Hi,
This is to bring notice into your consideration that still I am facing the same issue since Nov-2013, it’s been more than 18 months but Hyundai will not able to solve the technical fault of my car. I would like to share my experience with Hyundai.
I had bought a Hyundai Santro in Oct-13, and the Registration Number is HR-51-AX-5477. In the month Of Nov-13 my car got breakdown, the music system got turned off automatically in the running car, and the Horn, power window, Lights was not functional properly and the engine gets off automatically, then I tried to start my car, it was not taking self.
Bu after waiting 15-20 minutes or connect with the another car battery, car gets start and runs fully functional. Then It will take proper self and everything runs smooth but after a day’s/weeks/month, vehicle suddenly behave like same, everything gets off.
Several times I have visited to the service centers and several times service center holds my vehicle for proper check, they have checked my vehicle properly, they gives time to my vehicle, they changed the alternator, battery, fuse spark plugs and few cables no.1 & no.2 . but still the problem is same.
Today again I have to face the same issue and sent my car to service center.
Although the service manager Mr. Rishi Handa (Safdarjung Hyundai) is very polite and Gentle and understand the problem very politely and always tried to keep his customer happy by giving his efforts and time to the vehicle, even I came to know that he checked my vehicle himself and kept my vehicle under his guidance, he changed the battery of the vehicle, checked wiring, changed alternator, fuse, Changed spark plugs and few wire but still I have not get rid of it.
But unfortunately they were not able to give me the appropriate solution, even after 18 months I am facing the same issue with my Vehicle.
Although I am very happy with his cooperation and all the support which he give me at the time of problem.
I have maintain the service records of the regular service of my vehicle and complaints which I have registered with the service center and records when I have sent my vehicle to the service. According to me I have sent my vehicle to service center at least 10 times for the same issue in last 18 months apart from the service.
Today when I have faced the issue again when car was behaving abnormal and the music system gets off & on within seconds and horn was not working, lights were not working, power window and central locking were also not functional, at that time I have recorded the abnormality of the vehicle into the Video clip in which you can realize that music system gets on & off by noticing the sound, within a second and the temperature of car was on cool side when car was running with the speed of 60kmph.
Attached is the video and records for servicing and complaints made in last 18 months. Well theses records are not complete records. However you can check the record with the Safdarjung Hyundai service center database.
At last I would like to say please appoint a technical person who can understand the problem and help me out to get rid of this problem and provide me the permanent solution.
Otherwise I have to go legal and file a case against Hyundai in Consumer court or I have to take help of social media.

This is just update the status that I went to saffdarjung Hyundai Service center on 25-July-15, regarding the same problem. I met there with Mr. Mukesh (Service Manager) and told him the exact problem running with my car.
Mr. Mukesh behaved me very well and politely. They tried to solve my problem. He checked my Car battery with the help of electrician, and he found the battery uncharged or down. After that he took my battery and provide me the another service battery and asked me to leave the faulty battery with the service center for the proper check and to identify the problem. Then I called him on 28-July-14 to know the status of battery. According to him the battery was faulty and not getting charged. After that he raised a complaint to Exide batteries for the same and submitted the battery to Exide on 29-July-14. On 30-July-14 I got a message from Exide that battery tested, found ok, please collect your battery.
Now the problem is Mr. Mukesh also checked the battery and he found faulty, but as per Exide the battery is working ok. I shared all the facts with Mr. Mukesh, then he assured me that Exide has checked the battery and replaced the water of battery, now you can use this battery, but again if your got breakdown due to battery issue, we will replace the battery and now I am using the same battery. But I will not tolerate if the battery not work properly and my car got breakdown due to battery.
As last my experience was very good with the Safdarjung Hyundai, Mr. Mukesh works like a professional and understands the problem so gently.

After waiting 10 mins on the road side I tried again to start the car, then all the system connected with the battery start working properly. After that I visited to Hyundai Service centre (Mahadev- Mathura Road), the told my problem to the Service Executive, he suggested me to go Main Hyundai Centre ( Sarita Vihar, New Delhi). After that I visited to Hyundai service centre – Sarita Vihar directly from the Mahadev Hyundai Service centre. I met with service manager there and told him the actual problem of my car, but at that time they are making excuse that today is Saturday and we already have many cars for service in our centre, you have to come down on Monday, I pressurize him to check my car properly otherwise I have to make a complaint to Hyundai customer care, then he assigned a service executive to me for checking the car, he start my car and took a round of the road of 1Km and he did not checked the battery, after taking a round he said, I don’t think that there is a problem in the vehicle, I again forced him to check the battery properly, then he said we can update the ECM software then the problem will be solved and asked me to come again if the problem persists.
But yesterday again my car got breakdown in the mid of the way, again the problem was same, I called the local mechanic, after checking the vehicle, he start my car with another battery as the battery of my car got discharged.
This is the third time my car got breakdown in mid of the way due to the battery problem, and I am very disappointing to writing a mail to you. This is really a very pathetic experience for me.
Request you to look in to this and solve the problem at the earliest.

hence forwarding the letter to everybody, hoping someone will be able to step up and save the image of Hyundai...
Here is the complete account of series of events that has given me a mental torture and trauma since past 3 months
The delivery of Vehicle happened in the most pathetic way. I, along with my family and 3 little kids, was made to wait for more than 4 hours, when I had already followed up 100 times and confirmed the time of delivery. Mr Shashank Gupta, who is the co-owner, and Nephew of the Owner (Mr Rajesh Gupta), was indifferent of our plight and went to an extent to say that Shahdol and Bangalore dealership of Hyundai cannot be compared.. and that I should compromise since I am buying Hundai vehicle at Shahdol
The compromised were, Vehicle not properly cleaned, no floor mats, no welcome song, no picture, no buquet. nothing at all to delight my purchase
I raised my complaint to Mr Abhishek Sharma, Subodh Gautam And Ritika Gangrade who very cleverly submitted my fake signed document of satisfaction & closed the matter twice, and I came to know about this after a long time, when a lady from Hyundai called me from the following number[protected], where Mr Abhishek Sharma was also on the line.
Please be aware, fake signing a document on someones behalf is a criminal offence
I was promised for rs 10000 accessories by Gupta hyundai, for which I have visited their showroom multiple times (4 times to be specific), but every time, an excuse has been made and never have they provided the accessories. to add to the plight, Mr Gupta was never present at the showroom and is so arrogant that he did not even bothered to call me even once.
I was charged more than the amount that was paid for RTO, and when I asked for the reciepts, I never got it. They also were not doing the registration and lingered the process for almost 3 months, and when I got personally involved myself only then I got my vehicles registration number.
I left my vehicle for 1st servicing, and had left the vehicle for few extra days, as they promised to fit the accessories during 1st servicing, but instead of providing those, Gupta Hyundai charged me 2800 rs for extra day parking, which was forcefully taken from me. though they never gave any receipt.
Gupta Hyundai has been sending me letter on the name of Mr. Sunil Jaisawal, who is a sales executive in their showroom, however when I talk to him, he says he has not sent any letter/email, and that Gupta Automobile is using his name unlawfully. This can be again a court case...
Its enough of mental torture that your dealer has sent me through. Kindly intervene, else I have no other option, that to go to consumer court.
Here is what my expectations are
* A detailed justification on the complete matter
* A Apology letter from Gupta Automobiles on their letterhead, accepting the responsibility
* RTO receipt of Rs. 54, 436/-
* Receipt against Rs. 2800/- paid as car parking charges.
* Justification against Rs. 4000/- paid by me as Logistic charges.
Please note, I was asked multiple times by Abhishek & Subodh, that I should tell the resolution and they will provide it to me, I had given them the same list of expectation, where they played foul and submitted my fake signed satisfaction letter..
I hope my concern would be heard
