I have been using idea since a long time. The signals were fine until the mid of july 2018 and i am still facing the issue. I live in gokhalenagar area of pune. When i shifted there, i was satisfied with the signal i used to get but like from the mid of july 2018 the signals have gone really weak. I get one bar of 3g data and everytime to get 4g i have to put the phone on airplane mode and then use it. But that lasts for not even 2 minutes and the signal goes back to 3g. A lot of my transactions have failed due to the same. I also complained through there customer care number but it was of no help and they told me that i should check the network coverage in the idea app. This wasn't even the solution to my problem. I don't even think that they understood my problem. I pay rs. 650 every month for these services but this is what i have been getting in return since the last month i. E. July. Kindly help me out here.

    From evening, automattically the outgoing call are barred and when i am turninf off they are not turning off and showing network or sim card error.
    I put the sim to off call barring but same notifictn it is showing of network or sim card error.
    Please help me out i am unable to cal even ur idea customer care number

      We got activated 4999 plan in our postpaid idea phone [protected]. But the service is horrible. It didn't work here. We had to face a lot of inconvenience on arrival. Despite our repeated emails, idea failed to provide services here. We came here for 20 days. Already 7 days gone but idea failed miserably in providing services here. We have already sent emails but they are closing complaints by saying - we tried to contact you but your phone is not working. This is what our problem is damn it. This phone is not working. Will this ever work???

        Hi,
        I have idea mobile. After resolving 4g service complain[protected] in my area, nothing seems working at all. Idea customer care keep saying its resolved but now its worst showing no network. Customer service is also worst when they transfer call to senior, he/she not able to listen to my voice and disconnect the call. It happened daily.

          I have been a using idea cellular service since year 2012. We have 4 idea postpaid connection.

          Recently i traveled to usa to visit my relatives. And all this time my data was switched off. I have never used data during my travel to usa.

          I was first surprised looking at total bill amount and then aghast looking at gprs charges. Bill statement shows that i have used data of 5.8 mbps and i have been charged whopping rs. 3025/- for the same. (I. E 600rs per mbps) which is ridiculous. This is all cheating with postpaid connection customer.

          There seems to be some mistake with my bill generation. My phone data was switched off during all this travel. I am still in usa so can not reach out to customer care over the phone. I request you to help me with resolving this issue and get updated statement generated.

            Hello sir, i have raised a request for converting my idea number to postpaid to prepaid but they do not approve our request. Since last 6 months i am facing this problem. Now i have requested on sector 22 chandigarh idea outlet for conversion of postpaid to prepaid and they tell me to wait for 4 days or 33 hours but nothing is done yet even customer care call me today and tell me we could not process your request.

            Even i have requested for port my number to another company but they rejected my port request even when i have paid the bill more than monthly bill so that no pendency of any bill exists.

              I am receiving clash 0 message in every 5 min on my idea no [protected] and it close my all application who i used and if i want to try to cal complained helpline 198 it was never connected. I use first time idea but i really think it was my biggest mistake and it's network signal and data connection was lost any time and it's data speed is so slow i can not enjoy online video and other thing and most important thing is i i never complaint it's because it's complain help line is never connected

                  unable to receive text messages

                  I updated my idea 3g sim to idea 4g, i am unable to receive any messages from others friends, banks etc. I time to time in need of money transfer regarding otp sms from bank from last 1 week due to my daily work is being disturbed i have also sent port request but its msg was also not received my number is [protected]. I would not suggest idea network to anyone. The ad that appear on tv of idea network makes me sick...

                  I opted for a 1GB add on pack in October/November for charge of Rs.100.
                  Despite request of dis continuing this service from January in call with customer care they still continued the service.
                  Again in Feb, I called customer care where the guy accepted the mistake and took the request to discontinue the request.
                  Even I was offered the discount of Rs 100 for three months for the mistake by your client.

                  Still the service was not de-activated. So I decided to close all relation with your client Idea and port to Airtel.
                  The first potability request was cancelled without any intimation and since as per my calculations I underplayed the bill.
                  Then I went to Idea gallery and asked them to clear off all my dues, they said you just need to pay three hundred plus rupees and all your dues will be cleared off.
                  It is Idea who calculated all the amount this time and since portability request is approved I felt all the dues are settled.
                  Had it not been the case the portability request should have been cancelled.

                  I think your client is now being dis-honest in the way calculation are being done to fetch additional Rs.535.
                  How are they calculating:
                  I had a 15 day billing cycle for which I had to pay 350 (Monthly plan plus addon(calculated by Idea)).
                  As per your client's calculation the ad on will be split so I had to pay Rs. 50 for 512 mb. This okay.
                  for the next 512 mb they are charging me like anything (500+). It is also not fair that if I have a service of Rs. 100 why I should be charged for more than 100?

                  Note that I had a plan which provides me 1gb per day in last month and it is sufficient for me.
                  But as per your client first add on data will be consumed on the first day of billing cycle. which as mentioned multiple requests have been made to disable the service.

                  I tried to resolve this issue contacting Idea customer care:
                  Their statement is since I am no more Idea customer, they cannot lodge a complaint.

                  I tried mailing the customer care to Idea (Reference ID E[protected]. They contacted me and said they will check the call transcripts and revert to me. I am still waiting.

                  Then I went to Idea Gallery to clear this issue they also took my request but the response was you need to pay at least half of the amount, rest would be waived off.
                  But why should I pay? My morality didn't allowed me to pay and I was waiting for 30 days time period after which I could contact applet office.

                  Now I am served with a legal notice to pay the Rs. 535 in 3 days else they would initiate criminal and civil proceedings

                    Hello team.. This is vijayalaxmi bandiwar... I recently came to singapore my idea sim is not working in singapore.
                    Mobile is sony experia model no d2502, my phone is 3g and idea sim card 4g.
                    No service issue i am not getting.

                      Internet speed is very slow is greater than last 3-4 months.
                      I have giving some issue from network speed.
                      I also trying change the apn setting for giving fastest speed suggested by your costumer care (By calling 198) but it won't gave the speed.

                      If internet speed is very slow then i'm not getting benefit to make recharge of rs.350&above.

                          I have registered a request to port idea into airtel on 11/8/2018 and on the same day i have paid whole outstanding amount with 7 days of advance. When i called cc i got to know my request has been cancelled. If i have paid whole amt then why my request has been cancelled?? And even no one has informed me for the same. The executive called me to give differebt offers and not to move from idea but they didn't tell me about my request rejection. Is this the way to trouble the customer.
                          Worst service of idea. The important thing for customers you don't tell them only promote your offers all time

                            The idea store viz. G4communications, shop no.4, building no.89, tilak nagar, mumbai-400089 overcharged me for mnp. He collected rs.50/- for intra circle mnp (Idea to idea) and insisted that i pay rs.250/- more (Total rs.300/-) for recharge. He refused to do the mnp unless i pay rs.300/- to him. This is nothing but unfair business practice and i do not know whether this is in the knowledge of the company or the the idea store fleecing the customers.

                            I hope the company takes note of this malpractice by idea stores and punish them.

                              My idea mobile no. Is [protected] and my complaint relating to wrongly deduction my idea balance as per dated given below.

                              Today (19/08/18) i call idea customer care.

                              Vo bol rahe hai ki aap ki taraf se *123# aur *111# dial kiya tha aur game download kiya hai. But mera phone feature phone hai aur koi bhi ye services nahi li hai please refund my balance if possible.

                              *123# aur *111# dial karne par balance deduct hona ye to cheat hai...

Hence, we request you to send a SMS as STOP to 593350 to stop the flash SMS or else you can refer the below given steps to stop the flash service manually from your handset.
                              Refer to the below given steps to deactivate the Flash SMS:-
                              - Go to your handset SIM Toolkit
                              - Click on Idea Flash option
                              - Tap on Activation
                              - Click on Deactivate

                              Every time i called some one, auto recorded machine replying to me saying your account is barred because u have no service
                              how can this happen to my account i have recharged well in my idea plan

                                I, ojaswi pratulya, had an idea postpaid connection with number [protected] and i had requested termination of the connection in april 2018 after paying all the dues till that date. The service request number is c[protected]. I even got a call from their customer service desk and i confirmed that i do not wish to continue the service. After some time i started getting mails o[censored]npaid dues of rs 2655/- when i haven't even used it. From july i started getting calls threatening me of a legal recourse. Why should i pay for a service i have not used?

                                I haven't recieved any communication in this matter since our last talk on 20th August except for some lawyer threatening me of a legal proceeding, yet again. I also get daily sms on my phone asking me to pay the amount or face legal action.
                                I was told that some official would talk to me later but the call never came. I didn't receive any emails as well. So it is best that you tell your lawyer to stop sending such threatening mails until the problem is resolved.

                                  Yesterday i visited to the store and requested for a postpaid number, they asked to wait, waited for long almost for an hour, the guy who was sitting there was rude, never expected such behavior, after waiting so long they asked to leave and promised they will send a person to home with sim card.
                                  Till now no response at all, pathetic service, such customer service is not acceptable.
                                  I am planning to report this to their head office

                                    I am requesting to convert my above postpaid no. From postpaid plan to prepaid plan. Due to the very expensive plan, i don't want to avail this facility for long time.

                                    In this respect, i want to final settlement of all dues.

                                    Therefore please advice if possible than update me the full and final payments as the current dues after the security money adjustment.

                                    If not possible, we have to go for its portability with the another service provider.

                                    Please advise asap.

                                    The above request has been generate by me through e mails on the such mail ids but the all given mails id are inactive to accept my mail.

                                      I am having the mobile number [protected] today at around 11.30am when i tried to call a number a message came no sim in the mobile.
                                      The sim was in the mobile then why this message and there is no signal also available.
                                      When i call the message i get is enter an emergency number or insert a usim/uim card. I re insulted the sim then also no signal.
                                      Because of it i am facing problem for net and call.
