I have booked a delhi-mumbai - delhi flight from your platform.
Round trip flightbooking id - gofld18d[protected]

Because of covid reasons my family could not travel, also flight got cancelled. I asked for refund. But no response. My constant followup what i got refund is only rs. 118 whereas cost of my tickets was more than 10, 000 rs.

Is it fair, i tried to many times but no response.

Can some one look into it and help me with the resolution.

    I had to follow up several times to get the refund status (4 tickets in the past 2 months). The other bookings for same airlines and same dates, got refunded to my account two months ago from another travel agent.

    My tickets are not shown in booking history, i can't call customer service, i can't reach from the mobile app - no history is shown in website.

    This is a pathetic service to be honest.

    Last communication received on july 19th as below. No updates after that.

      I need to put my complaint on this forum as i am not getting refund of the flight ticket i cancelled at the start of covid lockdown. It has been 5 months now.
      I had booked flight ticket for my mother - mrs. Sushila vashishta (Booking pnr - jpp4sx), klm flight departure march 26, 2020 (Mumbai-toronto) and return flight (Toronto - mumbai) sept 14, 2020.
      As the govt announced lockdown and flight suspensions, i contacted goibibo customer care and cancelled the tickets on march 20, 2020. I was told by goibibo representative that it will take 2-4 weeks to get the refund.
      I followed up again on april 3 with customer care - they replied - "we have initiated the full refund against your booking and the same is under the validation from the airlines once the validation is complete refund will be released will be reflected in your account through the same mode of the payment."... Email attached for reference
      As i didnt receive the refund, we sent an email again to goibibo on may 27, but this time got automated reply saying that goibibo email id is now non-operational.
      We tried contacting their customer care number multiple times but it doesn't connect. Also tried their online goibibo support, it is of no use as it is an automated chatbot and does not provide update.
      Then i wrote on their facebook page asking for the refund;i only got the same standard reply/excuse - "we are yet to receive a confirmation from the airline regarding refund against cancellation of your booking. Once we receive the confirmation, the applicable amount will be processed automatically to you."
      I even tried contacting klm airlines directly, but they replied that if the tickets were booked through travel agent (Goibibo) then i need to contact goibibo regarding refund.
      It is really annoying to followup over and over again to get the refund of our hard earned money. It has been 5 months now.
      Response from goibibo has been very poor.
      I would like to seek intervention of the senior authority managing this consumer complaints forum to kindly intervene and tell goibibo to process and credit the refund money on immediate basis.

        I booked two tickets through goibibo, one from delhi to kolkata on 7th of august and second from kolkata to delhi for 10th of august. Both flight got cancelled by the airline as the flights were un-operational. I request for full amount refund regarding this in goibibo customer care and they ask me to talk to airline and to submit the remarks for full refund. I do the same and than again contacted the goibibo customer care and they raise the request for refund as they got the remarks of full refund from the airline. I requested for this on 5th of august and today is 11th of august and till now i neither get my amount refunded nor there is any further sms of mail regarding the process initiation. What the hell is going on with goibibo? Why my money is not refunded till now? Why the customer service is so much poor of goibibo? Are you trying to cheat the customer money? Is your company a thief? Are you fooling your customer?
        I want my money back within 24-48 hours in my account or the consequences will be very harsh and bad.
        Very pathetic, very poor, very harassing service of goibibo. I am not going to recommend anyone to use goibibo and that's for sure.

          I had booked ticket on 25 jan booking id: n6efg7its. Flight was from ahemdabad to delhi by pnr-fg7its of indigo flight amount 5, 378.
          Ticket got cancelled due to covid 19.
          I have been confirmed by goibibo for returning refund on 16 july by email and by message on mobile on 24 july.
          But no action has been taken so far. Attaching snapshot for both.
          Kindly help.

            I have booked a flight ticket for 1st august 2020 for destination jaisalmer to ahmedabad to indore. Due to covid -19 pandemic my flight was cancelled by trujet airlines.

            So till this date i have not received my refund for this flight. The pnr number of that flight was bsmv23. I have chatted with your customer care but i didn't get the proper response.

            So please refund my payment as soon as possible.

                We bought round trip ticket for chennai to chicago in february 2020, for 125k from goibibo. The lufthansa flights got cancelled due to covid situation. Even after so many talks with customer service, not received any refund so far. They raised refund process on 27th may, but even after 75 days not received my refund.

                My PNR is LU6XE4. My trip is marked as completed in Goibibo app. My refund is not yet received but they sent an email saying my refund is credited back. Very confusing consumer service

                  Hi team,
                  I had booked flight ticket from blr-jpr, through www.GOIBIBO.com, journey date on 1st april 2020. I paid rs. 19725 for booking flight. Flight was of air asia, pnr is: ork3yr flight got cancelled due to covid-19.
                  I tried to connect goibibo support for refund. But goibibo support is not reachable. They are not picking up the customer support number, not replying any mail.
                  I contacted to airline (Air asia) and they confirmed they have refunded full amount to goibibo on 7th may. (Attachment 1 is the screenshot of the mail from airasia).

                  Then i submitted an online query (Filling online form) for full refund on gobibo, they initiated refund of rs 13965 manually which i have received.
                  Still rs. 5760 is pending with gobibo. Now, they are not picking up the call, no mail reply, and they are keeping my online query ticket open (#[protected] hence, i am not able to raise another query and this ticket is in pending state more that one month. They are not providing any resolution of it. (Find the attachment 2 for screenshot).

                  Gobibo's bangalore office is also closed. I really don't have any way to reach them and ask for refund.
                  It's been long time i am chasing to them, almost 4 months. Please help me to get my remaining refund.

                      I booked air tickets through 'goibibo' in 'goair' from hyderabad to lucknow on 5th january for the date of 7th march 2020 and then from lucknow to hyderabad on 1st february 2020 for the date 18th march 2020. Due to some reason my tickets got cancelled from the goair side and they sent me confirmation emails for both the tickets but i didn't get my money back. My booking id for hyderabad to lucknow is 'ng8e3ul9f', invoice no. Is '[protected]e3ul9f' and for lucknow to hyderabad booking id is 'ng8fdp6nh', invoice no. Is '[protected]fdp6nh'. Please help me to get my money back.

                        This is to inform you that i am not able to reschedule or apply for refund of my flight cancelled during covid-19 lockdown.
                        I have tried multiple times but found no response from goibibo. I have already contacted airlines regarding the same and they have confirmed that they have initiated refund since june 2020 and now goibibo has to take the call. But even after multiple emails and calls goibibo is not responding.

                          Booking ref# pnr km8l5n from cok to auh, on 11th july 2020. Cancelled due to covid19, indigo is ready to refund the full money, but ibibo transferred the money to credit shell withoutmy consent. Need refund.

                            On 2nd july 2020 indigo airlines refunded rs. 855 to goibibo and 4th august i cancelled the ticket with airlines because of flight operational issue. Goibibo customer care number is not active it's not working. I am waiting for my rs. 855 past more than one month. Where is my refund. Nor your email is working neither calls working. How will i get my refund back.

                              I am writing to you to raise an issue about: flights ticket

                              The issue that i have experienced was: booked ticket for dubai to chennai & chennai to dubai.

                              It occurred on: 6/08/2020 when tried reaching your customer support as ivr is not allowing to talk with an agent.

                              I want full refund of both tickets. Due to pandemic, no plans for travelling another one year.

                                Hi - I had flights from Mumbai to Toronto with Ethiopian Airlines on April 1, 2020 through Goibibo. Due to lockdown, I had got call from Goibibo that they would provide me a reschedule code t reschedule this flights within a year. But I never received any code. On contacting Ethiopian Airlines directly, the Hyderabad agent provided a reschedule code to Goibibo, copying me on email, for rescheduling. Still no action. I have written at least 20 email and received no response. The contact numbers on the website are not useful, and if it get connected, they raise a ticket and mark it as resolved saying the case is sent to appropriate department for action. The amount is 49500 and its been more than 5 months now receiving no confirmation or help from the travel provider. There is no easy way to contact them or get a clear resolution.

                                Summary of Conversation:
                                1. They said they will provide reschedule code
                                2. Then they said they are short of staff and helping people only within 24 hours of travel
                                3. On March 31 and April 1 (travel within 24 hours) - no contact
                                4. Then they stopped replying to emails, calls say they are under lockdown so no staff
                                5. Now they say they are only helping people travelling within a month
                                6. Now, they are saying, we are not assisting on call because we don't have staff so book or contact through website.
                                7. Website says your ticket is under covid cancellation and we are trying to contact airlines (while airlines already gave them code)
                                8. No other chat or contact option is helpful, not even cancelling the ticket is working.

                                  We had booked tight through Goibibo for flight from Pune to Bhopal for 15th April'2020, through Air India Flight (AI482) leaving Pune at 12.35pm and reaching Bhopal by 2.00pm. However due to Corona Virus rapid spread in all parts of India, this flight was cancelled by Airlines.
                                  Passenger was Mr. Milind Sharma.

                                  Since the flight was not used the amount of INR 4995/- would have been refunded to us, but as of this writing we have not received the refund. In-fact we received one mail from Goibibo on 12th May'2020 stating that the refund will be done in the source account within 21 days. It is almost 3 month and we have not received the funds.

                                  Kindly look into the matter and let we know by when same will be refunded, or Goibibo is not interested in paying back our money.

                                  For reference, I am enclosing Ticket/ Confirmation of Ticket and Mail from Goibibo regarding refund.

                                  I have been trying but there is no response.

                                    Good Evening,

                                    I booked a GO-AIR flight G-8 120 class H from Bengaluru to Delhi
                                    schedule from 11:40 to 14:30 which got cancelled as per the attached screen shot.

                                    Later on on the goibibo portal it shows that i have travelled.
                                    You may refer the second screen shot.

                                    Is this a joke ? or another procedure to extract money from
                                    the wallets of needy people who are desperate to travel under urgent circumstances as the service is no longer being used due to its pathetic customer treatment.

                                    Actions taken so far:-

                                    1. Tried calling the customer services but no one answers or the call is never received
                                    There is no formal medium of complain on the website

                                    2. Tried reaching out to the official goibibo chatbot.There is chat bot which refuses to accept any form of faults from the company's portal perspective

                                    3. I had also lodged a complain on resolver which is the main website for consumer complains associated with goibibo but it seems its closed now.

                                    There is no forum or medium through which we can connect with them for complains.
                                    None of the complain forums are reachable. This is the only medium.

                                    It seems the airline service is taking advantage of the Global Crisis Situation of Covid to get money from the consumers.

                                    This is a highly disappointing service offered by the Goibibo.

                                      I had booked a ticket via indigo airlines through go ibibo which was cancelled. Indigo airlines refunded the money to goibibo. Goibibo inturn told me they have initiated the process for refund into my account but i never got it and each time i contact them they say it will be credited after 14 working days but it is never credited and i have been waiting for 5 months now.

                                        I’m contacting you in regards to the booking against pnr no. V8w12u and f4niwd for amount ₹6, 215.
                                        This was a round trip ticket with departure from delhi to pune on march 23 and pune to delhi on march 28. However, i got my flight rescheduled to april 2 and april 6, respectively because of covid. Unfortunately, due to the current covid pandemic crisis, the flight did not operate.
                                        After contacting air asia for several times, they informed me that they refunded the amount to goibibo. However, goibibo seemed unwilling to give me my refund. Air asia clearly mentioned that the refund had been done to the agency. But there is no way where i can contact goibibo. Goibibo has been careless and is not able to solve my issue since april. I request you to take an action against it.
