Hello,
I tried to withdraw the amount from Non ICICI Bank ATM on 21st Of Jan 2012. The transaction was failed due to some reason. Hence, I logged a complaint with ICICI guys by calling to their call center. I was obviously charged for that. The resolution I received from them was pathetic, They told me that I have logged an incorrect complaint with them and was told that the transaction was successful.
Further, I logged an another complaint second time complaint number (SR[protected]. This time my complaint was resolved and I received the Rs. 1000. However as per the RBI guidelines, I was informed that my complaint should have been resolved within 7 days from the date of transaction.
As they guys failed to return the amount back into my account within 7 days.
So as per RBI guidelines they are liable to pay me the compensation of Rs.100/ day, for the time period of (28th of Jan to 24th of Feb) which is for 28 days i.e: (Rs. 2800).
So I am requesting them to credit my account with 2800(Compensation). If they are not able to credit the amount, then I will also charge them for the frustration I have been facing to receive this 1000 + 2800 compensation from them.
Also, the more they will delay this matter, the more they'll have to pay (100/ day as per RBI Guide lines)
Further, I have already escalated the issue to (Mr. Krishnan Govindan) and I was promised that my query will get resolved on or before 23/02/2012. However I have not received the resolution or any reply from him yet.
