I have maharashtra circle phone number. For the last 10 years, i am using this postpaid service. Now, i want to change to prepaid.
I approached 2 times to this store and i was told that, it is mandatory to buy rs 557 pack to convert to prepaid.
I am frustrated with their cooperation and planning to port it to other providers.

    Idea cellular has filed the case on my name without any intimation on mail that the payment is due.
    Directly police person calling and using abusive language "stating that we have notice on your name you need to come to high court now".
    I asked him the reason, he didnt made me aware and given a lawyers number.

    Lawyer also used very bad language like i am a criminal and after many a requests i got to know there is a pending bill of amount 1296 which i need to pay.

    I relocated from one state to other thus my mobile no. Got deactivated automatically. But i use to check mails all the time.

    No any direct communication received from the company that the bill is due.

    This is not the professional way. If a phone no. Is not reachable they must communicate from other means also like gmail.

      Hello, idea customer service representative called me and explained me the offer, then i liked the offer. One of their person came to my place and changed my prepaid sim to postpaid sim. When i asked them about the issue they took complaint and gave one number but there is proper response from idea not even from twitter.

        I am resident of ashirwad nagar, nagpur. I live in 4 storey buliding on 5th floor of our building there are more than 5 mobile towers (Still counting) installed on our terrace rooftop from which the dangerous radiations are getting emmited causing health problems to residents members & families of our apartment. There are lot of kids and also pregnant women which are very keen to get affected by this dangerous emmited radiations. We spoke with apartment owner but he is too greddy for money to neglect this. We requestest you to please investigate this tower installation in dwarka complex, ashirwad nagar building & take corrective action.

            Sir, in this regard i have already made a complaint in consumer forum id no. 194493. I request your help to trace the person and address of voda fine mobile number [protected]. As i have already complaint, one person namely k sivakumar approached me in the name of airtel franchise for top up facility and send a sms to my phone rs.3338 is added as airtel ec from the above said mobile on 3rd may 2018 at 0941 hrs and saying that it will be activated after verification of airtel and received rs.3000/- from me. Even after one hour there was verification. Then i have tried to contact in the above said mobile i got only switched off voice. At that i realised that k was cheated. I am prepared to make a complaint with police if and when i get the address of the cheating person. I am a retired bsnl employee and senior citizen and i request the address of the person.             I have a novelty shop at nasiyanur, erode tamilnadu. I have enquired about the recharge faculty at airtel shops. Today (3-5-18) one person namely k sivakumar mobile no. [protected] (Idea mob) approached me for airtel recharge facility showing an id of airtel. He recharged me for rs., 3338/- and said that it will be activated after verification of the airtel and received rs.3000/- from me. Even after one hour no verification was done. Then only i realise that i was cheated in the name of airtel. Then i have trief ithat number. But i could not catch him. I still not bother about the money i lost but it will create a bad name against the airtel by using idea mobile. The complaint may be forwarded to airtel and idea to catch the cheating person.               I was having idea postpaid connection, as i lost my mobile i had asked to block my sim and permanently close my number. Now they sent me bill amount of 1092 which i never used. They are continuously sending mail and doing phone calls for bill payment. They have also send notice of n. S. Vaghela advocate highcourt. This is totally harassment from the company. Idea cellular is adding the charges for the services not taken, and then harassing the customers for bill payment. Idea is now cheating the customers and harassing them.

                Hello,

                I ported my bsnl phone number to idea recently. I earlier had a bsnl sim of punjab area and got my no ported to idea punjab region. Yesterday my bsnl network got disconnected and i inserted my idea sim. I was advised by idea agent to call 59059 after inserting idea sim. When i tried calling the above-mentioned number, it does not connect. After several attempts, there was no success. I eve switched my sim to different hones to see whether there might be other miscellaneous problem. Kindly resolve this issue as this is my primary contact number. I can't make any calls and i had my frc done of rs. 100 from the idea store itself when i had filed an application for porting my no. I am receiving incoming calls only. Please seek into this matter.

                  I would like to bring in your notice that ms. Kanika chowdhary using the number [protected] called me regarding the bill payment of my number which according to her was due for 3 moths. Despite repeatedly asking her to check again as i had personally cleared all the outstanding on 19th of april. She said "if the bill is not cleared by 3 pm on 2nd of may which is today. This shall go to court. And i had to miss my important work to personally go check over this problem. I got to know that the bill was already cleared. And after i called her to check over the problem there was no change in her behavior.

                    After paid previous operator balance, the sim should re-activate in max 48 hrs. But due to misguided and asking questions which cannot be answerable by previous operator, it took almost 5 days delay. Incoming/outgoing off since 5 days and the fact is i have paid the amount on 1st day itself. Still i have to wait for 5 days to activate the sim. As a corporate sim using, this is not expected.

                      We are a partnership firm in indore and most o[censored]s in our firm use services of idea cellular. However on moving to a new location (Pincode: 452001), we are facing network coverage issues. We tried to port to other network provider and consequently applied for mnp. Meanwhile customer executives from idea called me, registered my complaint (Id[protected] dated 24.03.2018) and assured that our problem of network error will be solved in few days by the company and hence requested to not port from idea. I waited for around 15 days for them to solve it, but only thing that was processed during these days was complaint confirmation. Every other day a customer executive would call me for confirming my complaint details. And atlast without solving my network problem i received a text message from idea saying that your complaint has been resolved. This whole process has been repeated twice with me.
                      I request a personal visit from an executive from idea to help and resolve my problem.

                        I got a text message from 51998 with cricket news and rs. 3 were deducted. I sent a stop message and received that there are no services active on my number. Can anyone take a look at this. And stop scamming people. For further clarification, i researched and found out that many people were scammed with such deductions and none of them were resolved.

                          This was an repeated repeated issue i am facing with idea cellular, last month idea cellular resolved the issues, again this month the same problem with my billing, i hope aditya birla doesn't care about the customers. The idea representatives are promising (Faltu) to get the connection.

                          The idea office in rudrapur (Udham singh nagar) in sagad complex the representative name : mr. Honish mob: no - [protected], he is a so care less and i have contacted mr. Mayank from regional office, mob: [protected], he also said the problem will resolve with 24 hours, i have waited for 48 hours still no solution.

                          I really embarrassed with the company people behaviour and the way they talk to the customer.

                          I have requested for common bill for all three numbers, when the time of talking the connection idea has promised 20% discount on rental now the representative confirmed not possible. Last month given and this month what happened??

                          I request consumer form to take serious action against these fraudulent companies. Cheating the customers.

                          This is with regard to the balance of my idea sim which is getting deducted unnecessarily. Kindly look into the matter.
                          Please check why it is getting deducted time and again. Amount gets deducted the next day I recharge the phone.

                          Worst experience with idea, calling on my log book regarding payment due, great idea.people from idea have been calling to the numbers to or from that I have a due payment to them, was shocked to know that additional number on my ID, any issues with me call me, why to call others

                              From about 1 year we are facing network issues at "Sri Kalki Heights, Madinaguda, Hyderabad 500050. Keeping that in view I wanted to change from Postpaid to prepaid services, so that its way for me to PORT.

                              When I reached Idea store Kothapet, the representative by named Sohail has forced me to take the 3 months prepaid package. He declined to give the 1 month package. Now I have to still wait for PORT option or forgo this 2 months unlimited package.

                              I am feeling cheated when idea customer care itself has confirmed that there is no necessity to take 3 months package while changing from post paid to prepaid.

                                I am living in gurgaon, Sohna, badshapur city but from last 3 days i didnot find 4g network here, for the same i asked the customer care and he agrees about my concern.my concern is no 4g network in my area.so i request to provide the services of 4g which is using in our area for which we are paying the amount for the same.also idea is saying that it will took time of about 6 month which was too to build the network or new tower in the area

                                  My name is chaitanya kuna converted my vodafone sim to your network under the perception that your service will be better but unfortunately your service was worst.

                                  Mr. Habib your sales executive has visited my office and presented false statements to me and to my colleagues. He informed that i'll be charged rs. 299 per month including gst and he has given one cug number and informed that it'll be free of cost.

                                  But to my surprise i have been charged 457 and 357 respectively for each sim.

                                  When i called to habib i was informed that the problem will be rectified within 2 to 3 working days but it was not resolved.

                                  I thought customer care people will help me about this problem and i raised complaint on april 11th and the due date of my complaint is april 16th. Again unfortunately till now i didn't get any response from your side. Every time i myself calling to you and following up. Every time i call your customer care people were informing that my complaint is under process. I've been talking with mr. Udaykumar.

                                  Yesterday mr. Udaykumar said he will give some update today but again i myself called to customer care and i got the same reply. Along with the reply i got another information that today is not working so that my complaint will be addressed on monday.

                                  I just wanted to know what's happening?? When my problem will be resolved? Why are you doing like this? Is that a kind of training you are giving to your sales executives? Can't you resolve my issue before the due date? If delay happens can't you inform to the customer about the delay?

                                  Atleast i'm expecting a quick response for this email

                                  When I make call getting a message that this service is on HOLD.

                                    Pls note no action has been taken by idea cellular to refund amount of rs 200 extracted by the service from my account. Instead i get some baseless explaination from the service.

                                    This amount was deducted from my account by idea service in the last 3 months by informing me that i have used some third-party data. There was never ever any vas i had requested for from idea. The failure to point out who is doing the damage in their system is not been considered and deliberately the loss is levied on consumers account by extracting money from them which is totally unethical. When i raise the matter i find deduction in my account. I want the deducted amount back in my account., thanks to the complaint board where i could see many consumers having the same issue ie deduction in the name of "animation from nazara"that too only with idea service, no other service.. When i try to highlight on "animation from nazara" here comes a new one called the"mauj". I shud appreciate the service for getting such unique name and way to extract money from the consumer

                                    Hence i want rs 200 deducted from my account because of idea's negligence credited back to my account

                                      When I had taken Idea connection they told me Plan is 499/- plan and 100/- discount and unlimited calls and unlimited Internet.But when they sent bill for 1st month 562/-, 2nd month 757/-, 3rd month 767/-.when I asked explanation, no satisfactory answer I got from them. Bill also what they sent was not opening for that also they had not helped me . Finally I had taken decision to port the no.After making port they sent a bill of 1080/-.I had complained and asked explanation so many times but proper communication.Finally I told them unless until you you sent me the explanation, I am not going to pay the bill.Then they started abusing me and my wife and friends also.

                                        My parents use a idea sim card no [protected] and they didn't know how to operate the mobile properly.
                                        A service pack is activted by idea and balance is deducted on regular basis without anyone knowledge.
                                        Whenever a recharge si done on mobile, they deduct some amount depending upon the balance. How a service can deduct amount according to balance.
                                        My parents didnt know how to operate mobile properly except receiving or cut an call and thats mean like idea will cut any amount in the name of service.
