Hi all,

I was using idea postpaid 2 year back and used my idea app for the payment and i saved the credit card details in that app.
Now i was switched to other network.

During 22ndmay2018 my citi bank credit card was miss used for payment of rs 10315. I raised the case to citi bank for the details.

Citi bank after 6 month provide the details of miss used amount based on reference id shared.

This is in reference to the disputed transaction on your card account for rs 10315.16 at idea cell - billdesk dated 22-may-2018 under reference i[protected]

That account was related to jse infotech pvt ltd company.
Company number : [protected]

I connected with the company for details, they also not aware of the payment. The payment made from my account was add as credit to the account and used for next 2 cycle billing.

But idea is not provided any proper explanation on this and not accepting the issue from their end. I don't have any connect with company and idea, still i am struggling to get my money. Idea is directing me to check with company and give the details. I don't know why is should check with company, i did investigation and provide the details. They still expecting solution from me.

    Idea no - [protected] - paid 12000 extra by mistake, asked to reverse in same account, but idea is not doing. So, they told that they will send 12000 rs cheque. Now they closed my refund request c[protected]. They are revising the date again and again and not ready to refund the extra amount.

    Payment was done on[protected], since then they are telling that we have dispatched cheque against service request c[protected], when i ask them about cheque details or date of dispatch or any company details for sending cheque, then they tell that we will send it to you. I am checking with them again and again on call centre, but keep on telling different date, no intention of returning money. When i ask them to connect to some manager or any other person, they tell that no one is available. I only had 17000 in my account and now i am left with no money and they are not returning my money.

    Please help in getting back the money.

    Dear Lakshmi,

    I called back on the number from where i got call, but its not reachable. I called on idea customer care and told them they i got call from idea. But again, I got information that I will get call back and no information regarding extra amount return.

    Please call anytime or just send me cheque of extra amount paid to Idea. You can send me cheque details on email or sms or even send courier tracking number on sms or email. Please dont wait for taking to refund the amount.

    Or did idea now came up with new excuse and again try to defer payment date with new excuse. I dont think idea has any intent to pay back, You guys want this amount to be there in your account.

    I am Stupid customer of Idea Cellular, paid extra amount on 16th October, now its end of year. waiting from more than 59 days to get refund. You should not harass your customer like this, just because i paid extra amount by mistake.

    I am waiting for any call from Idea, as you guys mentioned that idea was trying to contact me. I called again on customer care, to check status of the refund. Till now refund has not been sent to my address. extra amount was paid on 16th October and complaint has been raised for more than 60 days now.

    is there any possibility to get refund. There is no dispute that there is wrong bill, wrong internet usage, any other complication is not there, its plain and simple case, by mistake extra amount was paid and that needs to be returned. I really cannot understand, why Idea is not returning money.

        I have balance on my number yet i cannot call. They say my outgoing validity has expired nd i need need to do a recharge so i recharged for talk time yet i cannot make calls. Plz revert as this is very annoying. What am i supposed to do now😑highly disappointed with idea. I even called customer care services but all their calls are busy nd i cant even complain to them😑

          I lost my mobile phone on 24th october. Since then the person who has my phone have been using it and inspite of asking for the phone is not returning it. My sim card has all my important contacts and there is a possibility that the person who stole my phone may misuse the data and the contact numbers.             I am a regular customer of idea for last 8 years. Recently i had converted my 3g network in 4 g.                 I have paid bill for billing account number[protected] / [protected] on alternate number provided by idea associate but still they are me harassing with multiple emails, sms and sms.
                I have provided them bill payment receipts multiple times but no positive outcome from your side. Idea people are still sending me intimation emails.
                So my request to consumer forum to ask idea to stop sending such emails and stop calling me else i will file harassment case against them.

                Also find attached bill payment receipt, latest bill.

                  Dear sir,

                  I have inquired 10 days back about the international roaming pack of rs596/- in the idea customer care. The executive from the customer care has given me full details of the pack. He told me on recharge of rs.596/- you will get 10 days validity for international roaming. You will get 596 as balance. Outgoing and incoming charges are rs.30/- per min each and sms rs.25/- and is valid for any country you travel. I again asked me whether it is valid in maldive. He told me yes. I further asked him whether the above details are applicable for usa also, he told me yes. So i recharged with the pack on 30.11.2018 as i have to leave for maldive on 01.12.2018. I have not got the above benefits. I cannot make any call or receive any call when i was maldive. Even i do not get credit of rs.596/-. So when i arrived in gujarat i called customer care and they told me it was valid for only uae so for this reason i want to lodge complain and want to receive rs.596/- as refund. Kindly cooperate.

                    I was recharged with rs. 35 with offer displayed in my idea app unlimited calls + 1.4 gb data/day for 84 days. When recharged received only rs. 26 talktime & 100 mb data.
                    Customer care rep answers:
                    1) no offer generated by idea cellular like that.
                    2) so you are recieved default recharges against rs. 35.

                    I had asked to register my complaint but customer care executive refused.

                      Idea charged me 8rs. For activating vas.
                      Upon confirming with call centre the respose was that you have been charge because u have clicked on promotional adv flashed on screen.
                      Even if clicked mistakenly your balance would be deducted immediately without anothr intimation.
                      Funny thing is even they dont know which vas they have activated, its just money making matter.

                        Hi i am ajinkya and using idea network. I am facing an call drop issue since yesterday morning and the call drop is so frequent that i can not talk to the person more than 1-2 min or less. This issue happens with all the numbers for incoming and outgoing call.

                            I was recharged with 159 with offer unlimited calls + 28 GB data for 28 days. Received only 1 GB data. Customer care rep answers:
                            1) At the time of recharge offer was Unlimited calls + 1 GB data.
                            2) Network issue is going on to some numbers, check at night 12 pm.
                            3) Your device is faulty.
                            4) At the time of recharge offer was Unlimited calls + 1 GB data.

                            I had asked to register my complaint but they refused. Also discussed with Senior customer rep mgr but no use.

                                  I am leaving in chandigarh sector 15 from last 9 to 10 month.                                     Idea do fraud with its cusromers Really shame on you people for doing fraud with the customers as you people don't have guts to earn your income. Instead you people become greesy hungry fellows to eat the benefits of rhe customers. If this is the way you people treat the customers then that day is not so far when you will lose the business. Now you people become greedy by eating the money every month. If you have little bit shame and little bit self respect and respect for your parents then give the benefits from your side as your services becoming worse day by day. Show some respect to the customers by giving them bemefits from your side atleast to me instead of looting me cheating with me and doing fraud with me.

                                    If you can't do this thing then do one thing take one big katora and sit on the road. People will give you lot of money to you. You hungry greedy beggars only have the mentality to loot he customers instead of giving them benefits you people become blood suckers of them. Really shame on you.

                                      Sir, i have idea prepaid mobile number. They atopped my internet and outgoing calls, when i call the they said your validiy is expire even i have 227 balance. Sir, even i have sufficient balance. They minimum charge 35 for 28 days and gave 25 as balance. They have to follow validity like bsnl (6 months for rs 36 only). My e-id = trinder.                                         Yesterday, i have experienced an unexpected behaviour from idea that i got a text message from 51998 and the moment i opened the message the same thread got updated with a balance deducted message too. I am attaching the screenshot of the message thread here.
                                        I have contacted one of your customer care executive, she said that i have dialled *123# and because of that the balance got deducted and is one time also, but i did not have dialled *123# from my mobile and it is not there in my call history too.
                                        I have experienced the deduction once i opened that incoming text message, so i think it should a technical problem, please investigate and let me know.

                                        I have tried to STOP the VAS service and i got the reply as "Dear Customer, you are currently not subscribed to any VAS service." Could you please tell me what this means?
                                        I was subscribed to any VAS services or not? or is it stopped automatically? Please tell me, i could not understand what you are saying.

                                        As per our recent communication, we've informed that you've been charged accordingly while using Idea Power service. Hence, we request you to send SMS as STOP to 593350 to stop the flash SMS or else you can refer the below given steps to stop the flash service manually from your handset. Also, you can dial *121*46# to stop the Idea Power messages. For further assistance, kindly contact us on 12345 or 198.

                                        Refer to the below given steps to deactivate the Flash SMS:-

                                        - Go to your handset SIM Toolkit/ Idea Power option
                                        - Click on Idea Flash option
                                        - Tap on Activation
                                        - Click on Deactivate

                                        My account is still getting deducted with 3 rupee. This was again happened yesterday (10-Jan-2019). I don't have any VAS services subscribed from my account.

                                        Why idea and airtel charged 35 rupees per person?
                                        Idea and airtel have a 20crore customer so 20crore*35= 700 crore/month rupees. Without any difficulty.
                                        It's our choice weather we have to use the sim or not.

                                        We have a bank account linked with this sim.
