This is one of the worst experiences with goibibo, i feel i’m being cheated and penalised for their mere irresponsibility, i had a planned vacation on the 4th april to singapore, but i gave the team a heads up in feb that i will not be able to travel due to covid that too with my 4 year old baby, the airlines got cancelled however the refund was made but the hotelier denied the cancellation, i was very clear to the team that it doesn’t make sense not refunding the amount rs 20, 000 during a lockdown period where there absolutely no chance of going out of country and singapore was locked down, not sure how they expect me to travel. I have written to the team some 20 times, and called some zillion times but the agents were least responsible in providing a resolution to this until today. To my surprise i get an email saying “hope you had a pleasant stay in the hotel’ i have been trying to submit a web form in the app but since it is showing as stayed i’m unable to submit a query and the call centres are not functioning, i am being traumatised with the unruly behaviour of goibibo team. I did not cancel because one of the executive mentioned if i cancel from my end i will not be able to get a 100% refund, this was recorded in one of the calls.
Request you to kindly process the refund in the original form of payment made: rs 20k

Updated by deepikakotra I made a hotel booking at singapore but due to the pandemic, covid19 and lockdown all over i was unable to travel and informed the same to the ibibo team, however they were least responsive and didnΓ’β¬β’t bother to respond on the resolution to the complaint raised which shows their irresponsible behaviour since feb until today. I had incurred a loss of 20k
