Dear Madam,
To continue on the below interactions, I have made the TAD payment on my card account and checked at least thrice that if I am going to do a high value transaction (Rs.80, 000/- plus) and wanted to convert the transaction into EMI. I was informed that the same can be done.
Today when I called your helpline number to convert the transaction into EMI, I was shocked to hear that you have stopped the EMI facility.
I am not in a position to pay the amount in one go.
You declined my previous request. Now if I don't get the resolution in my favour, I am not going to pay a single rupee.
You are harassing your honest customer's like anything by applying wrong means to earn money. I am not going to leave this matter at any cost until I get the resolution as per my requirement/convenience.
I have gone through lot of mental harassment due to your negligent service and I will approach authority to get the justice (if i fail to get the same from you).

I don't thing my mail is reaching to right person otherwise inspite of my several mail communication, the same response is being communicated to me.
Earlier I used to say to my friends that ICICI Bank is the best bank to Bank with (as per my previous interaction) but sorry to say my thinking has changed to "ICICI Bank is the worst Bank to Bank with".
They do not care for their honest customers.
ICICI Bank does not take into consideration the customer previous relationship/history before saying no to customers.
ICICI Bank uses malpractice to earn financial charges.
People responding to mails are robot/machine and not human being nither they go through the customer mail properly (which is justified if you go through all my interactions till now on this issue).

Lastly, I am not going to pay a singly paise extra (apart from the purchase amount) as you are unable to prove that you have delivered the last 2 months statements to me, which you have communicated in all your communication. This is my hard earned money which I am not going to waste at any cost.

Further, if any mishap happens to my Savings account you will be responsible for further consequences.

Don't reply to this mail if you have to communicate same thing. Reply only if you have anything else to communicate (POD of delivery of statement or reversal of interest charges for last 2 months) as it irritates me. If you reply the same thing again I am not going to pay anything even the purchase amount and will go legally and seek compensation.

Don't reply just for the shake of replying.

    I am holding a Demat account with ICICI Direct Today when I have tried to login into their trading site, my login was not allowed with the reason "Pursuant to our letter dated March 23, 2009 and earlier communication by us, regarding re-submission of your ICICI Direct Account Opening Forms (they have lost all the documents submitted by me at the time of opening the account, and hence I should provide them with the details) your account has been temporarily deactivated. Please contact the nearest ICICIdirect hub or Call Center for further assistance." but as per their request i had submitted the documents 10 days back to their representative.On enquiry with customer service(need to hold the phone atleast 15 ~ 30 mins) they say that my documents did'nt reach their mumbai branch . Hence they have deactivated my account. To put it simply, they are punishing me for their mistake. I request your intervention for justice and get these culprits punished.
    *********For yout kind information this is secound time they are asking for this, earlier few years back they collected same documents stating that they lost these documents in mumbai floods...

    I have seen lot of similar complaints on this site, can we work together and fight case against ICICI for compromising customer information. If they don't have these documents now we can put charge of illegally accessing our savings account without any authority. ICICI is harassing customers for their own mistake. Let me know if we can take any serious action against ICICI cribbing alone will not help, we need to get all such guys together and fight this case together otherwise these guys will keep screwing us if we are not united.

      Dear Sir

      I was holding ICICI bank Credit card having No [protected]. I had lost my card and i given compliant to Police and informed ICICI bank also within 12 hours.However, unfortunately somebody got that card and made use of that to the extent of Rs.70, 000. I have asked from bank to show me the chargeslip and also investigation report which they have carried out to find out the unauthorised use and I am sure signature on chargeslp will not match and inthat case Merchant should be responsible for that fradulent transaction. Inspite of sending 3 letters to Bank for above, bank has never replied to that and continued sending statement to me for dues and reported my name in CIBIL affecting my credibility. My point is how can merchant swipe the card of such huge amount without verify signature and identity if the person is buying Air conditioner by Credit card and not taking home delivery, this should create suspicious and he should carry out all such check where he can ensure that he is holder of credit card. Therefore, merchants are also liable if they have not checked the signature and identify the identity before authorising the transaction.Therefore, my request to bank is shown me all the chargeslip for which they are claiming the dues and investigation report which they have carried out after my compliant and same was done in true spirit and not just a mere formality, If after verify that it appears that signature was matching and Merchant has performed his duty and done all check before executing the transaction then what bank is claiming from me is correct, before that they should take out my name from CIBIL immediately and apologies to me for casuing harm to my creditability by putting my name in CIBIL.

      I hope you will take action immediately and stop Banks misusing the CIBIL reportimg tool.

      I am also currently going through the same experience. Here bank involved is Standard Chartered and even the transaction slips provided to me are signed by some one else you got my lost card. On receipt of two transaction messages I reported the matter to Bank and locked the card to prevent further damage. The view point that once my signature is there on the signature panel of the card it must be checked by merchant which signature is being done on transaction slip. Above all banks recovery agents/officers/staff make repeated calls and use abusive language and harass continuously.

      The onus must be on Merchant for such cases since to sell their products/services and earn money they ignore such measures which can totally stop such mishaps and save time money and energy for both card holder and issuing bank.

        Dear Sir,

        I am Tarun Kumar Chakraborty, I am having an ICICI VISA Credit card using which I very often book a ticket but from yearsterday I am facing a problem in booking ticket that is my card pin is not being authenticated by ICICI bank and from today the option of ICICI PG through which I am supposed to pay for my ticket is missing.

        Kindly help me.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I am holding a credit card ([protected]) with ICICI bank. I received a call from ICICI Bank customer care that an EMI scheme is applicable on my card till 31st of July, 2009 and I can avail that. I did a shopping on 28th July, 2009 and called customer care to change that amount to EMI option. The customer care executive told me the processing fee and EMI for six months and assured me that it will be converted. But after seeing my e statement and the monthly statement I received, that shopping amount was not converted to EMI. After calling the bank they are telling me that they are helpless and they have withdrawn the scheme on 28th itself and I will have to pay the whole amount. I approached the senior members of the bank but they all are forcing me to pay the whole amount and clearly stated that inspite of being their mistake they cannot do anything. I told them that I will be taking the help of consumer forum they were fine with that also. I dont know, highlighting the complaint on this site would help me or not, but if seriously this site is monitored by any authorized person I would humbly request to take an action against these types of frauds by the companies so that the should atleast value their customers. I have the record of people, (Meeta, Chetan, Usha Rani) involved in this case so if you require to follow-up I am always there.

          These types of companies or banks feel that the customers cannot do anything and they can do whatever they want. Right now they are feeling that what exactly a single consumer can do against them and they will not be affected by this small incidence. Please suggest me what necessary actions can be taken against this fraud.

            Subject: Did not receive ICICI Credit Card # [protected] settlement letter yet from the past 2 1/2 years from the ICICI Bank.

            I am Srinivas s/o Mr. B.Padma Rao he had ICICI Credit Card # [protected]. My father got heart attack on August 30 th 2006 after he got discharged. ICICI Bank CC collection guy has come to our home for the payment. I spoke to him regarding the settlement of my father ICICI card settlement.

            The executive name : P. Prabhkar Reddy asked me to pay rs: 2000 as the first installment for the ICICI card settlement. Which i did on 20 / 10 / 2006 and asked him to get the settlement letter to do the full and final settlement. He asked for 10 days time and called me and asked to come to the Credit Cards office at Saifabad Land Mark: Opposite Assembly.

            I Srinivas went to the Credit Card office and spoke to the officer in charge regarding the settlement and committed settlement for 25, 000 rs. The officer asked me to make the payment at the ICICI bank below the office and asked to come with the receipts. I went to him after doing the payment of rs. 23, 000 on 02 / 11/ 2006 and with the receipt of rs.2000 which made earlier.

            I explained our financial situation and also submitted the discharge summary of my father being admitted at the hospital for the heart stroke. And requested him to settle the case at the earliest as i dont my father to think and get another stroke. The officer committed to give the settlement letter and made me wait for the whole day and at the end of the day asked me to come tomorrow to collect the settlement letter as there is some delay from the head office to send the settlement letter. I trusted the officer and went back home hoping to get the settlement letter for my father ICICI bank credit card.

            Next they made me wait in the lobby for hours together asking me to wait for 5 mins. This thing has gone for 2 months. The officer introduce me to one of the ICICI employee ( Kishore - phone # [protected] )regarding the settlement letter. He also asked me to come to the office everyday to collect the settlement letter and at the end of the day gives me a reason that they didnt heard back anything for the Head office. This continued for 3 months and one day he suggests me " To get the settlement letter if i pay him rs.6000 extra other than the rs. 25, 000 i paid. He will forward my request to the ICICI Head Office and get the settlement letter. So for one full year from 02 / 11 / 2006 to 02 / 12 / 2008 i have been doing circles around the office.


            Later one day another executive ( Name : Vijay - Phone# [protected] ) comes home and ask to do the payment. I explained him what all has been going on from the past one year. He asked me to give a personal check for rs 2, 000 again. And said that he will talk to his officer about the settlement and will get the letter. After a week when i contact him about the status. He reported that they haven’t forward the letter for settlement and also the 25, 000 Rs they took it under payments.

            He being the ICICI representative suggested me that not to pay a single rupee as they are not taking up my case seriously even after me paying the money and also explaining them about the financial status.

            later another executive ( name: Shekar - Phone # [protected] ) contacted me and said that he would get the settlement letter. He informed that he would get me the settlement letter if i pay him 12, 000 rs. This time i asked for the settlement letter first. But he asked me for the payment first and promised to give me the settlement letter after i do the payment.

            During this time i also got a call from the Chennai Office regarding the Credit Card Settlement. I spoke the lady and explained her what was going on and also conference the call with the executive Prabhaker Reddy. The lady heard the conversation between me and Prabhaker Reddy as she was on mute. After he hung up, She said that the call has been recorded and she will get back to me with some solution immediately. But so far no resolution from any of them.


            So i have come across so many Officers and Executives to do a simple settlement. My Father has being HARASSED and THREATENED by the ICICI Bank employees. Now if he gets another attack because of the TORTURE given by the ICICI employees. I held responsible the ICICI Bank Chairman for this entire episode.


            So I kindly request you to do the needful at the earliest possible.

              I am an old customer of the ICICIBank, with a good credit rating.

              a) On 12 Dec 08 ---- ICICI Bank linked my Credit Card No [protected] with an iMint Card no = [protected]. Contrary to the routine bank procedures - ICICI Bank NEVER transferred my reward points to the account for the next 6 months!!! I would like to understand the reason for this irregularity.

              b) On repeated occassions - when I had tried to redeem my points -- the same had been delinked from my netbanking option ( without any intimation to me). I had to repeatedly get in touch with Customer Care to link the card back with my Customer Relationship No.

              c) In mid June 09 -- once again I have tried to redeem my 2351 points online. Due to some online error - the transaction did not succeed on repeated attempts.

              d) In the first week of Jul 09 -- I decided to redeem my points online, only to discover that the card had gone missing). The bank representatives were unable to tell me the reason for the delinking the card as they were completely clueless.

              e) As I was following up, on 30 Jul 09 - I received a Customer Care representatives call stating that
              (i) the concerned card has been cancelled on 16 June 09. & (ii) unless I redeem the points immediately - the same would be considered lapsed on 16 Jul 09!?!?!?!? I wonder why the Bank did not have the etiquette to keep me posted earlier.

              f) Having escalated the matter to Customer Care, I STILL DONOT HAVE ANY ANSWERS on all the lapses made by the bank staff.
              * WHY am I made to suffer for FAULTS made by the bank personnel? Instead of compensation for harassment - WHY am I being VICTIMISED?
              * WHAT is the level of training imparted to a Customer Care Agent -- who seems to have always been clueless on the errors?
              * WHY were my Credit Card No [protected] points not transferred to the i-MINT Card no. [protected] over a period of 6 months?
              * WHAT action has been taken against staff who neglected their duties?
              * WHAT audit breach measures have been taken against the department for failing their processes?

              I would like the Bank to transfer the points to my iMint Card.

              It is to inform that I have been maintaining a saving account with ICICI bank for the last 4 year. When I opened, account with the said bank in 2006, I received a call from ICICI bank for mediclaim policy. The representative narrated the facilities which I could avail. I was paying regular installments against my Mediclaim policy (i.e Lombard). In the month of Aug.2007, I visited a recognized hospital in Delhi and asked them for my dental treatment. The Hospital authorities told me in verbal that my mediclaim policy did not cover such facility. I contacted customer care icici, but they did not respond properly. It can be seen from records of my mediclaim policy that I have not spent even a single penny from the mediclaim policies obtained for my wife Smt. Reeta Hans and myself though I have spent Rs.9000/- for dental treatment of my wife. I have sent number of mails and made complaints with Customer care centre for canellation of my credit card but despite my repeated e-mails for cancellation of credit card no [protected], you people are still sending regular monthly bills though I have not spent even a single penny. Not only this, I have also not availed any medical facilitilty for which the said card was obtained. At the time of issuing the said card to me, ur representative told me that I would be able to get dental treatment but when I approached one of the Hospitals, I came to know that no such facility was available against the said credit card or madiclaim policy. It has revealed that you people have cheated me. Since, I was cheated by u people, I made number of requests for cancellation of said card and even made requests on cutomer care centre since Oct, 2007. But it is your DADAGIRI that you pepole are still sending bills to me which is absolutely an harrasment. I have already declared that I am not going to pay even a single penny against the CREDIT CEARD BILLs . So stop sending bills and mentally harasing me other wise I will be comelled to take appropriate action.

                Have been a 16 year customer of ICICI and am ready to dump these incompetent folks. I have all sorts of accounts with them but the worst of the lot are ICICI Direct folks. They lost my account opening papers in a move (after the account has been open for the last 8 years) and sent me a letter to refurnish details again.

                a. Why in the world would someone move papers from one storage to others after 8 years?
                b. No copies are maintained? In the world of digitization, paper copies are maintained w/o backup?
                c. How dumb of someone to inform that we have lost your identity and its our fault and we have no remorse on it. Wish it was a western nation and these folks would have danced the jingle then
                d. Someone named Ashish from ICICI direct called and spoke about me "cooperating" to submit the docs which they had lost. Talk about humility and an apology. I told him to go hang himself off the nearest tree.

                Then someone unwittingly decides to reset the charges on my account for ICICI Direct to double of what was agreed upon in writing. My relationship manager is so lost that it takes him 7 months to figure out what the issue is. Lo and behold the trades made in the interim result in a Rs 35, 000/- excess transaction charges. So instead of apologizing for the reset, they refuse to acknowledge their mistake and no refund is provided on the charges. Is this day light robbery or just shameful business practices ?

                Its same case in our family, we have put the complaint in RBI & SEBI (you can do the same, its online process.)

                These guys are so careless about customer data we should take them in the court for compromising our personal information. In US institute needs to pay heavy fine for such issues, not sure whats the law here but we will fight.

                    I lost my Debit Card 2weeks back and I went to nearest branch in Mount Road in Chennai. Where they issued a instant visa card (Debit Card) and they promissed me that the card will activate in 1hr minimum or maximum 24hrs However its been 10days where the card is still inactive and also Branch promisse me that they will Block the Old card which I lost But still the Old card is not Block. When I called ICICI Telephone Bank they are said they cant help me and I have to get in touch with Branch. I didnt even have money for my food from 10days and Im dieing here. Please Help Me.

                          many have complainted to us that ICICI never reduces its rate of interest on Home loans for the loans taken during[protected]. while it allots new home loans at reduced rates of interest.

                          This policy is not fair. Then what is the use of "VARIABLE" loan policy?

                          Government should look into this matter.

                          Apart, when rates increase, ICICI bank immediately increases rates of its existing customers. But when rates decrease, ICICI bank doesnot reduce rates of interest on hme loans to its existing customers.

                          This is where we are different from developed countries.

                          Its really Pathetic. how our country will progress? This way?

                          We request RBI to check the minute details and take affirmative action. we have weak control over cheating corporates in India. This is not the case in european countries.

                              Hi,

                              I have sent an Online DD through Citibank on 25th of June towards the payment of my ICICI Bank Credit card. I have been sending DD's every month to the same address of the bank. This DD is delivered through the same courier used by Citibank. ICICI Bank claims that they have not recieved the DD inspite of Citibank giving a letter stating that the DD no for the specified amount had been delivered at 4pm on the 26th of June and they have the POD with the signature and company seal of ICICI Bank. Though the documents have been submitted to ICICI bank, they sent me a mail stating that the investigation is on and will revert to me in 7 working days. Inspite of the investigation being on, the have added late charges fees to my account and added service charges for non-payment. They are still not able to trace my DD for Rs. 5000/- though it is close to 2months now, neither have they got back to me with any progress. I told them I would complain at Consumer Forum but they dont care. Nobody has even called me except for the Collection Executives who are harrassing me for making the payment. They keep calling everyday and saying that thye would send their people to collect the cheque. Inspite of giving them the ref no and telling them that I have made the payment and ICICI bank is investigating on the missing DD, they still do not stop calling and asking the same questions. I have lost of mind with this bank and do not understand how they could put their customer into so much of in-convenience. I had to do my payment due for this month to avaoid the collection executives calls. Because I'm continuing to make my payment, they do not care about the missing DD and not reverting back to me.

                              Please help me in tracing my money as they do not even give any officials phone no. When I call its the junior level people who do not even know what they are saying and keep making me repeat my card no, ref no and all other questions. This is really annoying and I want to file a case against this bank.

                              I am really shocked and surprised at the working of ICICI BANK CARD DIVISION, because even after ONE TIME SETTLEMENT of the Card NO: [protected]in OCT 2008 for Rs 2, 50, 000/ paid vide DD drawn on BANK OF BARODA, CIVIL LINES KANPUR; this is the fourth occasion when my Saving Bank Account has been blocked causing immense hardship, inconvenience and embarrassment.



                              Not only this I was having another credit card as well of ICICI and that too was cleared under ONE TIME SETTLEMENT for a Sum of Rs 90, 000/- paid in two installments in the month of October and November 2008.



                              Thus I do not see any reason why all this is happening causing undue problems to the undersigned.



                              I have personally gone to the Bank shoed the documents and after having been satisfied the account was restarted. Thus I fail to understand why is the Bank out to harass me??



                              The Bank owes an explanation for this un professional behavior.



                              Kindly look into the matter immediately and see that the Saving Bank Account is made operative immediately.

                                I have a Saving Bank Account (SB A/c No.[protected] in ICICI Bank, Sushant Lok Phase-I Branch at Gurgaon. My S.B Account was phished on 10.08.2009 and transferred money through internet banking an amount of Rs.1.0 lakh in two transactions of 50, 000/- each (Transactions reference Nos. BIL/[protected]/R and BIL/[protected]/R).

                                I was failed to access to my account through internet on 10.08.2009 around at 7.00 PM. Immediately, I have contacted 24 hours Customer services Cell of ICICI Bank. I found that 1.0 lakh was transferred from my account in two transactions of 50, 000 each and lodged complaint at ICICI Customers Services Cell over phone.

                                As advised by the Customer services Cell, I went to ICICI Bank to freeze my account on 10.08.2009 at 7.45 PM, so that no further illegal transactions take place. I have also given a written complaint to Branch Manager, ICICI Bank, Sushant Lok Branch on the same day and time.

                                The Branch Manager, Sushant Lok Branch, Gurgaon has told that the case has been informed to ICICI Bank Corporate Office, Bombay and it is under investigation.

                                In this regard, I would like to bring to your kind notice that I have received three emails dated 29th July, 30th July & 6th August, 2009 from acc.[protected]@icicibank.com/[protected]@acicionline.com and advised me to update online account for an enhancing the account security.

                                In view of the above facts, I request you to kindly arrange to revert the amount of Rs.1.0 lakh to my account at the earliest.

                                  i had submitted a icici bank account form on 27th jul for opening a salary account (TCS) in sec-27 noida branch..but its not activated yet...on 7th aug when i enquired about its activation from the delhi customer care no..i was told that the form has been rejected..its annoying that i ddt got any intimation from the dealing executive that it had been rejected after 10 days, i came to know the same...even at the time of form filling i asked him, whether he needs any more documents, but he denied...thereafter the form got rejected

                                  on 8th aug, i re-submitted the form but till date, the account no[protected] is not activated yet...
                                  several times in a day, i call the dealing exceutive (mr. damodaran) and also the sales manager (mr. amit ghera) of sec-27 noida branch of icici bank..but there is no satisfactory reply...

                                  such kind of irresponsible and unsatisfactory behaviour is not expected from a prestigious bank like icici...

                                  kindly pay attention to the above matter else i have to take some formal actions in the consumer forum for the inconvenience and wastage of time your bank has caused..

                                  with ref.your letter No.icicibk/salweed/301/34250 dated 09.09.09, .the salary account No.[protected] was got opened by my employer. And leter on due to unavoidable circumstances it could not be operated account. There for i humbly request that this account may kindly be closed at the earliest and no further action taken as the documents relating to the account have since been returned to your branches at Chandigarh.

                                    I have got ICICI credit card No.[protected] during May-07. I have made several purchases using this card and also I have paid the due amount periodically. During Jun-07 their associate company ICICI Lombord called for a mediclaim insurance policy for a total premium amount of Rs.6522/- in 24 equal installments. The necessary amount was debited in my above card account.After completion of 17 installments After two months they have sent one more medilaim card to me pertaining to my wife card. But the two premium was debited in my above card account. After 17 installments, I have asked Lombord people to cancel the both policies. They have agreed for the same. I have received my Nov-08 statement has a opening balance of Rs.5445.00 (due date 07.12.08) without adjusting the above two policy amounts. They have debited the two premium installments as usual. I hope that they have reversed the total premium amount so far debited in the month of Dec-08 statement. I have received the Dec-08 statement. I am very much shocked.They have reversed the service tax and interest amount to the tune of Rs.1379.24. More over they have debited Rs.2041.37 (the balance premium amount I have to pay in the total amount of Rs.6522/-). Hence the total amount due is raised Rs.7066.31 I have received my Jan-09 statement. In that they have reversed Rs.763.32 towards the another policy. In that also they have debited an amount of Rs.1470.47(the balance premium amount I have to pay in the total amount of Rs.6522/-). Hence my total due amount further raised to 8874.05. I have sent complains to their Grievances Redress to Mr.Harshil Mehta, Hyderabad explained their wrong debits and necessary to my card account. But till date I have not received any reply. In the month of April-09 they have accumulated my due amount to Rs.10000-/ plus and I have received a notice from their credit card division for immediate payment. I have against sent detailed letter to their customer card. But all are vain. In the month of May-09 first week I am unable to withdraw my salary amount (April-09 salary) since my card was blocked by the credit card people. In this I have approached my ICICI Nungampakkam branch They have simply replied that your salary amount was fully debited against your credit card dues. Hence you please go to credit card division for further inquiries. I have gone to credit card division for clarification. They have not ready to address my problem and they have simply whatever debited was debited. If you want to closed this issue you just sign the settlement form. Other wise you have to pay more and more by way of late fee interest etc. And more over you have told that the reversal was not made properly by our Lombord people, you please visit our Lombord office for clarification.

                                    After that I have wrote a detailed letter to Lombord customer care. In this regard one Mr. Irfan Baig from their Mumbai office called me over phone and he had explained that my two policies were canceled and they were given full refund. On hearing from him I have again wrote a detailed letter to ICICI credit card division explaining that the Lombord people given full refund, but you have not given the same. But no response. Still they have sent statments with a due amount of more than Rs.3000/- plus. As per my calculations they have reversed atlease an amount Rs.10000/-. Hence you please look into the matter and arrange for an early reversal.

                                    Credit Card — reversal of debit amount

                                    I tried to book railway ticket from irctc web site so many times but the ticket was not booked.On 28/Nov my credit card satement was generated and reflecting that the two ticket was booked through my credit card in the month statement of November-08.please revers the debit amount of my credit card, I call so many times to your customer care but they didnot solve my problem, transaction I.D is required by the irctc to revers the debit amount, it is requested that kindly send the transaction I.D of my debit amount to irctc upto the date of 7/12/08 immediately .                                     Credit Card — WRONG DEBIT OF Rs 10000/-

                                    As per my latest Cr Card statement of Feb, 2009 I find that there has been a Debit of Rs 10000/- to my card account due to wrong credit given in my earlier statement of October, 2008.
                                    From the details I find that a cheque for Rs10000/- deposited by me was reversedas it was not received by you. But Iam sorry to state that after confirming from my Banik account I find that same cheque was duly debited to my account in your favour.I have lodged a complaint on 14.03.2009 . The details are as follows:

                                    Cheque no. 69177 dt 10.10.2008 for Rs 10000/- was Debited to my account on 15.10.2008.

                                    I would request you to look into the matter immediately and reverse the same in my statement .
