Hi All,

My Name is XYZ as i dont want to reveal my name . I am paying the personal loan of my Wife from last 48 months . From last one month i am not able to pay the EMI due to some financial crisis .

ICICI Bank personal loan recovery agents are harrashing me like any thing . Sending some harsh sms . Exectutive Ph # [protected].

They even threated me that they will caught me and my wife outside . I dont understand is non payment of one EMI is such a crime ?

Please help me in this regard .

I am very hopeful that i will pay in next month .

    ICICI Bank recovery agents have been harassing me a lady and my father on our mobile numbers. I have not taken any loan from ICICI Bank / nor have any credit card defaults with them. we have been receiving threatening calls from the Recovery agents. The people who call us are Pradeep balakrishnan, Bharath and Rajaguru.

    The numbers where the calls come from are as follows: [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].

    I am planning to lodge a complaint in the ladies police station on the harassment meted to us by the ICICI recovery agents.

    As per the RBI act,

    the agents should not resort to intimidation or harassment of any kind, either verbal or physical, against any person in their debt collection efforts, including acts intended to humiliate publicly or intrude into the privacy of the [B][U]borrower's / credit card holder's FAMILY MEMBERS, referees and friends, making threatening and anonymous calls or making false or misleading representations.

    Hi,
    I am also getting calls nowadays from the same numbers saying pending credit card payment and loan payment. Even I have not taken any of the same.

    Apart from this they are even threatening me that they will block my salary account which is with different bank.

      I am Anandkumar Desai, having salary account with ICICI Bank, Chinchwad branch.
      I had lost my purse and the debit card on 18/12/2011. on the same day, between 8 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. I have tried to reach to customer care executive to block my card by calling on [protected] 35-40 times. But constantly there was a message that the number is busy kindly try after some time.
      At 11:00 p.m. somehow I was able to connect with another customer service number and blocked my card and made the application for new card on the same time. The executive who has taken my application of new card, told me that I shal receive the new card within 3 working days and I will be charged by Rs. 221 for that.
      On 21/12/2011, my account has been debited by Rs. 221. On 22/12/2011 I had received the PIN number for the new card but not the card. Today, on 23/12/2011, when I called again to customer care number, the executive told me that it will take around 10 days to receive a new card at your residence.

      I am attaching the scan copy of the written complaint that i have made to the branch manager - Chinchwad, Pune

      So, to concude,
      1) Customer care numbers are not working when required
      2) There are always descrepencies in the information provided by the customer care executives.

      What protection is provided to the consumer for wrong information and non availability of service as and when required?

        Reference folio no. 6728076 holder name Ram Kishan Wadhwa and folio no. 6728087 holder name Ram Kishan Wadhwa purchased six bonds and the same have been matured, but the maturity amount is not received by the holder till date after lapse of as many as 3-4 years. So you are requested to look into the matter and do the needful for payment of maturity amount.

          My iMINT Card number = [protected]
          PAYBACK user name = gautam.sood

          When I created the PAYBACK account today, account name = gautam.sood, some 3650+2350+5450 = 11450 were taken BACK by PAYBACK under PAYBACK Redemption.

          Under ICICI the rules say:
          "Your PAYBACK points expire after 3 years from the date the points are credited to your PAYBACK account."
          In my case, since my account got created today --> It cant be cancelled before I even join PAYBACK and the iMINT points should be VALID.

          Since I registered today and all my points were under iMINT since all this while - how can they be cancelled?
          ICICI also says:
          "your i-mint points will be transferred to your PAYBACK account at no extra charge and with no change in your point status"

          I should get all my IMINT points in PAYBACK !!!

            Hi,

            I'd purchased a Flat in 2008. At the time of Registration, 1st cheque of my home loan was disbursed with my signature, however the remaining amount was disbursed (in 2 installments) in subsequent months without my knowledge and signature.
            Builder upon receiving entire amount, systematically avoided the construction activites and now left in the midway with still lot of work pending. When approached, he will settle the issue in the Court of Law. However, am paying the EMI regularly for no benefit in return.
            As the Advocates, i approached so far was not professional enough to settle the issue ASAP i.e. they are customer hunter's for money, kindly help me in clarifying/answering the below questions -
            1) As my flat issue is around 3 yrs old, can i approach the consumer court for help ?
            2) If so, what's the process in approaching the court and getting settled the issue ?
            3) How to find able lawyer, who can work professionally and help me in resolving the case ?
            4) Can i take any action on ICICI Bank ?
            5) Want to Reschedule the Loan Cycle i.e. stop the interest calculation on my loan, until the completion of my flat.

            Note:- From the Disbursement Forms submitted by the Bank, i can clearly establish the Signature Forgery.

            same thing happened with me also with ICICI Bank. They forged my signatures on the original agreement form. I have filed a criminal case against Branch manager of ICICI Bank. By the court orders an FIR has been registered. Very soon court will arrest the culprit. You can contact me on [protected]@gmail.com.

                Hi Team,

                I had been using an ICICI Credit card since 2008 and I had a Two Wheeler Loan as well in 2009 when my Two Wheeler Loan installments were paid off then I received a call from ICICI Lombard to get an Health Insurance Policy but I denied at the same time instead of they issued a Health Policy, even I did not receive a single paper of that policy. An amount of Rs. 6,000 was deducted from my credit card. I called many times in ICICI Lombard to terminate it even I discussed with the executive and he told me to drop an email to terminate it then it will be terminated automatically but actually it did not happen.

                Then I decided not to pay anything for this, now I became a big Defaulter in CIBIL.
                Please suggest me as earlier what would be in my favor.

                  I have same problems all over again
                  Netbanking transaction password never worked after 10 complaints
                  ATM were not updated for credit card payment at any of the nearest branch at indore near my home.
                  unreasonable penalty and charges on icici bank credit card even after paying the all dues and purchase charges.
                  i am fed up of this problem with icici bank and icici bank credit cards .

                        Hello,

                        Today when I analysed my Transaction, I found that I had been charged Rs 84.27 for ATMDEC CHG in previous months.
                        This particular charges are applied when transaction is declined by other bank but as per RBI rules
                        anyone can withdraw from other banks. so why this charges are levied . I want to officials of ICICI Bank to act upon it and reverse the amount which is deducted on the name of ATMDEC CHG throught out.

                            Sub:- Complaint about credit card issued by ICICI Bank Delhi.


                            Sir,
                            I bought credit card from ICICI Bank in Oct.2005, my credit card no-([protected] ). I purchased some goods during the period from 20/11/2005 to 14/02/2006, amounting Rs. 10984.00. I deposited Rs19680.00 during the period from 14/12/2005 to 10/10/2007. The amount paid had been collected by the bank agent and I got payment receipts in original, which are kept with me. The amount deposited by me includes principal money and interest for two years @ 2.95% p.m. and service tax @ 10.9%.
                            After depositing the amount the bank did not issued me NOC and the bank is harassing and threatening me several times on phone. The bank has malafied intention to bargain me. Even in Lok Adalat the case has been cleared but the bank authorities are disturbing me till now.

                            Hence I request your honour kindly to look into the matter and please take necessary action, so that the bank does not harass me in future.

                            Agree. ICICI is very notorious for this type of treatment I too have been suffering from their fraudulent practices for so many years.
                            today a call came from legal department and excutive is Mr. ANKIT., he was abusing and threatening me, please take some against him ASAP.

                            Thanks for taking up my issue. The concerned person in charge of the case did contact me, but he is still sticking to his stand that there was indeed no such scheme. He is not willing to listen to my statement that there was indeed one such customer care executive, who had accepted that there was indeed such a scheme. Since you monitor all the calls made to the customer, you should have this acceptance in your records. But this person is not ready to do it. Very poor service..

                                Dear Marketing Team @ ICICI,

                                It would be better if you were to avoid any cross promotions / cross selling of shopping sites like shoppers stop for availing your service. You make it look like a bonus or incentive but the only winner in this is Shoppers Stop and not you.

                                While it may have been my fault not to read the conditionalities of the offer in my inbox because the link which was not enabled and had to be copy+pasted to visit. Still, I feel I do not need such a misleading offer to continue patronising ICICI Bill Pay services.

                                Anyways, your erstwhile imint and now paybacks do not have an rewarding experience for 'reward points' You do not have to rub it in with these offers.

                                Trust you will either come up with an actually rewarding scheme which does not involve any shenanigans or hidden expenses. I would rather have something very nominal like a coffee mug worth Rs.50 with a cute caricature sketch of Chennai (and likewise given for respective users in Mumbai, Bangalore and other cities) for patronising HSBC's Credit card Bill Pay service. I still treasure this mug which has HSBC branding integrated in the caricature and keep it on my office desktop. It also closely reflects HSBC's credo line of being a 'local' bank.

                                Something creative on those lines while still being cost effective would be more appropriate and ensure a positive 'rewards' experience than these schemes which I feel are just below ponzi schemes.

                                    Hi All,

                                    I bought investmentshield cashback policy from ICICIpru life with a Rs 5000 premium per month. Since last 40 months I have paid Rs. 2,00,000 in premium but my funds were performed really badly and my net fund value showed only Rs. 1,40,000. Which means a loss of Rs. 60,000 in 3 years.

                                    I come to know that my assets were very poorly and carelessly allocated to start with( 100% debt and 0% equity). Even though the optimized asset allocation tool kept on alerting that assets must be properly allocated, nothing was done about it. As, for some strange reasons, ICICIinvest sheild doesn't allow the asset switch to correct for the mistakes !! To add to worries, the fund advisor of icici ( could be very well any roadside agent) doesn't have any contact details. How it could be ?? Customer care doesn't know anything, of course.

                                    Now, the loss of my hard earned money and no option to salvage or minimize my losses is very painful and traumatic.

                                    Any advice or action against such traps by ICICI to rob consumers of their hard earned money would be really appreciated and helpful.

                                        Subject : 1. ICICI Bank is indulging in unfair trade practices to
                                        Dupe innocent Home Loan Customers/ operating in
                                        self styled fashion without fear of Law

                                        2. ICICI Bank Levied Pre-Payment Penalty on Principle
                                        O/S Rs 1,10,749.00 to the tune of Rs 16,039.05 @ 14.48%

                                        3. Principal O/S Rs 1,05,698.00 was, as per ICICI Bank
                                        record attached, but they hiked it to Rs 1,10,749.00

                                        4. Original Loan was granted by ICICI Home Finance
                                        but to avoid purview under HFC they seems to have falsified records to dupe the Public in India, People already facing heat on account of Interest Hike, inflation, economic slowdown, job losses, Price Hike to name few.

                                        5. The inflation, Price hike, Economic Slowdown takes time to control but this practice is easier to control and will benefit masses and will enhance the image of the Government being pro masses.

                                        Most Respected Hon’ble Finance Minister,

                                        I beg apology for encroaching upon your valuable time, but today I exhausted all channels in HFC & Ministry of Finance, who in turn referred it back to HFC, leveling me back to square one. The facts of the case are penciled down as under;

                                        1. I have availed home Loan from ICICI HOME FINANCE vide Loan account Numbers LBDEL[protected] & LBDEL[protected], offer letter attached in “Appendix 6” page no’s 20 to 23.

                                        2. The ICICI Bank levied pre-payment penalty against Account Number LBDEL[protected] @ 14.48%, on Principal O/S of Rs 1,10,749.00 amounting to Rs 16,039.05, closure letter is enclosed in “Appendix 3” page no. 1.

                                        3. The Principal O/S as per ICICI Bank record is was 1,05,898.00 but raised it to 1,10,749.00, record downloaded from ICICI Bank is attached in “Appendix 3” page no. 4.

                                        4. Had I paid installments stretched over 13 months, I would have ended paying Rs 1,12,882.00, whereas they charged me Rs 1,30,396.31, copy of cheque attached in “Appendix 3”, “Page no. 2”.A clean penalty to the tune of Rs 17514.31 for paying early, besides putting other interest charge etc..

                                        5. The Bank also levied pre-payment penalty on 2nd Loan Account No. LBDEL[protected], Principal O/S 3,66,592.00 @ 2.21%, of Rs 8101.68.

                                        6. Needless to mention but the time value of money principal applies here that “a Rupee today is worth more than a Rupee in the future” Banks should give discounts rather than imposing pre-payment penalty.

                                        7. I represented my case to housing Financial Corporation vide letter Ref. ref. no. NHB/ICICIBANK/HL SETTLEMENT/1 Dated 14th June, 2011, copy enclosed in “Appendix 5” pages 16 to 19. The same was registered vide ack. Letter ref. no. NHB(ND)/Complaint Cell/577/7531/2011/7439 dated 22nd June, 2011, copy attached in “Appendix 5” page no. 15.

                                        8. The same case was returned by NHB vide letter ref. no. NHB(ND)/Complaint Cell/577/11654/2011 dated August 25, 2011, citing jurisdiction issue. The copy of reply is enclosed in “Appendix 5” page 12. It seems that NHB did not go deeply in the documents/ references I made in my letters enclosed in “Appendix 5” pages 12(1) to 13 & 16 to 19.

                                        9. The fact remains that Loan Offer letter was originally issued by ICICI Home Finance, enclosed in “Appendix 6”, pages 20 to 23, subsequently the loan revision letter as well as “Provisional statement for claiming Deductions under Section 80C(2)(xviii) & 24 (b) of the Income tax act, 1961” was also issued by ICICI HOME FINANCE, please refer “Appendix 7” , pages 24 to 26 &“Appendix 8” pages 27 & 28. Please also refer “Appendix 10” pages from 58 to 78, Loan Agreement inked between ICICI HOME FINANCE & us.

                                        10. The above mentioned documents establishes beyond all doubt that HFC was mislead by ICICI Bank and they tried the same to me by writing letter dated July 13, 2011, copy enclosed in “Appendix 5”, page 14. Now let us say even if ICICI Bank is acting as per law by managing readings between lines or using whatever technique then this is not pro-people but pro-Bank. A Google search would reveal how many people are suffering, sucked by Banks and the complaints are falling on deaf ears, becoming part of the web achieves.

                                        11. The same complaint is also lodged with PG Portal vide Ref. No. DEABD/E/2011/01013 dated 21st July, 2011.

                                        12. Even this information was also filed with Competition Commission of India under Section 4(2) of CCI-Abuse of Dominant position by ICICI Bank, vide letter Ref. No. :CCI/ICICIBANK/HL SETTLEMENT/1 Dated 14th June, 2011, Copy enclosed vide “Appendix 4” Pages from 8 to 11, but without response till date. It needs special attention of CCI as it is not affecting individuals but masses running in Millions.

                                        13. Unless stringent action coupled with unusual penalties viz. 100 times or more the amount realized/ extracted is imposed on Banks, they will continue to extract /extort money from people, and affected parties will grow manifold day by day causing resentment among the masses.

                                        14. Hon’ble Finance Minister your intervention at this crucial juncture is sought to benefit masses by restoring the money collected by Banks for the last two or three years with penal interest. It will also boost the image of the government especially at a time when countrymen are bleeding on account of inflation, price hike, interest hike, fuel price hike, to name few. It will be viewed as populist measure in favor of masses/ families suffered, suffering and are suppose to suffer in future in the hands of Lending Institutions/ Banks.
