warranty to such an extent, which has to be informed to me and the service centre at the earliest to avoid any legal actions from my side.
          This is for your kind information and necessary action.

            Hi purchased hyundai elite i20 on 24th feb2017 from trident hyundai, from day one i'm having issue, i have sent my vehicle to service station 10 times but issue wasn't fixed and not taken care responsibly. Also i'm hearing from trident people these issues will not be fixed permanently, it will be there till end from various sources. Also it is very difficult to reach out hyundai customer relationship manager to escalate. I feel that something happening in the back ground and i feel that im getting cheated here. I lost trust with the dealer and also with hyundai. I need a replacement/new vehicle or my money back.

              Sir, i purchased a hyundai xcent in december 2016. From the first day of purchase there was a sound when we accelerate the car. I got the car checked many times from pal motors, khanna, punjab but there was no positive response in accordance to the complaint. That always said that the car has no problem. They are not interested in gettingg the issue resolved. The warranty of the car is till 40000 kms and the car is driven 39768 kms. So kindly get the issue resolved otherwise it would be a matter of shame if i would have to go to the consumer court for this issue. Please look into the issue and resolve it as soon as possible. Thank you
              The dealer is delaying the delivery of the vehicle from1-2 weeks as promised by the dealer the vehicle should be delivered on 21 September 2017 but as he says he has no delivery status available for the vehicle

                Sir i bought grand i 10 on dt. - 03/09/17 from binay hyundai begusarai. Mr ajit kumar seals executive frauding me. My 3500₹ taken for make my driving licenced. But today he return my documents and he say to me your deposite amount is adjust from car purchasing inbrushment money. Sir it is very serious matter forwarded with regarding you. I hopefully will be able to get to noted my complain.

                  I bought my hyundai i20 in oct-2013 from hmp. And i have done my regular service at hmp service centre in alandur, chennai.
                  Besides, the regular services i got my a/c condenser replaced in april'17. As summer camp was going on, they also had 24-point check and the sa confirmed vehicle is in good condition and can run until the next service due (40, 000km).
                  I hardly had driven 2000kms in the last 6 months and now the clutch is broken and am unable to move the car.
                  When asked for towing, i have been asked to make my own arrangements.

                  Is service centers cheating customers without performing the service?

                  Requesting you to suggest a good service centre in chennai as none of the service centers have good review ratings.
                  Also, arrange to the service for my car done at the earliest.

                    It’s been three years and six months and every time i leave for service they say problems are for because of some reasons which i am not convinced. How a vehicle with three years age can have these kind of problems. I am really concerned and i am starting to believe that this is because i was delivered defective piece.                       Hi this is kunal heera from ajmer. Rajasthan. Mob no. [protected].. I want to complain against shivam hyundai ajmer.. I bought a hyundai eon era+ in november 2015.. After 1 month only i found a problem in tge clutch of the car. The clutch is not working properly rather i would say it is of no use.. I went to the service centre many times regarding this issue.. But they have not provided me the solution yet.. I told them to replace my car's clutch plates. But they did not listen to me..

                        May i request the hyundai cars company india to correct the error of the mizoram state dealer showroom address.
                        The address location spelling is wrong which is misguiding the customer in this region.
                        If anyone who is responsible for the website of the company. Please rectify this spelling error.
                        Such a great brand car company should be little careful in spelling of the dealer location in india.

                          I am a customer of ishanya hyundai pune, i just bought a new xcent car for tours.
                          It's model is base plus abs. I paid total money to the dealer but they have not given me the promised gas kit. They delivered me the car on 22nd of august and promise to give me the cng gas kit fitted on 2nd of september but till today 19th of september i have not got my cng kit fitted in my car. I have to make much loss because of these people as interest also i have to pay and my business also got late for 15/17 days which goes to around average of 45000rs loss. Still they haven't given me any documents of tax receipt nor insurance papers nothing. Just fooling customer and ignoring. Worst service till date and as a customer m just fed up. Please help.                             I had paid servicing of my i10 magna car at eshanya hyundai at ambegaon, pune in july 2017. I requested for providing right mirror plate. They agreed but at delivery they said they could not get mirror due to gst and will give in 1week. Later till date i followed up for over 7 times but disappointed. Tried with others eg. Garve hyundai, n others even in satara, sangli but could not get it. I am forced to drive with a lot of risk on road. Request you to please do the needful at earliest. I hope you can understand the "driving without right mirror". It's frustrating every drive. Putting lot of psychological pressure and risk.

                              Our vehicle i20 elite magna was damaged in heavy rainfall on 21 august 2017. These people from that day, are just delaying us for no reason due to insurance claim we are asking for, repair and maintenance of the vehicle as vehicle was fully bumper to bumper insured with zero depreciation policy. Despite of the fact, the company is denying from the total loss to the vehicle. Also, they are just mentally harassing us from approx 25-28 days that is just causing loss to our mental and physical health and loss to our vehicle as it has been there in same water logged condition causing rust and unforeseen damage to its parts. Ultimately, i would sum up by saying they are just causing a loss to our hard earned money and health. I expect you to kindly pay attention to my plead and provide a possible solution as soon as possible.

                                I have purchased hyundai brand i 20 sportz car on 09.11.2011 from recognized hyundai dealer from goa motor pvt ltd, verna, goa. From the date of purchase, steering eps (Mdps) (Electronic power system) are repeat failed (1st on 16.01.11, 2nd 27.06.15 & 3rd 10.08.17), all failed within the period 1, 1 1/2 and 2 years from the date of replacement/repair. The steering got hard/jam unable to drive. I have submitted my letter of grievances with the dealer to find out the actual root cause of repeat failure of systems or fact find for this defect with hyundai motor india ltd. No action or responsibility has been taken by hyundai or any afford is made to resolve such a high risk & sensitive issue which is involved with big threat to safety and life. Again on 10.08.2017, after two years system failed for third time and presently car is given to goa motor pvt ltd, at verna goa. This time i have put my second letter of grievances and requested hyundai through dealer for fact finding the root cause of defect considering the human life & safety. Purchaser buy car with hard earn money for family, comfort and to enjoy and not to put somebody life in danger along with family. As per the finding on purchaser views on website is concerned, it is found this defect been occurred in hyundai a since birth mean production/manufacturing defect which hyundai has not resolved. Therefore as far as life & safety is concerned and been very a reputed company should take as very high responsibility and resolved this sensitive defect with guarantee & permanently to prevent any untoward incident happen with loss of life due to above otherwise it should be treated as murder not accident and hyundai motor india ltd should hold the responsibly for loss of life & property with full payment value amount to losses. I hope hyundai such a reputed car manufacturing unit should seriously and with due responsibility look into the matter considering the valuable life of the car occupant and on the road.
                                I have a Verna 2014 model with the same issue. The power steering motor MDPS has been changed three times. It has again failed. There is a part which engages the motor with the steering. This child part keeps failing. But the whole motor needs changing!! I don't have the confidence to take this car for long journeys. Service guys are advising replacement of entire steering column. Car has done only 33000 miles. Well maintained car, mostly highway miles. In addition, AC condenser and clutch plate gave up at 29000 miles!!. Rust is appearing in some parts of the body as well. Overall pathetic quality from Hyundai.
                                I also have a verna car purchased in 2012 from an authorised dealer from Kottayam, kerala. After 2 years of purchase its EPS motor changed, More than 10 times EPS repaired. so far 3 motors changed, one module changed. Yesterday again the EPS stopped working, The technician says its column should be replaced which will cost Rs.28000. So far only 60000kms.The car have been well maintained and singly used.
                                Its EPS is failing so frequently that I lost complete confidence on this car.

                                  I have multiple problems with hyundai i20 elite asta (O)

                                  Within 14 months, it started showing the following issues.
                                  - fog inside headlamps.
                                  - noise from silencer
                                  - a/c stop working after 1 hour drive.
                                  - bluetooth acts odd
                                  - 8inch display will not turn on intermittently. Will have to turn battery off/on multiple time to restore it.
                                  - can feel wiper movement in steering wheel.
                                  - dashboard illumination works intermittent only. Hard to control during night : (
                                  - doors started making noises.

                                  Car in warranty period, service centers not responding to the issues and just playing blame games.

                                  Very sad that service center people laughed at me when i explained the issue. They also said the issue with might be fixed or will persist.

                                  I have been chasing with two service centers for the last two months to fix the major issues with silencer, wiper and Headlamps, still the issue persists. One of the service centers replaced silencer, now the vehicle overall sound increased and see a major reduction in mileage. New issues are coming up day by day and at this point i stopped using the car and left it unused demanding the refund.

                                  Demanded refund with the dealer since these many issues happened during the warranty period itself. Not sure what all will happen after warranty period. Feel like the dealer delivered a faulty Car to me.

                                    I have purchased a hyundai creta car on 13/07/2016 from meghna hyundai-bongaigaon. Registration no. Of the car is as19j 1891. The warranty period of the car is 36 months (Three years) but within a period of 14 months of time the ac compressor of the car is not working/damaged (As per the communication made by the personnel/technicians of meghna hyundai on 15/09/2017).

                                    When i approach the show room personnel to repair the ac compressor of the car on 15/09/2017, i did not get a good response from them. There was no proper communication from the showroom personnel; they have not shown much interest about the problem. There was no proper reply from the showroom personnel, whether i should pay for the compressor replacement or will it be free of cost as the car is still in warranty period. It’s quit difficult to drive the car without ac, so we need an immediate solution for the same problem.

                                    The staff of meghna hyundai had taken the full responsibility and had charged rs. 79, 830.00 for the registration of my car but there is a serious mistake in the rc, the chassis no. Of the car is wrong in the rc. The chassis no. Is written as malc381clgm23131f but the correct chassis no. Of the car is malc381clgm123131f. This is the major mistake in the rc, if any accident happens in future; i will have to face many challenges for the same. I don’t understand how it happened while they had taken the full responsibility of the rc. I need immediate replacement of the rc without any extra cost from my pocket.

I was offered a corporate discount worth rs 5000 by cheque from the company which i didn't get yet.                                         I was a proud owner of hyundai cars and i am already having self driven hyundai i20 manual model 2010 december (Pb65m 0020) registered with sukhjinder kaur (My wife) and another hyundai creta 2014 september (Hr03t4751) registered with amandeep jassi (Me). Considering the performance of these cars i booked both auto and manual variant of new gen verna for 25000+25000rs, almost 25 days before launch because i was having faith in hyundai performance since 2010 and especially in hyundai engine low noise. When car launched on 22 august i requested the berkeley and ultimate for test drive of automatic variant but as told by sales person mr. Harpreet and sales manager mr. Gaurav of berkeley, "demo car for diesel automatic variant is not available as hyundai don't send automatic variants for demo car". But before the launch of car they asked me to test drive creta petrol auto variant that too in stockyard only and i was assured that the diesel engine of creta, manual variant of verna and auto variant engine is same and no need to worry. Even i was also having faith in hyundai that at least hyundai engines are pretty silent at all revs as i am already driving creta since last 2yrs and i20 since last 7yrs. But when i got the delivery of vehicle on 1 september at 7:00pm i immediately noticed the knocking sound from engine while i was driving home. I thought its due to low fuel as sales team told me that car is on low fuel. Then i got my tank full but car sounds the same. Next morning i informed the harpreet sales person and gaurav that car has knocking issue and they told to me drive and we will look into it. I thought car is new and its due to that only but this sound persists. Then car was taken to berkeley on 7/9/17 and mr jaspreet was called to check the car. He told me that this is normal sound of engine and we checked the other car near stockyard which is very short road.in that car sound was not much annoying. As he was senior technician then why he had to compare the sound of car with other car.in his mind he must have noticed the car noise but didn't wanted to utter about that. But i was not satisfied with that because there demo car is pretty silent and even my 7 yrs old i20 and 2 yrs old creta are pretty silent. This similar problem was seen in my i20 3-4 yrs back and was rectified by hyundai by changing injectors.

                                        Complaint was again registered on 11/9/17 and 12/9/17 and car was handed over to berkeley and they asked me to take the car back and were trying to deliver it without doing anything positive. But i refused to take the car back and car was with them till 16/9/17. Yesterday on 16/9/19, i took the car at 6:30pm as i was assured by service manager mr manjit and berkeley gm that we are working on this and u just drive the car back home. At that time i made note on delivery form that car will be returned to u on 17/9/17. Today on 17/9/17, i went to ultimate hyundai as suggested by hyundai customer care few days back and showed it to mr mann singh over there and he immediately noticed the issue of knocking and he told me this issue will be covered under warranty and asked me to meet mr paramjeet singh. Paramjeet singh over there assured me that this problem is due to injectors and advised me to better contact berkeley, from whom u have bought the car and then i returned the car to berkeley today morning. I told mr?? Ranbir about above talk with ultimate hyundai and they are telling that this noise is not normal. Then they started calling ultimate hyundai, to be silent about this matter. Ranbir called them in front of me while roaming around here and there and he told me that ultimate hyundai service team is coming here in berkeley. I went back home. Then in evening i got call from ultimate hyundai paramjeet singh that ur car perfectly alright. (Berkeley ranbir singh must have given my number bcoz i didn't dropped my number over there in ultimate hyundai neither vin number or temporary number). I went back again to berkeley in evening at around 5:30 pm and asked service manager about the visit of service team o[censored]ltimate hyundai in berkeley. He told me that they have not come. Berkeley and ultimate hyundai is making fun of me and now they have bind their hands together and they have made one decision that there is no issue in car and this sound is normal in automatics and these automatics are more noisy than manual ones. Now they are telling me that to stop comparing automatic and manual engines although engines are same which they assured me before taking delivery.

                                        If hyundai could have given me option to test drive the auto variant which they refused at that time, as hyundai don't send automatics for test drive, then i could have opted for manual which is far cheaper than this.

                                        Ultimate hyundai have noticed the knocking sound of car at first drive only and now they are denying it, so on that basis i want the replacement of car and if this problem is seen in all automatics then replace with manual variant

He was trying to convince me about the engine growl which usually automatics do just before the auto gear shift .Growl is good sound which we usually love to hear. But my car does “knock knock sound” even if we keep the car at particular rpm which not even a single car does as far as i know. At particular fixed rpm ; engine, torque converter and transmission are in sync and there should not be any noise and they are in kind of locked state. Hyundai appointed that guy for meeting with me, who have not even tried to test drove this auto or manual hyundai car before meeting me. After meeting he is telling me that he will drive the car and will see. This issue was reported to Berkeley within 12 hrs after taking delivery including night hours. I know that u will not accept this issue because its newly launched car and u don’t want to be in news by saying that this new car got issue on day 1. I will stop posting facebook comments if you are considering it to replace the car. You have not satisfied ur loyalist 7yr old customer inspite of spending 12.6 lakh on ur so called premium car. Why u people don’t understand one simple thing, i booked my car with u almost 25 days before launch expecting good product and performance because i was having high hopes and good faith in hyundai. We are already having 3 hyundai products costing 29lakhs + 12.60 lakh (new verna) with total cost of more than 40 lakhs. Even yesterday also, before meeting at Berkeley chd, we were planning for new elite i20 for my sis-in-law. Plan the meeting if u are considering to replace the car otherwise these complaints will go on social media, through mails and in person. Your product has created so much noise in our family too and affecting everyone and including mine health also. No peace of mind. U didn’t let me test drove the vehicle because hyundai don’t offer this for automatics which i was requesting again and again at that time. But i booked the car bcoz i was having faith in ur cars and ur cars are usually good .
