I had booked train ticket from Goibibo woth free cancellation policy.
After the cancellation they did not process the full refund. Tried to contact them several times and no response from their side . Sent several emails. Too.
Very bad experience

    Hi,
    This is regarding the bus booking for 30th May 2022 (2 tickets) from Haridwar to Delhi of Mahalaxmi Travels ISO 9001:2015 amounting to Rs. 1678 (paid Rs. 1628 through credit card and Rs. 50 through Mywallet) having booking ID GOBUSAND6C99611FC5 and PNR 676BV6A9.

    On the date of journey i.e. 30th May 2022, the bus operator cancelled the booking without any reason. After that, I created a ticket with goibibo having task ID:[protected] on 30th May 2022 at 07:01 AM to get the refund.

    In response, a message was received from Mahalaxmi Travels on 31st May 2022 at 03:07 PM, which is as follows:
    "Dear customer, your ticket is cancelled. Haridwar To Delhi Date: 30/05/2022, PNR: 1175764, Seats: 52, 53, cancelled with Refund Amount: 1677.9, Thanks We would like to see you again, Website URL: www.mahalaxmibus.in - Mahalaxmi Travels"

    After that, my support ticket was closed by goibibo on 31st May 2022 at 06:31 PM.

    Now, since the refund has been initiated by the Mahalaxmi Travels on 31st May 2022, I have not received the refund of Rs. 1678 from Goibibo (Rs. 1628 through credit card and Rs. 50 through Mywallet).

    Also, the support ticket is closed by Goibibo. There is not any way possible to connect to Goibibo customer care, neither by chat, nor by call. Every time I call customer care, the computer robot says our executive will look into the matter and revert back to you. No response has been received from GOIBIBO in the last one month.

    In view of above, It is requested to look into the matter and provide my refund of Rs. 1678 (Rs. 1628 through credit card and Rs. 50 through Mywallet) at the earliest.

        AbhinayaSri.k, incident happened goibibo app {goibibo acc info- ([protected]@gmail.com, [protected])} on[protected] at 20:37, using upi GPAY transaction Id[protected]sbi bank) of amount Rs.452, money debited from my acc but transaction failed for my ticket booking from kacheguda railway to vskp for[protected]. so, i again booked my tickets using other 2nd transaction PHONEPAY [protected] upi with (union bank) transaction ID- T2206262040595162643432 and this transaction accepted and tickets booked. so till now i didnt get my 1st transaction amount refund to my account.

              Hi Team,

              We have done the booking for the Pahalgam hotel: Hotel Green Heaven through Goibibo. The booking details are as below:
              Booking ID - HTLDVAO3QGMMAYWV Date: 13-14th June
              Booking ID - HTLDVAOLXDYU9QDE Date 13-14th June
              Booking ID - HTLDNAOVK5XHJ7K5 Date: 12th -13th June

              When we reached the hotel on 12th June, we say that there is not way to reach the hotel by a car/tempo traveller, We have to get down at the main road and go through a very narrow and slippery road. We have two senior citizens for whom reaching through this route was completely impossible due to their knee pain. There is no provision of wheel chair as well. We request the person at the hotel to provide us a room at any of the hotel on the main road where my parents can stay. They denied. We requested for the manager and he was unavailable. I immediately called the Goibibo service team and informed them about the situation and requested for the refund. Since the free cancellation period for the booking was till 10th June they did not helped us. How can we know if a hotel is good or bad without seeing it? We requested the staff to refund our money so that we can stay on another hotel on the main road and they denied. They even started threatening us. Please note that we never checked in the hotel.
              Goibibo is not providing us with any refund. I would request the Government to take action against Goibibo for providing incorrect Hotel details for the customer to book and no resolution from their end.

                      Had booked a hotel glenroy mussoorie for 2 rooms 2 days they had shown very beautiful photos of hotel but as I read the people's review I called the goibibo about that reviews they said to ask the query to hotel .I called the hotel to send me the room pictures they have sended me the rooms picture showing balcony and nice rooms look then I asked the location he said the location is very prime it is near to road I asked then many times that if the roads are Good they said it's a little small but car comes very easily they have there own parking but when I reached mussoorie maal road after 30 minutes traffic jam I have to pay 150 every car entry then in heavy public we try to find the hotel no one ask about 1\2 an hour then I ask the hotel to guide us he ask to get the car in a very narrow gully road the road was so steap around 500 metre down after 5 very narrow turns where car cannot goes our toyota car back bumper get damaged on every turn you need to 5 time reverse and forward I reached the hotel they had parking on hotel and the showed 3 floor down basement room with no proper ventilation there is too much suffocation over there there are bed bugs in rooms when I asked them that there is no. Lift in hotel no breakfast in hotel .no source to reach to up on road I cannot Walt soo steap high road cancel my booking refund they wasted 3-4 hours o[censored]s they behaved very ill manner after waiting 3-4 hours at 6:30 I left the hotel without check-in the hotel staff and manager is really I'll mannerd and check in another hotel at 8:45 and and we all get sick that night

                        Hi Goibibo Team,

                        Let me give you some background along with my worst experience with third-party services.

                        I am Pooja Rajput from Melbourne Australia, came to India after 3 years to spend some quality time with my family members for a month. Booked urgent flight tickets for 25th June 2022, at 3:10 PM from Dehradun to Mumbai. Unfortunately, i faced technical difficulties while booking the tickets. Your gateway which connects to the flight portal was not working in the best condition, as i selected the date 25 June, it was getting auto changed to 25th July. I had to add the details 6 times to book one ticket, 6th time when the ticket was booked the date was again updated to 25th June, post-booking when we reached airport on 25th June, airport authority said that your ticket is booked for July. My entire family of 6 Adults was waiting outside Jolly Grant Airport in this Heat like a Homeless person until I was explaining this to you goibibo customer service support.

                        I did not receive any positive response from your team as expected as i am a first-time user. In Australia we do not have a culture to record anything, they believe in their customers and support in every means, but it seems not the same everywhere.

                        We had to book urgent tickets by Paying 15, 000 per person at the airport as we had to cut off from our 15 days Family Trip and reach Mumbai to attend to a sad demise in my immediate family.

                        My only expectation from Goibibo is to reimburse my full refund and cancel the trip as it is of no use now. The purpose had not been served.

                        As a valued multi-national company you should assist genuine customers and understand their issues. You can only earn trust from customers if you support them and keep them happy, once your name is shamed then your reputation will be impacted.

                        I was also advised that for a refund we cannot promise but will give a call back in 24 hours, which i haven't received. I called back your customer support had to explain the same problem the 14th time since yesterday and the response was i will email to the supervisor to call you back and the call was closed.

                        This is the pathetic experience i am getting from your company, no one is responsible and no one cares about the customer's emotions.

                        PLEASE REFUND IN FULL - 37 THOUSAND RUPEES, AS I HAD TO PAY NEARLY 70 THOUSAND FOR TICKETS BECAUSE OF YOUR TECHNICAL GETAWAY GLITCHES.

                        ON TOP OF THAT YOUR TEAM IS NOT READY TO ACCEPT THIS TECHNICAL FAULT, THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER TRUST HERE.

                        WHERE THERE IS NO TRUST THERE IS NO SCOPE FOR THE FUTURE SUCCESS.

                          I tried to do Lucknow - Mumbai flight booking on 25th June, 2022 from GoIbibo. Amount is debited from bank account but no fight ticket is booked. I tried to report this issue with GoIbibo, called on their India support no:[protected] however found no option to report failed booking.

                            I have booked the hotel klg startlite, chandigarh for full payment of rs. 4654. through there APP on[protected]. FOR 1 NIGHT on[protected] to[protected] . booking id: HTLDNAOQYHN9D2ZB
                            Accidentally the booking got cancelled on app i was searching something else in APP.
                            I immediately called at 9.55 am on[protected] that accidentally the booking got cancelled.
                            Pls restore my booking--- call center refused
                            Pls adjust i do new booking --- call center refused
                            pls refund--- call canter executive some Mr. jain or might have name wrong.. said don't worry we will process refund.
                            Till date i have not received the refund...
                            i did not checked in the hotel
                            I intimated in morning about this to company before check in time started.
                            now they are saying hotel is not refunding there money.
                            Pls help in resolving this...this is business of looting money from innocent people...who are true at there end

                              I booked a stay on the month of May, check in date was 26 th may, 27 th may was check out, Hotel name: Sea Gull, Digha, we booked a stay on AC cottage, 1st Floor. And total cost was rs. 13861. But the service I got, that was 3rd grade. They just taken money, the room condition was pathetic, after reaching property, when I raised this concern with hotel and Go inibo, they just did not care, did not even contact me, or provide any alternative. After that O raised a complaint with Go Ibibo, they taken almost 1.5 months, and after that they said they are unable to refund any amount, and they just closed my complaint without my Authorization, i provided all images, all the proof from my side, but they just did not care, I want this complaint to be addressed on a proprity

                                I had booked train tickets for 6 people from pune to goa. Trying to cancel 1 ticket but the site dosent let me cancel.

                                On calling the customer care it dosent have any option for train queries and hence I cannot get it resolved.

                                We paid extra 320 for each ticket so that upon cancellation we get the full refund. Horrible customer service.

                                User's recommendation: use other sites for train.

                                  I had booked a standard room at Palri Boutique in Gangtok from June 4, 2022 to June 6, 2022. I canceled it during the cancellation period and even received confirmation from Goibibo.

                                  My refund was supposed to be credited to my UPI account by Jun 14 and the Reference ID given to me was: JVMKJDCVhV1rbn.

                                  It's been more than 20 days since I canceled and I have tried a zillion times to reach out to your customer care, but I am always directed to automated calls, which is utterly useless as it only tells me to check the status on the app.

                                  I have checked with my bank as well and the refund isn't reflecting in my statement.

                                  I have raised a ticket as well with the Task ID:[protected], which is on stay too.

                                  At this point, I feel I have been given invalid transaction details with falls hopes of receiving the refund.

                                  All I hear from your end is that you're working on the request. But I don't understand why it's taking you so long to process it and if you're even going to return my money.

                                    I got an update that the refund has been processed on 23 May 2022 but still after a month passed nothing credited to my account. Request you to pease look into the issue and let me know the status asap.

                                        Dear Concern,
                                        I had Made A Booking on Go Ibibo along with Travel Coverage Policy for Hotel Stay at Manali( Booking id-HTLDNAOV4DMUMUFN and PNR-[protected]) on 1/06/2022, for stay from 4/06/22 to 6/06/2022.
                                        I have to cancel This Booking due to Medical Emergency on 3/06/22.
                                        This Booking is Non Refundable By Hotel But Go ibibo Had Given Me A Travel cover upto 25000/- By Charging Premium of Rs 479/- along With Booking Amount Through a Third Party Service Provider(TRIP MONEY).
                                        Also I got a Policy Details On My Mail Id -;

                                        Cover Reference no.: TMINF[protected]
                                        Cover Value: Upto Rs 25, 000
                                        Valid Till:[protected]
                                        Cover Fee Paid: 479.00.

                                        I had fulfilled All The Details To Claim The Amount Of My Booking, But Till The Date I haven't Got any Support from Go Ibibo not even from Trip Money.
                                        I had Marked Several Mails But They Are Not Reverting.
                                        Also I am Unable To connect With Goibibo Customer Care as Their Numbers are Not Working infact Trip Money don't Provide Any Customer Care Number.

                                        This Is A Fraud Made By Goibibo In Name Of Travel Coverage and Charging extra Amount on Name Of Coverage Premium.
                                        I request You to kindly Help Me in Getting My Money Back And Stop This Fraud Which Go Ibibo Is Doing with Loyal Customers.
