I have faced the worst service from you which resulted in ruining my anniversary. Now the only thing I want is refund of amount I paid for your service, as the service provided by you were not as per what was promised.
Below is the flow of events –
1. Booking - I did booking for Kumar Resorts, Lonavala on 15th January. The booking was for 17th and 18th night. I got confirmation mail from Goibibo that my room is booked and “No need to reconfirm and contact to Hotel”. Booking ID HTLZ7M8FDX.
2. Checking not allowed - On 17th When I reached hotel, the manager Alok said that there is no room and didn’t allowed me to check in. He clearly mentioned that he has already updated Goibibo about non availability of rooms and it was Goibio’s fault for not updating the guest. There was no update from Goibbo about non availability of rooms even after Confirmed bookings. I was in a very bad situation there with my wife and 2 under 3 years daughters.
3. Goibibo Customer Care Harassment – First of all, there is really lack of empathy in your CR team, they try the patience level of the customer. They don’t understand the issue, they aks the same things again and again and further, they don’t update the status and log in the system so the customer have to explain the issue repeatedly. I have to contact your customer care 5 times and explain the issue for 45 minutes. And all this time, I has on road with my family (including 2 under 3 years daughters).
4. False claim of call back and hold – The executives committed two things – they will put my call on hold for 5 mins, but the hold time was over 20 mins with no response from other side. Second they confirmed call back within 10 mins, but I never got call back, every time had to call back with new executive on other side and I have to explain the issue again and again. Again all this at the start of my anniversary vacation with my family.
5. Alternate accommodation by Goibibo of lower quality– Your team promised me alternate accommodation and confirmed that it would be better than existing booking was it was fault of Goibibo. But it was just a false claim, even after waiting for 45 mins and 5 times connecting with your 5 different executives, the alternate they were providing were even worse. My booking was of 3, 500 per night, and the alternate provided by Goibibo was under 2, 000.
6. My time waste to search alternate accommodation – As Goibibo was not able to provide right alternate room, I had to waste my vacation time and search for alternate room. This too with my family and 2 daughters on road. After wasting time and suggesting two alternates, Goibibo rejected all my suggestions ( with reasons best known to them). Then again I have to search 3rd alternate which took Goibibo team over 2 hours to confirm.
7. False commitment to arrange for call back confirmation and conference call with hotel – To avoid similar issue, I requested Goibibo team to arrange call back and confirmation from hotel, but even after commitment, as usual your team didn’t fulfil the commitment. Going a step further in worst service, when I requested your team that shall I check with the hotel first before taking my family there. But your team told directly to go with family. And when I reached there (Avion Resorts), they told me that there is no booking in my name.
8. Same issue of Check in Alternate Hotel – Because of worst service from your team, me and my family has to again face the same issue of check in New hotel also. The receptionist at new hotel told me that there is no booking in my name. I had to again call Goibibo and connect them to hotel. So, practically on my anniversary vacation, I was trying to connect Goibibo and hotel. Your executive was not able to connect to hotel also!!
9. Wrong pricing and false claims – When I asked your team to provide the amount of alternate hotel, they sent me a voucher of 10, 000 stating that Goibibo has paid 10, 000 to Hotel for this booking. This was a lie, when the same room was available to retail customer at much lower rate. I even saw a copy of mail from Goibibo to hotel where the price was mentioned around 7500. So this is how you fool the customers.
10. False claim of service issue resolution – Your team just gives vague timelines to provide resolution which are just lies, one says 20 min, other says 1 hour and service request mail says 2 hours. This is just to give false commitment to customers.
11. False claim of GoCash – Your mail confirmed 100 Go cash for every hour of delay in service resolution, but its been over 100 hours, neither the issue is resolved nor I have received and GoCash.
On account of above worst service and ruining my vacation and hurting and impacting my marriage life by keeping my wife and 2 young daughters on road that too on the day of arrival and 1st day of my vacation, I demand 100 % refund of my money in addition to the claim of damage done to my married life.
If I don’t get 100% refund within 12 hours, I will expose you on social media in addition to take legal action against your false claims and ruining my marriage life.
