A booking was made for hotel president in vadodara, gujrat through goibibo on 4th dec 2017 for check-in date on 5th dec 2017 till 8th dec 2017 for a super deluxe room. (Booking id - htlz3hcxhr)
When we went to the hotel, the hotel staff said that the booking was cancelled from our side, while we never cancelled the booking otherwise we would not have gone to the hotel in the first place. The amount for the booking which was rs. 10, 356 was also deducted from the account.
When we called the goibibo executive, he said that one of their staff named vimal received a call from our side for cancellation. The question is, how can they cancel a booking without properly confirming who the caller is and whether he is authorized to cancel or not? Atleast they should cross check it. The executive also failed to provide any relevant cancellation details and any information about this vimal guy and from which number he recieved the call. This is so unprofessional of the goibibo customer care staff.
This is clearly a technical mistake from goibibo's side. And if they are clear on their side, they should provide us with the number the call came from so that we can verify it.
This carelessness of goibibo was very inconvenient to us both physically (As we had to go searching for another hotel that day) and monetarily (As the booking was not non-refundable and it was a total waste of money).

Yes, but you should at least check who is cancelling, we did not even receive any cancellation message. And give us the details of the guy who cancelled and the number from which booking was cancelled.

    I booked 2 classic non ac room for 4 member who were on religiois tour to south india in all season guest house in trivendrum frpm 14/12/2017 to 17/12/2017.

    On checking in on 14/12/2017 at 10:30 pm after travelling 60 ht train joirney from delhi to trivendrum, this hotel said that rooms are not available at forced to stay in a 3 bed single room.

    We paid in advanced.. And we got cheated.. Take action as soon as possible and refundmy money otherwise i will sue goibibo in consumer forum.

      Dear sir, this problem is due to volcano eruption in bali

      If till tomorrow afternoon at 3pm if you didn’t clear my issue i:e final decision that you refunding my amount or you modifying my date frm 28dec 2017 to 3rd jan 2018 if it is not cleared till tomorrow 3pm afternoon then get ready to face legal notice from me. I have all the evidence of mail i am mailing u since 1 week and begging u for the reply. So tomorrow till 3pm then i will file a legal notice to goibibo becus ur executive fooled me they said to cancel the airlines tickets as i did i sended them the evidence of refund from airlines but still goibibo team is not refunding my amount or modifying my dates.

        Hi

        I am in urgent need of help
        I have booked a hotel from go ibibo - in singapore (Robertson quay hotel) from 23rd nov - 29th nov and due to some error november month was selected instead of december
        I immediately need my refund or a stay arrangement as i cant afford to book a new hotel again

        I was going to singapore for some medical reason

        I also requested to the hotel directly and to goibibo managment also but al my effort were in vein
        I was even ready to pay 15-20 k extra but they were so rude to me

        They are not refunding my hard earn money which is rs 65000
        They even dint provide the service for which i paid 65k

        I need a refund in any case

        Please help me

        First of all I never got the solution from your company
        It is now Go ibibibo responsibility to give my hard earn money back.
        You guys have taken commission on this booking without even giving me the services
        Day and night I am calling your customer care but no body is responding on my concern.
        I was even ready to pay the differential amount but all my efforts were in vein
        I am even ready to take the partial amount because it matters a lot for me.

        Go ibibo have to pay my money back, even the five or seven star hotel around the world would have amended my dates of booking.

        I will fight till I am not getting any solution

          I want to inform you that today i was online through vijaya bank neft banking purchase bitcoin amounting rs 140000. For this purchase rs 144295 deduct my vijaya bank account. But bitcoin not reflect in my unocoin user i'd 21928. Bank says transaction is successful and unocoin support team says amount not receive. Because payment gateway is you so amount refund in my account at your end.

            Hello,
            This is regarding the booking i made for my mother, mrs shelly hans though goibibo on 4/13/17 for goa to bhubaneshwar, travel date 28/12/17.
            The experience i had after the booking was a nightmare, when i made the booking it displayed a connecting flight but on confirmation with the airline, they claimed that it's not a connecting flight but goibibo has tried to make it into a connecting flight on its own free will. It's not connecting, i'm suppose to check in and check out my luggage twice and what goibibo has done is that they have tried to make it connecting, where as they are two different flights, and this is clearly not what a connecting flight means. Goibibo group has accepted the same in me e-mail conversation. I mailed then but they just started wasting my time by assigning multiple (10-12) agents for one issue.
            They promised me and charged me 9000 for a connecting flight but delivered something completely different, and trust me my claim is not baseless, i have all the proof and basis for my claim. Ultimately when i had no choice i had to cancel my ticket and i am now getting a refund of only 1400rs out of the total amount paid, they have harrased me both mentally and economically. Please do something about them, i am helpless

                Dear sir,

                I have done two days hotel booking in puri in sagar tarang residency through goibibo website.

                1) booking at *sagar tarang residency certified by gostays* from *23 dec* to *24 dec* has been confirmed. Booking id for further reference is *htljsruvgz*

                2) booking at *sagar tarang residency certified by gostays* from *24 dec* to *25 dec* has been confirmed. Booking id for further reference is *htl8qmm5hp*

                These bookings have not been cancelled by me. Without my permission goibibo executive cancelled my bookings. This is against the law and harassment to customers.

                Goibibo executive is giving me excuses of technical issues in terms of booking rates. Even make my trip was showing same rates yesterday. Such excuses is intolerant.

                Even on my warning to goibibo executive, he had gone ahead with cancellation without my permission. It is rediculous.

                I hope you understand goibibo team fault and will help to resolve it and give back my bookings.

                  I have booked the flight in this website for 4152inr but the real fare of that flight is 3362. I blindly trusted this website and booked ticket but after booking immediatly i checked in airline page and got shocked.                     Goibigo CUSTOMER CARE services and act is very HOPLESS and shamful, they cancelled my tkts without reasons, I was flying to kula Lumpur and langkawi from Hyderabad. By MALAYSIA airlines from 3 to 10 DEC 2017..On their ridiculous website my booking was there and when I reached for bording I was shocked they cancelled my booking ..I was literally paralysed at 12.30am 3decmber 2017, and their ### non responsible CUSTOMER CAREs was saying gives us three days times, there was no direct contact number or live webchat to contact someone, in dying emergency they are not giving direct contact to talk, I was asking for management number they refuse to give and neither solved my problem .So I m forced to take flight via Singapore to reached my destination due to their gross negligence ..

                    I WAS mailing to CUSTOMER CARE, management and CEO too but they all are irresponsible, fraud and cheater ..

                    I was in MALAYSIA n they were not giving direct contact of any persons and wasting professional times and doing HARASSMENT economnic, mental and professional too.

                    These nonsense ppl doesn't have any sense to look into matter serious, all irresponsible MAMANGENT of GOIBIGO and customers care not giving reply too.

                    Now today is 5th day I am supposed to go back Hyderabad from Kula Lumpur on 10 DEC..Still they have not responded clearly and solved the issue..

                    Purely cheater fraud and irresponsible goibigo management.

                    Neither provideing solution neither provideing direct contact numbers neither giving call back or reply ..

                    They are fooling customers .

                    Nobody should use this cheater company who cannot reply to their negligence and fault ...And could not provide direct numbers too.

                    All cheaters should be booked for HARASSMENT and cheating to customers inspite if their negligence.

                      You guys have cancelled my return flight abruptly and haven't been able to provide me an alternative return flight from last 2 weeks.

                      Pathetic service, very much disappointed, delayed response, poor management, fake promises.

                      My return flight is cancelled and you guys haven't provided any alternative flights to me from last 15 days.

                      My onward travel starts on 9th dec and inspite of telling you guys again and again that i want the return tickets to be sorted before i start my travel still you have failed to provide any solution. Airline is operating other flights so why not accomodate in any other flight, i have been so nice to u guys that i gave you 3 to 4 days of flexibility instead of my orginial date still no resolution. Your international schedule change team member sonia was dealing with the case and she has just gone non responsive, no reply on email, can't reach her on phone, go ibibo general cust care managers also do not have rights.

                      I have been a very loyal customer to goibibo from last 5 years booking all my international and domestic flights as well as hotels with you but this will be my last transaction on your website.

                      Get this problem sorted asap

                      Your delay for apology email does not make any sense to me because you have been doing this from last many days and my travel date is approaching. I need to plan accordingly so take quick actions.

                      I Rajeev Kumar Gupta purchase a flight ticket from New Delhi to Patna dated 22/10/2017. But due to some unavoidable circumstance, I was not travelled and cancelled the same but refund of the cancelled ticket has not been given to me till date despite repeated call on No. [protected].

                        I had booked a tickets from hyd del and return via goibibo.

                        Goibibo offered a coupon code "payday" that values deduction of rs1000/- from total.

                        The total charge was rs. 7079 (With goibibo charges of rs400) for tickets.

                        Though the coupon of rs. 1000/- is applied, they had charged me with full price and when i had raised a compliant with ref no. Goibibo[protected],

                        Shocked to see that they had closed the ticket saying that it is resolved without any communication.

                        As i could not capture my transaction details online after payment, i had saved the way the transaction is done with another booking.

                        It clearly shows that the total amount before and after applying coupon is same. (Attached evidence)

                        This behavior is clearly showing their irresponsible behavior and looting public money.

                              I had booked 2 deluxe rooms in hotel woodlands, nagpur from 8-nov-2017 to 12-nov-2017 (3 nights) from goibibo paying tariff ~1600 per room per night one month prior to booking with full payment. Being 2 star hotel, the room was costly as per standards of nagpur given that facilities like wifi, parking, hot water, complementary breakfast etc. Was listed in the offer in goibibo. However, when we reached there we did not receive any of the offer listed there. The breakfast was there but served only two items - one veg and one non-veg. Additionally the plugs in the hotel was not working and the cupboard was not present. We immediately called up goibibo customer service notifying all this but they said that they cannot take any responsibility and we directly need to deal with the hotelier. After complaining to the manger level and after 4-5 hours of back and forth conversion (This destroyed our whole plan that night) finally they come up with 4 alternative hotel. 3 among them where more than 10 kms far and was not feasibility. Another option they give was having half the tariff - still believing them i went to check the hotel but that way way below standard and un-hygienic. After that no other solution came up from goibibo, rather the managers behaved in a totally unsympathetic ill-mannered way keeping me stranded in whatever the hotelier offers.

                              With no options, somehow i managed three days there with lots of trouble and i raised the same complaint to goibibo returning from nagpur. This time they asked to photos to me and keep on asking the same despite repeatedly telling that my complaints cannot be captured in photos. I gave them all info like room number etc. And ask them to verify by themselves (Which any case they should check before selling the hotel to me) but they denied. I have attached my email conversation with one of there representatives.

                              This is something coming from goibibo which is totally contrary you what they offer in their ads and in their portal. Please take up this case, else there would be lot more customer like me will get highly impacted in a totally new place.

                              As discussed earlier, all the details like room number already being provided to you for your verification. Unless you investigate on the ground level, the photos cannot be served any purpose specially when the major complaints of no wifi, hot water, plugs etc. which can only needs to be investigated by you by visiting the hotel and before posting the hotel features.

                              I was more harassed by Goibibo who detained me for 5 hours without any resolution and behaving rude and without any empathy.

                                It was 4th week of feb when i and my friends decided for the north tour, after completing the tour when we were returning back to delhi i booked a hotel near airport area but when we reached the spot there was no such hotel. It was around 12am and after continuously complaining on their customer care number we were alloted a different hotel at different place far away from the said location at around 1.30am, after asking for compensation the company executive which was talking to me straight away said "aapko already hotel de diya gaya hai, aur aapse jo ho sakta hai kar lo". I know this is very much late to complaint about this issue but i just want to aware people about this malpractice

By mistake the system/application took and confirmed 22/11/2017 as check in date instead 24/11/2017 (Although we selected 24th november) immediately we contacted goibibo team and hotel executives. The hoteliers are denying to modify the dates neither they are ready to cancel the booking and refund the amount. We have reqested goibibo to refund the amount but no solution yet.

                                      With due respect, i booked a ticket of two member from patna to ahmedabad for 23 rd of nov via delhi from goibigo.. Then got a mesaage from goair that patna to delhi flight is cancealed due to some technical issue... I have my connecting flight from del to ahmedabad.. Because of cancelation of patna to delhi flight i have to reach delhi airport before 12 pm. My pnr no is - w56igc (Pat to del)
                                      So i requested to goibibo to arrange a ticket for me so i can take my flight from del to ahm.. After a long discussion of three days they are not ready for re arrange my tickets. As i talked with goair airlines they told me that they will refund my amount from patna to delhi bt they are not concern over del to ahmedabad flight because of diffrent airline.. So they told me to talk with goibibo. Bt goibibo team is not giving a proper response.. As they say that i have to pay fare difference if they will make a new booking..
                                      Bt my concern is why should i will pay the fare difference as the ticket is cancelled by airline... Its goibibo duty to arrange a proper flight for me..
                                      As i booked my previous ticket of two person in rs.9000.00 and now the price is more than rs.9000.00 for one person
                                      So plz take a heavy & proper action on gobibo team.

                                        I have been calling and sending emails to goibibo's call centre guys for the last one month. I had a travel with air india express on 21st of october and this has been cancelled by them due to technical issues. I have been informed by air india that they will do a full refund of my entire itinerary, which is from kozhikode to trivandrum and back from trivandrum. Now on the same day i have contacted goibibo and a staff by the name pooja confirmed by calling air india that air india has done the full refund, (With mr arunlal air india). On my request pooja had sent an email showing that a refund of total rs 10506 will be processed within 5-14 business days. I have waited till now for this promise and nothing was done and on chasing the team they are saying it will take more time. I have also received separate emails for gocash guarantee as well, which i am hardly bothered due to the hollow promises i have had from them till now.

                                        Yesterday i called airindia and they confirmed that the funds have been moved your account within 3 days (From 21st october) from their end. I have also logged into the online account with goibibo and lodged a complaint and these guys have closed it, saying it's resolved, without even calling me.

                                        Now it is clear that their system is holding my money (For the travel which i have not even made) for the last one month.
                                        Any ideas if this complaint is enough or should i approach an appellate authority to get my money back??

                                        Now their call centre guys are sending emails saying that they tried calling me and the call was unanswered.I had sent an email to them to try me anytime in the same number registered with them and they never called and simply closed the complaint.These guys are total frauds.Sick of them!!!

                                        My PNR number during the time of booking was IXUZTRUN and my email id is [protected]@gmail.com.Your team has got all my info.Please advise of the timeline required for putting my money to my account, which has been already passed on to you by Air India Express.Please advise the exact time line and I am no longer in the mode to wait any more.And totally agree with your team name_"Customer Delight"!!!
