I have booked hotel for 1st to 2nd december. After reaching hotel i found that there is no booking for me. I called customer care, the executive asked me book a hotel by my own with a limit of 6000/- and difference amount will reimbursed. I have been following them since then and they are making false promise with me to wait for 5 -15 days.. They customer care executes are also very much ill mannered.

    Hello, i had booked “caravela beach resort” in goa from 2 jan 19 to 5 jan 19 from goibibo app. The booking amount was 96700. While booking, i had applied a promo code cashback according to which if i make payment through my debit/credit card then i ll get approx 20% cashback after i checkout from the resort. Which i haven’t received till now.

    I am calling customer care people for last two days who are not responding well and behaving rudely. I have also mailed the booking confirmation received on my email in which it is mentioned that the promocode applied is cashback because the goibibo people are now saying that i have not applied any promocode. How could they make this false statement when they know that i have the proof.

    Well, finally i am forced to submit the complaint here and going to do it on other consumer forums and facebook. It is a request to please solve the issue.

    I had booked a resort in goa from 2 jan 19 to 5 jan 19. My booking id is htlw3jcv9k and booking amount is 96761. While booking, i applied a promocode cashback according to which if i make the payment through debit/credit card, i ll receive 20% cashback after checkout. My stay at the resort was awesome, but after checkout, i did not receive any cashback nor any notification.

    I tried calling the customer care people and they are saying that no promocode was applied!!! How can they give such false statements when i have the proof. When i booked the resort, i received a confirmation email from goibibo and in that email it is stated promocode applied: cashback. So the customer care people asked for the screen short of the mail which i have already sent.

    One of the customer care person was so rude like it was my fault and not the company’s!!! He straight away said “koi cashback nai milega” and so rudely; i haven’t seen any customer care person talking so rudely.

    Well after all this harrasment, i am forced to submit a complaint here. Hopefully it will get resolved and i ll get my cashback which i deserve.

      I booked a cab on goibibo app from chhatrapati shivaji international airport mumbai to pune on 7th jan’2018. My goibibo booking pnr carpif8an0pvckx. The cab departure time was 4:30am from the airport. I received a call from cab drive at 2:00am informing me that he will reach airport at 4:00am. At 4am i received another call from the driver (Shubham) from a different number and he said that he will be late by 10mins but will be there by 4:40am. I waited for 30mins outside the airport till the cab arrived at 5:00am. I called the cab driver again to confirm if he has arrived, when i realized that the cab detailed (Cab number, driver name, and number) i had received are not matching with the cab that has arrived. I refused to board the cab keeping in mind my safety concerns and called goibibo customer care number to understand what was happening. Nitin from customer care service confirmed that the driver who was booked earlier to pick me up from the airport had declined the trip and hence a new driver was assigned to me without informing me. I was surprised at this because i didn’t receive any call, sms, email or update on the goibibo app in regard to this change. I was highly disappointed and annoyed at this because the customer care absolutely denied to help me by saying we cannot update the cab detailed on your goibibo app since the system does not allow for it. My question was then how the hell will i know that my cab has changed, and a new cab is allotted if you are not going to sms, email, or update the same on the app, then what’s the point in having one. After all the arguments, i boarded the cab post receiving the email from goibibo at 5:28am with new cab details. Since the call went on for 40mins, the cab driver had to wait at airport parking for which he was charged a parking ticket of rs.220 (110 for every 30mins) which he later handed over to me to pay back to him. It wasn’t my mistake that he had to wait at parking since i couldn’t board a cab for which i have not received any information and even the customer care was not helpful. I refused to pay it back. As if all of this was not sufficient, when i reached pune the cab driver asked me to pay him parking ticket along with money for 8kms extra ride. I was amazed at this coz i had entered end to end destination on goibibo app and made the full payment (Rs.1742) in advance online for 145kms. The driver had to wait at parking coz of the mistake from goibibo’s end, he had to stop for his morning tea in between the trip and his car tank was not full so we had to go to a petrol pump, considering all of these events if the kms on this car went up, again it wasn’t my mistake. I conveyed this to goibibo customer care when the agent on the call said that he can’t help it and i have to pay for the parking ticket and extra kms. I refused to pay for anything since i had already made the payment online and it was their mistake for which there were not apologetic at all.

        I booked a ticket from goibibo and later called to reschedule the same. The executive escused with the reason system not working and asked will give a call within an hour. But no call received from end. Again I called and requested the representative to share the charges I have to pay against the same. With same excuse they assured for call back. On my fifth call the executive said that penalty is approx 19k plus extra ticket charges as applicable. It was surprising because i received price confirmation on mail as 9500/_ and also total fare for round trip at that day was approx 19k. I asked the executive to recheck the same and confirm. Since the day approx 10 days I have given several call and everytime have a same reply that we ate are arranging call back which is, , , , , , , , , today I requested to transfer the call to supervisor hoping can understand mu issue but execute replied that we have to early mail the issue to the senior and after proper time, senior will give call. Direct interaction with the personal is not possible am very sorry for the worst and pathetic response from customer care. Would never buy any ticket from goibibo nor would suggest anybody to take service from you for free also.

            I had booked two room of 5103 & 7501 on 25th dec 208 in agra. When we checked into the rooms at 8pm, we found the rooms so dirty and smelly. The linen was soiled and when asked to change, we were told that their customers eat on it hence it’s like tht and won’t chnge. After a lot of struggle they showed us another room but only one which was again not tht great. Ultimately we had to search for another hotel and move out. We spent double just bcoz these ppl showed gud clean rooms and not the reality.
            I demand refund of at least one room for this inconvenience caused. I was traveling without my husband and with kids.
            We felt so scared in a city like agra without knowing anyone.

              Go cash earned is showing credited is my account but i can not use and msg is notification showing that any suspicious activity is done in my account but no advance notice is given before a action like lock the wallet and not mentioned any genuine reason of lock. It is a planned cheating by a reputed online site.

                I have tried doing bus booking via red bus and the booking failed on there end while the seats i was booking showed full and amount was deducted also no other bus was available of that category himsuta volvo for shimla delhi at that moment so i booked lower category bus from the wallet balance which was transferred as a refund but now i have 369/- rs left in wallet of redbus there recharge system doesn't work also i need that money but customer care is not responding as its there fault . please transfer my wallet balance amount to my bank account . i have already mailed Neft details at [protected]@redbus.

                  The goibibo issue ticket number. 25840091.
                  (No proper response and feeling like cheating me)

                  I have an issue with my refund for international flight pnr :sv/j88825.
                  The calculation of penalty for my flight cancelation is not acceptable. Immediately after booking the ticket i created a ticket for detailed enquiry for my flight cancelation and reschedule. (I may needs to change the dates) and the ticket number is :#25840091. (Please find the attachment) as per this incident ticket, i got a penalty fee details via email from goibibo support team for the flight cancellation. I am attaching the email copy received from goibibo. As per communication previously agreed penalty amount is rs 7116 for the flight pnr j8825. Now i can see a huge difference between my amount paid and penalty and this is not at all acceptable. Flight booking amount : 49, 319 inr (As per email from goibibo) amount paid for kuwait airlines : 24, 264 inr (As per email from goibibo) amount paid for saudi airlines : 25, 055 inr total penalty of saudi airlines cancelation : 7116 inr (As per email from goibibo) total expected refund amount for saudi cancelation is 17, 939 inr i am creating the ticket today because i got a refund message from you which is not at all correct and not matching with initial email you sent with penalty details. Please refund the amount mention as policy

                  Also i would i like to mention. I did a cancelation
                  Of flight becausee the pnr :sv/j88825 flight is not available for all my provided dates and booked other flight from goibibo only. Looking forward for the reply. Please take this as high priority.!!

                  All your references can be seen by
                  1. air carrier
                  2. or the travel agent, if any
                  2. Passenger
                  only untill you attached the documnet for a public observation.

                  There is no suficient information for objective verifiction here. You need to svae and to show -
                  1. issued e-ticket, it contains 13 digits
                  2. issued flight reservation (usually it shall contant refrence to 6 digit number of the air carrier) .
                  3. a receipt, if no paid ammount is stated in the ticket.
                  For example, it can be extract bank account or the invoice.
                  4. Your own complaint wich states a good reason, figures and exact request, which you expect from operator of the site.
                  5. Issued refund / decision with fugures.

                  Such documents are not attched and not seen in the text of the complaint here.
                  Each complaint has produce the place (airport) and date/time of the events.

                  All complaints have to be submitted in written, by email or in person to the respected service provider air carrier at their sites, to their email boxes or in person as soon as you had found the fault.

                  The air carrier or the service provider, which is expected to issue the refund or the compensation by your,
                  has the time of 15 days, if in India, either
                  - to refund or
                  - to compensate or
                  - to issue the other decsion
                  following the receipt of the correct complaint.

                  The passenger is advised to save each above documents and the reply / decsiob for 6 months at least till your next step.

                  Note, it is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same service provider.

                  All disputes in 15 days following the correct complaint receipt are subject of the examination by Indian court or by court in Saudi Arabia (if Saudia air carrier was involved in dispute).

                  The expected expences for legal assitance can be:
                  -- government fees for Indian courts, from 200 or from 2000 ruppes + own efforts,
                  or
                  -- government fees for KSA courts, from ~250 SAR,
                  - legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional start from ~5000 rupees, if in India, depening upon the sum, complicity and length.

                  The fair court must award all losses, moral harm, paid legal fees/charges by final judgemnt.

                  We have did booking on site and paid cash, but not get ticket or refund. Ph :[protected] chennai to gauhati. If you cant provide ticket, we need refund today itself. We can't wait for a month to get our cash back. This is not the proper way to deal with customers. If you can provide service, then you have to return cash that instant itself.

                    This is to highlight a breach of trust, harassment and cheating that has happened in my booking via goibibo, despite paying a premium for the connection guarantee.

                    Please note despite having a connection guarantee i am getting no refund for the chennai colombo flight which is missed due to cancellation of the first leg for no fault of mine. Please find below the details

                    The itinerary

                    I was supposed to travel from mumbai to colombo with my friend from the following connecting flights (Please note both o[censored]s have the exact same itinerary):
                    Mumbai - chennai: 22nd december, departure 7:30 pm: indigo airlines 6e 675
                    Chennai - mumbai: 23rd december, departure: 12:05 am: spice jet

                    What happened (The events below are stated for both mine and my friends situation as i was talking for both)
                    22nd december: 1:06 pm
                    The mumbai chennai flight got cancelled and i received a message from the airlines that the flight has been cancelled. Please note no prior intimation was given for this.

                    22nd december: 1:32 pm
                    After contacting goibibo customer service, (Service request id:[protected] the customer care executive registered my complaint and scheduled a call within 15 minutes to resolve my situation. Please note that this was after approximately 15 minutes of waiting where the customer care executive was not even aware that the flight has been cancelled.

                    22nd december: 1:58 pm
                    The customer care executive calls me back and gives me 2 options:
                    Option 1 - cancel the mumbai chennai leg with full refund guarantee.
                    Option 2 - cancel the mumbai chennai and the chennai colombo leg with full refund as per policy and alignment with his supervisor.

                    Harassment: despite requesting for an alternate flight. No effort was made by the executive to try and resolve my situation. Please note that this was outrageous and led to severe stress and trauma.

                    22nd december: 2:15 pm
                    The customer care executive then tells me that he can only cancel the domestic leg and i will need to cancel the international leg on another hotline. On asking what the total refund amount would be he said he can only give me an answer for the domestic leg.

                    Harassment: all alternate flight options meant i would need to pay an extra 20, 000 inr. Without the clarity on total refund amount i could not choose what to do next. You executive instead of helping me redirected me to another hotline, which meant it took more time to get clarity and the fares increased further. At this point i was close to a nervous breakdown due to the severe nature of harassment and breach of trust.

                    22nd december: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Approximately)
                    I talk to the international customer care (Service request id[protected] and they tell me that i am eligible for a full refund. On requesting the amount, the executive asked me to cancel my domestic leg first and in the meanwhile she will initiate the cancellation proceedings with spice jet and call me back.

                    Harassment: i was forced to again call the domestic leg! Despite being on call for over a hour and a half. I told the executive how harassed i was feeling but no response.

                    I then called the domestic service executive again - who again went through the entire process, i. E. First the executive told me that she is not aware that the flight is cancelled, then she spoke to the supervisor and then agreed to cancel my ticket.

                    Post this i received a call from the international leg customer care executive and she told me that the flight has been cancelled and refund will be initiated. She took the cancellation otp from me to finalize the cancellation.

                    Final harassment, cheating and trauma - i received a message from go ibibo that i am getting 0 refund for my chennai colombo flight. This is despite the commitment given by your executives and a me paying a premium of a connection guarantee. Not to mention the last-minute ticket booking for an alternate flight which costed me an additional inr 25, 000 per head and a total amount of approximately inr 50, 000 for the 2-affected people.

                    Currently i am in severe mental trauma because of this and need your help to get this query resolved.

                    1. To suppose to travel does mean you have a valid e-ticet / confirmed reservation, which are not attched

                    2. The valid complaint have to demonstrate
                    - full name of auther, addres, email, (note the population of India is more than 1, 3 bln)
                    - addrssse - legal entity
                    - desription of the event (lets suppose the are given)

                    3. you stated "despite having a connection guarantee I am getting no refund for the chennai colombo flight".
                    it is unclear the good reason, why unknown person must give you unidentified refund from his pocket in unidentified sircumstances.

                    4. So called "Goibibo" and other Indian travel agencies violate law time to time and make damage to their customers. It is a common practice in travel inductry.
                    But I did not see any complaint at this site, which proves 100% that damage is sustaned and proved at leat in theory.

                      I booked a hotel on goibibo. My goibibo hotel booking id is htlyu5satv. I booked a room for 3 adults and on contacting with the hotel front desk i came to know the following shocking truths :
                      1. Only 1 double bed is provided whereas we were promised of an extra bed along with a double bed.
                      2. We paid 23387 and the hotel staff confirmed that they received a payment of 21660. So where did the remaining money go?

                        The stay was booked and confirmed a day ago, however, when i contacted hotelier he said he did not receive any booking from ibibo and nothing has been booked. Also, there was no room available.
                        It was a room facility and the alternative property which was offered by goibibo was a camp site which was never preferred but as there was no other option available i had to go for that.
                        This was worst as it messed up the time and experience for new year.

                            Hi,

                            I book a hotel in puri booking id is htl3xe5zwu. First of all i want to mention why i booked the hotel. I wanted a decent see facing room with ac, good communication.in reality there was no mobile and data network in the room, no frequent public communication, no stationary shop, no medicine shop. Every time i wanted to receive a call, i had to go out side of the hotel. I had to waited for long time for an auto or riksha, event hotel staff told us there was no wifi connection. I had paid the whole hotel fare 11500/- at the time of booking the hotel through goibibo. Once i faced the problem i checked out the hotel. But goibibo is telling now the problem that we faced is not related to hotel. So they do refund the money. I provided them all the photos those are enough to proof my claim. After investigating they are ready to refund the 25% of the hotel fare. But i demand for 75 % of the hotel fare. Goibibo are demanding themselves as a intermediate between the customer and hotel. But i booked the hotel through goibibo. I came to know about the hotel through goibibo website. But they do not want to take the responsibility for my harassment. After checking out from the hotel, i had to move into a another hotel of the same amount of fare with all the facility that i wanted to have. Once i faced the problem i immediately checked out from the hotel. They should check the hotels and surrounding of the hotel before permitting the hotel management to post the hotel details on their website.

                              I had booked a hotel in Mumbai for one day from 31st december 2018 to 1st January 2019 from goibibo site for my niece who is 17 years old.
                              When my Niece arrived at the hotel he was not allowed to enter and was denied to stay stating they are underage and as per policy we cannot allow them to stay.

                              I had checked the same on the goibibo page and under the Hotel Policy section that if there was anything mentioned regarding underage and any policy which stated that you will not be allowed to stay if you are not above 18 years.
                              But there was nothing written and that was the reason I had booked the hotel without looking further.
                              I only intend for a refund of the booking which I had done as its total hotel fault and not mine so why should I take the hit and hotel stands there with no harm done.

                                Last min i asked if they can help me with some air tickets rather me searching online and the team could not assist me.

                                Irony was the driver calls me in the morning and said "i had slept and couldn't come can i come now"

                                  I have booked a hotel room in munnar, kerala, via goibibo for the new year 31 dec 2018 to 1 jan 2019 and paid the full amount online.
                                  Everything was fine, and due to my bike issue reached the hotel late.. As i have already informed via chat.
                                  Goibibo has given a contact number fot the hotel which were the oyo number, and they said they cant track as booking is doñe by goibibo.

                                  The main consirn starts here, while reaching the hotel, there was no reception, i found somehow the watchman, and he said the hotel is no more. Its been acquired by pwd department.
                                  Everything was same, including the hotel name, pic,... I will attach the pics...
                                  And unfortunately, they have spoiled my new year.

                                  So, it was the fake booking. I end up with finding other hotel and managed somehow.
