Goibibo customer care called me at 8.45 PM saying for 5-7 th may I.e.2 days bookings they would refund or upgrade to other hotel as per my choice, I asked to suggest upgraded hotel options the Manager replied that he will revert with details of options o[censored]pgrade and in case o[censored]navailability he will refund my amount.
To my utter shock the Manager called back in 15-20 mins saying that now he is refusing promise he made in last call and exact status would be given by tomorrow. I waited whole day with my luggage packed waiting for their final status on refund they claimed to initiated. Very bad experience . Kindly do the needful.

    Complaint no. given by Goibibo 2171614 . Since yesterday I am continuously following up with them but they just promise that very soon I will be upgraded to better Hotel and to wait. I booked hotel seeing pics n details on Goibibo site, room I got is far different from pic, Hotel is not even 1 star property, Goibibo says they have done all needful and to wait for refund from Hotel, as I have booking for 3 more days, but no proper solution is offered except asking to wait. Details of my complaint as such -

    In continuation to my repeated calls and below complaint reference I am sending pics of room for your kind reference, along with ones posted on Goibibo. I have booking for 5days 4 nights, 3 Nights for superior rooms and one night for deluxe room for 3 persons, including my aged parents. Please see in pics the room doesn't have enough space for 3 persons and after putting mattress on floor there is no space to move ur legs. On top of it today hotel staff wants to shift to room inferior to this one, as we have booked deluxe room for tonight. The staff is non cooperating, when I informed that Goibibo team is trying to contact n to respond on call, hotel staff rudely replied that it's not Goibibo who will decide rooms, I had to personally make call to Goibibo n make hotel speak to you. Hotel staff reason is " mam ka aaj deluxe hai na isiliye ma'am yeh sab bol rahi taki unko superior room chorna na pade" . I don't think such remarks are desirable and against my dignity, I am very old customer of Goibibo and not someone cheap. When I asked for chair I was given broken old chair, for a superior room. There is not even ventilation or exhaust fan in bath, pics attached.Request to accommodate me in some other property from today till 7th may

      This is to bring to your notice that upon booking of airline ticket - SpiceJet PNR ECIUNK (Delhi to Ahmadabad) on the 1st of May 2016, I have received shopping vouchers worth Rs5000 out of which 5 vouchers are no longer valid ( expired dated 30th April 2016). Vouchers namely Surat Diamond jewellery, Peter England, Frogo, Zooper, Enchance clinic fall under the above said category. Highly disappointed at the treatment. Would appreciate an explanation.

        No refund received against wrong travel date mentioned in the ticket.

        I have not yet got the refund for the wrong travel date mentioned in my ETicket, booked using GoiBibo.

        I had booked a flight ticket using GoiBibo, from Bhubaneswar to New Delhi for 18-Apr-2016, but when I received the ETicket, I was really shocked to find that travel date mentioned was 14-Apr-2016. I immediately called-up GoiBibo customer care and informed this mistake to them. Initially they told me that I would have selected 14-Apr-2016 as travel date, but I strongly refuted their claims. Then they suggested me to cancel the ticket, but I stood firm and told them that I will not cancel, because it was not my fault, rather it was their system fault. I had asked them for FULL refund of my ticket amount, but every time they say they had not got any response from their technical team, hence I would have to wait for another 24-48 hours. This has been going on since 2-3 weeks now. I have not yet got the refund amount. I am really fade-up and seriously considering to appeal in consumer forum. Anyone have any better suggestion for me ?

            I am a student and I was about to travel to Canada with my Canada visa.
            I booked an online airplane ticket from British Airways on March 17th through goibibo app for april 28th, 2016. I was never told by any of their representatives and it was nowhere mentioned that I need to have dublin visa. My journey was New delhi-London, London-Dublin and Dublin-Toronto. I was not even able to see the boarding pass for dublin on their website or app. I went to the airport to board my flight and then while check in, I was told that I cannot travel as I do not have Visa for Dublin which I did not know that is required.
            i spoke to Ibibo representative, instead of helping me, he put me on hold and did not resolve my query.
            ibibo is doing fraud things and making money from us by befooling us. I had to come back from airport. I was told that my visa could have been cancelled because of these fraudsters.
            Please dont book from their website or app. I lost my money but I will file a case against these fraud.

            I suffered a lot at the airport. Even british airways chief advised me to not to book anything from their end. They are selling tickets at cheaper price and when one goes there, he/she has to come back.
            I booked my ticket again. If I do not get my reimbursement back, I am going to file a case against these fraud.

              I booked fight through goibibo.com on 17th Apr 2016, the booking was on 14th may 2016 . My booking PNR NO is YN5GZ. The total bill amount was Rs. 8936/-.

              But because of some misspilt(Passenger name) we have to cancel our ticket. I filed a request for cancellation on 26th Apr 2016. This was approved by goibibo.com.

              After that I got a message that Rs. 3105/- will be deducted to my amount. I immediately contact...

              I can very well sympathize with you, GoIBiBo had done similar type of fraud with my case also. I had booked online flight ticket for date 18-Apr-2016, but they booked the ticket for 14-Apr-2016. What more, in spite of repeated requests and complaints, they are not willing to refund my ticket amount. GoIBibo seems such a fraud group that we should never ever book tickets with them .

                This is in regards to a hotel booking done by me on April 16th' 2016 through the Goibibo website. The hotel booking was for 4 nights and five days and the hotel name was Temple Tree Hotel in Wilson Garden area, Bangalore.

                While booking the hotel through the website, I selected twin accommodation in the 'number of people in the room' and I was given a price quote of INR 10, 867 including taxes with Breakfast and Dinner included (after applying a 'GOKARDE' discount as part of the promotions by Goibio. I paid this amount using my debit card. When I reached hotel with my wife, the Manager told us that the booking is only for a single occupant and it is not on twin sharing basis.

                When I inquired from Goibibo customer care service, they said that there is a system error due to which you were shown incorrectly that the booking you made is for two people however the booking amount is for one person. I argued with them that they should be returning me the money or make adjustments in the current hotel booking so that I be compensated.

                My request was not entertained neither by the Hotel Manager and by Goibibo manager. Since I could not cancel my current booking at the last moment, I had to pay the Hotel INR 5, 000 additional so that I could get a double occupancy room.

                This is one of those pathetic and eye opening experiences which shows how customers money is stolen and customers are lost.

                I would never ever recommend your website to any of my friends and relatives although I am sure you won't bother loosing a handful of customers.

                  I booked two rooms at one hotel in Shimla through goibibo.com on 06th Apr 2016, the booking was from 22nd Apr 2016 to 24th Apr 2016. My booking id is HTLUZEL5ZJ. The total bill amount was Rs. 10, 712/-, after all adjustments and discounts I paid Rs. 6, 812/- from my credit card.

                  But because of some emergency we have to cancel our plan and hotel booking as well. I filed a request for cancellation on 08th Apr 2016. This was approved by goibibo.com.

                  After that I got a message that Rs. 949/- will be refunded to my bank account after all adjustments. I immediately contact them; they said this is as per our policy and showed me a long calculation.

                  I have paid Rs. 6812/- and they are refunding Rs. 949/- against it, which is almost 86% of paid amount. The tariff of hotel is 2500/- per room per day, And I paid to them Rs.5863/- for just holding the booking...means Rs. 2932/- per day, which is more than the hotel tariff.

                  I didn't understand their policy of refund and they are also not taking my complaints seriously.

                  I have asked them to take 10% or 20% as cancellation charges but they are not interested. Still there is 13 more days for 22nd Apr, they will get any other booking easily and they have charged me as well.

                  They are making fool of the customers. Request you to kindly look into this.

                  With regards to your email, Kindly note that When you cancelled the booking at that time as per the cancellation policy you will get 50% refund if you cancel the booking before 12th Apr.

                  So as per the cancellation policy of hotel and goibibo kindly find the below calculation :
                  50% cancellation charges would be calculated on the vendor amount i.e. INR 10400 which comes upto INR 5200.
                  Cancellation charges would be deducted from the paid amount of customer i.e (INR[protected] = 3512).
                  Then from the actual refund amount i.e. INR 3512 goibibo cancellation charges of 10% & 3% will be deducted i.e. (INR[protected] = 2849)
                  Refund amount of the you is INR 2849 and according to our policies refund firstly goes in gocash account then the remaining amount is credited in your bank account.
                  Gocash credited - INR 1900 & Card Amount INR 949.
                  We hope that above is in order.

                  Also please note that the calculations are done on the basis of cancellation policy


                  We are resolving the issue from our end now. You will also receive a link in order to resolve the same and hence request you to click on the link and close the case on a positive note.

                  Thanks for sharing the calculation of cancellation charges...I have understood now how you guys makes fool of the customers. This is how your policies works, the entire amount would be paid from customer's pocket.
                  I have few points (you can say this as the objection) where i am not very clear :

                  1.) Why you deduct cancellation charges from the gross amount, which i think should be from paid/net amount.
                  2.) After all deduction you took your amount first (gocash, goibibo charges)...then if there is any balance left that you paid to customer. Means all burden levied on the customer only.
                  3.) In my case I paid Rs. 6, 812/- from my card after all adjustments and discounts. After cancellation and all your calculation I get Rs. 949/- back in my account. Means you deduct Rs. 5863/- from my money for holding the hotel booking for two days.which is almost 86% of my payment.
                  4.) Hotel tariff is Rs. 2500/- per night and I paid Rs. 2931/- per day for just holding your reservation.

                  Goibibo is the worst service I have ever seen, will not your services again. You have the most customer non friendly services one could ever seen.

                    I have booked bus ticket on 27march 2016 for pune to vadodara by pnr no: rbnu65xqcv of dated 5th april 2016.

                    I have received message from bus operator that bus is cancelled due to machinery issue on one day advance. I immediately lodge the refund process in customer care on 4th april 2016 stating that the bus has got cancelled due to the reason said herewith with copy of message received from bus operator (Paulo).

                    "it was necessary for me to reach vadodara, i have to booked the premium ticket on last hours. Wherein i paid double of the amount of the bus ticket."

                    After not getting any response from customer care i called toll free number of customer care they have rudely replied. I forced to write the said the management coloum of goibibo customer care.

                    Till now, have not received the refund. I got call from goibibo, management team member mr. Vivek and he said we are processing the refund. I said if am booking from paytm, payumoney or redbus i get within 24 hours refund why not with you. He said we do not have such process.

                    My concern is goibibo is cheating customer holding refund for long time and getting interest or just not to refund.

                    I want my additional expenses incurred booking ticket at last hour as well as the refund of my 5th april paulo ticket. I also want my gocash amount to be credited to my credit card account immediately without further delay. Or otherwise i will forced to take legal action.

                      I had booked my ticket of 27 March 2016 on 25 march2016 from Kanpur to Delhi from Goibibo and my bus has been cancelled, on the same day day 27 March when I reached the pickup point then they inform me regarding cancellation immediately I contacted to Goibibo they said they initiate my refund and give the time of5 to 7 working days, after 7 days I took the follow up and they said still they had not initiated my refund and gave the excuse of technical issue now on 10 March I have contacted the Goibibo they still giving some excuses so I think they are not interested to refund so I want to take some legal action against Goibibo and want my money back with per day penalty

                        I mr jigar patel have booked a travel ticket on bus from lonavala to mahabaleshwar. And my travel date was 31 st march 2016, and my seats confirmed was :- operator pnr no.[protected] and my booking id was gobus68f1e[protected] and my seat no was s15, s16, s17, s18. And the bus was from mahavat tour and travels a/c sleeper coach.
                        My complain against this booking is as follows:-
                        1. The driver called me one hour before that the boarding point is on express highway and not in lonavala center point hotel lonavala bypass which was given in my booking chart and in my ticket also.

                        2. The new boarding point was on very dark place, no light was there at almost 10 pm. And even no body was there at that time and i was with my family in a new place where i dont know the road and even people also bcoz it was new place new state for me. I and my family was waiting till 1.45 minutes for bus than after the bus came there.

                        3. After boarding he checked my tickets and given me my seats where we have board. He also asked me where to go & i told that we are going to mahabaleshwer as shown in booking.

                        4. He has a full responsibility to drop us at our point where we have to go as we were new for that state we dont know where we have to stop. Thanafter he took us to goa and not in mahabaleshwar. And he told us to reach mahabaleshwar at your own risk in that dark place. He told that he dont have any responsibility to drop us at our point and we have to tell him that here is our point and we will drop here. But how it is possible for us as we were new to that state. We dont know the place and even road.

                        5. From goa we took a taxi for mahabaleshwer as there was not any other cheap vehicle on that place on that time as he drop us near 10 km before goa.

                        6. The taxi driver took 7500 rs for taking us to mahabaleshwer as it was too long also and time was also was his. So we agreed for that because my family was also with us at almost 4:50 in morning. No body was on road was very dark that day.

                        7. I just want my ticket amount back and the charges of taxi which i have paid due to that bus mis management.
                        I dont want any thing for which we suffered a lot.But we will never go with ibibo.com next time and we will also not recommend any body in our family or relatives or friends.

                        8. The total rs for ticket is 4056 + 7500 for taxi the total amout is 11, 556/- rupees. That we want back as we have a suffered a lot

                        9. I request you to lodge for me as i knew that lots of people was suffering with this matter but are not going for a complaint or they dont know how to lodge online. But i want to teach a lesson that they cant do whatever they want as their business is running due to us travelling people.

                          I was coming from chennai on 24th march 2016. Chennai to hyderabad. Payment id :gobusand915a[protected]: pnr::cx97cf.. I was alone in the new city. I tried go ibibo app. The driver was too harsh unable to guide the address, even to the cab driver!!. We were roaming in the same location for almost 30 minz and finally we reached the place. And the bus was gone :(.. Can you imagine a girl travelling alone in a complete new state with no proper language communication. Thank to god i had spare money with me. But the bus which i came from took almost twice the amount which i paid to ibibo. Do you people think we are dumb here to try your service. Its second time i am facing issue with ibibo people. They claim false promises and its just a money making website and fooling people..

                            I am a female employee of Intellect Services Pvt. Ltd. - a unit of goibibo.com. I have over 7 years of experience across various industries like aviation, hospitality & customer relations and I joined this organization 7 months ago to serve as a Sr. Associate - Operations.

                            Over the last 6 months of my working, I have worked very hard towards my responsibilities and received several appreciations from customers on call as well as emails. Basis my proven track record, the company's top management was apparently planning to offer me a bigger role, additional responsibility and increment in remuneration.

                            However, the approach of a handful middle management male employees caused a big dent in my reputation and productivity over the last 1 month. To subside their competition and my increasing performance in the team, they set up a conspiracy to tarnish my image as well create situations to force me for leaving my job.

                            It all started on a Saturday night shift when, with all the other female staff members, I had left office after my regular day shift and the male staff took charge for the night shift (FYI - This is a good company policy for which I respect management's wisdom)

                            Late in the said night, a customer frustrated by his own mistake (booking an International flight from overseas country to his home country on the last day of his visa validity) called up our customer care wing to ask for -
                            1. Flight options (since his booked flight got cancelled on the day his visa was expiring)
                            2. A free night stay (since the next available flight was for the following day but the customer had reached the airport)
                            3. A business class travel (since he wanted premium lounge of the airline to wait with his wife)

                            To give a background, the customer was already aware that his flight schedule had changed and given his acceptance for the next day's flight. However, when the airport authorities denied him the travel because of his fault of visa getting expired the same day he planned to run away from the country, he started calling people in Goibibo.

                            Though such cases and complaints are quite a norm in our industry, this situation became unnatural when he put the customer care supervisor on hold to call someone else secretly and then come back and demand extra favours from Goibibo.

                            After several calls, he came up with a new idea and started putting false accusations on the conversation he had with me a day prior to the date he came to the airport claiming that I had told him only the change in hours and minutes of flight change but not the change in day. He tried to outsmart and put blame on goibibo for giving him half information even after receiving obvious SMS alerts from the airline informing day, date & time of the revised flight schedule. He also received an email from goibibo 24 hours prior to his original flight time that there is a schedule change and hence are the new flight timings. But he did not accept his mistake of ignoring the emails and airline alerts only because he thought that verbal communication was misguiding. But the real truth was that his visa was expiring and the he had to fly out of the country before he gets detained at the airport.

                            Out of his fear, when this over-smart customer tried to harass our customer care supervisor on night shift that time, our talented supervisor and in-charge of the duties on that fateful night ceased this opportunity to crack a side deal with this customer.

                            Though the customer and his wife got the same flight which was rescheduled, his side deal with our supervisor and operations in-charge managed to get him a free night stay at goibibo partner hotel, access to premium lounge & business class tickets of the same flight in which he was anyway going to depart. And while the customer had himself told this supervisor that both he and his wife had already got a 24 hour extension on their visa (on medical grounds which he faked at the airport), our middle management conspirators went ahead and upgraded his tickets to business class leading the company to incur a loss of around 1 lakh.

                            The issue got escalated due to the huge amount of loss caused by these middle management, terribly abashed supervisors and to save their positions, they all made a plan to use customer's allegation of a verbal miscommunication against the female executive in-charge of that call during the day shift.

                            They mutually decided to project this loss as an 'Agent Loss' (a malpractice popularized in this organization for harassing operation associates again by a handful mid-level managers) and fine the female call receiver on day shift (unfortunately myself). Overnight, the decision to deduct 50% of this loss from my salary was taken by this bunch of conspirators and they issued an email with the ultimatum without giving me a single heads up of what all happened in those late hours behind my back.

                            I was not contacted or asked even once on this matter. No one even bothered to hear my call recordings to confirm whether it was my mistake or not. They took the customer's accusation to be true and resultantly deducted a convenient amount from my salary as an EMI for the total loss imposed on me.

                            I was puzzled and completely unaware of the entire issue so I approached my team leaders, HR, managers on duty during the night shift and finance department as well. Every person had only one judgement that, "it is an agent loss though we have not listened to your recording but because the seniors think it is your mistake, we will deduct your money."

                            Furious, I came home discussed the problem with my family and then started recalling the incident. Luckily, I had all the records of my conversation with this over-smart customer and that's where I found the following concerning loopholes -

                            1. Why did the customer wait till the last day of his visa validity to book his international flight?

                            2. If the flight was for Saturday night, why did he call on Friday late afternoon to confirm the timings when he had ideally received the airline alert as well an email from goibibo about flight reschedules?

                            3. Why did the supervisor on night shift offer him a business class travel of the same flight in which he was already flying on Sunday morning in economy class with a Visa extension? How is goibibo responsible for his visa expiry?

                            4. How can a supervisor make such a big decision within minutes without looking at the price difference between the two categories (business & economy) and incurring a loss of Rs. 1 lakh to the company?

                            5. What is the need for this supervisor to give in to such stupid demands when every goibibo communication email and COMPANY POLICIES clearly state that Goibibo is not responsible for any changes or reschedule information related to the flights or other transport bookings?

                            6. What sense does it make for upgrading the customer to the Business class of the same flight when he has already told this supervisor that his visa has been extended for 24 hours due to medical grounds and he can now fly easily on Sunday morning?

                            7. If the decision has been taken by the supervisor and middle management's so called decision makers, without looping in any associate or his/her team leader, how can they deduct the associate's salary who is the junior most in their hierarchy?

                            Does this mean that my only fault was to take that Friday afternoon call? Well, that's my job, I'm supposed to read the information from the system and convey it to the caller. And for that call also, I only read out what the system communicated. So, with this logic, its a system error and their entire Tech development department should be penalised.

                            On understanding the complete scenario and noting my 7 points of concern, I reached the Operations head who after avoiding me for 10 days joins his hands and pleads "I'm sorry but I had to blame things on you otherwise I would have lost my job for taking such a stupid decision. If you don't tell this to anybody, I will speak to the finance department and try to give some discount on your deductions."

                            This response has made me even more furious. I feel pity on the owners of this great establishment GoIbibo. Somebody must have built this entity with so much sweat and blood. It must have been someone's dream, someone's biggest achievement of life. But this careless bunch of wrong hires and undeserving managers are like termites, eating into the company, harassing hard working employees to cover up their mistakes and pay a price for it too. This is the learning they're instilling in the minds of fresh, young talents who wanted to grow in this system.

                            If such conspiracies and side deals are not stopped now, they will eat up the entire system without the top management knowing anything out of it.

                            Everyone please spread the word around. These managers & department heads should be a window/ a channel of effective functioning between management objectives and execution workforce. But what they're doing is the shaming the whole group & their industry reputation big time. DISGUSTING is the word.

                              Dear sir,
                              On 14 mar 2016, i booked one room for one night stay in hotel emperor palms, delhi for 26 mar 2016 through goibibo online service (Goibibo booking id: htlff33fxg) and for which i paid rs 1061 (After putting a coupon code of rs 1638). When i reached to hotel emperor palms on 26 mar 2016 at 1215 hrs, i got room at around 1245 hrs as cleaning was going on. When i entered inside the room, the room condition is not good and found quite different as shown by goibibo in their website and moreover there was some noise was also coming inside the room as like some construction work is going on. Immediately i called to goibibo customer care executive around regarding the same issue through telephone. He told me to send the pic in goibibo email id so that goibibo will talk to hotel. So, i clicked and send a pic to goibibo email id (Only one pic option is available there) and from their i got a response in which he wrote that hotelier mr tejendra will talk to you regarding the issue. After sometime i got a call from hotelier in intercom in which he inform me that there was some cleaning work was going on thats why that noise was coming. When i asked him to change the room as in this room no 001 instead of putting curtain, they put mat (Pic already sent to goibibo), hotelier said me that you have to pay approx 1000 rs extra for that so finally i vacate that room and hotel around 1545 hrs and moved to another hotel.
                              Instead of putting so many complaint (1824456, 1846828, 1861325) in goibibo till now i didn't got any positive response from goibibo side. I don't know why their customer care executive are more loyal towards hotel and believe in hotel talk. Here is the reply of their executive

                              This is in reference to your booking id htlff33fxg. Pertaining to the issue you raised for hotel complaint. We would like to inform you that we checked with hotel and they advised that their check out time is 12 noon. As per hotel they advised you that the room is getting cleaned and will be ready within next 10 minutes, which you booked. Hotel have informed that you arrived in hotel at 12:25 pm and room was allotted at 12:45 pm.

                              As per hotel they told you that that they have launched new premium rooms last month meanwhile your room is cleaning they will show you the new rooms. As per hotel you agreed and saw the new rooms and asked about the prices. As advised by hotelier that you told him that you are single and will check out tomorrow hence you will take that room in future.

                              Moreover as per hotel there was no construction going on. Hence they do not agree for refund. We would request you to please send us the pictures of the hotel for the construction work so that we may forward the same to hotel.

                              There are few questions for goibibo:
                              (1) check in time is 1200 hrs and when i already reached there 1215 hrs then why hotel is not able to provide me room till 1245 hrs. In goibibo website its clearly written that check in time is 1200 hrs. Then don't you take any action against hotel regarding the same issue.
                              (2) in goibibo website the pic shown is quite different from the actual one which is available in room. In room, there is mat in window instead of curtain and the condition of table and chair is quite visible in pic which is already attached with the initial mail.
                              (3) why there was so much noise till 1430 hrs outside the room. Why there cleaning was going on so long.
                              (4) instead of talking to customer care executive through telephone and email, why they don't take any action to resolve the issue then and there only instead of leaving the matter to the hotel.
                              (5) even now also magha sharam mam want few more pic of that hotel as a proof (As i already informed to that mam, in her goibibo website there is only one pic attachment option is available, thats why i don't click anymore pic).
                              (6) instead of asking so many proof from me, why don't you ask to hotel to send screenshot of cctv footage of my arrival.So that you are able to find out at what time i actually reached at hotel.

                              With reference to my complaints, i got a call from goibibo executive [protected] at 2159 Hrs and he asked me about the detail. when i was trying to explain him about the whole incidence, he stopped me in between and said " Sir, problem kya hai seedha seedha baithayega". Meine kaha wahi bata raha hoon and then he said " Awaaz nahi aa raha hai, phir se call karta hoon" and then he cut the call in 2 Min 19 Sec and again call me from the same number. This time also he behave in the same mannner " batayeya". I said " aap bol kaha se rahe hai" He said "Mumbai" . I said " par yei number toh Bihar and Jharkhand ka dikha raha hai". When i asked him about his good name, he said "R P Jain".
                              OMG, what type of people Goibibo hire in their customer care staff. Such a illiterate guy who even don't know how to talk. Disgusting man.

                                Dear,
                                I have tried many times explaining my position and the pain I have gone through due to Goibibo portals fault.
                                The request is simple, if any mistake is done by Goibibo portal, they have to rectify the same and they must not optimize in that at the cost of customers preference and schedule.

                                I would like to have a travel date rescheduled on 3rd April or arrange the stay plan in Muscat for the lay time that is ~20 hrs.

                                Initial PNR: Z3S58
                                Booked in AirIndia Airlines did not allow me to travel due to some non linkage on PNR and Ticket no done by Goibibo.

                                Alternate PNR booked by Goibibo: JEVNHY
                                Booked in Oman Air. Return on 4th late night (practically 5th April ) with 20 hrs stoppage in Muscat.

                                To explain my case again, below are the sequence of incidents:

                                1. I booked a return ticket from Jeddah to Lucknow for 17th March and return on 3rd April.

                                2. The ticket was confirmed and same was verified with Goibibo team immediately after the booking.

                                3. On 17th March, 3 hrs before the departure, at checkin counter Air India refused to allow my checkin saying ticket is not confirmed.

                                4. On talking to Air India and Goibibo in conference call, it was confirmed that Goibibo generated the PNR but did not linked the ticket number to that PNR.

                                5. Still there was an option to cancel the whole ticket, as it was a refundable ticket and book again in different flight (scheduled few hrs later) on Airindia flight and keep return same as my original booking

                                6. But Goibibo took hell lot of time in investigating and accepting their fault and keep on discussing internally.

                                7. I was standing at the airport with my family and luggage.

                                8. I was literally begging Goibibo team to make it fast otherwise the booking in alternate flight will also close but they said " don't worry mr tiwari that flight tickets are secured and they are searching the better option for return journey"

                                9. But in actual, they were over optimizing the some extra cost which need to be occurred.

                                10. As I anticipated, they came up saying that the booking of alternate flight is closed and they have no other option. Even I gave them flexibility that I can wait in any Indian airport for a day also if any issue with connecting flights and timings. And can come back 1 day earlier also in my return if needed.

                                11. They were not booking in multiple airlines and I don't know why.

                                12. After around 3-4 hrs of continuous discussion, they gave me an only option to opt for Oman air which was scheduled 5 hrs later and returning ticket on 4th late night with 20 hrs of stoppage in Muscat.

                                13. The option was like take it or leave it and decide in 10 mins else the reservation in this flight will also close and I might have to wait for whole night and next day at Jeddah airport.

                                14. I opted the option as I had my infant daughter and was not in condition to stay 24 to 30 hrs at airport.

                                15. Now when I am checking the options for my return journey, I can see that there are hell lot of options available on 2nd and 3rd April for my return journey and its on Goibibo website only.

                                16. On asking why those options were not considered before, the Goibibo team says that tickets were not available before but now available.

                                17. The thing is that Goibibo was not ready to book in multiple flights, they were over optimizing the extra cost, they were not ready to accept their fault and pretending that by providing me alternate flight, they are doing any favor on customer. Every cost optimizing was done except the customers traveling preferences.

                                I hope you will consider this. Waiting for your earliest reply and solution.

                                  Goibibo is such a fraud company, we booked a hotel in coorg, they took complete money and when we reached hotel then we were told that booking was not confirmed, it was really embarassing for us, we had reached hotel with family and kids and told that there is no booking, we called goibibo and they said sorry blah blah, and u can get it refunded or they need 1 hr to search for alternative, we waited for 50 min, called again and then again we were told they need 1 hr, it was long weekend and was very difficult for us to get a room, felt really bad, then somehow we managed to get a hotel by getting rooms in marriage hall, really pathetic service, will never try goibibo again.

                                    This is the worst service ever... We had booked 4 rooms using GOIBIBO for a hotel by the name Abi Krishna in Pondicherry. After travelling for 9 hrs and reaching there, the hotel staff tells us that there's only one room available and asks 8 o[censored]s to adjust in there until other guests checkout of their hotel.

                                    All this when I've paid up upfront, IN FULL in advance of 15 days.

                                    Currently waiting at the hotel reception and been put on hold by Goibibo customer support executives. What a great start to our stay.

                                      I, pranav, had booked rooms through goibibo app at club mahindra emerald palms resort varca goa on 17-18 march (Booking id:htlvexcmtu) and 18-19 march (Booking id:htll5e47fe).I had a horrendous experience at the hotel.The hotel barred my entry citing my rental car as the reason.I was made to wait at the gate for 1 hour at midnight, not even asked to come in or have a glass of water;offered no alternative.I made a call to gocare.Mr nishant of goibibo held up the call for 40 minutes.It was around 1 am in the night, i was still made to wait outside the gate of the hotel as if i was a terrorist.I again called goibibo, this time nishant told me that he cannot facilitate my entry into my booked room in the hotel nor could he arrange an alternate room at that time for me.Exhausted and harrassed it took me 2 hours to find a room and had to pay a hefty amount for it.I get no call from goibibo the next day.I call them again, this time mr animesh picks up, makes me hold up for around 20 mins. Then assures me of action in 24 hours.No call comes up.Trusting the goibibo brand i again book a room in goa at estelo de mar, baga.After 2 days i again call them up, still they say they have no solution.On 21st march i get a call from goibibo that they cant refund my money and cited club mahindra rules for it.I was aghast at such insensitivity.If goibibo is so much concerned for the hotel rules they should intimate it beforehand.And the way the guys were citing the hotel concerns it seems they dont need customers, they just need the big pocket hotels to fill up their cash counters.I feel i have been robbed by goibibo.I wasnt even let in the hotel, leave alone stay at the room.And all this while goibibo narrated the hotel version.If such is the horrible experience of booking through goibibo i would suggest others to unsubscribe the app.If the company couldnt even refund my non-stay at the hotel, leave alone the harassment or lack of alternative arrangement i can clearly say this company is based on loot of common people not service.

                                        I was completely unhappy the way my case was taken. I dont know how are others but my case was taken up by person called Koushal.

                                        I think he needs to learn a lot, especially manners while speaking to others.
                                        The problem is he jumps in to conclusions without allowing me to complete.

                                        I never felt like they are trying to get customers. I felt like they are in hurry. You are completely talking everything in hurry/urgent and impatient.. I was not able to communicate with you what i wanted.
