Sir,
We booked a hotel in goa for 2 nights 21 & 22 may, 2016 on booking id: htlakhnf76. Due to some unavoidable reason we needed to cancel our booking on 22 may. So, on 19 may, we requested goibibo for partial cancellation of our booking of 22 may. They said that they will reply as soon as possible but they didn't replied me till 4:32 pm on 20 may. So, i called their customer care office & they replied that they are still working on it & they are unable to contact the hotel & that they will reply very soon. Then i got the call from them just after half an hour & they said that they have now contacted the hotel & the hotel says that partial cancellation is not allowed as per hotel policy & if we do full cancellation now then we will get no refund as the refund was available on full cancellation if we had cancelled the booking before 2 pm on 20 may. Now the issue is this that when we requested goibibo for cancellation of our booking on 19 may, we didn't knew about the hotel policy neither did goibibo told us about this policy. Had goibibo told us about the policy at the time of making our request for cancellation on 19 or before 2 pm on 20 may, we would have made full cancellation & would have got our refund. It is the fault of goibibo that they failed to contact the hotel for more than 24 hours & failed to reply us for more than 24 hours. So, i request to take immediate action in this & try to make our refund.

    I hv booked hotel saikamal at shirdi w. E. F 19.05.2016 to 21.05.2016 through goibibo but there was no electricity and basic facilities i left room no 303 on 20.05.2016 at 11.00 am.
    Hotel manager denied to refund one day fare. I have also spoken to your executive shobha she said she will talk to the hotel owner and will call me but i did not got any call.
    Look into the matter and do needful

      Hi,

      I am very disappointed to inform you that i am not satisfied with the service provided by the goibibo. They are expert in fake promises. I booked a ticket on 21st april 2016 form delhi to toronto canada. For 5th may (Lufthansa airline) id: 44yp5l. It cost me rs 53, 809. I confirmed with the executive 3 or 4 times before my flight they said everything is fine. When i reached the airport checked with the airlines they said i cannot travel on this flight as i has two stops one is international (Germany) and the 2nd one is domestic (Denmark). So you need to have a special visa called transit visa to travel. I was shocked to hear that. I was travelling to canada for the first time for my further studies on student visa mentioned this to the goibobo team while confirming my ticket.
      I straight away called the goibibo help center tell them the whole story instead of helping me the were just putting my calls on hold for so long and then just disconnect i was continuously calling them and whenever i called them a new executive was there on the call i have to explain him the whole process from the beginning and again hold and hold.
      Finally after one hour i transferred there call to the lufthansa airline (It was there duty to check with the airline and help me out in that situation and they said they are not able to reach the airline at this time. 2 hours before my flight was scheduled). The lufthansa team made them understand the issue and they clearly mentioned that its goibibo mistake that they booked a wrong ticket for you. I have not received a single help form goibibo they were not even attending my calls properly and the clock was moving.
      After every possible form my side, requesting goibibo to help me out i finally cancelled my flight at that time.
      Then on the same time i booked a new flight air canada for morning with make my trip. I finally reached my destination.
      They day i reached canada i am continuously emailing these guys and sending them email regarding my refund. They promised me at the time of cancellation that they will refund my money. After several attempt they replied back that they are trying to get me a full refund.
      It was your duty to help your consumer in there problem instead of harassing them.
      I tried several times yo reach you form canada. I am out of country they also i am doing this but you guys are not at are responsible for duty.
      I updated my canadian no as well but no response.
      I wont spare you guys you made my journey a memorable trip for me.


      Please look into this matter at your level i need my full refund already filed a case against consumer court about your farad.

      I booked an international ticket via the website www.goibibo.com for which they charged and debited my credit card on immediate basis. AFter which, I received a mail stating they failed to book the ticket and that my money will be refunded within 2 -3 working days.

        Dear sir,

        Sub: cheating & fraudism to not refund inr 5619 by goibibo & mirage hotel mumbai andheri kurla road

        On 24th march i had booked a hotel in mirage mumbai andheri east for 2 days from 25/03/2016 to 27/03/2016 i had prepaid entire money inr 11, 239 /- trusting goibibo as a service provider
        I checked in at the hotel around 10 am, goibibo allotted a filthy room which was stinking; intercom was non operational ac was non operational; i lodged a complaint against mirage to goibibo but go ibibio had no answer ; i ordered food which was brought by some waiter who misbehaved while giving me pen & even i complained about it to goibibo & hotel authority but none of them take any action! Food was pathetic but more than that was concerned bout my safety ; so i decided to check out at 5pm ; i had called up goibibo as they were the one who had rated this hotel high so i choose & then i was trapped since i had already paid entire amount inr 11239 ; so i informed to goibibo & mirage hotel guys about check out but since i stayed only for few hours & so i requested hotel & go ibibo to return one day booking amount to which go ibibo & hotel guys immediateley agreed & finally one of goibibo floor manager named mr harshit spoke to shift manager & considering customer dissatisfaction promised me to atleast return one night cancellation money ; so i was fine & checked out at 5pm 25th april & trusted both parties ; on 26th morning i received a call from goibibo customer care executive mentioning mirage hotel who had committed to return one night cancellation fee is denying to do so
        Since then i m following up as on date have not got any revert on the matter ; go ibibo & mirage knowing i am a woman both have been harassing me for days now ; it is goibibo who breached the trust after promising refund went back on their word & did not take any ownership & goibibo supporting his client & still promoting them & encouraging woman customers to book hotel mirage&goibibo have hidden my feedback about mirage hotel
        I would seek justice on the matter& i neef my refund; i have recorded messages & documents to support my refund
        Please help me!!

          This is with respect to the complaint on the hotel booking done on 19th may through goibibo.com. I received this message confirming my hotel booking "dear muthukumaran, your booking is done and confirmed. Booking id - htlslkzpbg for lotus bay view pondicherry. Check in 15 may and check out 16 may. Have a pleasant stay! Your tkt: http://goo. Gl/tdnneq", but when i went to check in to the hotel i was denied a room saying the booking has been cancelled. I was not given any intimation on the cancelation. I tried to speak with the customer care for 90min standing at the hotel entrance. And finally was given accommodation which was not upto our satisfaction. The entire point of vacation was ruined by the service of goibibo. I was promised to receive a call from their supervisor but am i have not received any yet. I even tried to connect with them on twitter, but no response received.

              I have booked two rooms of savera hotel in patna for my assistants on[protected] from[protected] to[protected] through goibibo app and opted for credit card payment. I have received an otp from the bank. But i have not found any option to share this otp on the goibibo portal. I have also not received any massage from the bank regarding the payment. I think payment was not made due to some technical problem. Booking shows that its being free cancellation upto 2 pm of the[protected]. As i have not shared my otp with the goibibo and not received the massage from the bank, once again i have tried to book the one room in the same hotel from[protected] to[protected]. Same thing happened again. Booking shown a free cancellation upto 2 pm of the[protected]. Again i have not shared the opt generated by the bank. Once again i was not aware regarding the payment. Thereafter once again i tried for the booking and this time also i received a otp from the bank. This time also i have not shared the otp with goibibo. But i received a confirmation massage from the bank for payment of 3534/-. It strikes in mind that some thing wrong happened. I immediately cancelled the last two bookings. After cancellation goibibo app uptated the cancellation as refunded. I become assured that the booking amount will be credited later on in my credit card account. But when i received the credit card statement, there was not credit for the cancelled booking. I have contacted with the goibibo. Their representative refused the refund by telling that this booking is non refundable. They have send me a mail that my compliant have been resolved. I am totally surprised on their reply when the site shown that its being a free cancellation offer how it changed now non refundable. I have asked the matter with their representative as well as with their seniors. I also asked when it is non refundable booking what is the meaning of cancellation and updation of the cancellation that refunded. Without any reply they send me tha your complaint is lodge and i will receive the reply shortly and immediately forwarded me the massage that it is non refundable booking and matter is resolved. Automatically hacking the opt is a matter of big security concern. Otp system is introduced to save the customers from these frauds now these large companies are violating these security system for their malpractices on the name of customer convenience. God knows, how much fraud they have done through these fraud and malpractices. I wish to raise this matter through channel.

                Against goibibo
                I had booked my hotel reservation for surat against booking id htlv3ddtde for hotel dimple.
                As per the booking information hotel base price was 1575 on which i had got a promotional discount of 866.
                However at the hotel the base price display was 999. I had taken picture of the same and given to goibibo but they are not accepting.
                This is the case where mrp of the product is increased to show discounts and cheat customers.
                Need to have discount on the base fare of 999.

                  I booked vistara flight from new delhi to goa (Pnr: y2ode6) for 2nd april and spicejet flight from goa to delhi for 5th april. However i had to cancel that... I got the refund for the spice jet flight but not for the vistara flight (Pnr: y2ode6)

                  I called multiple times at goibibo, but they tried to put blame on vistara first, and when i confirmed with vistara that they have done the full refund, they mentioned that its pending with finance team.

                  Its been more than 2 months since i have cancelled the tickets but have not got any solution and refund. Its really frustrating...

                  I had my last conversation with himanshu and he provide 6718807 request number.

                  Please have this issue checked on priority and provide full refund amount.

                    Not refund the cancel bus ticket amount already 20 days over

                    I book the tickets from visakhapatnam to guntur on 17/04/16 but date wrongly entered and cancel the ticket with gobibio customer support and conform the ticket cancel status, already completed 20 days as of know amount not refunded to me and the booking id - gobus175e[protected]

                    And we try to call customer care numbers is asking registered mobile no, we enter the booking time mobile no but that number is not registered in booking...

                    I have done booking on 15th april and my booking id is htljgnbsyf and it was confirmed from goibibo at the same time. I booked a deluxe room at hotel jessica between 6th to 11th june 2016.

                    When i contacted hotel jessica in manali on 3rd may around they did not received any booking email and voucher from goibibo.

                    On contact to goibibo told us booking was confirmed but hotel all rooms are full and hence we cannot provide booking in the hotel.

                    When i again contacted director of hotel jessica rakesh rajput he confirmed that there are many rooms available between 6th to 11th june the period in which we booked the hotel.

                    It seems goibibo is fooling us and telling us that some amarjeet from the hotel has confirmed that there are no boking available. But this amarjeet is not from hotel and same was confirmed by rakesh rajput when taken in conference with goibibo.

                    Goibibo even does not have correct email id and phone number of hotel jessica

                    They are delaying in sending the voucher to hotel and confirmation email till today on 7th may 2016. They are saying again and again that room cannot be booked due to unavailability or are saying to refund the money or booking at another hotel. But enough time has already wasted and june will be a peak season how they will arrange another good hotel and who knows it will be good or not.

                    I want to take action against them in case they are not going to fix this and book the room in hotel jessica for mentioned period.

                      Goibibo customer care called me at 8.45 PM saying for 5-7 th may I.e.2 days bookings they would refund or upgrade to other hotel as per my choice, I asked to suggest upgraded hotel options the Manager replied that he will revert with details of options o[censored]pgrade and in case o[censored]navailability he will refund my amount.
                      To my utter shock the Manager called back in 15-20 mins saying that now he is refusing promise he made in last call and exact status would be given by tomorrow. I waited whole day with my luggage packed waiting for their final status on refund they claimed to initiated. Very bad experience . Kindly do the needful.

                        Complaint no. given by Goibibo 2171614 . Since yesterday I am continuously following up with them but they just promise that very soon I will be upgraded to better Hotel and to wait. I booked hotel seeing pics n details on Goibibo site, room I got is far different from pic, Hotel is not even 1 star property, Goibibo says they have done all needful and to wait for refund from Hotel, as I have booking for 3 more days, but no proper solution is offered except asking to wait. Details of my complaint as such -

                        In continuation to my repeated calls and below complaint reference I am sending pics of room for your kind reference, along with ones posted on Goibibo. I have booking for 5days 4 nights, 3 Nights for superior rooms and one night for deluxe room for 3 persons, including my aged parents. Please see in pics the room doesn't have enough space for 3 persons and after putting mattress on floor there is no space to move ur legs. On top of it today hotel staff wants to shift to room inferior to this one, as we have booked deluxe room for tonight. The staff is non cooperating, when I informed that Goibibo team is trying to contact n to respond on call, hotel staff rudely replied that it's not Goibibo who will decide rooms, I had to personally make call to Goibibo n make hotel speak to you. Hotel staff reason is " mam ka aaj deluxe hai na isiliye ma'am yeh sab bol rahi taki unko superior room chorna na pade" . I don't think such remarks are desirable and against my dignity, I am very old customer of Goibibo and not someone cheap. When I asked for chair I was given broken old chair, for a superior room. There is not even ventilation or exhaust fan in bath, pics attached.Request to accommodate me in some other property from today till 7th may

                          This is to bring to your notice that upon booking of airline ticket - SpiceJet PNR ECIUNK (Delhi to Ahmadabad) on the 1st of May 2016, I have received shopping vouchers worth Rs5000 out of which 5 vouchers are no longer valid ( expired dated 30th April 2016). Vouchers namely Surat Diamond jewellery, Peter England, Frogo, Zooper, Enchance clinic fall under the above said category. Highly disappointed at the treatment. Would appreciate an explanation.

                            No refund received against wrong travel date mentioned in the ticket.

                            I have not yet got the refund for the wrong travel date mentioned in my ETicket, booked using GoiBibo.

                            I had booked a flight ticket using GoiBibo, from Bhubaneswar to New Delhi for 18-Apr-2016, but when I received the ETicket, I was really shocked to find that travel date mentioned was 14-Apr-2016. I immediately called-up GoiBibo customer care and informed this mistake to them. Initially they told me that I would have selected 14-Apr-2016 as travel date, but I strongly refuted their claims. Then they suggested me to cancel the ticket, but I stood firm and told them that I will not cancel, because it was not my fault, rather it was their system fault. I had asked them for FULL refund of my ticket amount, but every time they say they had not got any response from their technical team, hence I would have to wait for another 24-48 hours. This has been going on since 2-3 weeks now. I have not yet got the refund amount. I am really fade-up and seriously considering to appeal in consumer forum. Anyone have any better suggestion for me ?

                                I am a student and I was about to travel to Canada with my Canada visa.
                                I booked an online airplane ticket from British Airways on March 17th through goibibo app for april 28th, 2016. I was never told by any of their representatives and it was nowhere mentioned that I need to have dublin visa. My journey was New delhi-London, London-Dublin and Dublin-Toronto. I was not even able to see the boarding pass for dublin on their website or app. I went to the airport to board my flight and then while check in, I was told that I cannot travel as I do not have Visa for Dublin which I did not know that is required.
                                i spoke to Ibibo representative, instead of helping me, he put me on hold and did not resolve my query.
                                ibibo is doing fraud things and making money from us by befooling us. I had to come back from airport. I was told that my visa could have been cancelled because of these fraudsters.
                                Please dont book from their website or app. I lost my money but I will file a case against these fraud.

                                I suffered a lot at the airport. Even british airways chief advised me to not to book anything from their end. They are selling tickets at cheaper price and when one goes there, he/she has to come back.
                                I booked my ticket again. If I do not get my reimbursement back, I am going to file a case against these fraud.

                                  I booked fight through goibibo.com on 17th Apr 2016, the booking was on 14th may 2016 . My booking PNR NO is YN5GZ. The total bill amount was Rs. 8936/-.

                                  But because of some misspilt(Passenger name) we have to cancel our ticket. I filed a request for cancellation on 26th Apr 2016. This was approved by goibibo.com.

                                  After that I got a message that Rs. 3105/- will be deducted to my amount. I immediately contact...

                                  I can very well sympathize with you, GoIBiBo had done similar type of fraud with my case also. I had booked online flight ticket for date 18-Apr-2016, but they booked the ticket for 14-Apr-2016. What more, in spite of repeated requests and complaints, they are not willing to refund my ticket amount. GoIBibo seems such a fraud group that we should never ever book tickets with them .

                                    This is in regards to a hotel booking done by me on April 16th' 2016 through the Goibibo website. The hotel booking was for 4 nights and five days and the hotel name was Temple Tree Hotel in Wilson Garden area, Bangalore.

                                    While booking the hotel through the website, I selected twin accommodation in the 'number of people in the room' and I was given a price quote of INR 10, 867 including taxes with Breakfast and Dinner included (after applying a 'GOKARDE' discount as part of the promotions by Goibio. I paid this amount using my debit card. When I reached hotel with my wife, the Manager told us that the booking is only for a single occupant and it is not on twin sharing basis.

                                    When I inquired from Goibibo customer care service, they said that there is a system error due to which you were shown incorrectly that the booking you made is for two people however the booking amount is for one person. I argued with them that they should be returning me the money or make adjustments in the current hotel booking so that I be compensated.

                                    My request was not entertained neither by the Hotel Manager and by Goibibo manager. Since I could not cancel my current booking at the last moment, I had to pay the Hotel INR 5, 000 additional so that I could get a double occupancy room.

                                    This is one of those pathetic and eye opening experiences which shows how customers money is stolen and customers are lost.

                                    I would never ever recommend your website to any of my friends and relatives although I am sure you won't bother loosing a handful of customers.

                                      I booked two rooms at one hotel in Shimla through goibibo.com on 06th Apr 2016, the booking was from 22nd Apr 2016 to 24th Apr 2016. My booking id is HTLUZEL5ZJ. The total bill amount was Rs. 10, 712/-, after all adjustments and discounts I paid Rs. 6, 812/- from my credit card.

                                      But because of some emergency we have to cancel our plan and hotel booking as well. I filed a request for cancellation on 08th Apr 2016. This was approved by goibibo.com.

                                      After that I got a message that Rs. 949/- will be refunded to my bank account after all adjustments. I immediately contact them; they said this is as per our policy and showed me a long calculation.

                                      I have paid Rs. 6812/- and they are refunding Rs. 949/- against it, which is almost 86% of paid amount. The tariff of hotel is 2500/- per room per day, And I paid to them Rs.5863/- for just holding the booking...means Rs. 2932/- per day, which is more than the hotel tariff.

                                      I didn't understand their policy of refund and they are also not taking my complaints seriously.

                                      I have asked them to take 10% or 20% as cancellation charges but they are not interested. Still there is 13 more days for 22nd Apr, they will get any other booking easily and they have charged me as well.

                                      They are making fool of the customers. Request you to kindly look into this.

                                      With regards to your email, Kindly note that When you cancelled the booking at that time as per the cancellation policy you will get 50% refund if you cancel the booking before 12th Apr.

                                      So as per the cancellation policy of hotel and goibibo kindly find the below calculation :
                                      50% cancellation charges would be calculated on the vendor amount i.e. INR 10400 which comes upto INR 5200.
                                      Cancellation charges would be deducted from the paid amount of customer i.e (INR[protected] = 3512).
                                      Then from the actual refund amount i.e. INR 3512 goibibo cancellation charges of 10% & 3% will be deducted i.e. (INR[protected] = 2849)
                                      Refund amount of the you is INR 2849 and according to our policies refund firstly goes in gocash account then the remaining amount is credited in your bank account.
                                      Gocash credited - INR 1900 & Card Amount INR 949.
                                      We hope that above is in order.

                                      Also please note that the calculations are done on the basis of cancellation policy

                                      Thanks for sharing the calculation of cancellation charges...I have understood now how you guys makes fool of the customers. This is how your policies works, the entire amount would be paid from customer's pocket.
                                      I have few points (you can say this as the objection) where i am not very clear :

                                      1.) Why you deduct cancellation charges from the gross amount, which i think should be from paid/net amount.
                                      2.) After all deduction you took your amount first (gocash, goibibo charges)...then if there is any balance left that you paid to customer. Means all burden levied on the customer only.
                                      3.) In my case I paid Rs. 6, 812/- from my card after all adjustments and discounts. After cancellation and all your calculation I get Rs. 949/- back in my account. Means you deduct Rs. 5863/- from my money for holding the hotel booking for two days.which is almost 86% of my payment.
                                      4.) Hotel tariff is Rs. 2500/- per night and I paid Rs. 2931/- per day for just holding your reservation.

                                      Goibibo is the worst service I have ever seen, will not your services again. You have the most customer non friendly services one could ever seen.
