This is the worst experience i have ever experienced during online booking of airlines. I booked first time on indigo via goibibo with pnr - fdmv4k on 19th june 2016 for round trip with registered contact no. [protected] (Piyush malhotra) but on 27/06/16 i got a mail at piyush. [protected]@gmail.com regarding add meals before and i was just checking that site and after that what i noticed that my flight is cancelled and out of 7500/-, 4500rs. Is deducted as a cancellation charges by indigo and near about 800rs. Is deducted by goibibo. I talked with goibibo and indigo customer cares just after a minute of getting a message of cancellation of my flight in a conference and i said them please dont cancel my flight, i want to go, please its a cheating with me they didnt ask anything to me either "are you sure you want to cancel or anything else" just only i got a message that your ticket is cancelled but they continously said that they cant do anything and i suffered a loss of 5500rs. So please dont travel through indigo and doot book via goibibo because they dont do anything for their customers. It is the worst online method and if i will not get my complete refund or else book a ticket for me for goa otherwise i definitely lodge a complaint of cheating with me and take this case to the court and i already gave this news to toi.

    Hi,
    I was supposed to take the flight yesterday from amsterdam to london (Ba-423) and then london-new delhi (Ai-162). However, when i reached the airport yesterday early morning at 5am to check in for my first flight, i was told by the airline that they can not let me fly since i don't have the requisite transit visa to change flights in london.
    I was forced to make another booking on the spot (Since my schengen visa was expiring the same day and i had to travel on 25th itself) with jet airways flight 9w-233 which cost me rs.32, 434.

    I would like to be reimbursed for the amount i had to spend on the new booking since i was never informed that i would require a transit visa for changing flights in london by the airline or goibibo.In addition, i would like to be compensated for the mental harassment and inconvenience i had to got through for booking a new flight.

      We were travelling by spicejet to New Delhi from Bangkok on 20th June night. Our flight was at 5.10 Am. After submitting the luggage and collecting the boarding passes, we asked the lady at the checkin counter who has given us the boarding passes about other formalities. She replied that every thing is done now, you dont have to do any thing and you have to report at bording gate maximum by 4.55 AM.

      We were waiting at the airport premises as we were so early. Later we came to know that we have to go through immigration counter and need to fill some form and submit it.

      We were stuck in the immigration queue as it was over crowded and the immigration staff was so lazy. However we managed to reach boarding gate by 4.50 AM (Gate no D8, Swarnbhumi Airport). We wanted help from the spicejet staff but there was no spicejet staff available near immigration section. Later when I saw a few staff of spicejet, there was a guy, who were responsible for getting people on board said to us that they have closed the gates. We said to him that the deadline was 4.55 Am and we are still 5 minutes early. This guy there was not good in english and there was a language barrier.

      To top it up there was no airline reporting manager available at that time to guide us. We were waiting Like a fool at the airport restless and all that the staff was doing was getting my luggage back to me. If they could remove our luggage before the flight boarded they could have at least come once near the immigration to check what is going on with the passenger. Immigration is something which is not in our hands. But despite of reaching before time and missing the flight even after getting the boarding pass and clearing the immigration is shocking...

      They told us tomorrow you have to report at 1AM and he will get us a alternate flight. He also confirmed with him that we dont to pay anything. He said that you dont have to pay but we should report at checking counter at sharp 1 AM (21 June).

      We specialyy booked a hotel in bangkok for 1 day as spicejet guy promised us a alternate flight next day. Next day at 1 Am we were at te spicejet checking counter and the same guy who promised us a alternate flight he asked us to pay for tickets. We were in shock that yesterday he promised us that we dont have to pay now he is asking us to pay the amount for 4 tickets. He was not listening to us and was not cooperative.

      If this was the case why we were informed that you can take other flight by paying again. We specially booked a taxi to bangkok, boked 2 rooms and came back next day. we spent 3200 baht. Now its a total loss to us.

      We want an action to be taken and want our money refunded and stickt action specially against the staff reporting on 20 June at Swarbhumi Airport.

        My complaint to the company:


        1. I understand that you have a have mentioned that non related couples may not be allowed in some of the hotels while they would be welcomed in others. How would a customer be sure that the hotel he/she is checking into follows what policy?

        Don’t you think that it is Go ibibo’s responsibility that before accepting the payment it should make sure that the customer will be allowed to check in into that particular hotel or not?

        Or does the customer comes to know about the same only when he is standing with his/her luggage in the hotel’s reception and is embarrassed by the hotel staff.

        My question is HOW WOULD THE CUSTOMER KNOW?


        2. My second concern is that since I had not checked into the hotel, how could I get a confirmation message from Goibibo? Does your company entertain a customer only to the point where the payment is made?

        Or as an answer to this will you send me another highlighted text that it is all automated ( and we don’t care what actually the customer is facing)
        How can a confirmation message and a feedback message be sent to a customer if he has not even checked in.
        This is complete fraud and will definitely be reported.

        3. My third complaint is that your customer service is very rude and misguides the customer.

        I was told that the payment was already transferred to the hotel so a refund could not be made which is an absolute lie because the payment is only transferred to the hotel when the check in is done.
        I confirmed it with the hotel management and your CSR lied to the customer who was already troubled and was in much need of help.
        So your CSR lie and I had not only talked to a CSR but also to the floor supervisor who I’m sure is well aware of the company’s policies.


        4. The Supervisor lied that he had already spoken to the hotel management which he had not, when I confirmed with the Hotel staff. I felt like a complete fool. What a brilliant customer fooling service. I was not even offered an alternative stay.


        5. My next concern is that how you are a dynamic, progressive and female friendly company if your customers are checked into places where they are humiliated. What have you done for your female customers?


        6. Do you have a blanket policy for everyone and are your polices are so orthodox and rigid that you rather lose a customer that help them out with other alternatives?


        7. At last but not the least, if a person is denied a check in in a hotel why does he/she have to try to reason with you to get a refund?

        Why is it that an entry level CRS has the authority to bluntly deny any help to the customer but it requires the approval of the top brass to get a refund?
        This is the fifth day and a refund is not yet made.

        I am utterly disappointed and angry as a customer and as a person.
        I feel cheated and fooled and I will do everything I can to make sure that customers like me are not harassed by you.
        I have proofs in the form of messages and audio conversations for all the complaints that I have stated above.

          Dear sir

          i am having 4 bookings in hotel heavans park booked through goibibo.com on 18th june 2016
          i received the confirmation voucher immediately saying that your booking is confirmed and there is no need to call hotel for confirmation
          now suddenly on 21st june 2016 they mailed me that all those 4 booking they cant provide as “ Hotel Heavens Park, Bilaspur ” has not been updating its inventory which resulted in a missed booking.

          i feel this is missed booking from their side

          as i received that confirmation voucher with booking id and according to that i have booked my 4 days conference in that hotel

          so i need room in that hotel only now it's their problem how they arrange to give or they refund me with reparation (muavza) money
          as its a serious issue from their side as i am facing huge difficulty

            My money was deducted while booking bus ticket odbus but the amount was not refunded though the transaction was failed. It was booked on 8th june 2016.

              Check in baggage fare Issue

              I Booked a FLIGHT Today from SRINAGAR TO CHANDIGARH while booking fare without checkin baggage was different and with baggage was different and i chose fare with baggage by paying full amount but i received email from airline stating it is without check in baggage and i reconfirmed it from goibibo they said it is with baggage but they confirmed from airline and later they said it is without baggage...Now it is complete harassment for me and...

              I booked a ticket from goibibo on 1june2015 for my travel scheduled on 14nov2015 from delhi to bangalore.

              Money was deducted from my account. But ticket was aborted on its own without any information to traveler. A day before date of travel, when i talked to customer_care_team and raised the concern, they tried to sell same flight ticket at more than double price to me (4148 to 9000 rs.).

              I had to book instant ticket (Cheapest option available among portal) at rs. 8344. Fault of goibibo has caused this loss to me, i want to recover my money.

              To be noted, goibibo called me just 1 hour before take-off and offered same ticket in the same flight with no extra charges. I wonder we can produce additional seats in flight in 24 hours. It was not helpful as i had already paid double charges for new ticket.

              Later on, i decided to get this issue resolved. Goibibo customer-care-team wasted lot of my time. I talked to 8-9 people in 2 months of time. They ended up saying that they won't pay any money, i could take 2000 gocash if i wished. The loss was of rs 4196 (=[protected].

              And gocash is of no use, i need hard cash. Though i spoke to higher authorities, there was no solution to my problem.

              Looking forward to your response. Kindly help me out.

              Lets fight.
              I get lot of emails from Goibibo because I have an account in it. But there is no option to get unsubscribed from Goibibo on their website.

                On 16th may booked for two nights at silver oaks coorg through goibibo recived a confirmation also on booking, 4 hours before journey i called the hotel only to be told that there no rooms available, the call centre gave me sub standard options and want be to pay then only which was not possible as i was travelling by train by then

                Had to spend more money and time looking for accommodation in coorg

                  I had booked flight from Jaipur to bangalore. The flight was cancelled by the airlines air costa and I was told I will get a full refund.
                  I have called the call centre 4 times regarding this. They give me different answers every time. Sometimes it's 24-48hrs, 5-7 days and now 44-90 days. Then they say airline has refunded the money but our backend team is working on it.
                  They won't even give me in written the amount to be refunded and last date till in should wait for the refund.
                  Really bad customer service from goibibo. I should not have to call 4 times for one issue.

                    I booked two tickets through goibibo for flight from bangalore to delhi on 7th june 2016 vide pnr ylgvrx. I had to cancel the ticket on[protected] due to dimes of my mother in law.
                    I used my indian overseas bank debit card. Goibibo charged rs900/ for cancellation in addition to rs3840/ charged by air asia.
                    The cancellation amount has not yet been credited even after 20 days.

                      Sub: BOOKING REF. NO JY4S1 travel Date 22nd April 2016 Mumbai -Rajkot & 2nd May 2016 Rajkot - Mumbai family of 4

                      I had book my ticketsfor my family through Goibibo on line paying money through ICICI Credit Card for Travel Date from Mumbai to Rajkot on 24th April, 2016 and Return on 2nd May 2016, then I prepone my travel to April 22, 2016 keeping Return date the same, by paying extra RS 12, 000/- through ICICI Credit card.

                      I was able to travel on April 22, 2016 to Rajkot, but on May 2, 2016 I was not allow to travel by Air India due to some cancellation of tickets by Goibibo, I spoke to the agent and literally beg to him to do the needful, but he was not able to do anything, Very importantly please note I was travelling with my family so I had to go back to city with family and stay in a hotel, then I was book for next days flight by same flight.

                      Goibibo promise me to compensation for the time loss and extra day stay in Rajkot, I am been a businessman in Mumbai having business of Export import, had to stay in Rajkot doing nothing just sitting ideal.

                      After coming back to Mumbai I am following up with Goibibo for my compensation every time I can they promise to do the needful in 24 hours, I have phone them not less then 10 times in 1 month, but they have not done anything till now.

                      I request to the Consumer Complain to look into the issue.

                        Hi Team.

                        I have tried to book flight tickets from my goibibo mobile app on 13th may
                        2016 and the transaction was done through kotak mahindra net banking.

                        The transaction failed and i have raised a case to the kotak support team
                        as 12780/- was debited from my account but the tickets were not booked.

                        Today Their manager called me and said that goibibo was received money on
                        16th may 2016 and told me these details:

                        I just want to know that when you receive the money,

                        1. You haven't booked my tickets
                        2. Now it is 12th of June and you haven't refund the amount to me also.

                        to enter my mobile number and if i enter it, i got an automated response
                        that no booking was done on my number and again prompted to enter the phone
                        number


                        i got tired all these days by calling the Kotak people and now they just
                        washed their hands by redirecting to goibibo.

                        Please do something on this

                          I have booked a bus from lucknow to delhi and bus no. Was up-75-m-3997 and my pickup point was shaheed path lucknow at 9:15 pm but at the last moment concerned person has told me that the booked bus is not travelling from lucknow to delhi so due to this i have suffered very much because on the next day i have a meeting with my clients for the business purpose but due to this incident i have missed my meeting and i have lost my business opportunity of 10lac so kindly request you to look in to this matter and my first experience with goibibo was very bad.

                            Hi,

                            Few things I need to make it very clear here.
                            1. Cancellation was not done by me, it has been processed by GoIbibo executive at the back end.
                            2. Cancellation policy on the website states "100% refund guaranteed".
                            3. GoIbibo site showed different amenities at the time of booking and after the confirmation of booking. Like free wifi, complimentary breakfast, and 100% refund on cancellation had been displayed at the time of booking but after booking was confirmed everything got changed and I just got an accommodation without any amenities. So I requested the Goibibo care to cancel the booking and process my refund ASAP.
                            4. I am still getting messages from Goibibo, that your refund has been processed and if you didn't receive the same till yet please check with bank branch and Goibibo care executive.
                            5. Status of booking on Goibibo website is showing, "Refunded".

                            I am writing this mail for the very last time, after this If I didn't get any of my refund I have to move to consumer court in regards of a cheating case done by GoIbibo. This is the second time that Goibibo has cheated on the hotel bookings.

                            I am attaching the supporting screenshots.

                            I am not getting my refund from Goibibo although they have mentioned the same in booking status. i am also getting messages from Goibibo stating that my refund has be made but I still not get my money back.

                                I booked a ticket from Lagos, Nigeria to Hyderabad, India thru this website. The flight from Lagos to Nairobi and Nairobi to Mumbai was Kenya airways and Mumbai to Hyderabad was Indigo.

                                My flight from Lagos to Nairobi was delayed and I missed the connecting flight. They put me in the next available flight and then I again missed the connecting flight in Mumbai as I got delayed in Nairobi.

                                The entire ticket is in one itinerary. Indigo refused to put me in the next available fight and made me buy another ticket to Hyderabad. I had to spend Rs 4550 and bought another ticket to Hyderabad.

                                When the connecting flight is missed due to flight delays, it is airlines responsibility to put the passenger in the next flight. It is ridiculous to ask the passenger to buy another ticket. I would like Goibibo to refuns the money as they connected Indigo in the itinerary which is not a partner of Kenya airways. They should connect with Jet Airways which is a partner.

                                Now, who is bearing the loss? Along with suffering with flight delays and fatigue with sleeplessness, I had to pay for the ticket and do everything myself, moving to domestic terminal in Mumbai using a Taxi and talking to everyone. This is a torture.

                                  The worst portal i had ever been to which provides a fake confirm voucher.
                                  I booked a hotel at coorg on goibibo for[protected] and goibibo provided me a confirmed voucher but after reaching the hotel, i came to know that the booking is not done.
                                  On informing about the same to the goibibo, the goibibo executive mr. Manish asked to wait till 10:00 am as they will come with some better options.

                                  I have booked the hotel on goibibo and they sent me the booking confirmation mail but at the time of check in the hotel staff told me that they have rejected the booking and then I called the customer care of the goibibo then the promised me that the check in will be done in half an hour then again I called them after half an hour then they said that they need some more time and then again half an hour I called and again the said they need some more time and that went for more than 5 hours that too in the night
                                  They still have not given me the room it's been 5 hours since I first called them

                                    The hotel apparently is a 3 star property, my parents had checked in yesterday in the afternoon, and they have been facing a number of inconveniences from the hotel staff.
                                    1) they were provided a dirty room earlier, it wasnt clean, the bed sheets and the floor was very dirty, when asked the staff to clean the room the staff rudely replied saying they dont have phenol and all.
                                    2) the tv hasnt been working since the time they checked in and nothing has been done for that.
                                    3) we were being told that breakfast was complementary, when asked for breakfast this morning, they said they have only aloo paratha as breakfast.
                                    4) no electricity since morning 6 o'clock, they have to sit in the heat without fan, ac, light.
                                    5) the hotel mentions free wifi, whereas there is no wifi in the rooms, the staff says that the wifi only work in the lobby.
                                    My parents are senior citizens, and this is the type of treatment they have been given, seriously this is just horrible.
